AN: I never expected this story to be as popular after a few days, so, uh, thanks for your support. This was more of a side project than other ambitious stories, so I'm happy that this story, as well as the Megaman Zero and ZX series have some recognition on this side of fanon. As for nexusknight2, good choices for music though I was thinking more of Determined Eyes of ZX Advent for the first Megamerge. Maybe I should do an opening with Clover.

I also plan on introducing more elements of the Robotics timeline through the data and memory in Model Z like the Rod weapons, Elemental Chips and other technological marvels, though the most important one would be Cyber-elves, the equivalent of spirits of the Megaman series. For the Nasuverse, the powers of the Cyber-elves shouldn't be possible without Mystery or a Spiritronic quantum computer, but, like Netnavis and EM Beings, they're pure sci-fi beings with no magical component that could theoretically be possible after reaching an enormous breakthrough in AI and energy research through the rules of the Human Order, as a lot of non-magical sci-fi universes prove. Even Atlas, S.I.N. and the Olympians' hyper-advanced technology relies on Nasuverse metaphysics. The Moon Cell is the closest thing that can produce Cyber-elf like beings but doesn't count because it's Spiritron based, not electronic or photonic (despite being quantum) based. And spirits don't count either.

Even some of the feats from Megaman would render the True Magics, which are categorized as scientifically unexplainable or unable to be replicated, to very advanced, difficult but possible magecraft (Time and Dimension travelling, Time manipulation, Soul materialization, Matter Creation/Data Materialization…)

What I meant with all this rant is that I want a progressive merging of Science and Magic as well as mild classic Science vs Magic vs Magitek. Why? Because it's cool.

I may also mix some other sci-fi concepts of other series due to Model Z's information and Chaldea's magitek as well as Mad Scientist Servants making those possible. For example: Copybots made from Reploid technology and the best Golem/Doll crafting techniques serving as more permanent vessels for Servants or BB messing with the Maverick Virus/Cyber-elves reality warping/data materializing abilities to create customized Dimensional Areas or powerful artificial EM Beings/NetNavis at her control, or worse, recreate the Nightmare Phenomenon. Brrr! Heck, even giving inspiration to repurpose the Spiritron Dive to make more conventional transervers or travel directly to Cyberspace is impressive on its own! Or a mix of Spiritron and Cyber-elf Hacking.

I'm open to suggestions to mix the awesomeness of both franchises and make Chaldea even much more prepared and stronger than canon. As long as it's reasonable inside the context, that is.

By the way, magitek or Sufficiently Aged Tech (aka centuries-old Biometals or Murian OOPArts) are able to affect spiritual beings. I accept constructive criticism, not one-sided wanking debates from fandom.

Now that I think about it, was Olympian technology always magical or did it only gain supernatural properties after being worshipped? That is food for thought. Heck, the Spiritron computers are very much Clark's Third Law so I'm not clear on that.

Also, translating Model Z in Servant terms, physically, it can be compared to low-ranking Servants, who are at minimum superior than 10 peak humans, which is impressive on its own however, skillswise, Zero has the potential to go toe to toe with mid-rank Servants and the lower scale of high-ranks. Maybe, possibly, Zero could survive the OP powerhouses of the rest of high-rank Servants as long as there is a piece of him. He's incapable of dying. And this is with Elf Wars and Neo Arcadia era Zero. If he were in his original body, his physical stats would be mid-rank Servant at least, giving him more possibilities to go out or survive against high-rank Servants or other powerful supernatural beings.

A more apt comparison would be a cybernetic EMIYA or Okita. Now I remember there's a cyborg version of Okita in a swimsuit. Should I add the (questionable) tech savviness of the Saber Wars/Servant Universe Servants to amp the Science Fantasy feels as well as comedy?

Of course, Ritsuka will be at the helm most of the time, so it will be some time before she can be an equal to more powerful or battle hardened Servants due to her inexperience. Though she would have Zero and other Servants to teach her.

To rub more salt to the wound, Geo and EXE(Lan too if Cross Fused) at full power (like Tribe King or Finalized Noise) can take on the likes of Beasts, Gods and Sefar (unless conceptual bullshit hax is involved which everyone knows is absolutely broken depending on context). Don't know about TYPES and Outer Gods… though Geo did beat up the incarnation of a super massive black hole as well as other planet busters, so maybe. And EXE could be nearly (emphasis in nearly) invincible with Perfect Full Synchro, and Beast Out in the Moon Cell as long as SERAPH or BB don't realize too soon his record in dealing with network destroying/data absorbing monstrosities. And if we count the Mega and Giga cards/chips of their incredibly huge arsenals as canon... And they were younger than Ritsuka when they began their world saving careers. Ritsuka may need to work a lot to fulfill the legacy of not only Heroic Spirits but of the Blue Bombers themselves too.

Now, we go on to the newest Megaman journey through time and space!

P.S.: As a player of the Z/ZX Legacy Collection who's beginning the Zero games, should I freely use the Cyber-elves in my first playthrough or not? How much would they affect my rank? And should I have the highest rank possible when the bosses are killing me hundreds of times over? When will Europeans have a PAL server for F/GO?

P.S.S. (29-9-2022): Ignore the P.S.

"Urgh…" Ritsuka groaned. Slowly, she got up, vision still blurry. "My head hurts. Eh?"

When she tried to rub her head, she felt something solid around it. "A helmet?"

It didn't look like it had a harness despite being firmly locked in her head. If there was something that could take it out.

Nevermind, it came out with no further trouble.

Ritsuka examined the helmet: it was black with red fins on top and white protrusions at the sides as well as a green crystal at the front. Strangely enough, there was a mane of artificial blonde hair protruding from the back.

Ritsuka blinked. She recognized that helmet.

She also took note of her somehow gloved hands and the rest of her body: a black bodysuit, red armlets and boots, red vest…

She also recognized that suit.

And now she took in her surroundings: a ruined city that looked as if Hell itself decided to physically manifest there.

Annnnnd she didn't recognize the city, neither wanted to know what happened there.

"... I am in a burning city..." She let out blankly "... dressed in a cosplay of my own character." She sighed "I must be dreaming."

"I assure you you're not dreaming."

Ritsuka cried in surprise at the sudden voice and dropped the helmet.

"And please, take more care of my helmet, it's literally a part of me after all."

"The hell?!" Ritsuka cried incredulously. "Who are you? What do you mean it's your helmet? And why do you sound like you're in my head?!"

The voice seemed to sigh. "I think I should have stuck with Vent and Aile. They weren't so noisy. Even Axl wasn't that whiny." He paused. "No. Wait. Axl was worse at the beginning."

"I… am sorry?" Ritsuka sweatdropped in confusion. "Look I don't know what's been happening here so it's normal that I'm panicking! And I am not whiny!" she exclaimed confusedly, though somehow she was having some gut feeling about the voice's identity. Especially when Axl also appeared in her dreams of Zero.

"That's true. Very well. If you want a partial explanation to all this madness…"

There was a flash of light, making the armor disappear, even the dropped helmet, and leaving Ritsuka with her previous white uniform as well as her lucky charm, which was floating in front of her, eyes and crystal glowing.

"I am Biometal Model Z, or as you would know from my past life, you can call me Zero."

Ritsuka was at first unresponsive, though her face quickly morphed into surprise, then incredulousness and finally a slack jaw ready to shout to the four winds.

"UHHHHHHHHHH?!"

Fate: Zero Order

"So, what you're telling is that you're the remains of Zero, both in mind and body, scavenged from the scraps of the doomsday satellite that ended your life, and then forged into a transformation trinket, reverse engineered from said doomsday scraps that got possessed by a mad scientist's evil soul, and then you sacrificed yourself, again, to save your friends from enemy Biometal users, who allied themselves from yet another mad scientist that made a giant air fortress from all the Model W fragments, said Weil's possessed pieces of Ragnarok, all while spewing nonsense bullshit about evolution?"

"Uh, I wouldn't exactly put it like that but yeah."

Ritsuka sighed, rubbing her forehead to try to alleviate a possible headache.

"I don't think I can completely believe it all…"

"Didn't you just discover magic and time travel exist?"

"Oh yeah, that."

Ritsuka's eyes widened. "Wait a minute. Were you the reason I had those dreams? About you, Zero, as well as X, Axl and the other Reploids?"

Zero hummed. "Apparently, when you took me in, somehow our bond made it so that you experienced my memories in your sleep."

"And why didn't you tell me anything in all those years?" That was a good question that she wanted answered.

"You remember when you found me at that junkyard?"

Ritsuka nodded. "Yeah, somehow I don't remember how I got out." While she was scolded at that time for going to such dangerous place, she of course didn't tell that she was trapped at one moment and the next, poof, out of the place!

"Well, actually, it was me. Somehow, you were compatible with me so I forced a Megamerge for the both of us to escape. Unfortunately, I was low on energy, so I deactivated soon and you probably collapsed from the shock. It was that emergency Spiritron Dive that brought me out of hibernation and made it possible to fuse with you again."

"Uh, that makes sense." Ritsuka reasoned though an alarming memory made it back to her head. "Wait, Zero! Do you know what happened to Mash?!" Ritsuka's worry for the gravely hurt girl made her nearly panic.

"I… don't know." Model Z or Zero said remorsefully. "Though if I were to guess, she was also transported here alongside us."

"Then…" Ritsuka remembered how Mash was crushed by a giant block of debris. "She would be dying right now. We need to find her!"

"Not if they kill us first." Zero pointed across the street.

There were a bunch of skeletal humanoids, armed with ancient weapons like swords, shields, spears and bows. And they didn't look very friendly with those.

"Do you remember all those tokusatsu shows and fanfics? Because I think I can help you live in one."

Ritsuka let out a sigh "I think I liked when you were an amnesiac. But you're right." Her eyes were resolute. "I also think I would need to don your armor once again, Zero." She gulped, concern for Mash put away to make room for more immediate needs.

Zero floated closer to her "Then you know what to do." It wasn't a question.

"Yeah."

[Determined Eyes - Megaman ZX Advent]

Catching Model Z with her right hand, she crossed her arms like if she were a toku hero, then extended her right arm towards the sky, as if calling upon the heavens for power.

"MEGAMERGE!"

A column of light emerged with force, making the wind agitated. Inside the light, Ritsuka's body was undergoing a drastic change. At a near molecular scale, her body was partially transformed into that of a machine, increasing her stamina, resilience, strength and agility to superhuman levels.

A bodysuit formed around her, seemingly vaporizing her uniform into data. Data currents formed around her extremities, forming red metallic bracelets and boots. More leg armor, this time white, also formed, as well as black upper body armor that hides below a red vest, possibly furthering protection.

A helmet, the same design she and Zero had, materialized on her head, most of the data going to the jewel, initializing its systems in the light of green circuits. A mane of artificial blonde hair sprouted from its back, flowing proudly.

To finish, the last strands combined into a handle: the Z-Saber. The legendary plasma sword that accompanied Zero and his predecessors through their battles and with the capability to transform into a Buster thanks to data from the Model ZX biodata.

The being that results in is no longer human but neither is bound by the laws of machines.

She is a new type of lifeform. She is Megaman.

Once the light vanished, she promptly ran towards the skeletal warriors with speeds that would leave Olympic athletes as obsolete. Blade of light flashing through, the skeletons were cut swiftly. Not even their enchanted weapons and armor offered protection against an extremely hot plasma blade. Not that they were worth much.

In the blink of an eye, Ritsuka just massacred the skeleton warriors, panting from the adrenaline, not of tiredness.

"That… was amazing!" Ritsuka exclaimed.

"Don't be cocky, remember that we're in enemy territory. And without experience or training, anime fighting and instincts can only take you so far, unlike tokusatsu."

"Uh, sorry?" Ritsuka sweatdropped.

*sigh* "Don't worry too much about it. You'll learn on the way and I will help you in case things get dicey."

"Sir, yes sir!" Ritsuka giggled while the Biometal sighed again "At least with your powers I can defend myself and I bet that I, I mean we, will find Mash!"

"Heh. I admire your determination. Never lose sight of it."

"Yeah… uh?" Ritsuka noticed some light flying through the sky towards her position.

Zero, whose instincts were refined through centuries of combat, predicted what that could only mean.

"Ritsuka, RUN!" He ordered.

Not even a second after, the light revealed itself to be a literal rain of arrows pouncing towards the unprepared Megaman!

With increased reflexes and speed, Ritsuka shot herself away from the point of impact with Zero taking over the Dash systems for increased evasion. Unfortunately, they underestimated the expansive wave created by a constant bombardment of mystical explosive arrows, making Ritsuka nearly fly in the air and making her lose her balance, ending up in her being ragdolled towards the ground.

Thankfully, the combination of bionic endurance, Ceratanium-grade armor and energy shields reduced the amount of damage Ritsuka's body suffered, though it still hurt.

When she was about to stand up, more arrows were already coming, not only towards her but also aimed to block her escape routes. She couldn't do anything but brace herself when another figure came to her front, carrying a huge shield which she used to block the impossible amount of supernatural arrows.

When the resulting smoke dissipated, it revealed a huge crater, with only the center being an intact platform.

Once they made sure that no more carpet bombing would be happening, the Megaman and the Shielder looked towards each other, surprise dawning on each other.

""Mash/Senpai, what are you wearing?!""

"... oh, boy."
