Another Chapter! Enjoy

Jun sat at the table, beaten and tired. He eye was swollen and lip busted. She had no defenses and she just wanted to talk and tell the truth and get it off her chest.

"Cho is dead because I murdered her. Now she was not an angel but I did kill her." She sighed as she sat back in her chair. It was as if she said the words, the weight of the world was off her shoulders.

Kyoraku looked at her. He knew that Lisa did a good job in breaking her down. He knew Jun knew that she would not see anyone ever again. He looked back over his shoulder and nodded. He knew Lisa and Byakuya were looking on and that Lisa had a slight smile on her face. He turned back to Jun and continued.

"I guess there is more to her being dead and you taking her place than what we all know?"

Jun smiled and nodded. She saw Kyoraku nod to let everyone know that now we are recording all questions and answers.

"Let's began," Kyoraku said, "First question, why is Cho Abarai murdered?"

"Cho was murdered because she became a very dangerous person. She wanted to kill her mother and pimp Gina out to the highest bidder," Jun stopped. She looked at Kyoraku and sighed. "She had already killed the Tosen's and her husband. Gina didn't trust her and Renji was caught in the middle but he always sided with his sister." Jun was exhausted but she waited on the next question.

Kyoraku asked the next questions as he kept his eye on her. The sleep deprivation started to take its toll on her. Still they proceeded. "What was the relationship between you and Cho?"

"Cho and I were comrades. We were hired to infiltrate the Aizen Corporation to get the formula for the vaccine. I got a job as a nanny for Sosuke in the home. Cho got a job in the executive administration department. That is where she met," she stopped. Jun placed her face in her hands and started to cry.

Kyoraku interest was piqued by her reaction. He stood and told Love and Rose to stand guard as he walked out the room. He walked into another room so that he could have privacy. Kyoraku pulled out his phone and call, Gin's grandmother.

"Hello," a soft voice said.

"Hello, Ms. Ichimaru, this is Kyoraku. May I have a question?"

Kyoraku asked about Gina and his granddaughter and also about Rukia. When he was satisfied with family business. He continued the conversation.

"Ms. Ichimaru, can you tell me about Gina's father? And about Gina?"

She told Kyoraku Cho brought Gina home with the father when Gina was about two years old. "I did not know that Cho was pregnant. After being gone for three years, she shows up with a husband and a baby. She told me that they were moving close because she was pregnant with another child."

"So you went through the pregnancy of Renji but not Gina?"

"Yes," she stated, "Gina was definitely her daddy's little girl. She never really was close to Cho. She was closer to me than her but," she stopped.

"What changed?" Kyoraku asked

"About a year before Gina went undercover, she and Cho got close. I remember Gina telling me that she felt that her mother change. She said she felt that her mother's heart had 'changed'."

Kyoraku paused when he heard a baby crying in the back ground. He knew that was the end of the conversation. "I hear my granddaughter wanting some attention. Thanks you for your time.

Ms. Ichimaru stated she was glad to help. "Anything for Gina," she said as she hung up.

Kyoraku hung up his phone as he got his thought s together. Although complicated, he thinks he knows that the truth is about to come out.

Kyoraku stepped back into the room with a folder in his hand. Jun had laid her head down on the table but jumped as the door opened. He sat across from Jun again.

"Jun, when did you kill Cho?"

She slowly took a deep breath and looked at Kyoraku. She swallowed hard because Kyoraku knew her secret. He stared at her waiting for her to answer. She did not answer.

"How well did you know Gina's father?" Kyoraku kept talking to Jun. "You know that in a few hours you will be going away and let us know your side of the story. You must tell us, Jun."

Jun started to cry as she did not want to talk. Byakuya looked at his mentor and teacher and wondered where he was going with the interview. He knew Kyoraku knew Jun's secret. He looked back at Ichigo who made sure his recordings were correct because he did not want to lose any of the conversation. Byakuya turned back to the scene in the interview room. Kyoraku was still pushing Jun.

"Tell me Jun, when did you kill Cho?" he pounded on the desk.

Jun yelled out, "About three years ago," she started to cry, "About three years ago."

Kyoraku did not let up. "You did not answer my other question, how well did you know Gina's father?"

"Please stop," she pleaded, "please stop." She began to cry out loud.

Kyoraku repeated the question but pushed harder. He stood up and leaned in front of Jun. "How well did you know Gina's father?"

"I loved him!" she yelled. "I loved him."

There was silence for about a minute before she began to explain.

"Cho never loved him but I did. We loved each other but Cho," Jun started to talk more freely as the smile crept across her face. "Cho took everything from me. She took my life, she took him, and she took," Jun suddenly stopped.

Kyoraku looked at Jun and decided to push. "What else did Cho take?" he said as he slid a folder across the table. He opened the folder and smiled. "Did she take this away from you?"

She began to cry and she looked at the picture. Kyoraku stood as he spoke again. "Did she take your child from you?"

Jun nodded as she picked up the picture and tried to smile. She forgot Kyoraku was interrogating her. The picture was of a baby girl. "She was so beautiful," Jun said as she kept touching the picture.

Kyoraku placed his hand on the picture to get her attention. "Jun, you have to tell me everything so that we can protect your child. You can help protect your daughter, Gina."
