Our third day was meant to have a big training exercise in our hero class, so I was hoping that would get my mind off of yesterday.

Mom had tried asking about my soulbands again at breakfast, and I had snapped that they were making things difficult. Quickly realizing what I had done, I apologized profusely then rushed out the door to get to school.

I avoided the subject of my incident yesterday, and I avoided being around the two guys that were eyeing me throughout the morning. At lunch, I even decided to sit with Midoriya, Ida, and Uraraka. After lunch, though, I was eager to figure out what we were doing for our training today, excited for the distraction.

"Now, for today's basic hero training… All Might, myself, and one other pro will supervise," Mr. Aizawa announced to us as we all sat at the edge of our seats.

Sero stuck his hand up in the air, "Um, what're we doing, exactly?"

Our teacher held up a card with the word 'Rescue' printed across it. "Preparing you for disaster relief."

Kaminari's voice floated up from his spot back in the classroom. "Rescue, huh? Sounds like another rough day."

I looked back at him and Mina as she agreed, though she sounded excited about it.

"Come on, this is what being a hero's all about! I'm so pumped!" Kirishima said clenching a fist in the air in front of him with a giant grin. My heart melted as I watched before I turned back to the front with a sigh.

Mr. Aizawa's eye twitched as he said, "I'm not done." Everyone's attention turned back to our teacher. "It's up to each of you whether or not you wear your costumes, as some of them are ill-suited for this sort of activity. Also, the training site is a bit remote, so we'll be going by bus. Now I'm done." He pressed the button to open the walls with our costume cases in them.

As everyone got up to get their cases, I waited patiently in my seat. I was surprised by a rough but quiet voice in my ear. "Wait at the gate after class."

With wide eyes and bright pink cheeks, I nodded before hearing his chair scuff across the floor as he stood to get his own case. I couldn't stop my eyes from locking onto his left hand, only to see his ring finger looking red around each colored band. That's when I remembered, contact is what this bond requires, whether it's physical contact or simply speaking to the soulmate. Romantic relationships aren't really required of these bonds, the people could simply become good friends, so maybe that's what should happen with us. Honestly, I didn't like to think of that as an option even though I didn't really know how to think of being in a relationship either.

I pulled my bottom lip between my teeth, biting down slightly as my brows furrowed in worry. I had been purposely avoiding him for days, and now was avoiding Kirishima also.

Without thinking, my right hand reached over to my left and started rubbing at my ring finger which was also irritated and red. What I didn't notice while I was stuck in my thoughts was Bakugo froze for a second as he grabbed his case, and Kirishima whipped his head around confused only for his eyes to land on me. Making his way over, he crouched down in front of my desk and put a hand over mine, stopping my fidgeting. "Everything ok?"

"Hm? Oh," my cheeks flushed red, "Yeah, I just…I'm sorry for avoiding you. I got really overwhelmed yesterday, and reacted badly…" I trailed off glancing up at Bakugo as he left the room.

Kirishima smiled at me then stood up, motioning for me to join him. "Come on, we need to get our stuff so we can look manly for this training!"

Hearing him change the subject and seeing his grin told me that he was already over it, which I was so relieved about. "Yeah, let's go."

.

.

After everyone changed into their costumes, we met up outside to wait for the bus. Mina had dragged me to sit with her, ending up with Kaminari on my other side. Everyone was chatting as the bus started moving, but Tsu's voice cut through the quiet chatter, "I want to say what's on my mind. Midoriya,"

Midoriya jumped then turned to her. "What is it, Asui?"

"It's Tsu," She corrected calmly, already used to him by now, "And what I was going to say was your quirk really seems to resemble All Might's."

I snorted as Midoriya comically jumped. "R-R-Really? No, it's… I mean…"

"Nah, All Might doesn't get hurt every time he uses his quirk. They're really different in that way. That strength-enhancing quirk is totally awesome, though! You can do a lot of cool stuff with it," Kirishima interrupted, then looked down at his hands, lifting one before making it and his forearm harden. "It's not like my hardening. I'm good in a fight, I guess, but it's also really boring."

Midoriya brightened. "I think it's pretty neat, though!"

"It really is a versatile quirk. You could easily use it for offensive or defensive. It's great for someone to go pro with," I added, hating that he was putting himself down like that, though I was blushing a little at the attention. Said blush deepened as Kirishima sent me a bright, sharp-toothed smile.

Kaminari joined the conversation now, "You wanna talk about strong and cool? That'd be Todoroki and Bakugo. They have some crazy good quirks."

The guys nodded, but Tsu just stared. "But Bakugo's so unhinged, though, he'd never be popular with fans."

My brows pulled together in slight frustration. "That's not-"

"WHAT'D YOU SAY FROG-FACE?!" said blonde shouted as he started to climb over the railing in front of his seat.

Kirishima looked over at him with a nervous smile while I face-palmed, and Tsu simply motioned to him as he proved her point.

"We've only barely started socializing and you've made it abundantly clear to us the unpleasantness of your steamed turd of a personality," Kaminari said with a smirk, obviously trying to get a rise out of Bakugo.

It worked wonderfully.

"YEAH?! OK, MR. VOCABULARY. HOW ABOUT I POUND THAT SHIT OUT OF YOU?!" Bakugo was raging at this point, and some of the others were laughing.

I had been trying to keep from laughing, but with this situation, I couldn't help myself anymore. It started as a small chuckle that I was desperately trying to keep to myself when Tsu motioned to him, then it quickly evolved into full-on laughter with my soulmate's reaction to our electric-powered friend. Kirishima was smiling warmly at me, as well, but my favorite reaction had to be the feisty teen's. His eyes were wide, lips slightly parted in surprise for just a moment before he grumbled about 'not having to take other people's shit', then he thumped back in his seat, whipping his gaze away and out the window as he covered his mouth with his hand. I also noticed that his bands weren't as irritated looking as they had been, which kept that smile on my lips.

"We're here. Look sharp." Mr. Aizawa's voice cut through our noise, reminding us that he was there as we arrived by a large dome-like building.

As we filed into the building, though, we were mostly in awe. This place was huge and really cool looking!

"There's the flood zone, landslide zone, conflagration zone, and more. Every disaster and accident you can imagine. I built this facility myself. I call it…The 'Unforeseen Simulation Joint'!" As the voice spoke, we all looked to see what looked to be an astronaut standing in front of us.

"It's the Space Hero, Thirteen!" Midoriya cheered as he started geeking out, and to our surprise, Uraraka joined him this time.

Mr. Aizawa shuffled up to Thirteen with his hands in his pockets. "Thirteen, where's All Might? I thought he was meeting us here with that kid."

Thirteen replied too quietly for us to hear while holding up three fingers for some reason. "The girl he was supposed to bring from the school was sent here before you, though, she's just over there." The space hero motioned to our right, and I peered around Kaminari to see that there was in fact a girl leaning her hip on the railing overlooking the training area.

Mr. Aizawa sighed, "Oh joy, another trouble-child."

"Miss, if you would come over, and introduce yourself. This will be your class for the year." Thirteen announced, making murmurs ripple through the group.

"Someone joining in late?" Mina mumbled from beside me. I shrugged.

The new girl had turned around at Thirteen's call, standing and sauntering over to us, exuding confidence with every step. She was about my height, maybe around 5'4", with pale skin and a slightly curvy build, shoulder-length crimson hair that seemed familiar somehow, a few piercings in each ear, and grayish-brown eyes that looked as if they could cut through your soul. When she had joined us, however, was when the weirdness started.

Her eyes scanned across the class before landing on someone. At the sight of Todoroki – who honestly looked like he had seen a ghost – her eyes lit up with unbridled excitement. "Shoto!" the girl then bolted across and threw herself at him. It took a second but much to our disbelief, Todoroki returned the affection.

"This is Yukime Todoroki, she is your new classmate - who would have been in class sooner had she not gotten into trouble." Mr. Aizawa informed us, a ghost of a smile on his face for a moment.

The female Todoroki groaned, letting go of her brother, which was somehow odd to think about for some reason. "You get caught defending someone from a scumbag one time, then suddenly you're the bad guy. Honestly," She said rolling her eyes lazily.

Mr. Aizawa's eyes narrowed, "That should have been left to the pros, and you know that."

She clamped her mouth shut, knowing she was getting nowhere with this conversation. Her eyes suddenly connected with mine, and she smiled slightly.

Thirteen started explaining some details of how we should use our powers for helping instead of hurting, and I couldn't help but completely zone out while staring at the fountain down below. I kind of just want to explore through the different areas to see how cool they look up close. While I was wondering about the temperature in the flood zone, though, I happened to notice a strange mist start gathering by the fountain I was staring at.

"That doesn't look normal…" I mumbled, but Mr. Aizawa heard and followed my gaze. As the mist grew, a hand started to reach out from the darkness, quickly followed by a head that was covered by a disembodied hand.

Hearing a curse escape Mr. Aizawa immediately set me on edge. My eyes darted up to him only to see him tense and worried. "Huddle up and don't move!"

The rest of the class was confused, though some of them were looking down at the now large mass of purple mist that had multiple people crawling out from it.

"Thirteen, protect the students!" Mr. Aizawa called out as he turned like he was going to start down the steps, only to be stopped by my hand instinctively reaching out and grabbing his. He turned to look at me with a conflicted expression. "You all stay here!" Mr. Aizawa announced before turning his attention back to me. "I have to protect the class, Hana."

I bit my bottom lip hard to keep myself from saying anything, barely managing a nod as I let his wrist slide from my grip. At that he turned back around, pulling his goggles on, and letting his capture weapon loose to hover around him. My mind refused to focus on anything past my worry, and I vaguely heard my classmates talking about the situation behind me. I could feel myself starting to become an anxious mess until a hand rested on top of my shoulder. Turning I saw the female Todoroki, glaring down at the villains, but the pressure from just her understanding hand was enough to keep me afloat for now.

"Thirteen, begin evacuation, and try calling the school! Kaminari! Try using your quirk to signal for help, too." Mr. Aizawa barked as he assessed the situation below us.

Midoriya gasped as he noticed our teacher readying himself for a fight. "But, sir, you can't fight them all alone! There are so many of them, you wouldn't be able to nullify all of their quirks at once!"

Whirling around I fixed the green-haired boy with a deep glare that made him flinch. "Don't you dare doubt him."

"No good hero is a one-trick pony," Mr. Aizawa stated before charging off to the group below. He was immediately in action, capture weapon wrapping around villains as he canceled quirks within sight, then slamming them into the ground or each other. My heart stopped for a second as a huge guy with multiple arms reared up at him, only for our teacher to land a solid punch to the guy's face. While still worried, I was beyond proud and excited to actually get to see him in action.

Midoriya was speechless for a moment, then gasped, "W-wow! He can hold his own even when out-numbered."

"Now is not the time for analysis! Hurry and evacuate!" Ida yelled at Midoriya as he tried to wrangle the rest of the class to the doors.

Just then, the purple mass appeared between Thirteen and the exit, making my blood run cold. "I won't allow any running away."

Our eyes were all glued to the strange yellow slits that were apparently eyes forming in the mist. "Greetings, we are the League of Villains. Forgive our intrusion, but today we've come here to U.A. to end the life of The Symbol of Peace," He paused, seemingly looking around, "We were under the impression that he would be here today, but it seems his schedule was revised? No matter, my role remains unchanged."

'What on earth is this…man? And what does he mean about their goal being ending All Might?!' I was snapped from my thoughts as Kirishima and Bakugo launched themselves at the villain, poised for releasing attacks. Bakugo's explosion caused some smoke to fill the air, and Kirishima raised a hardened arm, shouting into the smoke, "Not if we end you first. Betcha didn't see that coming!"

Seeing the mass form back together, completely unscathed, my stomach plummeted. "My, that was close. Students though you may be, you truly are the best of the best."

"Get out of there!" Thirteen shouted at my two stubborn soulmates.

Before anyone could really register what was happening, the purple mist was surrounding us. Some of the group were able to jump out of the way, and Todoroki female had grabbed onto my hand – not knowing the consequences – trying to escape with me. I was more interested in where my two boys were, though. Just as we all seemed to spot each other, I felt my hand slip from the other girl's while I was panicking and reaching out for them only to have everything turn black.

The next thing I knew, I was falling then felt my back slam into what I honestly thought was the ground, knocking the breath from my lungs, that is until I started sinking.

'Guess I know the water's temperature now,' I thought bitterly. My spine stung like crazy, but I desperately dug at the water in an attempt to reach the surface. What little air I had left was bubbled out of me as I felt something hard slam into my side.

'Shit…This is not good. Am I going to drown?!' Opening one eye, I saw a dark, blurry shape coming closer to me as it shoved another dark shape away from it, so I weakly slapped at the second dark shape. The figure only pushed my arms away before gently grabbing onto my limp body and shooting through the water as everything again faded to black.

.

.

"Come on, Aizawa, please wake up!"

There was pressure on my chest, an ache in my side, and a massive headache building in my head. Thoughts in a jumble, my eyes shot open as I bolted upright, only to slam my forehead into Midoriya's.

"Ow, shit!" I tried to move my hands to cover my poor head only to feel them stick to the…whatever I was laying on. Looking down, I noticed two things, 1) we were apparently on a boat, and 2) my hands and a bit of the flooring were covered in a layer of ice, which is why I couldn't move as easily as normal. Yanking my arms free, I looked to the other two, Midoriya and Tsu. "What's going on? Where are we?"

"We're in the Flood Zone." Tsu replied, "Midoriya and I have been trying to think of a way out without running into the villains surrounding us."

Midoriya nodded solemnly along with her and rubbed at his head, before looking out across the water over at the rest of the zones with determination. "I think it's obvious…we have to fight."

I looked down at my frosted hands, "I think I copied the new Todoroki's quirk. I'm not sure how to use it really other than what comes across instinctively. I could try freezing them…they would need to be grouped up close together, though, so I don't overdo it. I've only got like…three minutes tops at this point."

Speaking of our audience in the water, they seemed to have lost patience in waiting for us to come out, and one of them sliced the boat in two. What they weren't expecting was our spur-of-the-moment plan.

Midoriya jumped over the railing, pulled one finger back before flicking the air with his quirk-powered strength, which shot the air into the water before creating a whirlpool, quickly sucking the villains in.

Our next step was initiated by me. Nervous but determined, I stood just outside of the railing – hoping not to be forced backward – lifted both hands, and honestly…prayed this worked. My arms went numb as the freezing-cold energy crackled down them, before shooting directly at the whirlpool, freezing all of the villains into an amazingly huge iceberg. As the energy left my arms, I felt ice crawl up my skin, and I cried out in pain. "Fuck that hurts!"

"We can worry about that later, ribbit." Tsu then grabbed onto me, launched us out over the water, and used her tongue to grab up Midoriya as we soared through the air. "Good job you two. Now, relax before we land in the water."

I glanced down, remembering how hard I hit when I got here. "Aye-aye, Captain," I commented while still cradling my arms.

Shortly after my comment, we splashed into the water, Tsu swimming us towards the shoreline. Once on dry land again, I stood and attempted to scrape the now mostly thawed ice pieces off of myself while grimacing at the dark red spots that remained.

"You alright, Aizawa?" Midoriya asked nervously from beside me.

"Please, just call me Hana," I sighed, giving him a weak smile, "and I'm alright. The water helped to get rid of the ice before it did any real damage to me."

"What do we do now?" Tsu asked looking at the two of us.

Midoriya turned to her, "Right now, I think calling for help is still the top priority. If possible, we should follow the shoreline and make for the exit, avoiding the plaza completely."

Tsu nodded. "I agree. It looks like Mr. Aizawa is drawing a large number of them to the plaza- oh," She looked at me as she realized her mistake, she drew my attention back to my dad.

Midoriya didn't notice, however, and kept talking, "There's too many of them. Of course, he's holding his own out there, but…It has to be too much for him! He knew that and still jumped in…"

Tsu gasped as she saw me take off away from them, "Midoriya!"

"Ah!" He finally noticed me, but it was too late for him to stop me.

I was faster than I looked, and I was done observing. I'll figure out which quirk would help the best from a distance, borrow it, and make sure my dad wouldn't be seriously hurt. At least…that was my plan.

When I reached the plaza area, though, pretty much every villain was down, meaning I would have no way to know what quirk I could copy, which was very dangerous. I looked up to see Mr. Aizawa fighting with the guy that had hands on him, and honestly, it looked to be in my teacher's favor. The hand-guy wasn't really fighting back, almost like he didn't know how. Mr. Aizawa landed a sudden hit to the guy's stomach, starting to push him back, and I crouched nearby in hiding.

A raspy voice broke through the air as they stilled from the impact. "It's hard to tell when you're scampering around, but…there are moments when your hair falls in front of your eyes."

My heart stuttered, realizing that he had figured out the tell pretty fast, admittedly it wasn't really hard to figure out, though. He was right about Mr. Aizawa's fighting style. He tried to move in a way that made it harder for enemies to tell if his hair was simply shifting from his movement or from his quirk, but sometimes it just couldn't be hidden.

"And your max duration's getting shorter, too!" Hand guy suddenly put his hand to Mr. Aizawa's elbow that was still against him, a sickening crumbling sound meeting my ears.

"Wha-?" I barely whispered before I clamped my hands over my mouth. His skin was disintegrating!

Quickly reacting, Mr. Aizawa punched him away with his left hand before jumping backward, then dodging sudden attacks from new villains that joined the fray.

Hand guy slowly stood back up, laughing dryly. "You're not one for long, drawn-out battles, especially with this many opponents. Yet…you jumped right into this fight. Hoping to make the kids feel safe? Oh, so cool! By the way, hero…I'm not the final boss here." He started laughing as some sort of mutated thing appeared, slamming Mr. Aizawa into the ground, holding him down with one hand while the other held onto his other arm.

My eyes were wide as I almost silently sobbed into my hands feeling helpless.

"Meet my Nomu." Hand guy giggled disgustingly.

Collapsed Zone

...

While fights were going on all over the USJ, Bakugo and Kirishima were tiredly dropping their last opponents to the floor in the heavily damaged building they were in.

"That's all of them...buncha extras," Bakugo growled as Kirishima sighed from behind him.

"Great, now let's hurry and go help the others!" he huffed slightly tired. "If we're here, I bet everyone else is still in the USJ. I'm worried about the guys that don't really have ways to attack!"

Bakugo grumbled under his breath, "Like the Copy Cat."

"She has a name you know," Kirishima rolled his eyes with another sigh, but he caved after a pointed look from Bakugo. "Ok yes, I'm worried about her. Thirteen would have probably been able to suck up that mist man if we hadn't got in the way. As men, we gotta take responsibility."

"I'm gonna go beat that warp-gate guy to a pulp!" Bakugo stated matter-of-factly making the red-haired teen look at him in exasperation.

"Still pulling that immature crap at a time like this? Thought you'd know normal attacks won't work on that guy from earlier, man."

"Shut up!" the hothead shouted. "He's how they're getting around. Bring him down, and they have nowhere to run! It's not like I don't have a plan to beat him!"

"Yes, keep chatting and letting your guard down!" a scratchy voice interrupted, only for the chameleon-looking man to get quickly caught then slammed into the floor with an explosion to the back of his head.

"I mean…" Bakugo continued as if nothing happened, his face calm and slightly thoughtful, "if all they're sending against us are these idiots, we should be fine."

Kirishima's face turned red as he watched his soulmate react to the attempted sneak attack, and the almost soft look on his face was drastically different from what he had seen so far. 'Man, that was hot.' "You-you're sure calm all of the sudden…"

This time it was Bakugo who turned a little red, before shouting "I'm always calm, you damned idiot!" flipping him off, though it didn't seem like it was with his full frustration. "Ugh. I'm outta here."

Kirishima reached out and grabbed onto Bakugo's arm. "We need to find Aizawa, first."

The boys made eye contact, the world swirling to a stop for a second before Bakugo huffed, breaking eye contact. "She can handle herself. Don't fucking worry about her." He grumbled before walking off. Leaving Kirishima to smile at his back for a moment before following.

Plaza area

(Hana POV)

...

I felt like I was going to throw up.

Midoriya and Tsu had quietly joined me only to be absolutely speechless by the sight that greeted them. Midoriya even looked white as a sheet and was trembling. Our ears were suddenly assaulted with a crunching and cracking sound as the Nomu started crushing Mr. Aizawa's arm near his already heavily damaged elbow.

"Canceling out quirks…pretty cool, but nothing special," The hand guy started monologuing as his bloodshot red eye peered out from between the fingers of the hand on his face. "Up against crazy strength, you might as well be totally quirkless."

Mr. Aizawa's head slowly shifted as he glared up at the skinny man for a moment, then the Nomu suddenly grabbed onto his left arm, proceeding to snap it. Mr. Aizawa screamed out in pain and my heart broke even more as tears poured down my cheeks. My hands were still covering my mouth as I tried not to make a sound, that is until the mutated thing grabbed his head and made a small crater in the ground with it. A loud sob escaped my hands, and I flinched.

The hand guy's eye slowly dragged over to where we were hiding. Though we weren't in his sight, he surely knew that at least one person was there.

All of us had paled, waiting in silence until we heard a weird sound almost like TV static followed by a voice. "Tomura Shigaraki…"

"Kurogiri. Is Thirteen dead?" I could only assume that was the hand guy speaking.

"He is incapacitated, but…There were some students I couldn't warp away, and one of them escaped" The warp guy, aka Kurogiri apparently, reported to Shigaraki, who started with a cold "oh" only to start laughing like a mad man.

Midoriya bravely shifted to where he could see, telling us the details of what was happening. "He looks like he's…having a nervous breakdown. He's muttering something to…Kurogiri?" the green-haired teen whispered to us.

Shigaraki groaned, "We don't stand a chance against dozens of pros. It's game over…game over, for now." He paused. "We're leaving."

Tsu and Midoriya looked at each other. "Did he just say they're leaving?" Midoriya asked shakily.

"Yeah, but…" Tsu looked back at the plaza, "I've got a bad feeling, Midoriya."

"Yeah…" Midoriya clenched his fists, "to do all this…and then just leave on a whim…"

My mind was still frozen, my dad's pained scream echoing in my mind over and over again.

Shigaraki spoke up again, chilling us all to the bone due to his voice sounding right behind us. "But before that, let's leave a few dead kids."

My two friends were suddenly deathly pale, their gazes above and behind me. As I slowly looked up, I could only see a hand reaching out for my head over the short wall surrounding the flood zone. His dry hand rested on my face before I could even react.

Silence…then Shigaraki spoke. "You really are cool…Eraserhead."

My heart leaped for a second, grateful to know my dad was at least still alive. This happiness was short-lived as I realized that my quirk wasn't working either, then Shigaraki gripped my vest with both of his hands, lifting me out from behind the wall. In my panic I flailed, instinctively trying to touch someone to borrow a quirk, even though I knew my quirk wasn't working.

"Feisty aren't you." The creepy man lifting me laughed eerily. "His erasure will only last so long. When time's up, I'll kill you right in front of him," he then tossed me over further into the plaza.

I slid to a stop directly in front of Mr. Aizawa, who heaved a strangled noise as I looked up at him desperately. "Hana…"

There was a sudden scuffle back where I had been, and Shigaraki called for the Nomu. Without hesitation, it slammed dad's face into the ground a second time, and I sobbed again scrambling over to his broken body after the Nomu disappeared.

The next thing I knew, there was a burst of air from where my friends were, and I bent over trying to withstand the blast. When the wind stopped I again turned to my dad's limp body, tears flowing freely as I didn't know what to do. He was so injured, I didn't even know where to grab to lift him that wouldn't agitate injuries.

I'm so useless. I couldn't fight back, and I couldn't even rescue him. My quirk was active now, too, I couldn't risk touching any exposed skin without making the both of us suffer after a short time of contact.

"FEAR NOT" A loud explosion followed by an equally loud voice sounded across the USJ. "FOR I AM HERE!"

A resounding shout of "All Might!" came from many different voices around me.

Shigaraki's voice made me flinch. "Ah, I've been waiting. You worthless trash."

Another gust of wind surrounded me, making me hunch over again against the strength of it. "I'm so sorry I was late, Aizawa."

My head shot up, watching All Might as he carefully started lifting his colleague. Again, I panicked, scrambling forward with my arm outstretched and a sob escaping me, "Dad!"

All Might turned to me, his brows twitching down slightly. "Miss Aizawa, I need to get you to safety." He laid my dad over his shoulder and quickly grabbed me up with his arm, careful to avoid touching my arms with his hands. He then bolted across the plaza, grabbing up Tsu and Midoriya, before stopping at the edge of the plaza closer to the entrance. "Everyone, take Mr. Aizawa to the entrance. He's unconscious, so hurry!" Midoriya and I simply stared at the pro, while Tsu nodded.

"You are fast, too fast to keep up with, but not as fast as expected." Shigaraki's voice slithered across the plaza again, but this time he sounded strangely happy. "Could it really be true…that you're getting weaker?"

At his comment, I noticed Midoriya flinch beside me, and I regarded him curiously for a moment.

All Might simply flashed us a peace sign from his current place near the Nomu, "Fear not!" He then launched into a volley of massive punches on the Nomu creature only for them to have no effect. "Seriously?"

"There's no effect because he has shock absorption," Shigaraki commented smugly. "You'd be better off ripping him apart piece by piece…not that he'll give you the chance."

"Thanks for the info, appreciate it! This'll be no sweat!" All Might bent his body backward, I guessed to slam the Nomu into the ground headfirst.

"Come on, let's get Mr. Aizawa, and get out of here," Midoriya said to Tsu, and the two scooped him up carefully, heading towards the stairs. Midoriya cast a glance back as All Might's move seemed to have connected with the ground with a loud slam and a bit of a dust cloud.

Tsu looked back, too. "Guess we were worried for nothing. He's unreal…"

I, however, saw what was actually going on since I had stayed where he left us. "No…All Might!" I cried out in disbelief at the underhanded tactics of these guys!

Kurogiri had opened a vortex in the ground, and the Nomu had a tight grip on All Might's sides, blood seeping through the hero's shirt.

"Kurogiri, I think we should close up that warp gate. Let's cut him in two!"

"Tsuyu, switch with me, take Mr. Aizawa," Midoriya said desperately.

Tsu nodded but was confused as Midoriya helped drape the man on her shoulders, sadly dragging his feet as she continued to walk to the exit.

Midoriya, on the other hand, rushed past me, shouting All Might's name as he ran.

Yet again, I was frozen. What could I do? I don't think the warp villain would let me get close enough to touch anyone, and… I looked back at Tsu as she made it to the stairs. I can't help move him either. I grit my teeth in frustration.

"Ugh, this is ridiculous! Am I going to be a hero or not?" I growled under my breath, then wheeled back around to chase after Midoriya. "Hey, you don't get to have all the fun!"

The boy glanced back at me at the wrong time, just as a warp opened right in his path.

"Ah! Midoriya!" I reached out for his arm, catching him before he passed through, but managed to grab onto his bare arm which made me feel lightheaded way quicker than usual. I yanked my hand away as I felt a massive energy rush through my veins, stumbling backward and looking down at my hands baffled. 'This is his power?! My skin feels like it's crawling with energy. How does he manage this?!'

Just then, an explosion cut through the air along with a snarling shout. "GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!"

Gasping, I looked up to see Bakugo pinning down the warp villain by some weird-looking metal collar thing around what one could guess was the guy's neck.

My eyes darted to the Nomu as ice started crawling up its side. "So, I heard you people are here to kill All Might." Todoroki calmly walked up to the scene with ice spreading from each step.

"Aizawa!" Kirishima ran up from the same direction Todoroki had come from. "Hey, you're shaking, are you ok?"

"Yeah…um, maybe?" I looked down at my hands which were in fact visibly shaking. "I accidentally copied Midoriya's quirk. This is ridiculous! There's so much energy!"

"You-you what?!" Midoriya gasped.

"How do you manage this?!" I responded frantically, "I feel like a freaking time bomb!"

Todoroki spoke to the villains again, not paying us any attention and finishing his earlier statement. "Scum like you could never kill The Symbol of Peace."

"These guys aren't all that," Bakugo growled with an entirely too excited smirk on his face.

Us three that were slightly off to the side looked over at the others, and of course, I just had to break the silence due to all the energy coursing through me. "He's enjoying this way too much," I commented with a small chuckle.

Kirishima snorted, and Bakugo rolled his eyes.

"Well, since I'm so amped up from your quirk, Midoriya," I turned to him and grinned. "How about we be heroes?"

He grinned back, though it still looked a little nervous, nodding at me. We all turned our attention to the villains, just as All Might managed to escape from the Nomu.

Shigaraki started scratching at his neck as he observed the situation. "You've pinned down our way out. Well…this is a problem…"

"You slipped up. Your limited by your quirk like everyone else, and that foggy mist stuff is hiding your actual body, am I right?!" Bakugo growled down at Kurogiri, who shifted slightly, leading to Bakugo shouting at him, "Don't fucking move! If I decide you're doing anything stupid, I'll blow you straight to hell!"

Kirishima smirked at him, "That's not very hero-like, dude."

"Today's kids really are something. Our league of villains should be ashamed." Shigaraki huffed. "Nomu, kill the explosive brat. We need our escape route back."

At his order, the Nomu started moving, proceeding to break the totally frozen half of his body off, and we all gaped.

"What the-?" All Might gasped this time. We watched in horror as the thing started to regenerate the previously missing parts of its body. I gagged at the disgusting sight of the muscles twining back together before the skin crawled over them. "I thought his quirk was shock absorption?"

The hand villain laughed. "That wasn't the only thing it could do! This is Hyper Regeneration. Nomu is a super-powered living sandbag designed to withstand everything you've got." He explained as the thing launched a massive attack towards Bakugo.

"NO!" I shouted and went to lunge forward, having had more than enough of the people I care about being hurt, but we were all were forced to close our eyes and turn away at the force of the blast.

"Kacchan?!" At the green-haired boy's voice, I turned to see Bakugo sitting on the ground between me and Midoriya looking shocked. Midoriya, of course, freaked in his typical fashion, "You dodged that?!"

Breathlessly, the blonde teen griped, "I didn't do anything, shut up, Deku."

"Then…" we looked up to see All Might standing at the center of the attack's damage trail.

"Oh-ho. Anything to save a comrade right? Just like earlier when the plain one came at me with everything he had...but violence in the name of saving others is admirable? Isn't it, hero?" Shigaraki chuckled evilly. "You know what, All Might, that really pisses me off! Heroes and villains both thrive on violence, but we're still categorized. You're deemed good, while others are deemed evil. That's how it is! You're just a tool for violence, and violence only breeds more violence!"

"Then this will make a lot of motherfucking sense to you!" a female voice shouted as a large chunk of ice flew across the plaza, Shigaraki narrowly dodging it. Female Todoroki slid across the dirt on an ice trail with a feral grin to rival Bakugo's. "What's up, danger."

Kirishima stared with an awed smile. "So manly!" I literally could not stop my head from shaking slightly at his antics, though I smiled along with him.

"Idealistic criminals have a different sort of fire in their eyes," All Might said glaring at Shigaraki, "but you're just enjoying this, you liar."

Seeing the sick smirk on the villain's face made me cringe.

"It's three on seven." Male Todoroki noted as his sister stood by his side.

Midoriya nodded, "But Kacchan showed us the mist man's weak point!"

"These guys are really brutal, but with all of us supporting All Might…We can for sure beat 'em back!" Kirishima tried to help build everyone's confidence as he slammed his hardened fists together.

Still feeling the ridiculous amount of energy coursing through me, I readied myself for a fight only for All Might to hold his arm out, telling us to get out of here.

"Things wouldn't have gone so well for you if I hadn't just stepped in." Male Todoroki stated, and I made a mental note to ask his sister and him for their first names later. I keep forgetting his.

Midoriya entered the argument, "All Might you're bleeding…and I think your time's…"

"You've got me there, young Todoroki! So thank you! But fear not! Sit back and watch a pro get serious!" All Might interrupted Midoriya, this time.

Shigaraki spoke again, "Nomu, Kurogiri, take him out. I'll handle the kids."

As the villains launched into their attacks toward us while we stood in defiant defense, All Might suddenly attacked the Nomu rapidly, and full force this time. "A hero's always ready to smash through trouble! Tell me, villain, do you know the true meaning of…PLUS ULTRA!" All Might shouted as he landed one final punch on the Nomu, sending the monster flying through the roof.

"And. he's. gone!" Female Todoroki cheered throwing her arms in the air, "Home run~!"

I snorted at her joke and she gave me a smug grin.

A tired-looking and bloody All Might stepped toward Shigaraki. "Well then, villain, how about we hurry up and finish this?"

The scratching started again as Shigaraki's one visible eye started to bug out. "Y-you cheated! How dare you do that to my Nomu! He's not weak at all! They lied to me!"

As the villain started to unravel, All Might seemed to be losing steam…literally. I looked over at him confused, and Midoriya followed my gaze before starting to panic for some reason.

"Hey, since All Might took care of that Nomu thing, maybe we should get out of here," Kirishima suggested. "At this point, we're really in the way instead of being back up."

I considered it for a second, but then I noticed mist man lean towards Shigaraki and it looked like they were plotting something more. My gut told me to stay put, and glancing around, I think that's what two of my other classmates thought as well, while the other three turned away, two of them trying to convince us to follow.

The energy surging in my body suddenly spiked as I noticed the two villains rush in towards the battered hero. The next thing I know, Midoriya is midair with his fist reared back ready for a punch as Kirishima called out his name.

Shigaraki glanced at him, shifting his body slightly, and plunging his hand into the vortex villain while Midoriya screamed at them to stay away from All Might.

My eyes widened when I saw that hand reach towards Midoriya from a small vortex, and I couldn't stay still anymore.

"Sorry, but I'm not backing out just yet guys, not when I can actually do something this time," I said before rushing forward to the man covered in hands. I vaguely heard gunshots, but I couldn't pay attention to that at the moment, I was zeroed in on the man that had attacked my dad.

When I was in reach, we made eye contact, and I gave him an All Might style grin mixed with some Bakugo flare by saying "Fuck. off." before letting all of the energy of the copied quirk blast down my arm and through my fist. My attack landed, sending him skidding across the plaza, but apparently, I managed to forget about Midoriya's quirk's backlash.

A blood-curdling scream tore its way from my throat as I collapsed to the ground cradling my now extremely broken arm.

"AIZAWA!" I heard multiple voices shout my name, but the pain from that one punch was so excruciating, and the blood rushing through my veins was so loud in my ears that I couldn't hear much more than a muffled version of what they were saying. 'Is this what Midoriya has to deal with every time?! I'm a sobbing mess curled up on the ground, and yet he… he's able to push through and do more than one of these attacks!' I thought to myself.

Just when I worried that maybe the villains would gather together again to finish their task, it basically started raining bullets directly at the two. They quickly entered a vortex, only for Thirteen to start attempting to suck up the vortex with his own.

Shigaraki glared daggers at all of us. "I may have failed here, but the next time we meet…" His eyes landed on All Might. "You're dead, All Might!" with that last comment, they vanished, leaving all the small-time villains to be captured by the pros that had joined.

Once the main villains were gone, my classmates crowded around me, a couple noticeably panicking. I couldn't even manage to open an eye as I sobbed at the pain. My veins in my right arm now felt like they had exploded, and my bones felt like they should be fragments.

Hearing a quiet string of curses close to me, I knew Bakugo was by my side. "Hang on, alright Copy Cat?" his normally confident and rough voice sounded...different. "We'll get you to the old lady, and she'll have you fixed up in no time."

I could almost feel the frustration from the entire group. None of them could lift me from where I lay due to no one's costume covering enough skin to keep my quirk from acting up. It seemed like forever before I finally felt myself being lifted, but it was a strange feeling. It felt like the ground itself had lifted me, then gently slid me onto a stretcher. As I was being moved away, my mind suddenly turned from a pained frenzy to another panicked frenzy - I really need to get a handle on my panicking. My eyes snapped open, and my heart started racing. "Where-? I need…Kiri…Bakugo…" I rasped frantically, instinct making me attempt to push myself up, only to be gently pushed back down and suddenly feel a heavy sleep drift over me.
