A.N. Hey folks, Blue Tagg here with the third chapter. Here Nick and Judy will meet the lioness that's been causing trouble for love lives in the city, how will that work out?

Later that day the duo returned to the Precinct after talking with the mammals at the ice cream parlour.

"So, what's the plan?" Nick asked his partner.

"Tomorrow we're going down to where Stephanie and her husband and friends first met that lioness," Judy explained.

"So, what are we going to tell the Chief?" Nick asked.

"We'll tell him she's a person of interest," Judy explained.

"That should be enough," Nick sarcastically said, which caused Judy to slap him on the shoulder.

The two went inside and approached Clawhauser at the receptionist's desk.

"Hey guys, how did it go?" Clawhauser asked.

"Well, the two mammals fighting cleared out before we got there," Nick told him. "It was over some girl."

"Is Bogo still in?" Judy asked.

"I'm afraid not," Clawhauser said. "He left because he wanted to be with the Mrs."

"That's understandable," Nick said.

Just then Officers Francine Pennington and Theresa Prowlson approached.

"Hey Judy," Pennington said to her.

"Hey girls," Judy greeted them.

"We were just about to go get a drink, want to join us?" Prowlson asked.

"Thanks, but no thanks," Judy kindly refused. "Nick and I have some work that needs to be done."

"Okay Jude, see you tomorrow," Pennington said as she and Prowlson left the Precinct.

After they left Nick looked at Judy.

"You know, you should hang out with them sometime," Nick suggested as they made their way to their cubical.

"I know, but we have work right now," Judy admitted.

"You, Frankie and Tessie would be great friends if you hung out more," Nick suggested.

"Maybe someday," Judy admitted as they reached their cubical.

Nick and Judy went over the footage from the Café. Then at the end of the day, they went over to Nick's and had that Chinese.

The next day they went towards the Precinct as usual. They then approached Clawhauser who looked worried.

"Hey Hauser, you okay?" Nick asked the chubby cheetah.

"Hey, guys. It's Delgado. Nobody's heard from him since yesterday," Clawhauser said.

"What happened?" Judy asked.

"Yesterday Delgado left the Precinct after his shift and on the way, he encountered two grizzlies who looked like they were trying to mug a lioness. When backup arrived at his location everyone was gone."

"Just like that?" Nick asked.

"Yes," the group heard Bogo as he approached. "When backup approached the place was clear. There was no sign of a struggle or anything."

"Any bodies?" Nick asked.

"None, not even any trace of blood anywhere," Bogo continued. "Whatever happened, it looked like they left willingly."

"Not even Delgado's family has seen him," Clawhauser said.

"So, what now?" Judy asked.

"We'll put out a search warrant for Delgado and the grizzlies," Bogo told them. Nick then remembered something.

"Did you say that a lioness was being mugged?" Nick asked Clawhauser, who nodded in agreement.

"Remember that disturbance yesterday that we were sent to investigate?" Nick reminded them. "Well, when we arrived the two elephants fighting were gone. But a witness, their sister, said they were fighting over some lioness, even though one of them is happily married and the other prefers men."

"Then soon, Stephanie Stalkinew came and told us that a few nights ago, she, her husband and their friends were walking home when they ran into that same lioness. And then, their husbands acted gaga for that lioness, brushed their wives aside and walked off with her," Judy explained their story.

"So, what're you saying?" Bogo asked.

"What we're saying is that this lioness is becoming a person of interest," Judy stated.

"Still, we don't know a thing about her," Bogo stated.

"Well we checked the footage from the Parlour," Nick explained. "Unfortunately, during that time the lioness was around, the cameras acted weird, and got nothing but static till she left."

"So, she somehow caused the cameras to stop working for a brief moment?" Bogo asked.

"That seems to be it, sir," Judy said.

"Look, I know you two have a good idea, but we need evidence," Bogo pointed out.

"I know, and we will find them," Judy announced.

Just then the radio behind the desk spoke up.

"Attention, we have a robbery at the jewellery store on Savannah Fifth, two weasels identified!"

"But first, let's deal with this," Nick suggested.

"Sounds like a plan," Judy agreed.

"You two go on ahead," Bogo encouraged.

The two then ran towards their cruiser and took towards their destination.

They reached the jewellery store and got out their tranquiliser guns.

"ZPD!" Judy cried out as they walked in ready.

When they got in, they saw the two weasels, one black-furred and the other white-furred, with bags filled with jewels.

"Paws in the air!" Judy demanded.

"Can't do that officer," the black-furred weasel said.

"Yes, we must bring these to our mistress," the white-furred weasel said.

"Your mistress?" Judy asked.

"Yes," a voice said. Nick and Judy turned to see a lioness wearing a red dress. "These lovely gentlemen are just getting me some lovely jewels."

"Lady, turn around on your knees and put your paws in the air," Nick warned as he and Judy aimed their tranq guns at the lioness.

"You're not gonna do that to a pretty lioness like me officer?" the lioness said as her eyes began to flash green.

Soon, so did Nick's as he started to feel woozy.

"I don't want to do it to a pretty lioness," Nick started acting weirdly.

"Nick what are you saying, we need to arrest them!" Judy reminded him, which made Nick shake his head.

"You're right Carrots, tranq them!" Nick said as he and Judy fired their tranquiliser darts at the lioness, which caused the two weasels to jump into the line of fire and took the darts for her.

The lioness shook her head as she walked towards Nick.

"See, this is what some men do for a pretty woman, don't you agree?" the lioness said as she crouched down and put her paw on Nick's cheek. And once again, their eyes began to glow green.

"Get away from him!" Judy cried as she pushed the lioness away with her kick away.

Judy then approached her.

"Ma'am, I'm placing you under arrest for organising a robbery…" Judy was saying as she got out of the cuffs but was stopped when someone grabbed her arm.

Judy turned and, to her surprise, Nick stopped.

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that," Nick said in a deep tone. He then threw her across the room.

Judy landed on her back. She groaned in pain as she looked at Nick.

"All's done my lady," Nick said as he bowed to her. "That stupid rodent won't bother you now."

Judy felt hurt when she heard that, by Nick of all mammals.

"Very good. Now kindly escort my home," the lioness said.

Nick then put a paw on her leg as he walked her out. Judy just sat there confused and hurt.

A.N. And that was the third chapter folks. So, Nick has fallen under the lioness' spell. Now Judy is on her own, or is she?

Hope you enjoyed it.
