Everyone guess what? This story isn't dead! I just got distracted by other stuff that I kind of forgot about this. Originally was going to post this before new year's day or after until the Wifi went out. It is what it is but I'm going to try and make up for the long absence with upcoming chapters sooner. Thank you so much to those still following and interested. I just have a cluster of story ideas I'm working on and more that won't leave my brain alone but I'm going to try and sort these fics out best I can.

Tsumugi was the type to both love and hate surprises. She loved if they played into her favor and hated when they didn't. Although as one of the few handful of despair followers left she should feel good about the uncertainty of things like this. Everything falling into place the exact way she wanted it would be more then a bit boring.
Even with this in mind it wasn't what her viewers wanted. 400 viewers was extremely small change compared to what it use to be like but other hosts got sloppy and caught. The future foundation had really been becoming a huge growing thorn in the side to deal with. Some idiots taunted them with calling cards or something equally narcissistic that got them caught. Others tried the old "natural" approach to the game where they didn't give motives and wanted to see how long paranoia would take over to have a murder occur. Not a bad idea on paper but by the time something actually happened after 4 months straight the person lost all views and the killing game lost even more despairs.
It was safe to say that particular host was never seen from again or at least the body hadn't been found yet. Tsumugi was determined to keep the games going even if it got her killed in the process. This killing game would be non-stop excitement with death per few days just so it wouldn't be boring nor be over to soon. So far the highest voted first victim that people wanted was: Ryoma Hoshi.
The reasons varied but the most liked comments summed up the audience's feelings.
1: Eww, that little tennis guy is soooo ugly and a boring talent too! #60% up vote
2. The maid is kinda hot but that's about all there is to her. I've seen more personality in a cardboard box. She doesn't even offer much fan service even with that outfit. Boring!#50% up vote.
She couldn't deny contemplating to kill Ryoma off from the start or drag his suffering out for a few weeks. Thanks to Rantaro's meddling things got delayed. Him seeming to show just slightly less depression in his eyes despite last night was both odd and aggravating. Luckily just like having to kill and swap protagonists last minute she was quick on her feet to change. She knew of his true violent history which meant he wouldn't be as a quick a kill as planned. The fact that Kirumi seemed to be the second most disliked of the batch so far was a blessing in disguise as a choice killer.
Although her aggression would have to be tweaked a bit for this it was a win either way. Whether she kills Ryoma or he kills her in defense will make for a bit of good action. Bonus points if they both whined up killing each other for an extra dramatic 2nd class trial.
"Okay everyone we've got an audience to both entertain and grow the numbers. First increase Kirumi's desperation to leave and aggression by 40% instead of 20%. like planned." She ordered.
"Should we do the same with the tennis guy?" A random subordinate asked. They all looked the same to her so she didn't really bother remembering all the names.
"Great idea and maybe make Miu do something streaking on the night for some added fun. We didn't make that nerd pretty for no reason." Tsumugi would take credit for both the streaking and Ryoma's part if ever asked later.
It was almost time to meet up with Angie, Kaito, and Shuichi late at night when Ryoma suddenly felt an odd tingling sensation. At first he just thought maybe his leg had fallen asleep or something but the sensation grew all over him in a rush. He was almost so focused on his legs he almost missed the red Monokub running out his room with what looked like an odd green flashlight looking thing.
How and when did it even come in? I thought I locked my room door."
Before he could think more on it he started to feel dizzy and when he closed his eyes to get his breathing together his mind was assaulted with images and weird lights. It was similar to when Chiaki was showing him his memories but unlike the emotional feelings of deja vu it felt off. It was more like someone showing him a movie of things that had no attachment to him.
The images of himself crying at his family's funeral. A sweaty and bloody him throwing one iron ball after another at unfamiliar men. Lastly him kissing some unfamiliar brunette women goodbye at an airport. All of it was like watching some odd sick play with people who somewhat resembled those he knew but not quite. The images along with the sudden heat felt almost like they were trying to physically force themselves into his head. It was giving him a headache.
A sudden rapid ringing pulled him out of it. It took a few more seconds then he was proud to admit to realize that ringing was his room doorbell. The ringing only stopped when he opened it to see an annoyed looking Kaito with his leg up like he was about to kick the door in.
"Damn dude I wasn't sure if you were in the bathroom, asleep, or what! I was ringing and knocking for like 5 minutes. Did you forget about our..." Ryoma must of looked as out of it as he felt to make Kaito stop talking and looked at him with a concerned expression.
"Whoa uh, are you alright man? I mean if your coming down with something then maybe you should take it easy for tonight." Ryoma shook his a bit to clear out the remaining fog in it before speaking.
"Oh no I'm fine, I just got weirdly light headed for a minute. Oh and you didn't see any of the monokubs run in or out of my room did you?" he asked.
The look of doubt Kaito gave him said he knew he was lying.
"Nope. I've been standing here for a while, are you sure your feeling alright? "Kaito said
"Yeah, I don't think I'll do much exercise but I can still help you guys train like I promised."
When they got there the first thing they saw was Angie doing some yoga poses while Shuichi was clumsily trying to copy.
"Angie thought it would be good to get in some creative stretching before we begin." Kaito informed him.
After doing various poses that Ryoma was almost 50% sure she was making up they got down to push ups. His head was clearer now but as he said before he didn't exercise. Ryoma instead helped keep time of how fast it took the three of them to get to 50. Angie got there first, Shuichi second, and Kaito to Ryoma's surprise only got to 23 before he stopped to talk to Shuichi. Out of the four of them present Kaito was the most fit looking which made his slow pace confusing.
"Chiaki did say that some of us might look different then we do here. Maybe Kaito's in worse physical condition then Shuichi? No wait, even if he was fat or sick in real life that shouldn't affect him here unless he was sick here to."he thought to himself.
Both him and Shuichi seemed to be having a moment so he didn't bring it up until the detective and artist left for bed.
"Say Kaito are you feeling okay? I had an 8 yr old cousin who could do more push ups then 23." he teased
"Hey! I'm in plenty of shape I just didn't want to embarrass my sidekick that's all." Kaito said defensively.
"I didn't say you were out of shape, I asked if your feeling well. It kind of looked like you were sweating pretty hard even if you were going easy on him." Ryoma said more seriously this time.
"No worries here man, if I was honestly sick I'd tell you guys." Despite his words the smile on his face looked a little too forced. Before he could question the astronaut more on the matter, the tall teen sprinted off to his room.
"That's definitely suspicious but I hope I'm just being paranoid. I'll let Kaede or Rantaro know about this later along with the odd cub flashlight" He thought as he walked off to bed.

Question time! I was wondering do you think Kiibo should get his jet wings later? Making a few fighting charts with each student under Tank, Support, Defense, and offense fighters. Done with Support class but spoilers, Kibo is in the supports. If yes what limitations would you put on them so he isn't OP? if no then how would you upgrade his speed? Let me know in the comments.
