Kirumi's day was going as well as she could make it in a situation like this.

Cleaning was honestly a great way to not only feel helpful but keep yourself distracted from stress. Waking up in a killing game was the embodiment of stressful. That no doubt was true for them all. It was times like this that she wasn't sure if her OCD was a blessing in disguise or a curse but either way it kept her moving. Kirumi took note of her classmates as she brought out everyone's breakfast. Angie and Himiko were sitting beside one another chatting.

The little mage looked a bit more awake then usual. Kirumi might even dare think she looked mildly excited. Tenko was sitting not to far away and seemed to be glaring at the pair for some reason.

More specifically the glare was at Angie who had her hand on the Himiko's shoulder. Maki wasn't there as usual. If the maid had to guess she'd assume Maki was still in her lab. She'd have to deliver Maki's breakfast sometime later. It would be a lie if Kirumi said she wasn't curious as to why the girl seemed to make it a point to avoid people while in there. If she just wasn't a social person then that was perfectly fine and her decision of course. Still kind of odd considering her talent.

A talent like child care giving seemed like something a more extroverted person would chose in Kirumi's opinion. Not to say she was judging the girl's choice in title but it was an odd match up. She'd served people in the past who's hobbies or jobs didn't really match their personalities before so it wasn't the oddest.

Next Kirumi took note that Shuichi and Kaito were sitting together with Gonta. If she wasn't mistaken it looked like the detective seemed a little more relaxed then yesterday. Not smiling as wide as kaito but definitely looked a little less stressed in other people's company then yesterday. Kaito was talking animatedly with his hands as he was telling them some tale she was only half paying attention to. Somewhere in there she thought Kaito said something about a whale and hiding himself in it's stomach.

It was almost like a second sense as part of her job to take note if anyone she was serving was ill. Someone not looking close enough would of missed the way the astronaut was rubbing his neck and turning away to clear his throat discreetly. He covered the cough cleverly with laughing into his sleeve but her ears and eyes still caught it. The bit of sweat on Kaito's forehead was a hint too since it was nowhere near that warm in the room. Since being here he insisted he'd do his own laundry so she didn't have to. There would of likely been tell tale signs of mucus or possibly vomit if she did them. On that note she needed to ask him about this later.

Miu and kokichi were picking up their plates to eat outside it seemed. They seemed oddly like friends despite the constant crude insult slinging as they walked off. Kokichi like kaito also insisted she didn't have to do his room. Kokichi didn't seem to eat much before going back to his room. She had walked by it once only to find a piece of paper on the door that said "Supreme leaders only!" in black marker on a sticky note. She didn't really understand him but didn't mind the boy too badly. The constant mom jokes got old fast though. Meanwhile Miu's taste in humor in general wasn't her cup of tea but that just meant she'd put off caring to serve her last. Ryoma was no where to be seen.

Now where were the last three?

"Say Kirumi? Can I ask you to bring me my breakfast to my room later? I'm redoing some old cosplay wigs in my room and tend to lose something as plain as the time. Also I know you've got a lot going on but could you try on a cosplay for me?" Asked Tsumugi with a shy smile. She didn't notice the cosplayer behind her when she came in.

"Of course Tsumugi, there's no problem at all." Kirumi said with a smile back. There really wasn't much a problem. This was what the rest of her days would likely be like until they got out. She knew she had something important to do when she got out but it could of course wait. It was something kind of vague anyway so it probably wasn't worth worrying about.

Later with Tsumugi

"Thank you so much again Kirumi. I know how plain busy you are all the time what with helping everyone."

"As I said it's quite alright and wasn't a problem. I'm always glad to help as is the duty of a maid." Kirumi said this with a small courtesy before going on her way.

Truth be told she did spend more time then she meant to with Tsumugi. What she had to worry about later was finishing up with cleaning Himiko's "magical tools" as she called them. With a bit of walking she found herself in the kitchen and was going to make some sushi for everyone.

As she started to clean and carve the salmon her mind wandered to what she planned to do later on soon. She had many little duties to perform for everyone but something slightly more serious then cleaning magic equipment had come up.

After the cosplay session with Tsumugi, she had found what looked like a Monokuma pad but in blue on her bed. Kirumi had been taking a quick shower in her own room before finding it. On it was a video that seemed meant for Ryoma that featured the most important person in his life. Upon watching it she felt pity for her shortest classmate. She had heard of his past and was there when he offered his own life at the first motive. Learning this would be to cruel.

It sickened her to do it but another matter had come up that she might need to use this cruelness for the better of her own precious people. Funny enough she herself had forgotten them before that little red bear appeared while flashing some odd light at the Kirumi. Many emotions flooded her in that moment with guilt, anger, and determination.

To forget any of her duties as a maid would of been mildly embarrassing at worse. Forgetting your duties as a prime minister? Unacceptable on all counts and action needed to be taken. An extreme action that might hurt the few people here she did genuinely like within the short time she'd known them. The ends would hopefully justify the means. Kirumi wasn't soulless and would do right by them all. She'd tell the world of this place once everyone in it wasn't in danger.

"1,2,3." She counted under her breath in time with her strokes to focus on both the future and current dirty task at hand. Angie, and Himiko were planning to announce a magic show later in the day which would be Tenko would be shadowing them throughout the rest.

"4,5,6" Kirumi cut the small fish down the middle.

It would probably be easier in the grand scheme of things to target someone else but she liked to multitask. Death might bring Ryoma comfort if it was sooner then later.

"1,2,3" This situation made her think a bit of the trolley man dilemma in a way. Any way she spun it there was no turning back or stopping. It was for the greater good and their was no telling how much or little time she had to make a move.

"4,5, 6" Rolling the fish, rice, and crabmeat into a seaweed wrap she contemplated best how to prepare. Tsumugi had informed her that he seemed a bit less gloomy lately. If her plan to convince to reach his peace by his own will didn't work then she might need a slight bit of force. There was also a chance others might see something and try to stop her. It was best to prepare for the sake of bringing them to peace too. That might require a little more then a normal broom to clean up the matter so she might need to adjust her plan for all possible inconveniences. All this was for peace, for him, for her, and possibly for all of Japan.

Later on with Ryoma

"So what happened after Monotaro flashed you with the light?" Angie asked as they sat in her room. It was still kind of weird hearing her voice sound so different then before even if she only changed it when they were alone. Still he would get use to it eventually.

"I just got a bad headache and saw weird images before leaving with Kaito to exercise. It was mostly stuff like me alone at my family's funeral or me with a bunch of mafia members. The fake stuff from before but it somehow physically hurt rather then mentally."

"What do you suppose it means?" asked Kaede who was in the room with them and Rantaro.

"Only thing I can guess is that it was probably meant to make you feel worse about yourself. You were borderline suicidal before so to see stuff like that was to probably make you worse."Rantaro stated.

"What's worse then feeling suicidal?" Kaede asked.

"I don't know but there was another thing actually. I heard a voice that sounded creepily like mine but altered a bit. It kept repeating itself over and over too." Ryoma replied.

"What did the voices say?" asked Angie

"Your no use to this world, your no use to this world, your no use so why be selfish? Everyone else is needed outside not you. Not you, not you, never you, your an evil mistake. If someone here needs to leave here then who are you to resist?" " Ryoma said with a pained expression.

Hearing that hurt along with how down he looked saying it despite claiming it did nothing to him mentally. Kaede floated over and gave him a half hug as best she could to reassure him the words were lies.

"That's awful." Kaede said. He gave her a nod and smile as a silent thanks in return.

"Sounds like they've got a motive coming and have picked you as the target if their trying to convince you to not resist an attack." Rantaro commented.

"But if Ryoma's the next victim then who's the attacker?" The artist bit her thumb thoughtfully a she spoke.

"It could be anyone so you might have to be a little more on guard for anything weird happening in the next few days." Kaede suggested.

Ryoma looked down at his current outfit and suddenly felt it was a bit on the heavy side for an athlete and especially the chain brace on his leg.

"Why do I even have this? Its not a monitor bracelet and according to my true memories I never went to prison. Even if I did at some point there's no reason to walk around with half a chained leg."

"I feel like I need to start caring a weapon around. Think anyone would find that weird?"

"I mean if you carried around something like a bat it might be but you can use a racket like weapon right?" Kaede suggested.

Rubbing his chin in thought Ryoma considered it.

"Well yeah but rackets are to typically used to hit something that weights less then a golf ball. I'd never want to seriously injure someone but I might need to do something to make it a little more tough. That and maybe start carrying around extra stuff just in case that doesn't work."

"I could ask Chiaki for some ideas on what to do for weapons. For now just keep an eye out for anything weird out of the ordinary." The green cub said.

"Okay."

Guess who's back the dead with a fic update once more? Hopefully everyone has been keeping safe and trying to live life as best they can in these times. I know this was really short but I'll try to make the next one longer to make up for it. I'm not sure if I'm moving to fast or to slow with the pace of things so I've got to mull over how this is going to go. I'm still planning to see this to the end.
