Madison reached to the room as she unlocked the door with a key. She went inside to see a bed by the right corner with a side table beside it and on the left side was a dresser with a mirror.
"This will do for the day." she said to herself as she laid her coat on the dress and laid her bag on the table as she sat on the bed.
She laid her head on the pillow and felt relaxed as the bed was nice and comfy
"This feels really nice. I take it that Arendelle has the nicest beds here." she said and then looked at the sky as something was on her mind.
"You know something." she said to her necklace, "Since we're now in Arendelle, there's this one question I am curious about. How will I team up with Anna on finding Elsa?"
The necklace glowed a few times as it was saying that it doesn't know.
"Yeah, I don't know either. I don't know if she'll like... choose me to tag along and I should volunteer to help, but who knows. We'll just have to wait and see tonight. Once the big freeze of eternal winter arrives."
Madison closed her eyes as she felt a little tired and got to comfy position as she was taking a small nap.
In her dream, she was in the snow. It was cold. Freezing cold or as her grandmother calls it: Blue Cold. Madison was standing in the middle of a mountain somewhere as she was not shivering but the wind was blowing harder like blizzard. She couldn't see anything as the blizzard almost blind her until...
A loud knock came banging on the door, causing Madison's eyes to open. She was back at the inn room. Madison quickly got off the bed and looked through the window. No snow falling but it is almost night. She sighed with relief but then heard another knock.
"Miss? Miss are you in there?" the voice of the innkeeper spoke at the other side of the door.
"Yes, I'm here." she answered.
"It's almost night, miss. I was wondering if you'll come with me to the courtyard."
"Yeah, sure. I'll be right out." said Madison as she looked at her reflection in the mirror as she was fixing her hair.
One she was done, she kept looking at her reflection and exhaled her breath.
"Time to see the queen in a sort of way," she said to herself as she walked towards the door and opened it to see the innkeeper standing. "I'm ready ma'am."
"Good. Come, come." said the innkeeper and the two walked down the hall as they were leaving the inn.
At the courtyard, the entire village were all here, as they were gathered around to see the new queen. Madison and the innkeeper have just arrived as the streetlights have already lit up. Madison looked around as she saw a lot of people talking and the kids were running around but then looked at the innkeeper.
"Sure, is quite a lot of people." she said to her.
"Indeed. And I bet there are more than a lot in the castle. I would so imagine what the inside of the castle will look like."
"You've never been in there?"
"No. No villager has ever gone in the castle unless it's important but not since the gates were closed for years?"
"What do you mean?" Madison asked but she already know what the answer was.
"Couple of years ago as I remember when the princesses were children, the villagers and I have seen her on certain occasions, especially the holidays. But that all change since King Agnarr have made the gates closed. We don't know what it's all about and we've never seen them again. I've also remembered seeing the King with Queen at the docks as they were going out to the sea until... they were gone." said the innkeeper.
"And now on this day, on the coronation, the gates are opened." said Madison.
"Yes, but I fear that they'll be closed again." she sadly replied.
Suddenly, the two heard the doors burst opened and looked to see Queen Elsa at the doorway.
"There she is!" a woman spoke in the crowd.
The crowd cheers for except Madison. She saw the look of fear at the queen as she was running through the crowd trying to get away but was stopped by a few people.
"There's something wrong with her." she said.
"What do you mean, dear?"
"She has a fear look in her eyes."
"Fear? What kind of fear?"
Madison watched the queen as she was moving back away from the crowd, but as she stumbles back to the fountain, the water became frozen with ice. Madison knew that it was Elsa who accidently froze the fountain as crowd gasps and looked shocked.
"There she is! Stop her!" a male voice shouted.
Madison turned to see the Duke and his bodyguards at the doorway.
"Please, just stay away from me. Stay away!" Elsa yelled.
Suddenly, ice shoot out of her hand and hit the ground at the castle steps. Which caused the Duke and his guards to fall.
"Monster! Monster!" the Duke pointed at her.
'She's not a monster. She's just scared.' Madison thought as the crowd became afraid and then the queen dashed off.
"Elsa!" Anna's voice shouted as she was trying to stop her and then quickly followed her along with a prince with her.
"My goodness! I've never knew that the queen has powers! Powers of ice!" said the innkeeper.
"Do you think that's the reason why the gates are closed?" Madison asked as she acted.
"I don't know." she replied until something fell from the sky.
The two looked up and saw that it was snow and Madison started to feel a cool air coming.
"I should have brought my coat." she said to herself as she tries to warm herself up until she heard the Duke's voice as he was panicking.
"Look! It's snowing! It's snowing! The Queen has cursed this land! She must be stopped! You have to go after her." he said to his guards.
"Wait! No!" Anna spoke as she stood in front of the Duke.
Madison gently went through the crowd to get a better view and saw Anna with Prince Hans as they were looking at the Duke.
" You!" the Duke spoke as he went behind his guards for protection, "Is there sorcery in you, too? Are you a monster, too?"
"No. No. I'm completely ordinary." the princess replied.
"That's right, she is." said Hans as he placed his hand on Anna's shoulder, "In the best way."
Anna smiled at him and then face the Duke again.
"My sister's not a monster."
"She nearly killed me!" the Duke shouted.
"You slipped on ice." Hans pointed.
"Her ice!"
"It was an accident. She was scared. She didn't mean it. She didn't mean any of this." said Anna as she had a guilt look on her face, "Tonight was my fault. I pushed her, so I'm the one that needs to go after her."
"What?" Hans looked at her in concern.
"Yes." the Duke agreed.
"Bring me, my horse! Please?" Anna commanded as she was about to go but Hans stopped her.
"Anna, no! It's too dangerous." said the prince.
"Elsa's not dangerous. I'll bring her back and I'll make this right."
"I'm coming with you."
"No. I need you here to take care of Arendelle." said Anna.
"On my honor, but someone has to go with you." Hans suggested.
Anna looked at the crowd as she was finding someone to go with her until she gasped as she spotted Madison.
"You! Miss!" Anna pointed at her.
Madison looked around to see who she was pointing at until she realized the princess was pointing at her.
"Me?" she asked.
"Yes, you! I need you to come with me. From what I'm seeing when we bumped into each other, you looked like a traveler."
"Plus, adventurer, your highness." said Madison as added a truth to that.
"Perfect!" Anna spoke with excitement as her horse finally arrived along with a green cloak.
"But first... let me get my coat and stuff first." she.
The princess nods her head while Madison walked off as she was heading back to the inn.
Madison got back to her as she was in a hurry and quickly grabbed her coat and bag.
"Are you sure about this, miss?" the innkeeper spoke as she already arrived.
"I have to help her. Besides, I can't refuse to a royal." she answered.
As she put on her coat, hat, and gloves, Madison started to leave until she was stopped by the innkeeper with a small bag of food.
"Something for your travels. It was meant for dinner but I'm pretty sure you might be hungry on the journey."
"Thank you, ma'am." she said as she put the food in her travel bag and starts walking off.
Outside of the inn, Madison already went out the door and saw Anna on her horse already.
"You ready?" the princess asked.
"I am but I am concern about your kingdom." said Madison as she got on the horse behind her.
"Don't worry, I leave my fiancé in charge. Now let's go and find my sister." she said and the two rode off, heading straight towards the mountains.
