Chapter 10: End of Avatar
'Note to self: If Bron asks to hotbox a room, firmly say no, no matter how funny it might be.'
After cleaning up and eating some food, I went down to wake up and talk to my captives, only to find a holding room full of weed smoke.
And by holding room, I mean a resting room with beds, a bathroom, and normal stuff.
The only difference was the bars near the door. I made it in case I had to throw someone in but I'm not a dick and dungeons give me bad flashbacks to some dark porn.
Ty Lee was hanging from the ceiling thinking she was in the circus, Mei was balancing on one foot and balancing knives all over her body, and for fucks sake, Azula was having a heart to heart with Athena.
"Zuko is just so FUN to mess with you know?"
"Hoot."
"My father is so strict and mean, never showing me love damn it!"
"Hoot."
"See, you get me. And that mother of mine, why does she only love Zuko, huh?!"
"Hoot."
"Ha! Yeah right. She doesn't love me. Am I just a monster like she says?"
"Hoot."
"Yeah!"
I just shook my head at all this and turned to Bron who was counting butchered sheep over in the corner while staring up at the stone ceiling in wonder.
'Of course his version is about butchering sheep. What's with his obsession with butchering things?
*Sigh* I'm too old for this crap.'
*Clap* *Clap*
"Can I have everyone's attention."
Everyone looked over in surprise, having not even noticed me standing at the door.
"Good, now we have a few things to take care of, Bron, get up and go get four sobering potions, and yes, one is for you."
"Aye sir…."
Bron dejectedly stopped butchering imaginary sheep and went to get the potions.
If he grabbed the bag of weed on his way out, I didn't comment.
He came back a moment later and handed out the vials.
"What's this stuff?" (Mei)
"It smells awful!" (Ty Lee)
"How dare you hand such a thing to this princess!" (Azula)
I replied in a deadpan tone.
"It's to sober you up."
Mei didn't doubt me and took it.
After what she saw before, she knew there were easier ways for me to deal with her.
Ty Lee pouted, but at my strict look she caved and drank it.
As for Azula.
She threw the vial at me.
"Screw you worm!"
I caught it and gave her a hard look.
"Drink it or never bend fire again."
"YOU!"
Before sending the girls to this dungeon room, which really is just a comfortable jail cell all told, I had taken Azula's bending from her.
There was no way I would let the little girl go spewing lightning in my home.
"Yes me, now drink this and make logical choices or shut up and sit down."
I threw the vial back at her and she looked like she wanted to smash it but reigned in her temper and drank it with a grumble.
For the record, I fully agree that Azula is one crazy as bitch, but she was made this way by a psychotic megalomaniac with a god complex.
So I wasn't going to do anything to her, I really didn't care all that much what she did with her life.
Once all three girls were sober and sending me annoyed glances for the taste, Gol brought some tea and we all sat down.
"Now, as you know, you are currently my prisoners."
Ty lee raised her hand.
"Yes?"
"How did we get here? The last thing I remember was confronting you with two hundred earth bender secret agents surrounding you."
"Perfectly understandable question. My answer is you lost the fight."
Ty Lee pouted but Mei silenced her.
"He's right, we completely lost, give up."
"Eh? Mei, do you remember what happened?"
"Yes, I do."
"Can you tell me?"
"No."
They bickered for a bit before Azula cut them off.
"How dare you take ME prisoner! My father will.."
"Your father will do nothing!"
I blasted Azula with my killing intent and used a trick Hisoka taught me with my Nen to make her go pale and silent.
It basically took the manifestation of your Ten and gave you a smaller form visible to the naked human eye.
Behind my back a tiger type hanya mask appeared menacingly but only focused it's aura on Azula.
"If I wanted to kill your worm of a father I would have done it. Hell, even Iroh could have killed the moron but he's moved on from such things."
Azula looked like she still wanted to argue, and I gave her credit for that as the other two backed away even without being the target, so I threw up a silencing charm and a sticking charm on her butt so she couldn't get up or make a sound.
"Ignore her, she can listen."
Ty Lee and Mai looked curiously as I sipped tea calmy and Azula made a weird childish dance by flailing her arms and legs.
"What did you do?"
"I temporarily silenced her, It's too much effort to play the hard ass and dominate her."
They gaped at that.
"Damn, can I learn how to do that thing with the mask?" (Mai)
"Wow! I've never seen someone deal with Azula so easily." (Ty Lee)
I shrugged and sipped more tea.
Ty Lee tried to poke Azula and almost got her finger bit off for the effort.
Mei was more focused.
"So what exactly do you want from us?"
"Gol."
At my call, Gol placed three parchments on the table, but only slid it to the two stable women.
Mei took her and read it over with a puzzled look.
"I don't understand. What does it mean by our memories will be forfeit?"
I calmy explained to her while the other two messed around, it seemed Ty Lee found this Azula to be very 'Un-scary' and fun to get some stress out on.
"The contract is enforced by my abilities. Just like I removed Ty Lee's memories, this contract will deny any of you from speaking to others about my abilities or to target me in a hostile way, directly or indirectly, without my express permission.
Breaking that clause will erase every memory of me from your minds."
The two girls messing around focused on those words with Azula calming down.
"Wait, what do you mean you removed my memories?" (Ty Lee)
Mai answered for me.
"You saw something you shouldn't have."
Ty Lee frowned at that, so I added on.
"You saw those men die Ty Lee; you shouldn't have seen that. You were not mentally ready to see such a thing."
Not telling her what happened would make her want to find out but knowing about it thankfully made her back down.
She paled at the mental image and quieted down. Thanks to her unique form of aura sight, she probably saw more than usual.
"Don't worry, I didn't touch any other memory."
I saw her nod in confirmation and went on.
"The contract is my price for your freedom. You can sign it, or I can just erase your memories manually and dump you in the earth kingdoms hands. What you choose is up to you."
Azula had listened calmy and waved a hand to get my attention, pointing at the contract.
I slid it over with a smile and undid the silencing charm.
She looked over it with a raised eyebrow.
"How can I believe this is real?"
Before I answered, Mai did.
"It is. You didn't see what he can do."
After saying that she signed with the provided quill without any fuss.
Azula raised an eyebrow at that.
"You truly believe this?"
Mai nodded and pointed at me.
"He is not human, he frightens me, and I believe he is telling the truth considering he could easily follow through on his threat.
I want to keep my memories so I can be reminded what war truly means."
The two girls looked curious at Mai's hollow eyes.
"Oh? And what is that?"
She just answered with a single word.
"Pain."
Azula scoffed.
"What a coward, I expected more from you."
Mai didn't respond beyond giving her a pitying look, and Azula spoke to me.
"I want proof of this being real before I sign anything. I also want my bending back. And why can't I recall anything from the fight? Did you erase my memories as well?"
While thinking of how to prove it, I absentmindedly replied.
"Nah, I just knocked you out."
She scowled at that while the other two laughed.
Ty Lee surprisingly stated a request.
"I don't mind signing, but if it's true, can I see more of what you can do?"
Mai gave me a sharp look, wanting to protect her but I waved her down.
"It's fine Mai, not everything I do is combat worthy. And Ty Lee, sure, I'll let show you around my home, which you are all currently in."
Mai calmed down and Ty Lee looked excited.
"Yay!"
She signed without worries.
Gol collected the two and popped away to place them in my vault, and yes I have one, every man who makes a super home would get one, it's a man's romance to have a large vault room.
I stood up and unstuck Azula from the ground.
"Follow me, I'll handle Azula first."
I led them out of the holding room, which is just one of the rooms at the back of my house.
The girls looked around in interest as I led them through the house.
The architecture was mostly modern style mixed with medieval due to those damn wizards, but It created a very nice style overall, and it was very different from what they were used to.
While walking through the hallway from the back of the house, we past various doors with different themes and Ty Lee was a ball of energy.
"What's the one."
"A bathroom."
"And that."
"A closet."
"And that!"
"Butchering room."
"An…. How about that one!"
She powered through that and pointed at a red colored door making me chuckle while I ruffled her hair.
"That's a play room for adults now calm down, I'll give you a tour in a bit."
She pouted but still asked.
"What kind of play room?"
Thankfully, Mai pulled her away with a blush.
"Shut up Ty Lee."
Azula surprisingly looked interested.
Mai was a nobleman's daughter whereas Ty Lee was an identical twin to six others, so it's no surprise on their reactions. Azula's made me curious if she really understood what it was.
Her attention however was taken by the next door.
"What kind of room is that for?"
She pointed at an automatic sliding door.
"That's my training area."
Her eyes lit up at that and the other two looked at me expectantly making me sigh.
"*Sigh* fine, one stop! But then I'm dealing with Azula."
'It's not like they can get out of my pocket dimension.'
I waited until they all nodded and walked in.
The doors made a *psh* sound and opened on their own, making the girls marvel at it for a moment before they saw inside and paused.
I took a bit of pride in their looks; my training area was the area I focused the most time on designing.
With the size of a football field, I had all the things I spoke of before.
Boxing area, dueling/target practice area, cushioned matted area with a mirror, a weights and machine area, obstacle courses, various doors to special rooms like my DODGE room, and more recently, a few adjustments from my friends.
The string area I was training in the other day, an area full of tools that unless you can use Nen are guaranteed to injure yourself, curtesy of Hisoka, and a few rooms designed by Menchi.
One room robbed you of sight, another of hearing, another had an assortment of smells to train your nose while blindfolded, and another locked the door until you finished a knife work assignment.
She also really liked the DODGE room and asked for a more lethal level, damn that women, I already have ptsd from that damn goblin instructor.
Ty Lee squealed excitedly and ran for the obstacle courses.
"Oh! That looks so fun!"
Mai's eyes shined as she walked toward the target practice area.
"Damn, that's really awesome."
Azula stepped forward to play as well but a hand clamped down on her head.
"Hey!"
"I said you could look, sign the contract now if you want to skip ahead."
She crossed her arms and huffed.
"Hmph unhand me you oaf! I will do what I want!"
"Huuuuuuu!?"
The tiger hanya mask came back oozing menace and she shivered and stopped struggling like a scolded cat.
"Gol, watch over these two while I deal with this troublesome lioness cub."
"Yes master."
"Oi! I'm a princess!"
I rolled my eyes at her as I switched my grip from her head to her collar and held her behind my back, with her back to my own, and walked out of the room.
"And? Was my example wrong?"
"…stupid oaf."
She grumbled but I ignored her and walked on.
I walked in silence for a minute with her just going with the ride until she spoke up.
"Why are you not afraid of me?"
"Why should I be?"
"I'm a monster, everyone is afraid of me."
"Ha, your no monster cub, you just have a few screws loose."
She sighed and tilted her head back, resting against the back of mine.
"Yeah right, what would you know."
"Well, aside from my best friend having more loose screws than you. I know all about your history Azula, and you just had fucked up parents, it's not a surprise you are the way you are. But that doesn't make you a monster."
I felt her turn her head slightly.
"And how would you know that?"
I shrugged.
"I have my ways, plus I've been hanging out with Iroh for a few months and teasing your brother."
She chuckled at that.
"Haha, it's fun to tease that fool, what did he do this time?"
"A girl got a crush on him and stalked him, making him think the earth kingdom was on to his secret identity."
Azula busted out laughing at that.
"*Pft* Hahahaha oh that's rich! That's exactly what that hardheaded moron would do."
"Yeah, me and Iroh had a ball with that one."
"Hmph, that traitor sunk him teeth into Zuko."
I pinched her butt with my free hand making her squeak.
"Oi!"
"You shouldn't disrespect Iroh, he is incredibly wise and caring, and he saw the reality of what his actions did when his son died."
"Yeah right, he's just a coward and a fool."
I sighed at her automatic answer, it didn't even feel like her words coming out of her mouth but her fathers.
"Maybe what I have to show you will help you realize a few things."
She scoffed and crossed her arms.
"Yeah, ok. What did those fools tell you about my parents anyway."
I rubbed my chin and thought about how to work this.
"Well for one, your mom was a bitch. She got dealt a bad hand in life, but no parent should ever take out their frustration on a young child."
She hummed at that but didn't comment.
"And your father, *sigh*, I don't even know where to begin with that nutcase. A megalomaniac pyromaniac with a god complex?"
"!"
Azula went to open her mouth on reflex but I pinched her butt again making her glare at me.
"Before you respond, think over your words and make sure their yours, not just something shoved down your throat by others."
I continued walking in silence for a minute, and if you were wondering why the walk was so long, I separated the entertainment wing from the utility wing on different sides of the house, so it takes a few minutes to cross the distance at a slow pace.
Space expansion charms are awesome.
Azula answered in a quieter and unsure tone.
"Ok, maybe your description was right. He does tend to talk to himself out loud about his own majesty and power. And he always sets any room he's in on fire in some way."
I chuckled at that and patted her butt this time instead of pinching.
"See, using your own voice is better than being a programmed tool."
She slapped my hand away with a blush.
"Why do you care? And why do you keep attacking my butt!"
I put on a philosophical pondering look and responded.
"It's a cute butt, and I think I may have a butt and thigh fetish."
She slapped my own ass this time.
"Damn that's a hard ass… *Cough* I mean… I didn't ask about your fetish's!"
"You kind of did."
"I didn… RAH! I wish I could fry you right now! Just answer why you care about me using my own voice!"
My tone grew more somber at that.
"I just freed over two hundred people from a life of being a puppet. I wouldn't mind freeing another, but at least you still have a chance to change."
She quieted down at that as I reached the door to the movie theater.
I walked over and gently moved Azula off my back and into a chair, getting a thankful nod from her.
"Where are we?"
"This is my movie theater; I'm going to show you the proof you wanted and hopefully open your eyes a bit."
"What's a movie?"
'*sigh*, maybe I should make a recording like Zelretch did in the beginning for situations when I need to explain technology to others.'
"It's a recorded play, but you're going to see my memory of that fight we just had from my point of view as I took each person's life, including what happened after you were knocked out."
She nodded at that explanation and sat back while I moved over to insert the memory and grab a drink from the mini fridge in the room.
"You want a drink? Wait, what's the age limit in this world? Are you old enough to drink?"
I never actually checked that out.
Azula scoffed at me.
"Don't treat me like a child you oaf, I'm 17! And there is no law banning minors from drinking if that was your question."
I almost dropped my beer at that line.
"17?!"
"Yes. Why?"
I looked her up and down in curiosity.
'Sure the girls looked older, but I always thought that was just their design or something, the show had said they were all 14 or 15. An AU world? That makes the most sense.'
"Nothing, I thought you were younger."
She spoke with dry sarcasm.
"Yes, because it's perfectly normal to send girls even younger than us into an enemy nation undercover during a century long war."
I tossed her a beer and walked back.
"Yeah, yeah, wise ass. So why were you three allowed?"
"I'm the princess, I can do whatever I want as long as my father doesn't counter me. And all three of us are trained combatants, I wouldn't bring someone useless along with me."
I couldn't logically counter her points. All my knowledge was from the show.
"Fair enough."
We didn't talk more as the memory started.
Thankfully, the enchanted mirror can show the memory in 3rd person or 1st person, so I could show Azula the whole scene.
It took an hour all told with all the pauses I had to make to explain certain parts and reasons with her.
She was quite the genius tactically speaking and praised or insulted my choices.
I didn't explain my powers, but she got the gist of it from watching.
I honestly wasn't surprised by how excited she got at it all and the fact that I could actually smell her arousal with my enhanced sense of smell, but I wasn't here to get her horny.
I paused and focused on the death I caused, showing her the fragility of life and of the ones that fell behind.
She couldn't just mentally overlook the blood and corpses this time, it was shoved in her face.
After she was knocked out, she saw the final charge of the Dai Lee, the bloody and vicious, tooth and nail clawing battle.
I was happy to see her actually looking introspective at it all, even if she was still aroused.
When it finished playing, she turned to look at me.
"So you can become a tiger and that monster?"
"Mhm, it's called a Nundu."
"Can you show me?"
I raised an eyebrow at that.
"I can, why?"
She looked me in the eyes with a difficult look.
"Because I need to see it."
At her expression, I understood.
'Ah, she has too much pride. She needs confirmation of how outclassed she is to surrender without another fight.'
"We need to go back to the training room for the big one, I don't wish to damage my home."
"Then let's go."
I nodded and stood up but paused when she didn't get up.
"Well?"
"What do you mean well?"
"Where's my palanquin? You expect this princess to walk?"
My eyebrow twitched and my hand lashed out like a claw to grab her head and lift her up.
"No, I expect you to fly."
"Ow, ow, ow! This is no way to treat a princess!"
I was about to comment on that until I saw the happy smile on her face.
'Heh, so she can make a joke? And is she actually enjoying being manhandled?'
I walked out of the room with a flailing princess trapped in my grip before putting her down.
"Oh? We didn't go anywhere?"
I rolled my eyes and turned into tiger form.
"Rawr."
She looked surprised by the change but recovered and reached a hand out to feel my fur, but I didn't feel like being patient, so I moved my head under her legs and threw her on my back.
"Hey!"
"Rawr."
"Don't rawr me! And wow this is soft."
I enjoyed the petting as I walked, whatever one might say, a cat is still a cat in some ways.
"I could get used to this."
I paused at that.
'No, you're not getting used to it.'
Deciding to be playful, I took off running and kicked off walls to make it more of an extreme ride.
"Oi! What the hell! *Squeak* s-slow down!"
We made it back to the training room with Azula squeaking cutely and screaming fearfully along the way.
When we got there, I slowed to a walk with a triumphant cat grin as she slumped off my side onto the ground, breathing heavily in exhaustion.
"Rawr?"
"Stupid *huff* oaf."
I chuckled at that but paused when I smelt her arousal had actually increased from that ride and tilted my head in confusion.
'I think this one has an M kink. Would explain why she likes being manhandled.'
I walked past and gave her a sloppy lick to the face before moving past as she shouted and flailed.
"Ew!"
'Ha, so fun to tease.'
The doors slid open, and I caught sight of the two girls we left behind sitting down and catching their breath in tight workout clothes and talking animatedly.
'Huh, they really do look older under those baggy clothes.'
They had worn their canon clothes before, so a lot was hidden, but in tight work out ones, their bodies were clear to see.
Mai was wearing a sports bra and yoga pants, showing she had round C cup breasts, a narrow and toned waist, long legs, and from where I was looking, she had a very full ass.
As for Ty Lee, she was talking while standing on her hands and wearing a sport bra and tight shorts, showing off her perky B cup breasts, her toned and defined but feminine abdominals, full thighs, and very perky butt.
If you're wondering where they got the clothes, well, Menchi and Machi didn't take kindly to me not having more clothing options, or any, for guests.
They both dragged me off with Hisoka following for fun to go shopping and well, I didn't actually suffer all that much.
It was fun because I was with Menchi, and the other two were messing with people for entertainment so I wasn't bored.
But thanks to them, I kept a stocked wardrobe for guests and Gol showed them the changing rooms.
Back to the moment, the two girls both turned to look at me as I entered, with Mai giving me a nod in recognition and Ty Lee... well…
"FLUFFY!"
That.
I sighed and accepted the flying missile with a practiced ease. Ty Lee had nothing on the force Menchi uses in her tackles.
Unlike Menchi however, Ty Lee was much more flexible, and she wrapped around my body like a boneless snake and began petting my head.
And damn if she wasn't good at it.
"Oh whose a fluffy and beautiful cat! You are! You are!"
This girl had cursed hands!
I was forced to the ground by her petting.
Mai gaped for a minute before chuckling at the sight and coming to my rescue.
"Well, how the mighty have fallen huh?"
Ty Lee stuck her tongue out.
"He's a fluffy cat, he's meant to be loved and petted."
Mai went from chuckling to outright laughing now.
'Damn you woman, help me!'
Surprisingly, it was Azula who helped me as she walked in while using a towel Gol probably handed her to wipe her face.
"Ty Lee you fool, that's Jin."
Ty Lee paused her cursed hands and looked up.
"Where's Jin?"
Azula sighed and pointed down.
Ty Lee froze and looked back at me.
"Jin?"
Thanks to her pause, I could turn back.
"Wo!"
Due to how she was on me, when I changed back to human form, she was straddling my waist.
"Did you have fun?"
She froze up.
"Er…um…sorry?"
I smiled kindly at her.
"If only an apology could end wars."
She panicked for a second before getting a sly smile and pressing into my chest cutely.
"I love your eyes~."
I chuckled at her.
"Falling back on seduction? Not bad, but it won't save you."
I slapped her ass and stuck her with a tickling charm, making her squeak and start laughing as she rolled off me.
"Hahahaha what is this hahaha stop it hahahaha."
At Azula's and Mai's questioning gaze, I flipped up and answered.
"Tickling charm, she will feel like someone is tickling her entire lower body at once for a while."
The two blushed slightly and continued looking as Ty Lee rolled around laughing.
While that happened I moved over to a larger space.
"Azula, here's your proof, no more stalling. If you fail to accept after this, I'm erasing your memories and throwing you out."
The girls looked over and Azula nodded.
I took a breath and hunched forward as I went back to tiger form, before I began growing larger and larger, until I reached my full Nundu form.
It wasn't an adult form yet just like my tiger form, but it was getting there.
Mai had seen it before and took a step back while Azula stepped forward.
Due to transforming, my mana was cut off and Ty Lee was free from the charm.
"Scary but cool."
"Wow!"
"Wow indeed, it's even more impressive in person."
I mentally sweat dropped at their comments.
'Is my mind really that perverted?'
Azula approached proudly, Ty Lee curiously, and Mai hesitantly.
Rolling my eyes at them, I let the spikes of my fur smoothen out and I laid down on my stomach.
Even like this, I was still truck sized compared to them.
Azula ran her hand through my mane in wonder.
"It's soft."
I chuckled and moved my massive head to push against her and she laughed honestly as she leaned into it.
"I wanna feel!"
Ty Lee jumped on me and spread wide as she sank into me.
"Ah~ This is like the softest bed in the world."
Even Mai came and sat on my paw, so I lifted her up to my back with a cute squeak.
"Uncool but soft, very, very, soft…."
Azula looked me in the eyes and nodded, so I sent a mental message to Gol and he appeared holding the contract.
Without any more hesitation, she signed her name, and I could relax.
It wasn't stressful to have her in my home with her bending taken away, but it was annoying as I wanted to finish my work.
For the next hour, I just laid that as the three curious girls climbed over my body like playful cubs.
I summoned my iPhone and sent a message about it to Menchi while they were playing, as the device is connected to my soul and Nen, I could use it mentally if I wanted to.
Menchi asked for a selfie so I took one with the girls and I laughed at her response.
It was a mix of what I should do to each one, as well as that I should be stabbed for not unlocking my Nundu form in the Hunter world so she could cuddle with me.
After rolling around and burying the girls under a few tons of fluff for a while, I turned back and sparred against them a bit.
Mai had a killer aim on the target range, and we competed for the bullseye gun vs throwing knives. That ended in my win but only by 1 point on the moving targets.
Ty Lee beat my time on the obstacle courses, and she moved through the invisible to the naked eye string area with a flexibility that made me swallow hard.
I think she wanted to get back at me for the tickle charm because she was putting on one hell of a show.
As for Azula, I gave back her fire bending with a strict warning of what was allowed, and she promised to behave.
The contract would assure that she can't do anything and even without it, I think I finally set it in stone that she would die for challenging me.
I was warming up to the girls, but I can separate logic from emotion easily enough and kill them if needed.
You don't sit next to a wild beast with the expectation that it won't take a bite if you annoy it.
And trust me, my occlumency is the only thing that keeps a leash on my tiger instincts, let along my Nundu ones.
Anyway, with her fire back, she wanted to spar so I allowed it.
Even without lethal spells, I wasn't something she could match.
Sure in close combat she actually surpassed me as I don't have real hand to hand fighting skills, but my guns worked fine from close-mid-long range combat.
I even had the other two join Azula and turn it into a fun 1 V 3. The result was my win, but it was fun.
We made it enjoyable with the lethality of the match removed.
Well, I wasn't being lethal anyway.
Mai's knives and Azula's lightning still could do damage if they actually hit me, not that I would let them.
We hit the showers after that because I do actually like to shower, and I made them a meal.
Sil was technically still on his vacation time and despite him trying to help, I didn't need the help.
The poor elf has an addiction to creating more drinks and even on his vacation, you can find him in a room on his own experimenting.
It was actually a bit intimidating to walk in when he was working.
I felt like he was about to make the power puff girls with all those colorful beakers and his slightly manic laughter.
Moving on, we sat down to eat, and Mai raised her hand.
"Yes Mai?"
"Not that I'm not having fun, and damn this is good food, but you never answered what you planned to do with us."
The other two looked up at that as well.
"War prisoners?" (Azula)
"Sex slaves?" (Ty Lee)
Everyone turned to look at Ty Lee with blank faces.
"Hey! It's an honest question! He's all hunky, there's a beautiful secret mansion, and we're three hot and sexy women trapped in his control."

Now you have regained your balance, but I can see our time is coming to an end."

"I shall have to move on in the coming day."

Again my eyes widened.

She asked me to thank you for changing the fate of my niece along with freeing the souls of many others who were in similar roles to her.
And if she is right, then I too wish to thank you."
Here his smile turned sad.
"I had abandoned Zuko and Azula to the hands of my cruel younger brother due to my grief from losing my son. I ran away and left them to suffer.
I could never truly forgive myself for that, and I have never stopped trying to make it up to Zuko by guiding him toward finding himself.
As for Azula, I could never think of a place to start with her, and I even decided it would be best to put her down to end her suffering.
But somehow, you freed her, and for that, I cannot thank you enough.

Iroh bowed his head, almost hitting the table, until I reached out and pushed him back up gently.

I marveled at the feeling.
I couldn't access any magic or Nen, but then again, I felt like I was both real and illusory at the same time.

Ok, so the spirit world wasn't fun.
Imagine Alice in Wonderland, but on psychedelic drugs.
Nothing made sense in the spirit world, but it was kinda cool in some ways.
Thankfully, I had Iroh to guide and teach me.
I'm not sure if we spent a few minutes, or a few years in the spirit state, but when we returned, I felt like my mind snapped back into place like a rubber band, and almost nothing had changed.
Iroh taught me how to enter and exit the spirit state.
Unlike the Ancient One from MCU, I can't just hit someone and force out their spirit, it doesn't work like that.
I assume she developed a special technique to do it.
You can only do it on others when you hold no malicious intent and there is some form of trust established.
As for myself, I can exit my body and spend years in my thoughts, but I cannot train any of my abilities from my body.
I could always use it like a 'Pause' button, but as a weak spirit, if I encountered any other beast or monster, I would die as easily as a piece of grass being stepped on.
My soul is simply young and not enhanced in any real way.
The best I could do was use energy bending to lower my presence by sucking in my soul's presence.
Anyway, thanks to Iroh, I now knew all the main points of Energy Bending, and it made me happy to be able to leave the world in peace with it.
I shared a final cup of tea with him on my last day and he left me with simple parting words.

I bowed from the waist to the old man in respect.
"Thank you master."
I truly found this old man to be a shining stable star.
He had understood pain, suffering, grief, poverty, glory, wrath, ambition, pride, and so much more.
And in the end, he came out wishing to become a shoulder for others to lean on.
He is no god, and he is as human as the rest, but he is wise beyond anyone else I've met.
I learned much from him, from astral projection to tea making.
I still never reached his level of tea, but I could now make tea that could make people feel a sense of peace and relaxation.
To calm down ones rampant emotions, to make one slow down.
So it was with these lessons, and a relaxed mind, body, and soul, that I stepped through a glowing door of light, and left behind the world of the avatar for a time.
It was one interesting side adventure.
