About the story

Some of you might be wondering of all the wonderful Spyro stories out there, why did you choose to work on this one? What makes this one special? Spyro Bridge Across Worlds is a story that I fell in love with, that convinced me to create a account here. Without this story I wouldn't have met all of my wonderful friends in the first place. It is what started me on the path of becoming a writer and writing stories of my own. One of my biggest dreams was to one day create a collab story with Tallonran, involving my character Crimburn interacting with Tallonran's character Zach the White Dragon.

Sadly it was never meant to be, Tallonran disappeared after January 27th, 2015 on Deviantart. His picture he ever uploaded there was a kite he posted on March 31st, 2014. His last update to his story Spyro Bridge Across Worlds is May 31st, 2013. His story sits unfinished at 21 chapters total. It was published on November 9th, 2009. Tallonran's last post was on January 27th, 2015 in reply to a question that Maze-eye asked about the story on his December 1st, 2014 DA journal. No one in the Spyro community knows what happened to him.

I have tried several times to contact him to ask him about the story, when it will return. I also asked if I could continue the story that he made, but all I got was silence. In 2016 I decided to remake Spyro Bridge Across Worlds in my own style. For several years afterwards I tried to contact him since I started work on the story, but again I got no response from him at all. At this point in time I don't think he is coming back, he has been gone for seven years. All I can do is to continue to work on my remake to give this story a proper ending.

Zach as a character gave me the inspiration to create my own dragon character called Crimburn. Crimburn has his own stories, but they are currently unfinished as I am having a bit of difficulty with writer's block. I can create chapters beyond the first one easily but getting that perfect first chapter is something I struggle with. I just got the introduction for Spyro Bridge Across Worlds Remake fleshed out on December 23rd, 2022.

I hope you guys enjoy reading this story of mine, I will add more chapters as time goes on. All my chapters are handwritten on two sheets of lined paper before being edited in Word to add more scenes and text that was not in the handwritten versions. This requires a lot of time to put this together, but for me I can generate ideas more easily this way.
