Dylan(7), David(6), Peter(6), Riley(24), Annabelle(57), Emily(47)

On July 9 of 1912 and It was a warm sunny day in California, Dylan and David were at the park while their mothers sat at the bench chatting. "Come on, Davie!" Dylan shouts.

"I'm coming!" David shouted back as they ran to the swing set.

They were laughing and having fun like most little boys do.

"You get on first," Dylan offers. "I'll push!"

"Ok!" David smiled.

He sat down on the swing.

"Ready?" Dylan asked him.

"Yep!" David grins.

"Ok…" Dylan spoke as he went behind David.

Dylan was about to give David a push, until they heard another little boy cry in pain. They looked over to see a small boy with light blonde hair, sitting on the ground while holding his knee, so they ran over to the boy.

"Hey, are you ok?" Dylan asked.

The little boy shook his head as he wiped the tears away.

"No, that boy pushed me!" The boy spoke while pointing at a kid who was at the top of the slide, with a smug smile.

Dylan and David knew this kid was trouble, even for a 7 year old.

"Don't be such a wimp!" The smug boy mocked.

Dylan and David glared up at him.

"Leave him alone!" Dylan shouts.

"Yeah!" David also shouted.

The bratty boy just rolled his eyes.

"Losers!" He called out before running off.

"Idiot." Dylan mutters.

Dylan helps the blonde boy up.

"Where's your mommy?" David asked him.

"Over there." The boy pointed at a blonde woman sitting on the bench, talking to Riley and Annabelle. "She's really nice, I love my mommy."

They awed at him.

"We love our mommies too." David adds.

Dylan chuckled at them and turned to the boy.

"What's your name?" Dylan asked.

"Peter." The boy responded. "Peter Jacobs."

"Cool!" Dylan smiled. "I'm Dylan Zuko and this is my best friend David Del Fuego."

"Hi!" David waved with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you guys." Peter said.

"You too." Dylan adds. "Wanna play with us?"

"Really?" Peter smiled as his eyes lit up.

They awed at how adorable he was, granted he was only 6.

"Yeah!" David smiled. "We want you to be our best friend!"

"Thank you so much!" Peter said.

Dylan draped his arm around him.

"No problem, kid." Dylan replied with a smile. "And that kid is not gonna be picking on you ever again since you got us."

Peter smiled up at him.

"Thank you, Dylan!" Peter said once again.

Dylan chuckled at him.

"Don't mention it, buddy." He tells him. "C'mon, we were gonna go on the swing."

"Let's go!" David shouts.

"Yay!" Peter cheered.

The three boys ran over to the swing set while three of their mothers smiled at them playing.
