Author's Note

Hello, I know it's been over a year since my last chapter update for On My Own, and the last thing any of you, my lovely readers, need is another author's note.

Times have been tough for everyone, and 2021 was unforgiving on me. After posting my last chapter back in April, the following month and the next few ones was hit with one death after another, and other issues that would've torn my family apart ensued. I had to step back from writing because I was trying to cope with everything while pretending to be okay. My mental health is a subject I'm not fond of sharing, but I can assure you I'm fine now. Therefore, I will be taking a small break from writing my own work and maybe focus on beta-ing some works from other authors here on FF, at least until I can finally get my bearings back to writing my own stories.

Until then, I thank all of you who've stuck by me and this story. I'll remove this note when the new chapter is posted. So, until then, thank you.
