On the lake's shore, at the edge of the forest, stood a small house, more like a shed. Single small window in the shed was shattered, and the door was broken. In general, the shed looked badly damaged. Inside it, on a small bed, on a white sheet, lay a dark-skinned girl in a white sundress. Her dark skin shone beautifully in the sun. Her long black hair was spread out on a white pillow. Her eyes were closed. Her chest rose and fell calmly in the rhythm of sleep's breathing.
A tall man stood over her, smiling at the Teddy bear that stood on the table next to the bed.
"Hello, Bon-Bon."
The girl was silent.
"I see here our mutual friend," - Kai grabbed the bear and put it on the girl's stomach.
The girl gave no sign of awakening. Next to the bed, leaning against the shattered wall, another girl moaned.
"What's wrong with her?" Kai asked the girl sitting against the wall.
"She's asleep."
"Why doesn't she wake up?"
"She's joined her life with another person's. As long as that person lives, she sleeps. She said that some psychopath she knew had done it before."
"Remember," smiled the man.
Kai drew his dagger, raised it over Bonnie, and lowered it. But suddenly the point of the dagger stopped in the folds of the girl's dress, the man turned to the unknown girl.
"Hey, is there anyone else in the Bennet blood besides Bonnie?"
"No, she's the only one left."
"Hmm, in this case, this is not a very good situation," the man stuck a knife in the sitting girl.
Kai walked over to Bonnie, picked her up, and slung her small figure over his shoulder.
Smiling cheerfully and humming to himself, Kai came out of the shed with Bonnie slung over his shoulder.
