A.N. I am skipping the episode Xana's Kiss in my story because that was another one I didn't really care for. I will be adding my own chapter soon to make up for the two I have skipped.
After a successful trip to Sector Five the gang were in the lab where Jeremy was going over what they had collected. "Well… These are codes for Xana's sub-systems. I cracked them three weeks ago." Jeremy said before getting excited. "This one looks like the source code to a virus!" He added before turning towards Aelita. "If the virus inside you is anything like this one, I might be able to free you from Xana!" He finished. "You mean.. Like soon?" Aelita said very excitedly. "Yeah!" Jeremy answered. "Okay. We are out of here." Odd said, grabbing Ulrich's arm. "There's a big climbing competition tonight. Gotta practice." Odd finished. "I already told you, I'm not doing it!" Urlich yelled pulling his arm back. "Really? Why not?" Yumi asked. "Because.." Urlich replied. "At least come and watch me!" Odd stated. "Come on, Ulrich. For once Odd's found a sport where being scrawny is a plus!" Yumi said, leading Ulrich towards the elevator. "Hey! I am not scrawny! I am svelte!" Odd yelled.
"Jeremy, I am going to stay here with you and Aelita while you work. Honestly I don't care much about sport type stuff." Josh said sitting on the edge of the holo-system. "I can understand that." Jeremy said as he began to type.
Meanwhile Ulrich and Yumi are watching Odd and Herb climb the wall where Odd was easily able to get to the top. "I AM KING OF THE WORLD" Odd yelled standing on top of the rock wall. "Okay, Stern. The wall." Jim said. "Ummm, you see, jim..." Ulrich said, stumbling over his words. William walked over. "First to the top." William said motioning to Ulrich with a nod. After a long silence Ulrich finally replied. "Sorry, I don't climb." "Are you scared?" William asked, teasing him. "No, I'm not scared! I-" Ulrich stated. "Come on, Stern. Show us what ya got. Get up that wall, hurry up!" Jim stated. Ulrich looked up at the wall as it loomed menacingly in front of him.
Back in the lab Jeremy was getting ready to run a test. "Okay, Ready? I am going to launch the test." Jeremy said and both Josh and Aelita were watching the screen. A window popped open showing Aelita's avatar in orange as a small circle visited multiple locations before finishing. "YES! It worked! It's unbelievable!" Jeremy said, jumping up excitedly, getting out of the chair and grabbing Aeltia's hands. "We did it! We've got the antivirus." Aeltia said spinning around a bit with Jeremy. "Great Great. Now Jeremy you sure this thing won't have any issues? Like just because it passes a test doesn't mean it will work." Josh said, still sitting during this. "Josh I am sure it will work." Jeremy said. "Jeremy, what if you injected it into me right now? We could surprise the others!" Aeltia said. "But isn't that a little risky?" Jeremy asked. "Well It will be just as risky any other time." Josh said, pointing out the obvious. "Okay. Go to the scanner. I'll start the process!" Jeremy said getting back in his chair, typing.
Meanwhile Ulrich was attempting to climb the wall, but made the mistake of looking down at the ground, his vision spinning a bit before he lost his grip and fell down onto the mat. "Hey, Stern! What's the matter with you?!" Jim asked Odd and Yumi went to his side. "Oh, I get it. A little nap before lunch, right?" Odd asked jokingly. "Leave. Me. Alone." Ulrich stated upset. "You've got vertigo! Is that it?" Yumi asked before Urlich got up and burst through the doors leaving.
Back at the Factory Aeita was in the scanner room while Josh and Jeremy were in the lab. "'You ready?" Jeremy asked down to Aelita. "Yes! Do it!" Aeltia said after stepping into the scanner. Jeremy pressed the enter key starting the program. On the screen, her avatar loaded up as the program showed it processing before a constant beeping began. "Jeremy somethings not right." Josh said looking at the reading on the screen. "Your right! We have to get her out of the scanner." Jeremy said jumping out of his chair and hurrying down to the scanner, that he began to pry open. As he opened it, bright white light flooded into the room before Aelita fell out of it into his arms. "Aelita, say something." Jeremy said worried. "Something." She said jokingly. "If you can make jokes as bad as Odd you have to be okay." Jeremy replied. "Jeremy, I am going to stay here and analyze what happened, like yes the antivirus seems to have worked but I don't have a good feeling about those readings." Josh said. "Okay. I am going to go back to campus with Aelita." Jeremy said smiling."Okay." Josh said getting into the chair as they left.
Back on Campus Odd and Yumi were looking for Ulrich when Aelita and Jeremy showed up. "We've got great news!" Aelita said. "We found the anti-virus and I have already given it to Aelita." Jeremy added. "Thanks great!" Yumi said in surprise. "All we have to do is shutdown the supercomputer and it's bye bye Xana." Aelita stated. "And Josh too.." Odd said looking down. "Oh yea.. I almost forgot he needs the supercomputer for energy. Maybe I could figure something out for him before we shut it down." Jeremy said realizing this big issue now that Odd pointed it out. "So where's Ulrich? I want to give him the good news." Aelita said. "He ran off after the climbing competition." Yumi said. "Hm well he does go to the forest to mope." Jeremy stated. "Will go look." Odd said going with Yumi.
Meanwhile Jeremy and Aelita went into Jeremy's room where Jeremy was writing up a conclusion to his Lyoko Log. Aelita gasped slightly and held her head. "Aelita? Aelita you okay?" Jeremy asked, turning towards her worried. Aelita took her hand away from her face in a look of distress. "I I I I" She repeated slightly trying to come up with an answer. "Do you think its the anti-virus?" Jeremy asked. "No. It's just an energy slump. I'll go and lie down in my room for a bit." Aelita said getting up and leaving his room.
As she was walking down the hall she put her hand to her head again before they began to flicker and grow fuzzy. Aelita gasped looking down at them before one totally disappeared. She began to walk back towards Jeremy's room folding her arms in case anyone would see her but suddenly her whole body began to flicker before going totally invisible. She opened Jeremy's down. "Jeremy this is awful!" Aelita said as she walked in.
A.N. Unlike in the show I don't think logically everything should disappear. So yes there is just a set of Aelita clothes basically just floating.
"It sure is! Xana's attacking!" He said before turning to face her. "Aelita!? You're, you're invisible." Jeremy said shocked. "Could this be Xana's attack?" Aelita asked. "Hm.. Let's go to the factory."
In the forest Ulrich was leaning against a tree when he began to hear noises around him when Yumi and Odd walked up. "So back to your usual cool self yet?" Odd asked. "Eh not one hundred percent." Ulrich replied. "Well this might help you to quit sulking. We have some incredible news." Yumi said before they all heard hustling behind them and a wolf came out of the bushes. "Uh oh, What's that? A nice little doggy I hope." Odd said staring at the possessed wolf. "No. A big bad wolf, Odd" Ulirch said staring as more approached. "When your faced with a pack of wolves what do you do?" Odd asked. "You run!" Yumi yelled as they all began to run. As they ran they approached a tall cliff that they would have to climb to escape.
As Jeremy and Aelita went down to the lab, Josh was just finishing his work on figuring out what happened during the procedure. "Aelita? Are you invisible?!" Josh gasped seeing her floating clothes. "Yea.." Aelita said softly. "Head down to the scanner Aelita" Jeremy said. "Okay." She replied heading down. "Jeremy I have to tell you something. The Anti-virus during injection bugged up. Something happened. I am not exactly what damage it caused tho." Josh said "Also I will head down to the scanners as well so you can send us to Lyoko to deactivate the tower." He added before going down with Aelita. "I am in the scanner Jeremy." Aeltia said before the scanner closed and he ran a scan. "Josh is right, it's the Anti-virus. I will have to deactivate it." Jeremy said. "Josh get in a scanner I am sending you both in to deactivate the tower." Jeremy said, beginning the process.
Meanwhile Odd, Ulrich and Yumi began to climb the cliff although Ulrich was falling behind the other two due to his vertigo. "Ulrich just don't look down." Odd said trying to give advice to help him. Yumi reached out her hand to grab his just as he began to fall. Once they were all at the top Yumi called Jeremy. "Jeremy we have a big problem here. Were cornered by a pack of wolves possessed by Xana." She explained. "I just sent Josh and Aelita to Lyoko to deal with the tower. But I would be alot more comfortable if one of you guys made it here." Jeremy replied before Yumi hung up. Just when they thought they were safe a wolf appeared out of the trees. "Hey look a flying wolf." Odd joked as it appeared them causing Ulrich and back up until he began to fall off the cliff landing on top of one of the wolves revealing them to just be images created by Xana. "Its a decoy… There just images." Ulrich said getting up and hitting another one causing it to disappear. Odd did the same to the one that was cornering them.
On Lyoko Josh and Aelita were virtualized into the Ice Sector. "Okay just follow the path and it will lead you right to the tower." Jeremy said bring up two vehicles for them. "Sorry Josh, still don't exactly feel comfortable with your handling of the vehicles yet" Jeremy added as the Overbike and Overwing appeared.
In the forest Yumi, Odd and Ulrich were cornered by the last three wolves, Urlich attempted to kick at one to make it disappear only for it to dodge. "This one's real." Ulrich said backing up. "So are these two." Yumi added before here phone rang. "Jeremy?" She answered her phone. "How's it going?" Jeremy asked. "Sure is no picnic over here." Yumi replied. "Well hang on, Aelita and Josh are almost at the activated tower." He replied.
Back on Lyoko Aelita and Josh raced towards the tower which was in a cave. Once they got close Aelita got off the Overwing and Josh got off the Overbike before they both ran inside the cave. Josh waited near the tower as Aelita began to enter it only to hit into the tower's side wall without passing through it. As she hit it she gasped and hubbed her head. "What's going on?" She murmured touching the tower wall. "Jeremy we have got a problem." She said. "Aelita what's wrong?" Josh asked, noticing her being unable to enter the tower. "I am not sure. You better deactivate the tower." Aelita said moving out of his way. Josh walked up to the tower and entered it floating up to the upper platform, he then deactivated it and went back out to Aelita. "Josh protect Aelita, it seems Xana wasn't too happy that we deactivated the tower and I can't devirtualize Aelita because she can't enter the towers."
Jeremy called Yumi. "Yumi we have a slight problem. You three better get back here quickly. The Anti-virus I injected into Aelita has modified her virtual signature and the towers don't recognize her anymore. Lucky Josh was able to deactivate the tower. But until I can deactivate the Anti-virus I can't devirtualie Aelita." Jeremy said. "We will head over right away." Yumi replied. "Good because Xana isn't too happy Josh deactivated that tower. " Jeremy said before ending the call and getting to work.
On Lyoko two megatanks had appeared near the mouth of the cave. "Josh be careful there's a megatank approaching your location." Jeremy said as a megatank rolled down the path towards them. "Aelita stay back, I will distract it." Josh said jumping over the top of it and beginning to run towards the cave opening drawing it away from Aelita. The megatank stopped and began to fire its laser wall making sure to miss Aelita. Josh managed to jump out of the way just in time to get hit by the laser wall of the other megatank that Jeremy had failed to warn him about due to working on removing the Anti-virtus.
As Yumi, Odd and Ulrich arrived Josh was just climbing up into the lab. "Odd, Yumi and Ulrich head down to the scanners now." Jeremy said as the Skipazhoa appeared on his screens and began to approach Aeltia's location. Aelita moved back a bit at seeing it but then used her creativity to freeze it in place before going around it towards the cave entrance where the megatanks were waiting forcing her to move back.
Meanwhile Odd, Yumi and Ulrich virtualized nearby within view of the cave. "Hurry up, Aelita is trapped between two megatanks and the Scyphozoa." Jeremy said. The three quickly ran towards the cave and soon encountered the megatanks. In the cave the Skipazhoa eventually broke free of the ice and quickly grabbed Aelita making her let out a gasp as she went limp as it began to steal her memory.
Odd and Yumi took on one megatank together, as they were running towards it to get close enough to hit it the other megatank managed to take out Yumi. "Ulrich you got that one?" Odd asked as he shot a few laser arrows at the one in front of him, three of the arrows bouncing off and finally the forth one hitting its mark just as the megatank was closing. "Yeah. Go help Aelita." Ulrich said using his triplicate to confuse the megatank as it could not decide which image of him to attack. Finally Urlich plunged his sword into the eye on the megatank destroying it.
Odd ran into the cave and began to fire laser arrows at the Skipazhoa causing it to drop her and retreat deeper into the cave. "You alright princess?" Odd asked to which Aelita just responded with a weak nod. "Aelita I just managed to deactivate the Anti-virus you can enter the tower and come home now." Jeremy said. "Odd and Ulrich I will devirtualize you now." He added.
Later that day the gang was eating dinner. "Jeremy you were so close. I am sure with a bit more data you will succeed." Josh said patting him on the back. "Yea. But what about you. Even if we free Aelita, we still have to free you, your one of us after all." Jeremy said. "Well maybe I can start doing some research into that." Josh replied. "So Aelita what was it like to be invisible?" Odd asked. "I always wanted to know what it was like to be invisible like Sue from the fantastic four." He added, causing the whole group to laugh.
A.N: Welp that's a new chapter slightly late be my personal informal schedule of one chapter at least a month but oh well. I hope you all enjoyed it.
