All For One
Legacy, what are the chances we can take everyone except All For One at once? Lee thought, using his Quirk and his neural implant to talk to her fast enough to not miss anything that was happening.
"Low," Legacy replied. "With All For One, you would last maybe a minute. A minute and a half if you were lucky."
Let's hope I'm lucky tonight, then, Lee thought, preparing to step out, only to freeze as Stitch, Inkling, and Instant all walked into view from just down the street.
Lee felt panic rise instantly. How long had they been there? Had they been watching him and his friends? Did they know where Momo and the others were hidden right now? Lee's eyes flicked to the broken wall Momo and the others were still hidden behind. He couldn't risk it. He had to intervene. Now. He stepped out just as All For One's head rose slightly.
"Ah, there you are," All For One said calmly.
Then, his hands rose, catching All Might's fists, the two fighting to overpower each other. All Might was not smiling.
"I'll have you return my student, All For One!" All Might snarled.
"Have you come to kill me a second time, All Might?" All For One asked.
Then, the point of impact between them exploded outward in a shockwave, throwing everyone else away, except Lee, who was out of its range, Momo and the other U.A. students, who were in protected by the wall, and Instant, who walked away from the explosion at the speed it spread outward.
"It took you long enough to find us," All For One was saying. "It's only five kilometers from the bar to here. And yet it was at least thirty seconds after I sent the Nomu that you arrived. You've gotten weaker, All Might."
"You're one to talk," All Might said, standing. "It's kind of difficult to ignore that fancy life support mask you've got on. Aren't you over-exerting yourself?" He began to bounce on one foot. "I won't repeat the mistake I made five years ago! You hear me!? I will take young Bakugo back! And I will make certain you're locked up for the rest of your sad life! Right along with your dispicable League of Villains!"
He exploded forward to attack All For One, only for All For One to calmly raise a hand, his arm beginning to bulge from wrist to shoulder.
"Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you," All For One said.
"Move!" Legacy warned, Lee streaking out from in front of All For One, circling around and stopping beside Midoriya in under two second.
"This will be hard for us both!" All For One said, a massive explosion of what looked like air exploding out of his palm, Lee watching from the shadows at the edge of the wall.
Then, A second after the blast began and impacted with All Might's fist, All Might shot away, exploding through the city.
"Hm," All For One grunted. "Air Cannon, plus Spring-like Limbs, Kinetic Booster times four, Strength Enhancer times three. What a delightful combination. Maybe a few more enhances next time."
"Nine," Lee breathed. "Nine Quirks at once." Legacy, could our armor survive that?
"No," Legacy said. "We'd be killed in one blast."
"All Might!" Bakugo shouted, just as the dust cleared and he realized what had happened.
"Don't you worry," All For One said. "It'll take more than that to kill him. Get off the battlefield Tomura. And take that child with you." His fingers suddenly turned black with red circuit-board-like lines running through them before his fingers extended into spikes, more spikes sticking off of the backs of them in intervals, the fingers stabbing into the unconscious warp gate villain. "Kurogiri, warp them away."
"Careful!" Magne said. "One of those heroes messed with him, and now, he's unconscious! I'm not sure what's going on, but if you can teleport, why don't you get us out of here?"
"My Warp power is still new, Magne," All For One said. "There is much I need to learn about it. Its distance is limited, and while he can teleport to specific coordinates, to and from my own location."
Magne looked to Kurogiri, who was twitching and arching off the ground, as though in agony, despite being silent.
"Or with focus, to or from someone I am very familiar with," All For One continued. "That is all. It's easier to have Kurogiri do it."
Just then, the darkness around Kurogiri's head expanded into a warp gate.
"Forcible Quirk Activation!" All For One said. "Leave this place."
"What about you?" Tomura asked.
Just then, All Might exploded into the air, then punched backward to launch himself at All For One again.
"You're not thinking, Tomura," All For One said, drifting into the air calmly. "There remains much room for you to grow."
"You're mine!" All Might shouted, his punch exploding into All For One's forearm, kicking up a violent wind.
"Master..." Tomura said.
"Let's go Shigaraki," Compress said. "While our masked lead is keeping All Might entertained. Claim your prize."
All of the villains turned to look at Bakugo, who grinned, sweat pouring down his body.
"This is gonna be fun!" Bakugo grinned, readying himself.
All Might moved to save him. "Young Bakugo don't!"
All For One sent his finger spikes at All Might, forcing him to retreat. He stabbed at him again and again, forcing All Might to continuously dodge them. The villains began to attach Bakugo rapidly. Twice was using a measuring tape from his bracelet, Himiko was slashing with a knife, Compress was trying to touch him in order to shrink him into a marble. Bakugo was doing well avoiding them and using his Quirk to blast the ground, but he wasn't attacking directly, whether to save energy or because of the law saying he couldn't, Lee wasn't sure.
"I'm coming for you!" All Might shouted, only for All For One's finger spikes to stab into his back.
"I don't think so, because I am here!" All For One said, dragging him backward for a moment before flinging him into a half-destroyed building behind All For One.
"Do you all have a plan?" Lee asked.
"Yes!" Midoriya nodded.
"Then do it," Lee said, just as Instant looked over at him, flames flicking from his eyes. "Fuck."
Instant didn't move, however, and when Stitch moved to send his threads into the ground, Instant stopped him, shaking his head. Then, Instant gestured for Lee to intervene on Bakugo's behalf. Lee narrowed his eyes, clenching his fists.
"Do whatever you have planned now," Lee growled. "The fast one knows I'm here. If he interferes, I'll stop him."
"Right," Midoriya said, quickly beginning to explain his plan to the others.
As he did, All Might continued to try to fight All For One, but he was holding back. If he went all out, Bakugo, along with Lee and the others, would all be in serious danger, though All Might only knew about Bakugo.
"Are you holding back against me?" All For One asked. "Trying to keep the boy from getting blown away? You've put yourself in quite a predicament. How will the hero prevail?"
"Are you ready?" Lee asked.
"Yes," Midoriya nodded. "Let us know when he's got some distance from them."
Lee nodded, raising a hand, careful to keep Instant from seeing it. Then, just as Bakugo got away from the ones attacking him, basically all but the three thorns in Lee's side, Lee swung his hand downward. Midoriya exploded off the wall behind them at the same time as Iida exploded forward with his Recipro Burst, Eijiro's hardened body exploding through the wall. Instantly, Todoroki formed a gigantic ice ramp, allowing Midoriya and Iida to explode up it rapidly and launch off the end of it, streaking through the air. All For One moved to stop them with his finger spikes, but All Might slammed a back fist into his side, launching him away.
"Come on!" Eijiro shouted, holding his hand out to Bakugo.
Then, in a massive explosion, Bakugo launched himself up to meet the three airborne heroes-in-training, using a second to correct his course. As soon as Bakugo grabbed Eijiro's hand, Lee picked up Momo and Todoroki under his arms, electricity arcing from his eyes as he shot Instant one last glare before taking off, exploding away from the battlefield rapidly. He glanced up at their friends as he ran, only to see Compress shooting through the air. However, before he could reach the students, Mt. Lady grew into her giant form, Compress crashing into her face instead.
"The rescue's priority," Mt. Lady said, beginning to fall. "Go home...you dumb kids."
Then, she crashed to the ground, unconscious. Lee glanced back at the villains as Spinner and Twice were moving toward Magne, apparently the person who could fling people like he had Compress, only for a small elderly hero in a white and yellow costume to flash around the battlefield at speeds that would make him a blurred streak to everyone besides Lee and Instant, knocking Spinner, Twice, and Magne out in under a second before slowing to a stop with a jet of air from his left foot, landing lightly on the ground. Then, All For One used his Forcible Quirk Activation to make Magne's Quirk pull all of the unconscious male villains scattered around the battlefield into Himiko, knocking her through the warp Gate, throwing Magne through after them. Then, Tomura, who tried to resist, was pulled through before the warp gate closed. Lee turned back to the front as All Might moved to engage All For One again, focusing on not running into anything, and instead moved to meet Midoriya and the others as they landed. Lee slowed to a stop beside them and set Momo and Todoroki on their feet, both sighing in relief, Momo leaning on Lee for a moment while she regained her composure from the after effects of moving that speed with him without her brain being able to keep up while Todoroki was trembling from not having done it before.
"You okay?" Eijiro asked.
"I'm never letting you carry me again," Todoroki said.
Lee snorted, shaking his head. "Come on. We need to keep moving."
Midoriya and the others all nodded and they kept moving, at a normal person's speed this time, though Lee did toss his dress shoes aside, as the soles were completely gone already. After a few minutes, they blended in with the crowd, reaching the station after a little while, finding dozens of pros helping with the evacuation. However, just as they reached it, a news feed turned on from a pair of news choppers, showing All Might, bleeding from the mouth and half his head reverted to his true form, costume ripped apart, and shoulders heaving with his gasps for breath, kneeling before All For One, who's mask was smashed and his left arm's sleeve ripped off at the elbow, but who was otherwise unharmed. His face was terrible. His mouth was hidden behing his life support collar, but everything from his nose up was entirely scar tissue. His face was juse gone. The camera zoomed in as All For One raised a hand, his arm swelling. Then, he fired a blast of air at a building. The camera swung around, focusing on a civilian just as All Might got between the blast and the civilian, using a punch from his left hand to block the blast, only for it to explode and leave All Might in his true form, blood coating his left hand's battered knuckles and fingers, his entire body trembling. The camera zoomed in, showing the blood running down All Might's face.
"Shit!" Lee swore. "I...don't know if he can with this, guys."
Suddenly, everyone began to notice that All Might wasn't his muscular form, beginning to freak out about him having been shrunk down to that form. As they watched, All Might stood up straight, forming a fist, which began to shine. However, after a moment of All For One speaking, which they couldn't hear, a look of shocked dismay filled All Might's face, his mouth hanging open. Panic began to fill the crowd as All Might stood motionless on screen, arms hanging limply in front of him. He was frozen. Whatever All For One had said had broken All Might's spirit. As the fear turned to desperation, the crowd began to cheer and call out to him. A useless gesture, but they didn't know what else to do. They all knew the stakes. If All Might lost, the city was doomed. That villain was untouchable if he could beat All Might. Midoriya and Bakugo even joined in. Lee grit his teeth. He had to help. Even if it was only a distraction, and only enough to snap All Might out of it. Even if it was only one punch. He had to do something. However, as he turned to run back, Momo caught his arm, staring at the screen.
He looked back up just as shining gold lightning began to fly from All Might's right arm as it suddenly expanded into its muscled version, only his right arm. Then, he crouched, readying himself for a final strike. He pulled his fist back and the lightning intensified. All For One rose into the air, preparing to attack, only to use the blast instead to block Endeavor's flames. Edgeshot, the fifth-ranked pro hero appeared behind Endeavor. His Quirk was Foldabody, a Quirk that allowed him to flatten his body entirely. Endeavor yelled something, probably encouragement to All Might, and All For One moved to attack them, only for Edgeshot to attack him. All For One avoided it just as Kamui Woods grabbed the unconscious heroes All For One had blasted before and fled, at the same time, Tiger went to get the civilian that was behind All Might. All the while, while Tiger and Kamui Woods were clearing the battlefield of potential collateral damage, Edgeshot was sending flattened body part after flattened body part at All For One, distracting him so that Endeavor could sent massive blasts of fire up at him, only for All For One to effortlessly blast the flames with his Air Cannon, dispersing them.
And still, the crowd was cheering All Might on. Iida and Eijiro had joined in now. Momo was clinging to Lee's arm, knowing that Lee still wanted to go help. As a way to keep himself from doing it, and to try and reassure her that it would be okay, Lee wrapped his arms around her, swallowing his own fear. Then, black lightning flashed along All For One's arm before he sent a massive blast straight down into the ground. The shockwave slammed into everyone, blowing away everyone but All Might. Then, All For One's right arm began to bulge, swelling massively as his suit's sleeve exploded off. What formed was a massive arm formed from dozens of arms melted together with red light shining from some spots in it, twisted, drill-like bone spikes sticking out of it, metal rivets in it here and there and mostly focused around the giant arm's knuckles, pale red tubes running through the arm in some places, and chunks of either metal or stone protruding from it here and there, including one flat-tipped spike-like one at the shoulder. Both he and All Might pulled their arms back, preparing to strike, lightning once again arcing along All Might's arm. Then, All For One shot forward in a blur. Their fists collided in a massive spray of blood just before the space around them actually began to contort and warp. Then, the impact point erupted into a massive blast that scattered a dust cloud they could see from the station into the air.
"He...He won...right?" Momo asked, voice barely a whisper.
Lee tightened his hold on her, clenching his teeth. He had to have. The dust was blown away from the explosion, showing the world their power still trying to fight over each other. Suddenly, a ripple passed over All Might's arm before blood suddenly sprayed out of it in multiple places.
"He redirected the force from All Might's punch back at him," Legacy said.
All Might began to skid backward rapidly, still trying to fend off All For One's strike, only for All For One to rapidly force him backward. All For One began to push harder, more and more blood spraying out of All Might's arm.
"He'll lose his arm," Lee breathed, Momo gasping and covering her mouth.
All Might tipped backward, his left foot rising off the ground. Lee's grip on Momo tightened further and both of her hands clamped down on his arms. Then, All Might swung his foot back to plant it, continuing to skid but fixing his stance so he wasn't about to fall. Then, his leg expanded into its muscular form as his right arm shrunk, stopping them as All Might leaned to his left, out of the way of All For One's punch. Then his leg shrunk as his left arm expanded. All For One's punch breezed past him, barely missing, and he stepped forward, lightning flying along his left arm. Then, his fist collided with All For One's head, knocking him sideways. It smashed the front of All For One's collar, revealing his mouth and the thin mustache above it, but it didn't take out All For One. All For One's left arm began to change, beginning to mutate like his right had, only for All Might's left arm to shrink down, his right, mangled though it was, expanding at the same time as All Might's legs, allowing him to duck under All For One's right arm and explode forward with enough force to set off a literal explosion behind him, then he drilled a solid blow into All For One's face, bending forward to drill him directly into the ground. The explosion was massive, obliterating the ground, shaking the earth all the way at the station, sending the news chopper reeling away from the fight, and forming a tornado that reached to the clouds that Lee turned to make Momo face, both of them watching the actual tornado in shock as gigantic chunks of buildings swirled around it. Then, as it faded, they both turned back to the screen, the entire world seeming to hold its breath as it watched the footage of the crater in silence.
Finally, the dust cleared, revealing All For One lying motionless and All Might standing over him, bent over and blood dripping from his face. Finally, All Might began to tremble, arm slowly rising, trembling and shaking badly, but making it into the air over him before suddenly expanding as it formed a fist. Everyone began to cheer instantly. After a moment, the rest of All Might expanded as well.
"The villain's not moving!" the news reporter announced. "All Might stands victorious! He's saved us yet again!"
All Might nearly collapsed, but caught himself, straightening back up. Then, finally, he lowered his fist and staggered toward Endeavor and the others. Lee sighed as emergency services began to rush to the site of the battle to begin rescue operations and take All For One into custody. Momo turned into Lee, wrapping her arms around him and beginning to cry from relief, Lee holding her tightly and allowing himself to finally relax. Then, as All For One was being loaded into a transport, All Might pointed directly at the camera. The whole world stopped, staring.
"Now..." All Might stopped, turning to look at the camera. "Now...it's your turn."
Lee glanced at Midoriya. The crowd began to cheer, probably thinking he meant it as a warning for other criminals, however, Lee and Midoriya both knew what it meant. All Might was retiring. He was leaving his mantle for Midoriya to claim. The sun appeared from behind the buildings behind them, beginning to light the city at last.
"It's over," Lee said. "He won."
