Aftermath
Lee smiled as he walked into Toru's room, finding her talking with Mina. She looked up at him and gasped.
"Lee!" Toru cheered.
Mina rushed over, hugging him for a few moments before stepping out of the way. Lee walked over, hugging Toru tightly for a few seconds before kissing her.
"How do you feel?" Lee asked.
"I'm still a little tired, but otherwise I feel fine," Toru smiled. "They say I'll be released today."
"That's good," Lee said, sitting beside her, holding an arm out knowingly and allowing Mina to sit in his lap.
"I still can't believe what the news is saying about All Might," Toru said. "He was really a scrawny guy this whole time?"
"Yes," Lee nodded. "And he has officially retired, now that he's apparently burned his Quirk away to nothing and destroyed his body."
"That's terrible!" Toru said. "I watched the fight. I can't imagine what it must have been like watching it live. Imagine if he'd lost."
"For a moment, I thought he would," Lee said. "If Momo hadn't been there to hold me back, I'd have been trying to help All Might fight."
"You'd have gotten yourself killed!" Mina said.
"I know," Lee said. "But still. It seemed so hopeless for a minute. I just felt like I needed to do something. Besides, All For One was after my speed Quirk. He's the one that sent Stitch, Inkling, and Instant, the fast villain, to abduct my sister."
"Then I'm glad All Might took him down," Toru said, taking Lee's hand. "You're safe now."
"All the other villains got away," Lee said.
"We'll deal with them," Toru said. "How's Amy?"
Lee's face fell instantly. "Amy's gone. She overdosed on Heroin. Apparently she'd been doing it for a while, but she finally couldn't take being alive any longer, both because of what Stitch and the other two did to her, and because of the pain of that disease she had. She used her Quirk to try to cure herself, failed, and instead burned it out designing as many things as she could to try to help me. By the time she killed herself, she had burned her Quirk out so bad her suicide note looked like a first grader wrote it."
"I'm...I'm so sorry!" Toru breathed. "Are you okay?"
"No," Lee said. "But I will be. Eventually."
Toru gave his hand a squeeze and Lee smiled, bringing it up to kiss her fingers.
"Where are you staying now?" Toru asked. "I can't imagine your house is fun to be at."
"I've been staying with Momo," Lee said. "She had rooms to spare, and at the time I couldn't think of anywhere else to go."
"At least you got out of your house," Toru said. "I don't suppose you've chosen yet?"
Lee chuckled. "Not yet, no. Sorry."
"It's alright," Toru said.
"Yeah, we don't mind," Mina smiled, hugging him. "Truthfully, me and Toru were talking about it and we're kind of enjoying the competition."
"Really?" Lee asked.
"Mhm," Toru hummed. "We know you're not just playing the field and that you honestly care about each of us and are honestly trying to decide on one, so as long as we don't do anything to directly hurt each other, we're actually enjoying competing for you."
Lee smiled. "I wonder if Momo sees it that way. It sure would be easiest if I didn't have to choose."
"Hey now," Mina said teasingly. "We may enjoy competing but we're not looking to be a harem."
Lee chuckled. "I would never try that. Easiest or not, that's definitely not the type of person I am."
"We know," Toru smiled, just as the doctor walked in.
"Good morning Miss Hagakure," the doctor said. "You're all set to leave whenever you're ready."
"That's great!" Toru cheered. "Thank you so much!"
"You're welcome," the doctor said. "Now, once you get home, call us if you fell like anything isn't right, or if you feel sick at all."
"I will," Toru promised.
The doctor nodded and excused himself and Lee tapped Mina's side, Mina letting him up.
"I'll let you get dressed," Lee said.
"Thank you," Toru smiled. "I'll be out in a minute."
He stepepd outside, Mina following and closing the door behind her. Then, Mina wrapped her arms around his neck, pouting.
"You could have stayed at my house, you know," Mina said.
"Momo's had more room," Lee said.
"I have room," Mina said, then grinned. "There's room in my bed."
Lee felt his cheeks heat up for the first time in a while. "While that may or may not be true, while staying with Momo I get my own room." He gave her a quick kiss then slipped out of her arms just as the door opened and Toru stepped out. "Ready to go home?"
"Completely," Toru said.
Lee nodded and took her hand, Mina taking his free one, and the three of them walked out of the hospital together, Toru's parents waiting for them and giving them all a ride back to Toru's house. During the trip, Toru introduced Lee to her parents for the first time and it quickly became apparent that her parents did not approve of him being unable to decide between three girls, and therefor didn't approve of him. However, they were polite, and after they reached Toru's house offered to give him and Mina a ride home.
"No thank you," Lee said. "We can handle it."
"Alright then," Toru's mother said. "I'll go start dinner dear." She gave her husband a quick kiss before walking away.
Toru's father cleared his throat for a moment before sighing. "I've tried to convince Toru to stay away from you but she hasn't exactly listened. For her to be as convinced you're the one as she is, even while you're basically dating three separate girls means you must be truly one of a kind. I don't like it, but I can't really stop it either." He sighed heavily. "Take care of my daughter. If I can't drive you off, or make you leave her alone, at the very least, look after her for me."
"I will," Lee said.
He nodded and headed inside as well. Lee turned to Toru who hugged him.
"That went better than I expected," Toru said.
"I'm kind of shocked he didn't try to tell me to leave you alone," Lee said.
"Oh, I burned him out of those talks as soon as this whole thing started," Toru laughed. "I didn't want you to have to deal with that."
"You're so considerate," Lee smiled.
Toru laughed, then leaned in, kissing him for a few seconds before pulling away. "I'll see you soon."
"Of course," Lee smiled. "Someone has to carry your bags when you go shopping."
Toru smiled. "I can't wait."
She kissed him again, shorter this time, before heading inside. Lee turned, taking Mina's hand and they walked away from Toru's house, toward the train station.
"You know, you've gotten pretty open about kissing the tree of us," Mina said.
"Yeah well, that tends to happen when you're repeatedly scared that you might not see each other again," Lee said. "I really am trying to decide. I know it might not look like it, but-"
"I know," Mina said. "It's complicated. I don't expect a decision soon, which is fine. It just means I can be with you for that much longer before possibly losing you."
Lee sighed, taking his hand back and instead wrapping his arm around her. "How did I ever manage to make you and Toru so completely convinced that you wanted to be with me that you're both actually enjoying going through this?"
Mina chuckled. "I'm really not sure. But you did, and we are, so get used to it. We're not going anywhere for a while."
Lee smiled. "Good. Now I just need to convince you to share me and I'll be set."
Mina jabbed her elbow into his ribs, and he grunted, chuckling as she laughed. "Don't get your hopes up. Even you aren't that amazing."
Lee shook his head smiling. "I don't know. I'm pretty fast."
Mina rolled her eyes. "Just stop."
He smiled as they reached the train, both sitting down in a mostly empty car, waiting for Mina's stop. About twenty minutes later, he gave her a kiss goodbye before she headed into her house and he called a cab to get to Momo's, deciding not to press his luck by running.
Lee stepped into the entryway just as the door opened and Aizawa stopped, staring at him. "Mister Aizawa. What are you doing here?"
"I...came to talk to Yaoyorozu's parents," Aizawa said. "What about you? It's a little early to be visiting a friend."
"Oh, I've been staying here ever since...since Amy died," Lee said. "This is about the dorms, right?"
Aizawa nodded.
"Well, I don't have any parents for you to ask, so I'll be there," Lee said.
"Just so you know, it'll be gender segregated," Aizawa said.
"What kind of Mineta do you think I am!?" Lee asked.
"I'm just letting you know," Aizawa said.
"Mister Aizawa!" Momo smiled, stepping into the room. "Welcome! Please, come in! Lee was supposed to invite you in, but apparently he got sidetracked." She gave Lee an exasperated look and he raised his hands.
"No, it's not that," Aizawa said. "We were just having a chat first."
Momo smiled and nodded, leading them to the great hall. Almost as soon as they reached the room, so did Momo's parents. Aizawa didn't have to explain much. A notice had been sent in the mail to inform the students and families of U.A. that the school was building dorms, and that if the student returned the next year, they'd have to live there. The notice was how Lee had known about them, and was why all Aizawa was there for was to ask the parents directly for permission to have Momo return to the school and live in dorms, as well as answer any questions. However, Momo's parents hadn't had many. They agreed almost on the spot. Truthfully, Lee was pretty sure they just wanted Lee out of the house. They'd been okay with it at first, but a few days in his welcome had started to wear thin.
Once Aizawa had left and Momo's parents had returned to whatever they had been doing that day, Lee returned to his room, Momo following. He dropped onto his bed, sighing, and she sat on his desk chair, spinning around once before stopping, beginning to look through the designs Amy had left, which he'd been looking through to find anything useful.
"I don't think your parents like me very much," Lee said.
"I agree," Momo said. "I think they're starting to suspect we might not be just friends, and they don't approve."
"Far cry from Toru's," Lee said.
"You met Toru's parents?" Momo asked.
"Me and Mina were visiting her when she got released and rode back to her house with her and her parents," Lee said. "Apparently Toru told them all about my situation with the three of you, and while they definitely didn't approve, I'm pretty sure her father gave me his blessing. Or, at least, something like that. Also, there's a chance her parents think Toru's a part of a harem."
"Who doesn't?" Momo asked.
"Me," Lee said.
Momo snorted, shaking her head, then stood up and walked over, laying down beside him. "I hate to break this to you, but we're about as close to a harem as it gets without actually being a harem. All three of us have feelings for you, we all kiss you pretty much whenever we feel like it, and none of us are particularly concerned with you also being as openly involved with the other two. That's pretty much a harem."
"Sooo...I don't have to choose?" Lee grinned.
Momo rolled her eyes. "No, Lee. I'm not going to share you with Mina and Toru."
"Darn," Lee said.
Momo snorted. "Right, because you're definitely the kind of person that wants that."
"It would make it easier," Lee said.
Momo shook her head, kissing him. He sighed, kissing her back happily. After a few minutes, her tongue trailed along his bottom lip and his own slipped out to meet hers. Momo moaned softly, pressing closer to him, one hand sliding up to run through his hair, as she'd learned he absolutely loved, and the other resting on his chest. However, after a few minutes of this, a buzzer sounded off to the side and Momo was up off of him in an instant, sitting at the desk again and beginning to go through Amy's plans again while Lee picked up a rubber ball from the ground, tossing it into the air and catching it repeatedly, just as Momo's mother stepped into the doorway.
"How long are you planning to stay?" she asked, sounding only halfway polite.
"Mother," Momo said.
"It's alright, Yaoyorozu," Lee said sitting up. "As soon as the dorms open I'll move out, and whenever I'm not at the dorms I'll go back to my house. I thank you for allowing me to stay here for as long as you have." He bowed forward slightly, as much as he could while seated, and Momo's mother let out something between a hum of acknowledgement and a huff.
"You're welcome," she said, then walked away.
Lee sighed, laying back down and returning to tossing the ball. "Wonder how much more they'd dislike me if they knew about my harem."
Momo picked up a second rubber ball and bounced it off Lee's head, Lee chuckling. "You're lucky I like you, or I'd kick you out of the house."
"Yes, but see, then who would you spar with?" Lee asked.
Momo rolled her eyes. "If I made a good enough case, my mother."
Lee snorted, shaking his head, and set the ball down holding his arm out. A moment later, Momo lay on top of him and they continued where they'd left off.
