Changing Life

Lee read the contract quickly, using his Quirk and Neural Implant to speed read it in a few seconds, finding nothing he couldn't accept. Especially since Momo, Mina, and Toru were all also reading their contracts to either side of him. Once he was done reading, he set it on their pro's desk, nodding.

"I can agree to that," Lee nodded.

The pro nodded, picking up her stamp and stamping the box. The pro Kamui Woods had referred Lee to, and who Lee had convinced to take on Momo, Mina, and Toru as well, was named Rumi Usagiyama. Her hero name was the Rabbit Hero, Mirko. Her Quirk, Rabbit, gave her the abilities of a rabbit, including more than tripling the power of her legs allowing her to run at incredible speeds, apparently, leap ridiculous heights and distances, and giving her kicks devastating power. She also was an extremely attractive woman in her mid twenties with tan skin, a lithe, athletic body with firm breasts, a skin-tight white leotard with a gold crescent over her chest, black along the edges of the arm holes, leg holes, and between her legs, metal plates on her sides, a fluffy white collar, white gloves with loose cuffs, thigh-high black stockings, metal reinforcements on the heels and toes of her elongated, rabbit-like feet, long white hair reaching high on her thighs, red eyes, a fluffy white bunny tail, and tall white rabbit ears.

From the few minutes Lee had known her, he had already figured out that she was blunt, didn't hesitate to tell anyone off, and was not impressed with Lee for having three girls interested in him, which she had called him out on as soon as they walked through the door. She also didn't respect heroes who team up together, apparently, since she saw it as them relying on someone else's strength, rather than their own. In fact, she didn't have an agency. She worked alone. The only reason she had accepted Lee and the others was because Kamui Woods called in a favor, and the only reason the school accepted was because she asked for Lee by name, and then also the other three, after he'd convinced her to let them come.

The other three accepted their contracts as well and Rumi nodded, stamping theirs as well, then sat back, studying them in silence for a long few minutes. "You all did internships already, I assume."

"I didn't," Lee said. "On the first day, the pro hero I was with tracked my missing sister for me, wanting to save her for me so I could focus, and so that I wouldn't lose her, but when we found my sister, she was killed by the villains who took my sister. I managed to defend myself and my sister until the U.A. staff arrived, but the villains had claimed to be using my sister to try and get to me, so I was removed from the internship program and instead placed in...protective custody, of a sort, until it was determined I wasn't being actively targeted anymore."

Rumi was silent for a long few moments, watching him. "Mae. You were the one who was there when Mae died."

"You...knew Mae?" Lee asked.

"Yes," Rumi said. "She and I were...close. If you survived against three villains who killed her, you're strong. What about you three? What can you do?"

"I can create non-living matter from the lipids in my body," Momo said.

"She's also a borderline genius," Lee said.

"I'm able to produce acid, or non-corrosive slime," Mina said.

"And aside from being invisible, I'm also able to refract light through my body to blind nearby enemies for a few seconds," Toru said. "I'm...more of a stealth type."

Rumi nodded. "Yaoyorozu, you'll be patrolling with Ashido. Start two blocks north. If you see a crime, feel free to intervene. Tanaka, since your file says that you're skilled in martial arts, you're going to be teaching Hagakure as much as you can in the next week."

"Yes ma'am," Lee nodded.

"There's a gym you can use upstairs," Rumi said.

"Thank you, ma'am," Lee said.

"Dismissed," Rumi said.

They all walked out of the room, heading toward the front door.

"Your last name's Tanaka?" Mina asked.

"Yeah," Lee said. "I just don't use it ever."

Mina nodded. "I like Lee better."

"Thanks," Lee smiled.

They paused by the door for Mina and Momo to give him a kiss before the pair left and Lee headed up to the gym with Toru. Once they were inside, Lee began to drill Toru on the basics, and trying to help her progress as fast as he could. She was actually a good student. She picked up techniques quickly, and was able to string them together fairly well when they sparred toward the end of the day. By the time they'd finished for the day, Momo and Mina were returning. Momo was content on having done their job, and having done something more than be in a hair commercial, unlike her internship, but Mina was depressed there wasn't any crime to stop. Lee chuckled and they headed back to Rumi's office, Lee knocking, only to receive no answer. He pulled his phone out and texted her that the patrol was done and Toru was done training for the day and Rumi said they could go back to the dorms. They'd be allowed to work on the weekends and every other day during the week, unless something came up, that way they wouldn't fall behind in class. After a little bit, they reached the dorms again and Lee gave each of the girls a kiss goodnight before they all headed to their rooms, all going to sleep quickly.

Lee watched Midoriya sprint away from the school. He'd been extremely distracted all day. Every teacher had caught him not paying attention, and had scolded him, and then during rescue training with Thirteen, he'd almost drowned from paying so little attention and Aizawa had had to rescue him. Lee shook his head. Something had happened. Probably something bad. However, he'd have to wait until Midoriya got back to ask him about it.

"What are you thinking about?" Momo asked, leaning on his shoulder.

"Something's obviously happened with Midoriya," Lee said. "I'm wondering what."

Momo hummed thoughtfully. "He's doing a Work Study with Sir Nighteye, right? All Might's former sidekick? I've heard he the most strict pro out there, even more so than Endeavor."

"I suppose," Lee said. "But I think it's more than that. I mean, Midoriya was so distracted he almost drowned."

"True," Momo said. "Ask him when he gets back. But for now, it's time to head back to the dorms."

Lee nodded and slipped his hand into hers as they walked out of the school, finding Mina and Toru waiting. Toru took Lee's free hand and Mina took Toru's other hand. They all remained fairly quiet as they walked back to the dorm, and once they'd arrived, Mina and Toru both gave Lee a quick kiss before going to get started on their homework. Lee walked back to Momo's room with her and sat down on her bed as Momo took off her jacket, necktie, and stockings, opening a couple of the buttons of her blouse before sighing and walking over to the stack of plans Amy had left behind. Among them were plans for a collapsible helmet they'd never bothered with, however, Lee had decided to have Momo make it for his next fight against Instant and his apparently growing group of villains.

"You're sure you don't mind?" Lee asked.

"Of course I don't mind, Lee," Momo smiled back at him, facing away as she opened her blouse and let it fall down her arms to her wrists, as did her bra a moment later when she unclipped the front. "You need this helmet to fight them safely, especially now that they're recruiting God knows how many more with God knows what for Quirks."

Her back began to shimmer and Lee slid over to catch the helmet, trying to ignore his body's reaction to her being topless. He really needed to get a grip. After a moment, the helmet grew from her back, dropping into his hands. He inspected it, humming thoughtfully as Momo pulled her bra and blouse back on before turning around. The helmet was designed with a metal strip as a base that had magnets to secure to the sides of his suit's collar, then split in half when the back of the suit split open for him to remove it or put it on. Aside from that, the helmet was only for the top half of his face, because it was also designed to use magnets to seal to his mask, forming an air-tight seal and finishing concealing his face. It had a wide glass-filled opening for him to see through with the sides reaching to the sides of his head, then angled down to just above his cheekbones before reaching back up to above his nose with a metal strip along the bottom to seal the glass to his mask. The glass was thick, and a special type of glass that was almost as hard as the metal, and which was a one-way mirror, keeping anyone from seeing in, but allowing him to see out through it as easily as a pair of sunglasses, but which would work like transition lenses so he could see through it in the dark too. The rest of the helmet was a series of plates of the same metal as his gear always was. The plates were each about an inch wide and were designed to fit together so that they could collapse with the glass splitting down the middle if necessary, though there was a thin strip of metal between the sides of the glass that formed a seal as tight as anywhere else on the helmet, the same as the strip on the bottom sealed to his lower face's mask, then the two halves of the glass would slide under the first plate as the plate was sliding back over the second, pinning the glass between them to protect it, then the rest of the plates stacking. In total there were twelve total plates, plus the base. Once collapsed, they were a pair of metal plates stacked that stuck out from his neck about two inches.

"Do you mind?" Lee asked Momo, holding out the collapsed helmet's connected base.

Momo smiled and nodded, climbing on the bed behind him and attaching the helmet to the back of his collar. He picked up the mask, which he'd left in her room for her to use to double-check the helmet's measurements, and put it on, then focused. His helmet was controlled exclusively by his neural implant, either by will of him or Legacy, meaning only they could remove it. The helmet's plates began to slide up the back of his head, their magnets connecting them in place and forming the helmet around his head perfectly. It was snug, but comfortable, and even though there was no real padding, the metal itself was the world's best shock absorber, so it didn't need it. He deactivated the helmet, the glass slipping into place perfectly before the rest of the place slid under it, collapsing back down perfectly, the entire process of either forming or collapsing the helmet taking about half a second, though Lee used his implant to monitor it for problems, of which there were none. Momo and Amy had done as perfectly as always.

"Perfect as always," Lee smiled, setting the mask aside turning to Momo. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," Momo smiled, kissing him.

Lee turned to her more, wrapping his arms around her, and Momo sighed, shifting into his lap, arms encircling his neck as his wrapped around her back. they remained like that for a few minutes before Lee turned, laying down with Momo above him, Momo letting out a shaky breath as he did. Her tongue trailed along his lower lip and his slipped out to meet hers. Momo moaned softly as their tongues slid against each other's, pressing closer to him. As she did, Lee struggled to maintain his control, however, she wasn't making it easy. The same hunger that had started the problems of him being unable to control himself was thick in their kiss, from both sides. But unlike last time, Momo didn't pull away. Neither did Lee. He gasped in a breath stained with the sweet scent of her perfume and felt himself throb agonizingly, grateful that his exosuit worked to at least somewhat hide his body's response. His hands began to drift over Momo's body, sliding up her back, down her arms, up to her neck, down her arms again. It felt like he just needed to feel her. It didn't matter where, just as long as it was her.

Momo moaned softly as his hands explored, pressing closer to him, her tongue slipping past his as she deepened the kiss, Lee responding in kind, his hands pausing on the small of her back to hold her against him tightly. Momo made a sound that sounded like a cross between a weak moan and a whimper, her hands tangling in his hair. However, after another moment, she pulled back from the kiss, panting and brow furrowing as she slowly caught her breath, Lee's right fingertips drifting up and down her back lightly, and his left hand sliding up and down her left upper arm.

"It's getting harder to control myself with you," Momo said.

"Same," Lee said, then sighed. "It might be Mina's fault. She's been trying to press the issue. Especially on the date yesterday."

Momo sighed. "I honestly can't say I'm surprised." She sighed, kissing him again for a moment. "I...Can I be honest?"

"Of course," Lee said.

"I'm...not sure if I actually want to control myself," Momo said. "It just...It doesn't really...feel wrong when I'm with you. It...It feels...right."

Lee smiled, sighing, right hand reaching up to tuck some loose hair behind her ear before returning to lightly stroking her back. "We can't, Momo. You know that."

"I know," Momo said. "I just...wanted you to know how I feel."

Lee smiled, gently pulling her down into another kiss. Momo sighed, her tongue slipping out to meet his again as they rapidly returned to where they'd left off, both of their breathing quickly growing ragged again. Lee's hands began to drift again, more urgently this time, gripping her tightly and holding her against him. She moaned, and as his hands began to trail down her back again, his body overrode his mind, making his hands slip down to her rear. Lee sucked in a breath, but his hands instinctively gripped her through her skirt, Momo moaning into the kiss. His hands began kneading and massaging the firm flesh of her ass, making Momo moan and her hips rock against him slightly, resulting on her grinding against him, earning a slightly louder moan. However, both suddenly pulled away, Lee pulling his hands back from her instantly, and both trying to calm themselves and force themselves under control.

"Shit," Lee panted. "I'm so sorry!"

"It's alright," Momo sighed, sitting up and running her hands over her face for a second before dropping them to his forearms, trailing her hands to his and lacing their fingers together. "You see? I told you it was getting harder to control myself." She sighed heavily. "I'm sorry. I just..."

"It's alright," Lee said. "Neither of us are ready. I'm not going to force you into anything."

Momo nodded, smiling. "Is it like this with Mina and Toru?"

"Toru's been exceptionally well behaved," Lee said before his brow furrowed. "Actually, I think maybe she might feel a little left out. I've been spending all of my free time with you and Mina. Me and Toru haven't had any time alone for a while."

Momo hummed thoughtfully. "Then take her on a date. Make it extra special to make up for leaving her out."

Lee nodded. "Yeah, that's a good idea. You think Midoriya's back yet? I still want to ask him what's had him so distracted."

Momo shrugged. "Probably."

Lee sighed. "I really don't want to leave."

Momo smiled, leaning down and kissing him slowly, remaining there for a few long seconds before pulling away and climbing off of him. He sighed and stood, heading back downstairs and finding Midoriya just returning from wherever he'd run off to.

"Hey, Midoriya, you got a sec?" Lee asked.

"Sure," Midoriya nodded, walking over to the kitchen with him. "What's up?"

"What's had you so distracted recently?" Lee asked. "Is your pro hero a dick or something?"

"Well, he's definitely really strict," Midoriya said. "But...it was something else. We're working on a case involving a Yakuza group known as the Shie Hassaikai. While we were on patrol, we met the Yakuza boss, Chisaki, by pure chance, when his daughter, this little girl with white hair, a single horn, and her arms and legs wrapped in bandages, bumped into me while running away. She was so afraid of him that she was shaking. She begged me not to leave her with him, but then, when he was about to fight us, she ran back to him to protect us."

"Us?" Lee asked.

"Me and Togata," Midoriya said. "His hero name is Lemillion, and he's doing a Work Study with Sir Nighteye as well. He's the one who recommended me. Anyway, that little girl was so afraid, but we couldn't do anything to save her."

"I see," Lee nodded. "My pro's...not really a people person. She hates teaming up because she thinks its a sign of weakness, and she only accepted the four of us because Kamui Woods convinced her to accept me by calling in a favor she owed him, then I convinced her to accept the other four. However, if Shie Hassaikai becomes a problem, let me know and I'll see if there's anything I can do."

Midoriya nodded. "Thank you."

Lee nodded and headed back upstairs, stopping by Toru's room. He knocked, and after a moment she opened the door, her face lighting up instantly.

"Hey!" she smiled. "What's up?"

"I came to see what you were up to, and if you had some spare time for me to fill," Lee said.

"Always!" Toru smiled, letting him in. "I just finished my homework anyway."

Lee walked in, checking her homework for her quickly, as she usually asked him to do before they got to class, then sat on the bed, holding out a hand, pulling her into his lap, Toru blushing instantly, but smiling, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"So, are you doing anything after school the day after tomorrow?" Lee asked.

"I think I might about to be," Toru smiled.

"Do you want to go on a date?" Lee smiled.

"Yes!" Toru cheered. "Of course!"

Lee chuckled, kissing her. She kissed him back for a few minutes, the kiss remaining passionate, yet innocent, the entire time. However, they were interrupted as someone knocked on the door.

"Hey Toru, you got a minute?" Kyoka's voice asked.

Lee sighed. "Always something. I'll see you in the morning for our Work Study."

Toru smiled and nodded and they got up, Toru letting Kyoka in before Lee left, giving Toru a quick kiss goodnight first.
