I decided that I had to get Uncle Otis in on this because snow was being abused at home and i didnt want my baby hurt.
"Meet me after school. I wanna go to my house and talk to my Uncle."
"Deal." She said with a warm smile.
As I walked into school that morning Snow was leaning against my locker waiting for me. I took a deep breath and took her hand. "Snow know that I only want the best for you."
"What do you mean Vlad?"
"I'm going to put you through the wringer for the next year and you can stay by me or leave me, just don't take my future." 'My Baby' My brain supplemented.
"Vlad what are you talking about?" She asked as she raised an eyebrow at me.
"Snow please just trust me."
"Ok Vlad. I trust you with my life. After all you could have ate me by now."
A group of passing girls giggled at their intertpretation of the sentence. I gave her hand a firm squeeze and went to Uncle Otis classroom. Class passed uninteretedly with Joss alternating between glaring daggers at me and giving Meredith googly eyes.
After class I waited for the last student to leave the classroom, and while I waited Snow approached me. "Uncle Otis there is some stuff going on." I said to him as the last student left the classroom.
"I smell your problem Vladimir are you aware of that?" Uncle Otis said with his jaw set.
"A Werewolf told me."
"Wait what?" Snow looked at me with the same expression that Otis's voice held. "There's a werewolf?" He asked. I looked at Snow realizing that she didnt know that every single one of her friends is a supernatural being.
"There's a Werewolf, a sprite, a familiar, a witch, a halfling, and a vampire drudge." I said as I inclined my head in Snow's direction. Snow looked at me with her jaw dropped as she tried to match each friend to their creature.
"And a baby?" My uncle added.
My eyes widened as I turned to look at Snow. "A...A...baby?" She stuttered incredulously.
"Good one Otis. I haven't told her yet." I said as I toed the ground with my high tops.
"Well I'll be damned." Otis muttered.
"Vlad!" She hissed. I looked back to her and she was glaring at me with angry tears welling up in her eyes.
"Snow." I sucked in a nervous breath and took both of her hands in mine. "Snow I told you that I would put you through the wringer for teh next year didn't ?"
"What does that have to do with what he just said?" She asked as she gritted her teeth.
"Well you know...Pregnancy, birth, a new baby...that takes place over about a year."
The tears threatened to spill over her lower lids as she looked up at Otis. She plopped down in a desk. "I'm not going home." She said as she plopped down into a chair.
Otis looked at her incredulously. As she held his gaze her head fell. "Look Mr. Otis, my dad beats me and its not rocket science to know that a vampire will kill over family."
Otis hissed and his fangs elongated. "Nelly is going to kill you." He hissed as he slammed his hands on his desk. He kicked the desk drawer and Snow jumped at the loud bang. "Get your friends and I will get mine. Be at your parents house immediatly." He grabbed his hat and swept out of the room.
His grand exit was ruined by neither of us moving and still being in shock. "Your aunt will be home by nine and your wasting daylight Vladimir!" He snapped.
We all met up by the tree a few minutes later. Everyone looked at October and before she could speak up Snow did.
"I know that last night some weird creature magic happened and know im knocked up."
Kristoff looked up at her and for the first time ever lhe looked scared. Aparrently this is bigger than just me. Mr. Otis told Vlad to get his people."
"I think we all have people." October muttered as she looked around the circle.
"Then get them. We are supposed to meet at Vlad's parents place as soon as possible." I gave them each a note card with the address on it and then we all split up.
By 4:30 everyone had made their way to the house. I called Snow, Otis, Vikas, October, Kristoff, Sprat, Andrew, and Henry. Of course I came to quickly realize that October was right when she said that everyone had their own crew.
Otis brought Vikas' drudge Tristian, The prophecy holder, as he is rumored to be, Dorian, and Enrico. Otis tells me that he owns the bar that serves as a cover for the Vampire Council headquarters in New York.
Kristoff brought a group of strange smelling Vampires. He introduced them as the Cullen Clan and the Black Pack.
As soon as the female wolf entered the room Dorian slid over to her. The entire Black Pack and Cullen Clan stood stock still.
"The feeling stirring inside of you...I can hear your mind Leah. You seem to be thinking of an inherent fated match known as imprinting. The feelings in your head, it feels like The Wolf and The Vampire Hybrid." Dorian looked towards the older man, maybe in his thirties, and he had a beautiful bronze haired woman beside him.
She was a hybrid lik me? I would have to talk to her more later.
"I can't believe I imprinted on a bloodsucker." The woman called Leah said breathlessly.
"I'm not just any bloodsucker my darling." She reached out to touch his face and I seen them both visibly relax.
Dorians head whipped around to Otis." These vampires are very different from us. There are many things for us to learn."
His head turned to the blond man standing with the other vampires. "Carlisle has bought a house, two houses here in Bathory. They will be staying until..."
He looked over at the small woman with short black hair. "This one sees the future. She can't see mine because of Leah. If she hasn't been one, she can't see it. She can see Vladimir and Snow's future as the child is mostly human. Intriguing. I think I like these newcomers.
