Overhaul

Lee raised his head as the ground shook for the millionth time. It had been close to thirty minutes since he allowed Ion and the others to leave so that he couldn't lose control any more and kill them. Thirty minutes, and still Toru and Mina were sobbing.

"We need to get moving now," Lee said. "Will you two be okay to continue?"

Toru nodded, as did Mina, and Lee had Legacy finally stop him from seeing Toru. Both sat up, wiping their eyes, and Toru quickly went to retrieve her missing gloves and shoes. Lee helped Mina stand and gave her a quick kiss, then kissed both Momo and Toru as well, ignoring the fact that Toru was still covered in Pornstar's slime, including the slime in her mouth from having had a tentacle forced down her throat.

"I have to go and help Deku, who I'm sure has found Overhaul by now," Lee said. "Momo, can you get them out?"

"Yes," Momo nodded. "We just need to find a way up to the others."

"Do you have the energy to make a set of stairs?" Lee asked.

Momo nodded and Lee nodded, focusing and streaming electricity along his arm again, the energy once again shrieking nearly definingly. Then, he crouched, straightening his legs at a hundred miles an hour and launching himself to the ceiling, his fist exploding into the ceiling of the chamber, the lightning exploding outward and, coupled with the force of the punch itself, blasting a gaping hole in the floor, revealing a hallway with Rock Lock sitting against one wall and a man sitting off to the side, handcuffed. Lee landed on his feet and looked down as Momo formed a ladder. Toru climbed up first, followed by Mina. Lee helped them both up off the ladder and they both went to check on Rock Lock, who had been stabbed in the back, apparently.

"Are you alright?" Lee asked.

"Some little psycho girl from the League of Villains knifed me in the back," Rock Lock said as the ground shook. "I think the others finally caught up with Chisaki." He looked down the hallway to his right, Lee's left.

"Right," Lee nodded. "I'll go back them up. "Creati, Pinky, Invisible Girl, help Rock Lock and this other guy back outside. If you meet anyone else, tell them to get out of the tunnels. We don't know how strong Overhaul really is, or how much of the tunnels he can destroy."

"Understood," Momo nodded. "Please, be careful."

"I will," Lee said. "You be careful too. All three of you."

"We'll be okay now," Mina said, forcing a smile. "We'll see you in a little while."

Lee nodded, giving the three of them each one more kiss before turning and taking off down the tunnel. Once he was a safe distance away, he channeled electricity through his body, an excess screaming over his exosuit as he forced himself to speed up, noticing a distinct lack of a sonic boom rocking the hallway as he shot past Mach 1. However, he ignored that and didn't push himself to his new limit yet. Before he got the chance to test his new top speed, he skidded to a stop beside Mirio. Mirio had been stabbed in the left leg and the right side of his abdomen, beaten to hell, and had a number of gashes in his arms and legs.

"Lemillion!" Lee said, kneeling. "Shit! Hang on!"

"No!" Mirio said, shoving his hands away. "Go help...Deku! Sir Nighteye...is hurt! Badly! Eri...went back! Help...Deku and...Sir Nighteye! You have to...stop Chisaki! You have to save Eri!"

Lee grit his teeth before nodding. He stood before pulling his mask off of the front of his neck where he'd stuck it with its magnets, then put it on, deploying his helmet before taking off, once again failing to set off a sonic boom as he rocketed past Mach 1. This time, when he stopped, it was just inside of a hole in the wall, seeing Midoriya struggling to stand, blood coating Midoriya's lower legs and left forearm where he'd been stabbed by stone spikes, the tips of which were still sticking out of his legs and nd arm. The room was filled with massive stone spikes, one of which had impaled Nighteye through the left side of his abdomen from behind, and another of which had almost completely severed his left arm just above the elbow. And then, there was Overhaul. He'd done something to himself. Reconstructed himself. He had four arms now, the higher two with dark greyish brown skin like stone, and two of them with light pink skin, all four heavily muscled and with wicked clawed fingers. There were jagged, dark lines reaching up a couple centimeters from the edge of his plague mask, which was open now with thin strings connecting the top and bottom near the base, and the dark lines in the middle of his face ran up between his eyes, then fanned out slightly as they ran up his forehead.

"I'll come back," Eri was saying, standing halfway between Lee and Overhaul. "But if I do...I want you to them all better again!"

"Ah, yes," Overhaul grinned. "It's so much easier to be hurt yourself than to watch while others are hurt for you, isn't it? The faint flicker of hope Lemillion gave her has been extinguished."

"Then I'll give her a new one," Lee snarled, picking up a stone, then hurling it in a blurred streak, the stone punching completely through both of Overhaul's right arms, taking both of them off.

Overhaul shrieked in pain, clutching at his shoulders as his arms began to reform. Lee walked forward calmly, stopping beside Midoriya.

"Mach!" Midoriya breathed. "Quick, get Eri out of here!"

"Deku, leave!" Lee snarled. "Now!"

"No way!" Midoriya said. "I'm not going to-"

"Deku!" Lee snapped, silencing him. "You're going to get Eri and Nighteye out of here while I beat Overhaul into a bloody heap!"

"No!" Midoriya said. "Even you can't-"

"I'm going to say this only one time!" Lee snarled, helmet retracting so that Midoriya could see the fury in his eyes as electricity flew from them, more screaming over his body violently. "You're in my way!"

Midoriya staggered back a step before swallowing hard and nodding. "Okay!"

"Whatever you do, do not remove that spike from Nighteye's abdomen," Lee said. "And use something to tie around his left bicep, make it high, and tighten it until the bleeding stops. Once his arm comes off that spike, you'll have about thirty seconds to get it tied. And you and the two of them need to be out of this room in one minute. That's all I can give you. After that, I'm frying everyone in the room."

Midoriya nodded and turned, scooping up Eri and streaking to Nighteye, leaving the stone spikes in his wake. As he did, Lee turned to Overhaul as he finished regenerating.

"I'm going to rip you apart piece by piece for that!" Overhaul snarled.

Lee grinned wickedly behind his mask, his lightning intensifying even more. "You know the one good thing to come out of today?"

"What's that?" Overhaul snarled, slowly beginning to reach for the ground.

"I finally get to test out all of the Ultimate Moves I never got to practice before," Lee grinned, then shot to the wall and up to the ceiling, getting himself over Overhaul and jumping back down at him, all before Overhaul had realized he moved. "Lightning Bomb!"

He exploded down on Overhaul's back, electricity shrieking deafeningly as it raged over Lee's arms, then through his palms into Overhaul, who was also screaming and spasming below him. Then, Lee launched himself off of Overhaul as stone spikes erupted from the ground around Overhaul, stabbing at Lee and narrowly missing. Lee landed on his feet, his electricity fading from his exosuit as Overhaul shattered the stone spikes and stood, roaring in rage like the monster he looked like. Lee looked to Midoriya just as he finished tying his ripped up hood around Nighteye's arm, having managed to stop the bleeding. Then, he threw Nighteye over his left shoulder, holding Eri under his other arm before fleeing toward the door, the stone spike having been broken off on either side of Nighteye, leaving the plug keeping him from bleeding. Before they could reach the hole, however, the ground below them shattered and he was forced to dodge away from stone spikes, a wall of stone blocking off the exit.

"You're not going anywhere!" Overhaul seethed. "And you…I'm going to thoroughly enjoy ripping you apart! I'm going to make it slow!"

"First you've got to actually catch me," Lee said, streaking forward.

Two of Overhaul's hands reached for him, only for him to duck out of the way, drilling a fist into Overhaul's abdomen, lifting him off the ground. He jumped, spinning, and his foot whipped around, exploding into Overhaul's four crossed arms, snapping two of their forearms like twigs and sending him crashing along the ground. Overhaul flipped to his feet, shrieking in pain as his arms and broken back all restored themselves, then charged again. Lee shot forward as well and Overhaul swiped a hand, two of his fingers brushing the ground and sending stone spikes exploding from the ground into Lee's chest, hurling him away. Lee flipped, his helmet deploying just before he exploded into another spike, shattering it.

"You're slower now!" Overhaul said. "What happened to that speed from before? I didn't even see you move before! What happened to that? Is it too tiring?"

Lee grit his teeth. Overhaul had noticed faster than he'd hoped. Using his electricity and moving at that speed was exhausting. About ten times more so than his normal speed. He shot forward, grabbing a chunk of rock from the ground and hurled it at Overhaul, taking off his right arms again as Overhaul reached for him with them, then jumped, his right knee exploding into Overhaul's forehead, flipping him backward. Lee landed on his feet then spun, exploding back toward Overhaul, who was just getting to be upside down. Then, Lee's fist exploded into his gut, sending him streaking across the room into a cluster of stone spikes, obliterating them. After a moment, Overhaul stood, suddenly encased in stone plating and fully restored, roaring angrily.

"You're just becoming more and more a freak," Lee said. "I'm going to end this."

"Just die!" Overhaul seethed, all four fists exploding into the ground, the entirety of the room being ripped apart and reformed into stone spikes, Lee using his speed to obliterate the ones aimed at Midoriya and his two charges before they could be impaled. Then, the ceiling of the room exploded downward, Ryukyu and the behemoth of muscle she'd been fighting, now much, much bigger, crashing to the ground, along with Su, Hado, and Uraraka.

"Ryukyu!" Midoriya gasped. "You guys came!"

"Deku!" Uraraka shouted. "Wait..."

"If you're here, who's the Deku we just saw?" Su asked.

"Himiko Toga!" Lee guessed. "All of you need to leave! I'm handling things! Nejire Chan! Mirio's through the wall behind me and down the hallway to the left! He's hurt badly!"

"On my way!" Hado said, blasting out through the wall instantly and taking off.

"Give me back that girl!" Overhaul roared, moving to smash his hands into the ground again, only for Lee to tap into his electricity again and streak over to him, grabbing him by the forehead.

"Too slow!" Lee said, Overhaul shrieking in agony as Lee channeled electricity into his body.

After two seconds, he released him, then planted a kick in his gut, launching him backward into a wall, cratering the wall, though the stone encasing Overhaul's back spared him severe damage.

"Nice one!" Su said.

"You got control!" Uraraka cheered!"

"Get Nighteye and the others out of here!" Lee said. "Leave this to me!"

"Get out of my way!" Overhaul thundered suddenly, the entire room seeming to explode into spikes suddenly.

Lee managed to protect the others, but as he did, Chisaki also sent a pillar of stone exploding up from under Eri.

"You heroes screwed everything up!" Overhaul seethed, landing on the pillar with her as Midoriya raced up the side of it.

"I won't let you take her!" Midoriya shouted.

"Deku!" Lee shouted, then slammed his fist into the side of a stone spike. "Damn him! he just can't let anyone else take over!"

Just then, Mirio's cape, which had been sent flying into the air during the most recent rearrangement of the room, fluttered down to Eri, who leapt off of overhaul to grab it. Except, at that same moment, light flashed from her horn and a second body wearing black clothes and with a black mask was suddenly separated from Overhaul, undoing whatever mutation Overhaul had been under, including the stone plating, which clattered tot he ground. Then, Eri leapt off the stone pillar toward Midoriya. Midoriya caught her, beginning to fall, only for Overhaul to slam a hand into the top of the pillar, which all but exploded.

"Give her back!" Overhaul roared, sending massive stone spikes at him, these ones bending and moving like tentacles.

What Lee had seen Pornstar doing to Toru flashed through his mind and electricity screamed over his body again as he exploded off the ground, blasting through both of the stone appendages, then collided with Overhaul, fist-first, and launched him up through the hole in the ceiling. He stepped off a chunk of stone in the air and followed, flipping and landing on the street, the electricity arcing from his body and eyes to the road, cracking it and ripping pieces apart as his control began to slip, both over the electricity and himself.

"I won't let you hurt that little girl anymore!" Lee snarled. "I'm ending this!"

"Just try it!" Overhaul shouted, moving to rearrange the ground.

"Too slow!" Lee shouted, knee crashing into Overhaul's head and rocking him back a step before Lee's palm slammed into Overhaul's gut. "Electro Cannon!"

A massive bolt of blue lightning exploded out of his palm, launching Overhaul away, reaching almost a hundred meters before exploding and sending Overhaul blasting along the road and into a building. Lee let his arm fall, panting, and wiped the sweat from his brow as Midoriya landed beside him.

"Are you alright?" Midoriya asked.

"Yeah," Lee said. "I'm just burning the candle at both ends using my electricity so much without practicing my control. He should be down for the count this time, though. I basically just struck him point blank with a lightning bolt."

Midoriya nodded. "He's alive, right?"

"God, I hope so," Lee said. "I really don't want to lose my license for accidentally stopping his heart."

Midoriya swallowed hard and nodded, glancing at Eri, who was in his arms. "Don't worry Eri, you're going to be safe now. This is Lee."

"Hello," Eri said nervously.

Lee smiled, pulling his mask off. "Hello Eri. It's nice to meet you. You're going to be okay now. We'll take good care of you. Maybe you can stay with Lemillion."

Eri's eyes widened before she smiled hesitantly, nodding.

"She's not going anywhere with you!" Overhaul's voice suddenly thundered.

"Of for fuck's sake!" Lee growled, putting his mask back on. "At least we know he's alive."

"Watch out!" Uraraka's voice shouted suddenly as she landed at the mouth of the hole with Nighteye. "He absorbed his henchmen!"

Lee's eyes widened before he deployed his helmet, turning back to the front just in time for the ground in front of him to explode, a dozen stone spikes exploding against the front of his exosuit, sending Lee exploding backward along the ground. He rolled to a stop and groaned, pushing himself up and swaying slightly. This guy packed a punch. His exosuit was blocking most of the damage, but the impacts were still ridiculous.

"She has no control over it!" Overhaul's voice said suddenly.

Lee looked to Midoriya, seeing him go from on the ground, clutching at his sides, to avoiding a massive, red-skinned hand bigger than his entire body.

"She may have activated her Quirk in time, but she doesn't know how to turn it off!" Overhaul said, rising from the ground. "Isn't that right, Eri?"

He had changed, massively. Rather than just a second set of massive arms, this time, he'd become a monster. A gigantic creature as tall as the three-story buildings around him made of exposed muscles, exposed ribs as big as canoes, a bid-beaked head with its beak open and muscles filling its throat, Overhaul's normal upper body sticking out of the center of them, a massive spinal-column-like tail, and more than a dozen arms, two of them per side being about as big around as Lee was tall and the rest being about as big around as Lee's forearm was long. Lee swallowed hard, focusing and preparing to generate more electricity, only for his body to throb agonizingly. He collapsed to his knees, ripping his mask off and coughing up blood.

"Not now!" Lee growled, only to cough up more. "Shit!"

He looked up at Overhaul. He couldn't be tapped out yet. He needed to keep fighting.

"Lee!" Momo shouted, she, Mina, and Toru running over and kneeling beside him. "What happened!?"

"I used...too much...electricity," Lee said. "I think...it's basically...my life force."

"Don't try to move," Momo said. "You can't fight like this!"

"I have to!" Lee said. "Deku can't...fight him alone!"

They looked toward him just as his sleeves and the black braces on his legs exploded off. The green electricity that accompanied Midoriya's Quirk suddenly began to rage around him as he used Mirio's cape to tie Eri onto his back. Overhaul was ranting and raving about using Eri's power to rewind humanity to a time before Quirks existed, but no one was really listening to him. Overhaul moved to attack Midoriya, sending out a dozen stone spikes at him. Just before they reach him, Midoriya vanished, reappearing in front of Overhaul's massive form in time to kick it, sending the entire thing streaking skyward. After a moment of flying away limply, he suddenly deconstructed his massive form, Midoriya flying around and around him somehow, looking to be kicking off the air to throw himself.

"It looks like he's got it handled for now, but if we can't restore your electricity, you'll die," Momo said.

"What are we going to do, hook me up to a car battery?" Lee asked. "Kaminari's not here."

The girls looked at one another, eyebrows raised.

"Oh no," Lee groaned.

A moment later, they had him sitting in front of a car as Momo formed jumper cables, hooking the positive cable to him and the car, then the car's negative cable.

"This is a stupid idea," Lee said.

Momo held out his negative cable and he sighed, taking it. The moment his glove met the metal on the end of the negative cable, electricity sparked and jumped from the cables to him for a moment, sinking into his body, before ending. Momo frowned.

"The battery's dead," Mina said. "We're gonna need like ten of them."

"Five will be enough for me to help Deku without using my electricity," Lee said.

Momo nodded and turned way from them, opening the front of her costume, focusing and forming five car batteries, which landed on the ground on front of her. She hooked him up to the next and he again absorbed it in a couple seconds. Within another minute, he was finished absorbing them all. He still felt exhausted, but he had enough energy to help Midoriya now. He stood just as Momo collapsed, Lee catching her instantly. She smiled up at him weakly.

"I'm...okay," Momo smiled. "Just tired. Go help Deku."

He looked up just as Deku drilled a barrage of punches into Overhaul, who had compressed his massive form into a smaller stronger one, then drilled one solid punch into Overhaul's face. Overhaul flew backward, reforming his monster form only for Midoriya to grab him by the wrist and flip, swinging Overhaul's entire body around vertically and send him crashing down to earth hard. Midoriya landed in front of him, light particles still radiating from Eri's horn and floating into the air.

"It looks like Deku has it handled," Lee said, lifting Momo. "Come on. Let's find a place to rest while Midoriya finishes up."

Mina and Toru both nodded and they walked back to the hole, stopping beside Uraraka and Nighteye, who were watching the fight.

"I saw it!" Nighteye was saying. "Chisaki...succeeded and escaped! Midoriya...lost his life. it's an immutable future! But this...is new!"

"No one can ever truly see the future," Lee said. "The future's always changing. Every decision we make shapes it. You don't really see the whole future, only one that's one of the most likely. It's not set in stone."

Nighteye stared at him, wide-eyed, before turning back to watch Midoriya. Just as they did, golden light began to explode off of Midoriya, shining from this eyes and mouth. Overhaul looked like he was out cold, but now there was another problem. overhaul had said earlier that Eri's power was to rewind, but that she couldn't shut it off. If that was true she was accidentally about to rewind Midoriya out of existence.

"Shit!" Lee said. "We have to help him!"

Just then, Overhaul screamed in pain and rage, his gigantic hand reaching for Eri, only for the light to spread through his massive body. The body disintegrated, reforming as Overhaul's henchmen, all of them still unconscious, and Uraraka and Lee shot forward. Uraraka leapt into the air and grabbed Overhaul by the wrists, slamming him to the ground, so Lee shot past them, grabbing the three normal-sized henchmen and slamming them to the ground by several cops outside the Shie Hassaikai property, then went to the giant one, who had shrunk down a bit, and checked to make sure he was unconscious by jabbing him in the eye. When he didn't react, Lee was satisfied and turned to Midoriya and Eri. Just as he did, the light suddenly faded from Eri's horn and she collapsed. Lee looked to the others, who had returned from the hole, and saw Aizawa's hair standing up and his irises glowing red. He let his Quirk fade and Eri's didn't turn back on. Lee sighed, walking over to his girls, dropping heavily to the ground and groaning.

"It's over," Lee sighed. "Finally."

Toru and Mina leaned on his shoulders, wrapping their arms around him and he gently pulled Momo into a hug. After a bit, ambulances arrived to take everyone who was injured to the hospital. Lee and the other three refused to go, since none of them were actually hurt, just exhausted. Instead, they all headed back to the dorms, heading up to Momo's room, since it was the only place they could all be together without being uncomfortable, and finally allowed the pain and fear they'd held back to finish the mission go. And then they stayed there, all four of them crying and holding each other shaken to the point of being broken, and trying to put themselves and each other back together.
