Chaos

"Lee, slow down for a second!" Midoriya called, still looking back.

Lee skidded to a stop on a platform. "What's up?"

Instantly, he realized his mistake. His body locked up, his eyes went wide, then glassed over, and he found himself unable to move.

"How?" Lee asked Legacy.

"Hold on," Legacy responded. "Analyzing." She paused. "Midoriya's voice came from...the other side."

"What?" Lee asked, just as Shinso and Monoma stepped up in front of him.

"Lee!" Midoriya shouted.

"And that's checkmate," Monoma said, reaching out.

"I'm taking remote control!" Legacy said urgently.

A second later, Lee's arm snapped up, knocking Monoma's away, then fell to his side again.

"What!?" Shinso and Monoma yelped.

"Midoriya, his suit!" Mina shouted. "You have to launch him!"

Midoriya nodded, but as he moved to jump, an oil barrel sped toward him, a shining, violet aura around it. Midoriya avoided it, just as Monoma tried to copy Lee's Quirk again, only for Legacy to knock his hand away then slam a palm strike into his chest hard enough to throw him backward, leaving him gasping for air.

"Enough of this!" Shinso said. "Forget copying him. Lee, fight Midoriya."

Lee's body turned and Legacy shouted in annoyance.

"My control's blocked!" Legacy said.

Suddenly, Lee was moving. Midoriya shouted in surprise, leaping and flipping aside from Lee, but he didn't have nearly enough time to counter. He was just avoiding he strikes. Mina sprayed a pipe he was heading for with acid, but Lee's body picked its feet up, clearing he acid with ease and continuing to futilely attack Midoriya.

"Legacy, turn off the enhanced cognition!" Lee said.

Legacy complied, and Lee's body went exploding into a building on the next pass, bouncing and flipping through half a dozen walls before spinning out into open air on the far side of that building's upper level, then plummeting to the ground, cratering it, only to bounce out and through one final wall before rolling to a stop. However, his control still hadn't returned, so his body stood as the cognition reactivated and returned to its last order, Midoriya blocking the strike this time, only for one of his left forearm bones to crack as he shot away from Lee, Lee pursuing him.

"Shit!" Mina swore. "We need to take Shinso down, fast!"

"Oh dear," Monoma spoke up. "It seems your two biggest assets are indisposed. Now how will you win?"

"We can't!" Mineta shrieked. "Once Lee finishes with Midoriya-"

"He won't," Uraraka said. "His body's just relentlessly attacking right now, there's no strategy, no thinking. Midoriya can hold out against that, and we can handle this!"

"Right!" Mina nodded. "Time for us to show that our boyfriends aren't the only ones who know how to fight!"

"Yeah!" Uraraka said, then shrieked in embarrassment, face scarlet. "Mina! I's not like that!"

Mina laughed.

"Would you two get serious!" Mineta shouted, pulling a pair of his hair balls off. "Let's go, already!"

"Right!" Uraraka and Mina nodded.

Just then, more glowing purple objects began to streak around them, attacking them almost at random. "As they did, Monoma hurled a pair of handfuls of random objects as well, using the same power to add to the chaos. As the objects rained inward at them, Mina spun, twirled, and twisted, sending waves of acid out to melt the objects before they could reach them. Then, suddenly, everything suddenly expanded into massive objects. Oil drums, washers as big as the pipes Lee and Midoriya were running on, steel girders, sections of the massive pipes. Mina, Uraraka, and Mineta shrieked in surprise, running around to avoid the pieces for a moment before Uraraka began to stop everything with her Quirk. However, suddenly, everything exploded inward as though struck by some invisible force, everyone only barely avoiding them. Finally, the objects stopped falling, Uraraka, Mineta, and Mina all falling back.

"Looks like Lee and Midoriya were right," Uraraka said softly. "If Lee gets controlled, it'll be up to us."

Mina nodded. "We can do this. Everything's set up, right Mineta?"

"Oh yeah," Mineta nodded. "We've got them."

Avoided Lee's punch, holding his right out to fire an air blast, only to suddenly go stiff as pitch black energy suddenly exploded from his outstretched palm backward around him.

"No, why now!?" Midoriya shouted. "I was fine up until now!"

"There!" Lee said. "Will that wake us up?"

"It might kill us," Legacy warned.

"If we hit Midoriya again, we're going to kill him!" Lee reasoned. "Message Midoriya! Hit us!"

Legacy sent the message to the earpiece Midoriya wore. When Midoriya heard the message, he hesitated for only a second before kicking off of a pipe and exploding toward Lee as Lee raced toward him. Midoriya contorted, avoiding Lee's punch, and slammed his palm into Lee's chest. The energy all but exploded outward, sending Lee exploding all the way to the mushroom-filled section of Training Ground Gamma before disconnecting them, retreating to Midoriya again. A second later, it exploded skyward, multiple arcs and branches swarming into a single point over Midoriya before exploding down into the training ground, only barely missing all of the others still nearby. Everyone shared one scream as they escaped the attack only by pure chance, then watched as the energy, which was still present, like a mass of lethal spider legs, pulled Midoriya out of the building he was in by the hand. I slammed him into another building, then swung him through the air for a moment before stopping, holding him still as it raged around him, razing the training ground below him to the ground.

Just then, Uraraka grabbed onto him. "Deku! Please calm down!"

A tendril of energy knocked her helmet off, the energy intensifying, the air around him growing more crowded. Then, Lee exploded forward, flying nearly at his base speed, using his implant to its utmost ability to predict and avoid the energy's movements.

"Sorry Midoriya!" Lee snarled. "I was hoping I didn't need to do this!"

A tendril of energy exploded directly out of Midoriya's palm, slamming into Lee's chest and hurling him away again, though not as hard or far this time.

"You've got to calm down!" Uraraka shrieked.

"Run!" Midoriya snarled through his teeth, struggling in vain to stop the energy. "Can't...control it!"

"Shinso!" Lee shouted, struggling to his feet. "Use your power! Say anything!"

"Midoriya!" Shinso shouted after a moment. "Stop playing around and fight me!"

"Okay!" Midoriya finally shouted, Lee bracing for a complete meltdown of the Quirk.

Except, the streams of energy suddenly shot out straight and remained immobile as Midoriya fell motionless. A moment later, the energy began to spiral, returning to Midoriya and vanishing into his arm. Lee sighed, no relaxing, but flying toward Lee and Uraraka, who hovered motionlessly. He pulled them to the ground, and looked up at Shinso, nodding. Lee looked back at Uraraka and Midoriya just as Uraraka slapped him.

"Wake up!" Uraraka shouted as she did. "Oh no! I'm sorry! Did the slap hurt?"

"Get away!" Midoriya panicked, suddenly. "It's too dangerous!"

"Don't worry," Uraraka sighed. "Shinso's brainwashing took care of you!"

"I did?" Midoriya asked, then noticed a graze on Uraraka's cheek. "Oh my gosh! You're hurt! Don't tell me...it's my fault."

Just then, Monoma reached them, only for Uraraka to catch his wrist, moving to throw him, just as a few dozen glowing objects scattered into the air.

"This battle isn't over!" Monoma grinned.

"Yes, it is," Lee said, streaking over behind him and grabbing him by the back of the neck, smashing his head into the ground.

The objects he was controlling clattered to the ground, and Lee sighed.

"Way to go, Lee!" Mina cheered.

"Yea-" his eyes went wide, but it was too late.

His body froze. Monoma lunged, only for Mineta to hurl several balls at him, Monoma barely avoiding it. A half-dozen objects flew at Midoriya, who was holding the opposite end of Shinso's capture scarf, but Mina flipped over it, blocking them with a wave of acid.

"Once the others get here, you won't be able to keep up!" Monoma grinned.

"They're not coming!" Mina grinned. "We already dealt with them!"

"What!?" Monoma yelped.

"Yeah!" Mineta bragged, just as he used a trashcan lid covered with hair balls to block a crank wheel heading for Mina. "Our plan B worked perfectly!"

Lee grinned internally. Plan B had been a stretch. If Lee was taken control of and attacked Midoriya, hey needed to lure the others into an area covered with Mineta's hair balls, both in the air and on everything around them. Then, once Class B's team was in position, Mina would melt all of the object around them around he balls, making them fall and Uraraka would drop the other balls.

"How'd you catch them without Uraraka's set?" Midoriya asked.

"Mineta lured them in alone, and then I sprayed my acid from above!" Mina said proudly.

Monoma looked around at Mineta, who was streaking around and around Monoma, avoiding his attempts to hit him while only narrowly missing Monoma himself. The balls he'd been scattering the whole fight were his trampolines. And with them, he was faster than Monoma's aim. Monoma lunged for Lee, intending to take his power, only for Mineta to slam the sicky side of a second hair ball shield into Monoma's chest and left arm, the shield trapping the arm at his side before Monoma flew backward. Finally, Mina reached Lee.

"Legacy, let me in!" Mina said.

Legacy retracted the helmet instantly, and Mina slapped Lee, then kissed him. Lee stared at her for a moment before blinking and smiling, kissing her back.

"Let's try this again," Lee said, redeploying his helmet.

Just as he did, Midoriya reached Shinso, going on the offensive without his Quirk. At the same time, all of Shinso's tiny pieces of metal crashed down around him. He swore as Lee strode forward, cracking his knuckles.

"Time's up, Monoma," Lee said. "It's over."

"Not yet!" Monoma snarled. "Double Impact!"

A blow slammed into Lee's back, sending him hurtling at Monoma. He swore, contorting, grabbing Monoma's forearm, only for Monoma's hand to press against his own. He activated his jetpack, flipping over Monoma, moving to slam him to the ground. Too late. Monoma activated Lee's work to twist and kick him. Everyone froze instantly, Mineta slamming into a wall as his shock stopped him from controlling his flight. Lee and Shinso's fight stopped, both staring. Monoma's cocky grin persisted for about a second before reality caught up to him and he screamed. As he twisted, his left arm, which Lee had a hold of, tore free at the shoulder. When his kick slammed into Lee's side, his leg all but exploded from about three inches above the knee to three inches below it. For a moment, Monoma's scream rang out unhindered. Then, Lee had his arm and leg and all but exploded to the edge of the training area, electricity screaming over his body. Within two seconds of beginning to move, he'd reached he Nurse's office, and she screamed in surprise, sprinting over and kissing Monoma.

"To a real hospital, now!" The nurse ordered.

Lee nodded and was off again.
