Raid

Lee jumped out of the plane with the others. The SD card had contained an explanation of Flect Turn's ultimate plan, along with proof, as well as the exact locations of the bombs and of Humarise's main base. Flect Turn's plan wasn't to destroy all Quirks. It was to slaughter all of the pro heroes that were sent to stop the bombs, then slaughter anyone with a Quirk during the ensuing chaos, stopping the Quirk Singularity Doomsday Theory, but then rule the world himself at the end as the last wielder of a Quirk. Upon realizing she'd been lied to and that Flect Turn had no intention of dying as well to truly rid the world of Quirks and simply wanted to rule the world, the archer, Beros, had sworn to stop Flect Turn no matter what, solidifying her place as an ally. Then, once they had the location of the base, Rody had stolen them a plane to fly there in. However, they were running dangerously short on time. Only twenty minutes remained.

"Midoriya, you're in charge of dealing with the bombs and Flect Turn," Lee said as they fell, Beros holding onto him, as she was the only one unable to land safely alone. "The rest of us will clear you a path and cover the rear."

Midoriya nodded just as gunfire erupted from below.

"I don't have time for you idiots!" Bakugo shouted, firing back with rapid AP Shots.

A few members with ranged Quirks opened fire, but they all made it to the ground safely.

"I didn't expect there to be so many of them!" Todoroki said, sending a wall of flames at them.

"Beros, stay here!" Lee said, then exploded forward.

Bullets bounced off of his suit harmlessly, and he flashed around the larger, Quirk-generated blasts. Then, he reached the Humarise members and began to rapidly drop them all. Within seconds, he'd finished, and the others all joined him at the door, Beros grabbing a quiver of arrows from a weapon rack off to the side.

"Alright," Lee said. "Beros and Bakugo will handle-"

He was cut off by Bakugo using an explosion to flip over several blades that burst up from the ground, narrowly missing him, before a pair of twins stood.

"Why are you idiots helping Humarise?" Bakugo demanded as the twins held their arms up, massive blades bristling from their forearms, which transformed into blades whips partway along. "You have Quirks!"

"We were personally chosen by Flect Turn as worthy!" the first twin said, grinning.

"We will live in their rebuilt world!" the other grinned.

"That's not what we were told to believe!" Beros shouted. "We were told that all Quirks had to be eradicated!"

"They're just saving their asses," Lee said, narrowing his eyes. "You four, head inside and leave these two to me. They're speed types."

"I can handle them!" Bakugo snapped.

"No, Kacchan, he's right," Midoriya said. "He can handle any speed types better than you."

"I'll help him," Beros growled.

"No," Lee said. "You go with them. I told you I wouldn't let you throw your life away, remember?"

Beros hesitated before sighing and nodding. "Fine. But you had better not die before you help me find a better way to stop the Quirk Doomsday."

"I won't," Lee said. "I've already got a good friend of mine looking into it."

Beros nodded and the other four all ran into the base together. Lee crouched, readying himself, then took off in a blur just ahead of the twins' blades. As he'd expected, they were fast. Even Bakugo wasn't nearly fast enough to deal with them, but Lee was. One of the twins sent both blades racing toward Lee just as he stopped, but Lee grinned, exploding forward and ducking under the blades, stepping to the side away from them as he raced forward. The other twin struck with one blade, but Lee flipped over it, then shot back to the ground under the second blade using his boots. Then, he exploded forward, clearing the last of the distance to the first twin and drilled a fist into his face, sending him exploding backward into the cliff beside the door into the base. The second twin roared in rage and lashed outward at him, but Lee twisted out of the blade's way before catching the metal cable between the blade segments.

"Static Shock!" Lee growled, flooding his electricity along the blade and back to the twin, who spasmed, contorted, and screamed before Lee ended the electricity, allowing him to crumple to the ground, still twitching. "You had bad luck facing me. I'm lightning and you're metal."

The first twin's blades exploded into his side, hurling him, but he flipped, his jetpack and boots stopping his flight before he dropped back to the ground, checking his side and finding it undamaged.

"Nice try," Lee smirked. "But you're not...oh go fuck yourselves."

The first twin was injecting both himself and his brother with Trigger, and a moment later, the mutation kicked in drastically. A pair of new blades exploded from each twin's shoulder, four new blades each, the ends of their hair turned white and the rest pale blue, their hair stood up, and their skin went pale as their canines grew into fangs. When they both laughed, their voices were high and vibrating.

"Sorry guys," Lee sighed. "I might need a minute for this."

Then, he exploded forward. This time, it was entirely different. Their number of blades weren't the only thing increased. Their speed, their striking power, and their reaction times. Everything was completely different. Lee managed to catch one blade, but before he could electrocute the twin attached to it, four blades stabbed into the ground to ground him. Then, six more blades exploded into him to throw him before the grounded twin's free blade crashed into him, hurling him into the cliff. He grunted as he slammed into it, then exploded free of the cliff just ahead of a flurry of blades, only for the other twin to strike from above, sending him exploding into the ground. He growled in annoyance and flipped, avoiding three blades, then exploded toward the twin still on the ground. Six blades lashed out from above, and he bobbed and weaved around them, then flipped and spun past the other twin's remaining three. Finally, he reached him, only for the twin from the air to explode into his back feet first, pulled by his blades. Lee sailed past the brother he'd meant to attack, bouncing twice before flipping and slamming his blurred feet into the ground, shattering it and stopping on a dime.

"You two are a real headache!" Lee snarled. "But you're still not the worst I've fought."

Both twins laughed in their high, aggravating voices and lashed outward in a flurry of blades, Lee ducking, spinning, and pivoting around and through the blades, working his way forward. However, before he could reach them, a blade's tip exploded into his back, sending him bouncing past the twins yet again. He flipped, slamming his feet to the ground and stopping himself again, narrowing his eyes. Then, as all of their blades lashed out, he leaned forward, exploding forward as electricity screamed over him. That was enough. He was running out of time. The pros could yell at him for excessive force later. Right now, he had to put them down and ensure everyone else survived. He rocketed past the blades, reaching the twins before they could react, then swung his arms over himself. Their blades all but exploded, and he grabbed them both by the face.

"Lightning Bomb!" Lee shouted, electricity exploding over them both, both spasming and screaming before he smashed both into the cliff.

He released them, allowing them to crumple to the ground, both of them down for the count. Then, he exploded into the fortress. He leapt across a gaping hole in the floor, and a couple second later, he reached Midoriya and Flect Turn. Just as he arrived, Midoriya slammed a punch into Flect Turn. A massive, black vortex appeared opposite Flect Turn from Midoriya for the briefest of moments, then shot back inward before Midoriya was repulsed, sending him flying backward.

"He reflects all force applied to him," Legacy warned. "But there's a delay."

"And Midoriya's too slow to utilize it," Lee said. "Got it."

Lee shot forward, his arms both blurring below the forearm.

"Midoriya, move!" Lee roared.

Midoriya leapt away and Flect Turn began to turn, only for Lee's right arm to slam a dozen punches into his jaw in an instant before Lee pivoted, just barely getting out of the way before the reflected force exploded off of Flect Turn like an explosion. Lee spun around, frilling his blurred left fist into Flect Turn's gut, then pivoted back the other way once again only barely avoiding the reflected force. Flect Turn shouted in surprise and annoyance, slamming a punch into Lee's crossed arm, and Lee shouted in pain and surprise as he sailed backward. The force of the punch had been multiplied by Flect Turn's Quirk, allowing him monstrous power. Lee's suit had survived the blow unscathed, but the force had still gotten through and rattled Lee's bones. He crashed into the wall hard, then dropped to his feet, breathing hard. He burned up a lot of power putting the twins down.

"Midoriya," Lee said. "There's a split-second delay before the force is reflected. If you use Air Impact, you should be able to dodge it, or else block the reflected blast with a second, since they're equal in force."

Midoriya nodded. "Right!"

Lee shot forward as Midoriya fired an Air Impact, then a second a moment later, canceling the reflected first. Lee slammed a blurred left haymaker into Flect Turn's jaw, then spun, slamming a right into his back just as the first punch reflected. He flipped over him, activating his jetpack and slamming an uppercut, thanks to the angle he was at, into the back of Flect Turn's head as he flipped over him, avoiding the reflected blast, then flipped, slamming a blurred axe kick down into his shoulder, immediately getting his arm out of the way. Flect Turn roared in rage, drilling a punch into Lee and sending him exploding backward just before Midoriya slammed a punch into him, moving a hair too slow to avoid the reflected blast fully, but escaping about half. Then, Lee exploded into Flect Turn, this time with a solid strike, gritting his teeth for the inevitable. Except, just as his blow struck Flect Turn's face, red light shimmered over his face and his feet skidded backward several inches. Then, the reflected force exploded into Lee, hurling him. He flipped, stopping himself and grimacing. He'd gotten stress fractures on that one, but his suit had dispersed the worst of it. Midoriya exploded into Flect Turn with a kick, once again forcing Flect Turn back slightly, then exploded backward. Lee exploded forward, slamming a blurred left into Flect Turn's jaw, then pivoted away. The delay was larger this time, and the reflected force was lower. He drilled a right into Flect Turn's side, then spun back the other way and out of the way of the blast. He drilled three more rapid strikes into Flect Turn before retreating just as a barrage of Air Impacts slammed into him. He skidded backward just before Midoriya exploded into him with a kick. This time, as Midoriya struggled against Flect Turn's Quirk, the chest of Flect Turn's shirt shredded itself before he suddenly shot backward ten feet. Midoriya followed it up with another strike and this time the force deflected around Flect Turn as he skidded back again, causing the entire wall behind Flect Turn to explode. Then, it was Lee's turn. He smashed a blurred roundhouse kick into the side of Flect Turn's head from behind, and after a moment of fighting against Flect Turn's Quirk, Flect Turn exploded away, Lee's leg stinging but uninjured.

"We've got you now, bastard!" Lee grinned.

"How is this happening!?" Flect Turn demanded. "Have I reached my boundaries!? I didn't know such a thing was possible!"

"Because you gave up," Midoriya said, stepping up beside Lee. "If you didn't lose hope, if you kept trying, you might have been able to get along with people! But instead you decided that powers are a disease and chose to wallow in self-pity! You're a failure because you stopped trying!"

"Be silent!" Flect Turn snarled.

"A hero knows what it means to keep fighting until the end!" Midoriya growled, preparing himself again as Lee did the same.

"Shut your mouth!" Flect Turn ordered.

"That's why we always remind ourselves what we have to do!" Midoriya said.

"You filth!" Flect Turn shouted.

"Go beyond!" Midoriya shouted, exploding forward. "Plus Ultra!"

"Shut up!" Flect Turn roared, moving to meet Midoriya's punch with his own.

Except, Lee reached Flect Turn first. His blurred left arm slammed into Flect Turn's forearm as his left leg slammed into Flect Turn's right, Lee's boots active to keep him from falling as he threw the lopsided strike. The force couldn't reflect perfectly, and Flect Turn's punch was thrown out of Midoriya's way at the same time as Lee successfully swept his legs out from under him, flipping him sideways and streaking out of Midoriya's path. Then, Midoriya's fist exploded into Flect Turn's face hard. Flect Turn sailed away, then flipped, landing on his feet, just in time for Lee to slam a blurred right hook into his jaw. Flect Turn shot backward, flipping and landing on his feet, then went on the offensive against both. Each of his strikes lacked less and less power the more damage he took, and each of theirs dealt more and more damage, but even so, the force of the blows was destroying the room. They all raced around and around the room, strike after strike slamming into each other and obliterating parts of the room, launching each other into the walls, the ceiling, the floor. At one point, Lee slammed a flying drop kick into Flect Turn's back and shattered the spine-shaped harness holding a dozen-odd mirrors around Flect Turn, then sent him sailing into Midoriya's fist, which sent him exploding into a column. Midoriya chased him, only for Flect Turn's Quirk to beat out the force of his punch, sending Midoriya exploding into the floor before Flect Turn caught him by the throat. Before he could do anything, Lee's right Fist exploded into the side of his head at Lee's max base speed, and Flect Turn exploded away from them. Then, just as he stood, Lee appeared over him, both arms blurring as they exploded into Flect Turn again and again, slamming against his Quirk too fast for the Quirk to have time to reflect them before the next strike forced it to build up even higher.

"Midoriya, go!" Lee ordered. "The bombs!"

Midoriya took off, racing down a hallway deeper into the hideout as Lee continued blasting Flect Turn. Finally, Flect Turn threw a punch back and Lee spun, exploding out of the path of the built-up force. It exploded out of Flect Turn all at once, shattering every inch of the room in front of Flect Turn and completely overwhelmed his Quirk. He fell to his knees, his skin that of a human now, and Lee stepped forward, drilling a punch into his jaw and knocking him out. Then, he sighed, grinning, and fell to his hands and knees, panting. He was out of power, he'd worked both of his arms to stress fractures, along with his right leg from the dropkick earlier, and he had done it. That left the last of it to Midoriya. If he could reach the control device, everyone would be saved. Lee sighed, turning and sitting against a chunk of rubble beside him, waiting. Finally, Midoriya returned with Rody, who was severely injured.

"All clear?" Lee asked.

"Yeah," Midoriya nodded. "I've got to get him outside where there's room to treat his wound, and enough light to see."

"Go," Lee said. "I'll catch up in a minute."

Midoriya nodded and ran off, Lee sighing and looking to Flect Turn. However, after a moment, Beros stepped up beside him.

"Oh, hey," Lee said. "There you are. Where were you?"

"I was helping your other two friends against one of Humarise's strongest," Beros said. "But I saved one arrow for this." She drew her bow back, aiming at Flect Turn's head, but Lee set a hand on her arm.

"It's over," Lee said. "He's going to spend the rest of his life in prison. There's no need to kill him."

Beros glared at Flect Turn, remaining motionless for a long while, then let the tension out of her bow, sighing and putting the arrow away as she transformed her thumb and pinky back. "Come on. Let me help you walk."

"Thanks," Lee smiled.

She took his right arm over her shoulders, supporting his weight as he limped out of the base to where Midoriya was bandaging Rody's wounded abdomen. Then, she passed him her arrow before returning for Flect Turn, dropping him unceremoniously on the ground once she returned with him, Flect Turn grunting, then groaning weakly.

"Thank you," Beros said. "For saving me."

"You're welcome," Lee smiled. "Wonder how long it'll be before anyone shows up."

"Probably a few hours," Beros said. "At least."

Lee nodded and yawned, leaning back against the cliff. "Keep an eye on the twins for me. They're annoying."

Beros nodded, and Lee drifted off to sleep.
