This chapter is super short and I apologize for that. I was checking the list for the 25 Days of Updates and realized I misnumbered the chapters for this story. In other words, I was two chapters behind in my writing besides one. To remedy that, I took this section off the next chapter so I would only be behind one. With that in mind, next chapter will be on the shorter side.

Thank you for understanding and please enjoy the story.

The next day, after finishing her Chemistry test earlier, Princess Evie was waiting patiently in the picnic area for a certain boy to tell her his results of the test.

And yet, she found herself surprisingly surprised when a different boy approached her.

"I need your help," he claimed in a somewhat of a defeated tone.

Evie raised an unconvinced eyebrow. "What do you want me to do for you now, Chad?" She interrogated briskly. "Are you wanting answers for the next test? Or did you want to cheat in another class?"

"I'm sorry," Chad immediately apologized, adjusting the weight of the dog in his arms, "about trying to trick you into doing my work for me. Chemistry is really difficult for me because I have no idea about any concepts in the class. I asked the headmaster if I could transfer out after the first class, but he said I would have to wait until semester. I shouldn't have approached you like I had for help and I promise I won't do it again."

Evie blinked once. She blinked twice. After the third blink, she wondered, "Who are you and what happened to that arrogant boy that came from the Isle?"

"He was an act and an asshole to everyone," Chad admitted. "Ben gave me a second chance, so I decided I would start over my life in Auradon to make a better first impression. I could really use your help."

Staring at him suspiciously, the princess interrogated, "What exactly do you need from me?"

"A leash and collar for Dude," Chad answered, lifting the puppy for emphasis. "The accident with Ben and Princess Mal happened because he didn't have either one and his owner being neglectful, but that's besides the point. I asked Carlos if he had any old ones I could have, and he said you'd be able to make one that fit Dude better. Can you make one for me, please?"

Debating on it for a few seconds, Evie sighed in mock reluctance. "I guess I can design something that would work. I could never resist literal puppy dog eyes." Smiling softly, the princess guaranteed, "Meet me after school around here and I'll have something for him."
