Hi. I'm bi.
I'm bi in many ways.
Biracial.
Bi-cultural.
Bi…special? As in species? I am half-human and half-vampire.
I'm also…bisexual.
That's right. Bisexual.
I'm attracted to both men and women.
I want to sleep with both men and women.
Is that so wrong?
In some cultures, yes.
In Japan…mostly yes.
I stand out like a sore thumb in this country.
A hafu who is also a member of the LGBTQIA community?
Does one exist?
You're looking at her.
And she's damn proud of it!
In a country where collectivism and conformity are life in a way, I like where I stand.
And so do my friends.
Especially the one with the red hair and the most beautiful facial features I have ever seen.
There's no way he's straight.
I've seen the way he looks at me but I've seen the way he looks at that three-eyed, emo, little troll.
I don't mind it, I'm not jealous or selfish.
Hell, throw in the pretty girl with the pink kimono and we can all have a party. Hehe.
But that's exactly what I mean. There's absolutely nothing wrong with one's sexual orientation.
Nothing whatsoever.
So why are we getting the short end of the social stick?
I mean, what good does it really do?
It's not affecting the wealth of Japan.
Japan is doing fine in that department.
The health of Japan…nah, I don't think so either.
Didn't the entire world just get over a pandemic?
Yeah, so…
Anyway, enough ranting.
I just wanted to say I'm proud of who and what I am.
I'm proud of who I love or choose to love.
I'm proud of the month of June because…I get to celebrate in two different ways.
My birthday, June 17th (shout-out to all June Geminis)
And it's LGBTQIA pride month.
Hooray ️ 🌈!
So June is really…a bi holiday for me!
Here's to being bi!
Hi. I'm bi.
