"Majima the way you enjoy your work is so very refreshing my old club wasn't like that at all. I'm envious of you!" Cheerily, Chika gushes giddily as she leans into Majima's side in the booth as the two have their talk trial.
"Heh really? No need to be jealous you're part of the team now too!" Majima smirks down at her.
"Haha! Well it would be ice if you didn't have to talk to the others girls and Namie as much but I guess that's the job…" Chika cheekily winks.
"Huh? Wahhadya mean?" Majima furrows his brow befuddled.
"No forget I said anything." Chika dismisses.
"…? So Chika-chan you've got some real industry experience under your belt the what's your plan for the future?" Majima asks her.
"Well it's not exactly an extension of the job but there is something I want to be…I want to be a bride." Beaming, Chika reveals.
"Oh okay. I'm sure brides make good-wait what!? A bride!?" Baffled, Majima gawks at her response.
Is it strange for me to say that I want to be a bride?" Befuddled, Chika quirks her head to the side.
"N-No it ain't strange. It was just that it was such an innocent dream and I wasn't ready for it." Majima admits.
"I really want to live a happily married life. I want a romantic relationship with a great man and I want to build a great family with him." Happily, Chika gushes.
"What kinda family do ya want?" Majima pries.
"Right first we'll build a house with a large red roof by the ocean and live there, just the two of us. Our pet Siberian husky will roam free in our yard oh and in the second year of our marriage we'll have a daughter and in the third year, a son! A family of four would be ideal. On weekends we'll get in our car and…" Animatedly, Chika gushes giddily, her hues shimmering shining as next she knew…
"Wh-Whoa Chika-chan! I don't mean to pull ya back when you're so happy but ya left me in the dust back there." Tense, Majima pulls her back to reality.
"Oh I'm sorry. My imagination was running wild in this fantasy." Blushing, Chika smiles shyly.
"Well ya sounded pretty nice and happy I hope ya get a family just like that someday. Regardless you're a great catch just gotta wait for the right one to come along so that dream of yours it's gonna come true." Majima assures Chika.
"That would be nice but I don't really meet any men outside of work." Chika confesses.
"Is that so bad? People fall in love at work all the time. Don't ya think any of your customers are attractive guys?" Goro argues.
"Attractive customers tend to do very well with women and men who come to clubs like this usually enjoy their relationships elsewhere too." Chika considers.
"Hmm…well it ain't just customers ya meet at a cabaret who knows maybe you'll fall for one of the waiters." Majima suggests.
"Right I suppose I could go out with the staff at the club that means the waiters or…maybe a general manager?" Mischievously, Chika winks.
"Yeah, yeah! You could go out with the general manager! Except…hey that's me!" Majima realizes.
"Haha yes that's correct Majima san you're a great person too!" Chika compliments him.
"Is this another joke of yours Chika-chan it ain't nice to tease!" Majima exclaims.
"Haha what do you think?" Smiling, Chika exclaims just as the club doors open…
'Scuse me…" Shyly, a voice calls out as a man in red walks in.
"Hm? Oh I'm sorry we aren't open yet." Youda approaches the man in red.
"Oh I know I was wondering if R-Namie was here?" Nishiki quickly corrects himself.
"Namie?" The girls perk up at the name.
"What do you want with her?" Majima slowly stands from the booth brow furrowed at the boy before him.
"Uh we're just meeting with a friend of ours I promised to pick her up." Awkwardly, Akira answers smiling strained at Majima.
"Namie has friends!?" Frowning, Yuki gasps.
"So Nishiki you're friends with Namie san…" Ai smoothly slides into the booth.
"E-Eh yeah we grew up together at sunflower." Shyly, Akira answers.
"Sunflower what's that?" Yuki quirks her head to the side.
"Oh the orphanage we grew up in…" Nishiki clarifies.
"O-Orphanage? So Namie san is…an orphan!?" Hibiki gasps.
"She really hasn't told you much has she?" Nishiki gathers.
"No not really, Namie doesn't seem to like to talk about it." Saki adds.
"Not to mention us always talking about ourselves we never even really ask about her…" Ai adds anguished.
"Yeah…sounds like her. She's always been taking care of others, she'd always help out with cooking or have a book in her hand, she was supposed to go to university you know? Had a scholarship and everything." Nishiki reveals oblivious to Majima's furrowed frown at Chika continues conversing at him.
"A scholarship!? That's amazing! What happened? What stopped her?" Ai asks amazed.
"Well…her dad." Nishiki shrugs.
"…Her dad?" Saki perks up.
"He…died recently." Nishiki reveals making the girl's face pale even Majima flinches from it.
"Recently? If he were alive all this time why didn't he raise her?" Hibiki queries confused.
"Who knows…all I know is he left something for her and after that she refused to go to uni." Nishiki reveals.
"She did?" Yuki says shocked.
"Yeah our caretaker wasn't happy but it was her decision." Akira sighs brow furrowed from the murky mad memory of Kazama yelling at the glaring blonde barking back.
"Poor Namie san…" Ai says softly sadly.
"She's always been strong always helping out the kids back at the orphanage whether it be with their homework or chores. She always helped still I think her doing what she did broke the old man's heart he really was set on her having a happy life." Akira smiles sadly it was rare for Kazama to raise his voice but…by the end of it he folded.
"Whose to say she isn't happy?" Snippily, Majima reaches for a nearby drink on the table.
"Majima san!" Yuki gasps at him.
"Just cause she isn't living the life how he wants doesn't mean she isn't happy." Majima state sipping said drink.
"…" Akira glares at the back of the ponytailed man.
"S-Say N-Nishiki san!" Smiling, Saki leaps in.
"Hm?" Akira turns to her.
"You sound so happy when talking about Namie san…" Saki begins…
"Yeah…I guess she's just amazing you know? She's strong, smart, beautiful…she really is amazing." Akira whispers softly smiling staring down at the drink below, a faint feverish tint to his crimson cheeks earning a fair few looks from the girls.
"Nishiki san could it be…!" Yuki places her hand over her mouth.
"Do you have a crush on Namie-san?" Ai adds equally as shocked.
"H-Huh? O-Of course not! I mean…someone like me being with someone like her…there's no way she could see me as anything more." Miserably, Akira smiles sadly strained at the fact of the matter, a still silence hanging heavily in the air until perking up at the sound of the door.
"Okay Yuki I got the specific rice you…" Ryūko places the shopping bag down on the counter.
"Heeey R-EPP" Happily, Nishiki opens his mouth dread doo washing over at the slip up as next thing he knew, the bag she had held was thrown in his face fierce crimsons current gush out of his nose form said strike.
"…" Silently, Ryūko stares at her fallen friend attempting to process her slip of hand.
"…" Silently, the girls stare stunned down at the battered, broken, beaten mess of Nishiki.
"Akira…" Angrily, Ryūko glares down at the boy below her cracking her knuckles.
"EE-Ek! I'm sorry I'm sorry i'm sorryi'msorryi'msooorrry!" Squealing, said male thrashes as she is swiftly bonked on the top of the head before being grabbed by the ear dragged out of the booth.
"We're leaving now." Resolved, Ryūko sates the fact firmly turning to the door.
"But…!" The girls try to argue wanting more information but…
"But nothing!" Ryūko snaps sharply at them.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, I'm sorrrrry!" Nishiki cries thrashing his arms about.
"Oi Namie where do you think you're going?" Goro glares shooting out from the booth brow furrowed at the two.
"Out. The club won't be open for a while and I'm entitled to it." Irritated, Ryūko
"Oi Namie!" Mad, Majima calls out but it falls to deaf ears as she heads out, holing Nishiki by the ear as he cries from it all at her mercy…
"And there she goes…" The group watch on as Nishiki dragged out of the club, heading who knows where…
"You're brought me here…for a game." Unimpressed, Ryuko furrows her brow at the line before her, feeling her eye twitch at the lone line. A part of her surprised to see so many adults outside the children's toy store she assumed as she then glanced at one of the grown men that being Nishiki bouncing up and down by her side, trying to play off the extra skip to his stpe but clearly playing it off wrong.
"Not just a game! This is on the rage right now." Boastfully, Nishiki proclaims making Ryuko sigh, shaking her head at her friend. Nishiki was always a man who obsessed over trends she never saw why he had such a habit, sure she liked stuff but only if she invested enough time into it, Nishiki could just invest into anything so long as it was popular, it was both a blessing and curse to Nishiki, Ryuko knew well. Ryuko frowns remembering a fair few times of him on his hands and knees begging her for some money for some fashionable thing, he knew he wouldn't get it from Kiryu and Ryuko would always agree at a price of course.
"Hey kid what's this line for?" Curious, Ryuko asks the kid believing he will give her a better answer than Nishiki.
"Um did you want one too? I'm really sort but they said I'll get the last one in stock." Apologetic, the kid sighs sadly.
"What are you on about?" Perplexed, Ryuko quirks her head to the side.
"Wait last one you're kidding me!?" Miserably, Nishiki cries out making Ryuko groan at the grown man before her earning a few looks sent their way only to be swiftly silenced by her sharp glare.
"Ignore the man child before me and continue please." Politely, Ryuko requests from the kid waving her hand at Nishiki brushing him off, trying to comprehend the situation before her.
"Aren't you lining up for Ara-Q3?" Confused, the kid questions Ryuko.
"Well he was not me. So what is it?" Ryuko gestures to Nishiki by her side, giving him a small wave.
"It's the newest game in the Arakure series." Happily, the boy beams brightly, a glint gleaming in his eye eager to talk about the topic.
"Oh a videogame yeah I outgrew those days unlike a certain someone." Softly, Ryuko smiles at the memory of her and her siblings going down to the arcade after school, Yumi insisting she play against the bored Ryuko or Nishiki's younger sister, the two loved the game as did Kiryu and Nishiki she on the other hand didn't enjoy it as much. She found the place too cramped, too many people, she hated it. But if her friends liked her then she spent some time there though it would often end up with her on some nearby bench, reading some book as the others played the arcade to their hearts content.
"Only because you got angry at losing." Smugly, Nishiki points out making Ryuko scoff, shaking her head at him.
"Only because I found something more rewarding to do with my time." Smirking, Ryuko counters.
"Nerd. "Cheekily, Nishiki pokes her cheek making Ryuko's eye twitch.
"I'm sorry who got a scholarship abroad? Oh right me." Playfully, Ryuko drapes her arm over Nishiki's shoulder bringing him close unaware of the faint ruby red tint to his cheeks.
"Ara Q3's short for Arakure III: Quest for the Quantum Quill. I can't wait to read the instruction manual on the way home!" Excitedly, the kid cuts the two off as Ryuko leans over Nishiki using him as a structure to steady herself as she leans over the kid slightly.
"This game must be pretty good for this sort of line." Impressed, Ryuko notes a hand on her hip.
"Yeah it's the most popular game in Japan right now! I went looking for it with papa, but they were sold out everywhere." Sadly, the kid confesses to the two.
"Hey I could have told you that." Nishiki argues only to see her flat frown.
"After an hour or so of you rambling about it." Tiredly, Ryuko deadpans making Nishiki grumble, glaring to the side form her words.
"You're mean you know that. No wonder you're single." Slouching, Nishiki tuts making Ryuko's eye twitch.
"Not my fault I don't cry from a single stray strand of hair." Huffing, Ryuko shoves her hands into her pockets.
"A stray strand where!?" Panicked, Nishiki places his hands flat on his head trying to smooth it out making Ryuko sweat drop at her point proven right before her eyes.
"But then my friend told me this place was getting a new batch today. So, I grabbed my allowance and ran all the way here. I made it just in time and got the last reservation ticket! I'm so happy! It's gonna be the best game ever made!" Giddily, the kid explains to Ryuko who smiles softly finding him jumping up and down hands up in the air to be a rather endearing sight for her.
"Fair play kid, saving up isn't easy for kids these days let along having the patience to wait for a single game." Impressed, she leans down placing her hand on his head patting his head.
"Thanks!" Grateful, the boy smiles up at her.
"You could take a page out of this book Nishiki. Nishiki?" Slyly, Ryuko remarks only to furrow her brow when seeing said male gone making both boy and girl furrow their brow when seeing the grown adult approach, a kid ahead of the two, a ticket in hand.
"So how about me? I'll give you…" Eagerly, Nishiki offers making Ryuko furrow her brow.
"Nishiki are you bribing a child?" Ryuko scowls.
"No…? I'm negotiating." Nishiki glances from side to side.
"That's it!" Ryuko snaps grabbing him by his collar making him release a choked shocked squeak.
"No my ARA Q3!" Pained, Nishiki cries out to the high heavens, earning a few looks from passers-by watching on as the blonde drags the wailing whining man child away from the line…
"Hm?" Majima furrows his brow when taking note of the man staring at the family of mother and son from afar as Majima then takes note of the ball below his feet.
"Excuse me can you throw me my ball please?" Politely, the boy asks Majima.
"Sure got it." Majima goes to pick up the ball.
"W-Wait please. Th-That ball may I…?" Hopeful, the man begins but…
"Huh? What?" Mystifed, Majima cuts him off lost.
"Can I have my ball please?" Politely, the boy interrupts the two grown men.
"Yeah, comin' right up! Here goes!" Majima reels said ball back.
"Whoa! Thank you!" Amazed, the boy catches said ball.
"Ah…" Anguished the man bows his head.
"What's up with this weirdo? Got pretty dejected all of a sudden…Majima couldn't help but eye the rejected man by his side.
"Hey what's got ya down in the dumps? Did you wanna throw the ball or something?" Majima approaches the man.
"Yes very much so…" Sadly said male bows his head.
"Surely ya don't need to be that despondent over it. You're making me feel all guilty over here." Honestly, Majima complains.
"I…I just wish I could have played catch with him even if it were just that one throw." Tentatively, the man sighs sadly.
"Why him?" Majima furrows his brow befuddled.
"Thank you for being so kind." The mother smiles softly, the boy by his mother's side too joining.
"Thanks for getting my ball." The boy beams brightly up at her.
"Uh huh you keep at it kid you'll make it to the pros." Majima compliments the kid.
"Bye bye misters!" Merrily, the kid waves and leaves with his mother.
"Bye bye…" The man by Majima's side exclaims.
"I ain't old enough to be a mister." Majima grumbles under his breath brow furrowed at the fleeting figures.
"Whatsa matter? Why're those two so fascinatin' to you?" Majima turns back to the guy.
"You have nothing to do with this maybe it wouldn't hurt to tell you. Those two…they're my wife and son." Sadly, the man reveals to Majima.
"Huh? What're you talkin' about? You were obviously just a random guy to both of them!" Majima gawks at the news.
"It's because…my wife and son can't recognize me." Miserably, the man bows his head.
"What? How's that possible?" Perplexed, Majima exclaims.
"Six months ago my face was surgically altered." The man tells Majima.
"Surgically altered? What for?" Majima pries puzzled.
"I can't get into details but it was yakuza related a little bit of trouble." Tense, the man sighs sadly.
"A little bit? Not so sure about that." Majima remarks.
"The real me is officially dead now I live as Keigo Akatani with a new face and identity." Akatani tells Majima.
"So you were forced into assumin' another life what's your real name?" Majima asks Akatani.
"The man I was is dead. Akatani is my real name now…I'm sorry." Sorrowfully, Akatani bows his head.
"Man that's complicated. Just imagin' it I can tell ya went through a hell of an ordeal." Goro grimaces.
"At first it was a shock everything I saw this stranger's face in the mirror. There's no one in the world who can recognise me for who I was. The realization made me want to kill myself. I fought the urge a long time. But then I remembered my family." Akatani admits to Majima.
"That mom and boy…" Majima catches on.
"Yes but I'm a stranger to them now the best I can do is watch them from afar like you saw me doing. Akatani adds.
"Can't ya just tell your wife and son about what happened and go back to 'em?" Majima disputes.
"If only I could…I doubt they'd believe such an outlandish story eve if I could convince them I doubt they would accept me as I am now. Besides I'm deep in the underworld. Deep enough to attract the kind of trouble that makes a man change his face just by being around me those two could be in danger. It's better than I just watch them from a distance." Dutifully, Akatani argues.
"Got ya. Man now I'm really sorry I threw that ball back to your boy." Majima apologizes.
"Please don't worry about it I'll wait for another opportunity." Akatani assures Majima.
"It's gotta be tough for ya take care huh?" Majima turns to leave.
"Thank you. You're the first person I spoke truthfully since my face was altered. If you don't mind may I ask your name?" Akatani asks Majima.
"It's Majima." Majima reveals.
"It would be nice if I could chat with you again Majima man well I should be going…" The man turns and leaves as Majima heads his own way.
"Do you remember that party when they dared you to kiss me?" Mischievously, Nishiki smirks at Ryūko as they exit out of a shop, smiling, Akira turns to the scowling slumped state of Ryūko holding bag after bag of who knows what…
"You mean when I punched you in the face." Frowning, Ryūko remarks.
"Still can't believe I had to go to hospital." Akira cradles his cheek.
"Hey how would you feel when a face suddenly pops up at you!" Ryūko rebukes.
"Normal people say hi." Nishiki exclaims.
"Normal people don't try to kiss people out of the blue!" Bluntly, Ryūko deadpans.
"It was mistletoe." Akira argues.
"It was holly!" Ryūko roars.
"You're lying! You're hiding something from me aren't you?!" The boy berates the girl before him as Akira and Ryūko stop in their tracks turning towards the two.
"Um…calm down Tat. I…I'm noy hiding anything!" Anxiously, the girl tries to explain herself however…
"Wow that's on your level of lying Nishiki." Ryūko remarks sweat dropping at the cross couple.
"Hey I'm not that bad." Annoyed, Akira argues.
"Really?" Ryūko raises a brow.
"Y-Yes…" Akira answers anxiously.
"I'm sorry but Mina I saw inside your purse." Pained, the man bows his head.
"Oooh!" Animatedly, Akira gasps.
"It was full of money." He adds.
"Oh." Disappointed, Akira slumps his shoulders.
"Why do you sound disappointed?" Ryūko raises a brow at her friend flabbergasted they stopped to even watch this…
"I thought he'd something like I saw a used condom or maybe someone else's phone number oh oh or maybe another girl's picture!" Passionately, Akira animatedly gushes as Ryūko raises a brow by her friend's imagination.
"You've been watching too many of those dramas again." Ryūko exhales exhaustion etched into her tense tired tone.
"They are good you just need to give them a chance!" Akira argues.
"I rather not rot my brain." Bluntly, Ryūko state.
"There had to be like 200,000 in there Mina your family isn't THAT rich. What's going on?" The boy demands from his girlfriend.
"H-How dare you poke around in my purse!" Mad, Mina glares at him.
"Ah yes changing the topic to shine the spotlight on him as the villain, the oldest trick in the book." Bemused, Ryūko remarks.
"Tat you're a jerk! I hate you!" Mad, Mina turns on her heel storming off.
"Mina…" Pained, the boy watches the girl leave leaving the dejected boy alone…
"Hello Majima san." Akatani greets the eye patched ponytailed male.
"Spyin' on your family from afar like usual I see. Don't seem to see your wife anymore though." Majima takes note of.
"Yes I think she's at her part time job." Akatani recalls.
"Your little boy what's his name?" Majima eyes the boy all on his lonesome.
"It's Yusuke." Akatani answers.
"Little Yusuke-kun looks bored bein' by himself Akatani why don't ya go play with Yusuke-kun?" Majima suggests.
"Huh but…!" Anxiously, Akatani falters from the thought.
"Who cares about your face? It shouldn't matter if ya playing with him as a total stranger." Seriously, Majima tells him.
"Th-That might be true but…" Akatani trails off worriedly.
"Oh for cryin' out loud! C'mon I'll go with ya! Let's go!" Majima strides over to the boy.
"Majima-san wait!" Apprehensive, Akatani chases after his friend.
"Hi misters what's up?" Yusuke perks up at the familiar figure of Majima.
"Dammit I ran up to this kid but now what? What'll I say to him? Majima ponders to himself.
"Yusuke-kun come play with us!" Majima blurts out.
"Huh? How do you know my name?" Yusuke's hues narrow at Majima.
"Uh well cause I heard it from this guy here." Majima glances over at Akatani.
"Huh who are you?" The boy turns to the other man.
"This is bad Majima san I've never had anything to do with the boy in my current identity!" Akatani panics perturbed.
"Oh that's right! Got careless sorry, sorry my mistake I got into my head you look like a Yusuke…" Meekly, Majima grimaces at he boy's face…
"Aw crap Yusuke-kun's lookin' all suspicious now!
"Yusuke-kun was it? What are you up to?" Akatani takes the reigns.
"I was watching these ants." Yusuke points to the trail below.
"Is that fun?" Frowning, Majima queries.
"Not really." Yusuke responds.
"What the heck?" Majima mutters mystified.
"Yusuke do you play at this park a lot?" Akatani asks him.
"Yup with my mom if she's not working and by myself if she is. When my dad was here he sued to paly with me but he's gone now." Sadly, Yusuke bows his head at the thought of his father.
"Yusuke do you miss him?" Akatani asks Yusuke.
"Sure I miss him but if I say that mom gets sad and lonely so I don't say I'm sad anymore." Yusuke admits.
"Wow you're a strong boy Yusuke-kun." Akatani praises him.
"Hehe!" Happily, the boy beams at the compliment.
"Would it be okay if us old guys joined you? So we can watch these ants together?" Akatani asks him.
"Sure let's do that!" The boy agrees.
"Thank you." Akatani smiles down at the boy below.
"He's the kid's dad all right knows how to deal with his kid…
"You know you could be more subtle when it comes to that sort of thing." Tiredly, Ryūko eyes the intrigued Akira peering over the wall watching the feuding couple separate from one another.
"I'm not that oblivious…" Akira huffs at Ryūko.
"At least stop peering in so obviously!" Ryūko furrows her brow by his next practically popping out of his slot to watch…
"Hey!" Akira reveals to himself to the sad student.
"Wah! Who are you two?" Tense, the boy leaps back by the two.
"Your guardian angels!" Akira animatedly declares determined.
"Actually we overheard your argument and got nosy." Ryūko calmly corrects.
"We're not nosy!" Annoyed, Akira pouts puffing his cheeks out.
"We are." Unapologetic, Ryūko deadpans.
"I'm sorry if we made you uncomfortable, that girl Mina is my girlfriend. But she's been acting strange lately." The boy reveals to them.
"Strange how?" Akira asks.
"Is she distracted often? Turning you down more? Not there in bed!" Bemused, Ryūko remarks.
"Ryuko!" Akira glares lightly at the bemused blonde.
"What? I'm asking the real questions." Ryūko simply shrugs.
"Ignore her she's a perv." Akira waves Ryūko off.
"So are you!" Ryūko huffs.
"Strange how exactly?" Akira asks turning back to the topic at hand.
"All of a sudden she started turning me down a lot. We almost never go out on dates now." The boy reveals to them.
"There are plenty of fish in the sea." Simply, Ryūko responds.
"Ryūko! Ignore him, look there could be plenty of reasons you guys are young she could very well be struggling with an upcoming exam or something." Smiling, Akira argues.
"Sure that's an idea if that was all I could understand but she's also been throwing a lot of money around lately. And on the rare occasion that we do go on a date she always wants to go buy lingerie by the bag full." The student says to them.
"Isn't that a good thing?" Akira argues.
"I got suspicious ad went through her purse. I found at least 20 10,000 notes in it." The boy tells them.
"There's plenty of fish in the sea. Wait, wait why are you looking in her bag!?" Zoned out, Ryūko repeats only to falter furrowing her brow by the boy.
"She's right you got to trust your partner." Akira adds.
"I did but after everything…" The student sighs sadly.
"Yeah she's most likely selling herself." Akira assumes.
"Akira! Look, selling herself is a big assumption there you cant just jump to that." Tiredly, Ryūko lightly slaps his shoulder.
"But how else could you explain why she's loaded and buying lingerie?" The boy questions.
"Well…" Ryūko begins, crossing her arms over her chest, quirking her head to the side, looking up thoughtfully.
"Now this I'd like to hear." Haughtily, Akira amused adds.
"Maybe if you'd shut up I could give the answer welp now its gone thanks Akira." Annoyed, Ryūko blames Akira.
"Just admit it you didn't have the answer." Akira smirks smugly at Ryūko.
"Urgh you're annoying." Agitated, Ryūko glares at the smirking Akira.
"I know would you mind checking up on Mina for me? You're a girl you can talk to her about this sort of stuff!" The student asks hopeful.
"Kid strangers don't just go up and talk about this stuff." Scowling, Ryūko places a hand on her hip.
"Well…" Akira trails off.
"Akira." Annoyed, Ryūko gives him a warning look.
"Sorry, sorry." Apologetic, Akira bows his head.
"Just find out what she's up to please!" Pleadingly, he begs to her.
"N-" Ryūko refuses but…
"We'll be happy too!" Akira cuts her off before Ryūko could even refuse…
"I have to go home now bye! Bye!" Beaming, Yusuke smiles at both Akatani and Majima turning to leave.
"Bye bye." Akatani waves back.
"See ya." Majima nods his head to the fleeting figure of the boy.
"Thank you Majima san you made it possible for me to spend time with my son." Smiling, Akatani thanks Majima.
"I was thinking maybe I forced a little too much…" Majima grimaces glancing to the side.
"Haha you might be right but thanks to you I got to be with my son so thank you. I have to be going now Akatani's got work to do see you Majima-san." Akatani turns and leaves.
"Akatani sure seemed happy makes sense finally getting' to talk to his son again hm?
"…Majima furrows his brow by the group of men in suits staring at the fleeting figure.
"Hey, you got some business with him?" Majima calls out to the group.
"…!" Swiftly, said group flinch fleeing from Majima.
"What's with them?" Majima couldn't help but ponder but before he could think more about it…
"Um excuse me." Meekly, a woman approaches Majima.
"Hm? What's up?" Majima turns to the woman.
This lady she's the wife of Akatani…
"Have you seen a little boy here he would have been alone." Politely, she asks Majima.
"A little boy? You mean Yusuke…" Majima clocks on.
"That's right but how did you know his name?" The woman quirks her head to the side.
"Uh well…I actually got to be friends with your boy and played with him the other day." Majima reveals.
"Oh I see have you see him today? I came to get him but he's not her…" The woman confesses.
"Can't say I have I thought he had gone to meet with you…that's worrin' I'll keep an eye out." Majima promises.
"Thank you I'll keep looking too." The woman bows her head grateful, the two taking off on the search for Yusuke…
"There she is! She has the uniform and all…" Akira points out from peering over the corner of the wall watching the girl.
"I can see that. Now go." Ryūko ignites her cigarette not batting an eye to the slouched state of Akira as she firmly focuses on the stick in her hand.
"Huh why me?" Mystified, Akira furrows his brow at Ryūko.
"From what we gathered it's that sorta business." Briskly, Ryūko points out.
"So…?" Akira arches a brow.
"So that's your thing not mine." Resolved, Ryūko spews smoke form her lips swiftly shoving Akira out into the open.
"O-Oi! Ryūko!" Angrily, Akira glares at her as a fair few eyes fall on him stumbling in the middle of the streets, he turns to glare at Ryūko.
Good luck Akira!
Ryūko gives him a thumbs up.
"R-Right hey can I talk to you for a minute?" Akira coughs stumbling over to the girl that was the student's girlfriend.
"Uh sure are you a…customer?" Coyly, Mina asks Akira.
"What? A customer?!" Akira reels back.
"Oh I guess not do you want something?" Softly, she asks him.
"Sorry. This is all new to me could you tell me how this works?" Akira asks scratching the back of his neck.
"So you're a first time customer that's why you were uh so…tentative. Um sorry the first-time ca be awkward and embarrassing…" Meekly, Mina bows her head.
"The first time!?" Tense, the two falter from the girl's words.
"So uh what would you like? Top or bottom which do you want?" Mina asks as Akira flinches freezes from the question.
"T-Top or bottom!?" Blushing, Akira anxiously looks over at Ryūko not batting an eye to the two.
"T-Top of course…! H-Heh…" Loudly, Akira shouts startling Ryūko raising a brow by the outburst was he being attacked or something!? She scowls at his smug smirk sent her way.
"R-Right…" Shyly she bows her head.
"N-No wait! U-Um…bottoms…" Anxiously, Akira whispers weakly, his heated hues burning brightly shyly looking away from Ryūko's spot.
"My panties then just a moment." Mina leans down.
"Huh your panties?" Perplexed, Akira freezes from her words.
"Pardon you said you wanted bottom right?" Mina quirks her head to the side.
"Well yeah I did but why your underwear? I don't get it." Akira admits.
"I'm sorry if you misunderstood but I'm…a Bursera girl you know bloomers, sailor shits we sell gym clothes school unforms and lot of other stuff they've…worn before. In my case though I just sell my underwear." Mina explains to Akira.
"Wait you see used underwear? Who would buy that? Why!?" Astonished, Akira reels back baffled.
"Why? I guess men use them to do pervy things what else would it be? I don't really want to think about it! D-Don't judge me you're the one here trying to buy it." Tense, Mina glares to the side.
"Actually we're the ones trying to find out what you're doing." Smoothly, the click of heels echo.
"H-Huh?" Mina turns to Ryūko dropping her cigarette to the ground.
"Now then let's talk." Swiftly, she snuffs said cigarette out with her heel, ready to talk.
"Hey Yusuke your ma's looking for ya." Majima finds said boy alone.
"Mister!" Yusuke perks up at Majima.
"Somethin' wrong?" Majima furrows his brow at Yusuke.
"Some scary people came when I was playing in the park." Yusuke reveals.
"Scary people?" Majima furrows his brow.
"They tried to take me away so I ran away and came here." Honestly, he confesses to Majima.
"What!? What were they like!?" Alarmed, Majima demands from Yusuke.
"They were big and scary. They kept calling me Akatani's brat." Yusuke recites.
"Yusuke-kun your mom's waitin' for ya at the park we gotta get you back to her. I'll keep ya safe all right?" Majima promises Yusuke.
"…Okay!" Yusuke agrees following Majima back to his mother.
"So you sell your used underwear for guys to get off on…" Bluntly, Ryūko summarises said situation she had found herself dragged into.
"Ryūko!" Akira hisses at her.
"What?" Ryūko furrows her brow by Akira's firm frown.
"Subtly would be appreciated." Akira hints however…
"Urgh kid who you got you into this?" Tiredly, Ryūko pinches the bridge of her nose.
"H-Huh?" Meekly, Mina squeaks slightly.
"You clearly ain't the ringleader and you clearly are uncomfortable doing this so what's the deal?" Ryūko gets to it.
"Tat-chan right? Your boyfriend is worried about you." Akira attempts to soften said blow.
"Huh? How do you know Tat-chan?" Mina asks them.
"He put us up to this he thought you were selling your body and wanted us to find out." Akira reveals.
"Tat-chan thought I would do that? I would never sell myself!" Mad, Mina gasps hand over her chest.
"Then tell us what is going on. That can be something you two can discuss later. Now spill…" Strictly, she orders Mina.
"I don't…I don't want to do this either…!" Miserably, Mina burst into tears taking the two aback at the sobbing wreck before them…
"Oh hello Majima san Yusuke kun too." Akatani warmly welcomes the two to the park.
"Akatani have ya seen your…I mean Yusuke-kun's mom around here?" Majima queries.
"No I haven't I just got here myself is there a problem?" Perplexed, Akatani asks them.
"Well you see…" Majima begins but…
"Hey Akatani …!" The familiar group of men in suit stride in.
"Who are you people? Oh!" Akatani demands faltering from the person who has a blade to their neck.
"Mom!" Yusuke cries out to his mother.
"Yusuke!" His mother cries out to him.
"You're famous for being a lone wolf no ties no weaknesses wasn't easy trying to find how we could get to you but our diligence paid off. After following you around we noticed you're taking a lot of interest in these two." The leader of the men in suits smirks at Akatani.
"Are you out of your mind? I don't know those people!" Akatani lies.
"Oh then it won't bother you if we rough 'em up huh?" Haughty, the leader suggests smirking.
"Mom!" Yusuke cries out.
"Stop!" Akatani calls out but is stopped by the blade being thrown at his feet.
"No family history, no friends no lovers- you kept yourself invulnerable you stone cold snake. Who would've thought you'd have this chick in your arms if you don't want this ditch to die you know what you have to do. See if you keep doing what you're doing our business keeps taking hits we can ill afford. That said if word got out that we dealt with you ourselves it would complicate how we do business. So let's settle this amicably. Do it." The suited male sneers scowling gesturing to the blade below.
"…" Slowly, Akatani crouches down picking up said blade.
"What's wrong? It's a great two for one deal you get to save both the bitch and brat in return for your life. Doesn't get better than that." The leader takes note of his hesitation.
"You promise?" Akatani asks him.
"Sure." The leader smirks when just as Akatani raises the blade further when…
"Hey this woman ya say you're gonna spare who might that be?" Majima remarks as all eyes fall to the fallen figure of one of their men.
"What!?" The group gawk at their fallen friend glaring at the eye patched person above him.
"Ya got numbers but ya take a hostage anyway and you're too chicken to get blood on your own hands. If that ain't the textbook definition of cowardly then I'm rewritin' the dictionary." Majima taunts the men.
"Tch we hoped we keep this nice and clean but that's not happening. When a job needs doing I guess it's best to just get it done!" The leader growls.
"Akatani you keep Yusuke and his mom safe!" Majima calls out as the men soon surround Majima.
"Got it!" Akatani agrees as both his wife and son stay behind him.
"You're up first you're meddling asshole you're dead!" The leader roars as the group rush at Majima.
"Honestly I never wanted to do this Bursera thing…" Truthfully, Mina admits sniffing softly, the tears still freely falling from her.
"I thought as much." Ryūko sighs softly at the mess below.
"Um listen I'm sorry I got all emotional…" Mina sniffles slightly using the sleeve of her uniform to wipe the tears aside.
"Was it for the money?" Akira assumes.
"Some of us are in it for that but not me. I mean it's nice having money but it doesn't make me happy at all to buy things with money I got by selling my own panties." Mina admits.
"I guess no." Akira assumes.
"I'm just so afraid of Sachiko." Shaking, Mina confesses.
"Let me guess the ring leader." Ryūko places a hand to her hip.
"Y-Yeah, she figures out where we should be standing on the streets she also takes care of things if there's any trouble with the customer in return we have to submit a part of our earnings to Sachiko once a month." Mina explains to them.
"So she's the pimp." Pointedly, Ryūko answers.
"Can't you tell her you want to quit?" Akira asks.
"That' impossible as long as she's around I can't quit the high school girls around here are all Sachiko's friends if I tried, they'd all bully me. I…I don't want to sell my underwear anymore…" Anguished, Mina explains.
"Mina do you know where I can find Sachiko?" Softly, Ryūko asks her.
"I do but why would you want to know?" Mina furrows her brow befuddled.
"We're just gonna have a little chat." Coyly, Ryūko smiles softly as Mina easily buys said smile Akira on the other hand sweat drops from it feeling the trembling tremor descend down knowing that sweet sickly sadistic smile a mile away…
"I'm not sure Sachiko can be persuaded so easily." Mina frets frowning.
"It's worth a try." Truthfully, Akira argues.
"I think she's doing her business shift near the hotel distract she's a long-haired girl wearing a Sakazuki academy's uniform. It's a white collar with a blue scarf, she sometimes wears a cardigan though I'm not sure if she's wearing it today." Mina informs them.
"Thanks Mina." Akira tells her.
"No thank you I was going crazy because I couldn't talk to anybody about this thing please help me…" Mina begs.
"You can count on us." Akira promises placing her arm around her shoulder.
"Yeah now let's pay a visit to this Sachiko girl…" Ryūko turns on her heel, Akira following after her as they head to find this Sachiko girl.
"Gh! Y-You took all of us alone? Damn…" Groaning, the battered, beaten, bruised men groan as Majima stands over them.
"You boys seem to have the wrong impression. So lemme set ya straight the lady and kid are strangers to Akatani." Majima asserts annoyed.
"Th-That's a lie and you know it…" The leader grunts glaring but…
"If you don't wanna believe me now, I suppose I'll have to do a better job of convicnin' ya. Maybe permanently? I don't care either way but it's your call so MAKE IT." Majima smirks smugly down at the battered broken beaten men.
"Agh! I believe you! I believe!" Fearful, the group shakily stands staggering a bit.
"Don't you ever touch an innocent civilian again if you do. I will hut you, I will find you…and I will end you." Akatani adds as he growls as soon as he says said words…
"GOT IT! NEVER AGAIN! MERCY!" The whole group flee fearful.
"You sure can bring the menace out in your voice." Impressed, Goro gives him that.
"Haha it's useful in my line of work." Akatani smiles shyly at Majima.
"Mom!" Yusuke rushes over to his mother's side.
"Yusuke!" Yusuke's mother hugs him happy to have him back.
"Talk to 'em." Majima quirks his head over to them.
"…Yeah. I'm sorry you had to go through that. It's all because of me." Miserably, Akatani sighs sadly.
"Y-You're the man who's always in the park? " The woman recognises.
"I'll never show my face around you again. If you could please forgive me." Miserably, Akatani bows his head.
"Mister…thank you for protecting me from the bad people!" Yusuke thanks him.
"…Yuko please take care of Yusuke." Akatani tells her.
"Pardon?" Perplexed, Yuko places her hand over her mouth.
"Yusuke from now you protect your mom you got that?" Akatani tells his son.
"Y-Yes!" Yusuke stutters slightly.
"Okay take care." Akatani tells the two before approaching Majima.
"Majima-san here this is for saving Yuko and Yusuke." Akatani hands him some money.
"You sure 'about this? This don't feel right." Majima furrows his brow conflict clear on his furrowed features.
"With me around my family will be in danger. This is how it has to be." Akatani sighs sadly turning his back to the group.
"Mom that man is he…" Yusuke reaches out for the ball below.
"Hm? Yusuke do you know him?" His mother asks but…
"No but…da-mister!" Yusuke throws said ball at him.
"…!" Akatani catches said ball.
"Let's play catch again sometime!" Smiling, said boy waves at the man sadly staring down at the ball below before leaving heading his own way while his son and wife head their own…
"Is that…?" Akira begins but Ryūko brushes him off heading straight at the girl.
"Sachiko right?" Ryūko eyes the girl before her.
"Yes is something matter?" Sachiko scowls at her.
"This Bursera ring for one." Ryūko remarks.
"Oh well, well, well I wonder who put you up to this…" Tauntingly, Sachiko sneers crossing her arms over her chest.
"And I'm wondering what makes you think you can handle this game little girl." Ryūko exclaims.
"Tch an older timer you like is scared of some competition? People don't want your nasties grandma." Smugly, Sachiko sneers.
"I ain't old enough to be a grandma…!" Ryūko growls glaring to the side.
Yeah and anyone would be happy to have her panties." Proudly, Akira angrily joins in.
"Akira! Urgh look kid I wouldn't care if you weren't forcing people to work in it. You're going to get hurt if you keep at this!" Tiredly, Ryūko holds her head too tired to deal with them both.
"Are you threatening me?" Sachiko scowls.
"I'm warning you, this sort of thing can get out of hand easily if its just you dealing with the problem." Pointedly, Ryūko corrects her.
"You think I can't deal with it?" Sachiko sneers.
"Not alone not forever anyway." Aloofly, Ryūko shrugs.
"People are making a lot of money selling used clothes." Sachiko tries to defend herself.
"And their also endangering themselves by exposing themselves to such shady people." Purposefully, Ryūko adds.
"Look the customers want what we offer and we're not breaking any laws why shouldn't we do what we do?" Sachiko scowls.
"What if your parents were to find out? Think of the pain they would feel this is wrong!" Akira asserts.
"How could you be so cruel to bring up my parents?" Sachiko sharply sobs.
"I-I'm so sorry!" Apologetic, Akira apologises.
"Akira she's tricking you." Ryūko deadpans crossing her arms over her chest unamused.
"Huh?" Akira blurts out.
"I know crocodile tears when I see 'em." Resolved, Ryūko responds.
"You're sharp unlike your dimwit of a friend." Sachiko stops said tears.
"E-Eh?" Akira gawks at the girl wiping her tears away.
"Sike are you seriously that gullible!? Your friend can't even see through a lie that farfetched good job getting schooled by a school kid big mister adult man!" Mischievously, Sachiko snickers at the angry Akira.
"Nrgh! Girls shouldn't do this you need to act like ladies with some sense of decorum and…" Angrily, Akira begins but soon stops faltering from the familiar icy chill clawing down his shaking spine squeaking seeing Ryūko's familiar ice cold glare.
"Oh? So what you're saying is it's fine for a man to sell their underpants but not a women?" Sachiko scowls.
"Is that what you're saying Nishiki?" Ryūko joins in.
"I…I…" Akira staggers back sweat sliding down his tense temple from both glares.
"That's pretty blatant gender discrimination it's the 80s man stop thinking so old school." Sachiko tells him.
"I have to agree Akira." Ryūko admits.
"I thought you were on my side!" Akira scowls at her.
"My parents are long gone I have no one who would be hurt if they knew what I do. So my business doesn't present a problem for anyone." Sachiko sighs telling them how it is.
"Except your workers, which if reported could get you into a huge heap of trouble?" Tense, Ryūko reminds the girl.
"You think they'll go against me think again…" Arrogantly, Sachiko smirks.
"Sachiko when kids play with fire they're going to get burned." Bluntly, Ryūko warns the girl.
"Oh well I haven't gotten burned yet we'll see what happens when I do." Dubiously, Sachiko brushes her off.
"Alright you wanna get burnt so bad fine then Akira come on." Ryūko grabs Akira by the collar.
"Huh?" Akira squeaks as next he knew he was dragged away into a nearby alleyway as Ryūko approaches the payphone in the alleyway.
"Right then…" Ryūko types the digits in.
"What are you…?" Akira turns to furrow his brow at Ryūko, on the phone talking to someone as Akira peers in.
"I'm going to let that girl get burnt." Ryūko removes the phone from her ear.
"You are?" Akira arches a brow by her words.
"Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind Akira there we go." Ryūko smiles sweetly unnerving Aira as she places the phone down.
"What did you…?" Akira furrows his brow watching her send a message using her pager.
"There's been some of my girls complaining about some guys asking for their undergarments, one of them constantly mentioning how a Sachiko did it." Ryūko reveals firmly focusing on her page.
"You serious?" Stunned, Akira says shocked.
"Yeah I thought it was some other hostess trying to make a quick yen on the side still seems we can make use of that now, two birds one stone and all that jazz." Aloofly, Ryūko shrugs.
"H-Huh what are you?" Akira furrows his brow by her hand grabbing his shirt seeing the strange man approach Sachiko.
"Wait for it…" Smirking, she tells him oblivious to his heated facial features.
"Oh hello may I help you?" Sachiko turs to the man.
"Sachiko-chan…oh Sachiko-chan your panties were so sweet Sachiko-chan!" Smiling, said grown man coos at her.
"I…I'm glad to hear that. Did you come back for more?" Strained, Sachiko smiles.
"Sachiko-chan I love you! Love, love, love, I love you Sachiko-chan Sachiko-chan…" The man steps forward towards Sachiko.
"Uh um you're freaking me out here…." Hesitantly, Sachiko steps back brow furrowed.
"Hold it." Ryūko whispers feeling Akira tug forward attempting to intervene.
"What but..!?" Angrily, Akira turns to Ryūko.
"Not yet. The girl still thinks she can handle it…" Resolved, Ryūko responds pulling him back.
"We can't just stand by as…!" Angrily, Akira begins but….
"Let's spent our life together Sachiko-chan I love you!" Happily, he confesses to the girl.
"I…I can't do that…huh?! AH!" Alarmed, she soon screams seeing said blade below in the man's handed.
"I made up my mind Sachiko-chan I already decided I'm spending the rest of my life with your panties Sachiko-chan forever…" Firmly, the man declares determined.
"Y-You're really scaring me…" Meekly, Sachiko squeaks slightly.
"I love you Sachiko-chan we'll be together forever Sachiko-chan!" He raises the blade but…
"N-Nooo someone please! I…I…I can't…ah…" Sachiko screams just as Ryūko releases Akira and…
"YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" Snarling, Akira lunges at the man, throwing him down to the ground.
"H-Huh?" Sachiko stares shocked seeing a familiar blonde blur brush by swiftly snatching said knife from the man being beaten black and blue by the angry Akira.
"It's all right you're safe now." Ryūko reassures the shaking Sachiko.
"Don't get in my way Sachiko-chan is MINE!" Mad, the man yells only to cry out as with one fierce final blow, the man goes limp, knocked out.
"Whoa…" Sachiko stares stunned down at the pulp that was the creep.
"You okay?" Akira asks Sachiko.
"I…I'm okay." Shyly, Sachiko bows her head.
"I told you, you play with fire you get burnt." Ryūko reminds Sachiko.
"Wh-Why did you help me?" Meekly, Sachiko bows her head.
"You expect us to turn our backs to ya? You're a kid course we wouldn't have…" Akira scoffs shaking his head at the thought.
"But after all those horrible things I said…" Sachiko furrows her brow by the thought.
"Cause I knew a girl once who hated the world, who hated men, who hated how society treated her and so took it out on others, so thought to get some semblance of control with her life by doing some very very dodgy things." Truthfully, Ryūko reveals stepping forward placing her hand on her shoulder squeezing said shoulder.
"What happened to her?" Sniffling, Sachiko whimpers weakly, a lone tear freely falling.
"She learnt the world wasn't always against her, there were people who had her back and grew up, she learnt not to wallow, not to lash out at those with possibly better childhoods than them…she learnt to appreciate those that had her back." Ryūko wipes the tear away as she then gestures Akira smiling shyly.
"Had her back huh…" Sachiko bows her head at the thought when…
"Sachiko-san!" Mina rushes towards her.
"Mina!" Sachiko stares stunned at the girl.
"I'm sorry I can't do this anymore I'm quitting I'm really sorry." Mina bows to the girl.
"Please let her quit. I'm her boyfriend and don't bully her for quitting your group." Tano joins in.
"I hate to admit it but you were totally right. I never even thought about a girl like Mina being in danger from something I put together. I'm going to disband it right now." Sachiko sighs at Ryūko.
"Oh you are? Really?" Mina perks up.
"Yes really I'm sorry for everything Mina." Sachiko sighs.
"Yes yes Tat cha I don't have to sell my panties anymore!" Merrily, Mina cheers to her boyfriend.
"Awesome Mina thanks for being honest with me!" Tat smiles at his girlfriend.
"…" Silently, Sachiko stares at the happy couple.
"So Sachiko you got a clue what you wanna do after school?" Smirking, Ryūko asks Sachiko.
"…Not really no." Sachiko sighs sadly.
"Then here." Ryūko reveals a business card of sorts.
"What's this?" She raises a brow by the card with stardust on it.
"When you've graduated and have no clue where to go, come to Stardust girls like you are a diamond in the rough." Dubiously, Ryūko winks at Sachiko.
"A…diamond?" Sachiko says surprised.
"Girls like us should stick together don't you think?" Ryūko smirks.
"Oi Ryuko!" Akira furrows his brow at her.
"You…you serious?" Surprised, Sachiko asks clutching the card close to her chest.
"I am if you are." Ryūko responds.
"I'll…I'll consider it." Sachiko bows her head.
"Better than nothing. Just make sure to study hard got it? I don't expect slackers." Sternly, Ryūko warns her.
"Y-Yes!" Sachiko stutters shyly.
"You…you're getting her a job in the yakuza?" Akira hisses harshly at her as the two leave, going off on their own.
"Of course not it's hard enough for me to get in but that doesn't mean she can't be a part of my family or a offshoot of one." Ryūko admits as the two walk off, a girl like her was a diamond in the rough.
"You really think you can get a family…?" Frowning, Akira eyes Ryūko.
"If Kazama's plan goes as it does I'm going to be accepted no matter what." Resolved, Ryūko states the fact firmly.
"Just be careful yeah? It isn't easy…" Akira tries to warn her.
"You think I don't know that?" Tense, Ryūko glares at Akira.
"O-Of course I do I just…I mean why her after all she said…" Shyly, Akira bows his head.
"Reminded me of me a bit you know?" Ryūko cuts Akira off.
"…I could see it. Hateful to the world, starting a ring at that young of an age…" Akira furrows his brow by the thought recalling the shut in he had met as a child, refusing to speak to any of the boys biting at them, hating them…she'd only really speak to Yumi but over time she got better…
"You're not going to let that go are you?" Ryūko sighs slumping her shoulders.
"You started a gambling ring at school!" Smirking, Akira argues.
"Hey it all started at Sunflower if Kashiwagi hadn't given me that hanafuda pack it wouldn't have happened." Ryūko recalls.
"His face when he saw how much money you made of I couldn't tell if he was proud or angry." Akira chuckles coyly at the conflicted expression of Kashiwagi.
"I think it was a mixture of the two Kazama was just proud." Ryūko recalls.
"Until he told you to get back to your studies…" Smirking, Akira throws in.
"Hey it was studying sorta I mean with possibilities and…" Ryūko scratches the back of her head already feeling the headache begin to take place at the thought.
"Urgh don't ruin my brain…" Akira whines holding his head.
"Hey I don't like math as much as you do!" Ryūko playfully shoves the amused Akira as the two continue on their way heading Kiryu's way hoping to check up on him…
"It's so cold, you should hold my hand, so it doesn't freeze." Akira remarks as Ryūko furrows her brow by her friend's words as she and him stand before the door.
"I'm not that cold, I can give you my gloves if you want." Ryūko offers not quite sure what to make of his words while in the hallway.
"…Never mind." Rejected, Akira sighs furrowing his brow at the blonde.
"Yeah their leather I don't really know if that would keep you warm nor if they would fit." Frowning, Ryūko considers.
"Should we try it out?" Akira asks almost hopeful.
"Should we focus on making sure our friend is okay?" Tiredly, Ryūko refuses gesturing to the door.
"Is that a first aid kit?" Akira arches a brow by the bag.
"Akira the guy just beat a whole family I think he's going to need a little something." Seriously, she reminds him.
Fair, fair don't suppose you could look after me eh?" Amused, Akira winks while Ryūko frowns.
"Why are you blinking like that with your eyes?" Ryūko furrows her brow at her friend's eye.
"That was supposed to be a wink!" Akira argues annoyed.
"Riiight. Did you rush into the family meeting and beat up a patriarch?" Ryūko trails off unsure showing said first aid kit to him.
"Well…no." Akira answers.
"Then no." Ryūko responds.
"You're so mean Ryūko." Mockingly, Akira places his hand on his chest coyly.
"And you're a cry-baby." Curtly, Ryūko deadpans.
"Am not!" Angry, Akira glares at her.
"Are too." Ryūko huffs scowling to the side.
"Am not!" Aggrieved, Akira barks back.
"Are-" Annoyed, Ryūko counters coolly while elsewhere…
Quietly, Kiryu sits slouches in his apartment, his brow furrowed as he turs towards the door hearing the familiar childish argument take place before his door making him sigh. Smoke spews out from the cigarette between his fingertips furrowing his brow by the disagreement happening right outside as he eyes the bottles, junk food and such littered about the messy place.
"I can hear you." Tiredly, Kiryu sighs shaking his head at his childhood friend's antics.
"Shit!" Scowling, Akira curses cross.
"You two can come in." Kiryu hollers.
"Heeey buddy how you feeling?" Ryūko rushes in smiling strained at her friend.
"All I've got is beer." Bluntly, Kiryu tells them.
"That's all you ever have." Akira opens the fridge by his side passing one over to Ryūko then takes one of his own.
"Yeah please you'd think we'd expect any different?" Ryūko smirks opening the can.
"Nishiki, Ryūko did Kashiwagi-san say anything else?" Kiryu asks the two.
"Nope not a word." Akira answers.
"You didn't expect some heartfelt speech did ya?" Ryūko remarks.
"Course not." Kiryu smirks slightly at the thought.
"But he started chowing down on his cold noodles like a man possessed after seeing you turn up alive up till then he'd just been sitting there all intense not saying a thing." Akira tells his side of the story.
"Yeah while you lot were waiting I had to work at a bloody cabaret club." Ryūko complains.
"That sounds like a dream." Akira argues.
"It really isn't still Kashiwagi contacted me told me the news of you being alive not that I was surprised of course. Still the guy made me pay for his noodles. And not the cheap crap he normally eats either!" Ryūko tells her side of the story.
"That's so him." Kiryu smirks slightly.
"Heh right?" Akira agrees.
"Say that to my weeping wallet. So come on tell us how you survived!" Ryūko leans in eager to hear the story.
"Alright…" Kiryu bows his head ready to tell his tale.
*What do you think of Nishiki and Ryūko's dynamic?*
