Last time on The Will Of A Giant
"Humor me, what's this dream of yours" The giant said with a face of pity, as he raised up the large tree, ready to end Luffy's life.
"My dream is to be THE KING OF THE PIRATES" Luffy shouted with a smile on his face. As the tree came down upon Luffy's body, the surroundings slowed down to a halt.
Chapter 2:
Then suddenly, the giant got a little dizzy, he quickly stopped his attack before it hit Luffy, "This kid has it, he is the definition of brave, he is just like him, Gol D. Roger" The giant exclaimed in a surprised tone. The giant looked down at Luffy's now unconscious body, "Hmmm, it looks like that was his first time using Conqueror's Haki, from the strength of the blast, I would've thought it was he was experienced at this type of thing"
The giant carried Luffy's body through the forest, by the time he reached his destination, the sun already went down. The giant's destination was a large volcano on the edge of the island, when the giant reached the volcano, he gently placed Luffy's body on the edge of the volcano.
The giant then sat down on the edge of the volcano next to luffy's unconscious body,
"This kid is special. If he's willing, I'll teach him everything I know, he can't expect to achieve that dream without any training". The giant exclaimed with a tired sigh and sat there, observing the beautiful honey colored sunset, as the night started to fade in.
A few hours later - 10:30PM
In the dim of the night, Monkey D. Luffy suddenly rose up from his unconscious state and yelled, "MEATTT!". The Giant immediately woke up and rose up from his now-disturbed nap.
"Kid, I gotchu just relax please, im tryna at least keep these ear-drums of mine intact until im 154." The giant told the rubber man, he started rubbing his tired eyes, as he slowly got up. He started walking to the woods, but suddenly he stopped in the middle of his stride, and looked at Luffy. "What are you waiting for, kid? I'm not your personal hunter, put in some work" the giant said with an annoyed face.
Luffy had a grin shining even in the night, and as he got up, he said "Shishishi, yes Mr. giant", this clearly was not the response the giant wanted, as he flicked Luffy in his face with his pinky finger, this shot luffy deep into the woods.
"My name is Dorok kid, stop calling me Mr. Giant, it's uncomfortable" The giant said as he followed Luffy's flying body into the woods. "It's hunting time!" Dorok barked out laughing, as him and Luffy started fighting nature's creations for the next few hours.
By the time they were done, and had returned to their camp on top of the volcano. The sun was rising, and by the time they cooked and ate their food. It was about 8am, and Luffy said, "Thanks for helping me, but I'm gonna continue my journey!" as Luffy started to get up to leave.
"What do you mean kid, I wanna train you to give you an edge on these paradise kids, aka the pirates of the first half of the grand line. What do you say kid!" Dorok smiled brightly as he already knew Luffy was gonna accept this proposal. Luffy looked him straight in his face for a minute, "So it's a yes?" Dorok nervously exclaimed.
"No." Luffy told the giant man with a deadpan face, as Luffy started walking towards the coast, "Thanks for the food Mr. Giant, but I don't want training, I wouldn't be a real pirate king if I had a head start. It's not fair at all. Adventure is about learning everything on the way, it would be boring if I knew everything, Shishishi!" Luffy exclaims with a chuckle. "See you Dorok, thanks for everything"
Dorok looked upon Luffy with a disappointed expression, but at the end of the day he understood. Luffy wanted a good adventure, and it wasn't his choice to take that experience away from him. All he could do is cheer him on. "LUFFY! I Believe in you, you will be THE PIRATE KING KID!" The 15 meter tall giant's yell could be heard by the whole island, but Luffy especially heard it. He put his finger in the air and walked out of Dorok's sight, and onto the coast of the island.
Luffy set his feet into his small row boat and set off into the vast ocean ahead of him, wondering if his friend Dorok will remember him.
