All Hikigaya Hachiman wanted from the lie that is youth was to finish his high school years drama free and preferably alone. That simple dream becomes a lot harder when he finds out that literal Devils both own and attend the same high school. He wondered what god he pissed off in a previous life to deserve this. 5. Chapter 5

UPDATE:

So, it's been a minute. Sorry to anyone that was hoping for an actual chapter, but this work can be considered abandoned. I didn't like the pacing, and let's be honest the story peaked in the prologue.

The other main issue was the third person POV that I chose and honestly I didn't realise at the time how limiting it is when trying to flesh out and explain a complex character like Hachiman's motivations.

My honest opinion is that the ficis just an overall mess.

Another factor was I felt myself losing all motivation to continue due to writing myself in to a hole plot wise, and the last thing I want to do is just insert 'X' character in to the original plot.

Now that the bad news is out the way, the potential good news is that a rewrite is on the cards.

I'm just not sure whether to scrap the chapters after the prologue and start from there, or just start a fresh story on a clean slate and copy paste chapter 1 then work from there.

Would love to know your thoughts.

This year is the year of consistency (hopefully) but I'm not gonna make promises that have a 70% chance of being empty.

Belated happy New Year, and hope to hear from anyone that still has a slight vested interest in this fic continuing.
