It wasn't what he had in mind, he never meant to hurt her. Sasuke never meant to ruin her special day but it was the only day to save her. After all the wolfs had the area guarded knowing the love Sasuke had for Hinata. He knew she would be devastated and knowing he was behind it was far worse. How could one protect someone they love when they're blind to the fact of the reality of things? Sasuke loved her there was no denying it.

As he watched her stir in her sleep he kept thinking the conversation he had with Naruto a week before the wedding. It went exactly how he expected, there was nothing that Naruto said that changed his mind about kidnapping her. Sasuke never truly smiled, however right now he was. He was certain once he explained the situation she would see the reason he did it. After all he was only trying to protect her.

It was fortunate for him that Hinata lived on the outskirts oh Konoha just like he did, otherwise the kidnapping would've been harder and he was sure he would've started and unnecessary war among his kind. Even tho she was human she wasn't flawed like many were, maybe this is why he fell in love with her. It was almost dusk and Sasuke couldn't help but stare at the golden clouds, ember red sun finally dipping down.

Happiness is not found it is created, and he did believe he was soon. Naruto wasn't going to give up without a fight, Sasuke wasn't blind to the fact.

Flashback

Vibrant blue eyes flash red, however Sasuke wasn't intimidated by this. Naruto didn't deserve her, he was tired of the childish games they've had since elementary. It was one thing that Naruto is upbeat and has a goofy personality, however contrary to what other people thought Naruto wasn't dense. He knew Sasuke liked her long before today, even before two years ago. It was always a game of who gets it first, but not this time. To hell with the treaty, this was insanity. He was not about to play this game anymore.

He never felt like this for anyone, at first he wanted to deny his feelings for bluenette. If true happiness is found should a person pursue that happiness or let go? Even more so to protect a childhood friendship? The answer would always be yes.

"Naruto we are no longer kids" Sasuke was pissed off to say the least, however his face held no emotions. Their friendship was done the moment Naruto decided to pursue Hinata. "This needs to stop, I am in love with her. Call off the wedding"

At first he thought Naruto was going to get tired of Hinata and toss her like he's done so many times in the past. Woman are play things for Naruto. That was until a year passed and he saw an engagement ring on her finger. He had stopped talking to both of them, it had hurt Hinata the most. He saw it in her eyes every time he walked past her in school. It was until today that he decided to break his silence.

"Sasuke" Naruto stood straight, eyes casted down. His fist clenched so hard he was sure they were bleeding. He was sure the trembling was very visible, yet he didn't care. Crazy wasn't it? Their friendship was about to come to and end over a female he held close to his heart. He smiled bitterly at the realization of things. Finally controlling his anger he looked at Sasuke straight in the eyes.

"You lost" Naruto smirked, he stuffed his hands in the pockets of his black sweater. "I knew how you felt about her since she came to our school, it was your own fault for not pursuing her sooner."

Naruto looked towards the sky, there was no cloud in sight. Clear something he envied as his mind was a cluster due to the situation at hand. He looked back at Sasuke knowing this was the end of a very long childhood friendship. He genuinely smiled. There was nothing he could do to make Sasuke realize that he loved her too. Sure he probably not in love with her as much as Sasuke, but it was love regardless.

" Sure at first it was a game, since you bedded Sakura and you knew how I felt about her. But I gotta tell ya, the more I hanged out with Hinata the more I started falling for her." He paused choosing his next words carefully. He knew Sasuke was short tempered, but then again so was he. Naruto walked closer to Sasuke to get his point across, both males being the same heigh and both emitting the same dark aura was right down scary.

"Im not giving her up because you couldn't speak up." Naruto with his mind made up was about to leave when something stopped him cold in his tracks. The way Sasuke eyes flashed red made his his blood run cold. His childhood friend was fucking vampire! How could he be blind to the fact?! Just when Naruto was about to launch towards Sasuke, Kiba was right in front of Naruto holding the fist aiming towards Sasuke face.

"Naruto! This isn't the time! We're still in school!" Kiba spoke through gritted teeth, he wasn't stupid he clearly saw what Naruto saw.

As soon as those words came out of his mouth Sasori was right next to Sasuke. The reputation Sasori had was clearly known through out the school. Hell people still wondered how he was expelled after almost beating up students half dead. He was also known as vampire among the wolfs.

"YOU BASTARD! This whole fucking time you've been one of them?!" Naruto yelled not caring if other students stopped to look at the scene. Sadness evident in his voice. When did this happen? Sasuke had been human as far as he knew. He grew up with him! Naruto unintentionally gave an animalistic grow.

"Naruto!"

This was bad, Kiba knew it was. There was so no one around but him to control Naruto, he couldn't do it. He only hoped Sasuke wouldn't react, shit would get out of hand.

Sasuke smirked, he had hoped his anger wouldn't get the best of him. But he didn't care anymore. He knew Madara would give him shit for this later. But none of it mattered right now, he tried to peacefully talk to the blond idiot in front of him. However nothing goes as planned, it was futile he knew it. He had other plans that wouldn't fail. He just wanted the truth from Naruto. He was right in the end, it was all a game.

No words were needed after this. He turned to Sasori who was still watching Naruto in disgust. He shrugged and kept walking out of campus. If Sasori wanted to fight them so be it, two on one seemed like a good fair fight when up against Sasori.

Flashback ends

Sasuke smirked remembering seeing Kiba and Naruto with bruised on their face. Naruto seemed to had held his on as well. It was the first time Sasori had a broken rib. His thought abruptly stopped when he seen Hinata suddenly jolt out of bed. She looked completely scared and afraid.

"Hinata" Sasuke never speaks to anyone with tenderness, however with her he would. As if speaking to her in any other way would be wrong.

Hinata's head snaps to the right, her eyes held so many emotions. Confusion being the biggest one of them all, she didn't understand that she was doing here.

Slowly licking her dehydrated lips she spoke very slowly, fearing her voice will fail her.

"Sasuke, why am I here?"
