When I woke up, I realized that I'm in a lair of some kind. I inhaled and exhaled while I had a look around. I then said to myself, "This is strange, I wonder where I am." I gasped when I saw my arm bandaged.

I felt my forehead and realized that my head is also bandaged. I groaned while I hold my hand on my head. How did this happen? I have to know somehow. Then I got my eyes wide. My stuff is next to me. How did they get there in the first place? I thought I lost them.

Then I got my eyes even wider. I saw four mutants. Mutant turtles. They look like ninja turtles though. Then the turtle with the orange mask walked up to me and said hi. I got grossed out and said, "You're creepy." Then I kicked his legs to make him fall. I started to panic and said to myself, "This is the weirdest thing I have seen."

I felt my heart beating faster and my nerves are raving up the speed. I took a few deep breaths while the turtle with the blue mask said, "Hey, you don't need to be afraid of us." The turtle with the purple mask added, "He's right, we just saved your life and gathered your things." I got confused.

I then asked, "Just what are you? You look like turtles to me. Haven't you had something we call rabid shots?" The turtle with the purple mask giggled and said, "It's going to be alright Emily, you're among good guys and not bad guys."

I got confused and asked, "What? Among the good guys and not bad guys?" I didn't understand. The turtle with the blue mask said, "It's alright, we won't hurt you at all." I didn't get what is going on. I then asked, "What do you mean that I'm among the good guys and not bad guys? Also how did you know my name?"

I didn't get my questions answered and I had my eyes wide when I saw a mutant rat. The rat then told me, "Then perhaps you are ready to answer some questions." I nodded slowly and took a few deep breaths to calm down.

I can't believe that this is really happening. I am face to face with mutant turtles and a mutant rat. I then answered their questions they asked me. They felt sorry for me when I told them all about me. Then I learned about the turtles.

Their mentor who is named Splinter said that together the turtles are… the turtles high three each other and said, "Turtles forever." Then I learned their names, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo.

They have the same names as the Italian painters. I even learned the mutant rat is named Splinter. I can't believe this. Leonardo then said, "There is nothing left for you back with your uncle, everything is with us." I thought of this over. He does have a good point.

There is nothing left with my uncle now. I am never going back to him, he deserves to be punished. After all he has done to me. That's true. I'm never going back.
