By the time the cab pulls up in front of Yuuri and Victor's apartment building, Yuri is more than ready to collapse into bed. It's been a long weekend away, and even though he had a good time hanging out with Otabek at the competition, he's more than ready to be back home in his own room. Or the room he's taken over in Yuuri and Victor's apartment. Same difference, really.

It's one of the first times in a while he's traveled to a competition without those two tagging along—not that he missed them, or anything, definitely not—so Yuri finds himself hoping that they're already asleep as he waits for the elevator. Despite them having watched the event both live on TV and in the videos that Mila had taken of his performances, he's sure that he'll be peppered with endless questions about how things had gone if they're still awake. Although it's inevitable, he's hoping he can put the cheerful interrogation until after he's gotten some sleep, instead of right when he gets home.

After stepping out of the elevator and making his way down the hallway, Yuri doesn't even bother to knock when he reaches the door to the apartment, just unlocks the door and barges in. In hindsight, this might have been a mistake. After making his way into the living room and allowing his eyes to adjust to the dim lighting, he stops dead in his tracks when he realizes what he's seeing.

For a moment, there's a shocked silence as all three of the occupants of the apartment stare at each other. Apparently, that's too long for Yuri, who immediately flees upon finding that he can move once more. "My eyes! MY EYES!"

It turns out that Victor and Yuuri had decided to take advantage of his absence while he was at the competition and indulge in some "alone time," and unfortunately for Yuri, had lost track of time while in the heat of the moment. Yuri deciding not to knock meant that they had no warning that they were suddenly not alone for their alone time anymore. Hence why Yuri had stumbled across the scene that he had.

In reality, the teenager hadn't seen anything too scandalous, despite his theatrics—just a bit of shirtless making out, really—but it was more than enough to send him fleeing to his room, wailing about his scarred innocence. Truly an embarrassing moment for all three of them—and one that Yuri would complain heartily about for ages.

Otabek, naturally, gets an earful about what is now being called "The Incident" the next time that he and Yuri chat. "I'm telling you, Otabek, I'm scarred for life. I can't ever unsee what I saw!"

"That's rough, Yuri."

From then on Yuri makes a point to make his presence very known any time he enters the apartment.
