Barry Allen AKA the Flash wasn't the only one who was affected by the particle accelerator. He and Star Labs find another speedster who has similar powers to Barry, yet he's a bit different. Watch as the Scarlet Speedster joins the Crimson Speedster possibly join forces and protect Central City. Naruto x Linda x ?

12. We just opened a whole new can of weird

Here is Chapter 12 of the Crimson Speedster. Eobard Thawne is gone along with the singularity above Central City but in the process Naruto and Ronnie were knocked somewhere familiar yet strange. Time to go native and find out what they can and face some new foes who wear some familiar faces. Enjoy!

Everything I grew up believing in was a lie. My parent's work, Dr. Wells, all of it was not at all what I thought to be. The day I was struck by lightning, it restarted my life and I protected my city with the help of my friends and partner, The Flash. Over the course of a year, I learned the truth about my parents and their work that got them killed. I avenged their death, but the mastermind is still out there. Unfortunately, things got even more complicated as Dr. Wells turned out to be the Reverse Flash, an evil Speedster from the future who came back in time to exact revenge against Barry but in the process, the people he hated ended up being his ultimate lifeline home. In his final act, Central City was nearly destroyed and, in an effort, to save it, my friend and I were thrown into an alternate world. With no way back now, I will use my speed to help the people of Earth-2 until I find a way home. My name is Impulse, and this is my story.

Central City?

Whoever said that exploring new lands is an adventure…is an idiot. All those great explorers that history glorifies like Marco Polo, Amerigo Vespucci, Ferdinand Magellan, Christopher Columbus and Ser Walter Raleigh may be great in certain points of view for what they explored and advanced history, but this circumstance is kind of different. That circumstance Naruto and Ronnie found themselves is closing a world-ending singularity but ended up in a Central City that they weren't familiar with. So, what do you do when you end up in a strange place with no idea how to get home?"

You hide.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Ronnie asked Naruto as he looked around the warehouse, they were in. After they arrived in the weird Central City, Naruto super sped them to someplace they could think and strategize and decided to take a page out of the villain's playbook and found an old warehouse.

"Do you have a better one?" Naruto asked back as he super sped around the warehouse, cleaning it up as best as he could. He finished cleaning and stopped next to Ronnie as he clapped his hands free of dirt. "The first rule of landing in a foreign city with no idea where you are? You hunker down until you can figure out what the hell happened and where you are."

"And we need to do that in an old warehouse?" Ronnie wondered as he sat down in an old chair.

"Dude, this place may be called Central City, but this is the not the city we know. For one thing, it looks like it belongs in another time and who knows what else has happened. Besides, I'm sure people in this city saw that explosion in the sky and us falling so it's best we lay low until we know for sure what's going on and that's best done where no one can eavesdrop on us." Naruto gestured the warehouse they were in. "No one's around."

"All right, so what's the plan now?" Ronnie asked.

"Well, first things first we try to find out where we are. And I know the first person to ask." Naruto took out his phone and pressed a button to project Gideon's holographic face. "Hey, Gideon. I don't suppose you happen to know where Ronnie and I ended up."

"You and Mr. Raymond have arrived in Central City on Earth-2." Gideon told them.

"Earth-2?" Ronnie didn't know what that meant.

"Gideon, what do you mean earth-2?" Naruto asked.

"The Singularity that was in orbit above Central City was not just a black hole but also a portal of trans-dimensional energy that opened up a pathway from your earth to this one. Closing the singularity saved both worlds but the explosion knocked you and Mr. Raymond through one side while knocking Mr. Allen and Professor Stein through the other."

"So, Barry and the professor are back home. Ok, that's good news. They're safe and so are Caitlin and the others." Ronnie said.

"Trans-dimensional energy and a portal to another earth. So, we're living proof of String Theory and the Multiverse theory. Awesome!" Naruto shouted only to see the look he was getting from Ronnie. "Um, [clears throat] …I mean it would be given different circumstances."

"Multiverse theory?" Ronnie was confused now. He was smart but he was an engineer, not a physicist.

"The multiverse theory essentially states that the world we came from can't be the only one in existence. There exist thousands if not millions or billions of other earths out there in parallel planes of existence that are completed isolated from one another. For years, scientists have been trying to prove String Theory and the idea of the multiverse but didn't think it was possible." Naruto commented.

"It is actually quite possible. You yourself dedicated many years of exploring the multiverse and categorizing it as best as possible. This is how I know you arrived on Earth-2." Gideon projected a holographic circular map of various interconnected earths each labeled with a number. "This is your map of the multiverse that you created in the future with the aid of some friends. At the moment of its creation, you organized and categorized 52 known earths in the multiverse but estimated there are likely more than a billion others in existence yet to be discovered."

"Whoa, this is heavy." Naruto said, quoting Doc Brown. "And I thought Time Travel was complicated enough."

"Ok, so we know where we are and how we got here. So, can we get back?" Ronnie asked.

"That is unknown at the moment, Mr. Raymond. The portal that brought you here is closed and the means to creating another one is complicated and out of your hands at the moment. None of you possess any powers that could open another portal and Naruto is not yet fast enough to create a breach himself."

"Wait, speedsters can travel through the multiverse?"

"If a speedster has enough speed, they are able to accelerate fast enough to vibrate your entire being at a different vibrational trans-dimensional frequency and open up a breach to another earth. But doing so now is impossible as you are not fast enough, and the process would kill you."

"Ok. So much for the easy way home. There's nothing else we can do?" Ronnie asked.

"I'm afraid not. Dimensional travel is extremely complicated for a reason."

"And I imagine creating another singularity would be stupid and might not even take us back to our earth." Naruto rubbed his forehead in exhaustion as this was going to be the problem of the century to solve.

"So, what do we do?"

"I don't know, Ronnie but we'll figure this out." Naruto assured him.

"Do you really believe that?" Ronnie asked and got a nod in response.

"I have to." He told him. "We've done some pretty incredible things the last year. Some things that many would call impossible, but we've done it. There's to answer to all of this so maybe we can find it."

"Right. Ok." Ronnie took a deep breath as he traced his thumb over the silver nut and bolt ring on his finger. "Now what do we do?"

"Now…we figure everything we can about where we are. Maybe there's someone here who could help us." Naruto then looked at what he and Ronnie were wearing, more so him. He was still wearing his Impulse suit. "First things first, we need to blend in."

A silver and red blur of crimson and white lightning raced out of the warehouse and through the city, moving past old-fashioned cars from the 40's and 50's. Guess this earth never really moved past the aesthetics of post-WW2 America. He whooshed into a department store, causing the spinning doors to spin around like a tornado went through and gusts of wind to hit people he passed. The blur raced through the clothing section and grabbed various clothing items before racing out of the store and back through the city.

"So, this is what people wear on this earth?" Ronnie asked as he and Naruto were walking down the street in their new clothes. They were wearing suits that belonged in the catalogue of a magazine from the 40s but it's what they had to wear to blend in. Ronnie was wearing a black suit and pants combo with a white button-up while Naruto was wearing the same thing but with a dark red shirt and he had a fedora on his head.

"Hey, we need to blend in, and this is what people wear. Clothing right out of the 40s." Naruto told him.

"Why the hat?" Ronnie questioned.

"It fits and besides, I look good." Naruto remarked as they walked down the street, taking in their new environment for the first time and that's when they noticed the odd looks pointed in their direction, mainly that of fear. "Is it just me or are people afraid of us?"

"Maybe that's the reason." Ronnie pointed to a vertically standing TV screen that was showing a news broadcast that had Ronnie's picture on it with the words wanted dead or alive on it.

"Oh…that would do it." Naruto commented as the two got closer.

"Another statement from Mayor Snart on the mysterious blue phenomenon that occurred over our city that the situation is under control and the CCPD report no incidents or damage done to our city. Still, citizens are concerned as our city is still being plagued by attacks from Zoom and his metahumans including Deathstorm, Killer Frost, and Reverb with no word or appearance of the Flash since the mysterious activity in the sky." The news then showed Ronnie's photo along with a white haired, pale-skinned Caitlin wearing a blue leather jacket and a Cisco wearing goggles and leather jacket with his hair done up in a bun. "The CCPD have active warrants on these dangerous metas and are urging citizens to avoid contact with them at all costs and to call the CCPD."

"That complicates things." Naruto muttered when he saw the looks, they were getting. "Let's go."

They quickly ducked into an alley where Naruto super sped them away and outside of their destination. "Well, this officially sucks. I'm a wanted metahuman on this earth. How is that possible? And how can Caitlin and Cisco be criminals as well?" Ronnie asked out loud.

"Hang on." Naruto took off his hat and put it on Ronnie's head before taking a pair of sunglasses out of his pocket and putting them on. "There, that's better. And we're on another earth, dude. Who knows what else is different? Clearly, this earth has a STAR lab which means that something happened to create metahumans giving you, Caitlin, and Cisco powers and clearly you guys decided to work for this Zoom guy, whoever he is. There are billions of other earths out there with other versions of you, Caitlin, and Cisco, and probably me. But just remember, you're you. Ronnie Raymond, husband of Caitlin Snow. Our Caitlin is not a metahuman or a criminal and you're Firestorm which is a much better name then Deathstorm."

"Right, right." Ronnie took a deep breath before looking at the building they arrived at. "Kind of an odd place you wanted to stop at first."

"Dude, we need information and what better place to get that than the library." Naruto gestured to the large library that looked like a building on capitol hill. "Let's go."

They walked in and found it mostly empty besides the librarians and clerks working there along with some students. Naruto and Ronnie got an isolated table in the corner and began getting all the books they could to learn as much as they could including city logs and information. Naruto even managed to find a computer terminal and while the entire interface was different than he was used to, he got accustomed to it quickly and had Gideon implant a bug to begin hacking into every computer system in the city. Soon, Gideon would be able to access everything they could need.

A few hours later…

Naruto was still sitting at the table in the library speed reading through the latest books in the science section. This earth was amazing, and he wasn't ashamed to admit it but more advanced than his earth. They solved a lot of the scientific theories that his earth was still dealing with, so his inner science nerd was happy now. Ronnie returned from the bathroom and saw Naruto still sitting at the table reading through everything.

"You're still reading through all this?"

"Yeah. This earth may be different, but they are clearly smarter than us. Their education system must be amazing." Naruto commented. "But I think we have enough on everything now. Gideon's fully patched in most of the city's computer systems including the ones at the CCPD. The only ones she couldn't access are at STAR Labs."

"Ah, I was wondering when we were going to get to that. So, who is running STAR labs?"

"This world's Harrison Wells." Naruto went over to the computer to show Ronnie a picture of Earth-2 Dr. Wells with his deceased wife Tess Morgan and his daughter Jessica Jesse Wells. "It's pretty much the same as back on our earth except his body wasn't taken over by the Reverse-Flash because he doesn't exist on this earth. At least I think so."

"You think STAR labs created the metahumans like on our earth?"

"Yup. STAR labs does have a Particle Accelerator online and just a few days after it was first turned on did the first metahuman sightings start to appear, so we have that in common. And with Gideon hacking into the CCPD, she managed to get us some information on whoever this Zoom is." Naruto pressed a few buttons on the screen to bring up the CCPD's information on Zoom, but they didn't have a lot. Just a blurred image of a black blob and sparks of blue lightning. "But there's not a lot there. Best I can surmise is that he's a speedster whose gone on a killing spree that would make him right at home with Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Jack the Ripper."

"A speedster serial killer. Great." Ronnie said sarcastically. "So, STAR labs is our best bet."

"To figuring out a way to get home? Definitely. No other place on earth could help us without locking us up in a prison for experiments. The only issue would be getting this Harrison Wells to help us."

"If we show up saying we're from another earth, then he'll think we're crazy. And I don't exactly have a trusting face." Ronnie pointed out when he thought of something. "What about you? I mean, your Earth-2 version. Is he at STAR labs too?"

"I thought that at first, but I can't seem to find a record for a Naruto yet." Naruto told him as Gideon brought up something in the city records."

"Maybe that's the reason." Ronnie pointed to the file, so Naruto opened it and he wasn't quite sure how to react.

"Whoa…I…I definitely was not expecting this." Naruto said to himself.

Central City Cemetery

Naruto and Ronnie arrived at the Central City Cemetery where they found the gravestone of this earth's Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze.

"This is so weird. Staring at your own gravestone even though it's not yours." Naruto said out loud.

"Hey, you all right?" Ronnie asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Naruto assured him. "It's just weird. I'm wondering how different our lives were and how things here seem so flipped around and opposite. The date I died is the date my parents died on my earth. Guess I wasn't the one to walk away from the car accident."

Ronnie gave him a comforting hand on the shoulder as they looked at the gravestone when he heard a car pull up. "Someone's coming."

They quickly walked away and hid behind the walls of a nearby crypt to see who arrived and to Naruto's shock he saw his parents doppelgangers arriving with a fresh bouquet of flowers. But that wasn't the shocking part. What was really shocking is who was with them. It was a little red-haired girl, probably about 12 years old and holding onto his mother's hand.

"Oh my god…" Naruto was honestly not sure how to react, but those three words pretty much summed up how he was feeling. "I think that's my little sister?"

"You have a sister?"

"Here I do." Naruto said as he saw his parents and his sister put down the bouquet at his grave.

"Those are some beautiful flowers, Mito." Kushina said to her daughter as she knelt and kissed her on the head. "They look perfect."

"You think so? Do you think he'd like them?" She asked as Minato joined his wife and they both hugged their daughter.

"We know so, honey." Minato kissed her head. "Your brother loved you more than anything and I'm sure he would have loved this."

"I miss him." Mito said as Kushina and Minato held their daughter close.

"So, do we." Kushina told her, staring at the gravestone of her son. "But he loved you so much and if he could see you now, he'd be just as proud of you as we are."

Naruto and Ronnie watched the exchange from a distance. They knew things would be different on this Earth, but they were so not prepared.

After exploring Central City of Earth-2 and getting all the information they could, they returned to the warehouse where Naruto got to work remodeling it to make it more livable and get some food which he borrowed from some stores. He bought some beds, more clothes, some computers, and plenty of food. At the moment, he was sitting at a table with some tools to make some adjustments to a pair of STAR labs smart watches.

"Why are you doing this again?" Ronnie wondered.

"Since we're going to be stuck here a while, it's best if we keep a low profile. I read up that STAR labs released new updated smart watches that allow the user to identify metahumans." Naruto took one of the watches and held it towards Ronnie and it began beeping. "So, right now I'm fixing these two watches so that they'll relay a signal to other devices and essentially mask our metahuman signature so we can pass undetected. At the very least, it'll make hiding easier."

"True but it's not like I can just walk down the street to get us groceries and considering how much you eat, that's going to be a daily occurrence." Ronnie pointed out.

"Very true which is why I stole all that stuff over there." Naruto pointed to the table where a bunch of chemical food stuff was placed. "I'm going to make more of those speedster energy bars Cisco made but I'll improve the formula, so they'll last me longer. It should help me with my metabolism here. And then I'll get to work on the security of this place and make sure no one knows we're here."

"Uh huh. Look, Naruto not to doubt how smart you are but do you think you can really do all this? I mean, no offense but this is a lot for one person not to mention your dealing with another earth's technology which as you said is way more advanced than ours so it's not going to be—"

"Done." Naruto held the watch out to him in shock. "You're right it took a few seconds longer to figure it out but it's not that complicated."

"How did you do that so fast?" Ronnie asked as he put the watch on his wrist.

"Super genius, remember? And the layout and circuitry for these watches are similar to the ones I had plans to release back on our earth." Naruto put his watch on his wrist. "On to the next thing."

"Naruto, stop for one second." Ronnie told him. "Look, I appreciate everything you're doing to keep us safe but is there something going on? You haven't said much since we got back from the cemetery."

"I'm fine, Ronnie. Believe me. I'm just trying to keep busy. And I'm trying to figure out our next move. Going to STAR labs just got a whole lot more complicated. It's not like we can just walk right through the front door." Naruto explained. "And even if we did, I'm pretty sure my face would give my parents a heart attack seeing as how I'm dead. How exactly are they going to handle that?"

"And I get it Naruto, but we have to go eventually." Ronnie pointed out.

"I know and I'm stalling that for as long as I can. Meeting my parents again would be great under different circumstances but I promise we will go to STAR labs to get their help to get home. But at the moment, I'd rather make sure we're set here so we have no more surprises." Naruto said when the computers began beeping. "God, me and my big mouth."

"What's that?" Ronnie rushed over to see various police feeds and satellite information pop up.

"I tapped into the CCPD feeds and nearby satellites as a precaution in case anything came our way." Naruto typed on the computer and the alert was a metahuman attack downtown. "A metahuman attack downtown."

"Just like our earth." Ronnie commented.

"Hang on, let me tap into the traffic cameras and get a picture." Naruto brought up some camera footage, showing the police facing against a metahuman wearing a helmet and a brown armor vest. He was shrugging off bullets and everything the police could throw at him before growing in size to the point where he was over thirty feet tall. "Whoa…definitely didn't have a metahuman like him on our earth."

"So, this is what Caitlin and you guys did on a regular basis?" Ronnie asked.

"More or less." Naruto replied when he saw the meta throw a parked car at the officers. "Dammit."

"Naruto, are you going?"

"Should I? I mean, we need to keep a low profile but then again those officers are dead without backup." Naruto paced back and forth as he thought it over. Rationally, keeping a low profile and avoid being seen in the city as Impulse made sense but then again, those people needed help. "Son of a bitch."

Ronnie looked at the camera feed and saw the size shifting meta throw a burning car at a building when he felt a whoosh of air and Naruto was gone along with his suit. "Guess that answers that question.

Naruto raced through the city as fast as he could and needed to end this without stopping or being seen. He arrived at the attack with seconds to spare and quickly super sped everyone out of the building and path of the thrown burning car, so no one was injured. After saving them, he began racing around the size changing meta as fast as he could. The large meta swiped and kicked at the speeding blur but wasn't able to hit anything.

The police watched the speeding blur race around Atom Smasher, and many thought it was the Flash, but the different color of lightning and no metal glint of a helmet meant it was someone else. The speedster eventually turned the small tornado into a vacuum and Atom Smasher began to have trouble breathing. He grabbed at his throat as his mask deactivated and tried to gasp for air but there was none and soon passed out along with returning to regular size. Once he passed out, the speeding blur tied up Atom Smasher to a pole before leaving in a hurry. Nearby civilians were confused as well as the police who quickly took Atom Smasher into custody.

Ronnie felt another whoosh from behind and saw Naruto remove his mask and take his goggles off. "So much for keeping a low profile but nice save."

"Thanks, and yeah I hate myself too for doing that but at least no one's dead and I didn't stop long enough for anyone to get a clear picture. All they saw was a blur so that leaves us in the clear for now." Naruto said.

If only he knew how wrong he was as two groups of people now had his attention.

One of these groups was at STAR labs and one person in particular was Dr. Harrison Wells, CEO. He was in his office, watching the news of the recent capture of Atom Smasher by a new speedster. One who had white and crimson lightning and was very, very fast. The door to his office opened and in walked Minato and Kushina, his heads of engineering and biology departments, respectively.

"I take it both of you saw the news. It would appear we have a new speedster in Central City." Dr. Wells said.

"One who is apparently so fast that he captured Atom Smasher not by brute force but by creating a vacuum effect with his speed to render him unconscious. Something the Flash was never able to do." Kushina commented as she looked over his tablet at the data she was compiling on this new speedster. "Heh, he's fast."

"Very fast. Not even the high-speed cameras on the CCPD cars were able to get a clear image." Minato showed them a still on his tablet that showed the white and crimson lightning trail and a blurry image of a silver and red suited figure. "From what I was able to calculate, this speedster is at least capable of going Mach 2, if not faster."

"That's faster than the Flash." Wells said as Minato smiled.

"He could be the speedster that is fast enough to take down Zoom." Minato said, excited.

"Calm down, Minato. As much as I would love to see Zoom stopped, let's not get our hopes up." Wells cautioned his best friend.

"Harrison, Zoom has been terrorizing our city for the past two years. We're lucky he's never bothered us but everything we've tried to do to stop him has failed. This speedster might be able to do it and lucky for us, he doesn't have the Flash's ego." Kushina pointed out.

"Let's just hope this speedster survives long enough to even face Zoom. Anything on the black hole that opened up over the city?" Wells asked and they both shook their heads.

"It appeared and disappeared before our instruments were able to gather any data. But we can confirm that nothing bad leaked out and the city is safe." Kushina replied.

"Keep me updated." Wells told them and they both nodded before leaving.

Elsewhere in the city in an abandoned warehouse that acted as one of the many hubs for the city's evil metahumans as hiding places, a call was put out to certain metas for a meeting. Waiting there were evil duo and terrorizing metahumans Deathstorm and Killer Frost, the Earth-2 doublegangers of Ronnie Raymond and Caitlin Snow. Deathstorm was wearing a black leather uniform with a Quantum Splicer attached over his chest. Killer Frost was pale skinned, blue eyed and lipped and white hair with her black and blue leather outfit matching her cold personality.

"How long is this meeting going to take?" Killer Frost wondered.

"Why? You've got someplace to be?" Deathstorm asked and got a sly smirk in response.

"Well, I was thinking of taking care of those idiots who are encroaching on the waterfront." She told him.

"Sounds like fun." Deathstorm smirked when they heard some footsteps and in walked Cisco Ramon's Earth-2 Doppelganger, Reverb. Dressed in his black leather jacket, his special goggles and his hair tied up in a bun, he was a no-nonsense criminal and a far cry from the fun-loving tech at STAR labs.

"If I didn't know any better…it almost sounds like you two are trying to poach the waterfront territory." Reverb said. "You know the waterfront is shared by all of us. You don't want to upset Zoom."

"Relax, Reverb. We know that. We just want to have some fun." Frost told him when a whoosh of air and flicker of blue arrived in the warehouse. Said flicker of blue was the spark of blue lightning from a black clad speedster with a full mask that covered his entire face. The Speedster was tall with every aspect of his suit colored black, the mask has small slits near the mouth area that resembled a demented smile and his gloves were adorned with sharp claws for extra terror and killing potential. This was the Earth-2 terror, Zoom.

"Quiet." Zoom told them and everyone in the warehouse shut up.

"Sorry." They all bowed their heads in fear.

"What do you need, Zoom?" Reverb asked as the black speedster looked at his underlings.

"A new speedster has arrived in Central City. Someone fast. He stopped Atom Smasher." Zoom told them. "Send out your best to track him down and bring him in alive."

"We will." Deathstorm told him only for Zoom to whoosh in front of his face.

"Alive and unharmed. If he's hurt or dead…you'll join him." Zoom warned them before speeding away.

Line Break xxxxx

The next day in Central City, word and news was already being spread about the rescue of police and civilians along with the capture of Atom Smasher. The CCPD hadn't made an official comment and while many were quick to speculate it was the Flash, those thoughts were quickly disproved. There was no lens flare that signified the glare of the silver kettle helmet, the silver and black blur wasn't consistent with the Flash's outfit and if that wasn't obvious enough then the lightning color was a dead giveaway. The Flash hadn't been seen in Central City the past few days so many were wondering who this new speedster was and if he could stop Zoom.

The city had been quiet after Atom Smasher's arrest, but the police were on high alert. They figured that it wouldn't be long before another metahuman or Zoom tried something. They weren't the only one as Ronnie was keeping himself busy at their new hideout, which was now completely refurbished for him and Naruto to live their comfortably along with a security system to keep them safe. Ronnie was at the computer station doing some general research on their new home and the possible metahuman threats they would be facing. And they learned a lot. Turns out this earth's Atlantis of legend isn't really a legend. It's a popular tourist destination like Hawaii or the Bahamas. So weird.

"Hey, Naruto? How's it going out in the city?" Ronnie asked, talking out loud and communicating via an earpiece that connected to the Earth-2 smartwatch he was wearing. It connected to Naruto's smartwatch and earpiece.

"Uh…smooth so far but I finally found the Flash." Naruto replied.

"Oh, that's good then. Maybe Barry can help us now." Ronnie suggested.

"Yeah, except it's not Barry."

In the city, Naruto was standing in a park outside of a church in front of a bronze statue of Earth-2's Flash. The suit was different then his or Barry's and seemed to be inspired by a military uniform but did have a lightning bolt on the chest. The statue was of the Flash's arms crossed and to top it off was a helmet with wingtips on his head, but the odd thing was no mask. And not even that, but the plague underneath made things even weirder. It read: The Hero of Central City. Jay Garrick—The Flash.

"Then who is it?" Ronnie asked.

"Jay Garrick but here's the weird part. They know who he is? His identity clearly isn't a secret and that's just stupid. It's basic superhero survival 101, you keep your identity a secret so the bad guys can't find you. I'm surprised that Zoom didn't kill him. Ronnie, can you look up Jay Garrick?" Naruto asked.

"Sure, one second." Ronnie did a quick search and managed to bring up a city file. "Uh, Jay Garrick. Physicist and chemist here in Central City. Ran a small independent lab named Acceleration labs. Born and raised in Central City but there's not a lot here."

"This is weird. If Zoom really is as fast as people say he is, then why would the Flash let his identity be known to everyone. It just doesn't make sense." Naruto said to himself before taking out his phone and putting it to his ear to talk to Gideon. He didn't need Gideon's holographic face to appear and freak people out. "Gideon, do you have any kind of record for a Jay Garrick in your files?"

"I do. Jay Garrick, otherwise known as the Flash, is a veteran speedster of the Multiverse. Resident of Earth-3, he has often assisted you and Barry in training and in dealing with threats of a multiversal level. You and Barry often called him the wise elder of Flash family due to his years of experience and time with the speed force." Gideon explained and brought up a photo of Jay and he looked exactly like Barry's dad.

"Whoa, what's with the family resemblance?" He asked.

"Jay Garrick is the Earth-3 doppelganger of Henry Allen, Barry's father."

"Gideon, do you have any kind of record of a Jay Garrick on Earth-2?"

"Negative. No record of a Jay Garrick of Earth-2."

"Ok, what about the Flash of Earth-2?"

"Negative. Earth-2 does not have a Flash. Its resident speedster is Jesse Quick." Gideon showed him the photo of a female red clad speedster with a domino mask. "I have no record of a Flash of Earth-2."

"Is it possible that your records are incomplete or damaged? I mean, I'm looking at a statue for a Flash of this earth." Naruto told her.

"That's highly unlikely. My records are complete and foolproof but perhaps the reason for that would be the circumstances that led you to find me this early in your career and the general changes to the timeline." Gideon postulated and Naruto understood what she meant and why things might be different.

"Right, because you came from a future that was different from the present we were in because of Thawne's time traveling so you're from an alternate timeline that's slowly merging with ours…oh, I think I have a headache now." Naruto rubbed his forehead. Even with a super brain, this was all confusing. "Do you have an identity for Zoom?"

"Negative. No identify for Zoom."

"Figures. Thanks anyway, Gideon." Naruto put her away and looked at the Flash statue. Things weren't adding up with any of this. He continued his trek into the city to get some stuff before he would head back to the warehouse except things got a little more complicated.

He walked out of a store with a bunch of bags in his hands when he saw his mom's earth-2 doppelganger and sister walking down the street at him. He quickly turned around and speed walked around a corner, unaware that his mother caught a glimpse of him and froze in shock.

"Mom?" Mito shook her mother's hand which brought her back. "Mom, are you ok?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry, Mito. Come on. Let's go." Kushina led her daughter down the street to get some food when her smartwatch began beeping. "Oh no."

A sewer grate on the street exploded and a huge torrent of sand poured out from the sewers, causing cars to crash to a stop and people to run in fear. Kushina picked up Mito and ran as the sand solidified and pooled together until it revealed to be a human. This was the Earth-2 Metahuman known as Sand Demon. Nearby SCPD cops pulled out their guns and aimed them at the metahuman only for a green blast of radioactive energy to melt their guns and then knock them back. Another metahuman stepped out into the street, wearing jeans and leather jacket but the most noticeable thing about his appearance was the fact that his head wasn't exactly a head. It was burning with a green flame and all that could be seen was a human skull. Earth-2 metahuman known as Atomic Skull. He and Sand Demon were two of the fiercest metahumans in Central City and followers of Zoom.

"Greeting, Central City!" Sand Demon shouted. "Normally, terrorizing you would be just as enjoyable as it normally would be but instead, we have something special planned for all of you."

Sand Demon held out his arm, turning it into sand and elongated it to a nearby car which he picked up and threw down the street. The civilians ran in terror as more SCPD cars arrived on the scene. Atomic Skull opened his mouth and fired a few blasts of atomic energy that blasted the cars, causing them to swerve to a stop or crash. A few officers got out and fired some bullets at them, but Sand Demon just raised a shield to protect him and Atomic Skull. Skull then fired a few more energy blasts that melted their guns.

"The SCPD aren't fun to mess with anymore! We want a challenge!" Sand Demon shouted.

"We want the new speedster who showed up in Central City! He better show up or it's going to get really nasty here!" Atomic Skull fired another blast to burn a cop alive only for the cop to get whisked away to safety. Soon, the other cops were moved out of harm's way by a speeding blur. "Finally. Something interesting!"

Atomic Skull began firing green bolts of radioactive energy at the speedster but kept missing. The speedster raced around the two evil metahumans in a zigzag and erratic running pattern so he couldn't be pinned down. As he raced around the metahumans, he also whisked away nearby civilians and moved them to safety, so they weren't caught in the crossfire of sand or radiation. Sand Demon and Atomic Skull tried to pin him down but weren't able to keep up with this speedster as he was faster than the Flash and didn't stop to talk or say anything. After getting all of the civilians to safety, the speedster eventually stopped in the middle of the street but was vibrating his body at super speed, so he was blur of silver, black, and red.

"There he is. You're fast, speedster. Let's find out how fast!" Sand Demon threw out a sand fist at him but missed as the speedster sped to the side before spinning his arms at super speed to create wind funnels. Said wind funnels pushed Atomic Skull back a little bit and caused the flames on his skull to flicker while Sand Demon was brushed away. Skull fired a concentrated blast at the speedster, but he evaded yet again so he kept up his attack one after another to keep the speedster moving. Sand Demon slithered around on the ground with his sand before reforming his body down the street, so he and Atomic Skull had the speedster trapped between the two of them. Sand Demon extended out his sand arms to grab the speedster as Atomic Skull fired a powerful atomic blast which ended up making things worse.

The speedster waited until the last nano-second to dodge the atomic energy blast which ended up hitting Sand Demon and the intense heat instantly turned his large sand arms into glass.

"AAAHHH!"

Sand Demon cried out in pain and horror as his now glass arms broke off and shattered onto the street, leaving him open to a speedy right hook to his jaw and then a powered uppercut to his face that knocked him out.

"Crap!" Atomic Skull saw Sand Demon go down, so he fired another energy blast which missed as the speedster began racing around him. "Nice try, speedster! That may have worked on Atom Smasher but not on me!"

Skull fired a blast of atomic energy at the ground, creating a shockwave that hit the speedster and sent him crashing into a light pole. The speedster momentarily stopped vibrating so Skull could see what his suit looked like and saw the spiky blonde hair on his head, but the speedster managed to get rise to a knee and began vibrating again so he couldn't see his face. The speedster got to his feet and wobbled a bit to the left so Skull fired another blast, thinking he had a chance only he was slightly wrong.

The speedster wobbled in front of a fire hydrant which he quickly sped out of the way, so Skull's energy blast hit it. The hydrant was vaporized which let out a torrent of water and it's exactly what the speedster wanted. He began spinning his arms again and the wind funnels sent the torrent of water at Skull like a hurricane. He heard the sizzle of evaporating water and plume of intense steam began to spread about as Atomic Skull struggled against the torrent of water that was like getting pelted by the water from a fire hose. Despite Atomic Skull's natural intense heat from his fire skull, the torrent of water and wind was too much as he was forced back and ended up falling. The wind and force of the water sent him tumbling across the street until he hit a car. The excessive amount of water, he was hit with finally put out his flaming skull, knocking him unconscious. Once he was out, the speedster quickly found something to block the water from escaping and then grabbed some nearby rope and tied up Skull and Sand Demon before leaving in a whoosh.

The cops returned to the street and saw both metahumans defeated so they quickly secured them and put power dampening cuffs before taking them into custody. The citizens of Central City witnessed another save from their mysterious speedster, yet no one knew who he was or what he was doing here. Kushina, who was whisked away to safety with Mito was in awe at his speed and thought that he might be fast enough to stop Zoom.

At the warehouse, Ronnie was looking over the police feed and street camera footage of the metahuman attack in the city. Atomic Skull and Sand Demon were taken care of and being taken into police custody when he felt a whoosh of air brush past him that also knocked over some papers.

"I wonder if Caitlin ever got use to the whole paper flying thing." Ronnie commented as Naruto placed the bags of supplies down on a table.

"She did." Naruto pulled his mask down as he began taking some of the supplies out of the bags. "This earth's metahumans aren't pulling any punches. They clearly aren't shy about showing themselves and using their powers."

"Yeah, and they've got some pretty powerful ones. I mean, the guy's head was on fire." Ronnie said. "I mean, how is that possible?"

"I don't know but it was radiation in the form of fire. My suit picked up serious Geiger readings during the fight. Luckily, no one was hurt, and I managed to subdue that sand one as well." Naruto said. "He unfortunately felt what turning from sand into glass is like."

"Nicely done although the fact they were there for you is a little concerning." Ronnie told him. "It won't be long before the other Metas in the city come after you, including this Zoom guy."

"I know. We're working on borrowed time and it won't be long before they try something again. Which is a good thing we managed to get the security system up and running around here. We won't get caught with our pants between our legs." Naruto stated as he walked over and grabbed a high calorie/energy speedster bar. "Stay here, Ronnie. I'll be back later."

"Where are you going?" Ronnie wondered.

"I'm heading to Starling City. I want to check on something." Naruto told him. "Call me if there's an issue."

"Wait are you sure that's a good— "Ronnie was cut off as Naruto had already super sped away. "…idea. That's starting to get annoying."

Star City: Earth-2

Naruto stopped at the outskirts of Starling city where the welcome sign was on the side of the main road heading in, but it was called Star City. Just looking at the city from a distance it looked similar to the one from his earth but looked just as different as the new Central City with the tell-tale signs of reconstruction after some serious damage. He super sped into the city and found himself at Verdant and that's when things got weird. The location was the same as his earth as was the look of the building. The only thing that was different was the name. Instead of Verdant it was called Oliver's Gambit. Some other things in the city were different like he saw Smoak Technology building but Queen Consolidated was still up which was a good thing.

He made his way into the alley behind the club and his goggles picked up the electronic signature of the heavy-duty security system inside which he bypassed to get in. He walked down the steps of the bunker and saw the place looked run down and barely kept together. There was a table of computer monitors that were connected to the city-wide camera system along with a gurney and some medical supplies in the corner but what drew his attention was everything else there. A table filled with blocks of C4 explosives next to bottles of old wine and scotch. Next to that was a table filled with various arrow heads, knives, bullets, and guns.

He walked over to the tables and saw an old photo of the Queen family. Robert, Moira, Oliver, and Thea. He reached over to pick it up when he was clocked in the back of the head and knocked into the gurney. Naruto managed to regain his composure and saw the Arrow standing there with an arrow strung back on his bow and it was aimed right at his head.

"How did you get in here?! Who are you?!"

"I know you'll think I'm crazy but I'm not here to hurt you or cause trouble, Oliver." Naruto swore only to see the arrow heading towards him and dodged it at the last second. He rolled over the gurney to avoid another arrow before the archer followed him and attacked, using the bow like a baston fighting stick. Naruto blocked and parried all of the punches, kicks, and bow strikes and noted how similar he fought to the Oliver from his earth but there was one distinct difference. This Arrow was more brute force and aggression.

He ducked a bow swing to the head but was grabbed by the shoulders where he quickly used his arms to block several knee strikes to the face. After the sixth knee block, he grabbed the archer's leg and spun them to the ground. Naruto did a kip-up back to his feet and quickly blocked and locked the Arrow's bow hand.

"Oliver, stop! I'm a friend!" Naruto pleaded as he grappled him to the ground and removed his hood only to see an older male with grey hair mixed in with his brown and the black greasepaint over his eyes like Oliver used to do.

The man elbowed Naruto in the stomach and then threw him over his hip to the ground and punched him in the face before grabbing his bow and pulling out another arrow from his quiver and pull it back. Naruto spun back to his feet and held his hands in front in case something happened.

"How do you know Oliver?! How did you get in here?!" He shouted as Naruto finally got a solid look and recognized him. That's when he figured out how different this earth's Starling City was from his.

"Oliver didn't survive the Queen's Gambit wreckage…you did. You're Robert Queen…you're his father." Naruto stated as he got to his feet. "I'm not here to hurt you and I don't want to cause you any trouble, Mr. Queen."

"Start talking or this arrow goes in your eye!" Robert warned him.

"You won't believe me but I'm a speedster, like Zoom but a good guy and I'm from another earth. I know Oliver because he and I are friends." Naruto told him only for Robert to fire the arrow. He caught it in his hands but saw the heavy metallic tip. "Aw, shit!"

The arrow exploded with a bright flash of light and sparks that knocked him through the air where he crashed on a table. His ears were ringing, his head hurt, and his ribs ached but nothing he wouldn't heal from within an hour. Robert walked over and pulled out another arrow to put him down when Naruto managed to pull out his phone.

"Gideon, photo of me and Ollie, now!" He shouted and Gideon projected a photo of him, Oliver, Diggle, Felicity, and Laurel in the bunker. That alone made Robert freeze in place.

"Oliver…" Robert dropped his bow to the ground and stared at the holographic photo in shock.

"Like I told you…" Naruto got back to his feet and held his side in pain. "…I'm not from this earth. And I'm friends with your son, the Arrow of my earth."

"Who the hell are you?" Robert asked and Naruto began to explain everything. How he was from another earth and ended up in Central City on this earth without a definitive way back and how he's been facing the Metas of Central City. He also told him about Oliver and Thea from his earth and how Oliver survived the Queen's Gambit sinking and made it back to Starling City to keep his city safe as the Arrow.

Robert walked over to a table and took the picture frame of his family. "And last I checked with Oliver, he and Thea are safe in Starling. He's got his team to help keep the city safe. You'd be proud of him." Naruto told him.

"Oliver made better choices then I did." Robert muttered.

"He's had his missteps too, but he's managed to pull himself up with the help of his friends and family." Naruto added. "A lot of what he's done and who he is now is because of you. You pushed him to be better."

"If only the reverse was true." Robert took a bottle of scotch and poured himself a cup. "As you can see, I don't have a handle on this as easy as Oliver does. Nothing's been the same since the island."

"Oliver's made plenty of mistakes too when he first started, and he has more than his fair share of critics." Naruto pointed out.

"Not like me. I've made plenty of mistakes both with the hood and without it." Robert downed the cup of scotch quickly and let the burn of the alcohol sit in. "Why did you come here?"

"Part of it was to see what's going on with this earth's version of Starling but the other was to get something. I need to get something from Queen Consolidated's applied sciences division. It's to build something that could help me stop Zoom." Naruto told him. "I checked and Queen Consolidated has been working on advance nanotech and nanobot research."

"I don't know if you've noticed but I've been out of the loop of my own company." Robert said as he poured himself another cup of scotch. "Moira and the board of directors forced me out not so long after I returned from Lian Yu. Hard to keep the city safe and be CEO. And now they've taken over and turned it into everything I fight against. The board focuses on weapon development to line their pockets while removing funding to help the city and my own wife helps them."

"You sound like you've given up." Naruto commented and Robert scoffed.

"So, what if I have? What? You're going to tell me that it's my job to keep fighting, to save people I don't know and defend a city and police that hate me? I lost my son because of Malcolm Merlyn, then I lost my daughter to Vertigo, and my wife left me while she thought I was dead. I put on the hood and go out there but for what? Because it's my job and that's what heroes do?" Robert downed his scotch in betterment and anger.

"No, because it's what your son and daughter would want and to honor their memory." Naruto flat out told him. "On my earth, Oliver told me that everything he did when he first started was to honor your memory and right your wrongs. And he did all that despite everything he learned about you. He told me that you weren't the man he knew all his life. The successful businessman, the loving father and husband. It was after the Queen's Gambit went down that he learned how many mistakes and bad choices you made. You put yourself into such a deep hole that you couldn't find a way out of and you forced your son to take up your problem and right your wrongs."

"Your point?" Robert asked, feeling worse that a parallel version did the same thing to his parallel son.

"My point is that Oliver chose to take on your crusade because you knew he could handle it and shoulder the responsibility no matter what happened and set things right. You tried to do everything to set things right and it cost you your life and Oliver five years in hell. But he fights on because he knows it's what you would want and to honor the man he knew you could be. That is why you keep fighting, why we keep fighting. We fight to honor the people who gave up everything for us. For your son and your daughter who meant the world to you and left this world too soon. And we fight to stop that from happening to anyone else. That is why we do what we do." Naruto told him and some of what he said seemed to get through to him. "Look, I can't force you to do anything. This is your city and it's not even my earth. But if your Oliver were anything like mine…giving up was never something he would do."

Naruto saw that was all he was getting from Robert, so he turned and walked away. "South east corner." Robert said, getting Naruto to stop for a second. "There's a false wall in the South east corner of the Applied Science's warehouse. You can use that to get in."

"Thank you." Naruto replied before speeding away.

Robert put his scotch glass down and cleaned up the mess when he picked up the old family photo. He absentmindedly traced his finger around Oliver and Thea, remembering fond memories before everything went wrong and how he couldn't save his children. Robert put the picture down and picked his bow off the ground when his police scanner picked up reports of a robbery at a jewelry store. He zipped up his jacket, grabbed some extra arrows to put into his quiver before pulled his hoodie up and left.

A speeding crimson and silver blur raced throughout Starling City with a crimson and white lightning trail. Gusts of wind brush past pedestrians on the street with many wondering what the hell blew past them. Those that saw the blur rush down the street and read the news of what was going on in Central City suspected it was the new speedster that showed up a few days ago. But what was he doing in Star City?

The Queen Consolidated Applied Sciences building was a modest three-story looking warehouse, but it was clean, modern, and the company's bread and butter with a top of the line security system and security team. The board of directors with Moira Queen's approval and guidance began pushing the company into more serious weapons development. The kind of weapon development that earns a company the title of warmongers and reputations that skirt on the less than stellar kind. Queen Consolidated was one of the country's biggest arms contractors but there were rumors that they also profited by selling to anyone who could pay. But any and all investigations went nowhere, and the rumor was that Queen Consolidated had some kind of secret muscle working for them to make their problems go away.

The Applied sciences building had motion sensors, high-tech cameras, and privately paid security guards set up on a roving pattern. Two guards walked past one portion of the southeast perimeter with another two guards set to walk past again within a minute, but a speeding blur zipped to the wall and pushed against it. The wall pushed inside, and he slipped in and closed it behind him before the guards walked by. Once inside, he walked through the secret pathway and pushed another false wall open and was greeted to the white tiled and blue tint clean environment of the applied sciences division. Desks and worktables were set up around large, secured containers that held all Queen Consolidated projects, most of which were weapons.

He saw new models of assault rifles, pistols, and other standard guns being made along with explosives, armor, and vehicle designs. But that's when things got morbid as they were working on new biological agents, chemical weapons, and he even saw schematics and data for a new kind of nuclear warhead. "Jesus Christ." Naruto couldn't believe what he was seeing. This earth's Queen Consolidated were opening up Pandora's box. He took out his phone and managed to synch it up to the Queen Consolidated computer network. "Gideon, copy everything and then wipe all their data. These kinds of weapons are too dangerous in the wrong hands."

"I'm already on it." She replied as he saw all their computers glitch up before code prompts appeared and Gideon began downloading everything and then deleting it. "I've also managed to gain access to the Applied Science's funding. What would you like to do?"

"Make some creative deposits to people in need and some nice charities. We'll take a page out of Oliver's book." Naruto told her, leaving Gideon to do her work while he walked around to find the things he needed. It took some searching but he eventually found a large airtight clean case that was holding 16 cylindrical tube containers. The containers were connected to powerful magnetic disruptors that kept the nanites contained in the middle in a constant state of flux and in an amorphous form. "Not a bad containment unit for nanites although a little amateur."

The clean case had a serious lock with fingerprint access and three layers of encryption so he decided to make things easier and began vibrating his right hand to phase it through. Going slow, he phased his hand through the case and past all the security beams to grab two nanite containers which he also began phasing and then pulled them out. He quickly stored them in his belt before phasing his hand to grab another two containers so he had four. He made sure the four containers were secure in his belt before checking the computers to make sure Gideon's hack was going smoothly and it was. Within a few more minutes, the entire Applied Science's computer network would be wiped out.

He was about to pack up and leave when Gideon let out an alert beep into his earpiece. "Naruto, incoming!"

Something snagged his leg and pulled, causing him to fall and get pulled up into the air to dangle where he saw an armored figure march over with a sword and swipe. Naruto managed to catch the blade, elbow his assailant in the face and take his sword which he used to cut the cable holding his leg. He fell to the ground and landed in a crouch as he tossed the sword aside and saw his attacker, instantly recognizing the orange color and split helmet he was wearing. A slim black and orange armored suit, with a .50 caliber pistol strapped to his thigh, several knives tucked into his belt and ankle holsters, a single shot shotgun pistol was tucked behind his back with a bandolier of shotgun shells tucks onto his left shoulder pad. A collapsed bo staff was holstered next to two katanas, one less now on his back. And to finish it off, a black and orange helmet split down the middle with the right eyehole covered. Deathstroke, the Terminator.

Naruto and Deathstroke stalked around one another, sizing the other up. Deathstroke pulled out his other katana and pointed it at Naruto. "It appears the game is over before it even begins."

"I'm not one to play games, Slade." Naruto tightened his fists. "Didn't take the legendary Deathstroke as a security guard. You sure have fallen or is Slade Wilson just slumming it now."

"Slade…I knew a Slade Wilson once. I killed him after he gave me a little souvenir." Deathstroke traced his finger around the covered eyehole on the right side of his mask before sheathing his katana and taking out his bo staff. "The reward I'll get for killing you will make this all the sweeter. Or maybe I'll leave you alive for Queen Consolidated for extra money."

Deathstroke spun and swung his bo staff but Naruto blocked and parried before throwing out a punch that was blocked by the bo staff. Naruto push kicked him back before landing a crescent kick to his face. Deathstroke recovered and brought the bo staff down from above which Naruto blocked with his forearm, then used his other elbow to block a bo staff jab before throwing out another push kick that was dodged. Deathstroke did a 1080 butterfly spin and brought his staff down as Naruto side stepped it and threw out a side kick that was blocked along with a right jab. He then leaned his head back to dodge a bo staff hit, grabbed the staff and shoulder slammed Deathstroke forward before throwing out a hook kick that was avoided.

Deathstroke rolled to avoid being kick and pulled out his pistol only to get it kicked out his hand and then a roundhouse kick to the helmet that caused him to stagger. Naruto grabbed Deathstroke's staff and then fell back, throwing him over to the ground but quickly got back to his feet and attacked. Naruto had to block a flurry of staff strikes using his forearms and hands. While his suit had Kevlar/titanium tri-weave, Deathstroke's added strength made sure he felt it. Naruto found an opening and gut punched him before doing another push kick as Deathstroke tossed down a flashbang.

Naruto fought through the bright light and concussed ears to raise his arms to his head and block Deathstroke's flurry of strikes. Deathstroke had enhanced human speed but nothing on a speedster as Naruto was able to keep up with him before grabbing the staff, moving it to the side and headbutting the mercenary in the face where he attacked with his own flurry of punches and strikes to his face and torso before finishing it with a lunging punch that knocked off the helmet. Giving Naruto his first clear view of his Deathstroke and it wasn't the one from his earth. He was older, had greyed out hair but the same eyepatch over the right eye.

Deathstroke shouted in anger as he swung his staff and attacked some more, flipping over Naruto's back to try and attack him from behind but Naruto was able to block and parry everything while getting in some counter attacks. A block to the left, a parry to the face, jab to his stomach, knee block a staff strike to the stomach, sidestep a staff lunge to the head and push kick for some distance. It was ballet and while Deathstroke was likely more trained and had enhanced human capabilities, Naruto was faster and had some training as well. Deathstroke blocked Naruto's right cross and parried it to swing at Naruto's head which he blocked before spinning his staff to his side but Naruto elbow blocked it. Then using the momentum, Deathstroke jumped into the air with a spin and brought his bo staff down hard with an overhead swing but Naruto caught it and threw him into a table.

Deathstroke recovered and rolled from the impact while hurling a knife as he did which Naruto matrix dodged at the last second. Naruto charged Deathstroke and grabbed the staff, then rolling over him and kicking him in the back. Deathstroke did another jumping spinning overhead slam which Naruto dodged and responded with a knee to the face before parrying several strikes and ducking to avoid a jumping tornado spin. Deathstroke swung his bo staff with a wide arc allowing Naruto to stay low, grab him by the waist and slam him onto the ground. Naruto got kicked in the face as Deathstroke did a kip-up and charged forward, doing another flurry of bo staff strikes that Naruto blocked and parried before he caught the staff, threw out an elbow to his shoulder and then several quick wing chun like strikes to his chest and face curtesy of Jiraiya's training.

Deathstroke tried to bo staff bump Naruto in the face but he grabbed the staff and kicked him away so he had it. He then brought it over his knee and broke it in half. Deathstroke unsheathed his katana and assumed his stance before doing a lunge that Naruto sidestepped and then backstepped to avoid a slash that managed to skim and slice a part of his suit. Naruto grabbed Deathstroke's arm and threw him to the ground, nailing him with a roundhouse kick to the face but missed his push kick as he ducked and dodged the sword. Then parried a jumping back kick to the chest and followed up with a left and right hook that Deathstroke ducked under into a spin and slashed with his sword. Naruto caught his arm and threw him to the ground and then landed a spinning hook kick to his chest.

Deathstroke spun with his sword to slice Naruto in half but he managed to catch the sword in-between in his hands at the last second. The two struggled for dominance as Deathstroke inched the sword closer and closer until Naruto managed to hit him with a knee to the groin, an elbow to the jaw and then a spinning back kick to the gut that sent him staggering back. Deathstroke brought his sword down in an overhead swing that Naruto caught with one hand and uppercut him with the other. The stagger from the uppercut allowed Naruto to pull Deathstroke's katana from his hand and slam the pommel in his nose before a powerful push kick knocked him into a wall.

"It's over, Deathstroke. You lost." Naruto told him, huffing a bit at the most intense hand-to-hand fight he's had yet.

"What are you?" Deathstroke asked in anger.

"RAH!" Naruto threw the katana, so it imbedded in the wall right next to his head, catching his attention. He then hit him with a left uppercut to the jaw that bounced him back into the wall and finished it with a final tornado kick to the head that knocked Deathstroke out like a light. Naruto checked and saw he was out before slamming his head into the ground for good measure. "I'm complicated."

He removed all of Deathstroke's weapons and gear and tied him up using some of Deathstroke's own polymer cables. He propped Deathstroke up when he heard several assault rifles click and saw a Queen Consolidated security team of eight aiming their guns at him.

"Don't move." One guard told him. "We'll make this quick."

"Sorry, but we have other plans." Naruto replied.

"We?" A guard asked when an arrow landed in front of them and exploded in a bright flash of light and loud bang. Several grunts and screams later, they were all taken down by the Arrow.

"You're late." Naruto told him as Robert walked over, kicking one of the guards in the gut as he did.

"You knew I was coming?" Robert asked.

"I was hoping." Naruto replied as they looked down at Deathstroke.

"Not bad, kid. Not many can take on Deathstroke. I'm one of them." Robert said. "Billy Wintergreen. Met him on Lian Yu working for a piece of work called Fyers. Jumped ship when I offered him a better deal. That was mistake and I should have killed him then. He's caused me a lot of grief."

"Including working for Queen Consolidated to keep this place safe." Naruto looked around at the weapons and checked his phone to see that Gideon's hack was done. "I wiped their servers but we can't let them keep these things."

"Not gonna be a problem." Robert assured him as he took out several explosive arrows and set them on timers around the place, especially close to tanks of gas or explosive chemicals.

They dragged all the guards and Deathstroke out of the building and made sure they were secured before leaving. Standing on the roof of a building across the street, Robert and Naruto waited a few more seconds until the entire Applied Sciences building went up in smoke and fire. Some of the fire was colored green or purple due to certain chemicals but it was hot and strong enough so that nothing survived. Queen Consolidated's plans were pushed back a bit.

"Well done, kid. Oliver trained you well." Robert told him.

"Thank you." Naruto replied. "What will you do now?"

"All I can do. Keep fighting like Oliver and Thea would want." Robert said. "Take care of yourself, kid. Zoom is no joke. He's got that city scared for a reason."

"I will. You watch yourself out there." Naruto told him as Robert reached into his pocket and took out an envelope with Oliver and Thea's name on it.

"When you get back to your earth, give this to Oliver and Thea." Robert said and Naruto nodded.

"I promise." Naruto put the envelope in his belt and shook Robert's hands. "Take care, Mr. Queen."

Robert nodded before pulling out a grapple arrow and firing it at a nearby building to grapple away. Naruto smiled before securing the nanites on his belt and super speeding back to Central City.

Line Break xxxxx

A few days after heading to Star City, Naruto was in the warehouse/hideout he and Ronnie set up since their arrival on Earth-2. Things in Central City seemed to quiet down and no new metahuman attacks sprung up, but a lot of the city was still looking into the new speedster since the Flash hadn't shown up. Was he a new speedster and if so, where has he been the last two years?

Naruto and Ronnie were at a workstation, developing the speed dampening nanites as a countermeasure should they encounter Zoom. It was similar to the one they used against Thawne and if Zoom was a speedster then it would work on him. Along with the nanites, they also worked up some new energy bars with a different formula to last longer, a new pair of Naruto's repulsor gauntlets that were a lot less bulky and he even made an Icer Shotgun for Ronnie since he didn't have his powers as Firestorm.

Naruto was doing some coding at a computer with one of the containers of nanites connected, programming them and then he would work on having to adjust their structure to emit the pulse to counter speed. Ronnie was building the payload device for the nanites into modified darts for delivery. While they were doing that, Gideon was running some calculations on how they could possibly get back to Earth-1.

"Ok, the darts should be ready to go." Ronnie told Naruto, loading up one of them with water to test the delivery system. "We could fire these from the Icer, or you could just stick Zoom with them if you get close enough."

"Sounds good although getting close to a speedster is usually a bad idea and given how this Zoom is practically Hannibal Lecter then keeping our distance is our best bet." Naruto replied, disconnecting the nanites from the computer before he became a speeding blur at another table doing the adjustments to the nanites to get them to emit the pulse he needed. Ronnie sipped his coffee as he watched Naruto speed through precise and extensive work that likely would have taken a team of scientists at least two months of work. Naruto was able to finish adjusting the nanites in about three minutes. "There, done."

He walked over and poured a few nanites into a dart before locking it shut. "Now all that's left is to actually test it. Care to volunteer?" Ronnie wondered.

"No, this should work. The trick now is to wait until Zoom shows himself." Naruto corrected him. "We've got a possible way to deal with Zoom, now all we need is a way home. Gideon, any luck?"

"Not at the moment." Gideon showed the calculations she ran and none of the simulations gave a definitive method to opening up a breech to get home.

"Ok, fair enough. Right now, the only way Gideon has to open up a breech is to detonate a nuclear warhead next to the city's power grid." Naruto suggested.

"That would be bad. Is that really the only way?" Ronnie asked.

"Other than that, we'd need to increase my speed. Gideon does have plans for a Tachyon speed enhancer that Thawne used but we don't have the stuff to make it." Naruto replied when they heard a beep and were notified of something closing in on the perimeter. "We've got company."

Ronnie grabbed the Icer shotgun while Naruto quickly went to a computer and wiped everything they were doing before suiting up in his Impulse suit. He then put the nanite dart into his belt and slipped on his repulsor gauntlets as he and Ronnie were ready to fight any Metas who were coming after them. The south wall of the warehouse blew open from a loud sonic scream that made Naruto and Ronnie cover their ears momentarily before Naruto fired a repulsor blast. The thud they heard indicated he hit something but the dust and lighting made it hard to see who but two more metahumans charged through the opening. Two men, one had his hands surging with electricity while another had glowing red eyes. They fired electricity from his hands and red lasers from his eyes respectively as Ronnie kicked a desk over for cover and blasted the laser eye meta in the chest with the Icer shotgun. It had enough juice to knock him on his ass and render him unconscious.

Before the electricity meta could fry Ronnie, Naruto blasted him in the leg with a repulsor blast sending him into a crazy spin. The meta got back up only for Naruto to blast him yet again, this time in the back so he was knocked into the wall. One meta phased through the ground behind Naruto and reached over to grab him only for Naruto sucker punch him in the nose, knee him in the gut and then fired a repulsor blast point blank into his chest and that sent him crashing into a table. Naruto was hit in the back by a gust of wind and rolled on the ground to see another meta, controlling wind with his hands. He held his hands up and shaped the wind into a sharp blade to take Naruto's head off when he was blasted in the back by Ronnie and knocked unconscious.

"I'm really liking this thing." Ronnie ejected an Icer shell and helped Naruto back to his feet when part of the north wall glowed red before it was vaporized. The parts that surrounded the opening were on fire and in walked Ronnie's Earth-2 Doppelganger, Deathstorm.

"Well, well. Isn't that a handsome devil? It's like looking into a mirror." Deathstorm smirked only for Ronnie to sigh in disgust.

"Yeah, a twisted funhouse mirror." Ronnie said, aiming his gun at his evil Doppelganger.

"And the fun doesn't stop there?" They heard as a cold breeze swept in and extinguished the flames surrounding the hole before in walked Caitlin's Earth-2 Doppelganger, Killer Frost. "Killing always makes me smile."

"Great, evil Caitlin is here." Naruto muttered when a glowing red scythe cut a large hole in another wall and a vibrational blast blew it open. The debris nearly hit Ronnie when Naruto super sped him to the side.

"Vibe metapower's detected." Gideon alerted Naruto and in walked Earth-2 doppelganger of Cisco, Reverb along with a man in armor and mask wielding a glowing energy scythe.

"And the gang's all together." Ronnie said, readying the Icer shotgun.

"We've been looking for you two." Reverb stated as he walked in. "Tracking you two down took a little effort but wasn't impossible. Not to me."

"You may have taken down Atomic Skull and Sand Demon but we're not gonna go down as easy." Deathstorm stated. "And after our run ins with the Flash, taking you is going to be a lot of fun."

"But don't surrender. Fight. It'll make it all the more fun when we win and take you to Zoom." Killer Frost said.

"So, Zoom's got you second rate lackeys fighting for him? I've kind of lost some respect for him." Naruto boasted, winking at Ronnie as he took a few steps forward. "I mean, if he was so bad as everyone in the city says he is then why did he send you idiots? I already took care of the four wannabees that tried to ambush us. I think I can handle you four."

"Tough talk for a speedster. The Flash thought the same as you yet he was never able to stop us." Reverb commented as Ronnie slowly stalked over to the wall where a lever was located.

"Yeah, well you'll find out there's a distinct difference between other speedster and me." Naruto pointed out.

"And what's that?" Killer Frost wondered.

"I play dirty." Naruto said as Ronnie pulled the lever and the sprinkler system went off, raining down liquid that didn't smell or feel like water. Naruto super sped forward and his lightning trail ignited the liquid on the ground which soon turned the warehouse into an inferno. He quickly grabbed Ronnie and whatever else was still salvageable from the warehouse, put it into a bag and super sped out of there as the raging inferno met with some chemicals scattered around and the blew the warehouse to hell.

Naruto skid to a stop a few blocks away with Ronnie as they watched the fireball in the instance. "Nice." Ronnie commented.

"And you thought that fire trap was too extreme. If it didn't roast them, it at least destroyed all traces of what we were doing." Naruto said when he saw a fireball heading straight for them. "Look out."

He pushed Ronnie out of the way and took the fireball dead center in the chest, knocking him onto the back. Ronnie looked and saw it was Deathstorm flying through the air with Killer Frost on his back. They survived the warehouse explosion without a scratch or burn except for some scorch marks on their clothing. Naruto groaned in pain and managed to get back to his feet while Ronnie fired a few shots from his Icer shotgun that made Deathstorm swerve through the air before he landed on the ground and Killer Frost got off his back. She fired icicles from her hand at Ronnie who rolled out of the way, dodging four of them but the fifth managed to hit him in the leg.

"SHIT!" Ronnie fell to the ground and grabbed his leg in pain as Killer Frost walked over to him, forming an ice dagger in her left hand.

"Seems like a shame to hurt such a pretty face but sorry, breacher. Zoom only wants the speedster." She reared her hand back to stab him in the heart when Naruto shoulder slammed her at super speed, sending her tumbling across the ground.

"Catch!" Ronnie tossed Naruto the icer and he shot Killer Frost square in the chest, knocking her out.

"You're dead!" He heard Deathstorm shout as he ignited his head and threw a fireball which Naruto managed to sidestep. Deathstorm began throwing fireball after fireball that Naruto dodged, grabbing Ronnie off the ground, and speeding him over to a nearby alley.

"Stay here." Naruto put him down against the wall with the Icer shotgun and the bag of their salvaged gear before speeding back to handle Deathstorm. "Is that all you got?! You can't hit the backside of a barn with that accuracy."

"I'm gonna enjoy killing you!" Deathstorm began throwing fireball after fireball which went about as well as you would think against a speedster with him missing every single one. Naruto began speeding around to give Deathstorm a harder target before stopping in one place to fire a repulsor blast. Deathstorm just flew up in the air and began raining down hellfire to burn Naruto alive but he kept moving.

"Come on, Deathstorm! Is that all you got?!" Naruto shouted, antagonizing Deathstorm to make him angrier. Angry people tended to make mistakes.

Naruto began racing around Deathstorm again, stopping in various spots before moving again and he was moving fast enough that he began creating blurry afterimages of himself. "Huh, neat new trick." Naruto thought as he kept up the blurry afterimages and giving Deathstorm multiple targets to hit. He began throwing fireball after fireball but couldn't figure out which target to hit. Naruto sped behind Deathstorm and unleashed a wind funnel that knocked him through the air, so he crashed into the side of a building and hit the sidewalk with a thud.

Despite hitting the pavement from a twenty-foot drop, Deathstorm managed to get back to his feet with some bruises and cuts on his head. Before he could fly into the air, Naruto speed slammed him into the wall, causing it to crack. Deathstorm grabbed Naruto by the shoulder and wrestled him into the wall before igniting his hands and trying to burn his face. Naruto held him back as he felt the heat of Deathstorm's fire when he saw the Quantum Splicer on his chest and got an idea.

"Must be nice having all that power but what about Martin Stein?" Naruto asked.

"He doesn't talk much anymore." Deathstorm smirked as he inched closer and closer.

"Maybe we should let him out then." Naruto let him Deathstorm grab his shoulder and neck, suffering through some intense heat and burns to touch the Quantum Splicer. He pressed a few buttons and twisted the face dial causing the four nodes to retracted to the central piece. Naruto kneed Deathstorm in the gut before kicking him back.

"NO!" Deathstorm quickly tried to do something with the Quantum Splicer and prevent whatever was happening but was too late. His body began shimmering and glowing red before Deathstorm split apart into his two human components, Professor Martin Stein and Ronnie Raymond.

"No…NO!" Ronnie shouted as he saw the professor curled up on the ground in fetal position and the Quantum splicer on the street. Before he could even do anything, Naruto speed punched him across the face and knocked him out.

"Deathstorm was a crappy name anyway." Naruto commented as he walked over to the Earth-2 version of Professor Stein who looked like he hadn't been out in years. "Professor Stein?"

Naruto reached out to touch him when he flinched away and backed up. "Please, no more! No more!"

"Professor Stein, it's over." Naruto assured him, taking the Quantum Splicer, and holding it up so he could see. "You're free."

Professor Stein peaked out from his hands like you would see with a victim who had been trapped in a basement or rescued from a serial killer. Scared out of his mind, traumatized and unsure of what was going on. "How…How?"

"I have some experience with the Quantum Splicer but don't worry. Your evil counterpart is out cold." Naruto motioned over to Ronnie who was face down on the sidewalk as he handed him the Quantum Splicer. "You have your life back."

Professor Stein gingerly took the device in his hands and looked at Naruto. "Are...are you the Flash?"

"No, I'm not. Call me Impulse." Naruto introduced himself.

"Zoom wants you. He won't stop until he gets you. He's obsessed with speed." Stein muttered when a red energy beam blasted the wall near them, and they saw it was the scythe carrying metahuman from the warehouse.

"Go! Find the police and get to safety! GO!" Naruto pulled him back to his feet and ushered him on. The professor bumbled away as the armored scythe carrying metahuman fired another energy beam which missed as Naruto super sped away. "And what do they call you? The Grim Reaper?"

"Call me Rupture. Time to die, speedster." Rupture spun his scythe and fired another energy blast which Naruto met with a repulsor beam. The two blasts canceled each other out and the shockwave knocked them both onto their backs.

"Ugh, I'm not doing that again." Naruto groaned in pain when he saw Rupture leap in the air with his scythe raised above his head.

He quickly rolled out of the way as the scythe punctured into the ground where he used to be. Rupture pulled his scythe out as Naruto kicked out his left leg before socking him across the face with a left cross. Naruto did a kip-up back to his feet as Rupture spun his scythe and slashed, narrowly cutting Naruto's stomach in two if he didn't move out of the way. He then fired another energy blast which Naruto diverted by grabbed the scythe and pushing it to the side, so it blew up a nearby dumpster. Rupture pushed back against Naruto as the energy build up on the scythe began to burn the repulsor gauntlet, so Naruto concentrated and activated his speed force armor. It counteracted the scythe's energy and with that not an issue, he brought his fist down and broke the weapon in two.

With Rupture's scythe now in two pieces and useless, Naruto broke his left arm and then punched him in the face. The speed force armor enhanced the strength and speed of the punch and added electricity to it, sending Rupture flying through the air and crashing into a fence. Naruto deactivated his speed force armor and quickly removed his right repulsor gauntlet which was starting to spark from the damage Rupture's energy scythe did to it.

"Three down, one to go." Naruto muttered, slipping his goggles on to scan and find Reverb. He couldn't see him yet, but they alerted him of a Vibe metahuman nearby just as he got blasted in the back by a vibrational blast and sent headfirst into a trashcan. Despite his head ringing like a church bell, he managed to get to his feet and speed out of the way of another vibrational blast that obliterated the trash can.

Naruto ended up hitting the side of a building as he held his head and tried to fight through the brain rattling which he did. Just in time for another vibrational blast to knock him into the building and crash into a family's living room where a husband, wife, and daughter were watching TV.

"Sorry…" Naruto muttered as he grabbed his side. "You might want to run."

The family couldn't get out of the room fast enough as Naruto got back to his feet and quickly sidestepped another vibrational blast that destroyed the kitchen. Reverb then fired two continuous vibrational blasts at the building causing it to shake, rattle, and generally behave like it was experiencing an earthquake. Reverb was going to bring the building down to kill him along with all the innocent people inside. Naruto super sped out of the building right at Reverb and slid on the ground, slide tackling his legs out from under him.

With Reverb occupied, his vibrational assault on the building stopped and the building was spared. Reverb raised his hand to fire another vibrational blast but Naruto grabbed his hand and twisted his wrist, so the blast went back right into his face, destroying his goggles and knocking him out.

Naruto walked over to Reverb and removed his gauntlets along with his broken goggles. "And Reverb was a stupid name too."

Naruto tied up Reverb, Killer Frost, Ronnie, and Rupture along with the other metas that ambushed him and dropped and anonymous call to the CCPD to pick them up. Soon enough, CCPD arrived in droves with tactical squads and everything. Detective Iris West supervised everything while CSI Barry Allen went over all the evidence from the attack and subsequent capture of the Metahumans.

"Lawton, let the chief know what happened and inform Iron Heights that they'll have some new metahumans for roll call." Detective West told him.

"Roger that, Partner." Detective Floyd Lawton took out his phone and called while CSI Barry Allen continued to bag the evidence.

"Barry, any ID or forensic evidence on the mystery speedster?" She wondered.

"No. No evidence and the fire destroyed everything in the warehouse." Barry told her. "But I'll keep looking to see if I can find anything."

"Good." Detective West then talked to some uniformed officers as the CCPD SWAT team moved the metahumans into the armored carrier.

Naruto watched everyone from a nearby rooftop. He had picked up Ronnie and patched up the wound in his leg. "Iris is a detective and Barry's a nerd. Huh. Go figure." Naruto muttered as Ronnie touched his leg and groaned in pain. He was lucky the icicle didn't tear through any serious arteries or he'd be dead. "How are you feeling?"

"Like I got stabbed in the leg by the doppelganger of my wife but other than that, I'm fine. How are you? You're the one who took them all on?" Ronnie wondered.

"A few cuts, bruises and some burns but I'll heal." Naruto looked at the burning remains of their warehouse.

"Looks like we need to find a new hideout." Ronnie stated.

"What we need to do is make sure that Reverb can't track us down again." Naruto tapped his earpiece. "Gideon, you mentioned a Viber metahuman? Identify."

"A Viber metahuman possesses the ability to tap into the natural energies of reality, allowing them to connect with various vibrations of the multiverse and manipulate them for various effects. One such metahuman is Francisco Ramon AKA Vibe and his Earth-2 counterpart that you recently encountered. One such ability is dimensional awareness, giving them the ability to perceive events throughout space and time to observe or even track down an individual. Another is the vibrational blasts which you have witnessed." Gideon explained.

"What's she saying?" Ronnie asked.

"She's explaining Reverb's powers. Besides the vibrational shockwaves, he's the one who tracked us down." Naruto told him. "Gideon, is there any way to counteract a Viber's ability to track us down?"

"Calculating." Gideon took a few moments before she found something that could work. "By readjusting the pulse emitted from the nanites you just created, they should be able to emit a unique subsonic frequency that could make you invisible to a Viber."

"How certain are you of that?" He wondered.

"95.67% percent certain." She replied as he took out the nanite dart.

"Ok, Gideon. Synch with the nanites and do what you need to." Naruto told her.

"One moment." Gideon replied as they waited for about a minute. "Alteration done. The nanites shall now emit the subsonic frequency pulse that will make you invisible to a Viber."

"Sorry, Ronnie." Naruto walked over to inject the nanites into his neck.

"No, don't apologize. If it keeps us safe…" Ronnie grit his teeth as the nanites were injected into his body. "…then I'm all for it."

"Same here." Naruto injected the remaining nanites into his neck, hoping they would be enough to keep them from being tracked down.

"Ok, now what?" Ronnie wondered. Naruto took a look around at their situation. Ronnie was injured, they were down to a bag of supplies and one Icer shotgun, he was missing a repulsor gauntlet and their hideout was in flames.

"Time to rip the band aid off." Naruto said out loud. "Let's go visit the folks."

STAR Labs

Dr. Wells, Minato, and Kushina were watching the news reports on the latest fight between the city's evil Metahumans and the new speedster. Whoever he was, he managed to take down eight metahumans including Deathstorm, Killer Frost, Reverb, and Rupture, leaving them giftwrapped for the police. It was unlike anything the Flash had ever been able to do.

"So, you still think I shouldn't keep my hopes up?" Minato asked Harrison with a smirk.

"No one likes and I told you so." Wells replied.

"Oh, I don't know. I'm quite fond of them." Minato joked. Wells just shook his head as he moved back to his desk.

"Harrison, this new speedster was able to take down not only Sand Demon and Atomic Skull but four of the most dangerous metahumans in Central City. Metahumans that the police and the Flash have never been able to stop. He's the key to stopping Zoom. I know it." Kushina promised him.

"Now the problem is getting in contact with him." Minato added when the metahuman proximity alarm went off.

"Metahuman proximity alarm." Harrison alerted them when a whoosh of air blew into the room and they saw the blurred speedster standing in the room, supporting someone who looked like Deathstorm.

"Kushina, get back!" Minato grabbed his wife and put her behind him. Harrison got out from behind the desk as he, Minato, and Kushina looked at the mystery speedster and the other man he had with him.

"Harrison Wells, I need your help." The speedster said with his voice disguised.

"What are you doing here?" Harrison demanded to know.

"I need your help. I'm not here to hurt anyone but I need your help to stop Zoom and to get home."

"You're the speedster who's been going around the city." Minato stated.

"Yes, I am."

"Do you work with the Flash?" Kushina asked.

"Not exactly. It's a complicated situation but I need your help and so does my friend." The speedster referred to the man who looked exactly like Deathstorm. "Despite his appearance, we're not here to hurt you. It's not what you think."

"Then how about you explain it? You really expect us to trust you?" Harrison asked.

"No, I don't. But I need your help. And you need mine to stop Zoom."

"Who are you?" Kushina asked.

They saw Ronnie looked at the blur and nod before managing to limp away and grab onto a nearby wall for support. The speedster stopped vibrating so Minato, Kushina, and Harrison could see his suit which looked professionally don3 and exactly what a speedster would need. It has a unique color scheme with the added touch of the lightning bolt in the gear on the chest but what they noticed was the mask and the spikey blonde hair on his head. The speedster slowly moved his hands up to his mask and removed it so they could see and there was a moment of pause for everyone when he did.

"That's not possible…" Minato muttered.

"It can't be…" Kushina added.

Naruto removed his mask and looked at his Harrison Wells and his parents doppelgangers with as neutral a face as he could make it. "My name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze from Earth-1. I'm the doppelganger of your son and I need your help."

With that big bombshell of a discovery, you might be wondering how everyone reacted and well, Kushina fainted. Which was to be expected and to be fair Minato almost did as well. After that big bombshell, it at least got Harrison to not throw Naruto and Ronnie into a metahuman power dampening cell. Instead, they had some blood samples taken and were put into a spare lab room while the adults talked things over. Fine by him as it allowed Naruto to really tend to Ronnie's injury, sewing up the damage and wrapping it in gauze.

He wrapped the gauze around his leg wound as tight as he could while Ronnie grit his teeth every now and then. "How are you feeling?"

"Better, thanks." Ronnie replied as he sipped some water. Naruto finished wrapping his leg and then gave him some morphine for the pain.

"There, that should keep you good for a while. Stay off the leg until you heal but you're a metahuman so it should heal faster than normal." Naruto told him.

"Thanks." Ronnie replied. "How are you doing?"

"Well, considering that we're not locked in a cell or shot by my parents, so far I'm doing ok." Naruto told him. "Can't imagine how they must be feeling."

"Not the meeting you imagine, huh?" Ronnie wondered.

"No, actually this is how I expected they would react." Naruto stated when they heard the door open and in walked Wells, Minato and Kushina. "I was wondering when you three would walk back in. I take it you've tested our DNA to see if I'm telling the truth."

"We did. Your exactly identical to the Ronald Raymond who is currently in CCPD custody and you match Naruto who died years ago." Harrison said.

"I know. One of the first things I did when we got here was to figure out where my doppelganger is. I went to the cemetery. It's where I first saw you two." Naruto said, looking at his parents who weren't sure how to react. "Trust me, seeing you two again wasn't easy for me either."

"I take it things worked out differently on…on your earth." Minato pointed out.

"Oh yeah." Naruto replied. "Turns out our earths are sort of opposites of one another. On my earth—"

"We're dead but you're not." Kushina finished.

"Bingo. And a lot of things have happened because of that." Naruto commented.

"Just start with how you ended up here." Minato told him.

"The Flash of my earth, he and I were dealing with an evil speedster from the future, the Reverse-Flash. He traveled back in time and changed a lot of things, messed with everyone's lives, and killed people. It's a lot to explain but basically his last act ended up creating a singularity over our Central City. We managed to contain it and our Earth's Firestorm managed to close it." Naruto explained.

"That's the huge portal you saw open up in the sky. We closed it but got knocked through and ended up here." Ronnie added.

"The singularity was a portal of trans-dimensional energy that knocked you into another world in the multiverse." Minato concluded.

"Wow, you really are their son." Ronnie told Naruto.

"Yeah, turns out the Multiverse is real." Naruto took out his phone and put it on the table. "Gideon, holographic map of the multiverse, please?"

"Of course." Gideon projected the same multiverse map she showed Naruto and Ronnie before. This gave Harrison, Minato, and Kushina a better idea of the multiverse and how it worked.

"Incredible." Harrison looked at the map in wonder. This was the scientific discovery of a lifetime.

"Gideon?" Kushina wondered.

"Uh, she's an AI I created in the future that came back to the past with the Reverse-Flash. He stole a copy of her along with a bunch of other stuff throughout time. It's a long and complicated story." Naruto explained. "After we finally figured out where we were and what was going on, we've been laying low until the metahumans started showing up. I had to help. That is until Reverb and the others managed to track us down to the warehouse. We won that fight but after that, we knew we couldn't go back into hiding. We need your help to get us back to our earth."

There was a moment of pause for everyone after that as they let it all sink in. None of them were expecting anything like this. "Wow, this is a lot to take in." Minato stated.

"Trust me, you're preaching to the choir on this one." Naruto assured him. "Look, I never wanted to be able to meet you two again like this. I didn't want to come and dredge up any old feelings or make you relieve bad memories. It's the last thing I wanted to do if this world's Naruto is anything like me, but we need your help."

"STAR labs is our best shot at figuring out a way to get back to our home." Ronnie told them.

"How do you think we can even help you?" Harrison wondered.

"Besides running some further calculations and figuring out if there's some possible trans-dimensional energy left filtered throughout the city to open up another breach. If that doesn't work, I was hoping you might be able to help us build a tachyon speed enhancer. Assuming you have Tachyons on this earth." Naruto said.

"We do but not a lot of research has gone into their development here at STAR labs. I mean, we never really figured out a solid use for a Tachyon generator that we haven't already accomplished with the ARC reactor." Minato pointed out.

"Ah, so they have an ARC reactor here too. Good to know." Ronnie commented.

"Well, considering it was my parents' work on our earth it makes sense." Naruto told him before getting back to the point. "A Tachyon generator will charge the speed force in my cells and increase my overall speed. If I'm fast enough, I'll be able to open up a breach to get back to our earth but we don't have the supplies to build it."

"Is it possible, Harrison?" Kushina asked him. He paced around as he let it set in his head and work out the math.

"Yes. But to get the things we need, the calculations we'd have to do, not to mention how long it would take to stabilize the Tachyon reaction…we'd be lucky to get that done in a year." Harrison admitted.

"I have a feeling Gideon can speed that timeframe up. She's helped build one before." Naruto told her. "I know this is a lot to ask but I wouldn't be asking if we didn't need your help. If I increase my speed, I should also be fast enough to help protect the city against Zoom. He's been sending the metahumans after me since I showed up. With the Tachyon speed enhancer, it could work."

Harrison shared a look of unease that Minato and Kushina could see. "Harrison, this could be it. Our chance to stop Zoom and make sure he can't come after us or Jesse." Minato told him.

That line of reasoning seemed to pull Harrison to their side. "Ok. I'll see what we need to get and what we have here."

"Thank you, Dr. Wells." Naruto said with a fairly neutral expression, something Minato and Kushina picked up.

"Um, could we have the room for a moment." Minato asked everyone. Harrison nodded and left while Naruto helped support Ronnie up to his feet. "We actually meant for you to stay, Naruto."

"Oh, uh…"

"It's ok, dude. I can take care of it." Ronnie assured him as Kushina handed him a crutch which he used to limp out of the room until it was just the Earth-1 speedster and his earth-2 parental doppelgangers.

"I was wondering when we would be having this discussion." Naruto rubbed his forehead and prepared himself for the sheer mental taxing this was going to take. "Do you two want to go first?"

"You seem stressed." Kushina stated.

"Yeah, well I've been dealing with a lot the past couple of months which only doubled the last few days so yeah." He exhaled and pinched the bridge of his nose. "This wasn't exactly how I expected my life to go. Not in the very least. Coming to another earth and meeting you two but it's different."

"And struggling not to punch Harrison in the face." Minato added. "I noticed you've been on edge every time he opened his mouth or he looked at you. What's wrong?"

"It's nothing against him. I can't hold a grudge against someone I don't know but…" Naruto paced around a bit, finishing Ronnie's water bottle. "…someone with his face caused a lot of problems on my earth and it's not even the real Harrison Wells."

"Uh, what?" That confused both his parents.

"On my earth, the Reverse-Flash used some kind of future tech to morph his body into an exactly duplicate of Harrison Wells. The man helped foster my love for science, trained me as a speedster, hell he practically helped raise me but he was also the man who went psycho, killed who knows how many people, terrorized Central City and has done irreparable damage to the lives of me and my friends." Naruto ranted on and both Minato and Kushina could see it weighed him down. "Yet, he claimed to actually care about me and said that everything he did was to make me better and what's worse is that I'm actually stuck with that for the rest of my life."

"What do you mean?" Minato asked.

"The evil Wells/Reverse-Flash, he's the reason I am who I am today. He's the little cricket on my shoulder throughout my entire life, the tiny devil whispering in my ear. Everything I am, he's molded since he traveled back in time and he told me he did it out of love." Naruto slumped down into a chair and grabbed his hair in frustration. "I honestly don't know what to do. Why am I even telling you this? I'm not your son."

"Aren't you?" Kushina asked him.

"You know what I mean. I'm from another earth. I'm the doppelganger of the son you lost the same day I lost my parents on my earth. Realistically, we shouldn't mean anything to each other." Naruto leaned back in the chair and let out a sharp exhale. "Dear god, I wish for simpler times."

"Don't all of us." Minato commented as he and Kushina shared some knowing looks. "On your earth, whenever you got sick…what would your father make you?"

"What?"

"Just humor me. Whenever you got sick, what would your father make you to feel better?" Minato wondered.

"Uh…" Naruto rubbed the back of his head. "He'd make me his special tomato rice soup. Anytime I was sick whether it was a fever, cold or whatever he would always make it because— "

"Because it's what his mother made him when he was younger." Minato finished. "My mother did the same. I imagine we'll have a few more in common."

"What lullaby would your mother use to sing you to sleep?" Kushina asked.

"Hey Jude because it was her favorite Beetles song." Naruto answered seeing her smile.

"Guess the Beetles are a multiversal standard." She replied.

"And our favorite movie to watch when I was younger was the Godfather despite the fact that I wasn't old enough to watch it." Naruto told them, causing them both to smile.

"Looks like every earth has the godfather, Vito." Minato told him. "No matter what earth we're on, we will always be your parents and you will always be our son."

"I really wish that were true but I don't think I'm anything like your Naruto." He admitted. "I've done some things I'm not proud of."

"So, have we. Families are like branches on a tree. We grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one. No matter where they take us or what universe we end up on." Kushina told him, reaching out and taking Naruto's left hand into her right. "You can always count on us."

Naruto teared up a little which he wiped away before holding her hand tight. "You have no idea how badly I've wanted to see you two again."

"So, have we." Minato and Kushina told him. Naruto got up as Kushina moved her other hand up to touch his face. He flinched for a moment before relaxing into her touch as Kushina then hugged him. Naruto relaxed his arms around her and hugged her back before Minato joined as well.

It wasn't exactly the same…but family was back together and would need each other.

In the surrounding badlands miles outside of Central City and where no one ever ventured, Zoom had taken up residence in an old abandoned mine. It's where he went whenever he wanted someplace to rest and where he kept his trophies. One such trophy was a man stuck in a carbine walled cell with an iron mask on his head. The man was slumped on the ground, defeated and unable to do anything to escape.

Zoom watched the news about the recent arrests of his lackeys and their defeat by the hands of the new speedster who was in Central City. They couldn't even do a simple job like they were told to. While it was frustrating…it also intrigued him. A speedster able to take down eight metahumans by himself was fast…and a worthy prey. Zoom walked over to a table with a whole bunch of medical and chemical supplies on it.

"It's time I take matters into my own hands." Zoom began creating something at the table and whatever it was, he needed it.

Line Break xxxxx

Naruto and Ronnie were now situated at STAR labs of Earth-2. They had a lounge in the private areas where Harrison and his parents worked so they could stay there for the time being. And with the nanite injection, they were hidden from another Viber if there was one. Dr. Wells, Minato and Kushina had to keep up appearances with most of everyone else in the building and keep doing their work while Naruto and Ronnie were kept down to their quarters. Ronnie had the face of a wanted criminal and Naruto was supposed to be dead so they couldn't exactly be seen walking around the building.

They spent that time working on replacing the nanites they had to use for the Viber protection and working on the Tachyon speed enhancer. Even with Dr. Wells and Minato's calculations, the best way to get back to Earth-1 was increasing Naruto's speed and that would take some time. That's not to say that everything was going badly. There were some interesting moments.

Interesting moment 1

Needing some elements and materials for the Tachyon speed enhancer that weren't available at STAR labs, it left the group only one option and that was to travel to this Earth's Atlantis to get them. Normally getting things from Atlantis wasn't an issue but these special items needed to be special ordered and that could take weeks of paperwork and shipping. But the Atlantean customs agents were willing to make the situation go faster if they picked them up. For normal people, that alone would be a hassle as Atlantis was located in the North Atlantic smack dab in the middle of the ocean between the Americas and Northern Europe/England. Sure, getting there for vacation was fine as you take a six-hour plane ride and go through Atlantean customs but just to pick up some packages? No way.

Lucky for them, Naruto would be able to run that distance, get the items and come back in about a round trip of a few hours. After getting some extensive directions and being told where to go, he super sped out of Central City and took the trip all the way to Atlantis. He blew past the Atlantean customs and the whole mob of people who arrived in Atlantis for vacation or business and ended up in Poseidonis, the capital city. He skid to a stop in an alleyway between an Atlantean building and a human Big Belly Burger.

"Big Belly Burger on this earth, too? God bless the multiverse." Naruto quickly undressed from his suit and got back into normal clothes before joining the flock of people and flow of traffic. He followed the map Dr. Wells gave him and maneuvered past everyone as politely as he could but it was honestly chaos. Imagine going to Disney Land mixed with the layout of Manhattan with a dash of Hawaii. That's Atlantis. There were Atlantean buildings with ancient and old designs that were probably centuries old but looked more modern and brand new then anything he had seen on his earth. Mix with the Atlantean buildings were designs and architecture of a human mind, mostly new businesses like the Big Belly Burger. He observed that a lot of the human food buildings ended up drawing the longest lines from native Atlanteans. Guess after being stuck with their native food, getting something new must be nice.

Native Atlanteans looks pretty much like regular humans but had noticeable gills on their neck with some wearing special collars filled with water. Guess some Atlanteans needed water to survive above ground. There were tourist families treating everything like a vacation to the Bahamas with tacky Hawaiian shirts and the non-stop photos. There were some people in more business attire, probably there to do business with Atlantean companies for resources or materials like he was. In the middle of the city was a large golden statue dedicated to the Atlantis's ruler, King Arthur Curry. Ordained with armor and wielding a mighty trident, he looked imposing.

"Wonder if we have an Atlantis on our earth?" He muttered to himself. "Add that to the bucket list."

He continued his trek into the city to the Atlantean research center which was honestly set up like some kind of IKEA for Atlantean materials and supplies. After waiting in a line for about an hour, he eventually managed to find his way up to the kiosk where he saw the worker had a humanoid body but looked more aquatic and fish-like with a special water breathing collar.

"I'm picking up an order for Dr. Wells." Naruto handed him the paperwork.

"Sure thing." The worker input the information and left to get the supplies. He waited in line for a bit, watching some Atlantean children play with some human children tourists and it was quite a wholesome sight. The worker eventually returned with six boxes of material. "Here you go. Just sign here."

Naruto did and piled up the boxes. "Thanks." Naruto picked them up but staggered a bit as they were heavier than he initially thought. "Holy…crap…"

"You ok, sir?" The worker asked.

"I'm fine. Thanks." Naruto took a breath and picked himself up, carrying the boxes to a nearby alley where he could super speed back.

Heading back was a little harder as he was carrying some heavy stuff and when he hit the east coast, he had to take a break. But he got the supplies they needed and managed to see Atlantis. Bucket list, check.

Interesting moment 2

Naruto was sitting in a lab doing some adjustments to his Earth-2 Smartwatch. After reading up on all of the Earth-2 science and engineering at the library when they first arrived here, it was all second nature to him now. He was making some adjustments to the smartwatch to essentially turn it into a super computer with various sensors and such along with installing a holographic interface system so he didn't need to keep taking out his phone to project something. It took some time, but it was elegant work and he was proud of himself.

"One more adjustment." Naruto did one more adjustment with a coding tool before putting it away and closing his smartwatch back up. "Ok, let's test this thing."

He pressed a button which summoned Gideon's holographic face. "Well done, Naruto. My integration with your Earth-2 smartwatch is complete and rather graceful."

"Thanks, Gideon." Naruto smiled as he took out his phone to make sure the relay between her neuromorphic matrix and the watch was smooth and it was.

After that, he opened up his pictures and browsed through them, taking a trip down memory lane. He saw a few with him, Tsunade, Shizune, and the kids at the shelter. He just hoped they were doing ok. He passed one picture of him with Jiraiya that Caitlin took. Jiraiya was ruffling his hair while the two ate popsicles. He smiled at the photo, hoping that Jiraiya was still alive and that he didn't get himself killed yet. The next photo was one of Linda. He took it on one of their dates in the park. She was wearing boots, blue jeans, and a high neck solid fitted white tee with long sleeves. She was walking through the grass while looking back at the camera with a smile. It honestly looked like a stock photo for picture frames. She looked that good.

The next photo was a selfie taken at his office in STAR labs. He was sitting at his desk giving Linda a kiss on the cheek while she had her arms around his neck and one arm out to take the photo on her phone. The next photo was a throwback as it was taken on their first date. It was of the two of them at the jazz club they went to after dinner. Naruto held Linda by the side as she tucked her head into his neck. Seeing that reminded him of all the good times and how much he missed her. He wouldn't be the man he is without her and now he just hoped she was still ok. The last photo he stopped on was the team in the cortex just after they stopped the Royal Flush Gang but before Hartley Rathaway showed up. It was the super speed selfie Barry took. Naruto had his arm wrapped around Linda with Cisco standing next to her, Barry on his other side with Caitlin next to him, and with Kurama on Dr. Wells/Thawne's lap. He smiled at the fond memories, ignoring Thawne's presence there.

"Are you ok, Naruto?" Gideon asked.

"Not really. I miss them, Gideon." Naruto admitted. "God, I miss them. Ronnie and I have been gone nearly two weeks and I didn't think I'd miss them this bad. I just hope they're ok."

"From my last moments connected to the STAR labs system, I believe they are." Gideon told him.

"Thanks, Gideon. I just miss Linda so much." Naruto said. "I hope she knows I love her."

"I believe she does."

"And believe it or not, I'm starting to miss Barry as well. Holding onto a grudge seems a little childish with everything going on. I'd still probably punch him in the face and gut along with another stern talking to but…I don't know." Naruto put his phone away and looked at the time which was around 2pm. He was feeling a little hungry. "Gideon let my parents know that I went out to get something to eat if they ask."

"Of course."

He snuck out of STAR labs and joined the civilian foot traffic, blending in with everyone and heading to the nearest Big Belly Burger. Another great thing besides finding another Big Belly Burger was that it tasted exactly the same as his earth if not better. After ordering ten Big Belly Buster burgers and a large soda, he sat down at a table and enjoyed himself.

He finished all ten burgers with a smile on his face and sipped his soda when he noticed the looks he was getting. It wasn't every day you would see someone manage to eat more than three burgers in one sitting without looking like they needed medical attention afterward. Seeing that he was getting their attention, he walked out of Big Belly Burger when he heard someone shout stop.

He saw a mugger holding a backpack in one hand racing down the street while a CCPD officer chased after him. "FREEZE! STOP!"

Naruto sighed as he turned around and yawned, stretching his arms out so the mugger ended up clotheslined and falling on his back. "Ouch. Watch where you're going buddy." Naruto commented as the officer arrived and quickly moved the mugger onto his front before handcuffing him.

"That was a dangerous thing you did, kid. You could have gotten yourself hurt." The officer told him when a girl walked up to them.

"He stopped him and got my bag back. I'm thanking him." She remarked. Naruto recognized her from the research he did on STAR labs when he and Ronnie first arrived. She was Jesse Wells; Dr. Wells daughter and it was probably a bad idea that she saw him. "Thank you for stopping him."

"No problem." Naruto sipped his soda and did his best to avoid her gaze. "I did what any good Samaritan would do."

"Well, you saved my backpack and all my school work so you are a good Samaritan. I'm Jesse." She introduced herself.

"Uh…nice to meet you Jesse." Naruto shook her hand as she looked at him.

"Can I know the name of my good Samaritan?" She wondered.

"It's…Nathan." Naruto told her.

"Ok…nice to meet you Nathan." Jesse chuckled. "So, are you always a good Samaritan or am I a special case?"

Naruto chuckled at her joke and at her attempts to flirt. If Harrison could see them now, he would probably kill him. "I try to keep my nose clean. I'm just glad I was able to stop him from getting away with your school stuff. Not that it would do him much good unless this was just some long winded scheme of a bully or person who needed your homework." He joked, earning a chuckle from Jesse. "Hate to cost you having to catch up in high school."

"College, actually. It has my advance theoretical physics work." Jesse corrected him.

"College? Wow, you look really young to be in college." Naruto pointed out, trying to be polite and glad she didn't recognize him at all.

"Well, I graduated high school at fifteen so I'm something of a prodigy. The past three years at Hudson have been great but I'm ready to move on to my masters." Jesse stated.

"Wow, a regular wunderkind. You must crush study groups." Naruto joked.

"I've been known to help people pass their exams." Jesse admitted, looking at him. "I'm sorry for staring but you look really familiar. Have we met?"

"I don't believe so. I'm new in town and just visiting some relatives. I'm not from around here." Naruto told her.

"Well then, how about you allow me to show you around town." Jesse said when the officer walked over to take her statement. "Just one second."

She talked with the officer as he jotted some things down for her statement to complete the arrest. Naruto was tempted to just speed away with neither of them seeing but there was a small part that was tempted to continue to hang out with Jesse. She seemed fine and he knew it would piss off Harrison which made it all the sweeter. He ended up thinking about it so long that Jesse finished with the officer.

"So, shall I take you on a tour of Central City?" She asked.

"Sure thing. Could be fun." Naruto replied as Jesse led him on a tour through the city, taking him to all the must see spots and giving him some useful information. It was a nice little reprieve from everything he had been faced with since coming to this Earth.

He later returned to STAR labs and was working with Ronnie in the lab when Minato walked in. "Uh, Naruto would you care to explain why Harrison is cursing your name and warned me to tell you to stay away from his daughter?"

Minato and Ronnie looked at Naruto who just smirked. It was fun to mess with people.

Interesting moment 3

Naruto was sitting on a couch in one of STAR lab's lounges waiting for his parents. It was time to officially meet Mito Uzumaki Namikaze, his Earth-2 sister. He was nervous as this was beyond a weird situation. Technically, she wasn't his sister but having connected with his Earth-2 parents, meeting her seemed inevitable. And Minato and Kushina couldn't keep this from her forever. He really wished he had a flask of that speedster strength whiskey Cisco made.

The door opened and in walked his dad. "You ok?"

"I'm nervous if that makes sense. How's she?" Naruto wondered.

"Absorbing everything. This is beyond complicated but Mito's smart for her age. I think she gets it." Minato told him. "She's excited to meet you."

"My heart is racing and for a speedster, believe me that's saying something." Naruto muttered.

"Trust me, Mito does that to everyone." Minato assured him as Kushina walked in holding onto Mito's hand. Getting a better look at her now, he saw that while he took after their father minus the whisker birthmarks on his face Mito took after their mother. She had red hair that was done up in twin buns kind of like Princess Leia but it worked for her and honestly looked like a younger clone of their mother. She was wearing a STAR labs t-shirt, sweatpants with an orange and blue jacket with a white collar, a white swirl tassel on the left side, and the red Uzumaki crest on the back. "Mito, there is someone we'd like you to meet."

"This is Naruto from Earth-1. He's your brother's doppelganger." Kushina added as Naruto knelt so he was his sisters height.

"It's nice to meet you, Mito." Naruto smiled as Mito took a few steps forward. She looked at him and he looked at her. There was a moment of silence before they saw tears form up on the edge of her eyes. That's when she charged and wrapped her arms around him in a fierce bear hug, not letting go or giving up an inch. Naruto smiled as he hugged her back.

"I missed you so much." Mito whispered as Naruto rubbed her back and held her close.

"I know it's not the same but I'm happy to meet you." Naruto told her as the two separated a bit. "You look just like mom."

"And you look just like dad like you always do." Mito told him.

"Mito…I'm beyond happy to meet you but you do know that I'm not the Naruto you know. I'm from a different earth." Naruto reminded her.

"I know that. Mom and Dad explained everything but…I'm glad to see you again." Mito said. Naruto smiled as he wiped a tear from her cheek.

"Not as happy as I am. I've always wanted a sibling and now I have a sister. And now I need to get to know you." Naruto hugged her close and sat her down next to him on the couch. "And you need to get to know me."

"Sounds like fun. First things first…do you like Big Belly Burger?" She asked and that made him laugh.

"Yeah, I do." Naruto replied. "Do you like ramen?"

"What's ramen?" Mito, Kushina, and Minato asked at the same time. That response made Naruto's heart break.

"Dear lord, you three have been living in the dark ages." Naruto commented. "Let's move this to the kitchen. I have a lot to show you three."

And that's what they did. After heading to a grocery store, Naruto began making Tsunade's ramen recipe and engaged in a nice talk with his earth-2 family for the hours he spent making dinner. Making the stock and then making the noodles from scratch was a lot of work but he was able to do it with ease with his speed. When it was all said and done, the kitchen was filled with the delicious aroma of a hearty yet light soup as Naruto poured it over three bowls of ramen noodles before topping them with some roasted park, some fermented bamboo shoots, a sheet of nori, some scallions and to top it off was some Narutomaki or fish cake. If you're wondering…yes, he was sort of named after them.

"Ok. Here you go. Enjoy." Naruto served them their three bowls. Minato, Kushina, and Mito looked at their bowls with curiosity before taking their chopsticks and taking their first bite/slurp of noodles after which there was a brief pause. "Well?"

"This…"

"AMAZING!"

Mito began eating her bowl with gusto, probably spilling a good portion of soup on her jacket. Minato and Kushina were a bit more subdued but they ate with as much gusto as their daughter. Suffice to say that introducing Ramen to this earth would be a smart idea. After a lot of ramen and serving some to Ronnie, the Uzumaki-Namikaze family continued their chat as Naruto was telling them about Kurama.

"I found him when I was a kid and he was just a baby. I nursed him back to health and he's been with us ever since." Naruto showed them pictures of Kurama and Mito was in love.

"Oh, he's so cute. I always wanted a pet but dad never let us have one." Mito pointed out.

"You barely pick up after yourself, Mito. You wouldn't have picked up after a pet." Minato reminded her only for Mito to stick her tongue out at him. She flipped through the photos on his phone until she stopped at one of Naruto and Linda.

"Who's this? She's pretty." Mito said.

"That is Linda Park, my girlfriend." Naruto told her. Kushina and Minato looked and she was beautiful. "I met her at Jitters. Saved her from falling and we hit it off after that. We just clicked."

"Is she a scientist like you?" Minato asked.

"She's actually a reporter. She works for Central City Picture News as a sport's reporter but she's also had some serious pieces in the paper. She's my better half. I wouldn't the person I am without her." Naruto admitted. "She's my lightning rod. I'll always find my way back to her."

"That's so sweet." Mito told him.

"We'll help you get back, Naruto. Don't worry. You'll see Linda again." His dad promised.

"I hope so. I miss her." Naruto stated.

"And I'm sure she misses you even more." Kushina smiled at the photo of the two of them. "I can tell she's a keeper."

"Well, we were living together before I got knocked here." Naruto admitted. "She could be the one. And I'm sure she'd love to meet the three of you."

Mito hugged her brother and Naruto kissed her head as the family that wasn't really family forged a new bond. One that would stick around for a long time.

Interesting moment 4

Naruto was with Ronnie working with his dad in his private laboratory in STAR labs. The three were working on the speed dampening nanites along with a new Icer gun for a delivery system. Minato was able to refine the formula and nanite configuration so it was much more potent and developed an Icer rifle based on the Icer shotgun that Naruto made but again, made some improvements.

Ronnie and Naruto finished putting the rifle together while Minato supervised them and watching over the nanite stability via his tablet. "This is a really elegant design, Naruto. And you made more of these on your earth?" Minato asked.

"Yeah. We created a whole bunch of Icers for police and law enforcement. Non-lethal, powerful, and able to even stop a metahuman. Between those and whole bunch of other stuff, STAR labs was kept very busy." Naruto told him.

"Well done. The Icer idea is definitely something we should have thought of here along with this speed dampening nanite formula. You sure it will work?"

"It worked against the Reverse-Flash. Even for a little bit. It should work against Zoom." Ronnie added, finishing with the last component. "All set."

"Ok, let's test it out." Minato took the Icer rifle and pulled back the slide to load in an icer round. He took aim at a dummy and fired, hitting it right in the chest and the data nodes showed the injection of the dendrotoxin.

"Ok, now let's try the other ammo." Ronnie handed Minato a special silver cased round that looked like a shotgun shell. Minato loaded it in and fired and as soon as it hit, the dummy was knocked back like it was hit with a medicine ball. "Concussive rounds works nicely."

"How about the plasma round?" Naruto held up a similar looking shell but it was glowing blue. Minato loaded it in and fired, this time the round ended up blowing the dummy's head clean off and charring the area around the wound. "Rifle works well and our ammo seems to work after enough trial and error."

"This ought to level the playing field with Zoom." Minato handed the rifle to Ronnie. "But shooting at him from afar is only going to work so much so I've been going over your repulsor gauntlet."

Minato held up the one gauntlet that Naruto had when he arrived. "Yeah, the other one was damaged by Rupture's energy field." Naruto told him. Minato brought up some new designs and modifications on his tablet. "Oh…oh that's good."

"Let's get started." Minato told him.

Interesting moment 5

Naruto was spending some time with his mother in her lab but it wasn't typical mother-son bonding. He was running on a newly built treadmill that he and Ronnie made so she could run some tests on his biology and his speed. Part of it was to make sure he was doing ok and the other part was the chance to run some test on an actual speedster. Every biologist dream of doing research like this.

"How are you doing?" Kushina asked, looking over her tablet as it relayed all of Naruto's data from the electrical nodes, she placed on him. She walked around the treadmill and watched him running at super speed, easily hitting his max speed of about Mach 2.5.

"Just fine. It's been a while since I've had a good workout. Can't exactly run around the city without attracting attention." Naruto replied. "How are my charts?"

"This is amazing. Your bio-chem rhythms, cortisol levels, respiratory functions are extraordinary. I have always wanted to be able to study a speedster since the Flash appeared on this earth and now, I can do that with my own son." Kushina smiled as she was beyond happy.

"Yeah, I was actually hoping to talk to you about the Flash." Naruto slowed down to a stop and took a deep breath. "So, you know Jay Garrick is the Flash?"

"Yes. Everyone does. Granted, I don't know him personally but I've seen him in action. He's impressive but not like you." Kushina assured him when she saw he still looked concerned. "What's wrong?"

"It's just…according to Gideon there shouldn't be a Jay Garrick on this earth." Naruto told her.

"What do you mean?" Kushina put her tablet down on the table before handing him a towel.

"What I mean is…this earth should have a speedster but she's female. Jesse Quick. And Gideon has no record of a Jay Garrick of this earth. There is a Jay Garrick of Earth-3 and he's the doppelganger of the father of the Flash. Things turned out differently but since the Flash of my earth's has his doppelganger here, then there shouldn't be a Jay Garrick." Naruto explained.

"Maybe Gideon was wrong?" Kushina suggested.

"Gideon's many things but wrong is not one of them. Ever. She's from the future too so she would know a lot. And it's not just that. It's the Flash himself. I mean, I looked into him and there's not a lot there. Plus, what speedster in their right mind who fights metahumans on a daily basis would let his real name be known to the world? It makes serious sense. If he and Zoom had been fighting for two years, Zoom would have had no problem finding the Flash at his home and killing him there." Naruto told her and it was making some sense.

"Ok, well we can look into it later. I promise." Kushina said and he nodded. "For now, I want to keep running some more tests. First things first, I just got a brilliant idea for you to try."

"What's that?" Naruto sipped some water.

"I want you to throw your lightning." She told him causing him to stop drinking.

"You want me to what?" Naruto asked as she brought over her tablet to show her a computer simulation of what she meant.

"I've been running a whole bunch of simulations and data on your powers since you've been running and I think that you can actually use your lightning trail as an offensive weapon. When you run you generate electricity and lightning but when you stop it's absorbed back into your body. That split second before it does gives you the opportunity to use your kinetic energy as a lightning rod and guide it to a target." Kushina explained.

"Wow, you really thought this through." Naruto commented.

"Oh, I've got a whole bunch of simulations set up and I think your blood and rapid cellular regeneration might actually help me with the new serum I've been designing for treatments." Kushina kissed him on the cheek. "Get some more water in your system and have one of your speedster bars. We get back to testing in an hour."

She walked out of the lab with a pep in her step while Naruto was starting to dread what was coming. "Dear god I've created a monster."

Line Break xxxxx

A month and a half had passed since Naruto and Ronnie arrived on Earth-2 and while both of them wished they could be back home; they were now one step closer. In Kushina's lab where the treadmill was set up, everyone was gathered around to try out the Tachyon speed enhancer. It took a lot of work, calculations, reworking, and testing but it was ready. Gideon helped to speed things up but they were ready to have Naruto test it out.

Minato opened up the large case that contained the Tachyon speed enhancer matrix and smiled. It took a lot of work but it was here. A circular tachyon matrix incased in a square generation with four nodes to attach to Naruto.

"There she is. A thing of beauty." Dr. Wells commented, admiring his and Minato's work.

"That she is. Ready to test her out?" Minato asked his son.

"Let's do it." Naruto replied as he walked over to the treadmill.

"Hang on. You're gonna want this." Dr. Wells tossed him something which he caught and saw it was his Flash Ring. "Minato told me that you've been trying to work out a way to shrink your suit. I'm well versed in micro-technology."

Naruto looked at the ring and then at Wells. "Thank you, Dr. Wells."

Harrison nodded as Naruto slipped it on his right middle finger and clenched his fist. "Here we go." He held his fist out as the emblem on the ring glowed before it opened and shot out his Impulse suit which quickly grew to its normal size. Naruto sped forward and suited up in the blink of an eye.

"Ok, that is cool." Ronnie commented.

Minato input the control microchip before removing the Tachyon speed enhancer from the case and putting it on Naruto's chest so the Tachyon matrix lined up with his emblem. He made sure all four nodes were secure before doing anything else.

"Comfortable?" Minato wondered.

"I'm good." Naruto assured him, taking a deep breath, and getting onto the treadmill. "Let's do this."

Minato nodded and took out his tablet, connecting it to the speed enhancer. "Activating Tachyon matrix…now."

He pressed the button on his tablet and matrix began glowing blue along with emitting small pulses into Naruto's body. "Whoa…" Naruto felt energy rushing through his body like nothing before. It sort of felt like sensation you get when you jump into a cold pool after sitting in a hot tube. A little jarring but amazing. "I feel that."

"You ok, Naruto?" Ronnie asked and got a nod in response.

"I'm all right."

"That's the tachyon matrix powering up the speed force in your cells like a battery." Minato told him. "Gideon how are we looking?"

"Tachyon energy absorption rate at 25% and rising." Gideon replied.

"Ok, Naruto. Show us what you got." Dr. Wells told him.

"Gladly." Naruto smirked as his eyes flickered with lightning before he took off running on the treadmill. He actually moved so fast that he created a small sonic boom that shook the room and created a gust of wind that blew past everyone. He ran on the treadmill and with the Tachyon matrix enhancing his speed, he quickly shot past his old max of Mach 2.5.

"Wow, Naruto you are moving. How are his vitals?" Minato asked Kushina who checked.

"They're perfect." She smiled as they saw Naruto was essentially a speeding blur on the treadmill. Mach 2.5 blew past to Mach 4 and then to Mach 6 and kept rising. "Keep going, Naruto! Come on!"

And he did. He kept running and running, feeling more energy and speed course through his system. It was just like when he first got his powers. This speed was insane. No wonder Reverse-Flash was able to outpace him and Barry. He would have kept running until Kushina got an alert on her tablet that made her worried.

"Oh no."

Naruto skid a stop on the treadmill, burning the tread a bit as well as wafting the smell of burning rubber into the air. "What's wrong?"

Kushina pressed a few buttons on her tablet which activated a news broadcast on the nearby monitor. It was a story involving an Earth-2 criminal called Mirror Master. He was wearing this tacky orange and green suit and using some kind of weird gun to rob a bank and keep the police back. It seemed kind of standard to what a criminal would do but that's when things took a turn for the worse. Suddenly a black clad blur with a blue lightning trail zipped into the bank and stabbed his hand through Mirror Master's back and ripped his heart in two before snapping his neck. Whether it was for good measure or just sick pleasure was up for debate.

"Oh my god…" Ronnie muttered.

They watched as Zoom dropped Mirror Master's body to the ground like it was garbage before speeding around the bank and in a matter of seconds, all the hostages were gone and so was he. He then returned and grabbed the cameraman so the camera and the audience had an unobstructed image of him and his creepy mask.

"This message goes out to the speedster who has been running around my city, giving all of you hope for a better tomorrow. There is no hope…only Zoom. I have 21 hostages from the bank. If this speedster does not show himself in the next hour, I will kill one hostage every minute he doesn't show. Once I'm all out of hostages, I'll get more." Zoom threatened as Naruto glared at the evil speedster. He really was nuts. "Central City…heed my warning. If any police attempt a rescue, more bodies will litter your streets. And to this speedster, come alone or the hostages die. You have one hour."

Zoom then sped away before carving out some letters with fire on the street which the cameraman recorded. They read, Axium Building. Zoom was calling him out and was using hostages to make sure he did it.

"That guy is insane." Ronnie commented.

"Yes, he is." Dr. Wells replied before sparing a glance over at Naruto. The Tachyon matrix on his chest stopped glowing blue a few seconds later.

"Tachyon energy absorption completed."

"Thanks, Gideon." Naruto removed the matrix from his chest and handed it to his dad.

"You're not thinking of going out there, are you?" Minato asked him.

"I don't have a choice. Zoom will kill the hostages if I don't show and who knows how many more people afterward. I've got to go." Naruto told him.

"Naruto, we haven't had the chance to test your new speed and make sure your vitals are stable. We're in uncharted waters." Kushina begged him.

"It'll have to be a field test. Hopefully, the speed boost will be enough." Naruto clenched his fist before looking at Ronnie. "Ronnie, take the Icer and the speed dampening nanites and head to the rooftop over Agura street. I'll try and bring Zoom there. When you have the shot, take it."

"I got your back." Ronnie promised.

Naruto grabbed his goggles off the table and put them on his forehead before looking at his parents and giving them a smile of assurance. "I'll be back." He blew past them, super speeding out of the lab but stopping by his dad's lab to get some stuff before racing out of STAR labs and through Central City.

The police had set up a perimeter around the Axium building about a block away, evacuating all the civilians out of the area and bringing their big guns. Snipers were set up on the rooftops of nearby buildings and had clear line of sights on Zoom and the hostages on the roof of the Axium building but they couldn't do anything. All their previous attempts to stop Zoom ended with dead officers and if they risked going after him now then those hostages were dead. Then again if the speedster didn't show up then they were dead anyway.

News helicopters hovered around the Axium building, shining their spotlights on Zoom and the hostages along with broadcasting everything live for all of Central City. Mason Bridge, reporter for Central City News was in the helicopter with the pilot and his cameraman reporting on the situation.

"At this time, we've heard no word from the police on any plans to intervene and rescue the hostages. None of them seem to be harmed but Zoom is keeping a close eye on them and seems to be ignoring the perimeter the police have set up around the Axium building." Mason reported with the cameraman getting a good shot of Zoom and the hostages. Back at STAR labs, Kushina and Dr. Wells watched the news and hoped things worked out. "With no reported sighting of the Flash for nearly a month, this reporter just hopes that this mystery speedster shows up."

"Mason, over there!" The pilot tapped him on the shoulder and pointed to the east where they saw a crimson and white lightning trail move through the city.

"Adam, make sure you're getting this!" Mason told him. "This just in, it looks like a lightning trail is moving through the city, a red and white one and it is the new speedster that has been appearing in our city. It looks like he's aware of Zoom's message."

Said speedster sped through the city and past the police perimeter before running up the side of the Axium building and stopping on the roof across from Zoom and the hostages. The news and police helicopters shined their spotlights on him while news cameras broadcasted what he looked like to everyone. It also gave Zoom his first good look at the new speedster and his suit.

Naruto also got a good look at Zoom and his suit. He noticed how Zoom seemed to spark with blue electricity like something strange was happening with his speed but he put that in the back of his mind and focused on the hostages he had tied up behind him. "You wanted me…here I am."

"You're not afraid. You should be." Zoom stated.

"I've been afraid of a lot of things in my life…but never against a psycho in a mask." Naruto told him. "I've heard a lot about you, Zoom and what you've done. I'm not afraid of you."

"Brave words…which will be your last. Killing you will be a welcome challenge." Zoom super sped over to one of the female hostages, grabbed her by the neck and held her over the side of the building. "Soon, everyone in this city will know that you are no hero."

"And you are? Is that what you want, to make this city afraid of you? To make everyone fear for their lives." Naruto said. "Guess no one told you that fear has a way of biting back."

"Amusing. The Flash thought he could stop me and he never could." Zoom said as Naruto opened up his left hand slightly to reveal several high-tech pellets.

"I'm not the Flash." Naruto threw the pellets down and they created a huge flash of light that momentarily blinded Zoom. In that literal split second time he was distracted, Naruto fired a repulsor blast that knocked Zoom off the roof and caused him to drop the female hostage. He then super sped down and grabbed her, putting her by the police before doing the same with the other hostages on the roof.

He took the last one down and stopped on the street when he saw Zoom speeding after him so he met his charge. The two speedsters clashed in a bright flash of blue and white light and all the public and cameras could see was a spinning vortex of blue, crimson, and white lightning. What was really happening was a super speed battle between Zoom and Impulse. Zoom initially thought he would be able to easily take down this new speedster but that was proven false after Impusle blocked his grab and punched him in the face. That one punch almost froze him as he had never actually been hit by someone before but managed to recover and block the next punch, meeting it with his own to Impulse's stomach. He threw out another one but it was blocked and Impulse grabbed him by the arm and kneed him in the stomach twice. Zoom quickly broke free and punched him in the face and then the side twice before he got an elbow to the neck and a super speed right hook to the face that knocked him back and on and on the fight went.

The two speedsters separated from the fight that to them seemed to last for a few minutes but was actually a couple of seconds in real time. Naruto wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth while Zoom just glared at him, no visible blood on his body because of his suit but his face stung. He looked at Impulse and noticed some kind of thin armor covered his arms from the elbows to his hands. It's probably was what produced the energy beam that knocked him off the roof. Naruto noticed him look and held them up.

"Like I said, I'm not the Flash. Call me Impulse."

"Whatever you call yourself…you have speed. Impressive speed. All the more for me to take." Zoom declared.

"Only if you win and that'll happen over my dead, rotting corpse." Impulse told him.

"I was hoping you'd say that." Zoom remarked. "Soon you will know the sound of your own bones breaking."

"You've got to catch me first." Impulse then led Zoom on a speedster race/fight throughout the city.

The two speedsters were neck and neck the entire race with no one seeming to have an edge over the other. They raced down Adam's street, exchanging blows as Zoom landed a right cross to Impulse's face before they continued running when Impulse landed his own punch. Zoom led the race then and landed a right uppercut only for Impulse to catch up and duck a left straight and hit him with a gut shot. The race then took them down to the water front where Impulse uppercut Zoom as they raced down the street before he ducked under a roundhouse kick only for Zoom to elbow him in the back and throw him into a car. Impulse recovered, moving his head to dodge Zoom's stab and headbutted him in the face before they continued racing, even going over the water before looping back to the city. They raced up the side of opposite buildings before they jumped off and clashed together.

The news cameras didn't pick up any of that as all they managed to capture were the lightning trails throughout the city and that's it. At STAR labs, Dr. Wells and Kushina watched the fight and based on the lightning trails it seemed that Naruto was on an even playing field with Zoom. "He's keeping an even pace with Zoom. How are his vitals?" Dr. Wells asked.

"They're mostly stable but spike every now and then. This fight seems to be even. Let's just hope Naruto can stop him." Kushina told him.

The fighting continued as Impulse speed slammed Zoom into a wall and landed a vicious three punch combo to his stomach before landing a straight right to his face. He opened his palm and fired a repulsor blast which Zoom dodged at the last second. Zoom managed to grab his wrist, punch him in the gut and then twisted his arm behind his back before slamming Impulse face first into the wall and punching him in the side twice.

"Your tricks won't be able to save you."

"I've still got a few more up my sleeve." Impulse clenched the fist Zoom twisted behind his back and a sharp blade shot out from the forearm, stabbing the evil speedster in the side.

Zoom let out a guttural shout as his grip weakened, allowing Impulse to pull his arm free and throw an elbow back which hit Zoom in the neck. Zoom staggered back as Impulse slashed with the blade but narrowly missed by an inch so he push kicked him and the two continued their race. They raced through the city and engaged in another intense hand-to-hand fight around Wallow Park, near the church where the Flash statue was located. Impulse ducked under a roundhouse kick before punching Zoom in the back but getting hit in the side of the head by an elbow so he kicked out his left knee and pushed him back. Both speedsters then began racing around in a circle before both of them launched a lightning bolt at the other.

Both bolts clashed in the air and created an explosion and shockwave that knocked them both back and onto their backs from the force. Naruto groaned in pain as the explosion from the lightning clash only exasperated the wounds from his continuous fight throughout the city. He managed to push himself off the ground and onto one knee before spitting out some blood. After a deep breath, he stilled his nerves and got back to his feet to see that Zoom was looking a lot worse, so he super speed slammed him through a bench with enough force that he flew through the air and bounced off a tree.

"It's over, Zoom. You lost." Impulse told him, walking over to restrain him when he saw Zoom take out a needle from his boot and inject it into his thigh. He barely got a glimpse of the red liquid but once it was injected it did something. Zoom let out a roar as his blue lightning flared up again with more intensity.

"I never lose!" Zoom super speed slammed him back and he crashed through the Flash statue in the park. Whatever was in that needle seemed to power him back up. "And you will die by my hand."

"I'm not dead yet." Impusle super sped away with Zoom right on his tail. "Ronnie, get ready! We're on our way!"

"Copy that." Ronnie radioed back. He was situated on the roof of a building on Agura street with the Icer rifle and a bandolier of ammo. He quickly loaded the speed dampening nanite round into the Icer and waited about ten seconds before he saw the lightning trails close in.

Impulse stopped on the street as he and Zoom kept fighting. Zoom's sudden adrenaline boost not only powered him back up but made him more aggressive as he fought back more viciously. Zoom landed a left straight, a right cross and a knee to Impulse's gut before he got hit with an uppercut to the face, an elbow to his side and leg sweep. Impulse tried to blast him with another repulsor blast only for Zoom to grab his right arm and vibrate it as super speed, breaking the armor before forcibly popping it out of its socket.

"ARRRH!"

Impulse was the victim of several gut punches and then vicious left cross to the face before twisting Impulse's arm to make it hurt even more. "I told you, I'm the fastest man alive!" Zoom declared only for Impulse to hold his left palm up to his chest and fire a repulsor blast at point blank range. Said blast hit Zoom and sent him through crashing through a nearby store front.

"Not fast enough." Impulse told him as he grabbed his dislocated shoulder before gritting his teeth and forcibly popping it back in place with a loud and cringing crack. "SHIT!"

To say it hurt like hell is an understatement. Impulse then walked into the destroyed store to end this when something smashed into the back of his right leg, sending him down fast. Zoom stepped into view, holding a fire extinguisher which he then used to begin beating Naruto's right leg like a pinata. It was a gruesome showing of unhinged brutality for anyone if they were witnessing it but Zoom just kept smashing and smashing, making Impulse cry blood murder. There were the sounds of bone cracking, blood squirting along with a whole bunch of other unsavory sounds.

After about the 25th beating, Zoom stopped as Impulse was shouting loud obscenities and curses in pain and in anger. He brought the fire extinguisher up to bash Impulse's skull in when Ronnie fired the nanite dart only for Zoom to catch it. But instead of thinking he won, the dart then expelled a gas like an aerosol can. The gas was just the delivery system for the nanites which Zoom inhaled. If that wasn't bad enough, Impulse managed to gather enough strength to take out a spare speed dampening nanite from his belt and stabbed it into his left side really hard and with a twist so it hurt before firing another repulsor blast that knocked him through the store and out into the alley.

"Ronn—Ronnie…plasma round." Impulse whispered before passing out.

Ronnie quickly loaded a blue plasma round into the rifle and fired it at Zoom. The explosion and force it created hit Zoom and knocked him through the alleyway and through the wall into another building. After seeing he hit Zoom, he climbed down the alleyway ladder as fast as he could and rushed over to the destroyed store to check on Naruto. It wasn't a pretty sight as Naruto's right leg was a mess.

"Ronnie, Naruto's still alive. We need to get him back to STAR labs!" Kushina told him via the radio.

Tire squeals were heard outside as a STAR labs van stopped on the street outside the store and Minato got out as quickly as he could. Together, he and Ronnie lifted Naruto into the back of the van where Minato gave him some morphine and strapped him in. Ronnie saw the hole in the adjacent building he blasted Zoom into and quickly rushed over, intending to blast him yet again. Even if he was dead he would do it to make sure he was extra dead but once he got there, he didn't see a body. Just a lot of blood.

"Ronnie! We need to go!" Minato shouted as Ronnie rushed over and got into the van. They drove away just before the CCPD managed to arrive.

The second the van arrived at the service entrance, Kushina and Dr. Wells were there with a gurney for Naruto. They raced back to Kushina's lab as Minato and Dr. Wells monitored his vitals.

"His blood pressure is 90/60 and dropping fast!"

"Heart rate flickers at 60 BPS!"

"He's lost a lot of blood! We need an IV in him now!"

They quickly moved Naruto into Kushina's lab and hooked up to their EKG and got an IV line in his arm. "Don't give up, Naruto!" Ronnie shouted as he watched Minato, Kushina, and Dr. Wells go to work.

Dr. Wells administered the IV, Minato injected some more morphine before putting an oxygen mask over his mouth while Kushina used some scissors to cut away at the remnants of his suit on his right leg before using a scanner to see the extent of the damage. "We've got dozens of broken bones, fractures, and muscular damage all along the rectus femoris, vastus medialis, and vastus lateralis."

"Even with his rapid regeneration, he'll never have full mobility in that leg again." Harrison stated, looking at the scans.

"Yes, he will. Brace the leg and strap it down. We're doing an emergency leg reconstruction and putting the bones back into place before his rapid regeneration kicks in and the bones malform." Kushina told them both as she walked over to a cooler and pulled out a case containing vials of a green liquid.

"Your healing serum? Kushina, you said it wasn't ready." Minato told her.

"It wasn't before Naruto arrived. He managed to get it working and now it's gonna work for him." Kushina filled up a syringe and injected it into his IV. "Hang on, Naruto."

Back in the city, the police were still on the look out for any sign of Zoom or the new speedster but no luck. One paramedic was driving down the street on the way back to the hospital when he noticed a heavy blood trail that led into an alleyway so he stopped to check it out. That's when he saw a man face down on the ground.

"Sir?!" The paramedic rushed over with his bag of supplies and saw he had numerous cuts all over his body, third degree burns on his back, arms, and legs, along with a severe stab wound to his left side. "Don't worry, sir. You're gonna be fine."

The paramedic opened up his bag when he noticed the burnt remains of black fabric around him and saw one piece of black fabric had a lightning bolt on it. Before he could do anything else, the victim grabbed him by the throat and pulled him close so he could see the black eyes of Zoom. "Get…me…out…of…here…!"

Inside STAR labs in Kushina's laboratory, Ronnie was sitting in a chair next to Naruto's gurney. He had stayed there since the battle and only left to go to the bathroom. After a lot of work with Kushina being a genius and a gift, they managed to reset all the bones in Naruto's leg but using the healing serum is what did it. The healing serum was something that she was working on for years but never able to make work until Naruto helped her with it. His speedster biology and rapid regeneration along with Naruto's super genius helped her stabilize it. It accelerated the body's natural healing process to heal even the most dire of wounds and harshest of conditions. With a speedster, it would kick his rapid regeneration into overdrive and heal all the damage his leg went through.

They put his leg into a brace and tended to the other injuries he had. He would make it but hadn't woken up for five days. His body had been through a lot of trauma so rest was what he needed. Ronnie was in his chair, resting his head on his hand and listening to the steady beep of the EKG. Kushina walked into her lab and saw Ronnie still sitting next to Naruto.

"Ronnie, you should get some sleep." She told him.

"I'm fine. I'll sleep when I know Naruto's ok." He told her as she replaced his IV yet again. "How's he doing?"

"He should be all healed up. Let me check his leg." Kushina removed the brace and scanned his leg to see the bones had healed up nicely. You couldn't even tell there was severe damage. All that was there were some tiny, faded scars on his leg but those would fade away soon enough with his regeneration. "All back to normal."

"Thank god." Ronnie commented when they heard a gasp of air and the EKG spiked. Naruto had woken up.

"Naruto!" Kushina and Ronnie rushed to his side as Naruto removed the oxygen mask and looked around at his surroundings, confused as to what happened.

"What happened? Where am I?"

"Naruto, Naruto…" Kushina grabbed his hand and turned his face so he looked at her. "You're safe. You're back at STAR labs. Your father and Ronnie brought you back. You were really injured from your fight and we brought you back here to heal. You had some fractured ribs, a severe concussion, a lot of cuts and your leg was badly injured. Don't worry. It's all healed up now."

"My leg…" Naruto looked down and instead of seeing the bloody mess he remembered from the battle, he just saw his leg in what looked like a brace. He concentrated and managed to wiggle his big toe. "My leg…"

"There was a lot of nerve damage that was healed. You'll need to build up strength and use of your leg again to get back to a hundred percent but you're fine." Kushina smiled, tearing up a bit before kissing his head. "We thought we lost you again."

"I'm not that easy to get rid of." He assured her before looking over at Ronnie. "Thank you, Ronnie."

"Don't even mention it." Ronnie told him as he held his other hand. He was glad he was ok.

"What about Zoom?" Naruto asked.

"All we found was a lot of blood and burnt remnants of his suit but no body. I'm hopeful he died of blood loss but we couldn't find him." Ronnie answered.

"I just hope he's in as much pain as I am." Naruto stated, unaware of how right he was.

At Zoom's lair, the once mighty and feared speedster was lying in a gurney with bandages all over his face and body, his left arm in a cast and his right leg in a brace. All the damage from the fight and the plasma round he was hit with should have killed any normal person or metahuman but Zoom just barely survived. The paramedic he threatened took him back to his lair and patched him up before he snapped his neck. He was healing but the speed dampening nanites he was injected with had slowed his rapid regeneration to a fraction of what it was along with his speed. Until he was healed up and feeling better, he couldn't phase and eject the nanites from his body, even if that would work and it wouldn't. The new nanites Naruto and Minato made had latched onto his blood cells so they weren't going away anytime soon.

Zoom just glared at the TV monitor in anger and pure hatred as the news just kept reporting on the battle with no subsequent appearance from the black clad speedster. Many were quick to suspect that he was defeated.

"ARGHH!"

Zoom threw a cup at the TV in anger and shattered the glass. He hoped that speedster wasn't dead because he had plans for him. Plans that would make death feel like sweet relief. This wasn't over…not by a long shot.

Two weeks later…

Over two weeks had passed and no one had seen or heard of anything from Zoom since his fight with the mystery new speedster. The intense fight that made its way all over the city ended rather abruptly with no one, not even the police having an answer as to what happened. All they know was they found a lot of blood but no bodies. The hostages were safe so take a win when you can get it.

Inside STAR labs, Naruto was running on the treadmill yet again. After he woke up and rested a little longer along with his mother making sure he really was healed, he began training again to make sure he was back to normal. His right leg had fully healed and it took some time to get back full mobility in his leg after what happened but he did. It was slow at first but soon he was back to full strength and at his new top speed of Mach 10. Naruto had been running for about an hour at top speed before he finally slowed down and stopped.

"You're moving fast and your leg is all better." Minato told him as he handed him a bottle of water and a towel.

"Mach 10. Personal best but not enough." Naruto gulped down about two-thirds of the bottle before pouring the rest on his head. "Zoom was able to keep up with me the entire time and then something happened."

"What?" Minato wondered.

"When we were at the park and I had him on the ropes, he took out a syringe and injected himself with it. It seemed to…make him faster and give him his edge back." Naruto explained. "I've never seen anything like it."

"A speedster on drugs? Must be some drug if his metabolism doesn't burn through it." Minato commented. "Maybe that's why he's been so fast? He's been boosting his speed."

"Well, whatever he's doing I'm just glad the Tachyon speed enhancer worked. Without it, I don't want to imagine what would have happened." Naruto muttered when Ronnie, Kushina, and Dr. Wells walked into the lab.

"Neither do we." Kushina told him as she walked over and began giving him another checkup.

"Another one? I'm fine, now. Really. I'm all healed up." Naruto assured her. "This is just you being a protective and caring mother, isn't it?"

"Yup." Kushina replied, checking his vitals.

"You should have seen her when Mito got the Flu. She barely left her side." Minato remarked earning the stink eye from his wife.

"Did you get it?" Naruto asked Dr. Wells.

"We did. Managed to find one spot where the blood wasn't cleaned up. Enough for an analysis." Dr. Wells told him, putting the blood sample into the scanner. "Now its time to find out who Zoom really is."

Everyone waited for a few seconds as the computer analyzed the sample and did find traces of the speed force so Zoom was a real speedster but there was something else. "Interesting. There's some kind of cellular damage to the DNA." Dr. Wells explained.

"But wouldn't a speedster's natural regeneration fix that?" Kushina pointed out.

"Not necessarily if there's mitochondria damage but it would have had to be been caused by an external stimulus." Dr. Wells explained.

"Naruto said that he saw Zoom inject himself with something during their fight. It gave him back his speed and made him a little faster. Maybe that's it? Some kind of serum that makes him faster but with an unforeseen side effect and causing cellular damage on a molecular level." Minato theorized.

"I'm totally lost here but that makes about as much sense as it could." Ronnie commented.

"Gideon, run a predictive DNA analysis and fill in the gene sequence gaps. Then run a pattern match in the CCPD system." Naruto told her and she connected to the system and began doing so. "I have a feeling Zoom was a criminal long before he got his powers."

"Potential match found with 86% probability." Gideon announced and brought up the file and DNA of one Hunter Zolomon, renown Central City serial killer. His mug shot honestly made him look like a caveman but he had the eyes of a cold blooded psychopath.

"Oh my god." Kushina muttered.

"Hunter Zolomon. This just got a lot worse." Minato added.

"Who's Hunter Zolomon?" Naruto and Ronnie asked.

"Hunter Zolomon is a convicted serial killer. His mugshot was the last public photo of him. He's instantly recognizable to people here. Serial killers are an anomaly on this earth so a lot of media attention to this. There was a podcast and it was covered by the news for months." Dr. Wells explained. "When Hunter was 11, his father killed his mother right in front of him. His father was sent to prison, Hunter grew up in the foster care system. Years later he was convicted on 23 counts of murder."

"Something like that would earn the death penalty on our planet." Ronnie commented.

"Not here. After the trial, Hunter was sent to the Saint Perez Mental Asylum for the criminally insane and given daily electroshock therapy to cure him of his urgers and then faded from view." Dr. Wells added.

"Until the night of the Particle Accelerator explosion." Kushina said. "We thought piping the explosion underground would limit exposure but we were wrong. Dark Matter crept into the asylum and all we did was create a monster."

Naruto looked at Hunter's photo and knew exactly what he wanted to do next. "Gideon, facial recognition against the clearest image you can find of the Flash of Earth-2." Gideon ran the search and after finding a clear enough image of the Flash taken for the Central City newspapers, she ran a facial recognition and comparison between the two and got a hundred percent match. "I knew it. That's why there's so little about Jay Garrick or why he would expose his identity and everything else that wasn't adding up. They're the same person."

That little bombshell blew everyone's mind. "No, that's impossible. We've seen the Flash fight Zoom multiple times on the news." Minato stated.

"And we've seen a speedster able to be in more than one place at a time. I can do it. There is no Jay Garrick of this Earth and there is no Flash. It's all Zoom and now we know." Naruto stated.

"But why? Why would he create the Flash persona and protect the city for the past two years?" Kushina asked.

"He's nuts. Who knows what's going on in that slaughterhouse of a head? But now we know. His edge is gone and I know some people who can help us." Naruto looked at Ronnie who nodded. "Set up the Tachyon matrix for one more speed boost. It's time we head home."

Zoom's top speed after Velocity 9 injection: Mach 11

One reviewer mentioned that I only have shown Naruto's speed and never showed Barry or Thawne's speed. For that I apologize. From now on, I'll try to list the speed of all speedsters in that show up in a chapter to help with any confusion.

I hoped you guys liked the chapter. Believe me, this was a lot of thinking, planning, rewriting, and rethinking as there was a lot of potential and a million different directions the story could have gone. But I think you guys will like where it's going. Naruto and Ronnie have been stuck on Earth-2 and have had their own share of adventures and issues to get back. The story only gets more interesting from here on. At the moment, they've been stuck there for about two months now.

Just to point out, the reason Gideon doesn't know who Zoom is or his Earth-2 Secret identity is because this version of Gideon comes from Thawne's future. To clarify, Thawne brought Gideon back and most of her information is from Thawne's present and past which slightly changed as we saw happen in one instance where the newspaper changed, and Naruto's destiny altered a bit. But that future largely didn't change drastically until Crisis in 2019 which is when everything was reset. Gideon knows a lot but, in the future, she came from, Naruto and Barry's adventures in Earth-2 were different and they didn't encounter Zoom, only Earth-2 Harrison Wells and Jesse. I know it's confusing but it's time travel and the multiverse so it's confusing by nature. If there are any questions, just send me a PM or leave it in a review and I'll do my best to answer them.

Naruto has faced Zoom and while he didn't win the fight and nearly lost his leg, Zoom didn't win either and has his own wounds to deal with. I hoped you liked the fight, I tried to make it brutal and harsh but entertaining. Imagine the Flash and Reverse-Flash fight during the final part of the Earth-X crossover for a reference. Everyone around them is slowed as they speed around and exchanged blows. It's a pretty fair depiction of most super speed fights.

With the speed enhancement, Naruto's next step is to get back home to Earth-1. He should be fast enough to open up a breach so let's do it. Only it doesn't work. Did you really think it would? Next chapter, It's time to travel the Multiverse. Until next time.
