Here is Chapter 13 of the Crimson Speedster. Naruto's adventures through the multiverse have shown him a lot. He's smarter, faster, but can't make it back home to Earth-1 so he heads back to Earth-2 and just in time. Zoom is still out there and more determined than ever to put Naruto in the ground for what he did and the embarrassment he dealt him. Things don't go as planned and Naruto finds himself in a situation he never thought was possible. Enjoy!

Everything I grew up believing in was a lie. My parent's work, Dr. Wells, all of it was not at all what I thought to be. The day I was struck by lightning, it restarted my life and I protected my city with the help of my friends and partner, the Flash. Over the course of a year, I learned the truth about my parents and their work that got them killed. I avenged their death, but the mastermind is still out there. Unfortunately, things got even more complicated as Dr. Wells turned out to be the Reverse-Flash, an evil Speedster from the future who came back in time to exact revenge against Barry but in the process, the people he hated ended up being his ultimate lifeline home. In his final act, Central City was nearly destroyed and, in an effort, to save it, my friend and I were thrown into an alternate world. With no way back now, I will use my speed to help the people of Earth-2 until I find a way home. My name is Impulse, and this is my story.

The next chapter of his journey

Back on Earth-1…

Central City October 2015

It had been about six months since the singularity incident in Central City and the city was doing better than before. FEMA was still doing their study on the sudden emergence of the black hole over the city, even going so far as to take a tour and in depth look at the ARC Reactor and the Particle Accelerator ring. That was a cause for concern but Barry, Cisco, and Gaara made sure everything was spotless and there were no metahumans in the containment cells since STAR labs began producing and selling anti-metahuman power dampener cuffs and generators for the police and Iron Heights. Cisco and Gideon made sure that the FEMA people wouldn't find anything they weren't supposed to. The FEMA teams spent the entire day touring STAR labs and were given information for their investigation with Gideon keeping an eye out for corporate espionage. During initial news reports, the FEMA head had gone on record that there was no proof of any kind of experiment or foreign residue that would put STAR labs as the cause for the black hole appearance but they were still investigating. At the moment, they suspected that a metahuman fight between the Flash and an unknown meta may have been the cause and given everything that has happened in the city with metahumans it was a viable alternative and not entirely wrong. At the very least it took the negative spotlight off of STAR labs.

Gaara, Cisco and the others were kept busy pushing STAR labs forward with new deals and such while also helping the city through charitable donations and such that would have made Naruto proud. Barry himself was pushing overtime by helping rebuild businesses and buildings damaged or destroyed from the singularity. Still, with all they did the lost felt by Naruto and Ronnie's sacrifice was still palpable, especially to their loved ones.

Linda Park was at the condo she and Naruto had. It was their home and now…it was just home to her and Kurama. Kurama was laying down on the couch next to a pile of pillows and blankets with a coffee table that had a bottle of wine on it. Linda had returned from work and quickly changed into her sweats before plating her Thai takeout on a plate along with Kurama's dinner which was some fruit and meat. She walked over and put the plates on the coffee table where Kurama slowly got up and nibbled at his food while she walked over to the TV and put in a DVD. She placed the case down which was Supernatural Season 9 and grabbed the remote before sitting down on the couch, putting a blanket around her, and then digging into her Thai food. Linda was an avid fan of the series and had all the DVDs. Despite it being on Netflix she preferred watching the DVD and even though she had seen the season she was rewatching the whole show.

Unbeknownst to her, God was watching her in the living room. He was doing a quick walk around earth which he does more often then you'd think and watched humans along with the rest of his creations and would occasionally perform minor miracles. Nothing earth shattering like giving someone his powers or guiding another Noah before a new flood. Just minor stuff. The innocent single mother of 3 who worked two jobs and would have been in a fatal car crash had she not been delayed in traffic by a minute. Small things like that. God looked at Linda and at the TV that was on the main menu for the Supernatural DVD before he snapped his fingers and vanished.

The TV fritzed for a brief moment as Linda started episode 1 and sipped her wine. Kurama continued to nibble at his meal while Linda ate her takeout and watched her show. She finished her food just at the end of the first episode and finished her wine around the midpoint of episode 2 before she went up and washed the dishes. She finished the dishes and poured herself another cup of wine when she heard some yipping. Kurama perked up on the couch and rushed over to the TV and was yipping at the screen like he would if he saw a squirrel.

"What's wrong, buddy?" Linda walked over and looked at the screen to see it playing a moment from the episode. Sam and Dean arrived at the dead, abandoned town that Abadon told them to be at in order to save their friends that she captured. She had seen this episode before and while it wasn't her favorite it wasn't her more hated either. Nothing seemed wrong so she thought that maybe Kurama wanted to go outside and play but then when Sam and Dean busted into the diner she couldn't believe what she saw.

Sam and Dean kicked in the diner door with their pistols ready to save Irv and Tracy but they had an unexpected newcomer in Naruto or an actor that looked exactly like him. "I don't remember this being part of the episode." Linda muttered as she let it play.

"Irv, you ok?" Dean asked him.

"Yeah, we're good. Kid found us and set us free." Irv pointed to the newcomer.

"Who are you?" Sam asked and this Naruto lookalike seemed to be processing their arrival before he answered.

"I'm Naruto." He introduced him.

Linda dropped the remote in stunned shock and couldn't believe it. That was Naruto. He just said that was his name. There he was, standing there in the diner wearing some new clothes and had a small backpack on with Sam and Dean Winchester.

What the hell was going on?

The next day…

Barry stood in the cortex of STAR labs looking at his suit on the mannequin display and at the empty mannequin next to it that would usually hold Naruto's suit. He was all alone in the cortex and by choice. Sure, Cisco, Gaara and his siblings were around and did a lot of work with the company but not with Team Flash. They were busy with work as the acquisition of Stagg Industries as a STAR labs subsidiary helped lighten the load but barely. Barry helped as well, specifically with making sure that they could still produce raw Starium to ship to Wayne Enterprises where it was refined and distributed. Since STAR labs was the only place with an active ARC reactor it was the only place that Starium could be made. Recent shipments to Wayne Enterprises had steadily increased since its public reveal and after refinement and use in Wayne Enterprises products, orders have been coming in from other companies looking for Tantalum replacements. Suffice to say that a man-made element that could do the same thing for microchips and transceivers that a natural element could made some tremors. Already certain mining groups and processors abroad weren't very happy.

Even though Barry helped out with stuff requiring multiple hands, he stayed solo in everything regarding the Flash. Gideon was still connected to STAR labs and was able to tap into satellite feeds and police radio frequencies to let him know if there was an emergency. If there ever was one he would go handle it and not just police emergencies. He worked overtime to help rebuild damaged businesses and buildings from the Singularity but he just handled it solo. Not for a lack of trying from Cisco or Iris but Team Flash was kind of disbanded and he wasn't the only one. Caitlin left STAR labs and went to work for Mercury labs after Ronnie and Naruto died and no one really blamed her for that but she hadn't spoken to anyone since then.

The team was fractured and it didn't seem like it was gonna come back together.

[Beeping]

Barry turned his head to a monitor alerting him that something was happening. "CCPD have reported a robbery at the Central City National Bank on Blecker Boulevard." Gideon informed him.

"Thanks, Gideon." Barry grabbed his suit and quickly changed before speeding out of the building. As he did, his speed knocked over some envelopes from Weathersby & Stone. It was the law firm that represented STAR labs and Dr. Wells. The letters were addressed to Barry and had the word urgent stamped on them. As Barry was running he couldn't help but think about what had happened.

'My name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man alive. When I was a child, I saw my mother killed by something impossible. My father went to prison for her murder. Then an accident made me the impossible, and I became the Flash. I used my powers to find the man responsible for my mother's death. I thought I would finally get justice for my family, but I failed. And I wasn't the only one to pay the price for my failure. It's been six months since the Singularity. I'm on my own now. Decided it's better that way. Keeps the people I care about safe. There's only one thing I can do now. I run.'

At the CCPD, Detective Joe West finished filing some paperwork on a case he was working on and walked over to put it into the outgoing pile to head to the DA's office. That's when the TV turned back to Channel 52 news after a commercial break. It was the usual with some human interest stories, weather, and then sports before it moved into news regarding STAR labs which was actually a weekly occurrence. STAR labs being in Central City gave Channel 52 News, CCPN and other local news outlets plenty of steady work.

More and more STAR labs expanded in Central City. They owned STAG industries now which was made a subsidiary of STAR labs and was a platform from which they could be used to produce the myriad of patents and products that STAR Labs, specifically, Naruto had saved on files. Literally dozens of projects with cutting edge technology. Already STAG industries was rolling out its first batch of holographic smart workstations and hard light holographic projectors to various companies for a good chunk of money. The ARC reactor was still purring and the ARC reactor fueled power cells and new battery technology was a revolution in the tech industry. Already STAR labs had erased the competition with something incredibly advance. New STAR labs smart watches were in anticipation for an October sale date with Gaara signing deals with data and cellular carriers. Apple and Samsung were starting to feel the heat of competition. Naruto's Oxyhydrine bacteria was donated to various international green and eco-friendly charity groups so clean up and environmental repair was getting more work done. There was even a big news report on how an eco-charity group used STAR labs Oxyhydrine bacteria to clean up massive landfills and otherwise garbage-filled areas in India, South America and throughout the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean. The STAR Labs tower currently being built in Central City had its solid foundations built so now work would be done on its interior and the renovation work in Los Angeles and New York was finished so those old warehouses were ready to be turned into STAR labs campuses and ARC reactor stations. And with the STAR labs/Wayne Enterprises partnership, both companies and its employees were making plenty of money with a portion given to various charitable foundations.

Of course, with the good news came some not-so good news and questions. A lot of rival tech companies and such weren't doing as well because of STAR labs advancement. Those were mostly companies with financial backers or shareholders who had serious investments in the energy and mining industries that Naruto's breakthroughs hurt. The mining and element companies especially since they were the ones taking a beating because of STAR lab's Starium. Companies based out in countries where Tantalum was mined had been seeing a steady drop in profits and stock prices since Naruto's reveal of Starium months ago and they kept going down. Companies no longer needed to pay them for Tantalum when they could get Starium which could be used the same exact way for making microchips and such but they didn't need to fay fees or inflated prices for shipping when it could be manufactured in the US. And despite their slander campaigns, Starium worked just as well as Tantalum did at everything it was made for which only made them more angry. Companies in South America, Africa, and China where Tantalum was mined were taking hits. And it wasn't just them as the major faces in regular energy like oil were getting nervous. ARC reactor technology was their biggest competitor and they were lucky that there was only one city at the moment where an ARC reactor was actually built but they were gearing up for war to stop that.

Joe watched the news and saw it shift to an old videocall interview Channel 52 news did with Naruto about everything but the news reporter did point out that the interview was done via videocall because Naruto said he couldn't make it to the studio. He was too busy. That was something only Team Flash and family knew as it wasn't really Naruto but it was Gaara using Gideon and Cisco's facial modification software so it seemed like Naruto was answering and doing all those interviews. Naruto wanted Gaara to keep the company running but they had been doing the same thing for the past six months so a part of them were wondering when they would have to lift the veil and admit to the public that Naruto was gone, just like Dr. Wells. That was a field day for the news as they reported that Dr. Harrison Wells died during the singularity event. Everything he owned including STAR labs was given to Naruto so he now owed it all but he wasn't even here.

After the replay of the old videocall interview the news then went on to highlight the Flash day celebration happening later this week in honor of the city's scarlet speedster and his efforts in saving the city from the black hole. The Mayor was even going to offer him the key to the city. Joe felt a buzz in his pocket so he took out his phone and saw it was a message from Iris telling him to head to STAR labs right away. It was an emergency so he grabbed his jacket and left. Barry was up in his lab finishing some paperwork for the various cases he had when he saw someone walk into his lab. It was a man in a business suit but he didn't recognize him.

"Mr. Allen. Barry Allen?"

"Yeah." Barry stood up as the man walked in.

"I'm Greg Turk, an attorney at Weathersby and Stone. I don't usually make house calls but I've been trying to get in touch with you for several months."

"Yes, Yeah, I'm really sorry about that. I've just uh…been really busy with police work."

"I understand but the reason I came to see you is because of something Harrison Wells left to you as part of his living trust. I would have handed it to you at his funeral but I didn't see you there. For you…" Greg Turk removed a flash drive from his jacket and handed it to Barry. "He left this."

"What is it?" Barry wondered.

"A video message drafted by Dr. Wells."

"What's on it? Have you seen it?" Barry questioned.

"No. He was very specific. It was only to be watched by you. The device will send me a notification after you've viewed it and at that point out business will be concluded." Greg Turk told him before leaving. Barry looked at the flash drive in his hands and wondering what was on it. He wasn't sure what Thawne left him and a part of him didn't want to even watch it. He was pulled out his thought when his computer alerted him of a presence in STAR labs. He put the flash drive in his pocket and super sped back to STAR labs. He arrived at the cortex to see Cisco, Joe, Iris, and Professor Stein.

"What are you guys doing here?" Barry asked them.

"Don't know. We were just told to be here." Joe told him.

"By whom?" Barry asked when Linda walked in with Kurama walking next to her.

"Me. I called them here because there is something you guys need to see because I saw this last night and I've spent all that time and this morning trying to figure out exactly what is going on and I'm starting to lose my mind." Linda told them. She sounded frantic and a little manic but not fully psycho. More like there was something that they really needed to hear.

"Linda what's going on?" Barry asked her but she didn't answer and put a disk into the computer which was put on the big screen. They saw the main menu for a Supernatural DVD.

"You brought us here to watch a TV show?" Professor Stein wondered.

"Just watch." Linda brought up the second episode of season 9 and quickly sped up to the point in the episode when Sam and Dean arrived at the abandoned town to rescue their friends. Those familiar with the show recognized this but then when the brothers' stormed into the dinner holding their friends they saw Naruto.

"What on earth?" Joe muttered as the others were equally surprised. The scene continued to play out and they watched Naruto help Sam and Dean and even use his powers against Abadon. Then at a gas station Naruto was able to talk to Sam and Dean and fully explain what was going on and he explained that he was a multiversal traveler.

"Does Naruto have a secret twin we don't know about?" Cisco wondered.

"No, ok Naruto's an only child and it's not just some actor. And it's only on my DVD that this happens. I bought other DVDs and they didn't have this and neither did episodes on streaming sites. I even checked the end credits at the end of the episode and it credits Naruto in his full name. So, can someone please tell me what is going on?" Linda asked them and only got looks of confusion.

"Um…"

"Uh…"

"Maybe…"

"Well…"

Iris, Joe, Barry, and Professor Stein were at a loss for words as to what was going on and what they just saw. "Yeah, I don't have an explanation." Cisco told her.

"When did you notice this happen?" Joe asked her.

"Last night. I just finished eating dinner and was doing dishes. Kurama started yipping at the TV when it came to this part and that's what happened. I mean, I thought I was losing my mind and just seeing him but then Naruto says he's a multiversal traveler and mentions me by name and the fact that actor who plays Sam Winchester is on my freebie list. I don't know how but that's him. It has to be." Linda told them. Many of them shared an uneasy look as this could be seen as a grieving loved one grasping for straws but that footage wasn't grasping for straws. They had no idea what was going on.

"Look, Linda. We all want to believe that Naruto is alive but how? And why would he show up on a Supernatural DVD?" Iris asked her.

"I don't know but I know Naruto. He's crafty, smart and doesn't give up. If there is even a chance he's still alive than I know he'd find a way." Linda told them.

"And we agree, Linda but the fact is we don't have a lot to go on." Barry told her.

"Perhaps the DVD and video evidence might be able to give us some much needed information?" Professor Stein suggested and Gideon's holographic head appeared on the workstation.

"I've taken the liberty of researching the series and found that Ms. Park's is the only one that contains this abnormality. An in-depth analysis of the DVD and its contents and my scans picked up an unusual energy signature but one I am unable to identify." Gideon informed them.

"So that energy signature could be the reason for this whole Mandela effect in real life." Cisco suggested as he walked over to the computer and ejected the disc. "Question is what is it and where did it…"

Cisco stopped talking when he touched the disc because everything around him started to blue shift and warp. The others were gone and he wasn't even in STAR labs anymore. He looked around and wasn't sure where he was as he was in some kind of blue light tunnel with things moving around him faster then he could process them. It was all a blur. That's when he turned around and saw Naruto running at super speed through the blue light tunnel. He had the same lightning trail as he remembered but was dressed the same as he saw on the Supernatural episode.

"Naruto?! Is that you?!" Cisco shouted and tried to get his attention. "Naruto?!"

"Cisco. Cisco! CISCO!"

[Gasp]

Cisco's vision returned to normal and he gasped for air before he doubled over as he felt like his head just went through meat grinder.

"Cisco!" Barry and Joe steadied him and put him in a chair.

"What happened?" Cisco asked them, still reeling from whatever just happened to him.

"We were hoping you could tell us. You went to grab the DVD and then you just froze." Joe told him. "Are you all right?"

"I saw him." Cisco said and they looked at him in confusion. "I saw Naruto. He's alive."

Iris walked out of the adjoining med lab with some Advil and a bottle of water as Professor Stein finished using one of the scanning instruments and medical tools to check Cisco. "Here." Iris handed Cisco the Advil.

"Thanks." Cisco took them with the water. "Gideon, how am I?"

"You're just suffering a minor over stimulation of your cerebral cortex brought on by your vision. I've scanned no damage to your brain although your sodium level is a little high so I would suggest a change in your diet by cutting out the excess Big Belly Burger and Pizza Pockets." Gideon told him.

"Duly noted." He replied.

"So, what happened to Cisco, Gideon?" Barry asked her.

"When Cisco came into contact with the disc it triggered an activation of his powers and triggered a Dimensional awareness vision." Gideon answered.

"I'm sorry, can someone please explain what that means?" Joe was confused.

"Gideon can you elaborate please?" Linda asked her.

"Of course. Cisco's recent vision and his past vision are tied to his powers. He is what is known as a Viber. Vibers are metahumans who have the ability and a link to harness the energy of the multiverse granting them unique abilities. One such ability categorized as Dimensional awareness which enables the user to perceive various events throughout space and time." Gideon explained.

"Ok, that didn't really help that much." Joe pointed out.

"Astonishing. If what Gideon is saying is true then Cisco's powers are a definitive proof the Many-World theory, that interaction with alternate worlds is plausible." Professor Stein said.

"I'm gonna be honest, I don't understand what is going on here." Joe admitted.

"Perhaps some visual aid would be beneficial." Gideon then projected a holographic map of various interconnected earths each labeled with a number.

"Whoa…" Iris muttered in astonishment.

"Gideon, what are we looking at?" Barry asked her.

"This is the map of the multiverse created in the future by Naruto along with the helpful aid of individuals such as Mr. Ramon and Professor Stein, among others. At the moment of its creation, they organized and categorized 52 known earths in the multiverse but estimated that there are likely more than a billion others in existence yet to be discovered." Gideon explained. "You all reside on the Earth categorized as Earth-1, ironically at the center of the multiverse. All of these earths exist in the same place in space but each have a unique vibrational trans-dimensional frequency that keep them hidden and isolated from one another."

"Incredible. Gideon has just proved decades of scientific theory on the Multiverse theory as well as exotic matter. Astonishing." Professor Stein had the biggest smile on his face as he was just told the scientific breakthrough of the century.

"Ok, I'm still confused." Joe pointed out.

"Bless your heart." Cisco said to him so Professor Stein walked over to the multiverse hologram.

"Perhaps some further explanation. As Gideon just explained, we reside here on Earth-1. This is our planet, our history, everything we hold near and dear. But on these other earths exist other versions of ourselves nearly identical to ours or not-so identical and they all exist at the same time giving us endless alternatives to what we have here. For example, the Joe West on Earth-2, your doppelganger, he might not be a detective. He could be a Nobel Prize-winning physicist. And Mr. Allen is the Flash on this earth but over there he could be an electrician." Professor Stein explained and they were intrigued with the possibilities. "And there are other earths that could explore what if questions we've always had. What if President Kennedy was never assassinated? What if the dinosaurs never went extinct? What if…monkeys evolved into the dominant species of the planet? Endless possibilities all out there but they exist at a unique plane of energy that make it so we can't see or interact them. Except for one of us as it seems Mr. Ramon's unique metahuman powers give him a link to that unique energy."

"So, Cisco's powers aren't just visions but instead give him a link into other worlds. Ok, that's fine. But how could he see Naruto? He's dead right?" Joe pointed out and they all gave it some thought. "I'm not trying to ruin the mood here guys but we all saw the giant blackhole up in the sky. Naruto and Ronnie didn't make it back. They're gone."

"So, it could a doppelganger of Naruto that Cisco saw?" Iris suggested.

"Ok, but then what about the DVD? I mean, you all saw it. It's our Naruto. He sounds the same, he mentions us by name and everything." Linda reminded them. "Maybe he isn't dead after all and he's trapped on some…parallel earth?"

"Gideon, is that possible?" Barry asked her.

"It's a possibility. The singularity over Central City did contain Trans-dimensional energy so in theory when it was closed Naruto and Mr. Raymond could have been pushed through to another earth. If he is alive and on another earth, I would be unable to contact him as my software and programming does not stretch beyond this earth." Gideon said, giving them hope that Naruto could actually be alive just trapped somewhere else.

"If Naruto's alive then we need to find him." Linda told them.

"Hold on, Linda. We all want to believe he's out there and you're right. He's a fighter and would do everything he could to stay alive but we're going on a hope and a prayer here. We don't even know if that's really him. We need more information." Joe told her as Cisco looked at the DVD.

"Then let's get some." Cisco walked up and touched the DVD again but nothing happened. He just stood there and wasn't hit with another vision. "Nothing's happening. Why is nothing happening? Gideon, what's wrong?"

"Your dimensional awareness visions need certain triggers to activate and you don't have full control of your abilities so the odds of triggering another vision at this moment is low. I would advise making some adjustments to the ultra-frequency stimulant goggles you used to recover your visions several months ago." Gideon projected some technical blueprints for them to follow. "Once these adjustments are made I believe controlling your visions would be much easier."

"Looks doable. Professor Stein, care to help?" Cisco asked him.

"My pleasure." Professor Stein replied.

"I'll let you know the second they're ready." Cisco told Linda and she nodded.

"All right. I'm gonna go tell Gaara and then Tsunade and Shizune. They deserve to know what's going on." Linda said before leaving. Cisco and Professor Stein went to the workshop and began working on the upgrades to Cisco's goggles. Barry then walked out of the cortex and over to the Cosmic Treadmill room for a moment alone. Iris saw him leave so she walked over to her dad.

"Dad, you need to talk to him." Iris said to Joe.

"About what?" Joe asked her.

"About stopping this lone wolf thing. He's been pushing us back for months but no more. If Gideon and Linda are right and Naruto is really out there then we're all needed. Barry can't do this alone anymore." Iris told him and Joe sighed in exhaustion. He knew she was right.

"That's his plan and I don't know how to talk him out of it. At this point, I'm just trying to not push him further away."

"Well, maybe Barry has been so successful at pushing you, me, and everyone else away because we keep letting him. Let's not let him." Iris told him. Joe nodded and decided to go talk to him. He walked in and saw Barry looked at the Cosmic treadmill. He was deep in thought about something.

"I came in here because I wanted to be alone." Barry told Joe.

"You've been alone for the past six months, Barry. I figured seeing everyone here today would have been kick you needed but I can see your comfortable staying in your little bubble." Joe remarked. "Iris is right. For the last six months I've given you your space to work all this out, come back to us but no more training wheels. We're not going away just because you say so or you stop letting us in. We're as much invested in everything going on here as you are. And if there really is a chance that Naruto is out there then we all need to come together to bring him home, Barry."

"He wouldn't even be lost if it wasn't for me." Barry said. This is where Joe realized what Barry was going through. He was experiencing survivor's guilt over what happened with Thawne and the singularity. He blamed himself for what happened to Eddie, Ronnie, and Naruto.

"You want me to tell you it wasn't your fault? It can't. It was. But guess what? You weren't the only person making decisions that day. All of the rest of us were there that day too. Eddie, Ronnie, and Naruto…they chose to help you stop Wells, and stop that—"

"Singularity." Barry said.

"Singularity thing. It's on all of us, Barry. So, stop with this hogging all the blame and regret. We all have to live with it. Move on." Joe told him. "I know that you've done all you can to try and rebuild this city after what happened but that's not gonna help you. You should start trying to rebuild things that really matter…because you're not the only person who's been hurting."

Joe took Barry's work to heart and decided to go see Linda. She had gone to the group home that Tsunade and Shizune ran. He walked in and saw some of the kids hanging around in the living room playing games or watching TV. They recognized him and waved so he waved back. That's when he saw the small shrine they had set up for Naruto in the foyer. There were pictures of him and some candles set up in remembrance when he heard talking coming from the kitchen.

"So, Naruto was transported through the black hole into a world about your favorite TV Show?" Tsunade asked Linda as she poured her, Shizune and herself some coffee as the trio sat around the kitchen table.

"Not exactly but clearly something happened to my Supernatural DVD. Gideon did say the multiverse was real so maybe Naruto's trapped on a world like Supernatural. It still doesn't explain how my DVD changed but Cisco saw it in his vision and Gideon said it's a possibility." Linda just interlaced her hands with one another and breathed a heavy sigh of both relief and desperation. "I know how crazy this sounds…"

"A little and if it was coming from anyone else it would but we know you wouldn't make something like this up." Tsunade assured her and Linda smiled.

"If Naruto really is out there in the multiverse then how are you gonna find him?" Shizune asked.

"I don't know. But if he is out there…then I'm willing to do whatever it takes to help him get home." Linda promised.

"Helps that she won't do it alone." They heard and saw Barry standing by the doorway.

"Barry. Hi…" Tsunade and Shizune smiled and were happy to see him. Linda was too but she wasn't expecting to see him here. "It's been a while."

"Yeah, it has. Sorry to just show up but I was in the area and wanted to drop in. See how everyone was doing." He said. "Can I speak to Linda for a second?"

"Sure thing. We've got to make sure the kids are getting their homework done." Tsunade and Shizune get up and leave so Barry and Linda can have some privacy.

"Twice in the same day. Guess things really are changing." Linda pointed out, being not-so subtle with Barry. Something Barry picked up and breathed out a sigh heavy with regret.

"Linda I know that I've been…distant for a while…"

"A while? It's been months, Barry." She reminded him. "Six months since that day. Six months being alone with Naruto gone and I could have used someone there. The others were there but not you. When I needed you the most…"

Linda started to crack as her eyes started to well up and her voice started to break. Barry walked over and enveloped her into a hug which she melted into. He held her close and rubbed his hands along her back, doing his best to soothe her as she cried. The two friends had a collective moment of mourning, crying, and healing which was long overdue. "I know…I know. I was an idiot." He said to her.

"That's nothing new, Barry. You being an idiot is just part of who you are now." Linda said but the chuckle she had at the end showed she didn't hold a serious grudge against him.

"If I had let Naruto take the lead then we wouldn't even be in this mess." Barry told her. "He was the smarter out of the two of us, not even taking into consideration his growing brain. He warned me against listening to Thawne but I wouldn't listen. It's my fault everything happened. I'm sorry, Linda. I should have saved him, Linda. I'm—I'm so sorry."

"Barry, I know that you did everything you could have. And Naruto knows that too. No matter what you would have done, Naruto would have backed you up no matter what. No one forces him to do anything. He helped you because deep down he knew that saving your mother meant everything. Despite what happened, you and he were like brothers and sure, you made a mistake and Naruto wanted nothing to do with you. Hell, I wanted nothing to do with you for a long time but no matter what…you two were like family. And if there's one thing I know about Naruto is that no matter what…he will always go above and beyond to protect those close to him." Linda assured him and their little talk gave both of them the catharsis that they so desperately needed. They both wiped away the tears that were forming around their eyes and smiled.

"Linda, I promise you…if Naruto is out there then we are going to do everything we can to get him back. No matter what." Barry swore.

"I know. But there's one other person we need with us." Linda said and Barry knew who she was referring to so the duo made their way to Mercury Labs. They signed in as visitors and went to the lab where Caitlin was working. Linda knocked on the door to get her attention so she could see her and Barry. "Hey, Caitlin."

"Linda. Barry." Caitlin was surprised to see them both here. "What are you two doing here?"

"Sorry, I should have called or something. I just—I wanted to see you." Barry said.

"It's been a while." Caitlin said.

"Yeah, I know." Barry took a moment to start when Linda walked over to Caitlin and hugged her. "I should have reached out sooner but as Linda has pointed out…I'm an idiot."

"So, nothing's changed?" Caitlin playfully joked and the trio managed to chuckle a bit.

"Caitlin, I'm so sorry. Ronnie died trying to save me and I should have saved him. I'm—I'm so sorry."

"Barry, I know that you did everything you could. It wasn't your fault. I don't blame you for Ronnie's death. I blame myself." Caitlin told them.

"Why?" Barry questioned.

"When Ronnie first became Firestorm he asked me to leave Central City and go somewhere that we could have a normal life. And I said no." Caitlin recounted, tearing up a bit. "I couldn't leave STAR labs, Dr. Wells…you and Naruto behind. If I had gone with him, Ronnie would still be alive. Being at STAR labs just made me think of that every single day."

Barry reached into his back pocket and took out a handkerchief. "Here."

"Oh, you carry a handkerchief now? What are you, 80?" Linda asked.

"It's come in handy." He admitted, handing it to her when something fell out to the floor. It was a flash drive.

"What's that?" Linda asked him.

"Ah, it's uh…apparently, in the case of his death, Wells—Thawne had some kind of living will. He left this to me." He told them.

"And you haven't watched it, have you?" Linda said.

"No. No, I've…been too afraid." He admitted.

"What if we watch it together?" Caitlin offered and that seemed to help.

Barry plugged in the flash drive into Caitlin's monitor and a message began playing. Dr. Wells/Eobard Thawne appeared on the screen in front of a camera recording the message and removed his glasses. Seeing him again brought back a lot of negative emotions for Barry, Linda, and Caitlin but they toughed through it.

"Hello, Barry. If you're watching this, that means something has gone horribly wrong. I'm dead and the last 15 years have been for nothing. Bummer. 15 years. You know, when I realize that in all those years helping raise you, we were never truly enemies, Barry. At least, not the two of us. I'm not the thing you hate. And so, in a moment of generosity, I want to give you the thing that you want most. It won't matter. You'll never be truly happy, Barry Allen, trust me. I know you. But do you know the real me?"

They watched as Thawne took out some kind of future device from the side and attached some kind of IV line into his arm. He pressed a button and then grimaced in pain as his face began to morph on screen. Barry, Linda, and Caitlin watched as Dr. Wells' face morphed into that of the real Eobard Thawne complete with his blonde hair and blue eyes. Barry recognized the face as the one he saw Thawne had just before he was erased from existence.

"Ha…that process is always unsettling. This is me, Barry, the real me. Eobard Thawne. Your greatest enemy and now…your key to getting what you want. So, erase everything up to this point and give the following message to the police. My name is Eobard Thawne. Being of sound mind and body, I freely confess to the murder of Nora Allen. In her home, on the night of March 18th, in the year 2000. I attacked Nora Allen in her dining room and stabbed her in the chest with a large butcher knife from the drawer to the left of the sink in the kitchen. I went there in revenge against her husband Henry Allen and then framed for the murder after I planted his prints on the weapon…"

Barry watched in stunned silence as he couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Oh my god. He confessed." Linda said in amazement.

"This is it. This is what I need to free my dad." Barry took out his phone and called Joe. "Hey, Joe. Yeah, hey, can you have everybody meet me at STAR labs? Yeah, all right thanks. All right. Bye."

"I'll drive." Caitlin offered and Barry nodded. Linda pat Barry on the shoulder as it seemed there was now a chance his dad was going to be freed.

Everyone gathered at STAR labs in the cortex to witness the test run on Cisco's new goggles to get further confirmation if Naruto was really alive and out somewhere in the multiverse. Cisco and Professor Stein had finished the modifications needed with Gideon's help. But first things first was to see if the newest revelation and gift left behind by Eobard Thawne of all people might be enough to free Henry Allen from jail. Joe was in the hallway speaking with the ADA about the recent revelation in the case while Barry paced back and forth behind him.

"You think the video's enough?" Joe asked and listened to the response. "Mm-hmm. Well, sure."

"What's she saying?" Barry wondered.

"Hold on." Joe put his phone on mute. "Thawne gave all the right details. It's not a done deal yet but the DA says it looks good."

Barry smiled and hugged Joe before heading into the cortex where Iris, Cisco, Caitlin, Professor Stein, Tsunade, Shizune, Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro were waiting for him. "Is it good news?" Iris asked.

"I think so." Barry said and she hugged him. Both were happy at the good news.

"What don't I get is how?" Gaara asked aloud. "Not to break up the moment and I'm glad your dad is getting out Barry but how? I mean, it's Thawne so are the police gonna be able to prosecute anyone?"

"Given that he was erased from existence I'm gonna go with a soft no." Tsunade pointed out.

"Gaara does have a point. Thawne's confession wasn't as Dr. Wells but as Eobard Thawne. Does he exist here?" Caitlin wondered.

"Turns out he does. In Keystone City. In Thawne's confession he said he was a disgruntled patient of my dad and it's why he went after my mom and planted the evidence against him. Joe checked and there is an Eobard Thawne that lived in Keystone. Same face, fingerprints, social security, birth certificate, it was all there." Barry explained.

"Wow. So, Thawne went through all that effort in making a fake person for the confession that would free your father. Sounds remarkable given that he hated you." Professor Stein remarked when Linda realized something.

"I don't think that part was for Barry. It was for Naruto." Linda said and everyone looked at her. Joe had walked into the cortex and heard what she said. "Despite the hatred he had for him and Barry, Thawne did practically raise him. If Thawne really made this confession in the event that things didn't work out then he wouldn't want to use Dr. Wells. If that happened then everything Naruto has done would be ruined. Thawne was a lot of things but I think he actually cared about Naruto too much to do something like that."

"You really think so?" Iris questioned.

"Thawne and Naruto had a bond and relationship that no one here did or could come close to understanding. And that closeness caused some of us here to doubt his loyalty and faith in the team. Me, especially." Barry admitted with Cisco and Joe feeling as guilty as him. "It is one of the biggest regrets I've had to live with since then and something I need to atone for. And that's why I'm making this promise now. If Naruto is out there, I am not going to rest until he's back home where he belongs."

"Sounds kind of impossible." Shizune said as Barry took a moment to steady himself.

"For just me, yes. I know that I've distanced myself from everyone after what happened. And I'm sorry. I thought it'd be easier for me to go at things alone but some reminders from good friends pointed out that I didn't need to carry the weight of my mistakes alone." Barry said with Linda and Caitlin smiling. "We do this together. It's what Naruto would want."

"Together." Joe declared.

"Here-here." Professor Stein agreed.

"I'm in." Iris agreed.

"Same with us." Cisco and Caitlin added.

"Naruto risked his life to save me. I wouldn't be able to call myself a friend if I didn't do the same for him." Gaara declared.

"Not sure how much help we can be but count us in too." Tsunade said with Shizune, Temari, and Kankuro all giving nods of agreement. "So, what's our first step?"

"First things first is we make sure Naruto's ok. Cisco, you ready?" Barry asked him.

"Am I ever." Cisco said down in a chair as Professor Stein came over with his new modified ultra-frequency stimulant goggles he wore when they needed to recover his visions months ago. "Gideon talked us through everything and we're ready to give this a test run."

"We've added a wavelength trigger to stimulate the adrenaline receptors in Mr. Ramon's brain and changed the frequency modulator that put him into a slow-wave sleep into a now fourth-wave sleep. This will allow us to control how long Mr. Ramon has his vibes and give him better control." Professor Stein explained.

"Vibes?" Caitlin was confused.

"Gideon said that my visions come from my powers. Apparently, I'm something known as a Viber. It's what allows me to do what I do. Figured called the visions vibes sounded better." Cisco pointed out.

"Vibe…" Iris said it out loud and it sounded good. "So, I guess Cisco's got his own metahuman name.

"Just never imagined it would happen like this." Cisco admitted.

Professor Stein turned on the goggles and the lenses began glowing blue instead of green. "Well, shall we Mr. Vibe?"

"Good luck, Cisco." Linda wished him and he nodded.

"Hang on, Naruto. I'm coming." Cisco put on the goggles and a few seconds later his vision started to blue shift like before.

Indistinct voices echoed all around him as he saw what looked like jumbled together moments of events occurring all around him. Like he was in the middle of this empty space of his vibe visions. "Whoa…this is intense." Cisco muttered.

"Cisco, what are you seeing?" He heard Professor Stein say but it kind of sounded like an echo while he was in his vibe.

"It's kind of hard to explain. It's different events. Different events in time. I see Naruto in some of them but they have to be in the past." Cisco told them.

"Maybe a physical trigger for his vibes would help narrow them down." Caitlin suggested so Linda walked over and handed him the Supernatural DVD that had the Naruto appearance. The second he held it the visions began to change and he began to see the events from the show that they saw play out.

"Ok, I think it's working. I see him. He looks the same from the DVD. It's him." Cisco told them.

"Ok, Cisco. Now just focus on Naruto. See everything you can." Professor Stein told him, helping guide him through his vibes.

"Ok…" Cisco closed his eyes and focused on the fluttering images which began to slow down until there were only a few playing out at a time. One image got his attention and it was Naruto running through the same blue light tunnel he saw before. "I see him."

"Go towards him." Professor Stein instructed.

Cisco focused and the vibe began to change. He suddenly found himself outside of STAR labs with the others, all of whom were looking up at the sky at the blackhole over the city that was getting larger by the second. He must be vibing the moment right before the singularity collapsed because he saw Naruto and Barry put on their masks and race up to the blackhole.

"I'm seeing the singularity over the city."Cisco told them.

"You must be seeing the past. Cisco, keep watching." Professor Stein told him so Cisco did.

The vibe shifted and Cisco saw Firestorm in the center of the singularity before they separated in the eye of it causing to collapse. He knew how Barry and Stein survived but he now saw Naruto and Ronnie falling through the air. Naruto saw Ronnie falling so he quickly steered himself over to grab him.

"Gotcha!" Naruto then saw they were heading for the roof of a building. "Ronnie, hold on tight!"

Naruto spun his arms quickly and made wind funnels that slowed him and Ronnie down so they didn't die when they hit the roof of the building but it still hurt as the two crashed and rolled from the impact.

"Oh, son of a bitch…" Naruto held his side in pain as he glanced over at Ronnie who was the same. "Ronnie, you ok?"

"Yeah, but I think I broke something."

"Me too." Naruto managed to get back to his feet and didn't see a black hole in the sky. "I think we did it. Gideon, did that do it?"

"Yes, it did but you have another problem." She told him.

"Problem? What problem? Another black hole?" Naruto wondered.

"No, but I'm not able to connect to STAR labs given the circumstances." Gideon told him.

"Circumstances?" Naruto was confused when Ronnie tapped him on the shoulder to turn around. "Oh…"

He realized the problem as they were in Central City, given by what was shown on the side of a blimp but from what he knew, there weren't supposed to be blimps in Central City. And the entire city looked different. The architecture, design, even the railway system they could see in the distance wasn't right. It honestly looked like a city that belonged back in the 40s. He did see STAR labs in the distance but the building looked different."

"That's a big circumstance." Ronnie commented as Naruto pulled his mask down.

"Where the hell are we?" Naruto asked aloud.

"Gideon was right. When we closed the singularity the force pushed Naruto and Ronnie through it to another earth. Caitlin, Ronnie's alive." Cisco said.

"Ronnie's alive?" Caitlin said in disbelief.

"Cisco, are you sure?" Barry asked him.

"Yeah, I see him with Naruto now. Hang on…." Cisco saw his vibe began to distort. "I think the vibe is shifting."

A sewer grate on the street exploded and a huge torrent of sand poured out from the sewers, causing cars to crash to a stop and people to run in fear. Cisco saw what looked like Naruto's mother run away in fear but before he could ask anymore questions he saw the sandstorm pool together to form a person. It was a metahuman and soon he was joined by another metahuman whose head was a burning skull with green flames. They started attacking property and putting innocent civilians in danger when Cisco saw Naruto's lightning trail appear. He raced onto the street with the two metahumans trying to stop him as he super sped all nearby civilians to safety and then stopped in the street but kept his body vibrating at superspeed to obscure his figure. Naruto used wind funnels to push Atomic Skull back and then used his intense heat to incapacitate Sand Demon before using a fire hydrant to take him out.

He then saw Naruto fighting that earth's Deathstroke in what appeared to be some kind of science lab before the vibe changed and it was of Naruto and Ronnie doing some work in the warehouse they were staying in.

"Ok, the darts should be ready to go." Ronnie told Naruto, loading up one of them with water to test the delivery system. "We could fire these from the Icer or you could just stick Zoom with them if you get close enough."

"Sounds good although getting close to a speedster is usually a bad idea and given how this Zoom is practically Hannibal Lecter then keeping our distance is our best bet." Naruto replied, before putting in some nanites into a dart. "There, done."

"Now all that's left is to actually test it. Care to volunteer?" Ronnie wondered.

"No, this should work. The trick now is to wait until Zoom shows himself. We've got a possible way to deal with Zoom, now all we need is a way home. Gideon, any luck?" Naruto asked her.

"Not at the moment." Gideon showed them the calculations she ran and none of the simulations gave a definitive method to opening up a breach to get home.

"Ok, fair enough. Right now, the only way Gideon has to open up a breach is to detonate a nuclear warhead next to the city's power grid." Naruto suggested.

It's definitely our Ronnie and Naruto. They're alive and trapped on another earth." Cisco told everyone and they all smiled. Caitlin had tears welling up in her eyes as Linda hugged her from the side. Both of them were glad that their significant others were still alive. "Naruto's already faced off against two metahumans on this earth and said there's a third named Zoom after them. Must be a speedster."

"How can you tell?" Barry wondered.

"He made the same nanites he used against Thawne. He must need a way to dampen speed." Cisco answered. "They're still working out a way to get back. Naruto has a copy of Gideon with him. Hang on…"

Cisco's vibe then showed him a sudden surprise attack on the warehouse Naruto and Ronnie were staying at by metahumans he didn't know. Despite being outnumbered, Naruto's speed more then made up for it and he was able to take out. That's when he saw one of the building's wall get vaporized and out walked Ronnie only it wasn't the Ronnie Cisco knew. It was like a twisted mirror version.

"Well, well. Is that a handsome devil? It's like looking into a mirror." Deathstorm smirked only for Ronnie to sigh in disgust.

"Yeah, a twisted funhouse mirror." Ronnie said, aiming his gun at his evil Doppelganger.

"And the fun doesn't stop there?" A cold breeze swept in and extinguished the flames surrounding the hole Deathstorm made before in walked another version of Caitlin but this one was a metahuman with ice powers. "Killing always makes me smile."

"Great, evil Caitin is here." Naruto muttered when a glowing red scythe cut a large hole in another wall and a blast of some kind blew it open. Naruto super sped him and Ronnie out of the way of the debris.

"Vibe metapower's detected." Gideon alerted Naruto and in walked a version of Cisco wearing a leather jacket, the same kind of goggles he was using but he had a long ponytail.

"And the gang's all together." Ronnie said as he readied his Icer shotgun.

"Oh god…why the ponytail of all things?" Cisco said in disbelief.

"Cisco, what's going on now?" Iris questioned.

"Naruto and Ronnie were attacked by metahumans…and they look exactly like us." Cisco told them.

"So, we have evil clones on another earth?" Joe asked for clarification.

"No, these aren't clones but rather your doppelgangers for that earth. As I said before on these other earths in the multiverse exist versions of ourselves there that could be incredibly similar or vastly different to us. It would appear that on the earth Naruto and Ronald have found themselves on have versions of us that have taken the road less desired." Professor Stein explained.

"Evil us. Can't be something Naruto and Ronnie were happy to encounter." Caitlin remarked as Cisco's vibe continued. He saw Naruto and Ronnie fight against the evil doppelgangers and win before things changed. Naruto and Ronnie spoke and Gideon informed him that Cisco's doppelganger had similar powers and could track him. To stop that from happening Gideon suggesting using some of the nanites and injecting them into their bodies. They would emit a pulse that would make tracking them next to impossible so they did. After that, Cisco's vibes began to get erratic.

"Something's wrong…my vibes are getting crazy…" Cisco told them. He tried to concentrate and get a clear and clean vibe but just got bits and pieces. He saw Naruto working in a lab and then had flashes of him fighting against a speedster with blue lightning who he figured was Zoom. And the last thing he saw was Naruto racing through a tunnel of blue energy. Cisco was trying his best but he didn't have practice with his powers so his brain was now working overtime to the point where he started to bleed from the nose.

"Cisco, stop. You're bleeding." Barry told him so Cisco stopped his visions and removed his goggles.

"AH!" Cisco grabbed his head in pain and stumbled but Joe and Barry steadied him. "I'm ok. Just a headache."

"While the new goggles allow you to use your powers, extended durations in a vibe at this point is inadvisable. Until you obtain better control of your powers too much use at this early stage could prove dangerous." Gideon informed him.

"Thanks, Gideon." Cisco wiped his nose with a napkin and took a drink of water.

"Cisco, what happened at the end? Things were going fine until you started bleeding." Linda said.

"I'm not sure. The last thing I saw was Naruto and Ronnie dealing with our evil doppelgangers. Apparently mine has powers like I do but zero fashion sense. You should have seen the jacket and ponytail. I mean, ugh." Cisco shivered. "But apparently Naruto did something to make himself harder to track because it was after that my vibes started to get erratic. Like I wasn't able to get a solid lock on Naruto anymore."

"It makes sense. If Naruto were faced with Cisco's doppelganger who has the same powers and devised a way to obscure himself from being seen by him then the same would be true for Cisco." Professor Stein said.

"So, what does this mean? Does this mean we can't find Naruto anymore?" Tsunade questioned.

"I'm not sure. I tried and I was able to get glimpses but nothing too focused after my vibes began to get erratic." Cisco answered. "But I can try again."

"Let's save that for another day. If Gideon is right then using your powers too much is dangerous until you get better with them. We should get you looked at." Caitlin told him and Cisco nodded.

"The important thing is that we know Naruto and Ronnie are alive. Now we can focus on getting them back." Barry stated when the computer put out an alert. A bank robbery was currently in progress.

"Go get them, Flash." Joe told him and everyone nodded so Barry suited up and ran into the city filled with new hope. Two of his friends were out there trapped on an alternate earth and he would do everything he could to get them back.

STAR Labs Central City, Earth-2

The sound of a running sink could be heard in one of the spare rooms at STAR labs and its occupant was using said sink to handle some hygiene. Said occupant was Naruto who had just gotten out of the shower and cleaned up. He rinsed a razor in the sink and turned the water off before grabbing a towel and drying his face. He looked at himself in the mirror and he wasn't sure if it was just his mind but he honestly felt like he had aged years from his multiversal adventure. All that running and traveling to various earths, helping new friends deal with their problems and making things better then when he arrived was fine and being a hero, he felt a sense of responsibility to help. But he had to admit that all of that travel made him feel like he aged ten years. It had its moments but also its negatives. And he hoped he didn't see Godspeed again.

He walked out of the bathroom and put on some clean clothes when he heard a knock on the door. "Come in."

The door opened and in walked Ronnie. "Hey, Naruto. You ok?"

"Yeah, I'm good. A shower and shave and I'm back to 100%." Naruto assured him.

"Good to hear. Your parents and Wells are in the breach room." Ronnie told him so they went there. "Sorry to hear that your attempt to get back to Earth-1 didn't work."

"Me too but the journey did give me some good data. And with said data and now that I'm back in STAR labs we can figure out a way to get home." Naruto promised. "Any word from Zoom?"

"No, not since your fight with him. It's been months and to be honest everyone feels like they're waiting for another shoe to drop. Wells think you may have actually killed him." Ronnie pointed out.

"I don't think so. My guts tells me that Zoom is still out there. He's just biding his time. Which is why we should figure out how to get home so we can get help to take him down." Naruto stated.

"Amen to that." Ronnie said as they arrived in the Breach room where they saw Dr. Wells, Minato, and Kushina working on the data Gideon gave them along with looking at all the stuff Naruto had in his pack when he came back. The stuff he had miniaturized was returned to normal size.

"It's so good to have you back." Kushina walked over and hugged him so Naruto hugged back. "We got worried about you after the first month you were gone. Or is it the first four months to you?"

"Yeah, I'm not sure how that happened but clearly the trip felt a lot longer to me for a reason. 8 months gone in the multiverse and only two months here. Weird." Naruto admitted. "But I'm glad to back safe and sound."

"Clearly you didn't spend your 8 months away just running. This is an impressive sword." Minato told him, examining the Valyrian steel/Vibranium reverse-blade katana Naruto had with his things. "Did you make this?"

"Yeah with some help from Gideon. Turns out there was an earth in the multiverse from Game of Thrones." Naruto told him.

"Seriously?" Ronnie thought he was joking.

"I'm serious. And the characters from the show look exactly like their actors. Here." Naruto took out his phone to show him a quick speed selfie he took with Daenerys when he was on that earth. "Linda and Cisco are gonna be so jealous."

"Glad to know that you wasted your time on other earths instead of trying to find your way back to your own." Wells remarked.

"Ah, Wells. Still as bitter with that giant stick up your ass, huh?" Naruto quipped.

"Please. That stick is permanently stuck up there." Minato joked.

"Anyway, the trip wasn't a complete dud. I made it close to Earth-1 several times but there's a tachyon energy field surrounding the dimension's vibrational frequency." Naruto pressed a few buttons on his watch and reconnected Gideon to the Earth-2's STAR labs system. "Gideon, project the data."

"Of course."

A hologram projected the valuable data Gideon collected when Naruto attempted to get close to Earth-1 and the tachyon energy field bounced him off. "Oh, yeah. That'll do it." Minato remarked. "Unless you can hit the speed of light you're not going to be able to get past that barrier."

"Why not use the tachyon speed enhancer?" Ronnie suggested.

"No, Naruto's already used it twice to get a speed boost. Anymore and it'll damage the speed force in his cells." Kushina told him. "Theoretically, Naruto's speed is going to continuously increase with time but getting to light speed would likely take years."

"Time we don't have. So, when you and Ronnie were knocked from your earth into ours via the singularity and closed it, the energy cascaded out and created the energy field over your Earth's dimensional frequency. Like someone putting an extra secure padlock on your front door but not giving you key." Wells remarked.

"Gideon suggests that the collapse of that singularity that made the energy field wasn't complete. There are likely cracks in the energy field that could connect Earth-1 to other earths in the multiverse. And considering the close proximity of Earth-1 to Earth-2 and that the singularity was above the sky here then there's a chance one of those portals is on this earth." Naruto explained.

"So, if we find one of those portals then there's a chance we could get home a lot sooner." Ronnie said and smiled at the prospect. "But we've been here for months. Surely we would have seen signs of a breach or portal to another earth, right?"

"Not necessarily." Dr. Wells went onto his computer and began running some calculations. "If the tachyon barrier over Earth-1 appeared after the singularity collapse then we know that means it contained Transdimensional energy. That's the energy of the multiverse and what Naruto likely experienced during his travels. If the singularity collapse opened up portals that connect Earth-1 to other earths then Transdimensional energy would leak out and flow between the two planes of existence. That's what would make these portals but in some cases the amount of Transdimensional energy could be enough to create a pathway to another earth or it might not be enough for anything to happen. But if there is a portal from our earth to Earth-1 then we might be able to find it."

"We can make some adjustments to the STAR labs satellites and upload an electrophotography program which would allow us to capture the location of any kind of portals here in Central City." Minato suggested.

"Once we do that then Naruto and Ronnie have a shot at getting home." Kushina said and Ronnie smiled but noticed Naruto didn't seem as thrilled.

"Naruto, you ok? This is good news." Ronnie assured him. "And if anyone can get us home then it's you."

"Yeah, it's just…"

"What is it, Naruto?" Minato asked him.

"You ever get that feeling in the bottom of your stomach like something bad is about to happen?" Naruto wondered and they all nodded. "Well, I'm getting that now. I have a feeling something bad is gonna happen."

Zoom's Lair

Hunter Zolomon stretched his neck and back as his body flickered with blue lightning. All his injuries he suffered from his fight with Impulse had healed but the nanites he was injected with were still dampening his speed to a fraction of what it was before. Luckily Zoom had enough to get help and found someone to fix him. The person responsible for that was currently chained to a workbench and making something on orders from Zoom. Said person was Dr. Clifford Devoe, a brilliant scientist from Keystone city who gave Dr. Wells a run for his money. His genius is why Zoom needed his help but Devoe refused to work for a psychotic monster. That was until Zoom threatened his wife Marlise so unless Devoe did what he was told he would never see his wife.

"How much longer?" Zolomon questioned Devoe.

"I'm almost done." Devoe finished making the final adjustment to a Quantum tachyon matrix. Different from the Tachyon Matrix Naruto used on himself but close enough that it would give Zoom an increase in speed which is exactly what he needed.

"Just know that if you think of trying to cross me, your wife will pay for your mistakes." Zolomon warned Devoe and the man nodded before meekly going back to work. He finished putting in the last few components to the matrix. The core began glowing red and was powered up.

"Ok. It's ready." Devoe hooked the Quantum Tachyon matrix onto Zoom's chest and activated it. The glowing red energy core began flooding Zoom's body with energy and powering up the speed force in his cells.

"RAHH!" Zoom shouted to high heavens as his blue lightning flickered all around his body but soon enough blood red lightning appeared. Zoom felt all his anger and hatred towards Impulse bubble up to the surface and then explode, filling him with more speed and power then he felt before. He began vibrating his body and soon enough the nanites phased out giving him his full speed back but now more with his speed boost. He super sped away but then returned in the blink of an eye wearing his suit. The black color clashed with his blue and now red lightning. "Power…"

"I did what you asked. Now, please let my wife go." Devoe begged so Zoom super sped away and returned with his wife. "Marlise!"

He rushed over and the two hugged, happy to be in each other arms despite their circumstances. But the moment soon ended as Zoom vibrated his hand between the husband and wife and killed them both. He pulled his arm free and the two slumped to the ground dead but in their final moments they managed to find the strength to enclose their hands together, dying in each other's arms. Zoom could care less about them. He had a score to settle with Impulse but while he had spent months healing up from their fight he did some research and realized two things. The first was that Impulse clearly had help from STAR labs. The tech he used during their fight was evidence of that. STAR labs was the only place that could make things like that. The second was that Impulse likely wasn't from his earth. He was the only one on this earth with speed until Impulse appeared after the giant black hole in the sky appeared. He saw two speedsters in the black hole before it collapsed so one of them must be Impulse. His time remnant was on Earth-1 looking into this other speedster but Impulse was just as important.

Zoom super sped away and appeared in another part of his lair where he was keeping someone prisoner in a carbine cell. Said prisoner was forced to wear a special helmet that kept him from speaking or using his powers to escape. He and Zoom locked eyes as the evil speedster walked over. "You'll have company soon enough…Jay Garrick." Zoom promised before he super sped away.

STAR Labs

Naruto and the others were working on adjustments needed to be done to the STAR labs satellites to hopefully capture possible Transdimensional energy portals to Earth-1. Naruto and Dr. Wells were working on the programing while Minato and Ronnie were working on a new pair of repulsor gauntlets for Naruto. His right one was destroyed when he fought the White Walker and his left one needed some maintenance. Having both helped in his fight against Zoom last time so getting them back to working order would be beneficial if Zoom showed up. Kushina was in her office spending some time with Mito who just got out of school.

While they worked they had the TV on for some ambient noise and the news was reporting on the activities going on in Star City. "And the Arrow of Starling City defeated a complex human trafficking ring and if eye witnessed reports are to be believed, a group of highly skilled black clad ninjas while saving several innocent bystanders from getting hurt. It's been six months since the Arrow has resurged in his activities in Starling City and the efforts in his war on crime have since double in that time…" The reporter announced while showing some photos and videos of the Arrow and his work.

"Good on you, Mr. Queen." Naruto muttered as he and Wells kept working.

"In other news, Robert Queen's surprise return to Queen Consolidated has brought the business world on its head with…excuse me." The reporter stopped as he was given some new information via his earpiece. "I'm receiving word that there has been an attack at Central City College. The science building was the focus of another metahuman attack. We are just receiving video. Please be advised, I'm told that the footage you are about to see is disturbing to some viewers."

Wells picked his head up and looked at the TV immediately in concern. Central City College was where Jesse went. Naruto realized that too and he immediately super sped out of STAR labs and headed there as fast as he could. Wells took out his phone and called Jesse. "Hey, Jesse, it's dad. Can you—I just—I saw on the news—Just call me, all right? Let me know that you're ok."

Wells, Ronnie, and Minato watched the news and they saw Impulse arrive at the college. He began scouring through the wreckage to look for survivors and there were a view but then they saw him stop near some rubble and pick something up. The camera managed to get a good view on what it was and it was a phone. It was ringing and the caller ID had Wells listed as Daddy. It was Jesse's phone.

"Oh my god…" Minato muttered in horror as did Wells as the news reported that the metahuman escaped with a hostage that had yet to be ID'd.

Impulse raced around the college ten times and checked all the rubble and wreckage from the attack. He found some bodies and a lot of injured but none of them were Jesse. He then checked the Campus's security cameras and they went down shortly after the attack but he was able to pick up the faint flicker of blue lightning just before it did. Impulse then raced around every single square mile of Central City 100 times but Jesse and Zoom were nowhere in sight. He stopped on the edge of the roof of the tallest building in Central City and looked out at the city, hoping to see some kind of sign or trail as to where Zoom took Jesse but nothing. "ZOOOOM!"

Zoom appeared back in his lair with Jesse in tow and locked her into a cell next to Jay. "Get comfortable, Jesse Wells. You're gonna be here for a long time."

"What do you want with me? Why are you doing this?" Jesse managed to utter despite the immense fear she felt.

"Your father chose to help the wrong person." Zoom told her.

Jesse managed to put the pieces together and realized who he was talking about. "That other speedster will stop you." Jesse said.

"No…he won't. Soon enough his spine will snap under my boot." Zoom let out a menacing chuckle as his blue and blood red lightning flickered around his body. Jesse and Jay could only look on in horror and hoped that someone would help them. "But he's just the first."

Central City Earth-1

Barry was waiting outside of Iron Heights as the main gate buzzed and Henry Allen walked out, wearing his regular clothes. The father and son embraced one another, beyond overjoyed to see this day come. "Let's get out of here." Barry told his dad.

"I'll race you." Henry joked.

"You will lose." Barry quipped as they walked to the car. A short car ride back to Joe's house and they walked in to Joe, Iris, Cisco, Caitlin, Linda, Kurama, Tsunade, Shizune, Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro waiting.

"Welcome home!" They cheered and Henry smiled as they all were happy to see him out. The evidence Thawne provided was enough and Henry's conviction was overturned. He was a free man now. They celebrated his freedom with champagne and food where Henry was able to meet the people he didn't previously know. With everything everyone was going through and the recent good news they had on Naruto and Ronnie being alive…this added to it.

Professor Stein clinked his wedding ring against his champagne glass to get everyone's attention. "Gather around, everyone, please. Looking at all of you, thinking how far we've all come, and remembering those who are no longer with us…" He said as Joe held Iris close and kissed her head, both of them remembering Eddie while Caitlin thought about Ronnie and Linda thought about Naruto. "…I'm reminded of a Hebrew word used during times of graduation. Kadima. It means, forward. Forward."

"Forward." Everyone agreed and cheered their glasses of champagne.

"You good?" Barry asked his dad.

"Yeah. Just the stuff goes to your head when you've been away from it for 14 years." Henry admitted when he picked up the newspaper and showed Barry the headline. It read, Flash Day celebration tomorrow. "You are going to this right?"

"I've been thinking about it." Barry admitted. "Honestly, after everything we've been through going to a celebration for the Flash doesn't feel right without the whole team."

"Look, Barry. I'm not even gonna begin to understand all that science talk you and Cisco tried to explain with the multiverse but Naruto and Ronnie are alive. That's the most important thing and it's only a matter of time before they're home too. Take the wins when you can. Everyone here knows you've done a lot to help this city and now they know it too." Henry told him and Barry nodded. "Besides, I want to see my son up there on the stage when the mayor gives him the key to the city."

Barry chuckled and they enjoyed the rest of their celebration. The mood was brought down a bit when Henry said he wasn't planning on staying in Central City after the Flash Day celebration. Henry needed some space to figure out what to do next and Barry was needed in Central City. He couldn't leave so despite the sadness of losing his dad again, he would be back.

The next day…

Most if not all of Central City had gathered at Hawkin's park for the Flash Day Celebration. It was the biggest park in Central city with enough space for the stage, the band, food vendors, and the giant crowd of people there for a chance to see the Flash with their own eyes. The marching band was playing some festive music, the mayor and city council were chatting around on the stage, the people in the crowd were all dressed in Flash Day attire while the CCPD were set up around the perimeter incase something happened. The members of Team Flash were there as well. Cisco was with Joe at his car by the perimeter, Linda had Kurama with him and was with Caitlin and Henry Allen, Gaara and his siblings were in attendance, Professor Stein and his wife were there, Iris was there to support Barry but to also do a report for CCPN, and Tsunade and Shizune were there with the kids from the shelter. They were beyond excited to be there and hoped to see the Flash. With this being such a huge event, some of the city leadership thought that Naruto would be there but Cisco and Gaara had that handled. They said that Naruto had gone on a personal science retreat to help further ideas for STAR labs so he would miss the Flash Day celebration and be gone for a while.

"Are we expecting trouble?" Cisco wondered.

"Cops always expect trouble. In this city, I expect super evil flying monsters." Joe stated.

"That's a solid expectation." Cisco agreed. "We should get a funnel cake after this."

"Now that I can agree on." Joe replied when everyone saw the mayor take the stage at the podium and cheered.

"Good morning, Central City! A year ago, our world changed. Our city became ground zero for…some pretty weird stuff. We got a new breed of criminal. Men and women who defied not only our laws, but physics and reason. But we got something else, too. We got the heroes of Central City! The Flash and Impulse!" The Mayor announced and everyone cheered. "Together they have protected our city from great threats and when a black hole opened up over the city, created by a villainous metahuman it was the Central City Speedsters who saved us. But their efforts came at great personal cost with Impulse giving his life to protect us. Our wounds run deep and I know that many of you are afraid of what threats tomorrow may bring. But the Flash doesn't just protect us, he restores hope to where it was lost. That is why I'm honored to present the key to man who protects Central City: The Flash!"

The crowd cheered as they waited to see if the Flash would appeared when they all felt a whoosh of air brush past them until they saw a red blur of yellow lightning appear on stage and stop. The Flash had arrived and in style. The crowd got to see him with their own eyes but he had something new for them to see. His emblem of the yellow lightning bolt on the circle of red had been changed and now it was on a circle of white like what Team Flash saw from the future newspaper. It was a nice upgrade to his suit and the lightning bolt definitely popped against the white more. He smiled at the crowd and gave them a wave before he walked over to the Mayor.

"The doors to Central City will forever be open for you, Flash." The Mayor said and Flash nodded. He moved to take the key when he heard screaming.

"Look out!" Joe shouted as everyone saw a giant truck flying through the air towards them. Flash grabbed the Mayor and the city council and raced them away in time as the truck crashed onto the stage. The fuel tank exploded and the small explosion caused everyone to run away in terror. Team Flash along with Joe and the CCPD were on alert to see where that truck came from but got their answer soon enough.

"FLASH!"

They heard and saw a man hovering in the air towards the Flash Day celebration. He had on a purple suit and helmet with the latter having two sharped edges that extended up like the ends of a magnet. Along with his purple suit was a blue cape, a yellow belt, and black boots. "I hope I'm not too late for the party! Don't worry, I've got just the gift for the protector of Central City!"

The man raised his hands and they began glowing with a purple energy that made physical distortions in the air. The stage began to rumble before parts of it came apart and hovered in the air next to him. "What the hell?" Flash muttered as the man thrust his hand forward and the parts of the stage were shot at him so he super sped out of the way. The pieces of metal from the stage pierced into the ground like bullets so the Flash kept running to avoid them while also getting any innocent civilians out of the way.

"Come on, Flash! Is that all you can do?! I was expecting more!" The man boasted as he lifted up the food carts and sent them at the Flash as well. Joe and the CCPD fired their guns at the floating meta but he just held his hand forward and froze their bullets in the air. Cisco watched the fight happening when he was suddenly hit with a Vibe.

He saw the floating man talking to someone that he couldn't see. He only saw him from the back but he had on a black suit and his body was sparking with blue and red lighting. "…Kill the Flash…" Cisco had no idea who he was but was able to at least hear that.

"Cisco! Cisco!" Joe's shouting brought Cisco out of his sudden Vibe. "The Boot!"

"Right!" Cisco rushed to the trunk of the car and pulled out a large device. It was his contribution to the CCPD. It was a mobile metahuman power-dampening collar device. It launched a metahuman power-dampening collar at a suspected metahuman from a distance. It would latch around a body part like the arm or leg and tighten with the power-dampening collar taking away their powers and the secondary shock disabling them. "Locked and loaded! Go!"

Joe took the boot and fired it at the meta but he just raised his hands and froze it in air. He looked at Joe and shook his index finger back and forth before crushing the boot. "That's not good." Joe admitted.

"No, it's not." Cisco agreed as the meta flung a car at them. The two ducked and covered their heads, waiting to be crushed but it never happened. When they looked up they could see why and it was because a giant wall of sand caught the car and placed it back onto the ground.

"You guys ok?" They heard and saw Gaara floating in the air on a sand cloud. He was wearing the same clothes he wore when he helped Barry and Naruto fight against Reverse-Flash. His long-sleeved crimson coat, black trousers, and heavy duty combat boots. Over the coat was a combat vest with two buckles and straps that held the large sand gourd on his back and the final pieces were a simple mask covering everything from the nose down and a pair of goggles on his forehead.

"Yeah. Damn, it's good to see you, Gaara. Remind me to make you a real suit." Cisco told him.

"Will do. Get out of here." Gaara told them as he flew forward on his sand cloud. More sand came out of his sand gourd and Gaara used it to help protect bystanders from the metas flying pieces of metal before he created a giant sand hand and used it to catch a thrown car that would have hit Flash. He then threw it back at the meta only for him to send it flying away.

"You shouldn't have interfered in this, Sand Demon!" The meta shouted as he levitated a car and disassembled it into pieces before flinging said pieces at Gaara. Gaara just created a huge sand wall and the pieces of metal lost their momentum when they hit.

"You shouldn't have attacked the Flash!" Gaara sent a wave a sand at him but the man just flew in the air to avoid it and ripped off the roof of a car. He sent it at the sand cloud under Gaara. It was dispersed and Gaara fell through the air but Flash caught him. "Thanks."

"Thanks for the save." Flash told him when they saw the meta throw another car at them only this time it was blasted by something and blew up. They covered their heads as a blast of light hit the meta and knocked him back. Everyone looked up to see a woman hovering in the air and floating down to the Flash and Gaara. It was Linda wearing the suit that Naruto had made and she used once against their fight with Orochimaru. The Black polymer composite material suit that was sleek and form fitting with a sash-like belt and white star symbol on her chest. Linda had her hair tied up in a ponytail and was wearing the high-tech tinted mask over her eyes. "Linda."

"It's Binary. Or Dr. Light. We never settled on a name." Linda pointed out. "When the meta attacked, I had Gaara take us back to STAR labs so we could suit up."

"Glad you did. I don't mind the help." Flash admitted as he saw the meta get back into the air. That's when noticed the man was visibly panting like he was trying to catch his breath. "All right, here's what we do. Gaara, stay back and use your powers to make sure he doesn't hurt any civilians. I'll be the distraction and try to get him to use his powers. The more the uses the more he'll tire himself out. Linda when you see an opening you blast him."

"Got it." They both replied as Gaara made another sand cloud and hovered into the air while the Flash super sped away. Linda stayed behind on the ground and took cover to wait for an opening.

"Hey, dude!" The Flash waved at him with a smirk on his face. "I'm uh…I'm not sure what your problem is but I'm gonna have to ask you to stop now. If you're peaceful, I promise to take you in quietly."

"Not on your life, Flash!" The meta ripped a light pole out of the ground and threw it at him only for the Flash to super speed away. The pole flew through the air but then a large hand made of sand caught it and placed it on the ground while a separate small cloud got two bystanders out of the way to safety.

"Aw, come on. Are you sure you don't want to surrender peacefully? It's chicken tender night at Iron Heights!" The Flash offered and super sped away to avoid getting hit by a car. "On some of those nights they also serve Mac and Cheese! The inmates really love it!"

"Just die, Flash!" The meta stretched his arms out and began firing bolts of electromagnetic electricity at the Flash. The Flash super sped out of the way and Gaara flew by, creating a giant wall of sand to absorb the electricity and keep it from hurting anyone else. That's when Linda flew up into the air and fired a blast of light that hit the meta and sent him tumbling through the air until he managed to get his footing. He turned as Linda fired another light blast but he raised his hands and summoned an electromagnetic shield around his body to protect him. Linda began glowing brighter as she poured more energy into the light blast while the meta kept up the shield to keep himself safe but the physical strain soon became too much and he was blasted.

He flew through the air until he was caught by a giant hand of sand that then slammed him into the ground. He groaned in pain and managed to lift himself off the ground when the Flash raced by and began running around him in a circle at super speed. He made a small tornado that lifted him up into the air but then stopped. The meta fell as the Flash raced by and charged up an accelerated mass punch, hitting the meta right in the face and sending him flying across the park until he crashed into the stage. He was knocked unconscious and his helmet was cracked in half revealing the bruised and bleeding face of a man with short brown hair. CCPD officers surrounded him with one getting close and putting a pair of power-dampening cuffs on him.

The Flash stopped nearby and saw he was arrested as Gaara and Linda floated down next to him. The police and some of the civilians still in the area clapped and cheered in the Flash saving the day with the help of some new heroes. The Flash smiled and waved at the people as Gaara looked around at the civilians cheering for them. He felt a pleasant feeling of ease flow through him at this moment. For so long, he was still conflicted with his powers and how he became a metahuman especially since it cost him years of his life as a mindless slave to Orochimaru until Naruto rescued him. He had used them only once since to help against Reverse-Flash but using them to help Barry and seeing everyone look at him not as a monster…felt amazing. Like a giant weight on his shoulders was gone.

"I understand why you and Naruto do this." Gaara said.

"It feels good, doesn't it." Linda pointed out and Gaara nodded.

"Think you could get used to it?" Barry wondered.

"Maybe…" He answered before the trio left. A memorable if unexpected and unplanned ending to Flash Day.

Several hours later…

Barry and everyone was at the cortex in STAR labs to go over what just happened at the Flash Day celebration minus Tsunade and Shizune who took the kids back to the shelter and Temari and Kankuro who had some business to take care of. The meta was arrested and taken immediately to Iron Heights and thankfully no one was hurt but there were still come questions to be answered and the first one was making them scratch their heads.

"Are you sure you got the information right?" Barry asked Cisco.

"Dude, I checked the information ten times and Gideon then triple checked it. It's right." Cisco said, referring to the info they got on their unidentified meta who attacked the celebration. When the CCPD took him in they took his suit and did the usual DNA and fingerprints tests before he was taken to Iron Heights. Only problem was the fingerprints belonged to a dead guy.

"I don't know, Cisco. According to that screen right there it says that our meta is Doctor Neal Emerson, physicist at UCLA. It also happens to say that he died in a car accident three years ago." Joe pointed out.

"Not only that but he was giving a lecture at Columbia university the day the Particle Accelerator exploded so on top of him being already dead he wouldn't have any powers." Gaara added.

"He doesn't have a twin? Or a cousin that looks just like him?" Linda questioned.

"No. He has a sister and I checked his social media. No family members with an eerie resemblance." Cisco answered, taking a moment to think about what happened to him at the Flash Day Celebration. "That still doesn't explain the Vibe I had."

"Is that what was happening to you? It looked like you spaced out for a bit." Joe stated.

"What did you see, Cisco?" Barry asked.

"Not a lot. I saw our mysterious magnet meta meeting with a guy in a black suit. I didn't see a lot other then that but the guy told the meta to kill the Flash." Cisco answered.

"Yeah, that part was kind of obvious." Caitlin pointed out. "But why did he call Gaara Sand Demon? It's almost like he knew you."

"What else did you see, Cisco?" Iris wondered.

"Not much. The Vibe was pretty short but I think the guy the meta was speaking to is a speedster. He had red and blue lightning flicker around his body." Cisco answered when he remembered something. "When I was able to Vibe Naruto on this other earth…I managed to get a glimpse of him fighting another speedster. That speedster had blue lightning."

"Could they be the same speedster?" Linda wondered.

"They are." They heard and the team turned around to the doorway where they saw someone standing there. Joe aimed his gun at them while Linda activated her powers and aimed her glowing hand at him while Gaara summoned some sand just in case.

"Stay where you are!" Joe warned him.

"Who are you?" Barry questioned.

"You don't know me, but I know you…Barry Allen." The man said.

"Take one more step, it'll be the last step you take." Joe warned him. "The man asked you a question. Who the hell are you?"

The man then stepped forward so they could see who he was. He was tall and physically bigger than Barry with the body more akin to a swimmer while Barry was more like a long distance runner. "My name is Jay Garrick, and your world is in danger. Please just let me explain. I mean you no harm."

"How do you know my name?" Barry questioned.

"I know all your names. Caitin snow, Cisco Ramon, Detective Joe West…"

"Enough." Joe raised his gun and kept his finger on the trigger. "That part about explaining needs to happen right about now."

"This world is in danger. When you created the singularity above Central City, you also created a breach between my world and yours." Jay explained.

"I'm sorry, a breach?" Linda asked.

"Yes, a portal connecting our two earths." Jay replied.

"And what precisely is your concern?" Professor Stein asked.

"You recently just faced a metahuman whose real name is Doctor Neal Emerson who was safely taken into custody but that doesn't match with the fact that Doctor Emerson is dead. The Doctor Emerson you faced is from my world. He calls himself Doctor Polaris and he's a metahuman with the ability to control magnetic fields." Jay explained.

"Explains how he was able to do everything at the celebration." Gaara pointed out.

"If he got through the breach then it won't be long before more like him come next." Jay warned them.

"Okay, so, Jay, how exactly do you know all of this?" Barry wondered.

"Where I came from, I was a speedster like you. They called me the Flash." Jay answered and that threw everyone for a loop. "Before I arrived on your earth I was in a fight with a man named Zoom."

"Zoom? Who is he?" Cisco asked.

"He's a speedster, the same one your friend Cisco said he saw. Zoom has blue lightning but never red so he must have gotten faster. He's a speedster like us but faster, maybe the fastest of all. He is an unstoppable demon with the face of death." Jay said in a foreboding tone. "We were engaged in our fiercest battle ever, racing throughout my city but I wasn't fast enough to stop him. Zoom had me beaten and was about to kill me when suddenly there was a blinding light and the sky split open. A breach, between my world and yours, caused from the Singularity. It pulled me in…and I somehow ended up in your world. Powerless. Unable to return home."

"What do you mean?" Caitlin asked.

"I lost my speed." Jay answered.

"How?" Barry questioned.

"Not entirely sure." Jay replied.

The team was still wary so they decided to keep asking him questions and not let up the fact that they knew of the multiverse already. "So, if you've been here the past six months why haven't you come to see us before?" Joe asked.

"I'm in a foreign world here, Detective. I didn't know who you all were. Took me that long to piece it all together." Jay explained.

"So that's how you know our names. You've been following us." Iris accused him.

"Look, I know how this sounds. The existence of another earth, you, another Flash, it all came as an unexpected shock to me too but I am telling you the truth. And I want to help." Jay told them.

"Help us how?" Gaara wondered.

"If we can figure out how Zoom is sending metas from my world to yours, we might be able to help you rescue your friend. The one trapped on my earth and fighting Zoom." Jay suggested. "When I was pulled through the breach I saw two trails of lightning and eventually learned that the Flash of this earth has a sidekick known as Impulse."

"He's not my sidekick." Barry corrected him.

"Sorry. When I entered I overhead Cisco say he saw your friend fighting against Zoom. If that's true and he's trapped on my earth then he needs all the help he can get. Zoom is dangerous and he won't stop until he's hunted down your friend…and killed him." Jay warned them. "If you want to stop Zoom and bring your friend back then you'll need my help."

"All right, Jay. If you want to help then we need to see if you're telling the truth. We're gonna…do some tests on you. See if you're telling us the truth. Because if you're not, this Zoom, he's not gonna be your only enemy." Barry warned him but he and the team were unaware that another meta from Earth-2 would soon arrive on Earth-1, giving Jay all the proof he would need to convince the others.

Earth-2 Central City

The mood in the city was dower and tense with the return of Zoom and his recent attack at Central City College that left dozens injured but surprisingly no one dead. However instead of a casualty there was now a missing person. Jesse Wells had been abducted from the college by Zoom and there was no sign of where he took her. The CCPD were useless despite Detective Iris West's promise to Dr. Wells that they would find her, he knew better then that. He knew his best hope in getting Jesse back was Naruto.

The Crimson and White Lightning blur of Impulse was seen speeding through Central City after some time away and began racing all around the city one last time before he arrived back at STAR labs. The blur raced around in STAR labs before stopping in one of the labs. Naruto was seen eating through a huge pile of food from Big Belly Burger and some speedster energy bars. His hair was a bit wet as he had just come out of the shower which he needed from all the running he just did and he needed food for his metabolism. Naruto was easily eating through 70,000 calories of food because of how much he used his speed. After he finished the last fry and energy bar he became a blur of lightning and cleaned up just as Minato walked in.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"I'm fine. Fueled up again." Naruto answered. "Did my tracking algorithm get lucky and narrow down Zoom's hideout?"

"No. Your program is solid and Gideon is smart but it's the lack of data we have at the moment that's the problem." Minato pointed out as they walked through STAR labs. "The CCPD's data on Zoom gives us nothing. They've never been able to get anything on him except for what happens after he appears at a location during the past two years but he's too fast and the STAR labs data isn't able to give us enough. Our satellites and sensors haven't been able to track Zoom with much luck before you and Ronnie got here. We have data on where he's shown up and his victims but every time he leaves or runs away he's too fast for us to track where he goes. We can do that now but he hasn't shown himself since he took Jesse. I still don't get why he would take her. Zoom's never kidnapped people before, he's just killed them. I mean, I'm glad that Jesse's still alive but why the change?"

"Me." Naruto answered. "I'm the only factor that's changed in the last six months. Zoom went after her because of me."

"Why?"

"He's probably figured that I've been working with STAR labs and so he took Jesse as a way to get at Wells and as a warning. Speaking of which, you should probably get Mito someplace safe." Naruto told his dad.

"We did. After Jesse was taken we brought her here where we can keep an eye on her. She doesn't know what's going on but she's worried. We all are." Minato said.

"So am I. Zoom's changed things up. I'm not a psychologist but it's probably because of what happened from our last fight." Naruto theorized.

"What do you mean?" Minato was confused.

"I analyzed Hunter Zolomon's psychological profile after he was captured by the CCPD. The man is a text-book definition of a sociopath mixed with the epitome of a narcissist but with everything he is and done he's more a psychopath. Manipulative with little regard for the lives of others and absolute zero guilt in his actions or how they affect others. But he was also charming and manipulative enough to play the double role of the hero, Jay Garrick, the Flash. Someone who as able to convince the city he was the hero despite the fact that he could care less about them. Not only that but everything I've read about the CCPD files on Zoom indicate he's never done anything just because. He's calculating and smart but he also has an ego and that was severely bruised during our last fight." Naruto explained, having deduced Zoom's mindset and psychological profile fairly easy. "He wants revenge and he doesn't care what he has to do to get it. Taking Jesse must figure into his plan somehow but we'll find her."

"How?" Minato asked as they walked into the main room where Dr. Wells and Ronnie were doing work on trying to find Zoom.

"I don't know how but I'm not going to stop until I find Jesse. You have my word, Harry." Naruto said to him. "I'm not gonna stop until Jesse's back and that's a promise."

"We all will, Wells." Minato assured him.

"Thank you." Wells replied when their system picked up something moving incredibly fast in Central City. "Zoom's back."

"Gideon, track his position. Where's he going?" Naruto asked.

"Tracking…Zoom has just arrived at Iron Height's prison." Gideon brought up the satellite feed and showed Iron Heights prison on fire with multiple collapses and structural breaks throughout the entire prison. Zoom had just started a massive prison break.

"CCPD and the prison are overwhelmed. Multiple injured and the prisoners have been set loose." Ronnie reported.

"Why the hell would Zoom attack the prison?" Minato asked.

"Make a statement and to draw me out. He knows that a hero would have to stop that prison break before those prisoners get out and wreak havoc in the city, especially if there are metahumans imprisoned there." Naruto answered.

"Then you could be walking into a trap." Wells pointed out only for Naruto to hold his fist out. His Flash ring glowed and shot out his suit so Naruto sped forward and got suited up in a blur of speed.

"I know. But if Zoom's there then there's a chance I can find Jesse." Naruto pulled up his mask and settled his goggles on his head before clipping on his repulsor bracelets. Once they were secure they opened up and deployed the nano-promethium metal and his fixed repulsor gauntlets were active. "Quarterback everything from here and let me know if something comes up."

"Naruto, I don't like this." Minato warned him.

"I know but I've got to go." Naruto replied before he walked over to Ronnie. "Ronnie, incase something happens you focus on getting back home."

"I'm not leaving without you." Ronnie stated only for Naruto to place a flash drive in his hand.

"Get home to Caitlin, Ronnie." Naruto told him before he put on his goggles and super sped away.

A loud crack of thunder was hear in Central City which wasn't thunder but actually Impulse breaking the sound barrier as he raced through the city to Iron Heights. Said prison that held all of the criminals from Central City including the metahumans. The guards and police stationed there had no idea what happened. One moment things were fine then all of a sudden there were several explosions throughout the prison and the power cut out. Then they saw a blur of blue and red lightning speed all around Iron Heights, unlocking prison cells and setting prisoners free. The guards did their best to mount a defensive action and keep the prisoners from getting out but they were caught off guard and soon overwhelmed. The prisoners took what weapons they had and stormed the armory before taking control of the prison and running amuck. The guards were beyond terrified and hunkered down in secured areas while they waited for backup from the CCPD but they were still minutes away and CCPD SWAT and Tactical Squads would a little longer to mobilize.

When Zoom tore through the metahuman wing of the prison, all the captured metahumans were let loose and their power dampening collars were deactivated. Many of them began using their powers against the guards and police officers trying to keep them back and took their revenge. One metahuman fired electricity from his hands while another shot out red lasers from his eyes and roasted several guards alive along with any inmates who got in their way. Atomic Skull was one of the freed metahumans and made his way through the prison, breathing out a green blast of radioactive energy to vaporize concrete barricades and even walls of the prison. Sand Demon was also one of the freed metahumans but instead of sticking around he just decided to leave so he turned into sand and flew away. He wasn't the only one as some other metas left as well.

Atomic Skull led the horde of inmates making their way to the front gate to escape the prison. Many if not all the inmates had guns they had taken from the guards or the armory and started hotwiring the vehicles so they could drive to freedom. Atomic Skull opened up his mouth and fired a gigantic blast of radioactive energy that completely vaporized the main fortified gate. His radioactive energy melted through steel reinforced concrete and other polymer metals like they were nothing. Once their obstruction was gone the inmates charged out only to suddenly see a giant tower of concrete dividers blocking their path.

Then something fast slipped past them and the shockwave it made sent them flying. Within seconds all their guns were gone and the cars they hijacked had their tires removed. That's when they saw a blur of crimson and white lightning slow to a stop and Impulse appeared. He hurled a lightning bolt and hit Atomic Skull, creating a huge explosion that sent the radioactive meta flying through the air and crashing into a guards checkpoint booth. The explosion knocked him out and the lightning zapped him like a taser but soon enough his body was encased in liquid concrete which solidified. Impulse then raced around the prison and took down the inmates in rapid succession. He would just race by an area and the once rioting inmates were knocked unconscious and tied up together on the ground.

A group of guards and prison staff were cowering in an office with the door fortified and their weapons aimed at the door which was currently being bashed in by the inmates trying to get to them. The guards hoped the CCPD would get here soon to help them or else they'd be dead when they heard of whoosh of air outside the door followed by loud grunts and then the banging stopped. Unbeknownst to them, all the inmates outside in the hall were knocked out and tied up. Impulse continued racing throughout the prison and taking down every single inmate while saving any guards or officers from getting killed and took them to the Warden's office. Said Warden was hiding under his desk like a baby when he heard various whooshes of air and peaked out to see his guards there all looking around in confusion as to what just happened.

In the next minute Naruto super sped throughout the rest of the prison and took out the remaining inmates, knocking them unconscious and tying them up while saving any guards or officers in danger. He even took out the metahumans in quick succession. The Lightning and laser meta were quickly knocked out but he saw that other then Atomic Skull the others were gone. They must have used the chaos of the breakout to escape instead of sticking around like Skull to go crazy.

"Naruto, STAR labs satellites are picking up a fast moving lightning trail in the city. Zoom has returned." Gideon warned him so Naruto sped out of there in an instant.

Zoom was racing through Central City, causing some havoc on the way to broadcast to the entire city that his reign of terror was far from over. Being the egomaniacal monster that he was, Zoom set various buildings on fire and one of the buildings were the words Fear Zoom written in fire. Zoom killed several people on his way through the city before he course corrected and headed to STAR labs. He headed straight there when he heard a sonic boom and saw Impulse come at him from the side with a Mach punch but saw it coming in time that he managed to avoid it.

Impulse skid to a stop and turned to fire a repulsor blast but Zoom super sped out of the way and then did a flying kick that hit him right in the stomach. He flew through the air and skid on the street before he stopped. Naruto grabbed his stomach in pain as he saw Zoom appear in front of him in his traditional black suit like before but likely a new one since the other was badly damaged. The one new thing with Zoom was that his usual blue lightning was joined with red.

"Your tricks won't work on me." Zoom boasted.

"You sure about that?" Naruto got back to his feet, never taking his eyes off Zoom as the two had a stare off. "Where's Jesse Wells?"

"Harrison Wells shouldn't have helped you and now she pays for the sins of her father." Zoom answered. "But she's just the first. Everyone who helped you will suffer the same fate."

"I'm gonna give you this once chance to let her go. Escalating this isn't going to end well for you." Naruto warned him.

"Neither is standing against me. Heroes die in Central City but death will be a sweet relief compared to what I will do to you. Your bones will break under my boots and when all your speed is mine…then you will die." Zoom threatened.

"No more talking." Naruto fired a repulsor blast but like before Zoom avoided it which is exactly what Naruto wanted. He super sped forward and extended the forearm blade in one of his gauntlets to slash Zoom but he managed to avoid it and grab his arm. He vibrated his hand and broke the blade off before slashing Naruto across the chest but Naruto's suit was able to take the cut. Naruto then grabbed his arm and headbutted him before punching him across the face only for Zoom to block the punch and dish out his own. Naruto was knocked to the left from Zoom's left jab and then the right from his right jab. Zoom then kicked him in the chest and knocked him to the ground so Naruto took off running with Zoom right behind him.

"Gideon, is it just me or did Zoom's lightning color have red in it." Naruto asked.

"No, it's not you Naruto. We see it to." Kushina radioed in from the STAR labs cortex where she, Ronnie, Minato, and Dr. Wells were monitoring him. "We've got you on CCTV and the STAR labs satellite. Zoom's lightning color is red."

"Blood red. Just like Reverse-Flash." Ronnie added.

"It would seem that Zoom has somehow managed to tap into the Negative Speed Force, giving him an increase in speed. Be advised, incoming on your left." Gideon warned Naruto as he blocked Zoom's savage attacks. His tapping into the Negative Speed Force gave him an increase in speed but also made him more aggressive as his punches were filled with anger and rage. Naruto blocked a punch to the stomach but then got hit across the face before he managed to counter with a body shot to Zoom's side that pushed him back and kept running. Zoom ran after him and they continued their chase throughout the entire city. Their speed picked up to Mach 8 easy and the shockwaves they made were powerful.

"An increase in speed and an increase in rage, apparently. Let's see just how fast he got!" Naruto concentrated and summoned his speed force armor which covered his hands, forearms, and his boots causing his speed to increase. He took off like a rocket out of Central City at Mach 10 but Zoom's speed just shot up and he was able to keep up with him.

A windmill built next to a lonely two-lane highway in Missouri had seen better days and was slowly spinning, the annoying screech it made was indicative that it needed to be oiled. Then all of a sudden the windmill began spinning faster despite the weather not changing until Impulse and Zoom raced by. Their shockwaves kicking up a lot of wind as they race down Route 66. They then raced through a town in the outskirts of New Orleans with their speed causing a nearby mailbox to spin out of control like a top. From New Orleans they raced up past Washington DC until they were in New York City. Impulse smashed through a barrier of a bridge under construction with Zoom right behind him. He ran on the Thomas Jefferson Bridge which was likely this earth's version of the George Washington Bridge and saw Zoom closing in and reaching his hand out to him when they both had to sidestep a bus on the road.

Impulse kept running from the bridge to the highway alongside the Hudson river with Zoom right behind them. The two speedsters were booking it at their top speeds while also weaving in and out of the all the cars, trucks, and buses stuck on the highway at rush hour. Zoom followed Impulse as they ran through a tunnel from New York into New Jersey but when they came out, Zoom ran up a truck and jumped off. He flew through the air a bit and landed right next to Impulse where he quickly ducked an elbow to the head, got on his other side and elbowed him in the side. Impulse hit a car, causing it to come to a screeching halt but he kicked Zoom off. Zoom hit a car and then Impulse grabbed him and slammed him into another car where he landed two punches across the face but missed the third. Zoom ducked the third punch and pushed Impulse into a car before hitting him in the stomach with several quick speed punches and threw out a right cross. Impulse stopped it with an elbow block and grabbed Zoom's arm and threw him into a jeep. He managed to punch him in the jaw but Zoom then slammed him into a pickup truck and dragged him across the vehicle before punching him across the face. Impulse kicked him in the stomach and knocked him into a car where he threw out a straight jab but Zoom dodged it and punched him in the side of the head. Impulse hit the ground and rolled but quickly got back to his feet and took off running again.

Back at STAR Labs…

"Geez, Zoom's gotten faster." Minato remarked as they were monitoring the fight from STAR labs. Naruto's top speed had gotten higher since his last fight with Zoom but clearly Zoom got just as fast.

"Not only that but look at the energy build up occurring." Wells showed them the readings from Naruto's suit and there was a build up of some kind of energy every time the two came to blows.

"What is that?" Kushina asked.

"It's the Speed Force. The Speed Force charge Naruto generates when he runs is interacting with the Negative Speed Force charge of Zoom. At this rate if the energies keep clashing and getting stronger it won't be long before they react violently." Wells theorized as Ronnie looked at Naruto's tracking data in worry.

"Come on, Naruto you got this." Ronnie whispered.

Back with Naruto…

Impulse and Zoom were running through Philadelphia and still trading blows. Impulse tried elbowing Zoom but he dodged and punched Impulse in the back of the head. Impulse tumbled on the ground and skid to a stop near a park allowing him to catch his breath. He spit out some blood and held his side in pain when Zoom came from the side and punched him across the face. He then grabbed Impulse by the neck and pulled him up before landing two more punches to the stomach, back fisted him across the face and then slammed him onto the ground before kicking him in the stomach and sending him crashing into a park bench.

"You gave the people of Central City hope. They thought you were their hero…but you're not. Heroes die." Zoom taunted as Naruto managed to pull himself up onto a knee and spit out some blood.

"And what are you?" Naruto wondered.

"I'm a god…" Zoom boasted.

"I've heard that before. You're not a god." Naruto declared. "You're just a murdering psychopath with daddy issues…who was given powers he doesn't deserve. And FYI…you're not the fastest man alive."

"RAH!" Zoom charged at him in a blinding rage so Naruto focused more power into his speed force armor and blocked his punch before delivering a devastating gut punch and then a right cross that sent Zoom flying back and crashing into a car.

Naruto took some heavy breaths as using his speed force armor this long to protect him and increase his speed took a lot of stamina. He saw Zoom get up so he raced forward and the two exchanged blows before Naruto raced away with Zoom right beside him, their speed building off of one another. Impulse's positive connection to the Speed Force and Zoom's negative connection to the Negative Speed Force were like two opposing forces of a nuclear reaction and began feeding one another. The shockwaves they produced when they ran became so powerful that combined they shattered windows and made buildings shake. Impulse decided to take Zoom away from a crowded place so he changed direction and Zoom followed. Soon enough they were in the Grand Canyon which was one of the things this earth shared with his. Impulse and Zoom traded blows with one another and their Speed Force Energy began to pool around one another and react like the mixtures of a bomb.

"Naruto, we're picking up a serious build up of energy! The more you and Zoom race and your Speed Force energies connect the bigger the charge! It won't be long before it goes off!" Dr. Wells warned him.

"Good, then maybe it'll take out Zoom!" Impulse focused more power into his Speed Force armor and it slowly extend up from his forearms and legs and encompassed more of his body. "YOU WANT MY SPEED ZOOM!"

"It's mine!" Zoom declared.

"Then come and take it!" Impulse had a sudden surge of increased speed and shot ahead of Zoom for several miles before he did a quick 180 turn and ran back at him. His vision began to blue shift as he focused all his effort into his speed and into what Cisco dubbed his Infinite Mass Punch. Zoom saw what he was doing so he did the same and ran straight at him. The two speedsters closed in on one another like two racers playing a game of chicken to see who would break first but neither did.

"RAAAAAHHH!/RAAAAAHHHHHH!"

The two punches hit and like the ignition of a nuclear bomb a giant flash of light was the last thing seen from miles away before a huge explosion occurred. A giant mushroom cloud of dust erupted like a volcano while a giant bolt of lighting shot into the sky followed by a deafening crack of thunder that was likely heard on the other end of the continent. Eventually the smoke cloud started to dissipate so the immediate aftermath could be seen. What was once a flat part of the wide open desert of the Grand Canyon now had a giant crater created from the explosion of two Infinite Mass Punches meeting. It looked more like the aftermath of a massive bomb going off in the area and the size of the impact crater was a pretty good indication that if anything survived the impact it was either because they were invulnerable or got extremely lucky.

For Zoom, it was luck.

He pulled himself out of the large pile of dust and sand the explosion covered his body with. Mixed within the sand was his blood that had dripped out of his mask. Zoom managed to find the strength to push himself onto all four before settling on his knees. He took a deep breath before standing back up onto his feet only to hear several cracks throughout his body. He was in bad shape and had suffered several broken bones from the fight along with some internal bleeding and a severe concussion. With his rapid regeneration he'd be back to good in a few hours but until then he was in pain. He looked back and saw the giant crater made as a result of his attack against Impulse. The force must have knocked him back and sent him flying away from the crater until he landed on the ground which inadvertently saved him from getting caught in the center of the explosion. That likely would have killed him.

If he was knocked back from the explosion then Impulse must have been as well and in the same condition so he stumbled towards the crater to find him. Zoom stumbled and limped his way into the crater but after a few steps had the strength to walk on both feet without much of an issue. He crossed the crater and found no sign of Impulse until he arrived at the opposite edge which is where he saw Impulse's goggles lying on the ground covered in some sand. They were scorched with one of the lens having a large crack down the middle and had some crimson and white lightning flicker around them.

Zoom picked up Impulse's goggles and tightened his grip on the strap. He had his first trophy.

Back at STAR Labs…

"Wells, what happened?!" Minato shouted as they tried to get a lock onto Naruto's signature but their system wasn't able to scan the area.

"I don't know." Wells answered, trying to get the signal back.

"You don't know?!" Kushina shouted.

"I don't know!" Wells shouted back. "The combined energy from their impact sent out a shockwave that scrambled with our sensors and the satellite. We're not exactly used to configuring for these kinds of events or the energy from another dimension."

"Wells, can you get him back?" Ronnie asked him as Minato ran over to a console and opened up the back to get to the hardware.

"I can. I'm rebooting the entire system. That should bring everything back on line." Wells said as he raced over to another console and quickly did what needed to be done. "Hang on. One more second and…"

Minato pulled a lever and the entire system rebooted. "And done."

The STAR Labs system rebooted and within seconds they had a clear satellite feed and their sensor system was back up and running. "Excellent. Naruto, can you hear me?" Wells radioed in but all he got was static. "Naruto, are you there?"

"Naruto?" Kushina called out but all they could hear was static. "Gideon, is there something wrong with the comm system in his suit?"

"I can't say…I can't connect to him." Gideon replied and despite being an AI her tone was of genuine surprise and fear.

"I'm bringing up the tracking data from his suit." Minato said and all it got was nothing. The last recorded capture of the signal was at the Grand Canyon with Zoom but now they weren't getting a signal.

"No, there has to be something. Wells, get a satellite picture of the area!" Kushina shouted so he did and what they saw shocked them. They saw a massive crater easily 100 meters wide. If that was the effect of the impact Naruto and Zoom had with one another then their hopes that Naruto survived it just shrunk. "No, Naruto's still alive. If he were dead then we wouldn't be getting no signal. We'd be getting something at the very least. Maybe he opened a breach and used it to escape."

"I'm not getting any signal from his suit. Not even the multiversal tracker from his suit is projecting anything." Wells answered.

"No, he's still there." Kushina assured everyone as Minato walked over to her. "He's still alive, Minato. He's still alive. We just got him back. He's still alive. It's not fair…"

Kushina's voice started to crack as she slowly had to deal with the real possibility that Naruto was gone. Minato held her close and stifled a cry but tears slid down his cheek as he did. Wells didn't have anything to say and just bowed his head in silence as Ronnie looked at the flash drive in his hand. The last thing Naruto gave him. He just hoped it was something to help find him wherever he was now.

?

Strange.

That's how Naruto felt when he woke up. He opened his eyes and wasn't sure where he was as his mind was a bit fuzzy. He picked his head up and cracked his neck before looking around and wasn't sure where he was but it was a cramped room. There was a mirror on the wall and his reflection showed he was wearing his regular clothes which was weird because he could have sworn he was wearing his Impulse suit. He looked around the room to get a better idea of where he was when he began to recognize some things. The posters on the wall looked familiar and when he saw an old book on the desk he recognized where he was. It was his old room at Tsunade's shelter.

He stepped out of the room and walked down a hallway with some other doors before arriving in a main living room connected to a kitchen. He recognized the couch and open play area by the TV along with the front entrance. It was all exactly like he remembered the place to look like. That's when he heard some movement from the kitchen so he walked over and to his disbelief he saw Tsunade. She was cooking something and looked exactly like he remembered.

"Tsunade…"

Tsunade turned around and smiled at him. "Hello, Naruto. It's good to see you." She said as she placed a plate of cookie down on the table. "But I'm not Tsunade."

"You're not?" Naruto asked and she shook her head no. "Then all of this isn't real, is it? What is this place?"

"We thought you'd be more comfortable talking to someone who looked familiar in a place you knew." Tsunade said as Naruto got nervous so he tried channeling his speed to his fist but to his amazement he couldn't feel his powers. "I'm afraid your powers aren't working just yet."

"What are you talking about? Who's we? Where am I and where's Zoom?" Naruto asked.

"Why don't we start with your first few questions." Tsunade motioned Naruto to sit so he did before holding the plate of cookies over to him. "Cookie?"

"I'm ok." Naruto replied.

"You should have one. It'll help." Tsunade said so Naruto did. He took a bite and was amazed. It tasted like the best chocolate chip cookie he ever had. "What do you know of the Speed Force?"

"Not a lot. Just what Thawne and Gideon told me. It's the source of my power. Some kind of energy speedsters tap into that make us who we are." Naruto answered.

"Yes…and no." Tsunade replied. "When the first subatomic particle sprang forth from the Big Bang to form reality as you know it, we were there. When the last proton decays, stops vibrating, and plunges the universe into heat death, we'll be there too."

"Wait, you're saying that I'm talking to the Speed Force? The living embodiment of my powers?" Naruto asked in disbelief and Tsunade nodded. "How is that possible? Isn't that like talking to the concept of gravity or time itself?"

"In a manner of speaking. Things get strange around here. We sort of created strange." The Speed Force remarked.

"How is this possible?" Naruto muttered.

"What is the last thing you remember?"

Naruto took a moment and thought about it. "I was fighting Zoom. We were racing through the Grand Canyon. I felt myself becoming more powerful and faster then I had gone before and the same for Zoom. We launched at each other and the last thing I remember…there was this blinding flash of light…the most beautiful colors I had ever seen."

"I imagine. The Speed Force is tied to so many things when you pull back the electrical curtain and see it for what it truly is."

"And what is that?" Naruto wondered when he saw Tsunade get up. She motioned him to follow so he did and they walked to the front door. Once the door opened the same blinding flash of lights Naruto saw before came back. So many colors at once and they were all in synch with one another and it was beautiful. When the light died down and Naruto could see again he wasn't sure what he was looking at.

"Time." The Speed Force answered as she and Naruto appeared in what looked like a chaotic vortex of cosmic energy. The same flashes of colors he saw before now made up everything but scattered throughout where moments of time. Some of these moments had him while some of these moments had Barry or other speedster or not even speedsters at all and just were moments in time of other places with other people. Along with the moments of time playing throughout were scattered floating structures. One of them had an Egyptian Pyramid while another had what looked like a canyon with a crashed US airplane from the 60s. He saw what looked like an ancient Aztec temple, an old German World War 2 tank and some kind of advanced space ship. Each one was scattered around like islands of an archipelago. "All of time. Existence moving through reality. Kinetic energy. Temporal energy. A storm of intelligence that connects me to you and everything and everyone. I know this is a lot to take in so feel free to take a moment."

Naruto nodded and for a while he seemed fine. He looked out into the vortex of the Speed Force in awe and shock…before he turned around and puked.

"Yeah, we expected that to happen. Don't worry, you're not the first to do that here." The Speed Force reassured him.

"Ugh…" Naruto wiped his mouth on his sleeve. "Why did you bring me here?"

"We had nothing to do with your arrival here, Naruto. That was all you." The Speed Force told him. "And it was something we didn't see coming which is odd given what we are."

"What are you talking about?" Naruto asked when he realized what the Speed Force was talking about. "You referring to the change Thawne made to the timeline. To me."

"Yes. Thawne's changes to the timeline had dangerous side effects, including some that could have seen the destruction of the Speed Force itself but in his mad attempt of destruction…he created something far greater then he expected. A champion for the Speed Force. One who's destiny seemed to be set in stone of obscurity as a footnote compared to the Flash yet has risen to change events and the course of history." The Speed Force praised. "The first part of your journey is over. The next part begins now."

Naruto looked out at the Speed Force, unaware of what he was going to see or do. Trepidation and fear gripped his heart along with anticipation and determination. He had no idea what challenges or lessons the Speed Force had for him but he would do whatever it takes to get home.

End of Chapter 13
