How You Doing Insane Gang!
It's been a while since I did a one-shot for this collection. I just have been so busy with my other projects but don't worry I still have plenty of plans for the collection. Also wasn't that New York special so fucking good?

"Cataclysm!"
Chat hurled himself in front of Ladybug. The new Akuma sent a car flying at them. Chat used his power to breakthrough. He hissed in pain at his shoulder taking the brunt of the impact as it twisted out of his socket.
Ladybug was squeezed tight against his back, making herself as small as possible. She almost had to dodge his right arm as it swung back with a sickening twist after the car was in two pieces on either side of them.
"Chaton! Are you okay?"
His face was ashen, his right arm now hanging useless. "Tweaked something but nothing an ice pack can fix." He tried to reassure her.
She kissed his head, "Stay low, I'll finish this up."
Chat watched as she called on her power and was able to wrap it up in five minutes.
Ladybug found him hunched behind one half of the car holding his shoulder. She crouched beside him, laying a gentle hand on his forearm.
"Did the cure work? How does it feel?"
Chat winced, "Kind of, it feels better Bugaboo."
After spending countless months together, she can tell easily when her partner is lying.
"Come on Kitty, let's get going."
They raced across rooftops until they landed on top of the bakery balcony. Slipping inside, before the timers ran out.
Adrien groans as soon as Plagg is out of the ring. "Ow, okay hurts a bit more without the healing boost."
Tikki and Plagg flew down into their secret stash in a desk drawer.
"Shit, Adrien..." Marinette poked underneath his shirt to get a look at his collarbone and shoulder. "I think you dislocated it." He closed his eyes in discomfort.
She had him sit down on her bed.
"What are you waiting for? Pop it back in My Lady." He chuckled lightly, opening his eyes again to face her.
Bewildered, she unhanded him. "Are you insane! I don't know how to fix this." Marinette pulled at the ends of her hair.
"I trust you."
Mari calmed down enough to sigh at his expression. "Fine, but you need to bite down on something."
He thumps on his back and reaches behind him to grab a pillow. "Got it covered, or should I say I got it pillow-covered."
Mari rolled her eyes, "That was bad, even for you."
Adrien smothered his face before giving a thumbs up.
Marinette was by his side, firmly grabbing his wrist to start moving his arm in slow circles until he reaches 90 degrees. The only indication that her partner was in pain was the tightening grip of the pillow on top of his face.
She reached the 120 degrees and heard a slight pop. Adrien hissed. Mari released a slow breath.
"How does it feel now?"
Adrien slowly sat up and wiggled his fingers. "I can finally feel it, but still hurts to move it."
Marinette ran her fingers through his hair. "I'll get some ice and maybe a sling."
"How are you two feeling?" Adrien asked the Kwamis that were down below.
"You're gonna have to replenish our snack drawer, you're out of cheese," Plagg muttered, floating back up to his chosen.
"That's because you just ate three pieces, Stinky Sock." Tikki scolded him,
"Cut me some slack Sugar Cube, I had to heal Kitten's arm over here."
Tikki hovered over his hurt shoulder, her hand glowed a soft red before touching it. Warmth rolled down his arm.
"Thank you Tikki," Adrien sighed pleasantly.
The little Kwami giggled.
Marinette came up carrying a freezer pack and a blue sling. "Thank God that big medkit you got me has a sling in it."
She helped him ditch his overshirt so he could be more comfortable in the sling.
"That's cold Princess."
"Oh shush," She kissed his cheek, "Thank you for saving me, Kitty."
He returned the favor by a quick peck on the lips. "For you? Anything."
Getting themselves situated, they laid propped up on her bed watching a show. Marinette resting her cheek on his left shoulder, as she wrapped her arms around his. That left his hand to settle on her thigh, he occupied his time by soothing circles with his thumb.
"You better stay for dinner, so you can have more time in that sling."
Adrien nodded, "You're right I won't be able to wear this at home without my father or Nathalie freaking out."
"I already told my parents you were here, so you'll have to leave out the front door this time."
"Marinette! Adrien! Dinner!" Sabine opened the trap door slightly.
"Coming Maman." Her daughter answered.
She bit her lip. "You think you can go without the sling?"
"Gonna have to."
Marinette walked on his right side, almost unconsciously protecting his vulnerable side. The tv was on, going through today's breaking news.
"Today's top story is the Akuma fight along the Seine. Ladybug and Chat Noir arrived in no time to defeat the villain."
"That's right Nadia, we have footage of the attack by an amateur blogger, The Ladyblog."
The video was in good quality, Alya must have gotten a decent spot to film this time around as she was unhindered. You can hear her gasp when Chat took the whole impact of the car.
"It seems Chat Noir was hurt in this encounter, let's hope that he makes a full recovery. Back to you Nadia."
Adrien the whole time rubbed his shoulder. Watching the footage made his arm flare up again
"Those poor children." Sabine tsked.
"Hopefully Chat Noir makes a full recovery, he deserves after protecting Ladybug," Tom added.
"They get hurt frequently anymore especially Chat Noir."
"Well, he has to protect Ladybug right?" Adrien told Sabine. "I mean Ladybug is the only one who can fix things anyway," He tries to shrug but forgets about his shoulder, barely concealing a wince. "It's the least Chat Noir can do."
Sabine gave him a small smile. "Chat Noir is just as important, it's all about balance." She pauses slightly, "Marinette can you grab a freezer pack from the fridge and then help your Dad clean up dinner?"
She does as told, "Here you go Maman."
After she disappears into the kitchen, Sabine motions for Adrien to take a seat on the couch and hands him the pack.
"What's this for?"
"For your shoulder, of course, I can't imagine what it's like to split a car in half like that."
Adrien's eyes widen comically. "Uh...what?"
Her eyes softened. "Thank you for saving my daughter."
"You—" He cleared his throat, "You know?"
"I had my suspicions for a while now, the odd hours, the reason she was so tired, and not to mention how you two became so close all of a sudden."
The ice sloshed in the pack as his grip unintentionally tightened. "Did you tell anyone else? Does Tom know?"
Sabine calmed him by adjusting the ice pack properly against his shoulder. "No, no, my dear, just me."
Adrien sighed a breath in relief. "That's good to hear."
"Adrien, I know you think your job is to always put yourself in harm's way but there is more to balance than that."
"I can't allow her to get hurt, not when I know I can't do something about it." He swallowed thickly.
"We all do crazy or near impossible things for the ones we love don't you agree?" She made it a point to stare at his shoulder.
He hunched in on himself more, "I'd do anything to protect her."
"If I know anything about my daughter she will say the same thing about you. "You don't always have to be the shield, Marinette is tougher than you think."
"Finished the dishes Maman. Do you want to finish the movie Minou?" Marinette asked.
He smiled, "Sounds purrrfect Princess."
As she made her way up the stairs into her room, Adrien handed back the ice pack to Sabine. "Thank you, for keeping our secret and for taking care of me."
"I will always be here for you and Mari, whatever you need no questions asked."
"Some painkillers would be good right about now..." He suddenly remembered Plagg's complaint earlier. "And more cheese Camembert."
