It wasn't precedented, but Toga was here. I watched from afar beside the kirin as Sesshomaru and his father spoke to one another. unable to hear their conversation, seeing Sesshomaru getting bristled with anger, the matter to what it would have been conversed didn't hold my attention. I looked to the Kirin, renewed and feeling empty after my bath that I leapt onto the steed and headed out on my own. A strange and overbearing confidence welled in me to march forward without giving word that I couldn't figure why it was so.

[They are going to fight for your power...] hearing the Kitsune speak and feeling a jarring pain in my chest, it wasn't that I cared about it, it was that I felt nothing more than that. [You've given the son what he wanted...the father will soon want the fire as well.]
Strangely feeling unbothered even more as she spoke, I kicked the kirin into gear to move faster down the path as the scenery began to blur in colors. Invigorating and terrifying, I slowed down only after a few moments when something caught my sense of smell. Looking towards a small opening in the trees and beyond a mossy veil, a wonderous sight bloomed before me.
There was a field full of florescent white and blue flowers cascading down hills into a large valley blanketed in pristine white snow. Specks of green grass poked through the snow like wild daisies in spring. What looked like deer grazing the land were far bigger-horns as white as fresh fallen snow that curved in intricate patterns adorning them like royal crowns. Stunned to even speak and walking quietly to the edge of the field to touch the blossoms on the ground, the petals were velvet soft and a rich aroma scented off them.

"How pretty..." drawn into the flowers scent and overall the scenery, I sat down on the soft snow and was bewildered for a moment why the snow wasn't cold against my skin. Thinking nothing more as I watched the deer graze, there was one that caught my eye a distance away from the others. I could tell he was the leader of the herd. Nothing about it spoke differently compared to the others being smaller in size. His horns were intricately laced with moss that was frosted over his horns, acting almost like a small veil covering his crown. his fur was a soft gray in color, a tint of blue as he moved steadily towards me with curiosity. Not moving, keeping a steady gaze on the beast coming towards me, I could see mroe features a little more clearly as his eyes were like deep pools of ice water.

[Child, I am Ame-no-Kaku...you come to my realm in search of something?]

A voice gently probed my head as I somehow knew it was his. Head down as a strong presence of someone revered was before me and I placed my hands in a diamond shape on the ground before his hooves followed by a bow.

"I did not come seeking anything...merely drawn to the beauty of this place." Answering in kind, a cold air crawled down my back as I felt something soft press the back of my nape and deciphered it to be his nose pressing onto me.

[Child...you are not from the kitsune clan...mortal...] slight disdain-but also yet some confusion-it nudged me to look up. [Why do you harbor the kitsune when you are mortal?]

Unable to answer right away, he bowed his head to mine and brushed his forehead against me when I felt a shock run through my skull. Unable to move away, stuck against him, I felt something tear inside of me and blacked out.
