"Now what on Earth are you doing out here alone?" A familiar voice broke out through the silence, turning her head toward the sound.

She'd snuck out the back door not long after her previous encounter, the crisp night air providing her with just the solace she required to keep her sanity. Figuring it wouldn't take long before someone noticed she had gone, she all but expected this, however it wasn't someone she thought would come looking.

"This party kind of blows, doesn't it?" Ana shrugged from the stoop, "Figured I'd get a head start home soon."

Reid's brows drew together slightly, unsure of why but knowing that she wasn't giving up the real reason.

"As much as that's true, I get the nagging feeling that it's a little more than that."

Staring back at him blankly without saying a word, she shifted her look back up toward the sky.

Everything was wrapped in quiet for a beat before he plopped down beside her on the brick stair.

"You're gonna make me pry it out of you, huh?"

"You know damn well I can't make you do anything, Reid."

His lips spread into a small smile, releasing a low chuckle, admiring the moonlight that shown on her face and only then being able to note the light freckles that kissed the bridge of her nose with their close proximity. She could keep his attention all night. Looking back at him then, her eyes squinted at catching him in a stare, saying she thought he had plans with "that" girl, which was true that he did, but it also wouldn't mean a thing for him to never drop by. He could sleep just as easy changing his night to be spent with her and her alone. She happened to be far more interesting than any other girl to him, though he was fully aware she'd never believe it.

It was then that his gaze noticed her wrist, the purple trauma developing all the more obvious as the hours had passed by, eyes lowering and she swore she'd never seen eyes so dark with rage. He stood hastily, angling his body in the direction the door, seething.

"Did Aaron do this?"

"Reid, don't. I'm fine-" She started, standing quickly and with hands pressed to his chest.

"I don't give a shit if you say you're fine, Ana," He spat, malice dripping from every word, "I'm not."

"I'm serious, don't waste your time with that asshole, alright?" She pleaded, "He isn't worth it."

Inch by inch he had her back to the wall, that all too familiar compromising position causing her head to stir, heart beginning to pound furiously on cue with a breath catching in her throat. Immediately flustered with her nervous hands shaking among the copious anticipation, his baby blues were soft and filled with concern as he peered down at her. It amazed her how his eyes were the world's brightest, most refreshing swim in the sea and they seemed to have no limit to their depth. She never wanted to leave.

"Swear you're alright?" He whispered, forehead now resting against hers.

Managing to swallow, Ana gave a nod, knowing full well that her voice would only betray her.

Large hands moved to hold the sides of her face, almost studying her as his eyes traveled lower and opted to flick between her eyes and pink pout, lips hovering painfully exactly where she wanted to feel them and she could still smell the whisky on his breath until finally, she tastes it, sighing into him.

Pressing her body flush to his, he deepened the embrace, kissing her once and then twice until she knew she'd never be able to have enough.

"Still wanna get out of here, right?" The question was asked shallowly against her lips, though he already knew the answer.

"Please."

Taking her hand, they disappeared from sight as he led her down the pathway of the short, dark walk back to the dormitory. The time had sufficiently racked up to about one in the morning, moon showing brightly as a stark contrast to the bleakness of their surroundings and as if an unseen force was watching, a streak of lightning broke apart the blackened sky. The clouds began to cry like clockwork, the immediate downpour cold and unforgiving while they quickened their pace and made haste to get inside. Ana couldn't help the laugh that eased out as she shook the water from her hands, droplets landing in all directions of the wooden floor.

Shutting the world out with the door clicking closed behind them, he'd approached his dresser as she let her sight wander the room, it being drawn to his desk. A photo of Reid and his parents as a small child, most likely around the age of four and outfitted with a black frame, a glass Yuengling cup holding some pencils, stacks of his favorite albums ready to be played. The floor beside it had a crumpled school uniform, the organized chaos exuding exactly his personality it seemed.

"Dry shirt?" He asked, pulling her from her thoughts, holding up an Iron Maiden t-shirt and tossing it her way.

With quiet thanks she had gone into the bathroom for some privacy, leaving the door open just a crack, just enough that he could spot her reflection changing in the mirror. He himself had changed quickly, shamelessly taking the opportunity he was given to take a peek. Her back was turned, yet he still found himself observing every minimal movement as she removed her soaked jeans and blouse, opting to simply wear the shirt he'd provided and supplying him with quite the thrill as he felt his heart pound an inkling harder.

Wringing her hair out over the sink, she'd caught his eye in the mirror, offering up a smile with a rosy nose.

He had never had the pleasure of meeting someone whose soul was bursting with such pure, undiluted happiness.

Unable to help himself, he allowed himself to take in her beauty, eating her up with his gaze no doubt while he stood from the bed, intending to meet her halfway at the entrance of the bathroom yet she backtracked automatically.

With an annoyed sigh, his hands slapped against his sides with a second of defeat.

"What are you so afraid of? Why do you always keep your distance from me?"

"Jesus, because Reid! I can't think and I can't breathe with you looking at me like that!"

Taken aback for but a moment, his brows furrowed in concentration. His mouth opened partway multiple times, questioning if he should ask the words sizzling at the end of his tongue because ultimately, maybe he wouldn't want to know the answer. But he knew if he didn't ask now, the uncertainty would most definitely drive the knife in deeper.

"Then what do you want, huh?" He requested, "Tell me, Analeigh. Just say it."

The moment he took a step closer toward her her feet instinctively stepped back as she tested the strength of her own will power to not inhale the ever enticing combination of his two distinct scents, subconscious hollering inside her head don't stand so close to me because the hunger she's worked at so unsparingly to simply ignore is grievous, tearing her open to just give in, kiss him; feed me.

"You."

She'd whispered, tugging his body against hers by the faded corners of his Metallica t-shirt and tasting the sudden urgency on his lips. The pull forward caused him to lose his balance for only a moment, steadying himself with his hands landing at her hips and those inviting chills coursed through her at the rough touch. Ana's lungs burned for air yet she refused to pull back, not yet, not this time, her thin fingers climbing into his smooth hair as he swallowed her sigh.

"Don't say anything else unless you want me to stop." He stated, voice low, gruff.

Reid waited half a second for any sign of protest and she didn't utter a word, sparks playing behind her eyes like a lighter because there's just something about a kiss that leads to more, making his descent toward the nape of her neck and onward.

His veins were throbbing throughout every inch of his body, her arching back pushing against him with every touch he left on her skin, dissolving into him.

Trailing a single fingertip over the sharp curve of his jawline, a smile tugged at her lips as Reid swallowed thickly in anticipation. Leaning forward slightly, her warm sigh fanned against his neck, supple lips gracing the skin just below his jaw. Exhaling slowly, his body shivered with the adrenaline pounding in his bloodstream, eyelids closing to focus only on the feeling of her drawing a deep, rugged moan from his throat.

His hands gripped at the curvature of her hips, anything to hold onto and just when he was positive he couldn't take much more of the tantalizingly cruel affection on his neck, her lips landed atop his. Damp, blonde strands fell forward, tickling his cheek before he easily tucked them behind Ana's ear, burrowing his hands into her roots and using his thumbs to gently stroke her cheekbones. Lips parting to take a breath, he took the opportunity to let his hands skim down her sides toward her hips, fingers loosely gripping at the hem of the fabric resting there and when they found it, slipping the t-shirt from her form and attaching his lips to her now visible collarbone. Ana's neck craned upwards, giving him just the access that he was craving, a slight moan falling from her lips as he teased her and feathering kisses along her neckline and back up toward her jaw, submission being something he needed in a woman.

Skin feeling as if it had been set ablaze, she began clutching at the hem of his shirt feverishly now, Reid lifting his arms over his head as she tugged the gray cotton from his torso. Worn, calloused fingers danced across her soft, smooth skin, hands ghosting over the exposed skin of her thighs, hooking underneath them and drawing her closer. Goosebumps raised on her flesh in a trail following after his fingertips, a telling road map of precisely where he'd been and letting loose a feral groan when he pulled on her hair before lifting her easily, transferring her to the bed. Tossing her down roughly as the fluffy blue duvet consumed her, it felt cool to the touch from the air conditioning, a complete contrast from their searing skin and making her painfully aware of just how much they'd increased the temperature between them. Climbing atop her expectant form, he allowed his hands to run along her legs and up toward her neckline, as if memorizing every inch of the contours of her body solely through the pads of his fingertips. Lips crashing against hers, he reunited the lost contact and she didn't think twice to loop her fingers at the top of his black sweatpants as they slid down his legs with ease, kicking them to the floor.

Her breathing hitched, the enticing thrill pulsing through her body with the feel of his two scorching hands pushing her hips down against that mattress, curling a finger around the brim of her panties before discarding them carelessly, needing them gone. With a smile against his lips, she quickly turned them around to allow herself to straddle his lap once more, rolling her hips gently and swallowing his low, gruff sigh as her mouth covered his. Languidly sliding a strap down her shoulder from the black, lace bra cupping her breasts, he placed an open-mouthed kiss on the flesh there before tossing the fabric aimlessly to the floor. Inevitably arching into his caressing touch of the delicate skin down her sides, she felt like satin beneath his fingertips, her resolve crumbling with every tender touch he left as her head fell backwards with a breathy sigh.

Reid teased the sensitive exposed flesh just above her breasts with more simmering, open-mouthed kisses, their shallow breaths becoming a constant while her nails raked down the smooth skin of his back. Arms wrapping around his neck, one hand's thin digits climbed into his fiery, blonde locks, burying her moans into his shoulder and moving in a synchronized pace.

Before she even knew it, he had her turned around and on all fours, her utilizing the headboard as leverage and pushing back into him, pleading for him not to stop.

The room was consumed in warmth, his rough touch sending her into euphoria and she could curse at everything for denying herself of this, of him, for so long when it was exactly what she had wanted for awhile. It was never her intention to become another notch on his bedpost but it seemed that it was the only way to be allowed intimacy with him.

She was so tired and his lips were so soft and nobody had ever kissed her like that before, touched her like that before, so much harder, deeper with this urgent need she'd never experienced. It was as though every other boy she'd bothered with until then was pointless and wrong, deliberating inside herself if she had possibly just made a mistake because she'd dipped her toes in the water and ended up drowning in him.
