Remember We'll Be History

Twenty-Eight: War

The Shire-Bag End

Bungo was being visited by a lot of people today and he didn't know if he should be happy about this.

'I don't think Bungo is happy with seeing all of us,' Letty told Dom.

'He is always like this, but it's important,' Old Took told her.

"Do you need more help?" Tris asked Bungo.

"Of course not, sit down," Bungo said.

"Well, if she can't help, I can," Dis said with a smile.

"Save me from the stubbornness of Dwarves," Bungo said and Dis laughed following him inside the kitchen.

"Not that it's my business that you are here Thain, but is something the matter?" Tris asked him.

"I'm here to let both of you know, what is going on in the East," Old Took told her.

"It must be something terrible,"

"I will wait until Bungo gets here to tell you the news,"

"Very well I understand," though part of her wanted to shake the Hobbit as it was news about her son, and she was worried.

"Now, what news did you have Sherlock told me that they seemed to be in danger," Bungo told him.

"War," Old Took told them. Dis and Tris looked at each other.

"The Elves and Man?" Dis asked because it's the only thing that could cross her mind.

"No, Orcs, it seems that they have amassed an army to go there, the news that Erebor is without a Dragon has begun to travel and it has arrived to ears of the enemy?" The Old Took told them.

"The enemy is gone?" Bungo said he was a well learned Hobbit and his daughter did not keep him ignorant of the outside world no matter, how well he could pretend to be.

"No, it seems he has awoken, or something is stirring," Old Took told him. The forest had been a bit active that he had to tell the Hobbits to stop some of them going through.

"Is there something we can help with?" Bungo asked.

"I am not certain, but I am preparing some seeds, if they win, they will need to build up their stores," Old Took told him. Dis and Tris knew that they would have to start making their own plans as they would have to go toward the Lonely Mountain soon.

"We should also expect that things would become complicated," Dis said.

"Complicated is not something we think about," Bungo told her.

"This just means we have many things to do," Old Took told them.

"We have to get the caravans ready," Tris told her daughter.

Mordor

"Do you really think we should interfere," Talon asked he was worried they would call something they shouldn't as they had begun to clear some of the Orc teams.

"We must the enemy is awakening and that does not bring good news," Celebrimbor told him.

"How thought?" Talon asked

"The One Ring is out there," Celibrimbor told him. "Someone has it and 'he' knows it,"

"They will be brought here,"

"Unless we bring them here ourselves," Celebrimbor told him.

"We are kidnapping them," Talon said with a raised brow.

"Do you have any other idea,"

"Well let's go and find out,"

Erebor

"Were-worms," Gandalf said.

The armies were looking into the field, and they saw the way the were-worms were giving leeway to the Orc's coming in.

"You did say it was an adventure," Bella laughs.

'Joking at a time like this?' Sherlock asked with a smile. They both smiled at each other. Thorin looked toward his wife and saw the smile she shared with the air, and it hurt him that he had lost the ability to hear and see Sherlock as well. He shook his head and knew that he had to get his head in the game.

The three armies looked at the field and the Elves began to release arrows to let them fly and hit their opponents as fast as they could. The Dwarves held the shields up to cover them from any issues and they arrow's coming toward them. The Old Souls that were with them were looking around as well and they were getting ready. Unknown to many they would be able to get involved in the war.

The fight began and Bella was glad that the sick and weak were kept in the Mountain as a lot of the Orcs were heading to Dale looking for people to attack as well.

"They are going into the towns, ask Thranduil if he can bottle neck them around there," Bella told Tauriel.

"Yes," Tauriel said, she moved toward where she knew Thranduil would be.

Thranduil was fighting side by side with Bard and they were surprised of many of the orcs coming forward.

"They are too many," Thranduil told them.

"They are coming to the town," Bard told him, and he breathed in before his eyes changed. It was a known fact that Old Souls during high stress situation got some of their old abilities back. In this case the King of Vampires got his abilities back and the bats that had been listening to the orcs changed direction and began to attack them.

"I missed doing that," Bard told Thranduil.

"I believe it," he said and moved at an incredible speed ripping into the Orcs if some of them shook as if something hit them with currents of electricity.

"My King," they both looked up to see Tauriel coming their way.

"What is it?" Thranduil asked.

"Bella mentioned that many of the Orcs are coming this way," Tauriel told him.

"We'll be ready," Bard said moving the bats to attack the Orcs.

Hunter was looking around the field making sure that his son was safe as well. He had noticed that some Orcs looked weird they had something going on and attacking their own. He also had noticed a figure that seemed to be moving.

"Move," Hunter told some of the Humans and they moved as a unit.

'This is something I could get un-used to,' Tony told Glorfindel as they were fighting together.

"You are right," Glorfindel replied and began to take one of the Orc's down. They met with Hunter, who looked at them.

"They are heading to Ravenhill," Hunter told them.

"Bella is looking to follow," Glorfindel answered knowing it would happen and turned to look for their Hobbit.

"She is over there," Tony told him, having found her. They all turned to look like Bella took control of one of the goats and began to follow Thorin and the boys toward Ravenhill.

"Let's go," Hunter said.

Bella was calling them every name in the book; she couldn't believe that Thorin would be so stupid.

"He is just trying to finish this," Sherlock told her logically.

"I'm trying to get him not to die," Bella told him.

"Well calling him every name in the book is not going to help," Sherlock told her.

Thorin on the other hand had begun to fight Blorg as his nephews were fighting to keep other Orcs back.

"Uncle they keep coming," Kili told him.

"We have to keep them back," Fili said.

"Uncle is getting closer to getting this done," Kili said moving and saw his Starlight coming his way as well.

Thorin look at Blorg and knew that he must finish this fight, it would help with all the trouble that he had caused. He heard the Orc curse at him, but he didn't care, and they moved around. He had just hoped that Bella was safe or as safe as she could be. He was pushed down and stuck on the side. He did not expect to see someone barreled into Bolrg, he couldn't sit up but saw the copper hair and he screamed out.

"Bella!" he screamed just to see two arrows imbed into the Orc and the Elf Prince running to help her.

Bella got up and looked toward the Elf prince as he had saved her life and that of her husband.

"I must thank you," she mentioned.

"You don't have to Miss," Legolas said with a smile. She turned and saw that Thorin was grabbing his side.

"You are injured," Bella told him.

"Your okay," he said grabbing at her hand, Bella looked down before looking up.

"The Eagles are coming,"
