Part six of my six part series 'The Fall of Smash'. After waiting for so long, Ganondorf sets forth his plan into action that will alter the course of the Smash Bros tournament forever. Will the smashers be able to stop him or is this the end? Rated T for blood and content that is not suitable for children. Set during the Smash 4 era.

14. Chapter 13

The morning sun has arisen over the Smash Bros Mansion, but inside it was quiet and dark. Inside one room, the red-clad plumber awoke with his brother as they then immediately dressed and grabbed their phones before ringing the Creator's number.

"Mario, what-a will we do if Master Hand says to remain in our rooms?" Luigi asked his older brother as Mario bit his lip and hanged his head down towards the ground.

"I don't-a know Luigi, we have-a never been in a situation like this before." Mario confessed as he dreaded the answer that would soon await him and the others.

"Good morning Mario." the voice from the other side of the phone said as Mario then motioned for Luigi to remain quiet.

"Good-a morning Master Hand, Luigi and I were just-a wondering if it is safe to exit our rooms already?" Mario asked. A few moments of silence followed as the two plumbers crossed their fingers in hope of Master Hand finding it safe.

"It should be safe now, just make sure to inform everyone else and investigate the mansion in case there may have been a break in." Master Hand responded as Mario and Luigi sighed in relief before smiling as Mario lifted the phone closer to his face.

"Thank-a you Master Hand! We'll-a tell everyone over the intercom about the news!" Mario said as he hung up the phone.

"Well, at least we have-a good news this time!" Luigi said as Mario then opened the door as Luigi followed.

"Yes, but there is-a work to do. We'll get-a Snake, Megaman, and R.O.B. to help us on our investigation." Mario said.

"Do you-a think that someone could have-a broken into the mansion?" Luigi asked as Mario looked to the other side of the hall and shook his head.

"At this-a point, anything is-a possible. We will have to-a talk with this to the mayor soon-a enough!" Mario stated as he and Luigi continued on their way.

"Urgghhh..." a moan came out as Ness rolled onto his left side, desperately trying to fall back to sleep, but to no avail. The night had been storming away, the cracking lightning keeping the young boy up as he tried his hardest to fall to sleep the night before. Still, even after all that he had been through, he could not comprehend the thought of a murderer being on the loose. While there were some "questionable" smashers in the tournament who would very well be considered murderers, they were on a complete watch. But whoever this was, he can not be easily determined. This left Ness with a awful state of mind before heading to bed as he had trouble all night long. Suddenly, a loud noise soon rang out across the hallways of the mansion.

"Good-a morning smashers! It is-a safe to come out now, we'll be discussing about how the day will-a go." Mario's voice then came over the intercom as Ness then opened his eyes and began climbing down from his bed. The other boys then began to stir as Ness put on his shorts and t-shirt as they likewise began changing into their clothes.

"Did you have a good night's sleep Ness?" Toon Link asked as Ness shook his head.

"Nope. I could barely sleep as the thought of the murderer kept me up most of the night." Ness confessed as Lucas nodded his head.

"Same, I couldn't even get a wink of sleep!" Lucas said as he yawned.

"Well, I'm glad we don't have to be locked up in this room anymore! I don't think I can survive another minute being cooped up with this copier!" Young Link said as he pointed at Toon Link, the latter shaking his head in complete embarrassment. The boys then finished changing and left the room as they walked down to the dining room. Once they got there, they found it to be empty save for cereal, fruit, and oatmeal packages.

"Huh. Guess this is all we have this morning." Ness said as he took a bowl and began grabbing his cereal.

"Mario and Luigi were probably released only a while ago, so this is to be suspected." Lucas added as he grabbed an apple from the table top. The dining room doors then opened as Samus and Bayonetta then walked in, carrying the Pokémon that invaded their room last night. They then let the Pokémon down as they ran to grab their breakfast as Trainer Red and Charizard then came in as Trainer Red then sighed in relief seeing his other two Pokémon.

"Well thank goodness that Squirtle and Ivysaur are safe." Red said as the two Pokémon began munching down on their fruit that they had selected as Samus and Bayonetta then greeted the trainer with a warm smile.

"How's it going Red, did Charizard take care of you?" Bayonetta asked as Red then gritted his teeth.

"NO! He basically whined and squirmed the entire night!" Trainer Red said as Charizard lowered his head in a pout.

"Char..." Charizard said as Trainer Red turned around and glared at the fire-type.

"NO! YOU DID NOT NEED TO BE WITH THE LADIES LAST NIGHT! YOU NEEDED TO BE WITH ME! YOUR TRAINER! GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL BEFORE WE ALL ARE IN DANGER!" Trainer Red shouted before storming off to grab breakfast. Charizard then looked at the floor in embarrassment as Samus and Bayonetta then giggled at his expression.

"Aw, did you want attention too Charizard?" Samus asked as Charizard then looked up and nodded his head.

"Char." Charizard answered truthfully.

"Then let's give it to him Samus deary!" Bayonetta said as she and Samus then leaned forward and kissed Charizard on the side of the cheek as the fire-type then widened his eyes before smiling and wagging his tail.

"Char! Char!" Charizard said as the two women petted him on the head as they laughed at his happiness. Pikachu and Pichu then looked up from their breakfast and saw Charizard getting all the attention before mumbling and pouting to themselves as they returned to their food.

Well, it-a seems that everyone is all right..." Mario said as he and Luigi stepped out of the kitchen, checking up on the supply outside.

"Good morning Mario, did you sleep well?" Bayonetta asked as Mario shook his head.

"No, I don't-a think anyone slept well last night..." the plumber said as he looked around and saw everyone still quiet uncertain as they took their breakfast as more smashers came in.

"Well, at least at the thought of a murderer on-a the loose..." Luigi said as Mario sighed in agreement.

"That-a be the truth. It-a can't get worse than this..." Mario said.

"ALRIGHT! I WANT WAFFLES WITH SYRUP AND EXTRA SUGAR!" a voice shouted from outside the dining room doors as Mario facepalmed himself.

"I opened my-a mouth..." he said as King Dedede barged into the room, looking crankier than Cranky Kong as he waddled over to the food table only to cry in disgust as he grabbed his throat and gasped for air before his face turned red from anger and began searching the room.

"OK! WHERE ARE THOSE MARIO BROS.! THEY HAVE SOME NERVE PUTTING OUT NOTHING BUT CEREAL AND OATMEAL FOR BREAKFAST!" King Dedede shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Dedede, this is not the morning to be acting like this..." Ganondorf said rather calmly this time around as the rest of the villain smashers entered the dining room and began grabbing their food and sitting at their table. King Dedede then turned around, angrier than usual, motioning towards the breakfast table and what was on it.

"GANONDORF, THESE HERE TWO CINDERBLOCKS FOR BRAINS HAVE BEEN LAZY AND GAVE US NOTHING BUT THE BARE BONES OF WHAT COULD BE CONSIDERED 'FOOD'! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KEEP MY STRENGTH UP!" King Dedede shouted.

"What strength to-a begin with..." Mario mumbled as King Dedede then turned and glared at the plumber as multiple dark rings began to form around his eyes.

"You haven't won a single battle this whole tournament. You even lost to-a Pichu and Olimar, and he didn't even have any Pikmin..." Luigi mumbled as well as King Dedede narrowed his eyes at the green-clad plumber before throwing his hands in the air.

"THAT DOES IT! I'M GONNA CLOBBAH BOTH OF YOU INTO PASTE TO BE SERVED IN ONE OF YOUR ITALIAN DISHES!" King Dedede yelled as he raised his hands above his head. The Mario Bros., however, were unmoved as King Dedede was about to let go.

"AHHHH!" he yelled.

"Mewtwo?" Ganondorf sighed in disappointment as the psychic Pokémon then groaned in frustration before his eyes glowed blue and stopped Dedede's fists from landing on the Mario Bros. Mewtwo then began to telekinetically use Dedede's hands to punch the penguin continuously in the face as Wario began to laugh obnoxiously at the penguin's embarrassment.

"WHY ARE-A YOU HITTING YOURSELF!? WHY ARE-A YOU HITTING YOURSELF!? A HAHAHAH!" Wario laughed as Mewtwo then had a noticeable vein popping out of his head as he stopped King Dedede from pummeling himself as the penguin fell to the floor before tearing up and crying in humiliation.

"IT'S JUST NOT FAIR! HOW COME I NEVER AM ALLOWED TO GET MY WELL DESERVED REVENGE!?" King Dedede whined as Ganondorf then grabbed the penguin by the throat and began to choke Dedede a little as Dedede gasped for air.

"Because every time you want revenge, it is just petty and serves no purpose..." Ganondorf said calmly, instead of his usual angry self as he brought Dedede near to his face.

"Besides, the Mario Bros. have their reason for serving us this from the events of yesterday, remember?" Ganondorf said as Dedede widened his eyes before turning them into an angry glare.

"I DON'T CARE THAT SOMEONE DIED! I JUST WANT EVERYONE TO SERVE ME LIKE THE KING I...ACCCKKK!" King Dedede gasped as Ganondorf tightened his grip around the penguin's neck before changing faces from a calm to a scowl.

"You listen here you fat, idiotic reject of a villain…" Ganondorf said as King Dedede began to cry.

"You will eat whatever is here and present and you will not complain about it ever again unless you want the rest of us to tie you up in the work-out room and use you as our personal punching bag...again." Ganondorf warned as King Dedede's widened in fear as he remembered what happened the last time they did that to him.

"Do you understand?" Ganondorf asked, returning to a more calm demeanor as King Dedede nodded his head.

"Good, now sit down!" Ganondorf commanded as he let go of King Dedede as Dedede crawled over to the villain's table as the rest of the villain smashers laughed at him.

"What a wimp!" Dark Pit laughed.

"Couldn't handle a cockroach even!" Wolf mocked as Dedede began to cry.

"HA HA! LOSER!" Bowser Jr. antagonized as he laughed in his seat.

"Don't be mocking Dedede now Jr., he is still ranked seventh in our group while you are dead last at eighth!" Ganondorf stated as Bowser Jr. then stopped laughing and glared at Ganondorf before stomping his foot in anger.

"HEY! THAT'S NO FAIR! I DESERVE TO BE RANKED HIGHER!" Bowser Jr. yelled as King Dedede laughed at the Koopaling.

"HA HA! EAT IT LOSER!" King Dedede mocked right back at the young prince.

"But believe me, it was difficult to rank you two in accordance in last place. You both are terrible..." Ganondorf said as both of the villain smashers then glared at the Gerudo.

"HEY!" they both shouted as the other villain smashers laughed at their expense. The rest of the smashers then groaned as they focused on their breakfast as Master Hand then entered the room and looked around.

"Well, the villain smashers are up for once. That is good because I require some assistance from them..." Master Hand said as everyone's ears then perked up and looked at him with a strange look.

"Huh?" Luigi said as he raised an eyebrow at Master Hand.

"Well, as you know about the certain...er...events yesterday, the media will be paying special attention to us since the...er...person they are looking for is from one of our homeworlds..." Master Hand explained as Fox's ears lowered in shame as Falco had a visible face of disgust.

"Oh yeah..." they both said, remembering that the murderer came from their world.

"For this reason, I will require the assistance of several smashers to go to town hall and talk to they mayor about the situation. Mario, Luigi, Samus, and Snake are my chosen smashers." Master Hand said.

"WHAT!?" Snake yelled out in shock.

"But Master Hand, we have-a so much work to do! Me in-a particular!" Mario protested.

"I know, but I have decided to give that work to Link and Fox. They need to know how to run things as well in case they want to help run things." Master Hand explained as Mario lowered his head.

"I understand. But...but..." Mario stuttered.

"But what Mario?" Master Hand asked. Mario then looked up and around the room before he spotted Peach. His heart then ached as he longed to finally talk to her and get everything settled with her and refix their relationship. But he also knew that now wasn't the time to focus on things that were not too important to the main issue. There was a murderer still on the loose and he needed to be the main man and help everyone around him remain calm, even if it meant giving up to fix his own personal relationship for a little bit longer. The plumber then bit his lip and sighed before bowing his head again.

"Nevermind, it-a was not important..." Mario said as Master Hand looked at him suspiciously, but eventually shrugged it off as he turned to Samus.

"Please where your battle armor just in case things turn south and something awful happens." he advised as the bounty hunter nodded her head obediently.

"THIS IS JUST SOME ATTEMPT AT REVENGE FOR ME!" Snake suddenly bursted as Master Hand then tightened his...uh...fist...before turning around and pointing at the soldier.

"Oh yeah, where have you been hiding? I still need to beat the snot out of you for breaking the rules and smoking in the mansion." Master Hand stated as Snake began to sweat profusely as he did his best to come up with a good excuse.

"Umm...well...uh...where's Crazy Hand?" Snake squeaked as Master Hand then looked up and surveyed the room before groaning in frustration.

"Nowhere here, where could he be?" Master Hand wondered.

"So...why are we involved?" Dark Pit suddenly spoke up as Master Hand was brought out of his thoughts.

"Oh yes! Ganondorf, Bowser, and Wario, you three are to be body guards for the smashers as they go to the mayor today." Master Hand explained.

"WHAT!?" the three afore mentioned villains yelled.

"You heard me, now no complaining." Master Hand stated as he grabbed a cup from off the breakfast table and began pouring himself some coffee.

"AW! WHY DO WE HAVE-A TO BE THE ONES!?" Wario whined.

"Because you three have the most muscle of your 'group' that will certainly push back the crowds in case someone tries to get close." Master Hand explained as he took a sip of his coffee.

"So we are nothing more than tools for your plan? Only useful in your eyes when we can benefit you?" Ganondorf questioned as a quiet laugh escaped from Master Hand as he took another sip from his coffee.

"Why yes, that is exactly what you are!" Master Hand said.

"Too bad that this will be your downfall!" Ganondorf thought to himself as he gritted his teeth in 'response' to Master Hand's answer before turning his head to the side and crossing his arms.

"Don't take us for granted Master Hand. People do want to see us in this tournament, despite what you think and have been vocal about." Ganondorf sneered as Master Hand then began to read a newspaper that he picked up from the mail this morning.

"Oh, I'm aware Ganondorf. It's just that none of you wanted to make peace with the heroes after all these years. Consider that as why I am not fond of you villain smashers." Master Hand stated as he read his paper.

"Well, what-a are we waiting for? Let's-a go!" Mario said as he, Luigi, Samus, and Snake then began to leave the dining room to collect their gear as everyone waved them goodbye as Ganondorf, Bowser, and Wario then grumbled as they grabbed their food and walked back to the villain smasher's table. However, despite the sour looks on their faces, their minds had different emotions as they spoke to one another telepathically.

"That fool!" Ganondorf laughed in his mind.

"He will never see this one coming!" Mewtwo said as the other villain smashers began to laugh telepathically.

"To the end of Master Hand!" Wolf said as the villain smashers then began rejoicing as they pretended to eat their food in the foulest of moods. Across the room, the children smashers were looking at Master Hand and discussing amongst themselves about the hand's mood.

"Master Hand seems awfully worried." Popo said.

"Yeah! I never seen him so worried for his brother before!" Lucas said.

"What could we do to help him?" Toon Link asked.

"What else? Find Crazy Hand!" Ness stated.

"But where could he be? Even Master Hand doesn't know where he is!" Villager said.

"As smart as Master Hand is, he lacks the creativity most of the time. Even since the beginning." Ness stated.

"Are you sure we can deduce where Crazy Hand is? Maybe he isn't even here." Toon Link suggested.

"No, he is here. He would never run away. Especially when he has loads of alcohol in the mansion somewhere." Ness said as the children smashers returned to their meals and took a couple of bites before stopping their munching and facepalming themselves the hardest they had ever done.

"Of course! He must have a special drinking area in this mansion!" Lucas said.

"Do you think we can find it?" Nana asked.

"I have no doubt we can. Once we find Crazy Hand, we'll tell him what has happened. Now come on! Let's go catch a hand!" Ness said as he swallowed the last of his breakfast and took off as the other children smashers did likewise before running from the dining room, which gained the attention of the other smashers.

"Pfft. Stupid kids." Mewtwo said as he took a sip of his coffee.

"Oh, by the way, Mewtwo and King Dedede are washing the dishes since Mario and Luigi are gone." Master Hand stated. King Dedede spat out his food in an instant after he heard the word 'wash' as Mewtwo opened his eyes widely before spewing out his coffee all over the table and other villain smashers' food as they began to glare at the Pokémon.

"WHAT!?" both would be washers yelled as Master Hand then poured himself another cup of coffee.

"Yep, and I expect them done in about an hour. So I would get to it." Master Hand said as King Dedede then fell down of the table and began crying his tears out. Mewtwo, on the other hand, had his vein popping back out as his eyes began to glow blue before he threw his hands into the air.

"THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!" he yelled as everyone else laughed at his misery.

"Are we sure that we have to do this? Meowth." the cat-Pokémon said.

"YES! You heard Giygas's orders! If we don't bring it back, we are ruined!" another voice snarled as a couple of people then came into a large, empty stone room with a sand bottom. The people were Leon, Krystal, Panther, Jessie, James, and Meowth. The group then looked around the room as they were intrigued by the fact that such a room held in relative darkness could seem filled with life still, as if someone was watching them from the darkness. The Star Wolf crew then pulled out their flashlights and began searching around the floor of the room while Jessie helped the mercenaries. However, James and Meowth stood back and were quivering as they could not help the feeling of being utterly scared out of their wits, which did not go unnoticed by their fellow party.

"JAMES! MEOWTH! GET YOUR USELESS BUTTS BACK TO SEARCHING!" the red-headed Pokémon abuser yelled as the two shivering cowards then leapt ten feet into the air and hugged each other before falling completely onto their rear ends as they began to sweat profusely from the female's anger towards them.

"HEY! IT'S...IT'S NOT OUR FAULT!" James tried to say confidently.

"Yeah! This place gives me the creeps! I still don't know why we have to work with those boneheads!" Meowth stated as the Star Wolf team glared back at the feline Pokémon.

"For your information, we are trained and expert trackers, so we perfectly fit this job!" Krystal said.

"Which means we are more important to the mission then you are!" Leon scowled as James and Meowth then relaxed a little and reclined back.

"But how are we ever supposed to find it here in this place!?", James asked.

"Yeah! It will take us a million years before we can...YEEEEEEEEOOOOOOWWWWWWW!" Meowth suddenly screamed as he jumped twenty feet into the air before falling back down and landing face first into the ground as the others then looked at where he jumped from before smiling and reaching down, digging away the sand, and picking up the item as Meowth then looked up in pain from the position he was lying at.

"Good job Meowth! You finally did something right!" Jessie said as Leon held the object up as everyone else admired it while Meowth then scratched his head in confusion.

"But it's just a sword..." Meowth stated as he noticed the weird sword that seemed to have jagged edges every so often on the sword, making it look somewhat similar to a lightning bolt if looking from afar. However, Leon just smiled evilly before looking at the Pokémon.

"Ohhhhh...it's not what's on the outside that counts, but what is on the inside that counts..."

Mario and Luigi were waiting in front of the train in the garage of the mansion as the two plumbers tapped their feet impatiently and looked at their watches.

"Hurry up everyone! We-a don't have much time!" Mario said as he looked at the door to the inside of the mansion.

"How do you think that the media will-a react to this?" Luigi asked his older brother as the red-clad plumber then gave a sad sigh.

"As-a much I want to believe that they will be truly honest, I don't-a see that and instead see that they will twist it much more than it-a oughta be." Mario confessed as Luigi shrugged his shoulders.

"Then I-a guess we are sheep heading to the slaughter then if they are to-a lie..." the younger of the two said.

"Unfortunately, yes..." Mario said as Samus, Snake, Ganondorf, Bowser, and Wario then finally showed up as they boarded the train and made way to the city. As the train started to move away from the mansion, awkward silence was in the train car as everyone looked around them, not wanting to look on the opposite side of the car where the other groups were. Mario was whistling and looked outside the window with his brother as Samus checked her battle armor while Snake hid underneath a cardboard box somehow as Ganondorf looked towards the city with Bowser munching on some power mushrooms he grabbed before leaving the mansion and Wario picking his nose.

"So...uh...how's the wife Mario?" Ganondorf asked, trying to break the silence between the two parties as Mario turned to the Gerudo and scratched the back of his head while chuckling nervously.

"Well, it-a is going alright..." Mario tried to answer.

"Ain't nothing but a lie right there." Bowser interrupted as Mario shot him a glare as Ganondorf raised his hand to stop any further arguments between the two as he then turned back to the plumber.

"How so?" Ganondorf asked.

"Well...uh..." Mario stuttered.

"BAH! I bet you haven't-a talked since you broke up! AHAHAHAHA!" Wario laughed as everyone in the car found their patience tested by the fat man.

"IT'S-A NOT LIKE THAT! I WAS-A GOING TO TALK TO HER TODAY, BUT I GOT WRAPPED UP IN-A THIS!" Mario yelled as he slid back into his seat and slumped back into his seat. Bowser then had smoke come out of his nostrils as he glared at the plumber as Mario noticed and returned the glare while the fire in Bowser's eyes began to fume into an unstoppable force.

"Oh, so you were going to 'apologize' to my love today? Yeah, no. I don't believe that for one second, less than one second!" Bowser said.

"You don't believe we are married even with-a proof! Face it Bowser, Peach and I are married, not-a you two!" Mario as Bowser's pupils shrunk to pinpoints before he began to turn red, smoke began to pour heavily out of his body before some breaths of flames came out of his mouth.

"HOW DARE YOU TRY TO LIE TO ME! I WILL SHOW YOU THE TRUTH! THAT PEACH AND I ARE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER AND THAT YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE IN OUR WAY!" Bowser roared.

"We are coming up to-a the city." Luigi suddenly stated as Bowser then began to cool down as the smoke started to dissipate and he turned back to his regular yellow color, but his glare towards Mario never changed as he remained in his seat until the car came to a complete halt and everyone got out of the car. The smashers then walked up the steps to go towards the city hall until they were met with waves of reporters and new outlets as they came out of the station.

"MARIO! WHAT IS MASTER HAND'S BIG PLANS COMING UP?" one reporter asked.

"WHY ARE YOU COMING TO CITY HALL?" another asked.

"ARE THE TOURNAMENTS CANCELED?" yet another asked as they pressed their microphones in the faces of the smashers as the fighters tried to break through the crowd.

"THIS IS-A RIDICULOUS! LET-A US BY SO THAT WE CAN TALK TO THE MAYOR!" Mario demanded, but his cries fell upon deaf ears as the reporters kept on squeezing the fighters.

"TELL US, IS THERE ANYTHING NEW? NEW FIGHTERS? STAGES? WEAPONS?" one reporter asked.

"Oh, you're-a going to love this..." Wario said as he stepped in front of everyone else and grinned evilly at the reporters.

"I'M-A GOING TO BLOW MY WAFT ANY SECOND NOW!" Wario announced as the reporter's eyes then widened in horror. They had heard of the horror stories of those unfortunate to receive a nasty fart from Wario and began to back up nervously as Wario stepped forward, his grin deepening every step he took.

"What's-a the matter? Don't-a you have questions?" Wario asked.

"Well...um..." one reporter stuttered.

"I'M-A GOING TO KILL YOU WITH-A MY WAFT!" Wario suddenly shouted as all the reporters then screamed in horror as they began running away as Wario chased after some of them going off in a different direction as Bowser and Ganondorf then chased after him.

"WARIO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Bowser yelled as he and the Gerudo then followed the fat man as the treasure hunter chased several reporters down a street before disappearing as Mario, Luigi, Samus, and Snake were left in shock over what happened.

"...So much for my Power Suit." Samus stated as they looked and saw that the streets were empty.

"Well, we have-a no time to waste! Hurry inside before they come back!" Mario said as the four heroes began running to the city hall before it was too late.

---

"Hurry up Link! We have got to get this paperwork done before lunchtime if we are to fight in today's battle!"

"I'm going as fast as I can Fox! But I'm still getting used to the technology!" Link said as he, Fox, and Master Hand were doing paperwork in the latter's office. The three of them were finishing off another pile of paperwork for the entire week and were getting ready to do another pile when they noticed the time and realized that they had to hurry in order to be finished for the day.

"I say, if it were only two of us, this paperwork would not be finished until the next day at this rate! Thank you two for stepping up and helping Mario out. He really needed it after all those restless nights of nothing but paperwork." Master Hand said as he took a sip of his coffee from his mug.

"Did you hear that Link? Master Hand is finally appreciating us!" Fox said as he set down another stack of papers.

"FINALLY! I MAY HAVE TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE INTERCOM ABOUT THIS!" Link shouted as he pumped his fists into the air.

"SHUT UP AND GET BACK TO WORK!" Master Hand shouted at the two as they went back to finalizing and signing paperwork.

"Well, at this rate, it would take a disaster to make us stop work..." Fox was saying before there was a knock on the door. Master Hand then groaned as he got up from his seat and floated over towards the door.

"ARGGHH! WHO CAN THAT BE!? I SWEAR I'M GOING TO RIP THEIR HEAD OFF BEFORE I'M...oh, so nice to see you now! What brings you here?" Master Hand asked as his tone suddenly shifted as Link and Fox then noticed and looked up, but could not see who it was since the door blocked their view. However, a scream then let them know who it was.

"LINK! YOU PROMISED TO TAKE ME OUT ON A DATE YESTERDAY!" a female voice suddenly shouted as Link's eyes then widened as the door opened up further to reveal a disappointed Zelda standing in the middle of the door. Link then returned back to his cool, collected thinking as he then tilted his head towards Zelda.

"What do you mean Zelda?" Link asked.

"You promised me you would take me out on a date yesterday, but then that awful murder happened and we couldn't do anything! I was hoping that you would still remember and instead do it today!" Zelda stated as Link thought back and suddenly remembered before jumping out of his chair and running to Zelda before hugging her.

"Oh! I am so sorry Zelda! I got caught up with the awful event yesterday and tried to focus on what would happen today, but Master Hand needed help with paperwork since Mario has gone to the city...and...and I forgot about my promise." Link confessed as Zelda then looked up at Master Hand with a pouty look.

"Is it safe for us to go back to the city? Or are we still required to stay here?" Zelda asked as Master Hand then sighed in disappointment.

"I'm sorry Zelda, but Mario has not called back and given us the ok for us to go back to the city. We can only stay on this premises right now until we clear up things and prove ourselves innocent." Master Hand stated. Zelda then turned away and had a couple of tears go down her eyes as Link then looked up at Master Hand worryingly as the hand began to think before an idea came to mind.

"You know, we could ask Mr. Game and Watch to prepare you two a special lunch if you want..." Master Hand then suggested as Zelda looked up and began to smile happily, but Link then looked back confusingly at Master Hand.

"But who will help you with all your paperwork?" Link asked as Master Hand then grew silent as he began to ponder on that himself.

"Don't worry, I'll take your work." Fox said as everyone else looked at the alien vulpine while Link raised an eyebrow at his offer.

"I don't know Fox, it's quite a lot. Are you sure that you want to take it all on?" Link asked as Fox laughed and nodded his head.

"Yeah! Samus is away and I know technology much better than you do, so I should be able to finish it all much faster than you might think. It should only be an hour!" Fox said as Link then looked back up at Master Hand, who seemed to be holding back a stifled laughter as he then looked back down at the Hylian couple.

"Well, you heard the man. Have a great date! Just be sure to give Fox the paperwork before you leave." Master Hand said as Zelda then began to clap her hands excitedly as Link then walked towards the back of the room as Fox's eyes widened in terror as Link walked back with a stack of papers five feet tall before placing them on top of Fox's desk and leaving.

"Ok Master Hand and Fox, have a good day!" Link said as Master Hand waived at them while Fox hung his head down and began pounding the desk with his right fist.

"Why me? What did I do to deserve this torture?" Fox asked as Master Hand laughed at his misery.

"Should have kept your mouth shut Fox, now you have to do much more work than you cut out for!" Master Hand laughed before returning to his desk as Fox then stretched forth his weakly hand and began working away as Master Hand chuckled to himself at the pilot's agony.

"Don't you wish that Crazy Hand was here to help you out?" Master Hand began laughing as Fox then began to whimper at the hand's laughter. After a while, Master Hand's laughter died down as he looked at the security cameras and then sighed as he looked around the mansion, one question still bothering his mind.

"Seriously though, where is Crazy Hand?" Master Hand asked himself before heading back to his paperwork.

"Try to catch me if you can!" Ness then yelled to his fellow children smashers as Toon Link, Lucas, Villager, Young Link, Popo, and Nana chased him through the hallways of the mansion. The children were laughing their heads off as Ness kept his pace up and looked back and smiled at his peers before making a sharp right and running into the the TV room as he ran past a lamp and grabbed onto it as he was using for his balance, but he suddenly lost his footing.

"WHOA!" Ness yelled as he hit his back and groaned as he looked up at the ceiling from where he lay on his back. He then felt something in his hand before turning his head to look at it before recoiling his face back in terror as he realized he hand broken off one of the lamps hands! The other children smashers then ran into the room and found Ness and saw the horrified look on his face as he held the broken lamp hand as everyone covered their mouths as they felt sorry for the Onett boy.

"Uh oh, Master Hand is not going to be happy about this!" Lucas said as Ness then looked up worryingly to the other children smashers.

"GUYS! WHAT DO I DO!? IF MASTER HAND FINDS OUT ABOUT THIS, I WILL BE..." Ness yelled.

"Hold on a second, something about this isn't right..." Toon Link suddenly said as he grabbed the black, metallic hand and examined it with a squinted eye as the others look on in awe before Toon Link then noticed something and jaw-dropped all of the sudden.

"This hand is meant to come off!" Toon Link suddenly said as the other children smashers looked on in disbelief as Toon Link then reattached the hand to the lamp.

"But...how...did you know..." Nana stuttered.

"Years of practice." Toon Link answered when he finally finished putting the arm back on and noticed that the arm moved completely down instead of just staying straight up. Toon Link then raised an eyebrow when he then noticed that the lamp was connected to the wall all together.

"Huh? What's the meaning of this!?" Toon Link said as an idea came into his head and he moved the lamp hand all the way down and pulled back to reveal that there was a secret door in the wall with the lamp acting as the doorknob to the door. The children smashers then looked on in bewilderment as they saw what was on the other side of the door. A room filled with plastic white sheets laid the lining of the room as multiple black barrels were lined in rows throughout the large room, the room itself was just as large as the TV room! The children smashers then stepped in and closed the door behind them as they began studying the room and its barrels.

"Do you think that we are the first to discover this?" Villager asked as they looked around the room.

"What do you suppose it is?" Popo asked as he then tried to read what several labels beneath the barrel had written. Suddenly, the children smashers heard a horrible sob as they looked at each other with nervous eyes as they tip-toed to the end of the row and down the line of the barrels until they reached the far-right corner and peaked behind the corner of barrels before all of their eyes widened in surprise by what they saw. It was Crazy Hand! The hand sat down in front of one of the barrels and was crying his tears out (?) as he then pushed a mug forward to one of the barrels.

"So here's where he has been all this time!" Young Link said as he observed the hand.

"Yes, but what is in those barrels?" Lucas asked as Crazy Hand then turned a valve on one of the barrels as a deep red liquid substance oozed out from a pipe connected to a barrel as it filled Crazy Hand's mug as the hand kept on crying before turning the valve the other way, stopping the flow of the red substance. Crazy Hand then picked up the mug and began taking sips from it (?) as he then crying out loud.

"Worthless? Untrustworthy? Idiot? I am capable of running things!" Crazy Hand cried before taking another sip out of his mug. The children smashers continued watching the younger brother of the two hands as he wallowed in despair while sipping whatever substance that was in the cup.

"What does it take to show him that I can do anything just like him!? There must be a way!" Crazy Hand said as he chugged down the red substance down and gasped for air the very next second. Suddenly, the hand threw back the cup against the wall as the children smashers then hid behind the barrels as Crazy Hand then turned around and then pointed a finger into the air.

"AHA! I'LL JUST HAVE TO RUN A TOURNAMENT! THAT'S WHAT I NEED TO DO! OH CRAZY, YOU REALLY DID YOURSELF GOOD THIS TIME!" Crazy Hand said as he then went for the door to the room and left as the children smashers then came out from where they were hiding and then looked at the barrels as Toon Link then picked up the cup and and sniffed it before reeling back in disgust at what the substance was.

"Of course, alcohol!" he said as the other children smashers then facepalmed themselves as they realized how stupid they were for not knowing what it was that Crazy Hand was drinking despite knowing that the hand had a taste for alcohol for years, despite his older brother's displeased view on the beverage.

"Well, what do we do now? Tell Master Hand about this secret hideout of Crazy's?" Nana asked.

"No, Crazy Hand could possibly be sent away by Master Hand if he is to find out about this. Despite his rather..uh...unique track record, Crazy Hand is still important to this tournament as everyone else is." Ness stated.

"Man, we don't have a situation where we win do we?" Villager stated as the other children smashers nodded their heads in agreement before they heard the intercom from the other side of the wall.

"Children smashers, today you will fight the villain smashers later today as soon as Mario and his group return from the city." Master Hand's voice said from the intercom as the children smashers groaned at the fact that they will have to face the villains sometime later that day.

"UGH! This is going to be painful!" Lucas complained.

"Yeah! We are going to be destroyed by the villains!" Nana stated.

"Even worse, Dedede will finally get a victory, and it's not one that he has earned!" Popo pointed out as the other children smashers cringed at the fact that they could lose to the self-proclaimed, gluttonous, one-piece-of-cake-away-from-a-heart-attack penguin. Toon Link then hung his head as he looked at the cup that he was holding before an idea popped into his head and looked at the others with a great smile coming across his face.

"Hey, wait guys! We may have a way to secure a victory tonight without worrying to losing to the tubby loser!" Toon Link said as the other children smashers then widened their eyes in excitement as they looked at Toon Link with eagerness to learn the answer.

"WAIT! REALLY!? WHAT IS IT!?" they all asked as Toon Link then pointed to the cup and then gestured to all the barrels surrounding the room.

"If we drink a little bit of alcohol, maybe we can gain an advantage by being unpredictable and catching the villains off guard, like Wolf or Mewtwo!" Toon Link explained. However, the children smashers then had an expression of worry form on their faces as they looked unto one another, seeing how the other would respond to such an idea.

"I don't know Toon, are you sure this is a good idea? We've seen how alcohol can affect adults, and we are only children.", Lucas answered the Hylian.

"Yeah, and what will happen when Master Hand inevitably sees that we are drunk? He'll undoubtedly blame Crazy for this situation and may send him away." Villager followed up.

"Guys, I know that there will be a lot that will happen. But think about what will happen if we don't win, the villains will continue into the tournament and will draw in views, which will put Master Hand's plan on halt. If we stop them tonight, hopefully they won't be put in any more matches until Master Hand is ready to put his plan into action. Besides, we have dealt with many things that would be considered dangerous to the average adult. What harm will a little alcohol do?" Toon Link begged as the children smashers then raised their eyebrows as they thought about what the young Hylian said before smiling and nodding their heads. Toon Link then smiled as he motioned towards the door as the children smashers then tip-toed over towards it and creaked it open to see if anyone was out there, the coast was clear. The children smashers then stepped out and continued sneaking away from the TV room until they were far enough and then began walking normally as they made their way to the kitchen.

"All right, but first we need a couple of vials...", Toon Link said as they entered the kitchen doors.

"Good distraction Wario! This gives us enough time to visit Giygas before we meet up with Mario again!" Ganondorf praised the fat man as the villains then entered the warehouse and climbed the stairs as Wario then had a smug smile over his face.

"Ah! Thanks-a Ganondorf! But I really wanted to-a waft them to death..." Wario said as the villains entered the main room where Giygas, Akuma, Waluigi, and King K. Rool were as they stood in front of the teleporter, as if waiting for something. Giygas then turned towards the three as they entered as the other villains in the room then turned around at the new arrivals.

"So, have they found it yet?" Ganondorf asked as he looked at the teleporter.

"No word at the moment, but they will let us know by pressing their button when they have found it and want to return." Giygas said as he showed the Gerudo a device with a red light that was off at the moment. Giygas then look at the other two before looking back at Ganondorf.

"Where are the others?" the cosmic, universal destroyer asked.

"They had to stay behind. We only got this break from the heroes because Wario threatened the reporters with his waft." Ganondorf explained. Waluigi was then heard laughing as Wario joined in with him as Waluigi slapped the fat man's back.

"YEP! MY-A BRO ALWAYS DID KNOW HOW TO MAKE THEM RUN-A SCREAMING!" Waluigi said through tears of laughter as Wario fell down onto the ground and continued laughing, due to the other villains' dismay. Suddenly, the red light began flashing as a smile appeared on Giygas's face as he turned on the teleporter as a ring suddenly appeared in front of the villains as the two groups sent on a search-and-recover team stepped out with James holding the sword.

"We have what you requested Giygas, but I don't know what you need it for." James said as he handed the sword to Giygas, who then turned around and handed it to Ganondorf.

"Sorry, but it is not for me, but for him." Giygas said as Ganondorf then smiled evilly as he lifted the sword up and then threw his head back. At first, it was a small chuckle that came out of the Gerudo's mouth, but then, the chuckle turned into a roaring laughter as Ganondorf then frightened all the others besides Giygas and Akuma before he stopped laughing as he then grabbed the book he had stolen from Master Hand and the black orb as he set the sword down on the ground and then flipped through the pages of the book until he came upon what he was looking for and then stood over the sword with the black orb in his hand.

"Hey wait a minute Ganondorf, who is this person that you are about to revive?" Bowser asked as the Gerudo turned to him with a wicked grin as a couple of more chuckles escaped from the man's lips.

"Well, in order to maintain and run the operation that I have in plan, I need someone who is able to take the heroes on." Ganondorf explained.

"But is that not why you hired us?" King K. Rool asked as he pointed a scaly finger at the man who held the Triforce of Power. The black orb then started glowing as energy soon leaked out energy as the room suddenly began to turn bright. Giygas then pushed a button as metal doors covered the windows of the warehouse so that no attention could possibly be drawn towards them. Ganondorf then looked at the crocodile and let out a couple of evil laughs as he then looked at the sword.

"Yes, but I need someone who can deal with my nemesis! And now there are three of them now! I need someone who wants them dead just like I do!" Ganondorf said before looking in the book and then reading the page for which he was about to commit this vile deed.

"esirA, miharihG!" Ganondorf said as the room flashed in a great light before the light died down as everyone then looked to where the sword was. In the place of the sword, there appeared to be a figure dressed in a white outfit with a red cloak wrapped around him. He appeared to have completely white skin and hair as the man then stood up and revealed his black eyes as those same eyes spotted Ganondorf, followed by him bowing before the Gerudo.

"MASTER!" the figure said as Ganondorf looked down on the figure and smiled wickledly.

"Arise, Ghirahim." the Lord of Darkness commanded as the man then stood up as the other villains inspected him.

"Heh, who's this chump?" Wario asked.

"This is Ghirahim, one of my most powerful servants in the past." Ganondorf said. "He is needed for the team to defeat Master Hand and the heroes."

"Pfft! What is he capable of? He looks like a twig!" Leon said, the chameleon unimpressed by the new member. Ghirahim glared at the reptile pilot, but Ganondorf smiled wickedly and nodded his head.

"All right. You want to see Ghirahim in action? Then fight!" Ganondorf said as Leon, Panther, Katt, Jessie, James, Meowth, Waluigi, and King K. Rool surrounded him. Ghirahim grinned evilly as he unsheathed his sword, scaring Team Rocket in the process while Star Wolf were sending unimpressed looks at the swordsman. Waluigi then pulled out his tennis racket and a bomb-omb before rushing in and swiping at the man. But in an instant, Ghirahim was gone as red and white particles floated in the air.

"What the! Where did he go!?" King K. Rool asked as everyone began looking around, unsure of where the white fiend went. A laugh then filled the room as chills ran up the challengers' spines before Panther noticed Ghirahim behind Waluigi, the sword being raised into the air.

"Waluigi, look out!" Panther yelled, but it was too late. As Waluigi looked behind him, Ghirahim slashed across Waluigi's chest, sending him crashing into some boxes. Ghirahim then pulled out three knives and threw them at Star Wolf, who each blocked them before he teleported yet again. The challengers prepared themselves for when he would appear next, but Ghirahim came quicker than they expected as he teleported right in front of Leon and slashed him away before kicking Krystal in the stomach as she knelt down in pain. Panther tried shooting Ghirahim, but the man was too fast as he teleported behind Leon and kicked him into Panther, knocking the two men down. Ghirahim soon pulled another knife out and threw it at Leon's suit, pinning him and Panther to the ground as he threw several more knives, knocking their guns away. Afterwards, Krystal lunged at Ghirahim, striking her staff at him while he blocked with his sword. After a few more strikes, Ghirahim kneed Krystal in the stomach, causing her to fall back into more pain before finishing her with a strike of his sword. Ghirahim then looked behind him as Jessie, James, Meowth, and King K. Rool all looked on in horror before Ghirahim then teleported again, another laugh going across the room.

"OH MAN! WHAT DID WE GET INTO!? MEOWTH!" Meowth said as everyone looked around for Ghirahim, uncertain of where he could possibly strike. Soon, a sound of a slash was heard as Jessie, James, and Meowth turned around and saw King K. Rool holding Ghirahim's sword, but struggling to get control from the villain.

"ACK! STRONGER THAN I THOUGHT YOU WERE! YOU TRULY ARE A MIGHTY WARRIOR!" King K. Rool said as Ghirahim devilishly smiled, confusing the crocodile. His confusion was then answered when Ghirahim pulled knives from both of his hands that K. Rool realized that Ghirahim was not holding the sword anymore. But before the Kremlin could retaliate, a flurry of knives struck him as they lodged into his belly armor, piercing through just enough to sink into his skin and draw blood. As K. Rool hollered in pain and kneeled, Ghirahim grabbed his sword and slashed the Kremlin's head as K. Rool fell defeated. Ghirahim looked up as Jessie, James, and Meowth stepped back in fear; the pale man smiling as he disappeared right before their eyes again.

"OH MAN! WHY DID THE BOSS MAKE US WORK FOR THESE GUYS!?" James said as the three turned and tried bolting for the door. But Ghirahim then appeared in front of them again, grabbing Jessie and pulling her towards him. As she struggled in his grip, his tongue began to lash out as the woman screamed in terror. Soon, as if cowardness turned to bravery, James charged forward to the two.

"HEY NOW, NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO DO THAT TO HER!" James said as Ghirahim laughed evilly and threw Jessie in front of James, both colliding into each other.

"Too easy..." Ghirahim said, taunting the two as he pulled out knives seemingly out of thin air and threw them at the two. The two Team Rocket members were then pinned to the wall as their clothes were stuck from the then looked up and smiled sheepishly to Ghirahim, who smiled evilly back while Meowth gulped in fear as the man kicked the Pokémon in the face, sending him falling onto the ground face first. As Meowth tried getting back up, Ghirahim stepped on his head and began crushing his head.

"OK! YOU WIN! PLEASE GET OFF ME!" Meowth said. Ghirahim chuckled, letting his foot off Meowth as the cat began to breath normally. The others began to get back up, all watching Ghirahim carefully as the man put his sword away and walked over to Ganondorf. The Gerudo king gave a smug look at the challengers as they backed away in fear while Leon cursed to himself for getting into a fight with the man.

"Well now, it seems that Ghirahim has proved himself useful!" Ganondorf said as Ghirahim bowed and placed his hand over his chest.

"My allegiance is to you lord." Ghirahim said as Ganondorf laughed evilly before the rest of the villain smashers joined in along with him.

"Hhm. It seems that we have plenty of powerful people here already. Do we have enough Ganondorf?" Akuma asked.

"Not yet. For as powerful as Ghirahim is, we need even stronger people to help us out." Ganondorf said as the challengers perked their heads up to what Ganondorf said.

"What!? More powerful people than this guy!? Why did we get drafted into this again!? Meowth!" Meowth said as Jessie, James, and him hugged each other tightly while Star Wolf looked at each other and shook their heads realizing how they were going to be outclassed.

"Can we get an idea of who will be joining?" Wario asked.

"No, I can't let loose lips ruin everything." Ganondorf said as he looked at the time, his eyebrows raising when he realized how long he had spent there.

"We had better get going! Mario will begin to get suspicious of us if we don't show back up soon." Ganondorf said as he, Wario, and Bowser took off as Ghirahim leaned against the wall and looked at Giygas.

"Tell me everything that has been going on..." he said.

"Oh thank goodness you're here Mario! We can't let the public get too crazy about this!" the mayor said as the four smashers listened to the man.

"I agree sir, we can't-a let this get out of-a hand! We need to catch this-a fiend at once!" Mario said as he slammed his fist down on the table. The mayor nodded in repsonse and motioned to the computer screen in the room as dozens of surveillance cameras popped up, showing real time footage as cars went about the city.

"We will do our best to look for the killer from these footages. He must have come from one of these portals. Once we find the vehicle, we will find our man." the mayor said.

"Hmm, what if the man has already skipped the city? Surely he wouldn't want to be caught where there's police officers at every corner." Snake said as he rubbed his beard.

"Already ahead of you on that. We are checking vehicles who left the city, and making sure that they match to the one." the mayor said.

"What do you need us to do to make sure that this doesn't get out of hand?" Samus asked.

"I need you guys to stay at the mansion at all costs until the killer is found." the mayor said.

"Oh, that-a will be hard. Master Hand has-a us to do chores and buy groceries. We will-a need to get supplies from other means." Luigi said.

"Okay, I will try to set up a truck system that will get all of your supplies. Please just stay at the mansion until we think it is good for you to come out." the mayor said as the four smashers looked at each other and nodded their heads before standing up and shaking hands with the mayor.

"Alrighty sir, we'll-a discuss this with-a Master Hand. For now, we will-a be under a 'self-imposed house arrest' until you give-a the word." Mario said as the mayor smiled at the plumber.

"Oh thank you for seeing it this way Mario! I wish that this situation doesn't last long!" the mayor said.

"Yes, but now we need-a to get back to the mansion. And we need-a to find the villains first before they cause-a trouble..." Mario said. Suddenly, everyone heard a yelling noise as they looked through the window and saw Ganondorf, Bowser, and Wario standing outside, waiting for them. Mario then gave a sigh of relief as he smiled and waived to the mayor.

"Looks like-a Ganondorf and the other two just-a got back. We'll-a head back now and await your orders. Have a great day!" Mario said as the smashers then left the room while the mayor sighed a relieved breath and returned to the monitors, giving orders of who had to watch which tape for the vehicle.

"Oh Link, I am so happy that we are able to finally get a date now." Zelda said as she looked lovingly at Link, who returned the look back with a cheeky grin.

"Hey, I don't mind! It gets me out of work for Master Hand!" Link said as Zelda giggled at his response.

"Oh Link, I expected better out of you!" she said as Link shrugged his shoulders in response.

"Hey! Excuse me princess!" he said as he and Zelda then began laughing loudly, remembering that...uh...interesting cartoon from so long ago. As the two began wiping their tears away, a beeping sound was heard as Mr. Game and Watch opened the kitchen doors and stepped out, bringing dishes out on a cart. The two dimensional man stopped in front of their table and lifted the lid of the main course, two cordon bleu chicken with freshly baked rolls. Mr. Game and Watch then set the meals down on their table and left as Link licked his lips at the sight of the meal in front of them.

"Oh boy! Who knew that Mr. Game and Watch was such a good cook! Let's dig in Zelda!" he said as he began tearing into his food. However, after fifteen seconds of non-stop chewing, he looked up at Zelda and noticed a deepened look on her face. He swallowed the chicken in his mouth and cleared his throat, which caught the princess's attention.

"What's wrong Zelda?" he asked.

"Nothing's wrong." Zelda said, but Link shook his head in response to her answer.

"Not true at all. I now you too well. What's on your mind?" Link asked as Zelda gave a sad sigh in response.

"It's...this." Zelda said, making Link raise his eyebrow in response.

"Huh? Cordon bleu just not your thing? That's okay, I'll just ask Mr. Game and Watch to make you something else." Link said as Zelda shook her head.

"No, it's not that." Zelda said.

"Then what is it?" Link asked.

"It's this moment. We never get to have moments like this. I love every second of this! But now that we have a new tournament starting soon, you have a job, we won't be able to have time to spend with each other like this. Just you and me, no one else." Zelda said.

"Ahh." Link said. "Well, we can always ask Master Hand to give me days off so that we can go on more dates."

"It's not just that, I want to be with you more Link." Zelda said as Link sat straight up in his seat.

"Really? You mean that? I thought you always got annoyed by me." Link said and Zelda's hand reached across the table and grabbed Link's.

"Link, you may say the stupidest things sometimes, but that doesn't stop me from liking you. I want to get closer to you. We have been through many adventures, but have never really had the chance to have dates like these." Zelda said as Link listened carefully. He thought about what to say for a couple of seconds before an idea popped into his head and he grabbed Zelda's other hand.

"Zelda, I know that this may seem crazy, but let's get married!" he said as Zelda sat straight up in her seat.

"What!?" she asked in response.

"Not right now, but after the tournament. We obviously like each other, and there's no reason why we shouldn't get married." Link said.

"But Link, the new tournament could last a couple of years. Are you sure that we can wait that long?" Zelda asked.

"I know we can. If we can defeat Ganondorf every time, how hard is a waiting game when we can still see each other every day?" Link said as Zelda smiled at him.

"All right, it is settled. Let's just hope that the tournament will go quick." Zelda said.

"And that your father doesn't get any ideas about this situation." Link said as Zelda raised her eyebrow.

"What do you mean by that?" Zelda asked.

"That he doesn't try to hurry up the process and get us married soon." Link said. "Because I certainly don't want to hear him give me the talk that will last a life time."

"Oh Link, it wouldn't be that long." Zelda said.

"True, but your father always has to start it out in a weird way like this." Link said as he took his cup and began drinking it and then looking up. "Mai boi!"

That was all Zelda could take before she started bursting into tears of laughter while Link did other impersonations of her goofy father.

"You do realize how much responsibility you are asking of me right now, don't you?"

"I know brother, but give me a chance!" Crazy Hand said as egged his brother along. Master Hand gave an annoyed sigh, turning around to face his brother.

"All right, but know that if you screw up, you will not have any more work with me." Master Hand said.

"Oh, I know. And I'm ready to help you!" Crazy Hand said as the two brothers then went into the announcer's box as people gathered all around in the Pokémon Stadium. Master Hand then turned on the intercom system as he and Crazy Hand put on earphones (?).

"Ladies and gentlemen, who's ready for another exciting battle of smash!?" Master Hand said, the stadium erupting into cheers as people began pumping their fists up into the air.

"Today, we have an insane battle to take place between the children smashers and the villain smashers!" Master Hand said as lights began to shine down on the two groups. The villain smashers jeering at the young children while the children looked at each with concerned looks.

"Okay, when it looks like it may be grim for us, take out your vials." Toon Link advised, the children smashers nodding their heads as the two groups then entered the Pokémon stadium to do battle.

"Ooh, I believe that we are going to have an intense battle today brother!" Crazy Hand said.

"That's right Crazy. Now let's get this battle on!" Master Hand said, the two teams finally making it on the battlefield, staring down each other.

"Good luck to the children smashers, they'll need it." Ryu said while he and many others were watching from the screen in the mansion. The doors then opened as Mario and his group came into the room.

"Hello, we have-a to talk to Master Hand about what the mayor has-a said." Mario said.

"You'll have to wait, the children smashers are going to go up against the villain smashers." Sonic said, pointing to the screen.

"Wait!? Toon Link and Young Link are battling now!?" a voice suddenly said as Link ran into the room with Zelda behind him, a warm smile across her face as she sat down next to Princesses Peach and Daisy.

"So, how did it go?" Daisy asked.

"He...he...he said that we should get married after the tournament!" Zelda said and Peach and Daisy squealed in delight.

"Oh my goodness Zelda! I'm so happy for you! Please make me the bride's maid!" Peach said.

"No! Make me the bride's maid!" Daisy said.

"Ladies, please! I have others to consider as well!" Zelda said, Peach and Daisy began to pout as they turned their attention back to the screen.

"So...much...paperwork!" a voice said as a dead tired Fox came in and slumped onto the couch, dozing off as Mario, Link, Samus, and Snake began chuckling at the vulpine.

"Sorry Fox, I have a lady to please. But I'm sure you already know the consequences of not doing so." Link said. Cheers began to come from the screen as everyone turned to watch the battle to take place between the villain and children smashers.

"AHAHAHA! LOOK AT THOSE PIPSQUEAKS! THEY DON'T STAND A CHANCE AGAINST US!" King Dedede said as the other villain smashers joined in on his mocking. The children smashers looked at all the villains they were facing. King Dedede, Wolf, Mewtwo, Dark Pit, and Bowser Jr. While they were thankful that they were not going up against Ganondorf or Bowser, they still had trouble with Mewtwo and Wolf.

"Ok guys, we can do this! Just get rid of Mewtwo first and we should have a solid victory!" Ness said.

"Yeah, we have the numbers! Team up if your fellow child needs help!" Popo said, readying his hammer while Nana did the same.

"For Master Hand!" Lucas said, charging up his PK powers.

"Three...two...one...GO!" Master Hand said from the announcer's box as the two teams charged at each other. Toon Link and Dark Pit clashed against each other while Ness did battle against Mewtwo with psychic abilities being thrown at the other. Lucas began fighting Bowser Jr., knocking away his all his Mechakoopas and dodging the cannon ball shots. Young Link and Villager fought against Wolf, dodging his claw swipes and laser blasts while returning their own projectiles. And then there was...

"OH HELP ME! THESE MISCREANTS ARE BEATING UP AN INNOCENT INDIVIDUAL!" King Dedede said as Popo and Nana were smashing his head in with their hammers while he lied there pathetically on the floor. The other villain smashers groaned in response to the penguin's pathetic cries, wishing that they had a better teammate to help them in this battle.

"So much for those 'pipsqueaks' not standing a chance!" Ness said as he smacked Mewtwo across the chest with his baseball bat, sending the Pokémon away.

"DEDEDE! DO WE HAVE TO DO ALL THE WORK FOR YOU!?" Wolf said as he slashed Young Link away and threw Villager to the ground before pouncing and pinning Popo to the ground as Nana got up and charged to Wolf, but was stopped by an arrow from Dark Pit. Toon Link tried to slash at the dark angel, but Dark Pit evaded with a sidestep and hit him his Electroshock, sending the Hylian into Ness as the two rolled over the ground. Lucas noticed his fellow children smashers in trouble, but was smacked away as Bowser Jr.'s Clown Car rammed into him, knocking him to Wolf. The bounty hunter smirked as he grabbed Lucas off of the ground and pulled him and Popo in the air, the latter dropping his hammer as the villain smashers began laughing at the failed attempts of the children smashers.

"Well well well, it looks like we have a group of failures here that didn't know when to quit when they had the chance! I'm going to enjoy this as we peel you all like grapes!" Wolf said as Mewtwo picked up Ness and held him above the blast zone. Dark Pit aimed his bow at Toon Link while Bowser Jr. ready to smash his hammer into Lucas's skull. Even Dedede finally made himself useful by getting up and stepping on Nana while raising his hammer above his head, ready to wail it down onto her head.

"Any last words before we end this fight?" Dark Pit asked as he was about to let go of his arrow. Toon Link then put his hand into his pocket and retrieved his vial and looking up at the angel.

"Yeah, I do. QUICK! DRINK YOUR VIALS!" he yelled to the other children smashers.

"Huh? What vials?" Wolf asked as he looked back at Lucas and Popo, the two drinking something from their vials as all the children smashers did the same, confusing not only the villain smashers, but all of those who were watching.

"Uh, what is going on?" Master Hand asked.

"I don't know bro. Are those items? Those aren't supposed to turned on in this battle!" Crazy Hand said as the children smashers then threw their vials to the ground, each of them making gagging faces and sticking their tongues out.

"EW! THAT WAS NASTY AND BURNING! WHY DOES CRAZY HAND ENJOY THAT STUFF!?" Nana said as he rubbed her throat, hoping that it would stop the burning.

"Huh? What do they mean 'Crazy Hand enjoying that stuff' bro?" Master Hand asked. Suddenly, the children smashers then began to look tipsy as they hiccupped and began giggling. The villain smashers looked at each other confused, but had let their guard down at the wrong time.

"Hey...hiccup!...guys! Watch me...hiccup!…smack Mewtwo around!" Ness said as he kicked Mewtwo in the face before grabbing him and pummeling him with his head, throwing him to the ground, and grabbing his tail and slamming him onto the ground repeatedly.

"WHAT THE!? WHAT WERE IN THOSE VIALS!?" Wolf asked as Lucas and Popo began giggling.

"Hey Popo, hiccup! want to see Wolf howl?" Lucas asked as he swung in Wolf's grasp and kicked the canine in between his legs. Wolf's eye widened as his mouth curled, he dropped the two as he let out a painful howl as Lucas and Popo began laughing at his dismay.

"Hey! That's cool, but I want to do it!" Popo said. He and Lucas began kicking Wolf in the same area as Wolf did his best to protect himself, but was in excruciating pain as other villain smashers were getting pummeled by the other drunk children smashers.

"HELP!" Bowser Jr. said as Villager began grabbing everything from the Clown Car and began pocketing it.

"AAH! STAY AWAY FROM ME CHILD!" Dark Pit said as Toon Link began wildly swinging his sword at him.

"OW! SOMEBODY SAVE ME!" King Dedede said as Nana began kicking him in between the legs, tears rolling down his eyes as Nana laughed at his crying.

"HEY GUYS, I...hiccup!...THINK DEDEDE HOWLS EVEN FUNNIER THAN WOLF!" she said. The villain smashers were running away terrified around the battlefield, the audience unsure of whether to be afraid of the situation or laugh at the villains' misery. Master Hand and Crazy Hand were unsure of what to make of the situation as they looked at the different angles of the battle until Master Hand noticed something about their faces.

"WAIT A MINUTE, ARE THOSE KIDS DRUNK!?" Master Hand said over the intercom as Ness picked Mewtwo up by the tail and swung him to Bowser Jr., knocking both of them off the stage and into the blast zone.

"MEWTWO! BOWSER JR!" Dark Pit yelled as Toon Link took his opportunity and threw a bomb at him, sending him into the air as the cartoony Hylian did his up special, knocking him into a star k.o.

"OH NO! HOW ARE WE FAILING!" Wolf said as Lucas pulled out his rope snake and grabbed Wolf by the ankle and began knocking him around the platform while Young Link charged up a fire arrow and shot the bounty hunter, sending him into the blast zone.

"OH NO! NOT ME! PLEASE NOT ME!" King Dedede said as all the children smashers then gathered around him, grinning evilly and beginning to pummel him as the penguin's cries could be heard from everywhere in the stadium. After beating up on the self proclaimed king, the children smashers backed away from him revealing Dedede to be bleeding from the mouth, his left eye swollen up, and bruises all around his face. The children smashers then dragged the king to the edge of the platform, in which they all kicked him off the edge while he dropped like a rock to the blast zone. The crowd remained silent for a second, unsure of what to do, before erupting into cheers as the children smashers then did poses for them.

"See what I said? Nothing to it!" Toon Link said as he put his sword back into his sheath, but not without giving one more hiccup.

"Uh...the winners are the children smashers!" Master Hand said over the intercom as the crowd kept cheering before the children smashers were then teleported back to the mansion as all the adults surrounded them, but keeping their distance to make sure that they didn't suffer the same fate as the villain smashers. Speaking of which, they also teleported back into the room as well, but in much worse conditions. The villains groaned in agony as they did their best to stand up, their bodies aching from all the beatings. But even though they were in pain, their egos were bruised more than their bodies.

"We...just lost to the children smashers...as they were drunk..." was all Mewtwo could say as the villains walked away, Ganondorf facepalming himself in embarrassment.

"I can't believe it. I leave you all to do battle. And this happens!?" the Gerudo yelled, the villain smashers looking down to the floor in shame. Master Hand and Crazy Hand barged into the room and began inspecting the children smashers as the children protested to the hands inspecting them.

"Goodness children, why did you get drunk during that battle!? Crazy Hand asked them.

"And where did you get it!?" Master Hand said. The children smashers then pointed to Crazy Hand as everyone looked at him.

"We got it from Crazy Hand's secret room! He has a bunch of stuff in there!" Toon Link said. Suddenly, his eyes widened as he cried in pain and began rubbing his head. The other children then joined in as the adult smashers covered their ears from such painful screeches. However, Master Hand turned around toward Crazy Hand, who remained still as he heard what the children smashers had said. Master Hand then turned red as Crazy Hand finally noticed and began backing up in fear.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME CRAZY!? THE ONE TIME I LET YOU HELP OUT, AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS!?" Master Hand said.

"BUT THAT'S NOT MY FAULT! HOW DID I KNOW THAT THEY WOULD GET DRUNK!?" Crazy Hand replied.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! YOU TRULY ARE USELESS! I CAN'T EVEN LET YOU DO SOMETHING WITHOUT IT GETTING RUINED!" Master Hand said.

"HEY! THAT'S NOT FAIR! I DIDN'T GIVE THEM THE ALCOHOL! THEY TOOK IT!" Crazy Hand said.

"FROM YOUR SECRET ROOM! YOU PRACTICALLY GAVE IT TO THEM! SPEAKING OF WHICH, WHERE IS YOUR SECRET ROOM!" Master Hand said.

"NO! YOU CAN'T TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME! I HID IT ON PURPOSE SO THAT SOMETHING LIKE THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN!" Crazy Hand said.

"YOU LIE! NOW TELL ME WHERE IT IS!" Master Hand said.

"NEVER!" Crazy Hand said. Master Hand turned to the kids and pointed at his brother.

"TELL ME WHERE IT IS!" he yelled, but the children smashers cried in pain and covered their ears.

"Master Hand, these children need to sleep first before they reveal the location of Crazy's stash. Let them get sober first." Bayonetta said as she picked up Ness. Palutena then picked up Lucas and Villager while Zelda picked up both Links, Peach with Villager, and Daisy with Popo and Nana. Master Hand took a couple of deep breaths then relaxed his body as he nodded.

"Ok, I will ask them tomorrow. Make sure that they get to sleep fast soon." Master Hand said as the female smashers took the children smashers to their room. As Master Hand turned around and began floating to the door, he stopped and stared at Crazy Hand before pointing at him.

"Tomorrow, you're a dead hand!" he said.

"Wait bro! I can explain!" Crazy Hand said.

"SILENCE!" Master Hand said as Crazy Hand backed up. Master Hand then began to exit the room, but Mario began running to the door.

"Master Hand! We have-a something to share from what the mayor has-a said!" Mario said as Master Hand stopped and immediately turned to face the plumber.

"Oh yes! Please tell me what he said!"

"He-a recommended that we-a stay here in the mansion while they investigate where the vehicle is! He will give us supplies so that we don't-a have to go out!" Mario explained as the villain smashers began listening to what he had to say.

"Great! Now we are stuck here and can't get to Giygas!" Mewtwo said telepathically.

"Hmm. This will be a problem, but we can surely make this work!" Ganondorf said telepathically as and the villain smashers began leaving the room and heading to theirs.

"All right smashers, starting tonight, we shall do our own self imposed house arrest until this situation is settled!" Master Hand said as the villain smashers looked at each other while they went down the hallway.

"Great. What-a do we do? Surely we would-a get caught if we try talking to Giygas by phone." Wario whispered.

"And Master Hand would catch us if we sneak out." Dark Pit added as they entered the room and locked the door behind them. Ganondorf began thinking about what to do, rubbing his beard as the villain smashers began changing into their sleep clothes and getting into bed before Ganondorf snapped his fingers.

"AH! That is what we must do!" Ganondorf said.

"What?" Bowser asked.

"We must sneak out when it is late at night or early in the morning! He will never see us leave!" Ganondorf said.

"But wouldn't he hear us trying to leave?" Wolf asked.

"Please, I have snuck out so many times without him noticing. Besides, we can always do it without electricity." Ganondorf said.

"What do you mean?" Dark Pit asked, Ganondorf then pointed at Bowser and Mewtwo.

"If Bowser and I use our strength to open the doors, and Mewtwo used his telekinesis to move the train, the electricity wouldn't turn on and alert Master Hand. We have many options!" Ganondorf said as the villain smashers then began to smile evilly at his plan.

"Ok, so when do we get back in touch with Giygas?" Wolf asked.

"The morning after tomorrow." Ganondorf said as he got into bed and turned off the lights. But not one of them went immediately went to sleep. They all began to think about what to expect the next time they met up with their team.

"Is this man still alive?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure? I don't think a person can be in a coma for so long and have a smile like this!"

"Positive, the heart monitor is still beeping."

"But what happened to him?

(Several months ago)

A man is seen walking up to a mountain, determined to gain the reward that he seeks. As he makes his way up the mountain, a shadowy figure levitates towards him, his body shrouded in a black cloak.

"You seek something precious to you?" the figure says.

"Yes." the man says.

"Let me show you the way." the shadowy figure says as he goes on in front of the man. The two climb the mountain even further until they reach the top and see a drop before them. The man looks down as the figure's cloak is removed from his face.

"It is down there, what you seek." the figure says.

"Yes, Sora for Smash." the man says.

"Yes, you will receive it, but it must cost you something. A soul for a soul." the figure says as the man looks back and sees that the figure is none other than Masahiro Sakurai. Behind Sakurai, there was a small creature that was black and white, wore blue clothing, had extremely long ears, and a giant ring in his hand. Both the man and the creature wept as the man stepped forward.

"I cannot give up Sora for Smash, even for you. I'm sorry little Klonoa..." the man said as he grabbed Klonoa by the arm and dragged him to the edge of the cliff. Tears ran down both their faces as an orchestra played in the background when the man threw Klonoa off the cliff. After a few tense seconds, the man could see Klonoa down at the bottom. The man could not believe what he had just done before everything went white. When the man woke up, he was in the middle of water. The man felt something in his hand and pulled it out of the water to reveal a Sora Amiibo. The man then began to cry some more as he realized what he had done to get his prize.

(Okay, real Author's Note)

Oh! Sorry about that! I had already planned that scene for whenever Sora would be revealed. I guess I just love Infinity War too much to not reference it hah hah. I bet you're wondering "Luigi, where have you been!?", and for that I definitely understand. Unfortunately, when I was at college, I was taking a lot of credits which meant that I could not write at all because I was either doing school or resting from it. During the summer, I decided to work Grounds Crew for my school, but a new Wi-Fi was set up that I was unsure of, so I didn't write at all during the summer. Thankfully when school year started and it turned out it wasn't that bad, I could have started writing; however, I had the largest credit load of all my semesters and did not be able to write as much as a sentence. Thankfully, I am able to write a little bit now, so at least a chapter has been completed! Unfortunately, I have another large load next semester, so don't expect anything as soon as summer starts. However, I am coming home for summer, so hopefully there will be a chapter when it rolls around. I am sorry to keep you guys waiting for so long, and I appreciate the patience. Hopefully this new chapter will suffice until I can start on the new chapter! Thankfully, I took a creative writing class, so hopefully my story will get even better for you all. Anyways, now that all of the DLC fighters have been revealed, I would like to share my thoughts on them!

Joker: What a way to start the DLC if you don't include Piranha Plant. This was the character that Sakurai wanted to do the most and I am glad that he was able to do it! He deserves it after all that he has done for us!

Hero: Admittedly, I wasn't fond of them, and still not really. There move set is what really caught my attention and made me like them...until I played some friends at school who would always get the best spells. Well, at least they are interesting nonetheless. And hey, I get their importance and that it was also a tribute to Iwata. They truly do great justice for him, how we all miss him.

Banjo and Kazooie: I will admit that these are my least favorite of the DLC, but in all honesty, Smash Ultimate never had a bad newcomer in my opinion. Sure, they may not be my taste, but a lot of people like them, and that's wonderful! It's great that people are thankful for Sakurai for getting them into Smash, and I would also be thankful for that as well, even if they aren't my taste.

Terry: This is where things swap funnily enough. I think Terry is my favorite from Fighters Pass 1 because I was more familiar enough with him than anyone else. His moves sound great, he feels fun, and can we talk about how SNK gave 50 songs! For a world where DLC can be expensive, Terry is a real steal for that much content!

Byleth: I guess this is where I am will be deemed weird in stating that Byleth was one of my preferred additions. I personally don't mind more Fire Emblem and I find their move set unique and interesting. Thankfully, MK Leo has shown how cool this character is. Though I will admit that the trailer isn't as good as the others.

Min Min: While I do like third-party characters, I am always happy when Nintendo adds a new and unique character that they own. Min Min is really cool, and I love the idea of her. That said, I have never faced an online or professional Min Min yet, so that may change whenever I do hah hah.

Steve: I like having Steve in the game, his gameplay is unique and sets up for some cool things to happen in games. That said, I understand why some in the community don't like him and I get that.

Sephiroth: Yeah, for the longest time, this was my favorite addition to the game. I was so happy with the many references in the trailer, and I am so happy with the amount of content that the game received when he came. Final Fantasy was suffering from a lack of content, and ironically Sephiroth brought much joy instead of despair...except for Geno fans. I'm sorry that you guys didn't get an upgrade for the Mii costume or at least a track.

Pyra and Mythra: Again, I love it when Nintendo includes their own characters, and I definitely are awesome. I know that they can be annoying, but I haven't faced anybody like that since I don't play online. I want to get into Xenoblade, and this inclusion made that want even stronger.

Kazuya: Tekken was one of the franchises that deserved a rep in Smash, and while I thought it was initially Heihachi at first, I was completely surprised when it was revealed as Kazuya (I was more aware of Hehaichi throwing people off cliffs more than Kazuya, crazy story for the Mishima family). I get Kazuya gets a lot of hate for how busted his move set is, but I can't hate him solely for that. He has an interesting move set, cool combos, and an amazing list of songs. Smash definitely delivered for what was one of the most deserving series.

Sora: Do you really expect me to say something other than that I think Sora is 100/10? Well, that moment he was revealed, I was with a friend, and went bonkers. I thought it would never happen, I had given up hope for the boy after Sephiroth was revealed (though not salty about Sephiroth's inclusion). So to see that my most wanted made it into the game and played just like he does in his actual games, all I can say is thank you Sakurai! You ended that game on the best note possible!

There were others that I wanted and I feel sorry for those fans as well, but I can't say anything but thank you Sakurai for what he did. This truly was his greatest work and I would still like to thank him and his amazing team for making it possible! With that all said, I will begin working on the new chapter soon. I can't wait to publish it, things are about to get crazy! Again, I would like to apologize for taking so long with a new chapter.
