New Job, Adult Life

A knock on a door.

"Ah! Please! Come in!"

A tall, lean, but rather muscular looking man walked into an office room. He had green messy hair that looked uniquely unnatural, a set of freckles that graced his cheeks, a nice tucked in white button up shirt with a pair of black slacks and a neat belt that tied it all together. He wore an single black tie, but other than how the man dressed this individual seemed rather plain.

Interestingly enough, the man was attractive in almost every way. Most notable was his charismatic but shaky smile he held as he walked into the room and fully faced the one who called him.

"S-Sir it's such an honor to have reached this point!" He nervously said whilst bowing slightly.

Said 'sir' could only chuckle loudly as he pointed a paw to a chair in front of him.

"Please, sit! Izuku Midoriya correct?"

Izuku gave a solid nod as he sat down.

"Yes sir." He confirmed.

"It is a pleasure! But none of this sir nonsense, I consider all my staff my friends so please refer to me as Nezu."

"Oh my apologies sir-" Izuku's eyes grew wide. "Wait s-staff?!"

Nezu's eyes shined with mirth. "Perhaps you will be, but that is to be discussed later."

Izuku deflated slightly, though it went unnoticed by the bear-man-thing.

"First and foremost. Your portfolio..." He paused whilst looking down to many papers that laid strewn about his desk. "Dare I say it's the most impressive I've ever seen!"

Izuku flushed slightly at the praise.

"Sir, by all means you surely jest."

Nezu raised a brow at this. "Oh? How so?" He questioned.

Izuku gulped. "I'm sure with how esteemed and prestigious U.A is. My resume is nothing compared to the many heroic and courageous people who have walked these halls."

Nezu smiled. "Please, call me Nezu. As for your question; you're right there have been so many notable and amazing heroes and people that have graced this school. BUT." He declared, a paw pointed in the tall seated man's direction.

"You are unique in that you have two doctorates as well as a few minors. Not to mention your very limited but esteemed recommendations backing you up." Nezu's praising look then grew soft. "I'm sorry if I offend, but with you being quirkless as well, it shows how much better you are with all that you have accomplished."

Izuku tensed.

"You have strived and risen above the ranks with everything against you, and to that I say; I'm impressed and I should be the one thanking you for coming to this interview and giving U.A a chance to have you a part of our staff."

"I-I don't know what to say…" Izuku said in slight shock.

Nezu chuckled softly. "Admirations aside, graduating number one at I-Island Academy, not to mention the highest scoring than anyone who has ever attended, that feat alone is nothing to scoff at."

Izuku smiled sheepishly, rubbing his neck as he looked to the principal of U.A with an appreciative look.

Nezu sighed. "Personal opinions aside, you know the basic theatrics of job interviews and such, correct?

Izuku sat up straight, his arms held above his thighs as he gave off a professional aura.

Nezu chortled. "My look at you!" He shook his head. "Before we return to some other questions that I've been dying to ask you. Sadly now begins the interrogation."

Izuku nodded stiffly.

Nezu tapped his paws gently against his desk. "As you know, U.A is the top hero school in all of Japan. There are many great contenders that could easily take our standing, but we still hold first place." Nezu stopped his tapping. "As such, IF, for whatever reason U.A falls in rankings, what will you do to assure that such a thing does not come to fruition and we keep our number one standing?"

Izuku was quick to answer. "Your concerns are notable as a principal, as such, my first job, foremost, is to teach and build these young kids into the hero icons and symbols they rightfully will become. If public opinion were to sway of this academic establishment, then that is of no concern since guiding and leading the new heroes of the future is of more importance than meager approval ratings the public could have."

Nezu's eyes sparkled. "Radical thinking I see. Though I'm glad to say your opinion is shared with all of the teachers on this campus, so good answer."

Izuku smiled, though it did not last long as Nezu shook his head.

"However, just as I've told them I'll tell you just as well. What you said is the embodiment of what U.A strives for. We are in charge of building the heroes of the future, and leading them into a world that they are not prepared for. It is our job to do this. However, public opinion is more important than you think. Without public approval, we lose funding and possible sponsors that would further help our students in their endeavors and academic affairs. As such, though what you said is what all of my staff members have said, take this more as a reality check that unfortunately I despise just as much as you surely do now that you have heard of it."

Izuku sat up straight, his very being soaking up every word his superior was saying.

"Public opinion is very important. And we must keep it as high as possible in order to ensure that our students get the best of all possibilities…." Nezu paused, his smile suddenly returning. "BUT! You do not know how happy it has made me to know how deeply you feel about your academics and the students, so you pass on question one."

Izuku visibly sighed in relief.

"As for your next question, they get a lot easier now since we've got the hard one out of the way." Nezu leaned back in his chair. "Given your unique circumstances being quirkless, what will be your approach in your first few classes?"

Izuku raised a brow at this. "Could you elaborate sir?"

Nezu shook his head. "I said what I said, now enthrall me with what you will do."

Izuku raised a brow at this, though sat up straight once more.

"I am going to be upfront and honest with my students just as I always have been with others. I will tell them that I am quirkless, but my life and who I am is not built upon what could have been. Just as you have said, I have many accomplishments as well as 'recommendations' as you called it that I've earned through my years of hard work. I'll tell them being a hero and being the change in this world is not just accomplished by way of one's fist or power. Words and actions are just as powerful as a kick to the face…if done right." He chuckled.

Nezu nodded rapidly.

"Furthermore," Izuku continued. "There is an art that not many know of, or even care for and that is the beauty of support items and what they can accomplish. Especially for someone who is quirkless like me. However, these are not things I take for granted as I use my knowledge for the greater good of all heroes and aspiring heroes to be. It is because of them I do what I do, and being quirkless or having a quirk would have never altered my goal. All my life I thought I wanted to be a hero, but I've felt it more fulfilling and more powerful helping heroes this way than being out on the field committing heroics as they bravely do."

Izuku took a deep breath as he swung a hand over his curly hair. He gave a chuckle of relief as he looked to Nezu with slight embarrassment.

"My apologies. I have a tendency to go off on a tangent at times…"

Nezu said nothing as he smiled brightly.

"Ooohhhh~ Please keep going off like that! My, you had me just as hooked~"

Izuku's eyes widened in morbid embarrassment and shock.

Slowly, the man turned to look towards the wide open door that he had walked through minutes ago.

Standing in the doorway was none other than the famed Nemuri Kayama, otherwise known in the hero world as Midnight. She laid sprawled out dramatically against the doors frame, her arm cupped in between her breast as she gave Izuku a preparatory look.

Instantly, Izuku felt himself sweating profusely as the iconic hero waltz into the office with a strut that would make any mortal man melt.

Fortunately for Izuku, as he was in a professional environment, he only let his heated face show his feelings as the woman laid a finger under his chin.

The delectable woman licked her lips.

"Ohhhh you are gonna be so much fun to have around…" Midnight paused, a mischievous look in her eye. "Are you single love?"

Izuku audibly sputtered as he looked at the woman in shock.

"W-W-What?!" He stuttered.

Midnight giggled cutely as she trailed a finger around his neck.

"Perhaps you'd like to get to know each other over some coffee hmm?"

Before Izuku could even fathom what was happening, Nezu quickly stepped in, though he was obviously enjoying every second this interaction had brought him.

"Ah! Nemuri! I take it Hizashi, Shota, and yourself are all finished?"

Nemuri gave Izuku one final wink, then faced the principal with a grin of her own.

"Yup. We were just about to head out with the others to celebrate before the year begins in a few months, but you know me. I had to get me a look at some of this eye candy and put it in my stake before others tried too."

Izuku gave her a confused look. "O-Others? What do you mean?"

Nemuri blew a kiss in his direction and guffawed loudly as she made her way out to the door.

"I'm simply teasing you love, but I never quite got your name?" She then quizzically wondered.

Izuku stood up out of his seat and gave the woman a slight bow.

"I-Izuku Midoriya Ma'am!"

Nemuri smiled. "None of this Ma'am nonsense, I'm not that old." Before she walked out of the room, the woman faced them once more. "It's a pleasure Midoriya, I hope to work well alongside you…." Nemuri then casted a questioning look over at Nezu. "Wait, you did hire him right?"

Nezu only smiled as he, in a rare instance, rolled his eyes.

"Before you barged in drooling like some dog begging for a treat, yes, he is hired."

Izuku quickly faced Nezu with a look of shock.

"I-I'm hired?!"

Nezu sighed. "Of course you're hired. You're everything U.A has been needing and looking for. With another notable hero just hired here, you're the perfect final piece needed before the year starts off in a few months." Nezu stood, his tiny form standing atop his desk with his paw held out to the tall man.

Izuku looked at the paw in stunned silence, a tearful look in his eyes.

Nemuri took this as her queue to leave, but not before calling out into the room for a brief moment.

"Midoriya, if you're up for it, the others and I will be over at the bar five blocks down from the main gate you can't miss it! Since you're now one of us we would love to get to know you over some drinks! Bye-Bye now~!" She cooed as she closed the door behind her.

Izuku smiled deeply, his arm covering his eyes as he took a deep breath.

"I-I'm sorry, s-sir…"

Nezu said nothing of it as he brought his paw back behind his back.

"Izuku, if I may say something?"

Izuku wiped at his eyes before facing Nezu with a questioning look.

"Of course, sir."

Nezu sighed. "Please, just call me Nezu, but never mind that for now. Permission to be blunt?"

Izuku gave the man a curious look before nodding.

"You wanted to be a hero, didn't you?"

Izuku smiled shamefully, his head nodding sadly. "Of course I did."

Nezu nodded knowingly. "U.A was the school you wanted to be in. It's the school you wanted to become a hero in, right?"

Izuku nodded in affirmation. "It was my lifelong dream. It was my goal to become a hero like all the names who teach here, as well as out there. Many came from U.A, what kid wouldn't want to be just like that growing up?"

Nezu remained silent as Izuku continued.

"I'm quirkless so such a thing could never happen. There are no quirkless heroes and why would there be? No way to compete with those who hold power, it's a death sentence." Izuku sighed, his gaze to the ceiling in thought. "I was depressed don't get me wrong...but a chance encounter allowed me to choose an alternate path and instead of being a hero who saves people. Someone like me with no quirk could be a hero in my own way. A hero to the heroes who then save people, that was my only option. So being here officially in U.A, as a teacher no less…" Izuku paused, his eyes tearing up slightly as he looked back to Nezu. "It's almost like my dream has come true."

As a silence followed, Nezu could not help but reach over and tap Izuku on his shoulder. Even with Nezu standing on his desk, his form only reached the man's shoulder as Izuku stood at full height.

"Congratulations Izuku Midoriya." Nezu said with his signature grin.

Izuku's eyes grew more watery.

"Welcome to U.A. the hero you want to be has come true."

It took all of Izuku's willpower to not outright sob uncontrollably.

"Your job may be to help heroes, but now you must add another category to that title. You are now a hero to the students, and you will show them."

Izuku sucked in a deep bout of breath as a sobbed choke left his throat.

"T-Thank you! Nezu!"

Izuku quickly said, his form bowing at a steep decline.

Nezu could not contain the loud guffaws at the much bigger man's heartfelt thankfulness.

"Please, the pleasure is mine!" He croaked. "But, now as your superior and boss, I already have my first important assignment for you."

Izuku faced Nezu with a firm stance.

Nezu smiled. "Go down to that bar and have a good time. Get to know your new coworkers, trust me they are excited to meet you."

Izuku could not help but grin at his new boss's order.

"YES SIR!"

Izuku was practically shaking out of his boots.

"W-What the hell was I thinking…" Izuku whispered to himself as he stood outside the bar.

He could hear the rich filled laughter of patrons inside, more notably the same laughter that had practically crawled all over him thirty some minutes ago.

Guessing by her laughter, as well as the laughter of others, Izuku's new coworkers seemed to be having a blast. Now any socially competent and normal person could have easily walked into that bar and introduced themselves and integrated smoothly.

Izuku, however, was socially inept and had no experience hanging around others like this. Maybe from one girl named Melissa back when he was at I-Island, but that was as close to an example he could think of.

So now laid this impossible task before him. Social integration without making a fool of himself.

Izuku chuckled nervously to himself as he walked into the bar.

"W-Well at least she would be proud…"

The hustle and bustle of the bar only grew louder in volume as Izuku awkwardly excused himself around the many patrons who gathered about the rather cozy looking bar.

Off to the side, based off of Nemuri's laughter, sat all of his now coworkers who paid him no mind as he looked towards them. A man who had the complete body of some badass looking dog seemed to be deep into a story that had the various people roaring loudly in laughter. Even a grouchy looking man seated next to Nemuri had a grin on his features. All of this interaction, Izuku analyzed instantly, his eyes gathering as much information as he could.

It wasn't until he noticed them all looking in his direction, accompanied by Nemuri's eccentric hand waving did he realize they had caught him staring.

"H-Hello…" Izuku meekly said, his hand waving towards them.

Interestingly enough, there were six people of various sizes and looks that were seated in the booth before him. One was obviously Nemuri, but the other sole female at the table threw him for a loop. She did not resemble any hero he had ever seen. As for the others, Izuku wanted to gush and scream at the other heroes seated, but he was an adult however so he kept his cool as best he could as Nemuri called to him.

"Izuku! See that's the one Hizashi! That's the one I was telling you about!" She hollered drunkenly.

Izuku was brought out of his stupor by said Hizashi in question as he suddenly stood and wrapped his arm around the evenly heighted man.

"Ahh! He's young like me!" Hizashi chortled loudly. "Sit, Sit!"

Izuku barely had to react as he was shoved into the seat by the female hero he did not know about.

The woman offered him a genuine smile, waving towards him as he was integrated into the group swiftly.

"A PLEASURE!" A gruff voice barked out.

Izuku jumped slightly as he looked towards the dog man.

"L-Likewise! Umm..?"

"RYO INUI!" The man hollered just as loud before he sat himself back down. "Sorry, I get excited when meeting new people." He grumbled, his arms crossed.

Izuku could not help but sweat drop at this.

"You're, Hound Dog correct?" Izuku said somewhat excitedly.

"A FAN I SEE!" He growled before coughing into his fist. "Sorry. Yes that is me."

Izuku smiled widely as he looked around the rest of the table.

"Hizashi Yamada!" The eccentric blonde haired man bellowed as he gave Izuku a thumbs up.

Izuku chuckled lightly as he nodded. "Present Mic is your hero name right?

Hizashi gave him two thumbs up this time. "Right-O!"

"Do you already know who we are Zu~?" Nemuri teased.

Izuku's face flushed as he looked around them all nervously.

"S-Somewhat yes…" He admitted.

The woman he was seated next to giggled into her hand which garnered Izuku's attention.

She smiled cutely as she leaned on her palm, her mirth filled eyes looking at him all over.

"Oh? Would you happen to know who I am then?"

Izuku nervously rubbed his hands together as he tried his darndest to figure out who she was. Her most noticeable and distinct feature was her eye, which oddly held the visual shape of Saturn, though her other eye he could not see. Space came into question within his mind, but other than her features, which were uniquely attractive in all rights, she was as unknown as one would imagine the grouchy man to his left was.

But he already knew who the last two men at the table were. Shota Aizawa, the underground hero Eraser Head and Kan Sekijiro, the Blood Hero: Vlad King. But this woman, he had no idea who she was.

Izuku felt embarrassed.

"I-I'm sorry I don't know who you are…" He paused, his hands held up to her in mock defense. "B-But I'd love to know!" He defended.

This resulted in the entire table, minus Aizawa, laughing loudly at Izuku's expense. Izuku looked between them all with a nervous smile, somehow feeling at ease from their laughter.

Nemuri was the only one to jump to his defense, albeit with a few hiccups and giggles falling in between her words.

"Sorashi! No one other than us knows who you are." She teased. "However Izu, you blush a beautiful shade of red I can't help but adore~" She huskily said in his directions.

Aizawa was next to surprisingly defend the mortified broccoli haired man.

"Nemuri, you and I both know you're past your prime. You're old to old, he's not interested." He sternly jested.

Nemuri's reaction was instant as she practically lunged across the table, a sad but humored look on her face.

"H-Hey!" She hiccupped. "You know damn well anyone here would instantly come to me if I desired!"

Hizashi was the next one to smirk at her remark.

"Speak for yourself." He chuckled.

Nemuri looked towards the two with a crazed look in her eyes.

"Well that's because you two are gay!" She hissed humorously.

Hound Dog then stepped in. "I agree with those two."

Nemuri gave him a look of betrayal. "Like I'd let some dog-!"

Izuku was amazed at this simple friendly interaction that was happening between the majority of the table. There was an overwhelming feeling of warmth and comfort that he felt. His perplexed gaze was interrupted by Sorashi poking at his cheek gently.

Izuku sputtered in surprise, his blushing face facing her.

"Well?" She continued, her left eye suddenly shifting to resemble the shape of the moon.

Izuku felt his breath hitch in the back of his throat as her hair moved ever so slightly revealing her other eye. It was vague, but he had seen the diagram of the solar system many times and that is exactly what he saw where her pupil should have been.

"Wh-Whoa…" He breathed out.

Sorashi gave him a curious look. "I'm assuming that reaction is because of my eyes?"

"I'LL SHOW YOU AN OLD HAG!"

Both were interrupted just as Kan had been put into a choke hold by Nemuri, the large man easily getting overpowered by the emotionally driven woman.

Hizashi was cackling loudly as Ryo howled and barked as the two went at it. Shota looked at the spectacle with a disapproving glare, but those close to the man would know that he found the situation at hand rather enjoyable, even if he did not show it.

Izuku was broken out of his stupor as Sorashi giggled softly.

"You won't ever get bored working with all of us, I can tell you that much. This is only a bit of the staff as well, the others couldn't make it."

Izuku smiled at her words.

"As for who I am, this is actually kind of fun! I want to keep you in the dark now." She sighed gently.

Izuku raised a brow at this.

"But that would be unprofessional so I'll relent." She chuckled. "I'm Sorashi Ito, or known to others by my hero name, Thirteen."

Izuku's eyes comically widened as he felt himself shake in excitement.

"Are you really?!" He gushed, his face within a few inches from her own.

Sorashi blushed hotly at the close contact though did not try to move as she laughed nervously while bobbing her head.

"Yup that's me!" She affirmed with a giggle.

"Hey! I've called dibs on him already Sorashi!"

The two turned to face the somewhat frazzled Nemuri as she held an unconscious Kan in her hands .

Izuku blushed brightly at her words, while Sorashi rolled her eyes.

"I'm just, 'putting my stake in before the others do', as you say Nemuri."

Izuku looked between the two in horror as Nemuri scoffed whilst dropping Kan onto the table.

"Just because you have a thing for men with degrees and who are tall, doesn't mean you get to join the pot."

Sorashi sighed, though there was obvious mirth in all of this. "I just don't like men for what they have accomplished, there are A LOT more factors that I enjoy."

Just as the two women continued to argue along, Izuku heard a dark chuckle that was aimed in his direction.

Izuku's petrified face morphed into one of curiousness as he looked in the direction of Aizawa.

"I wish you the best of luck with whatever they are up to." Shota implored.

Izuku nervously looked back to the women, before back to him.

"What do you mean?" He questioned.

Shota waved his hand absentmindedly in his direction before continuing. "I'm Shota Aizawa, I look forward to working alongside you…" He paused, pointing to the man who still laid unconscious on the table. "That's Kan Sekijiro, as I am sure you know."

Izuku chuckled softly. "Yeah, I basically knew who all of you are from the start, minus Sorashi."

Shota nodded. "I had asked Nezu about it, but I'm sure you know by now how annoyin-.." Shota cleared his throat. "Sorry, how mischievous our little 'rat-bear-thing' can be."

Izuku chuckled himself. "That's funny, I felt he was more a 'bear-man-thing' if anything."

Aizawa chuckled slightly at his remark before affixing him with a quizzical look. "What exactly will you be teaching the students at U.A?"

Izuku's eyes widened briefly as all the chattering had come to a halt at the table as everyone gave their attention to the green haired man.

Izuku nervously rung his hands together as he looked at everyone before sighing.

"Well I'll start with something else first that I feel will bother you guys."

"Bother?" Sorashi questioned for everyone as they now gave him their undivided attention.

Izuku nodded. "Yes, and I'll just outright and say it. I'm quirkless."

No one said a word as Izuku looked to the table in shame. Even as an adult, the very notion of revealing to others that he was quirkless always filled his mouth with distaste. So out of habit, Izuku tended to look to the floor when addressing the issue as the looks of pity or disgust he was given sickened him, but also angered him.

"I have been my whole life, and it's a burden that has heavily affected me all my life as I'm sure you can assume. At first I had let it affect me and I blamed the world for this. I even blamed others for it."

The others still remained silent.

"I wanted to be a hero like you guys and now that I'm teaching at U.A I feel I can finally do that." Izuku then looked up, his face surprised to see that none of them were looking at him in disgust or even pity.

In fact, they were giving him looks of understanding.

"T-There is a lot more to it, but I will eventually tell you all when I am more comfortable sharing it, but the short of it is I'm gonna be a hero in my own way, and that way is to be a hero for the students and build them into the heroes they will be. It's been my dream to attend U.A, and in my own way I managed to do it."

Izuku suddenly stood, and just as he did to Nezu, the man bowed deeply towards everyone at the table as he continued to speak.

"I promise I will do the best I can as a quirkless person to mold these kids into what you all will be proud of. That the world will be proud of. I may not be worthy to stand alongside you all, but I will show you that I can be just as great as all of you."

All the heroes were stunned at the man's declaration, but most notable of all they were impressed and even admired his words. The silence would have continued for a bit longer were it not for Izuku suddenly standing straight and giving them all an apologetic look.

"S-Sorry!" He exclaimed. "Ummm, I-I tend to-"

Nemuri smiled. "Go off on a tangent?"

Izuku chuckled. "Y-Yeah. It's a bad habit of mine I developed while writing my thesis on the modern wonders and implications that support items can accomplish for paraplegic and active heroes…" Izuku sighed. "I just sort of let my words flow out of me as my brain has nowhere to put it all."

"Sorashi, you're drooling, stop, that's disgusting."

Izuku looked at Hound Dog in surprise.

"H-Hey! Who wouldn't after such a speech and then talk of his prowess in academics!?" She defended. "Plus you're a dog! We literally see you drooling all the time!"

Ryo crossed his arms with a huff. "But that's my quirk at work and I can't control it, while you can control it, but you seem more like a bitch in heat than someone admiring what he's done."

Now Izuku did not know how this friend group dynamic worked between them all. But when Hizashi covered a laugh with his palm while Nemuri bellowed loudly. Izuku somewhat expected Sorashi to take immense offense at the man's remark, but surprisingly she didn't. In fact.

"Bah! Go fuck yourself and shove it up your ass you deranged mammal." Sorashi guffawed with a pair of middle fingers aimed at the man dog's direction.

Now it was Shota's turn to cover a laugh as he looked at the none offended Ryo. The table erupted into loud rambunctious laughter as Izuku still remained perplexed at all that was going on.

"Izuku, we don't care if you're quirkless, you've been hired by Nezu and earned your spot for a reason."

Izuku took in Hizashi's words in wonder.

"We may all be heroes," Hizashi continued whilst gesturing to the whole table. "but just like you our students are first, and judging by your mindset and what you've said I'd say you're more worthy than all of us."

"N-No that's not true at al-!"

Sorashi covered his mouth with her hand before she gave him a smile.

"Hizashi is right. We had it easy with our quirks and I will be the first to admit they can be crutches at times; but you've made it all this way with your intellect and drive alone."

Sorashi removed her hand and smiled herself.

"Give yourself some credit, you obviously deserve it."

Ryo then gave him a strong pat on the back that made Izuku blanch slightly.

"I AGREE YOU NEED TO STOP WITH THIS SELF-ABUSE NONSENSE!" Ryo cleared his throat. "Sorry. I'm the student lifestyle guidance counselor, but that does not mean I can't see what you're going through. Just like the others you carry this weight and it's understandable. I'm always willing to hear a fellow friend out."

Izuku's eyes shined slightly.

"F-Friend?"

Ryo nodded sternly. "Of course. You're one of us now, and I'd say you fit in already."

This was met with a chorus of nods and words of agreeance.

Izuku hold to control the tears that were brewing in his eyes.

"Wo-Wow." He muttered. "Can't say I have ever felt as welcome as I do now with all of you."

Nemuri giggled. "Well welcome to the club! As you can see, it never is a dull moment with all of us."

Izuku nodded with a smile on his face as Shota cleared his throat.

"How about you answer my original question I had asked?"

Izuku's gave the man a confused look before gasping.

"S-Shit-!" Izuku's eyes grew wide in horror. "W-Wait I didn't mean to cuss!" He apologized.

Sorashi suddenly groaned loudly, while Nemuri cheered.

"HA!" The voluptuous woman boasted. "Pay up! I said he'd cuss at least once this night."

Sorashi grumbled slightly as she reached into her purse, pulling out some yen before handing it over to the overconfident woman.

"Midoriya, to think I was falling for you. I didn't think you'd do it."

Izuku looked to the two women in disbelief before sighing.

"You guys are actually insane…"

Hizashi snorted slightly. "Only when we are out of work. I swear we are different people when the students are around."

Ryo nodded firmly. "Yes. Very, and way more professional than what you see here."

The rest, even Shota, chuckled at the man's words as a bartender came and dropped off various drinks.

Izuku looked on in confusion as multiple were passed in his direction. It didn't help that the drinks were passed all along Kan's still unconscious form as even he had drinks set up for him as well.

"Oh...maybe we should have asked, but you do drink right?" Sorashi guilty questioned.

Izuku nodded weakly as he gazed at the various shots and mixed drinks he had in front of him.

For the first time Izuku couldn't help but let his comedic wit out.

"Of course I drink, how do you think I made it through I-Island?"

This was met with brief silence before the same laughter and joy filled the table again as Izuku smiled sheepishly with a drink in hand.

"Well each of us got you our favorite drink here so you best be respectful and finish it all up." Ryo grunted before taking a swig of his own drink.

Izuku nodded himself as he took his own sip. He could not control the sudden shiver and grimace that crossed his face as he tasted nothing but pure vodka.

Nemuri giggled, raising her hand. "That would be my favorite drink I hope you enjoy it~" she cooed.

Izuku chuckled slightly, already feeling the affects of one sip as he gave the woman a genuine smile.

"Thank you for the drink."

Nemuri's eyes softened as she leaned towards him.

"Anything for you my love~"

Perhaps a few hours ago that would have affected Izuku, her flirting; but with alcohol in his system now as he took a few more sips, he felt elated and simply laughed of her remark.

"My bad, uhh Aizawa about your question. I will be starting off in support for some time as an assistant to Higari Maijima as he needs some help with things." Izuku took another long swig of his drink as he aimed it towards Nemuri who clinked her glass with his.

"You know it's growing on me…" He chuckled in her direction. "Anyways after that brief stint I'll have my own class mid year where I will be teaching quirk analysis and theory."

Sorashi leaned towards him herself, her drink in her hand.

"Quirk analysis and theory? I heard that apparently you brought it up to the 'white-wigs' on I-Island correct?"

Izuku nodded, chuckling slightly at her wording of the higher ups. "Yes, it was not a sought after career or major to push for so when I brought it up to them they were on board instantly."

Ryo grunted as he suddenly chugged down the rest of his drink.

"Now that sounds interesting, what exactly does this entail?"

Hizashi then laughed loudly. "HA! En'tail' he says!"

Everyone but Shota and Ryo laughed at the joke as Kan jumped up suddenly gasping for air.

"HUH WH-WHAT?!" He said looking around in a panic.

Though it startled Izuku, the others did not react to it as Nemuri was the first to answer him.

"Ahh sleeping beauty you're awake!"

Kan grumbled loudly as he reached over for a drink and slammed it instantly.

"Shut it you ogre of a woman."

Nemuri giggled. "Bite me."

Kan scoffed. "Who knows what I would catch if I did."

Izuku again was stunned at how this friendly dynamic worked between them all as Nemuri hollered herself as the rest joined in.

Izuku tried holding it in but eventually he joined in on the laughter as Sorashi patted him on the back.

"See? I told you with all of us around it'd be fun. Never really does get boring I'll tell you."

Izuku sighed blissfully as he finished the last of Nemuri's favorite drink

"I'm starting to see what you mean Ito." He said happily.

Izuku had lost track of time. It could have been the next day for all he cared. But one thing he did care for at least was his state of being. Izuku was slammed, thrashed, plastered, hammered, whatever you wanted to call it.

But the tall and lean man was giggling and hiccuping like crazy as Hizashi was telling a story that Shota and Nemuri had in their youth back in U.A.

"HAHAHAHA A-AND THEN THEY KISSED AND THATS WHEN SH-SHOTA REALIZED HE WAS G-G-GAY!"

Everyone broke out into laughter, even Nemuri while Shota rolled his eyes as Hizashi told them of the time that the two heroes had tried dating for a single day and how it horribly failed.

The festivities had continued for hours and the heroes had been at way before Izuku had joined the group. By now, the bar was packed to the brim with all forms and looks all around. Everyone was having a good time, and even Izuku was officially out of his shell as he laughed along just as loudly as the others.

As Hizashi continued, Izuku felt his phone buzz in his pocket as he excused himself before taking it out and looking at it.

He sputtered loudly as he looked at the text message, and then the time.

2:37 am

BunBun: Where the fuck are you.

Izuku paled as he hurriedly text back a response as best he could.

Broccoli: Hey! The boss wanted me to get to know my coworkers more, so I came to get drinks with them and I am PLASTERED.

Even if the message was coherent and read correctly, Izuku had taken a solid five minutes to even write it out.

He instantly got a message back as he could already feel the slight annoyance the person gave off.

BunBun: Do you need a ride? I better not fucking hear of you driving home drunk. I'd fucking kill you if you did.

All this time Sorashi had been peeking over at his phone as Izuku hurriedly texted back a response.

Broccoli: Yeah please if you could? Also I took the train so no need to worry there.

BunBun: Fine. On my way.

"Your girlfriend?"

Izuku dropped his phone on the table in surprise as he looked to Sorashi in alarm.

"H-Huh?"

Sorashi giggled as she moved her hair from her eyes.

Izuku watched in wonder as her eye changed shape to resemble that of earth.

"I'm sorry for peeking, but I couldn't help but be curious." She apologized genuinely. "That was very rude of me, I am sorry."

Izuku waved his hand dropping the subject entirely.

"It's fine it didn't bother me, I was just surprised."

Izuku looked back down at his phone checking the time.

"She is not my girlfriend, but we are roommates and she cares for me a lot even if she would never admit to it."

Sorashi raised a brow at this.

"Oh? Is she a family member?"

Izuku shook his head with a chuckle. "Nope she is not, but you will see."

The two left it at that as they integrated back into the still ongoing conversation at hand.

It had been all but ten minutes before the group noticed a loud racket breaking out a few feet away from them. There was a crowd obstructing their view but it did not last long as a man gave a painful scream as he was launched across the bar into a wall.

Izuku instantly felt himself sobering up as he knew who was causing the ruckus.

"They definitely deserved it." He said as the others looked to him in confusion.

Before the others could even wonder what he had meant, a gruff but very feminine voice took their attention away from his words.

"I don't know who the FUCK you think you are. But grab my tail again and I'll skin you alive."

Izuku stood on shaky legs as he made his way to the fiasco still ongoing at hand.

What stood before him was a crowd of people looking on in awe and fear as a pair of tall white pointed ears flicked over in his direction.

The pair of ears belonged to a short but very imposing figure of a woman. She was tanned and muscular in all the right places and as her eyes met his she grunted slightly.

"My god you aren't plastered. You're FUCKED."

Izuku chuckled as he waved her over to him.

"After all that I more sober than you think.' He sighed, whilst looking back over to where the man laid. "Rumi, was it really necessary to render that man dead like that?"

Rumi scoffed as she ignored the stares of everyone else as she made her way to him.

"The fucking snail deserved it. He grabbed my tail and pulled it, so I grabbed his balls and squeezed until I heard a pop." She smiled menacingly. "Then I kicked him to the wall."

Izuku sighed as he made way for her to follow him.

"I guess he's lucky you don't have those enhancers on your feet right now."

Rumi chortled loudly as she followed him. "I wish I did because then he would really be dead."

As the duo approached the table, everyone gave the new guest a curious look as Sorashi was the first to question the newcomer.

"Usagiyama?" She questioned.

Rumi looked over and gave the woman a neutral face. "My, if it isn't Ito, I haven't seen you in a long time."

Sorashi nodded. "Yeah it has been a long while…"

Upon everyone but those two giving her a curious look Sorashi explained.

"I was a third year, and she was a first year back when we were in U.A." Upon their even more questioning looks Sorashi sighed. "I am younger than all of you. By at least four years you know.

The rest of them let out a collective 'ohhh' at her words as Rumi suddenly smacked Izuku up the back of his head.

"W-What the hell Rumi!" He said whilst looking to her in slight anger.

Rumi shrugged her shoulders as she ignored what she just did.

Rumi gave the table a once over before, her eyes pausing briefly on only the women of the table. She gave a nod to all of them.

"At least your coworkers aren't a bunch of weak wastes of space."

Rumi then looked to Nemuri with a neutral face. "Old hag, I didn't know you were still teaching over at U.A? I thought you would have retired by now."

"R-Rumi!" Izuku suddenly scolded as the others, Kan especially looked at the volatile woman in horror.

Nemuri simply chuckled as she gave the much shorter woman a neutral stare herself.

"You know green looks horrible mixed in with your white fur, best get that checked."

Rumi chortled at the woman's comment before looking at everyone with a strong look.

"I'm here to pick up Izuku so the party has been cut short."

"It's about that time anyways we all leave after all." Ryo sighed as he checked the time on his phone.

"Oh dang it's that late already huh?" Sorashi said herself as she mimicked the other man's actions.

"Guess it is." Hizashi chuckled as they all made to stand.

"Well it'll be a pleasure working with you Izuku, just know this is a weakly thing so we would be delighted knowing you'd join us now and then."

Izuku said nothing as he gave Rumi a questioning look.

Rumi was picking at her nails before she realized everyone was looking at her.

"What." She commanded.

"Well your 'son' over there seems to be asking permission to come back on our weekly bar trips it seems~" Nemuri teased.

"Weekly bar trips…" She paused as she gave Izuku a look of annoyance. "Why the fuck are you staring at me like I'm your mother or something? You're a grown ass man! Make your own decision the fuck."

Izuku laughed sheepishly as he looked back to the others and gave a nod.

"I'll definitely come when I can, thank you for the hospitality."

The rest cheered at his affirmation as they all made their way out of the bar.

As Rumi and Izuku made their way to the entrance, it just so happened it was where the barely coherent man was still against the cracked wall.

Rumi feigned a kick in his direction which made the man literally piss his pants in fear as he cowered against the wall.

Rumi snickered menacingly as she continued on her way with Izuku following right behind her in slight embarrassment.

As everyone now stood outside Nemuri stretched loudly as she looked all around them. It was late into the night, and there was a cool breeze that caught everyone by surprise. Many people were still out and about partying or just having a good time around the other bars that laid around.

"I'm off! See you all Monday! Nice meeting you young Midoriya!" Hizashi said as Shota followed him behind.

"Bye everyone. You'll be fine Izuku." The grouchy man simply said as he walked away.

Izuku bid them goodbye with a nod and smile.

Next was Nemuri and Sorashi as the both of them made their way to a parked car only a few feet away.

"Don't worry, Sorashi was the designated driver tonight so she stopped drinking hours ago~" Nemuri teased as the two women walked away.

Nemuri then gave Izuku a lecherous look. "It was nice meeting you Izu, I look forward to working alongside you." She cooed.

Izuku had not noticed, but Nemuri picked up on the annoyance that Rumi gave off and the much older woman gave a silent cheer in her head.

"It was nice meeting you Izuku. I feel it'll be an even better year with you around." Sorashi smiled as she turned and followed Nemuri to the car.

Izuku waved them off with a smile as Kan and Ryo also began to walk away.

"We didn't get to speak much on account of Nemuri choking me out, but welcome aboard Midoriya." Kan said firmly as Ryo followed alongside him.

"See you Monday Izuku, and remember I'm always here to talk." The dog man finished as they finally all excused themselves away.

Izuku waved them off as well as he gave a satisfied sigh and looked towards a fuming Rumi.

Said woman was staring right at the car Nemuri and Sorashi were seated in. Nemuri was making some rather lewd gestures with her hands that Sorashi quickly stopped as Izuku looked in their direction questionably.

The two women reversed and drove off as the only sound that remained was the bustle of night city life.

"You're a fucking asshole I hope you know that."

Izuku gave the silently raging woman a confused glance as she walked away from him to her car.

"W-What?"

"Hurry up. It's cold outside and because of you I'm missing the warmth of my bed." Rumi grumbled as they neared the parked car.

Upon entering the car a tense silence filled the vehicle as Rumi began driving them both home.

Izuku twiddled with his thumbs as they eventually neared their shared apartment.

"Was it something I said?" Izuku suddenly asked.

Rumi ignored him. "You owe me a head massage and back massage. When we get home you'll get a warm bath going for me, and your ass goes straight to bed after that."

Izuku gave her an incredulous look. "What the hell? Where do you get off telling me to do all this?"

Rumi slammed the brakes harshly as they reached the turn to get into the apartment complex.

Her glowing red eyes stared him down harshly as Izuku relented under her stare and looked away.

Rumi suddenly giggled cutely as she parked the car in their designated spot.

"Good. Now get the hell out and get inside and do what I asked."

Izuku sighed as he got out of the car with an annoyed expression. "Sure thing, MOM."

Rumi watched as he walked away and inside as the woman suddenly gripped her steering wheel so hard she could have sworn she dented it. Her mind raced back to the two women from minutes ago.

Rumi did not know this feeling she was facing, but a part of her was upset and even annoyed that Sorashi and Nemuri had been flirtatious with the boy.

"You're a naive dickhead Izuku…" She sighed as she calmed slightly.

Rumi did not really ever care for much as being the number six hero took up all her time, but being who she was, others issues were of no concern to her as she had much more important things to deal with. But she could not wrap her head around this feeling she felt as she turned off the car and stepped out into the cool night air.

Her ears twitched slightly as she could vaguely hear the sound of the bath running as she neared the door. She smiled as she opened the door and closed it behind her.

"Nemuri and Sorashi huh?" Rumi said as she took her shoes off by the door and made her way inside. "I swear if Ryuko tries some shit tomorrow..."

Long time no see huh everyone? This is an experimental try at a 'possible' multiple love interest story as well as even a harem. I say that loosely as I don't even know where I want to go with this.

This story was purely inspired by the recent images from the manga. I will not spoil anything as this is still all made up.

(POSSIBLE SPOILERS) (doubtful to be honest but…)

but Thirteen can just briefly be seen without her costume on her head and there's obvious attention to detail in her eyes and how they almost looked like the planet Saturn or just like planets in general; in place of where her pupils should have been. Give it a look if you desire just be careful of spoilers.

Her eyes alone lit in fire in my heart and this happened. As for her name I made it up and used google search poorly to come up with something. I did decent.

Like I said I don't know what this will become but writing an older Izuku seems more fresh and different in comparison to his younger self.

I hope everyone has been well during these times, and I wish nothing but the best for all of you. It's a struggle but the new year is here! Here's hoping 2021 is better!

Cheers.
