After fighting the Red Death and the tyrant, Drago, Hiccup wouldn't think he would have any more similarly outstanding adventures. Yet, he must try to stop this 'Darkness' reaching across the Barbaric Archipelago to save his village. Njord chose him, a runaway heiress, and the demigod that triggered the decay, to fix things. But there is no 'team' in 'chosen.' V1:Ch1-6 & V2:Ch8-15

im gonna leave this up, and post the updated version as a new story

i mentioned that ive been combing earlier chapters, and i have honestly surprised myself with how much i edited and added

it intrests me to have this up to compare to the new version, to see how my writing has developed, and since i dont have these old versions as active documents anymore, i cant store them in gdrive easily, so i decided id leave this here

ive expanded on certain events' beats, fine tuned dialog along with the subsequent tags, and hopefully made the story more compelling with better set-ups that'll get paid off further in

thank you to everyone that responded and reviewed after all this time, i really appreciate it
