A/N: So here's the long awaited next chapter! Sorry it took so long! And also, I'm sorry that a huge chunk of it is filler, but it's kind of character development. Hopefully the ending part will make up for it cause...just read and find out!
BTW, to avoid confusion, Perfect Cell will be called mostly "Perfect" while Semi-Perfect Cell "Semi-Perfect". Remember that because they have each absorbed an Android, they are named differently so I hope you can catch on.
Across Time: Eternal Hope
He couldn't help but feel a sense of relief as he examined his ivory clad hands. When he became perfect the first time he was ecstatic, overjoyed that he had finally achieved his goal, his purpose for his very existence. Everything that Dr. Gero babbled about that had made no sense at all while in his larva state then came together, forming the perfect being. Then came Gohan, the son of Goku, with power that surpassed his perfect form and with two blasted punches he took it all away, leaving him with nothing, not even his pride. He turned into a sniveling coward, trembling at the boy's feet and he would have done anything to get out of the situation that he had put himself in because in the end it was his fault wasn't it? His Saiyan cells had caused him to throw all caution to the wind because he just had to see this hidden power that Goku claimed the boy had. He pushed the boy when he should have wrung his neck and be done with it all. But he hadn't and that had almost cost his life.
Things will be different this time.
"So I presume I'll look similar to you when I reach my perfect form."
The familiar voice brought him out of his vengeful thoughts, his purple orbs locking onto the creature before him. His counterpart's once ivory skin was now replaced with a deep shade of purple. His lanky body has bulked up yet he wasn't as big as he himself was, almost matching the slim sleekness that is his perfect form. The creature's eyes were lit up with amusement, his jaded gaze laughing almost as if saying 'I'm not even perfect yet I still look better than you'. How preposterous he chastened himself.
His counterpart briefly eyed the blond Android below with glee, silently telling him that if he ran, there would be hell to pay. This caused the Android to tense, making the Semi-Perfect being chuckle throaty.
The Perfect one frowned.
"So, why don't you let me take care of blondie down there so we can even up-"
"I will let you do no such thing."
He laughed. "Why not?"
"I'm not a fool. I know that we are about evenly matched right now. So let's settle this as we are now."
"Aren't you a bit curious to see my full power?"
Perfect Cell nearly laughed at what he once had asked the Saiyan Prince. Fortunately, I'm nowhere near stupid as him. "Not really."
"So you're afraid?"
"No, not in the slightest." He wasn't lying. Then why couldn't he stop his heart from thumping harshly against his chest?
Semi-Perfect nodded, though it was clear he didn't believe him. "Then at least, let's forget the warm-up and power to our max."
"Let's fight now."
"Coward."
Perfect nearly flinched at the harshness the single word carried, as they reminded him that he had been one in another time. Where…where did these doubts come from? I didn't feel these ridiculous emotions before-
"Hey, you seem to be thinking pretty hard there."
Perfect's eyes widened with surprise when he saw his counterpart just inches away, causing him to jump back in defense.
"You look like a deer, caught in headlights!" He cackled, making Perfect tremble with silent rage, tightening his fists.
Android Seventeen could only look on with disbelief. Is one seriously bullying the other?! Holy shit!
If it wasn't for the fact that his friend and his sister were consumed by those monsters he would have actually found this whole thing entertaining.
A Ghost From the Future
Having enough of his laughter, Perfect Cell shot forward, wanting to be the one to land the first blow, however his doppelganger was already ahead of him. Semi-Perfect fell back, leapt over him, finishing with a sideways kick to the back of the head, stunning Perfect and making his whole body jerk forward. Upon landing, Semi-Perfect swung his large tail but Perfect had regained his composure, using his right hand to catch the appendage and yank his enemy towards him, giving him a hard left to his face. After Semi-Perfect bounced from his fist, Perfect reeled him in yet again, this time kneeing him in his abdomen, causing him to double over. Unfortunately for Perfect, his opponent recovered instantly, wrapping his tail around his neck before whipping him aside.
"Big Bang Clash!" He bellowed, aiming one hand and letting loose a spiraling red ball of energy.
Perfect's feet dug deep within the land, grounding himself as he then push off towards Semi-Perfect, quickly striking the red ki attack aside and slamming into him, both of the Androids exploding in a fury of punches and kicks that shook the terrain to the point that the tectonic plates viciously grinded against each other. One of Perfect's punches landed, thrusting his counterpart far back, proceeding to hurl a ball of ki towards him, in which Semi-Perfect was able to deflect. The purple creature did a hard curve to the right, nearly smashing into his counterpart, however Perfect disappeared from sight, shocking his counterpart when he drove a fist to his back, causing him to gasp and stumble forwards. Frowning deeply, Perfect sneered as he delivered a second fist to his back, vanishing again before slamming a ground shaking fist to his face, purple blood spilling from his counterpart's lips as he whizzed back. Appearing ahead of him, Perfect Cell kicked him upwards before flying above and elbowing him in the stomach, the look of pure disbelief on his foe's face causing a satisfactory gleam to show through his eyes while he watched him get buried deep underground.
Not wasting time, Perfect Cell cupped his hands together, placing them next to his right hip as a blue ball of ki began to glow within them.
"KAAMEEE-"
Semi-Perfect exploded from the ground, ripping through the air as he attempted to put a stop to the charging attack. His fist hitting nothing, Semi-Perfect sensed him behind him as he whirled around and tried to hit him again, only for the results to come back the same, making him growl in irritation.
"HAAAMEEE-"
Semi-Perfect smirked as he waited for him to fire the attack that will surely be a fail-
He was gone again.
Semi-Perfect began to panic, trying to locate his counterpart and there! He turned around only to see nothing. "How are you do-"
His eyes widened as he was now face to face with a large glowing ball of energy, the owner of it grinning victoriously. "Now who looks like the deer?"
"No! Not agai-"
"HAAAAAAAAA!"
The turtle hermit's technique erupted from his hands, slamming into his counterpart's face and within seconds his entire head disintegrated, his now useless body dropping down like a sack of potatoes.
Android Seventeen's jaded orbs followed the body until it crashed onto the ground, debris scattering everywhere; He was speechless.
Perfect Cell just waited for the inevitable.

"Oh man, both those things have gotten millions of times stronger now!" Yamcha exclaimed, fear snaking its way up his spine.
"Which means each of those monsters have absorbed one of the Androids." Bulma explained with baby Trunks in hand, tucked against her chest.
Krillin grunted, his fingers digging into his palm in silent rage. "Then there is only one Android left." I hope Eighteen wasn't one of the them…
While Tien mirrored Krillin's expression, Goku had a somewhat defeated look, which honestly surprised Bra since she's used to him showing anger or determination at times when things look grim. He was never one to look at the glass half empty and that-that just didn't settle well with her. None of them were powerful enough to take Cell on before, imagine now that he has absorbed one of the Android. Not to mention that now it wasn't just one Cell, but two. The Saiyan Princess couldn't help but briefly let her thoughts wonder, comparing the sense of helplessness she felt now to how she felt in her timeline when Majin-
NO!
"I'm going down there." Bra blurted out.
"Are you insane!?" Bulma shrieked. "That thing took you out like nothing! Trunks almost died last time and I don't think I could-"
"Mom, I'm not going to actually fight him! I'm not that crazy!" Her daughter assured, though even she didn't believe herself. "If I can get the last Android out of there, we can prevent them from getting stronger. From what I'm sensing down there, both the Cells are fighting each other so they'll be distracted."
"What if the Android already took off?"
"Well uhhh…I'll just come back?" She hadn't thought that far, in fact she hadn't thought at all when she declared her plan. "Besides, I don't think the Android left because neither of the Cells would let the Droid get away. Hopefully a little distraction can…ugh look I don't know what the hell to do! I just don't want to sit here and do nothing! Dad and Brother aren't coming out of there any time soon and if we wait, we run the risk of one of those things getting even stronger!"
Goku made his way towards Bra. "Bra…"
"I'm not your son Goku! So don't try to stop me…"The Saiyan Princess trailed off when she felt the older Saiyan's rough hand grasp hers, his touch making the world around her disappear.
To her surprise, Goku transformed, his piercing turquoise orbs never hers as she returned his stare, hers being one of curiosity. With a tiny smile, his golden aura flared to life and before she knew it, she felt a powerful stream of energy enter her body, giving her a brief surge of adrenaline. Seconds later, the older Saiyan's aura winked out of existence, his hair returning to its natural wild look. Despite all the strength she now had she still felt weak from the way he kindly smiled at her, his eyes shining with trust, making her knees buckle slightly.
"I gave you all the energy I had left. I still haven't recovered from my fight with Android 16, so what I gave you wasn't my full power. I know it isn't much, but if you use it at the right time, I'm sure one strong attack could maybe hold at least one of the Cells back…just…just be careful…"
And because he was too caring and sweet and trusting and she just freaking loved him so much, she threw caution to the wind, reeling him into a breath taking kiss. Bra felt like she was soaring through the air, her feet leaving the floor in order for her to level with the taller Saiyan. Her free hand shot to his spiked hair, sinking into it as Goku finally began to return the kiss. She was going to deepen the kiss but unfortunately a rather loud 'ahem' brought her back down to Earth.
Bra's aqua eyes lock on a pair of similar ones, the owner of them smiling cheekily. She turned bright red when she felt many pairs of eyes on her, looks of absolute shock on their faces as the mystery of Goku's divorce was finally revealed. Good going princess… she thought, forcing the strong urge to slap her forehead down.
"D-did I just see that? Guys?!" Krillin stuttered out, wide eyes staring at Goku like he had sprouted another head.
"Whoa…" was all Tien could say. Even though he never cared since well it wasn't his business, he was still surprised that Goku had done such an act with not a random woman, but the daughter of Bulma and Vegeta, a daughter who wasn't even from this time. From the look of Bulma's face, it appeared that she has known for either a while or all along because she didn't look the least bit angry. In fact, she was trying to suppress a giggle with her free hand. I doubt Vegeta would feel that way…
As for Yamcha, he at first had a look of jealousy since he did find Bra to be a super-hot version of Bulma, not that he would ever tell them that. He had many times berated himself for ruining the relationship he had with Bulma since well he did and still does have feelings for her. He could still remember when he got caught with another in bed, the green-blue haired woman threatening to rip his boys off if he ever tried touched her again. And while there was a very slim chance that Bulma might not follow through with that (again, he didn't actually believe that), he was hella sure that the daughter of the Prince would. No….she would just kill me…
"Well damn Goku! Didn't think you had it in ya! With the daughter of the Prince out of all women? So how was it pal? Did- ah!" Yamcha leaped to the right, avoiding an energy blast fired by the Saiyan Princess.
Mumbling something about checking on his son, Goku turned and walking away. He was clearly still ashamed and embarrassed of sabatoshing his own marriage. He knew eventually he would have to make amends with his ex-wife. He knew they would never get back together at this point, but he still would like to remain as friends. They did have a son together and for his sake they just have to right?
His mind fleetingly returned to a dream he had while he was bedridden. He had dreamed that he had apologized to Chi-Chi and she had refused to accept it, beating on his form and crying hysterically, eyes filled with betrayal and staring at him loathingly. Yet for some reason, he heard a faraway voice that sounded like Chi-Chi's, stating that he was forgiven.
Pushing those thoughts aside, he walked inside the room his son was in and sat on the bed. As he watched Gohan sleep quietly, his thoughts went back to more pressing matters like how in Kami's name were they going to defeat both the Cells. He wasn't too worried about Bra because…well he wasn't really sure honestly. He just trusted her to make the right choices and remain safe. If not, I'll be there to save you…
"So…none of you are going to tell my father about this right?" Bra raised an eyebrow when she saw Krillin and Yamcha pale. Yesh I'm not that scary…am I?
"Listen here Bra, me and Krillin do our fair share of teasing," The former bandit spoke, earning a heated glare from the bald man. "But when it comes to Vegeta…yeah we stay away from that. He was behind my death the first time we 'met', I seriously don't want to die again!"
Bra frowned. She sometimes did forget that her father wasn't always such a 'good guy'. But then again, if I was pretty much under service of an evil planet conquering lizard, I'd want to kill everyone too.
"Oh come on guys, as messed up as this is going to sound, that was years ago! He's a much nicer person now! In fact, he could at times be romantic!" Bulma sang, little hearts literally floating within her big round eyes.
"Anyways, don't worry! Our lips are sealed!" Krillin assured, rolling his eyes at his longtime friend's blind love. "But hey, I was thinking…why don't you let some of us come with you?" He stated, eyeing Tien and Yamcha, the latter of the two rapidly shaking his head negatively.
"Count me out!" Yamcha yelped out.
Tien nodded, "Count me in!"
Bra looked like she was going to protest, telling them that it was too dangerous but she stopped herself, realizing that she'd be a hypocrite if she said that to them. "Are you guys sure?" she asked, in which her two friends nodded. "Okay, let's go while the two Cells are battling it out."
"Wait!"
Just as the female Saiyan spun around, she was pulled into a sideways motherly hug, causing a smile to form on her lips as she returned the heartwarming gesture. "Please be careful…don't pull a Trunks on me okay?"
Bra frowned as she remembered how close her brother was near death's door not too long ago. "I can't promise anything, but I will try…"
"Hey! You don't say things like that to a mother! You think I said, 'I'll try to be safe' to my mother when I want out on the journey for the Dragon Balls years back?! Try again!"
Bra signed. She was just trying to be honest. "Okay, I promise…"
Bulma frowned, shaking her head. "Try again…"
Bra smiled brightly, a smile that mirrored her mother's. "I promise mom! I'll be back in a jiffy!"
"Close enough I guess." Bulma pouted, giving her one last hug as she then watched her daughter dive off the Lookout, followed by Krillin and Tien.
Making sure to lower their power level to the absolute minimum, Bra took the lead with Krillin on the left and Tien on the right. Bra couldn't help but feel annoyed at the beady little eyes that glanced at her every now and then.
"Krillin, stop doing that. Just say what's on your mind already."
So Krillin did. "It's just that I'm surprised that Goku would even do that…it's just hard to believe but-"
Bra growled. "I swear you all make me look like the evil slut who took Goku's innocents!" She almost blushed because uhhh, she kinda did. "Well news flash, it was Goku who kissed me first!" and since she felt like shit for throwing him under the bus, she added, "But it doesn't mean that I don't blame myself every day…I do feel like a bitch for this mess ya know."
Though he was surprised that Goku would do such a thing, he didn't voice it as he noticed Bra's eyes water, the wind scattering the droplets seconds after. "You love him don't you?"
Bra thought of denying it but instead gave a terse laughter. "That obvious huh…"
"Does he know?"
She shook her head. "Doubt it."
Krillin smiled slightly as he recalled the kiss between the Saiyan Princess and his best friend, taking note on the way he returned the kiss. I don't know about that…
"We're almost there guys." Tien said, breaking his silence.
It was only moments later that they saw one of the Cells blow the head off the other, causing their jaws to drop as they watched the beheaded one thud against the ground.
DBZDBZDBZDBZxxxxxxxxxDBZDBZDBZDBZ
As they neared the battlefield, making sure to keep an eye on the still afloat Cell, Tien took note of the blond haired Android. It didn't look like he was leaving anytime soon, obviously too enticed with the battle which looked like it ended, the lifeless thick body of the purple creature stock-still on the ground.
Krillin's heart sunk when he saw that the brunette beauty was nowhere to be found, meaning that one of the Cells had absorbed her. Darn it…
Bra, who had left the two other warriors behind, signaled at them to join her behind a few large boulders, in a rocky landscape area which was a reasonable amount of distance from the blond Android.
"So it looks like Android 16 and 17 are gone-"
"Eighteen." Krillin corrected, blushing shorty after when he saw the Princess raise a brow.
Bra nodded, smirking knowingly but didn't push the subject, in which the former bald monk was thankful for. "Right, Eighteen."
Aqua eyes flickered back to the airborne Cell, whose violet orbs were burning with hatred, the loathsome glare all being directed to his motionless counterpart. From his sleeker and more humanoid body, Bra figured that that Cell was the one that came from the second cocoon.
"The headless one must be the one from earlier." Tien said, coming to the same conclusion as Bra.
Krillin looked at the perfect being with confusion. "Uhhh why is he just-" He nearly squealed and fainted when he saw the decapitated Cell curl his legs towards his stomach before launching forwards and landing on his feet. He gagged when the hole where the creature's head used to be bubbled to life, twitching and jerking wildly until he was headless no more.
"You know," Semi-Perfect paused, twisting his head from side to side, trying to shake the tight knots on his neck. "That is the second time someone from this timeline has taken my head off…" His voice faded, an angry frown staining his lips.
"And quite frankly-"
Perfect Cell's eyes widen when his counterpart abruptly vanished. He searched everywhere, hoping to get some kind of indication where he went but he could-
Pain exploded from the right side of his head, causing him to see stars before another hook slammed into him again, this time from his left. A third strike came from above, a nice dent forming on the middle of his skull, his teeth piercing his tongue as he was sent hurling downwards so fast that the spectators were barely able to discern the figure until he crashed through the ground.
"I am sick of it!" Semi-Perfect bellowed out, his hands curling so tightly that his sharp black nails actually drew blood. His aura blazed to life, his power shooting so high that it now eclipsed his counterpart's.
Looked up from below, Perfect coughed harshly, purple blood slithering down his nose as he watched the insane expression plastered on Semi-Perfect's face. He groaned when he attempted to rise onto his feet but failed, the dizziness clouding his head making him feel nauseous. "What-what is this?! Thr-three punches and I'm already down!" He hissed out, his teeth grinding against each other from the pounding headache that constantly thumped against his head.
His glazed eyes was finally able to focus on his foe, however what he saw just about turned him as pale as his green skin. "No…it can't be!" He slurred out, his vision blurring over again when he caught sight of a small figure, his blond hair spiked up ridiculously as a spiteful pair of turquoise eyes flashed before his. "The b-boy can't be this strong here! He just can't!"
With a rage filled scream he blasted from the ground towards his maxed out semi-perfect counterpart, who smirked confidently when he caught the flying fist. He temporarily lost his ability to fly when his wild eyes caught a pair of mocking jaded one. Perfect lost his breath as a heavily fist was rammed into his stomach
"You? 'Perfect'? Pfft!" Semi-Perfect sneered out, as he began to rapidly deliver full powered punches to his face and chest, making his body spasm and jerk awkwardly.
With every fist that made contact with his body, purple blood spilled from his lips, his line of vision began to fade as Semi-Perfect savagely clobbered him with all his might. Perfect has never felt so much pain before, well not since his last fight but for some reason, this felt so much worse. Maybe it was the fact that he was getting trashed by basically himself or maybe it was because he was losing focus on reality, his blotched up eyes seeing nothing but haunting turquoise orbs. Dread ran down his spine as soon all he saw was that boy and shit Perfect Cell just couldn't breathe.
Bra, Tien, and Krillin, along with Seventeen almost turned away from the brutality in front of them.
"Kami…is-is he ever going to stop?!" Krillin asked, though who he didn't know.
Everything felt surreal. He would say that this could be compared with how Frieza beat Vegeta but hell he couldn't! This was much worse because this monster just didn't stop, never paused at all and at this point Semi-Perfect's opponent, no, more like punching bag was dead weight.
Tien winced when a particular fist made a disgusting crunching noise. "Man…this is bad you guys. If we have to fight against that thing…I don't know if we could win…"
As for the Saiyan Princess, she was both sick and pissed, her shaking fists and trembling form clearly showing that. It wasn't because the other Cell was getting beaten to a bloody pulp, no, hell no! it was because that hideous purple shit was grinning with so much glee that it reminded her of a certain overgrown pink chewing gum! With a sudden movement of her right arm, catching Krillin and Tien's attention, Bra's body lit up faintly, her eyes shining from aqua to turquoise as her forehead creased with concentration. Since she had to keep her power level to a bare minimum, she couldn't risk finishing the transformation, so a slow charge will have to do.
"Bra…don't pull a Vegeta and do something stupid without thinking properly…" Krillin warned, surprisingly causing the half Saiyan to bark out a small laugh.
"I'm not," She assured, making Krillin sign with relief. "It's just a plan I just thought of."
Tien nodded. "Go on." he urged, breaking his focus on the horrible one-sided battle of Semi-Perfect ping-ponging his doppelganger with kicks.
"Okay, so blondie over there," She gestured to said Android, who was still engrossed with the battle, even though he should turn away because he looked like he was going to puke. "Doesn't look like he's going to move at all. And of course this is bad cause once the stronger Cell is done with the other, which won't be long from now, you can bet your ass he's going after him. When the fight is settled and there is only one left , you," she pointed at Krillin, making his eyes widen. "Are going over there and talk him into leaving the area while Tien and I distract Cell-"
"You're kidding right?!" Upon only receiving a stoic stare, he turned pale. "Why do I have to go down there?" He whined.
Bra rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. "Because one, you're…hate to say this, the weakest one out of the three of us. And two, I need Tien for my partake of the plan since-"
And that's when Perfect's not so perfect body smashed into the ground, a soundless gasp struggling to slip from his lips but to no avail, as his throat was pretty much clogged with blood. After a few more strangled coughs, he finally was able to spit out the purple substance, greedily taking in as much air into his lungs as he could.
Semi-Perfect landed several inches from his battered counterpart, his long tail whipping about while he watched him shakily stand onto his feet, wobbling back and forth as jaded orbs followed his every movement with pleasure.
He took one step forward, the other taking one step back. This repeated for a good minute before his defeated counterpart could stand no longer and fell flat on the ground.
Semi-Perfect smirked, making Perfect's stomach churn with hatred mixed with fear. Yes, he was afraid...because he was losing…again. This-this is not fair! This wa-was supposed to be my second chance! And out of anyone else to be able to defeat me, it had to be me! If he wasn't in so much pain, he most likely would have laughed at the absurdity of it all.
"You…you disgust me…" He whispered, his smug look warping into anger. "Just pure trash! How in the hell could you be a version of me?! Tell me…is…are you truly in your perfect form? Or is it that you are in the second form as I am? We obvious look different."
"I-I am complete…." Perfect coughed out, staggering back onto his feet. "I-I have-Ugh!" He hackled a throaty cough, purple blood spilling to the ground, the bruise on his eyes so big that he could barely see through them. "I ha-VE absorbed the Sevent-teen from my timeline. So with my re-absorption of Eighteen, I am perfect again."
Semi-Perfect's head cocked to the side, the three hidden warriors along with Seventeen listening carefully, hoping that what he said next would be something useful.
"Again? You mean you had been 'perfect' before but you lost it? How is that even possible?" He truly was curious since this was new to him. He thought that once he became perfect, he would always remain that way.
And because he was so messed up and most likely had a concussion he blurted out information that he should have kept to himself. "Apparently, a ver-very perfectly aimed punch to the abdomen could cause that."
"Oh really?"
Realizing his blunder, he said nothing.
"let's test that out…"
"Whah-AH!"
Perfect's violet orbs widen to the sizes of saucers as a thick purple fist was suddenly rammed into his stomach, making him gasp loudly, his voice wheezing out pathetically, swaying erratically.
Semi-Perfect frowned. "Well that didn't work? How about again?"
Before he could protest, another powerful fist was indented into his stomach, this time the purple monster making sure to keep his fist still for a while. When he yanked himself back, he did it again.
And again
And again and well it keep on going and going until he just started making a game out of it, the twisted smile never leaving his lips. With one final thrust, Perfect fell back, gagging fiercely, every second becoming a struggle to stay standing and just not throw up. His chest suddenly swelled up along with his form, something within his body straining to be released as his jaw dropped open and his neck thickened.
Krillin's eyes enlarged, his mind blown at what he was witnessing. "Guys, his power! He's growing weaker!"
Bra remained silent, not wanting to lose her grip on the amount of power she was building up.
Tien's expression didn't change, well at first anyways because as soon as Perfect's maw opened as wide as possible, a large human-sized glob of spite spilled right out, landing on the ground with a wet splat.
Even the Saiyan Princess couldn't keep a straight face at what she was seeing. "What the shit? Is that-"
"E-Eighteen?!" Seventeen gasped, astonished that he just saw a revolting creature just throw up his sister like-like what the hell!?
Semi-Perfect Cell smirked as he gazed at the saliva laced brunette, who was splayed on the ground, motionlessly. If it wasn't for the small raspy cough and the slight jolt of her body, he would have thought she was dead.
"Well I'll be! So you weren't lying after all!" Semi-Perfect laughed out.
The once perfect being just toppled down, the only thing he was able to see was the hazy shadow of a boy, whose sharp turquoise orbs burned into his very soul, making him quiver with terror.
"What are you so afraid of Cell? Isn't this what you wanted? I warned you! I told you what would happen if you pushed me too far! But you didn't listen! You forced me to awaken my hidden power! And now that you've seen it, you're afraid...because you know that I'm going to destroy you!"(1)
"NO! STAY AWAY!" He exclaimed, fretfully staring at a ghost only he could see.
A/N: So what the hell is this? I have no idea! It's kinda writing itself now. A big reason for his was to show you guys just how much damage Gohan did to Cell not just physically but emotionally. I like to think that if Cell had been defeated by Gohan, after loosing Android 18, he would have been dramatized like Frieza, who was a fearful of Goku when he defeated him. When Cell came back as Super Perfect, he was very confident and had no doubt that he would lose. So when he died, it wasn't as much of an impact as it would have been before. Just my thoughts...
The second reason was that I just didn't know how to deal with Android 17, with his interaction with the Z-Fighters so I was like screw it, I want 18 back. But I'm glad I got to do this because I really liked this last scene...except the whole Cell and spitting thing...eww gross ='(
(1) And yes that's a direct quote from the Dragon ball Z Anime, Episode 187, "Cell's Breakdown"
Hope you all enjoyed it because this was...a struggle and a half. I bust my ass for YOU! That and of course I enjoy it or else this would have been dumped long ago. But gonna be honest with you all, update always depend on reviews, no matter how much I (or others) tell you different. I mean don't you see how some authors get thousands of reviews and than when ONE person says something negative they get destroyed! Some even just abandon it, despite having seemingly endless reviews, adds, and favs coming in! I WILL update, just slower.
Til next...wait! I got a little bonus thing! Remember how in the previous chapter I said that I originally was going to have 17 get absorbed instead of 18? Well I had actually wrote it and saved it before I removed it and replaced it with the one here. It's just the ending part that was different anyways, so the chapter is pretty much the same. So I'm only posting that part, it's very short. Give it a read! (THIS IS NOT PART OF THE STORY!)
Deleted Scene Chapter 22 - Original title (Gohan's Loss of Control and Eighteen's Breakdown)
"Seventeen! We have to help him!" Eighteen's urgent demand caused Seventeen to tear his jaded eyes from the rather disturbing sight of Sixteen's form slipping deeper and deeper inside Cell's tail, the upper part of the appendage enlarging to fit the Android's big frame.
"The-there is nothing we can do…we should just leave be-"
"Ugh you're such a selfish prick!" Eighteen interrupted. "Fine! I'll do it myself!" She sneered out, taking off seconds before her brother could stop her, his hand dropping in defeat.
"Eighteen! Don't be stupid-"
"Oh hell, I didn't want to take you in again! Ah screw it!"
At hearing the odd deep voice behind him, Seventeen barely had any time to speak much less register the wide tan funnel over his head when he turned, the tail slamming right over his form, a quarter of his body disappearing inside.
Upon hearing her brother's half yelp, Eighteen screeched to halt, turned, only to see-
"You hav-have got to be shitting me!" Imagine her surprise when her jaded orbs caught sight of a nearly identical creature devouring her brother.
The poor Android was tore as she watched the two people she cared for most literally disappearing right before her glistening eyes, her hand cupping her mouth in order to choke back a sob.
The brunette's legs buckled, becoming weak at seeing both Seventeen and Sixteen consumed entirely by each of the Cells.
Then as she dropped right down onto her knees, fear and panic filling up to the brim of her stomach, almost making her want to vomit, both of the creatures started to transform.
"Monsters…" Eighteen whispered shakingly while curling into a small ball, her arms wrapped tightly around her.
What do you guys think? Better or worse? I like the newer one better, but this wasn't bad.
