A/N: Yo peeps, here ya go, enjoy!
Krillin almost fell off his feet when the ground trembled violently, his eye sight being obscured by a brilliant white light that lit the midnight sky. His fist shook with anger as he witnessed yet another island wiped out from existence, most likely killing everyone and everything on it. The former monk turned to the Androids, Seventeen crouched down with his back against an elevated landscape which looked like a mini mountain. Next to him was his brunette sister, who still hasn't awakened. Her prolonged state of unconsciousness made both Krillin and Seventeen concerned. They don't know what she went through while she was inside that…thing and they were afraid that perhaps she was exposed to some kind of chemical within Cell's body. However, she didn't show signs of pain and she was breathing regularly, which brought them into a silent agreement that she was fine.
Krillin exhaled, feeling weary from the fight hours back (even though he didn't actually fight) as he made his way to the blond Android, who eyed him curiously. The small man gave a weak smile, leaning against a tree, then falling down into a crouch similar to Seventeen's.
"So…I'm curious…are you both actually Androids?" He didn't know what exactly made him ask the question or why he even bothered, because he sure as hell knew he didn't have a chance with her…that…and her brother would probably murder him.
Seventeen gave him a look.
"What? If we're gonna be here for a while we might as well get to know each other better right?"
Seventeen narrowed his jaded eyes, making Krillin gulp nervously. He then broke into a grin and he immediately knew where this conversation was going.
"Why? You wanna know if Eighteen has the…parts… as a normal woman does?" He asked slyly.
Krillin's eyes widen, his neck turning red as he waved his hands comically. "Wha?! No! That's not it at all! I'm just curious since ya know, you guys aren't like the Androids we faced yesterday!"
Seventeen chucked, clearly enjoying teasing the former monk. "Relax baldy, it was a joke." Krillin's tensions lessened until the Android added, "But I'm not stupid, I know you have a crush on her."
"No I don't!" he stated and though it sounded confident while he said it in his head, when it actually came out of his lips it wasn't.
Seventeen's smile dropped, his face taking on a look that Krillin couldn't quite put his finger on.
He sighed before he spoke. "Look baldly, we're not technically Androids. We are actually Cyborgs, so we thankfully have our…parts."
Krillin released a breath he didn't know he had been holding. Now I don't have to feel guilty for liking her!
And Seventeen found himself talking for some reason. "My sis and I, we don't remember a lot of our past life you know? We were taken at a young age by the old bastard. I can remember feeling scared … but other than that, I can't put together much. Though when I 'first' saw Eighteen, I knew instantly she was my sister. Of course we look alike, we're twins but at the time I also didn't even know how I looked like. Just kinda knew and I…and it gets me wondering if…if the reason that I know that she's my sister was because Gero left that memory intact or that I knew cause it's like, a twin thing or something."
Krillin was taken aback, surprised at the sudden change of the blond Android's attitude. Gone was the arrogant condescending act, being replaced with a down and gloomy look. Seventeen's face screwed up, berating himself for saying more than he wanted to.
Krillin was about to ask a question, but upon seeing the Android's expression, he decided against it since the likely hood that he would respond was slim to none.
There was a moment of silence before-
"ANDROIDS! COME OUT NOW! IF YOU DON'T, I WILL CONTINUE TO OBLITERATE ALL THESE ISLANDS!"
Shortly after his loud bellow, another island sunk into the ocean.
Krillin's eyes widen, as something that Cell had said came to mind, making him jog to Eighteen's prone form, picking her up, her head and legs dangling do to his small size.
Seventeen sat up quickly, eying the former monk. "What are you doing? He isn't even close to us. I'm sure we could just-"
"No! Don't you remember what he said earlier on? About how he could detect where you are, now that he had absorbed Sixteen?"
"What? I don't-"
He paused, as Cell's words filled his mind.
Then Cell appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, blocking their path, with an aqua haired Saiyan in a death grip.
"You're all fools! Did you really think I couldn't sense you!?"
Bra gurgled, her hands trying to pry his thick locked arm around her neck. "H-ow?" She managed to ask.
"You can thank Sixteen for that. He's different from the other two Androids, in that he has an internal energy signature scanner that is much more precise than the norm. Also, it seems like he was able to sense Seventeen and Eighteen, which is something that shouldn't be possible since they don't have energy signatures. You know what that means Seventeen don't you? You can run but you can't hide!" He sang, laughing at the angry expression on the blond Android's face.
"You can run but you can't hide!"
His mouth dropped. "Oh shit! I can't believe I forgot about that…but if that were true, then he should have found us already right?" The blond man then smirked. "I bet he was bluffing."
Krillin raised a brow. "Do you really want to test that? I mean it could be that he must to be within a certain amount of distance for his senses to work. For all you know, he just need to be a couple of more-"
Seventeen swallowed thickly, shivering when he recalled his friend and sister being sucked inside the monsters' tail.
"Fine, let's go." He decided.
Krillin nodded, making sure Eighteen was tightly within his grasp as they both took off, hovering just inches from the vast blue ocean.
"Hey baldly…"
"Yeah?"
"You're…you're alright…"
Because Krillin was in front of the blond young man, Seventeen didn't see the small smile that spread along his lips.
Yet Another Mistake
The sun was just starting to rise when the Saiyan Princess returned to her temporary room at the Lookout. She yawned quietly, giving a good stretch by arching her back, her chest thrusting into the air. She gazed at the full Saiyan, suppressing a giggle when she saw that during her time away, one of his arms had spread over his head while the other nested against his chest with the sling intact, his left leg dangling off the edge of the bed, snoring loudly. She figured he must have been very exhausted, seeing as how he only snores when he's low on energy….not that she knew that because she used to watch him sleep when she was younger…nope, totally not that at all. And she totally only took off her white shirt, leaving her namesake on of course, because it was tore up and also hot.
She hesitated when her knees pressed onto the soft bed, before throwing all caution to the wind and crawling next to the older Saiyan. Curling beside him, her head resting on his bare chest, she sighed with contentment, his natural scent which filled her nose making her stomach flutter with the blasted butterflies. Damn it…what is it about you that makes me feel this way…
The guilt consuming her mind did not deter her from smiling though.
DBZDBZDBZDBZxxxxxxxxxDBZDBZDBZDBZ
A loud obnoxious noise boomed through the halls, stirring Bra from her slumber. She groaned, feeling cranky from being awaken from what sounded like the Hyperbolic Time Ch-
She shot upwards, the need to fall back asleep leaving her. Her brows hid behind her bangs when she noticed that Goku was no longer in the bed. She looked ahead and saw the Saiyan standing tall with his blue undershirt covering his once bare chest, causing the half Saiyan to push down the need to pout.
"We should go and see Vegeta and Trunks….despite suppressing there power, I can tell they have undeniably gotten stronger. Especially Vegeta."
"You're not disappointed are you?" She smirked, already knowing what his answer was going to be.
Goku faced her, giving the Princess that smile, which seemed to be solely for her. She couldn't help but compare it to his future counterpart's, however she felt that since the nature of their relationship is different here, it met so much more.
"Not at all. You see, the best part of letting Vegeta go first is that now I know what I need to surpass."
"Feeling confident huh?"
Goku smirked, the smirk he used while in battle, making Bra mentally squeal in excitement. So hot…okay…I really need to stop this shit!
Bra briefly gauged the older Saiyan's demeanor, shivered when she could feel his self-confidence radiating from him and right then and there, she started to realize just how much different this Goku was from her timelines. He was much cockier and unfortunately didn't smile as brightly, probably do to her screwing up his relationship with his wife by literally getting screwed. She was always into the bad boy type and while the Goku from her time wasn't at all unless he was fighting, she certainly didn't mind this change.
The Earth raised Saiyan never replied to her, simply walking out, Bra following like a lovesick puppy.
"I'm sure you don't want to walk out in just that."
Bra tilted her head, then realized that she had been about to expose herself, which in turn would make her father along with Trunks suspicious. "Oops…Thanks…heh for uhh reminding me…" she blushed as she twirled around and ran to grab her messed up shirt, since it was the only one she as of now. Kami! Good thing he pointed that out! Also it would be smart for him to go out first so it doesn't seem like we were in the same room!
As he watched Bra dart back to the room, he strode until he was finally out in the open, his black eyes witnessing Bulma fussing with her son's blond hair, making Trunks turn pink. Goku figured that this was the 'Full Power Super Saiyan" form that Bra had spoken off. He then looked at Vegeta, who was still in his base form, having the usual scowl on his face along with his arms being crossed. I wonder why Vegeta isn't Full Power Super Saiyan too…Also present were Yamcha, Mr. Popo, Chiaotzu and Gohan, who stood next to surprisingly Piccolo, looking almost one-hundred percent. Wow, Namekian regeneration is really something.
Bulma gave a look of confusion upon facing Vegeta. "Why is it that your hair is the same…now looking back on it, Goku's hair never has changed either!"
Vegeta growled when he was abruptly cut off by his future daughter.
"'A pure Saiyan's hair does not change from the day he is born.'" Bra answered. It didn't help that she had tried to impersonate him, deepening her voice and all.
Her mother giggled while Yamcha smiled, though when Vegeta glared at him, his lips straighten out.
"Wow! Interesting! Good think I'm not a Saiyan then! I like having the option to be able to change the style of my hair!" Bulma said, sighing happily. "Anyways, here is-"
"Wait…where is Tien and Krillin?!" Trunks whipped his head from side to side, trying to spot the triclops and former monk.
Everyone's head sunk, Chiaotzu's small body shaking as he was always the closest to Tien. Trunks clutched his fist angrily as he had wanted to prevent any death at all cost. Damn it!
Bra responded, deciding that it was now the best time to explain everything that has happened "Krillin is currently hiding from Cell with Android 17 and 18. The Cell you can sense now had absorbed one of the Androids, obviously Sixteen. The green Cell had absorbed Android 18 before me, Krillin, and Tien arrived. From what I can tell, the ivory Cell is the strongest of both since once he consumed Android 16, he looked similar to the green Cell before he absorbed Android 18."
"But you just said Android 18 is with Krillin and Android 17….hold up! You just said different colored Cells! Then that means…that the other much larger cocoon has made its appearance!" Trunks panicked as he realized that things just got worse while he and his father were absent.
"Yeah…which brings me to something useful that we learned while we watched both the Cells beating the living hell out of each other. At one point, when the strongest Cell, the ivory one, was pretty much dominating the other one, he literally pounded his stomach so hard, that he throw up Android 18! It was like the most disgusting thing I've ever seen!"
The Z-fighters grimaced, Bulma actually turning green as she tried not to picture the monster vomiting.
Bra continued. "I think you all know where this is going right? And since father wants to go and recklessly throw himself at Cell, I'll wrap this up." Vegeta snorted. "Yes, the green Cell is dead, the other one killing him, which in turn tells us that despite the green one being in his most powerful form, the strongest was still the one in his Semi-Perfect state."
"That's probably do to the fact that he had consumed the Trunks from his own timeline before hijacking him to come here." Piccolo gave his input.
Trunks shook.
"Probably. Also, we now know that it is possible to make him regress to his first form."
Vegeta smirked, saying, "So all we have to do is basically beat the hell out of him? That won't be a problem! In fact, Kakarot, don't even bother going in the Time Chamber because by the time you come out, Cell along with the other Androids will be long destroyed!"
Goku smiled. "So I take it that you were able to reach Super Saiyan 2 huh?"
"Well we-"
"Do not tell them of our training boy! Now if you all would excuse me, I have some trash to take care off!" Vegeta laughed as he shot off, Trunks taking off after him, but not without promising his mom that he would be careful and also taking a pair of Senzu Beans from Mr. Popo, which he had picked up from Korin early on today.
As he watched Trunks and Vegeta turn to mere specks of golden light, Goku couldn't help but grin in excitement. Finally he was going to be able to train to become stronger than he ever was. But it wasn't just Goku who was going inside, no, Gohan would be joining him. And because his son would be in there, he had another goal, which he aimed to make his top priority; that was to help Gohan gain control of that strange power within him. From what Bra had said, his son already has shown all the traits that a Super Saiyan 2 has, the only difference being the crimson eyes, aura and lightning. That means that if he were to train him properly, he would most likely be the one to finish Cell. Sure Vegeta or Trunks could have the ability to be a Super Saiyan 2, but given the Prince's track record…he probably will do something stupid and make things worse. All he could hope for is for the two Saiyan's to at least stall for more time if they can't beat him.
Goku snapped his fingers together, not only to try release a little of his restlessness, but to get the groups attention.
Once everyone's eyes were on him, he spoke. "Okay, so like I said yesterday, Gohan and I will go in now. Then Piccolo and Bra can-"
The Namek's head shaking caused Goku to pause. "I'd rather go in by myself Goku, no offence to you Bra."
"Non-taken." Bra smiled weakly, hating that she was pretty much forced to go in by herself…for a whole year…I can do this! I know I can….who am I kidding, I'll go crazy in there if I go alone!
Goku frowned, then sighed. "Well…then I guess one of us will have to go in there again when we return because it doesn't seem like Bra wants to go in alone." He grimaced at the obviously fake grin she was giving him, which he assumed was supposed to be reassuring one. "Piccolo, you don't mind going after Bra and who ever she goes with right?"
"Not at all." Piccolo replied, nonchalantly.
"And if no one wants to go in again, I'll just go with her. So Gohan, let's-"
Then Bra, being well you know…Bra…went and fucked everything up yet again. Because as soon as Goku had pretty much said that she could go with him, the sense of relief and joy overwhelmed her so much that just like yesterday, she threw all restraint out the window and leaped at the older Saiyan, pulling him into a searing kiss. And Goku, unable to resist the soft lips being pressed against his, wrapped his arms around her waist, returning the kiss fervently.
"Kami…so it was you…"
To Bra and Goku, it had felt like the temperature in the Lookout had dropped much lower than it already was. Oh man oh man! Damn! I forgot that his son was here! Shit-shit-SHIT
When both of the Saiyans peeled off each other, they along with the rest of the group watched Gohan pacing back and forth so fast, that it wouldn't be surprising if he starting tearing right through the white tiles.
"I can't…I can't believe it! You were right there!" Gohan yelled, his form shaking with anger. His index finger jutted out, pointing at the Saiyan Princess with accusation. "You were right there! You were the only one who was! I can't believe how stupid I could be! Of course you had to be the one he cheated with because you were the only other girl that-fudge!"
If the situation wasn't so seriously, the Z-Gang probably would have laughed at the son of Goku's ability to refrain from swearing, a moral that was no doubt beaten into his head by his mother. Gohan's blazing red eyes were filled with rage that he was desperately trying to keep in.
"Gohan…calm down-I can explain!" when Goku took a step forward, his son took one back.
"Stay away! Do you know what mom went through because of both of YOU! No! I refuse to go in with Goku!"
Goku flinched; his heart feeling like it was ripped from his chest at hearing his own son saying his name with so much hate. His son calling him by his name instead of dad added salt to the already large wound.
"Piccolo! Please let me go with you! I know you said you want to go alone, but I don't think I can stand being a year inside there with him!"
Piccolo never understood things having to do with humans, or any other race that had to have a female partner in order to reproduce, the Namekians being asexual creatures. He however, understood being fond of someone, a platonic friendship, the first being the kid in front of him. Gohan was the boy that had melted his once cold heart, which was passed down from his deceased father, King Piccolo. He was like the son he never had, so it hurt him greatly to know that he was going to have to disappoint him.
The Namek leveled with Gohan, grabbing his small shoulders to make sure that he would only keep his eyes with his. "Listen kid…as much as I would like to take you with me and train like old times…it would do you no good"
"Why?" he asked without hesitation.
Piccolo chuckled. "Kid, are you kidding me! You are so much more powerful than I am at this point, or probably will ever be. I'm sure you can now recall the first time you fought Cell right? When you saved me from the blast?"
Gohan nodded.
"I had just merged with Kami and had surpassed everyone yet as soon as you let loose that hidden power that I knew you've always had, you exceeded me instantly! I'm willing to bet that if you have had complete control over your power then, Cell wouldn't even be walking among the living now. Also, don't think I didn't catch a glimpse of you giving Cell hell after Goku pulled me out of the ocean."
"But I'm sure that-"
"Gohan, I can't teach you more than I already have. You need someone that is closer to your level of power to train you and your father is the best person for that. So put this childish behavior aside, calm down and get in there with your father."
Gohan growled, looking away from his friend. His lids slid shut, as he began taking deep breaths, picturing all the tension that was within him wither away, just like his green mentor had taught him. Piccolo smirked when Gohan opened his eyes, pleased that they had regressed to their natural color.
"Okay…I'll do it…"
Piccolo ruffled his hair affectionately, giving him a small grin as he stood to his full height.
"Thanks Mr. Piccolo…I needed that."
"No problem kid."
With a small sigh, he eyed his father with disgust briefly before turning around and heading towards the large double doors without another word.
"Kami Goku…I'm so sorry…"
The full Saiyan gave her a weak smile. "Don't worry... he was going to find out eventually…I just didn't want him to find out like this. Besides as much as I hate to say this, he can use that hatred towards me to ascend."
Bra gasped, recoiled back at what the Saiyan just said. Bulma thrusted her baby into Yamcha's arms, which made him frown, and then jogged up to Goku, alarm written on her face.
"Goku don't say that! He'll forgive you one day, but don't go in there for a whole year, thinking that he hates you! Despite what you did…you were always great with your son! He adores you, even if it doesn't seem like it now!"
But as Goku eyes locked with his son's, the half Saiyan tapping his foot impatiently, he felt the hate practically burning into his soul.
This is why Bulma's words…were just words.
"As long as I could get him to control his power, he could hate me all he wants. It's no more than I deserve right? Besides, did you see how Piccolo got him to calm down? I'm his father and I couldn't even do that. But then again, he was always a better father figure than I ever was huh."
"Oh Goku…come on now…" Bulma pleaded.
"I better get going before he blows the doors open and goes in without me."
"Okay…but take these with you." Bulma handed the Saiyan a handful of white capsules. "Those contain a bunch of the protective Saiyan armor that you saw Vegeta and Trunks wearing. Good luck in there."
"Yeah, I will…thanks Bulma."
The blue haired woman smiled warmly at the melancholy Saiyan, giving him a sideways hug and then walked off, heading to retrieve her son from Yamcha.
When Goku looked at Bra, he noticed that she was avoiding his gaze, clearly ashamed of her actions. Like I was any better… a voice whispered bitterly.
He reached out, only to retract his hand back quickly. "I'll see you in a year..." he mumbled.
"I'll see you tomorrow…"
After waving at all his friends, he ran up to his son, who was burning holes into the wall with the nasty glare he was giving it.
Once the father and son vanished into the Time Chamber, Yamcha spoke.
"Well…that just happened."
Everyone scoffed at the former bandit, damning him and his stupid one liners.
DBZDBZDBZDBZxxxxxxxxxDBZDBZDBZDBZ
Krillin nearly leaped out of his skin when he heard Cell's voice echoing through the air. He had apparently fallen asleep while on watch duty. Gee what a great security guard I'd make…
He looked to where he had last seen the Androids and saw that they were missing!
"Oh man! Did Cell get to them?!"
"Hey baldy, over here!"
Krillin's head whipped to the source of the voice, his sights landing on Seventeen. The Android waved at him as he stood upon a rocky cliff that was heavily shaded by trees, the shadow providing an excellent spot to hide. It also seemed to have a nice view in case Cell was within sight. And next to that nice view was a beautiful jean cladded butt…Hey I recognize that butt! It's-
"Eighteen, balding is awake and it appears that he missed your ass tremendously!"
Seventeen grinned mischievously, as he witnessed the small man flail his hands wildly in a nervous manner.
"Oh look! Now he's making hand signals! And they are quiet suggestive if you know what I mean!"
Krillin just about pissed himself when Eighteen let out a sigh, walked up to her brother, proceeding to slap him upside the head.
"Ouch! What you do that for?" Seventeen pouted, giving his sister the kicked puppy look.
Eighteen rolled her jaded eyes, tucking her brunette hair behind her ear. "That was for being a dork."
"You love it."
"You're a brat."
"Takes one to know one!"
"I'm not following your childishness like last time!"
"Too bad, you already are!"
"Are not!"
"Are too!"
"Are NOT!"
"Are TOO!"
"Are too"
"Are not…damn! I can't believe I fell for that shit again!" Seventeen swore, before sighing in defeat, then returning to keep watch.
Krillin stared at them with astonishment. If they said they weren't related, I wouldn't believe them…
"Hey handsome, come over here and get some…" Eighteen cooed out, blowing a kiss at the former monk, and hell Krillin swore that his heart stopped for a lot longer than it should have.
Krillin gulped, as he leaped high into the air until he landed in front Eighteen and her brother.
"H-hey…"
Eighteen smiled tenderly. "So my brother told me you saved me by punching Cell in the stomach so hard…that he uhhh throw me up…" she stuttered, feeling very dirty…and she was since she would hardly call dipping into saltwater a bath.
Krillin's jaw dropped in disbelief.
"I totally didn't say that Eighteen! I said the other Cell punched the one that absorbed you!"
The brunette Android growled. "Yes you did! You were like, 'so baldly comes out of nowhere, sweat dripping down his rock hard abs as he gave an animalistic roar before thrusting his fist into Cell's stomach, causing the beast to vomit his beloved'!"
Krillin had to give Seventeen credit, seeing as how his serious expression never wavered. Then, with a shit-eating grin, he returned to what he was doing mere moments ago.
"Well…uhhh you see that didn't happen-"
Eighteen giggled which to Krillin, sounded angelic. "Of course it didn't. I just made it up."
Krillin couldn't believe his ears.
"See! I told you I didn't say any of that nonsense!" Seventeen said, bending over to get a better view. "So baldy, I need you to help me with something."
"Uhhh what?"
"So I'm trying to figure out…you think my sister is hot don't you?"
Eighteen crossed her arms, raising one perfect brow at the former monk, making his palm sweat with uneasiness. What the hell…I don't know how to respond to that…screw it Krillin! You might be a small man, but nevertheless you're still a man! He mentally encouraged himself.
"N-no…she's beautiful…"
Eighteen blushed before walking over and kissing him right on the lips.
But it was not meant to be, because he instead said, "She's pretty and has shiny green eyes." Krillin slapped his forehead in embarrassment.
However, instead of getting laughed at cruelly by the brown haired beauty, he got a tiny smirk.
Then Seventeen, the douche that he was, continued. "You don't say...well doesn't that also mean that you think I'm 'pretty' and 'have shiny green eyes'? Remember we are twins, so if she has a nice ass, then so do I!"
Krillin almost tipped over the edge when the blond Android started to thrust his behind at the former monk. "You don't want none of this!"
Eighteen erupted in laughter, pressing her hands against her ribs as they were hurting from her fits of giggles.
"Wow…just wow…you guys are crazy…"
"Well that's what the twins are all about brah! My sis and I be-"
Then all the humor was sucked out of the air when Cell came into view.
A/N: That cliff hanger though =D
You knew Gohan was going to find out at some point. You can be sure that things will be very bumpy for Goku and Gohan while they are in the Time Chamber. As for my most favorite and easiest part to write, it had to be the playful blunder between the twins. I felt like Eighteen and Seventeen never really acted like siblings in the anime and that if Seventeen was around much longer, he would be the playful type. Eighteen, as I said before, is more perky than the original. She, when she's in the mood, can be just as silly as her brother. I know it's ridiculous given their current situation, but this is how they cope. If they let fear consume them, then they might as well let Cell absorb them.
Thanks for the wonderful 6 reviews, which totally added power to my Spirit Bomb that I will use to defeat Super Ultra Mega Writers Blocker! So please, share your energy with me...by writing on the big white box below...come onnnn..you know you want to =D
Next chapter is the fight between the ever cocky Prince and Cell.
