A/N: Hi =) Please read and Enjoy! Take that writers block!
Sighing, Goku rose to his feet, his blond hair and body drenched with sweat as he had been mediating for more than three hours. His chosen spot probably wasn't the best, the temperature being extremely hot; good thing he had removed his shirt beforehand. The Earth raised Saiyan looked to the far right, feeling dejected when his mind wondered to his son, whom he hasn't seen for well over three weeks, almost a month. During that time, he had been training with just one arm, which proved to be quite beneficial in the long run because he was able developed a new fighting style, in which he makes use of only his left arm and both legs. Now that his right arm is completely healed, he could feel the major difference between them. Along with learning a new style of fighting, he also was able to master his Super Saiyan form. He mostly remained transformed unless he entered into a deep state of sleep. He found out that napping for at least an hour gave him enough energy to train for a long period of time, usually around three to four hours.
Everything had gone exactly how his son wanted. Every time he left the, what the older Saiyan liked to call it, "safe zone", he would sense his son's power make a sudden spike, forcing the older Saiyan to stop with whatever he was doing and head off to the left of the Time Chamber, proceeding to lose himself in a rigorous training session and vice versa. Gohan hadn't thought of raising his power level as a warning until after the first week, settling with just sensing each other's ki signatures when one of them was approaching the Chamber entrance. Goku couldn't count the number of times that he attempted to go to his son, only to feel his son's power skyrocket threateningly, causing the full Saiyan to swear as he was pretty much obligated to return to his side of the Chamber. It was during those moments that Goku knew that his son was definitely far more powerful than him. Gohan and I could simply train by ourselves for the entire duration in this place, but we will never get as strong as we would if we sparred together.
A sudden surge of rage erupted from Goku, his level of power almost reaching his maximum. "DAMN IT GOHAN! STOP BEING SO STUBBORN! IF NOT FOR ME THEN DO IT FOR THE PLANET!"
"Okay, I'm ready."
Goku whirled around, his eyes widening when he saw the small form of his son, staring at him firmly. He didn't look much different, other than his blond hair being lighter, which indicated that he too has mastered his Super Saiyan state. He took note of his long hair, which he had tucked into a loose ponytail, the length of it having increased since the last time he saw him.
"Hey...your hair has grown huh."
"It has."
Goku sucked in a breath, releasing it after five seconds in order to relax his body, his power dropping down, but not enough for him to revert to his base form.
Gohan took a fighting stance.
"You want to start now?"
Gohan's ki rose, his yellow aura coming to life. "Why not? Isn't that why we are here for?"
Goku's expression turned stern, his aura also igniting. "Okay then, let's get to-"
A loud growling sound ripped through the vast whiteness, both Goku and his son looking from front to back and left to right, trying to locate the invisible enemy.
"Whoa...what was that? Surely we are the only ones in here or else Mr. Popo would have told us." The older Saiyan said, his whole form filled with apprehension.
Then another one teared through the Chamber, and this one sounded much louder than the last, making both the Saiyans come to the conclusion that the one heard now must be the leader.
Gohan released his aura.
Goku stared at his son in bafflement when his lips cracked into a tiny smile. Upon seeing his father's look of confusion, Gohan chuckled, though it seemed that he was holding back for whatever reason.
"Gohan! What are you doing?! We don't know what we're up against-"
And Gohan lost it when he saw his father jump upon hearing the lower growl again, the half Saiyan bursting into laughter. Then finally realization hit him, his clueless eyes lowering to his stomach in shock. When he returned his line of sight to his son, he smile, the first true smile in what seemed like forever.
As Goku joined his son in laughter, he couldn't help but feel like there was light pass the long dark tunnel.
Virus T-Ex-C
The onlookers, excluding Trunks, couldn't believe how strong Vegeta has gotten, more so the Androids, both of them not knowing about the magic of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber; the siblings knew that looks can be deceiving but given how the bald man was staring at the Prince, It's safe to say that his level of power is beyond comprehension.
As if to confirm it, the Androids couldn't even recall seeing the Prince's balled up fist slam into the awe filled Bio-Android, Cell's jaded orbs expanding, purple blood seeping from his lips; Vegeta couldn't have held back a smirk if he tried...which he didn't. When another fist came flying at him, this one nearly taking of his head, Cell briefly wondered if this was how his counterpart felt when he buried his own fist into his stomach. He knew the battle had just begun, but as he swayed this way and that, receiving more hits then he would've liked, it was clear as day that if he didn't somehow get his hands on one of those Androids, he's as good as done.
Cell gasped when the Saiyan Prince gripped both his arms before pressing his boots against his chest, the Bio-Android giving an ear piercing scream when Vegeta tugged at his arms harshly. Everyone's eyes nearly fell out as the grinning Vegeta pushed so hard against his chest, that the ivory Android's arms popped out of their socket, the monster snapping his mouth shut, his teeth sinking into his lips in order to prevent any more screams. With one last jerk, both of Cell's appendages were ripped from his shoulders, the purple blood showering through the air making the Prince smile with satisfaction. Cell staggered back, managing to catch himself from falling, his blood still gushing out profusely.
"Holy-"
"Shit..." Eighteen finished for her brother, hands flying to her mouth as an attempt to prevent herself from vomiting.
Krillin and Trunks just looked on, silently hoping that Vegeta would finish off Cell before things take a turn for the worse. It was obvious that the Saiyan could kill him, but Vegeta seemed to think that torturing his foe was a much better choice.
Struggling to remain on his feet, Cell grunted loudly, the holes where his arms used to be beginning to bubble rapidly. With one last yell, his shoulders exploded, two new pair of arms now in place of the once empty sockets.
"Just how did you get so strong? It's impossible to gain such strength in such a short amount of time!"
"Oh you know, by exercising and drinking plenty of protein shakes." Vegeta smirked. "You know what I recommend?"
Cell began to tremble with anger, the Prince's taunting grin making his blood boil hotter with each passing second.
"I recommend the chocolate protein shake, but I must warn you it's an acquired taste, seeing as how my son found it to be disgusting. He preferred strawberry instead."
Trunks slapped his forehead with embarrassment when the Androids gave him a look, silently asking him if what his father had said was true while the former monk thought back on Bra's description of the 'Vegeta Cycle'. Vegeta reaches a new level of power, Vegeta then gets overconfident…Bra's voice echoed through his ears.
Unbeknownst to Krillin, Trunks was thinking along the same lines and strangely enough the Androids, who of course weren't there during Bra's explanation. Then Seventeen did what he does best; talk bullshit.
"So Trunks... How can you not like chocolate? Like, everyone likes chocolate!"
Though Eighteen wanted to join in to reduce her anxiety due to Cell's presence, she, being the more sensible of the two, kicked her brother in the shin, causing him to yelp and hop on one foot as unintelligible curses spewed from his lips.
"Do you want him to kill us? He has already made it clear that he hates us for whatever we did to him!" The brunette scolded him, carefully eying the half Saiyan, who seemed to either have not heard Seventeen (highly unlikely) or just decided to ignore him (most likely).
"It was an innocent question! It's not like I asked him if his family or friends were slaughtered-"
Eighteen nearly shrieked when she witnessed her brother fly pass her, the half Saiyan gripping the Android by the throat while he was pressed him against a rock hard wall.
"Stop talking!" Trunks spat, the blond man struggling to break free from the angry Saiyan's grip. "Can't you ever take anything serious?!" He then released the Android, Seventeen stroking his throat while sucking air back into his lungs.
"By the way, where I came from, they were slaughtered along with more than half of Earth's population. And guess who did it?" Eighteen and Seventeen's stared at the young man in horror, realization settling in, more so for Seventeen since he was the one who had spoken thoughtlessly.
Trunks's slightly grim look only made them feel worse. "And as we speak..." He didn't say anymore, not knowing why he said anything in the first place; he instead returned to watch the fight at hand, Krillin wisely choosing to remain silent.
Feeling like a jackass, Seventeen slouched to the ground, now having a lot on his mind while Eighteen resumed observing the battered Bio-Android, who had been sent hurling down into the ocean by the Saiyan Prince, causing salt water to sprinkle all over the orphan island.
Cell erupted from within the sea, Vegeta grinning mockingly. "Seems like you weren't as strong as you thought you were huh?"
Cell responded with a heavy fist aimed at Vegeta face, the Saiyan Prince swaying to the side before thrusting his own fist onto the Bio-Android's spine, making his back arc painfully. The full Saiyan then delivered another hard blow to his back, this time with his knees, making him fly downwards. But instead of letting him hit the ground, the Prince grappled his ivory thick tail, turned around and chucked him over his shoulders, the Bio-Android flailing through the sky desperately trying to stop his momentum. Vegeta intercepted the ivory monster from above, doing a double drop kick which sent him downwards at an incredible rate, his large body bouncing several times before coming to a halt with his face once again in the mud. Standing on his hands and feet sluggishly, his face covered in dirt, Cell yelled loudly at the unfairness of it all, his soiled fists slamming hard against the ground. Overall, the 'big bad monster' now looked like a toddle did when his favorite toy was taken away.
"Damn it! DAMMNN IITTT! WHHHYYYY!" Cell bellowed childishly as he stood up, his boot-like feet making craters when he stomped down violently.
Vegeta just laughed.
Oh man…here is stage three… Vegeta taunts 'Cell'…which means the next step is… Krillin gulped, already dreading when the inevitable happens.
As the Saiyan Prince continue to mock him, laughing with superiority, Cell pushed off the ground, shattering it completed while yelled at the top of his lungs, his hands outstretched, obviously intending on grabbing him. Vegeta just laughed as he evaded him, laughed as he slammed his fist into his chest, laughed as he kicked him in the stomach and laughed, laughed and laughed endlessly; and Cell, the 'poor' Android just kept on attacking him in hopes that each time he hurled his fist, it would finally land a hit on the Saiyan Prince.
Cell cried out with joy when he actually nailed the arrogant Saiyan on the chin, making his head snap upwards harshly. His tiny celebration was cut short when he heard him laugh again, Vegeta's head straightening as blood began to leak from his lips; the Saiyan smirked, using his thumb to smear off the red substance that was trickling down his chin.
"That one was free..."
Cell was livid, refusing to believe just how outclassed he was.
That's when the perfect idea came to mind, making the Bio-Android grin evilly inwardly.
"Say Vegeta…aren't you bored?"
The Saiyan frowned, finding it strange that he would ask such a question; he answered anyways. "Unfortunately, yes. I trained rigorously for nothing it seems. Here I came for a challenge and all I get is a pathetic whelp, whining because of how weak he is."
Cell ignored his insult, since as much as he hated to admit it, he had been whining.
"What if I told you that I could give you the greatest battle you will ever have if you allow me to reach my Perfect form?"
Vegeta's blood suddenly boiled with excitement, the thirst for a challenging fight starting to cloud his judgment. Trunks and Krillin saw this immediately, the twin Androids stepping back as if they would bolt at any given moment.
"Don't listen to him father!"
Oh boy…stage four…the transformation… Krillin thought, his teeth grinding nervously.
"Oh really?"
Cell nodded vigorously as he pointed at the siblings below, who glared at the ivory Bio-Android loathingly. "I have already absorbed Android 16, so all I need is either Android 17 or 18 and I'll be able to give you the battle of your dreams."
Vegeta then dropped his aura, making Trunks, Krillin, Seventeen and Eighteen's blood turn cold with shock. The Prince was the only one that could take on Cell and actually defeat him, so if he stepped down, there was basically no one that could stop the monster from reaching his Perfect form.
"So what do you say Prince Vegeta?" He coaxed, his voice slithering into Vegeta's ears like a nasty parasite.
Vegeta nodded. "Fine…I will let you attain this Perfect form of yours-"
"We are so-"
"Fucked!" Eighteen cried out, her skin paling with alarm.
"Damn it Vegeta, don't do this!" Krillin hollered.
"Father, please reconsider your decision! Think about it, his power was beyond a Super Saiyan while he was in his first form. With just absorbing one Android, he has surpassed everyone except you! If you let him absorb another Android, his power will exceed that of a Super Saiyan 2's!"
"Quiet boy, the Prince has made his choice, so do me a favor and step aside!"
Just as Cell took a step forward, grinning gleefully at the Androids, a pair of royal white boots rocketed into the beast's back, causing him to spiral uncontrollably into wall of solid rock, utterly obliterating it to millions of pieces. The onlookers' eyes' enlarged, not understanding why Vegeta did what he did.
"You didn't let me finish fool!" Vegeta hollered as the Bio-Android rose to his feet, the confidence that he had moments ago all but gone.
"As I was saying, I will let you become Perfect… if you can get pass my son."
"What?! But you said- wait what?"
Vegeta rolled his eyes. "You heard me, battle my son and if you are able to defeat him, then you can go get your Android."
Cell smiled evilly while the others' jaws' hung open speechlessly, absolutely astonished that the Prince would send his own son to his death. However as Trunks gawked at his father, he noticed something odd. His turquoise eyes shone with…pride…and faith?
As if reading his mind, the Prince gave him a tiny smirk.

"Okay Yamcha, if you're going to come along with me, I want you where I can see you." Bra said, her voice somewhat muffled do to the howling wind which whipped against her face, the half Saiyan slowing her flight speed until she was beside the scarred face man.
Her backside itched.
"Uhh why? The view is- I mean I was only behind because you're the one who knows where Dr. Gero's base is." Yamcha said, trying to seem oblivious; Bra easily saw right through it though.
"So you weren't looking at my pink cotton panties?"
Yamcha's face turned beat red as perverted thoughts consumed his mind "It looked more like a white thong to me-Oops..."
Bra raised a twitching eyebrow, making the former bandit fear for his life. "You know-" she leaned forward, clobbering the man upside the head, making him wince as she had hit him harder than necessary, in his opinion.
Yamcha flinched, expecting the Saiyan Princess to attack him again or say more on the subject matter but she averted her gaze instead, facing ahead.
Her backside itched again, making her scratch at it with irritation. She thought it had been itching because the former bandit was staring under her skirt, however now that he was clearly in front of her, that wasn't the case.
Yamcha kept shooting glances every now and then, which only further added to her rapidly rising temper. After several seconds of his eyeballing, Bra growled.
"Why the hell are you looking at me so much?!" She snapped.
Yamcha flapped his hands comically. "It's just...uhh your butt…"
"Yeah, I know I have a great ass but can you stop staring at it!? After all, you'll never get to-"
"No! It's not that! It's just…why are you scratching it so much?"
"I'm not scratching my butt! It's my tail bone! It's driving me bonkers!"
Yamcha smiled. "You want my suggestion?"
Bra really didn't want to hear whatever crap he had to say, the likely hood of it being helpful slim to none; yet she urged him to continue.
"Your uhh tail..."
Bra tilted her head sideways in confusion before her apparently slow ass brain caught up. "Oh shit!"
Her tail bone itch worsen upon her realization, causing her to stop her flight and hastily latch her hand to where her poor tail was located, desperately trying to make a tear on her skirt in order to give her stupid appendage the freedom that it wanted.
"Want help?"
"Hell no!" she exclaimed as a concentrated laser ki beam developed on the tip of her index finger, instantly sawing through the backside of her skirt, then panties, successfully giving her aqua furred tail breathing room.
Bra sighed with relief when her tail made its escape, wiggling happily, causing Yamcha to chuckle with amusement.
"Did you forget you have a tail?"
"Sort of, I mean I've only had it ever since Goku and I-" The half Saiyan squeaked, her hands flying to her lips as her face exploded into quiet a lovely shade of pink.
Yamcha's mouth dropped. "Wow...so it wasn't just a make out session huh?"
Bra turning away pretty much answered his question.
"Oh geez...well...was it just onc-"
"I don't want to talk about it!" Bra blurted out, her skin so flushed that she felt like it was burning and right then and there, she wanted nothing more than to strip and just jump into the ocean below, but wasn't willing to give the former bandit a show.
Surprisingly, Yamcha didn't push for more answers and for that, the Saiyan Princess was grateful for. Shortly after, both of them were back on track on their mission to further investigate the mad doctor's lab. They kept to themselves for about half of the way there, Yamcha being the one to break the somewhat comforting silence.
"So I got a question..." Bra nodded. "In your timeline... What becomes of me?"
Bra hesitated to answer him, the years of stubbornly refusing to reply to questions that had to do with her past having been programmed into her mind. Making things worse than they already were was a fear like no other for the half Saiyan, more so now because of how fond she has grown to this reality. Of course she would love to get her old life back, but that doesn't mean that giving up the one she has now would be easy. As horrible as it sounded, she didn't want to never be able to feel his hands and body pressed against her, making her-
"-you okay? Bra?"
Her ally's voice shattered the wild fantasy that her mind was conjuring. Bra coughed as she tried to forcefully suppress the redness that was slowly traveling up her neck like lava rising from a volcano. Yamcha cocked his head to the side, trying to figure out what had the daughter of Bulma so worked up now; then his expression warped into one of shock.
"Whoa! Don't tell me you and me...ya know...?"
Bra almost fell. "Oh Kami no, ewww! Never-never-NEVER!" She babbled with disgust, her skin turning nearly as white as snow. The former bandit's head hung at her apparent dislike of him.
Bra noticed this, guilt flooding her as she had not meant to respond like that...well at least not announce it in the manner she did.
Once she recollected herself, she spoke. "Sorry it's just that...you never even saw me that way in my reality. You viewed me as nothing more than a bratty teenager, so you and I were never close in anyway. But to answer your first question, you were kinda a mess in my timeline...you sure you want me to tell you this, even though it might prevent certain events from happening? I mean I know that chances are it isn't going to happen like it did in my timeline, but still..."
Yamcha nodded without hesitation, knowing that if he hadn't, he would've backed down.
Bra sighed. "Okay...but don't say I didn't warn you. Well in my timeline, you were, ya know, you until a power villain by the name of…uhh janem-janember-uhh no! Janemba! That's right! Came from hell, literally, and killed someone you loved dearly. After he had been defeated, you gave up on everything from what the others told me. You see during that event, you actually, believe it or not, were not only married to-" She paused, deciding that it was better to not name the person he was involved with, just to ease her worries of the damage this information could do to him; so she made up a name.
"-this girl named Sally, but also had a baby soon to be born..."
Bra let that sink in, the scarred face man's eyes shining with awe. "Well you see during the fight with…whatever the hell that creature was, an energy attack that was meant for you was launched -err- I mean thrown at your wife and-and you tried you know. But..."
Yamcha was shell shocked at what he was being told, never having thought that he'd marry any girl. Well there was Bulma...
"But didn't you guys have Dragon Balls?" He asked.
Bra looked at him grimly. "We did... And she was revived...however when she was, Sally had a miscarriage for some reason and well you were never the same again. Nobody knew why, but you just up and left one day and Gohan was the one who found you... in an alleyway... not just drunk but doped up on some shit... Kami they didn't know what the hell you took but whatever it was, killed you!" she didn't look at him when she paused.
"The Dragon Balls couldn't wish you back because that drug you took accelerated your heartrate so much, that it just failed. The Eternal Dragon apparently saw that as a death of natural causes…so yeah."
Yamcha didn't say anything for a while, which made the Saiyan Princess very uneasy. As she played with the ends of her long hair in a nervous fashion, the orange clad man finally talked.
"And what happened to Sally?" he asked, his voice so low that she barely heard it.
"Well she… coped in her own way, though her moods were all over the place. There was one side of her that acted like she didn't care at all, while the other side was blue, so gloomy and timid that it was so unbecoming of her, seeing as how we were used to her perky personality. After a few years' time, she decided to leave, saying that she wanted to explore the world. You know, the kind of shit people say when they go through a traumatic experience."
"We did see her from time to time and I gotta tell ya, she became a kick ass fighter! If I didn't know any better, I'd think she was a Saiyan." She added, hoping that it would reduce some of the thick tension in the air.
Yamcha gave a small smile, glad that despite his tragic end, his wife had lived up to be something. "Thanks for telling me Bra."
Bra grinned. "No thank you. You don't know how good it feels to tell you guys something instead of hiding everything. And you know what? I'm glad I did because now you have a chance to change your future. I might have never been close to you Yamcha, but that doesn't mean that I didn't care about you in some way."
Yamcha looked down bashfully, as he wasn't used to hearing others tell him they care about him. Of course he knew that they cared or else he would have never gotten wished back when he died during the fight with the Saiyans. "Does that mean we're finally friends?"
Bra was stunned at first, but then understood what he was trying to say. "Yeah I guess we are." She smiled.
"Hey! I see the base!" the half Saiyan shouted, her aqua orbs eying the wrecked pile of rubble that was once Dr. Gero's laboratory.
Upon landing where the large Iron gate had been, the pair made their way inside the roofless lab, the grey debris beneath them crunching with every step they took. Yamcha's brows rose as he took in the scenery, his eyes spotting pieces of maroon colored wood scattered all over the place. He picked one of them up to examine it, feeling the soft cushioning material underneath the painted wooden top; not too far was a rolled up blue map. He could read the title, which said 'Android 17 Blueprints', however the rest was unreadable since it was severely burned. Damn! Bulma could've used this to maybe create some kind of switch to deactivate the Androids. He had been in such a deep state of concentration that the half Saiyan's voice startled him into nearly snapping his head to the side.
"Those were parts of the coffins that the Androids had been contained in." She said, nodding to the only piece that had the number 18 printed on it. She saw the ruined blueprint in the former bandit's hand and immediately felt like shit because if she hadn't been so brash, the map would not be illegible.
Yamcha didn't say anything as he dropped the useless object and blueprint to the floor, proceeding to continue his search for any clues of the hidden bunker within the lab.
From the far right corner, a feminine grunt followed by sounds of crumbling concrete rang inside his ears, making him rush towards the Saiyan Princess. When he arrived to his destination, he saw Bra's eyes curve animatedly, the grin splitting her lips akin to that of a certain Earth raised Saiyan's.
"Found something?"
"Sure did!" Bra replied as she hunkered down and clamped onto a metal handle on the ground. With a simple jerk of her hand, the hatch door was no more as it went flying out of the lab, revealing the hidden entrance they had been searching for. "Ta-da!"
Her playful expression disappeared as she hopped down the entrance, choosing not to make use of the slightly rusted ladder, Yamcha tailing her. Other than the light that shone from the entrance, it was pitch dark, so Bra lit up a small yellow orb within her palm, which served as a makeshift flashlight to help illuminate the room until they were able to find a light switch. Luckily, it ended up being as simple as stepping onto the center of the room, the small lab seeming to have sensors that indicated when someone was inside; with a flick of her wrist, the ki ball was no more, Bra's eyes now observing her surroundings.
There really wasn't much to see, the most noticeable things being a small kitchen, bathroom, fridge and a rolling chair which was pushed into a work desk. The desk itself was littered with hundreds of documented papers, written with messy handwriting. As Yamcha began looking around for anything that could be of use, Bra read over the documents, hoping to find some information on Cell or hell even the Androids. She knew that the Androids were no longer a threat as her father and brother could easily handle them at this point. She didn't know how strong her father has gotten, but given that Trunks has mastered his Super Saiyan form, the Prince must have mastered his as well, or perhaps ascended to the next level. Either way, she would find out soon enough as the fight between Cell and her father was inevitable.
When she went to sit on the chair, her eyes caught sight of a black laptop, which she hadn't noticed before because of it being shadowed by the underside of the desk. She reached down and picked it up, then placed it on the desk's surface and lifted the lid. Bra swore when the portable computer didn't turn on, figuring that the large diagonal crack on the screen had rendered the damned thing inoperable. It must have fallen off the desk when I destroyed the first level of the lab.
Instead of losing her cool and demolishing the computer, she held onto it, hoping that her mother could somehow fix it. Just as she removed herself from the chair, she saw a post-it sticky note on the edge of the desk. Huh?
She plucked it off and upon taking a closer look, she was able to read the word 'new' along with the numbers '84677329'. Hmm, I wonder what this is for-
A soft hissing sound, followed by a cry of 'bingo' got her attention. "Hey Bra! Over here, I think I found something!"
Not a moment later was the half Saiyan beside him, studying what looked like some sort of console numbered key pad. "What do you think it could lead to?"
Bra smirked when she keyed in the numbers she read on the sticky note. A soft humming noise echoed through the lab before an audible 'click' was heard.
"Whoa…did you hear that? And by the way, how did you know the code for that thing?"
Bra answered by sticking the post-it on his forehead, causing the man to pout childishly as she went to where she picked up the clicking sound. It wasn't surprising when she found that the noise was coming from behind the desk. Shoving the small desk aside with ease, her hands then slid against the wall, feeling for a crack or anything she could grab onto. Her eyes lit up when her hand wedged into a long vertical indentation in the wall, proceeding to then gently tug to the right until it gave in; after several attempts it finally did…only because the half Saiyan had put more strength into it than she should have, probably damaging it beyond repair.
"Damn Bra, you break everything you touch."
Said Saiyan rubbed the back of her head sheepishly. "Sorry…I just have a short fuse."
"No kidding."
Shaking his head, he walked in the hidden passage with Bra right behind him.
And there it was, in a large glass test tube submerged in a watery green substance. Beside it, was a set of long and tangled complex wires, which was connected to what looked like a super computer. The thing was massive and grey with long thin metal appendages. The top of the computer was circular, almost brain-like and also see through, so one could view the components inside.
Bra just about blasted the little bastard in the tube as she recalled how his counterpart killed Tien, ultimately absorbing his essence to add insult to injury.
"Seems like the doctor must have been in a rush or something because he forgot to shut this safe back up." Yamcha said, eyeing the two items inside, which consisted of a sheet of paper and a small capped clear vial, the purple matter inside swirled in an unusual fashion.
"Let me see." Yamcha moved to the side, letting Bra to take a look. "The hell is this?" She plucked the yellow paper and read it out loud.
"It says, 'this vial is filled with a number of compounds I gathered over the years since I started project Cell. It is highly toxic and should not be inhaled or touched, unless is it contained and tightly sealed in an extremely durable glass. The glass here is one of a kind, so the chemical should not be poured into any other type of glass as the substance is so potent that it will instantly melt right through it. This was strictly created as a failsafe, in case Cell was to ever become disobedient and turn against me. Though I do not know if it would work once he has evolved pass his first form, it might possible still do some damage. I will continue to do more research and find an alternate way as to ensure my safety against this creature. I do not want a repeat of the Androids, which I am debating whether to activate them again after a few adjustments to the chips installed within their brains'. Below is a list of the collected ingredients used to make Virus T-Ex-C (Virus to Exterminate Cell). Also listed is the explanation is how to make the special glass and needle to inject the virus into Cell, as a regular needle will not be able to penetrate his skin.'"
"Holy shit! I think we just hit the jackpot!" Yamcha exclaimed with joy.
Bra smiled as she rolled up the only useful paper in the entire lab, slipping it inside her jacket's front pocket. As she made a grab for the bottle, Yamcha slapped her hand aside.
"Don't touch it!"
"But the note said that it was safe to touch as long as it's in the bottle."
"Yeah, then why is there gloves next to the volt?" He responded, gesturing to said gloves.
"Oh…"
Yamcha rolled his eyes, slipped on the latex-free gloves and grabbed the vial. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a capsule, tapping it against the bottle until it went POOF.
"You make a habit of keeping capsules in your pocket?"
"Hey, it comes in handy!" He replied, tossing the white capsule to the half-Saiyan, who caught it expertly, pocketing it.
That's when her father's ki went over the roof, making Bra smirk.
"Man, is that Vegeta's power! It's incredible! That's the ki of a Super Saiyan 2 isn't it?"
Bra nodded. "Let's get out of here but first let me blast this little bastard to make sure it doesn't survive the lab explosion."
Bra hurled a medium sized ki ball at the tiny creature in the test tube, successfully eradicating it. Moments later, the Saiyan Princess and former bandit were flying at top speed back to the Lookout, the explosion in the background fading as they drifted further and further from the lab site.
A/N: So you're all probably like, what's up with that huge section with Yamcha and Bra? You know, the part that was completely filler and could have definitely been taken out. I don't know, I felt like Yamcha should have a bigger roll in this story. Everyone just makes him the loser in their fanfics, thanks to TeamFourStar (I love their work though XD). So he might not change much until the end of this saga and sometime before the last arc, the Buu saga. And yes I'm guilty in making fun of him here plenty of times. There was actually a part, in the previous chapter that had Bra insult poor Yamcha's intelligence but I took it out. I'll be making him a much more serious character though...I just can't control Bra...she writes her own self, I swear! No lie!
And I hope I made it obvious who it was that Yamcha was involved with. I know everyone will disapprove of the pairing since it doesn't make sense...(I do, because I just thought about it out of the blue lol...why am I rhyming so much? ), but don't worry, just like chapter 14, it doesn't matter. We won't ever go to that timeline of course, that part of Bra's life is long gone. I have another special crack pairing in mind for Yamcha =P
I apologize if any of you were disappointed that the fight with Vegeta and Cell was pretty short. My problem is that I'm not a Vegeta fan, which is why some of my fights are better when its with other characters.
And to the guest review about Gohan being OP...that's not a huge problem given how overpowered Cell is here...and Vegeta. Everything is different because it's a different timeline. If I didn't do this, then everyone would be dead by the end of this...not that there won't be more deaths btw =) Dragon Ball Super...is NOT Dragon Ball Z. I'm not following any of that since this story was started before that even existed. Besides, Akira Toriyama likes to change a lot of shit. In my opinion, this whole God ki thing is a little extreme but whatever. By the way, where is Bra lol! And what's up with that Videl turning blonde? I know she didn't turn Super Saiyan but still, I think the movie did that scene much better and it didn't last 20 minutes.
Anyways next up, Trunks vs. Cell and then we're going to take another visit to the Time Chamber and see how Gohan and Goku are coping. Will they get along? From what was seen in this chapter, it sure seems like it right? or was this just the calm before the storm?
Later dudes! =)
