Prologue
It had been a mistake…
Her eyes shook, whitening when something collided with her back, the bulldozing force making her arc forward, the throbbing pain traveling up and down her spine making her bite back a cry.
I wasn't supposed to be here…
Whipping around, her aqua hair obscured her vision, preventing her from seeing the small foot that connected with her face. Her head bounced back, her nose leaking a trail of blood that sprinkled into the air.
I was supposed to be gone...just like all of the others…
A second foot came at her, but she was prepared this time, easily catching it and throwing it aside. His child-like red eyes widened when he felt a blow against his neck, causing it to elongate like a rubber band. His look of surprise vanished within a blink of an eye, his expression changing into one of derangement, the same one that she was all too familiar with; after all, no matter what incarnation this demon took, even while somewhat sane, he at one point wore it.
But I had survived, escaped and…and it just wasn't fair...
Not wanting him to completely regain his composure, she twisted her body, giving him a second spin kick this time connecting with the back of his skull, making an indentation. With lightning reflex, she captured him by his short antenna-like appendage before he fell. Swinging him around several times, she released him, her eyes narrowing as she charged a yellow ball of ki within her palm. Throwing her hand back, she hurled the orb at the demon's rocketing form.
I should have died with everyone there because well, this-I don't belong here…
The pink demon didn't even bat an eye when the blast eradicated his body from the waist down. He giggled when he regenerated whole again, but his moment of glee was cut short when a golden blur brutally crashed into him. He used a Kiai to halt his descent, pivoted around and fired multiple pink balls of ki, which she had no problem swatting away by swiping her hands left to right.
But-but that was a long time ago…years ago…
Watching her slapping his attacks aside, he had one of his occasional tantrums. Charging a larger ball of energy, he let it loose, which again she slapped away, however this time, the pink demon's grinning face followed right after it.
Now…I have made this place my home…I have a family here, a new one….one that I am not willing to lose.
Without hesitation, she raised her arms up, the pink demon screaming with sudden rage when his foe matched him with each blow he gave. She gave a mighty scream, releasing her own rage, a whirling current of lightning surrounded her, blasting the childish demon from her person.
If you were to ask me if I was just as scared as I was all those years ago, when my reality went down to shit…
I'd say hell yeah…
Clumsily landing on his two feet, he turned to come face to face with an earthshaking foot to his face, disfiguring it. Staggering back, his facial features popped back to normal as his enemy attempted to blast him into pieces. She swore when the little demon leaped high into the air, raised his hand and grinned madly, an enormous energy ball materializing within his palm faster than any enemy she has faced.
Yet…for some reason…even with the knowledge that my failure to defeat this demon would spell the end of the universe…
Cupping her hands together, she slammed them to the side of her hip, a glowing ball of glittering bluish-green energy coming to life within them.
I can't help but feel excited…
As the pink demon laughed, the half Saiyan couldn't hold back the tiny smirk that lifted her lips.
Heh, maybe I have a certain Saiyan to blame for that…
Shimmering turquoise eyes met blood ruby ones as their attacks lit up the sky, the pink demon's laughter fading as the humming sounds of their energy blasts became louder and louder.
My name is Bra Briefs…
Her golden aura was suddenly replaced with a deep navy blue, bright orange soon encasing it as her flaming yellow hair shifted to a bright blue hue.
And this is it… my final battle…
"Final Shineeee Kemehameeeee!"
And unlike before, I won't be running.
"HAAAAAAA!"
A/N: As I said above, this so-called "chapter" was not planned. It was more of an intro of what will probably be part of a battle at some point.
Next chapter will actually be a ya know, real chapter.
