Chapter 7: The Sparks of Rage - Thunder End Dragon

After my duel with Sora-kun ended with me winning. I was relieved that we could finally become friends. Although, I can't help but wonder, are there other people like Akemi who looks just like me?
Maiami City_Normal Pov_
A girl wearing a hooded cloak was walking around the city as she wondered if her friends made it to this dimension safe and where her friends could be. The girl sighed while walking around until she realized her birthmark was glowing white. She thought about the potential reasons why her birthmark could be glowing until she remembered the girl from last night.
She considered her options and the dangers of each one. Soon enough, she made her decision and decided to follow where her birthmark was leading her.
At You Show Duel School_Naomi Pov_
After I finally decided to tell everyone, I could Pendulum Summon, which caused some expected and unexpected reactions. We continued our daily routine, from learning the summoning mechanics to building our stamina. After our stamina training, it was decided by my mom that I must go get everyone some water bottles as punishment for not telling them I could Pendulum Summon.
I knew it couldn't be helped, but why do I have to carry a huge pack of water all by myself? While on the other hand, Yuzu-chan and Ayu-chan had to go get ice cream.
"Geez, Okaa-san, you are so mean," I mumbled, trying not to drop the load.
During my rant, I heard a strange sound come from the alleyway as it was revealed to be a boy who looked around my age.
I saw a glimpse of his hair, black in the back and light purple in the front, that was swept upward as it was to the right side of his head. He wore goggles and a mask that hid his face, but even though his face was hidden, I was entranced by his appearance. I unconsciously stepped toward the boy and tried to reach out to him until he backed away from the wall and looked at me fiercely.
"I'm sorry! I just saw you leaning against the wall. It looked like you were in pain, so I wanted to check if you were okay" I apologized for my actions that could be seen as creepy from his standpoint.
"Yuki," the boy muttered as the fierce glare he gave me before softened. Now he had a gentle look behind his goggles.
"S-Sorry, I think you have the wrong person. My name is Naomi Kobiyashi," I said as the stranger kept looking at me before turning away.
"Sorry, I thought you were someone else," the stranger apologized before taking off as it caught me by surprise.
"Eh? Wait a minute! "I called out, chasing after the person as he suddenly got faster. I kept running after him despite holding a large object in my hands.
"I could help you find the person you're looking for!" I shouted. His movements got even quicker as he kept making turns throughout the alleyways as I tried to catch up with him.
"I could help you find Yuki!" I yelled the person's name he was trying to find, but that didn't stop him at all. Instead, it made him jump on the nearest objects near him as. I lost sight of him after he did that.
"Geez, I really was going to help him find this Yuki person he's looking for, but he took off before I could ask anything else," I said, sighing as I soon realized that my hands were now sore from carrying the huge pack of water bottles when I was chasing after the mysterious boy.
I stopped sighing when I realized my birthmark was glowing this entire time. I decided to follow the glow wherever it was leading me.
Where Yuzu is_Maiami' s Pier_Warehouse_
With her glowing white birthmark, the same girl from before adjusted the hood on her cloak. She looked at the scenery around her and saw Yuzu entering the Warehouse from a distance. "Is that Ruri-chan? No, this girl just has the same face as her," the girl thought, "it seems I'm not the only one who has a doppelganger, but Ruri-chan has one too. However, who was that girl from last night? I can tell she's my counterpart from this dimension, but she could secretly be a spy from Academia. If she is, then I need to keep my guard around her," the girl thought as she heard a commotion from the Warehouse. She decided to involve herself in whatever mess that was dealing inside that Warehouse, whether she wanted to or not.
The girl walked through the entrance after kicking Kakimoto away and stepped into the room "step back," the girl said, pushing Yuzu away from the duel.
"Hey, what's with you?" Yuzu said as the girl decided to ignore her as she activated her purple body duel disk.
"It seems we have a heroine that wanted to stick her nose in other people's business," Shingo commented as the girl rolled her eyes, knowing that this will be a quick duel that she'll finish in no time.
"The silent type, huh. I have to hurt people who stick their noses where they don't belong. Fine! I'll crush you," Shingo declared, activating his duel disk.
"I don't know who you are, but you're butting in. This is my duel," Yuzu said before the girl put her hand on Yuzu's shoulder.
"Please trust me and leave this duel to me," the girl said as Yuzu looked at her in surprise.
"DUEL!"

Turn 1

"I'll take the first turn to show you my dueling!" Shingo declared, looking at his hand.
"I activate the Quick-Play Spell 'True Monarch Realm' with this card's effect. I can Special Summon a monster whose ATK is 1000 or less. I Special Summon Escher the Frost Vassal from my hand."
Water/Level 4/Aqua/Effect/ATK 800/DEF 1000
"Now the rest of the Spell Card's effect activates! I can Advance Summon the Monster that was Special Summoned by this card effect," Shingo added. "I release Escher to Advance Summon Mobius the Frost Monarch from my hand," Shingo said. There was a cool wind in the air as Mobius appeared on the field, replacing Escher as the Advance Summoned Monster creating a slight blizzard in the air.
Water/Level 6/Aqua/Effect/ATK 2400/DEF 1000
"Why do I feel the wind in the air when this isn't an Action Field?" Yuzu asked as the girl had the same look.
"But I'm not done. During this turn, I activate the Spell Card 'Advance Carnival' to Advance Summon a Monster again, so I release Mobius the Frost Monarch to Advance Summon Mobius the Mega Monarch!" Shingo added.
"So you're going to release Mobius to Advance Summon another monster" Yuzu gasped in surprise.
"That's right! Come forth! Mobius the Mega Monarch!" Shingo shouted as a bigger and bulkier version of Mobius appeared on the field. His arrival causes a blizzard again, making fierce winds in the air.
Water/Level 8/Aqua/Effect/ATK 2800/DEF 1000
"Since this card's a Level 8, usually it would need two monsters for an Advance Summon. However, this monster can be Advance Summon by using an Advance Summoned Monster. With this, I end my turn," Shingo explained.
"Now, if I were you, I would give up this duel before someone gets embarrassed after she stuck her nose where it wasn't supposed to be," Shingo taunted.
"Ridiculous," the girl said, shaking her head, "this duel is ridiculous. You think you'll win this duel because you have a strong monster. Give me a break, and here I thought you were a challenge, but all I see is a fool flaunting his cards around as he brags about the strength he doesn't have."
"What?!" Shingo growled.
"I'll end you right here!" the girl declared, drawing her card and starting her turn.
Turn 2
H:5-6
"I activate the Spell Card 'Ancient Rules' to Special Summon a Level 5 or higher Normal Monster from my hand. I choose to Special Summon my Level 8 Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" the girl said as a white dragon with blue eyes appeared on the field.
Light/Level 8/Dragon/Normal/ATK 3000/DEF 2500
"Blue-Eyes White Dragon," Yuzu muttered.
"I heard about that monster. I heard it represents power," Yamabe informed.
"How can it represent power when that monster has no effect at all" Shingo sneered.
"They have more power than you'll ever have in your life," the girl retorted. She continued her turn, ignoring Shingo's response to her smart remark.
"I activate the Spell Card 'Foolish Burial' to send my other Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my deck and send her to the Graveyard. However, she won't be staying there for long. I activate the Spell Card 'Swing of Memories' to Special Summon a Normal Monster in my Graveyard. However, the Monster that was Special Summoned due to this card's effect will be destroyed during the End Phase of this turn," the girl said. Then another Blue-Eyes White Dragon was summoned to her field.
Light/Level 8/Dragon/Normal/ATK 3000/DEF 2500
"You summon two monsters with ATKs higher than Mobius however, I will still have LP in my next turn," Shingo said.
"Didn't I already tell you I will finish you here" the girl reminded as she pointed her finger at her two monsters.
"With my two levels 8 Blue-Eyes White Dragons, I will construct the Overlay Network!" the girl shouted. The two Blue-Eyes White Dragons turned into two yellow balls of energy as they went into the Overlay Network.
"Made from thunder itself! Crash down and strike everything in your path that dares stands in your way! Xyz Summon! Show yourself! Rank 8! Thunder End Dragon!" the girl chanted as Thunder End Dragon appeared on the field as lightning struck everywhere. Thunder End Dragon roared, causing windows nearby to shatter.
Light/Rank 8/Dragon/Xyz/Effect/ATK 3000/DEF 2000/OU:2
The girl's birthmark glowed a bright white light when her Ace monster appeared. Arriving near the area, Naomi's birthmark started to glow even brighter.
"So, she nearby, huh… then I have to finish this duel as quick as I can," the girl thought as she ignored Shingo's remark. She clenched her outstretched hand.
"It seems that you don't understand Xyz Monster's potential, then let me show you," the girl declared. "I activate Thunder End Dragon's effect. I can detach an Overlay Unit to destroy all monsters on the field, excluding him."
Thunder End Dragon smashed one of his Overlay Units as he charged up, releasing massive lightning in the area. They created a huge halberd that destroyed Mobius the Mega Monarch. The effect caused even more explosions in the Warehouse.
"Now finally I activate the Equip Spell Card 'Xyz Unit' now an Xyz Monster I control gains ATK by each Rank it has times 200. Since Thunder End Dragon's Rank is 8, he gains 1600 ATK," the girl explained. Thunder End Dragon was covered in white lighting as its ATK rose to 4600.
"W-W-W-W-W-W-Wait!" Shingo yelled, waving his arms as the girl didn't listen to his pleads.
"Battle! Thunder End Dragon attack the player directly!" the girl shouted.
Thunder End Dragon charged its lighting again and charged toward Shingo as he made an impact with Shingo, causing the boy bruises. Thunder End Dragon caused more lightning in the area, making more explosions. As one of the explosions burned the bottom of the girl's cloak, causing her to take it off.

"Even though this wasn't an Action Field, her monster caused a lot of damage to this place," Ootomo commented.
The girl shook her hand, clearing the smoke around her. It revealed a girl who looked 14 years old. She had long black hair with dark green eyes as she wore a brown sleeveless jacket. She had long brown gloves, gold trim, and red bands on the upper arms. She wore black jeans, a red belt-like sash around her waist, and brown boots. Her glowing birthmark and her face looked exactly like Naomi's.
"S-Silent Mouse!" Shingo yelled before passing out on the floor due to the bruises on his body as his lackeys carried him out of the Warehouse.
"Naomi-chan!" Yuzu called out to the girl that looked like her friend.
"Naomi, that's not my name," the girl picked up her ruined cloak.
"My name is-" the girl said before she could reveal herself. There was a flash of pink, white, and green light in the area, causing the girls to cover their eyes as the mysterious girl disappeared in a cloud of white dust, leaving only Yuzu alone in the destroyed Warehouse.
Naomi opened her eyes as she saw her birthmark wasn't glowing anymore. She thought it must have been due to the brightness earlier from the flash. Still holding the water bottle pack, Naomi saw Yuzu standing in the Warehouse.
"Yuzu-chan!" Naomi called out as it seemed to snap Yuzu out of whatever daze she must have been in.
"Naomi-chan," Yuzu replied as another voice came into the Warehouse.
"Yuzu!" Yuya yelled, seeing his two childhood friends in the Warehouse. "Ah, Naomi's here."
"I wondered what took you so long with the drinks, and why does it stink in here?" Yuya said before plugging his nose and gagging at the burnt smell lingering in the Warehouse.
"Yuya-san, I ran into someone, and then I chased after him trying to help him with his situation, but he wouldn't let me," Naomi explained, pouting.
"Naomi, what you did was pretty creepy," Yuya said, backing away.
"I-I just wanted to help him! He sounded so sad when I wasn't the person he was looking for!" Naomi snapped back with heated cheeks.
"But did you really have to chase after him, Naomi?"
"Can we please drop this conversation, Yuya-san?"
Yuzu tuned out the rest of her friends' conversation and looked at Naomi as she shook her head.
"She wasn't Naomi-chan, and besides, she doesn't even know even Xyz Summon, but what if she hiding another secret from us?" Yuzu thought as she pondered about the mysterious girl who looked exactly like Naomi. As well as the secrets that Naomi could be hiding as well.
Somewhere in Maiami_ Normal Pov_
The mysterious girl opened her eyes and suddenly realized she was in an alleyway near LDS.
"Jeez, Yuki, you could've finished that duel earlier before this birthmark decided to teleport you somewhere in this dimension," Yuki scolded herself for her reckless actions.
"But I need to find Yuto-kun and Shun-kun so we can discuss our next move," Yuki said to herself. "But if I can't find them, then I need to talk to the man who can find out where Ruri-chan is and can save this dimension from becoming Academia's next target," Yuki said, looking at the LDS tower as she walked towards the building.
"And that person is Reiji Akaba."

Also, I was wondering, for the duel with Hokuto vs Yuya, should I use different cards but with the same result, and for the Yuzu vs Masumi duel, give Yuzu another chance to win against Masumi? However, she still strives to become stronger or leave the duel the way it is and keep the result the same?
