Chapter 21: Fixing Sabrina.

Ash opened his eyes and found himself in a weird void. It was mostly black but there were shifting colors.

He looked around and everything was confusing.

"What just happened?" asked Ash, "Is anyone out there!"

"What the!" yelled a voice.

Ah ran towards the voice.

That was when he saw a young boy who was much younger than him by a few years.

He was staring at his hands in shock.

That was when Ash recognized the kid.

"Zoro?" asked Ash.

"What the hell just happened!" yelled the now little kid.

"I don't know.,.." said Ash realizing that Zoro did remember who he was.

"I have no idea why I[m a little kid…" muttered Zoro.

"You think it's Sabrina?" asked Ash.

"Probably…" said Zoro, "I mean she did just freak out."

"We need to find the others…" said Ash.

Zoro nodded.

That was when Zoro stepped on something soft.

He lift his foot and both of them saw what he had stepped on…

It was a little doll of Misty.

"Uh…" said Ash.

"Misty?" asked Zoro.

"Yeah…" said the little Misty.

Ash started to scream while Zoro yelled "WHAT THE!"

"Zoro! Why did you little kid." Said Misty.

"You're a doll… you have no room to talk." Said Zoro.

"Okay… you have a point." Said Misty.

"Can you move?" asked Ash.

"No…" said Misty, "I can't…"

"DO you want us to carry you?" asked Zoro.

"Of course I want you to carry me." Said Misty.

Ash carried the little Misty doll in his pocket with her sticking out.

"You okay?" asked Ash to Misty.

"No… I'm a doll and we have no idea what's going on…" said Misty, "It probably has to do with Sabrina."

"We need to find the others." Said Ash.

"But how?" asked Misty.

"I don't know." Said Ash.

Grea.t.." muttered Zoro.

That was when the little girl doll version of Sabrina appeared to them.

"What do you want!" yelled Zoro.

"Something's wrong…" said the doll version of Sabrina.

"What?" asked Ash.

"Sabrina has always been split… but now she is broken…" said the doll version.

"What are you talking about?" asked Zoro.

That was when the doll girl began to glitch.

"What..,." said Ash.

"Please find the real Sabrina…" said the doll version.

Then she disappeared.

"It is Sabrina…" said Zoro.

"Yeah…" sighed Misty.

"We need to find everyone else." Said Ash.

"You're right… but…" said Misty.

"trying to call out to them will be a problem…" said Zoro.

"Why would it be a problem?" demanded Ash.

"because we're in a weird void I'm a little kid." Pointed out Zoro.

"We have no idea what's out there." Agreed Misty.

"Fine…" Ash admitted defeat in the argument.

Ash then sighed and grabbed Zoro's hand.

They began to look around the void.

"Hey!" yelled heard Luffy yell.

"Of course…" sighed Misty.

Ash and Zoro ran towards Luffy's voice but couldn't find him.

"Where is he?" asked Ash.

"I'm down here!" yelled Luffy.

They looked down and saw that Luffy was once again shrunk.

"Why are you so big?" asked Luffy, "Wait… Zoro! Are you a little kid!"

"Okay,,, we only have to find Brock and Nami." Said Misty.

Ash picked up Luffy.

"Wait where's Misty?" asked Luffy.

"I'm in his pocket." Said Misty.

"Whoa! You're a doll?" asked Luffy.

"Yeah…" sighed Misty

"How?" asked Luffy.

"You're tiny! And you ask how I was turned into a doll! Really Luffy!" yelled Misty.

"Now we have to find Nami and Brock… and our Pokémon…" said Ash.

"Wait… you're missing your Poke balls?" asked Misty.

Ash nodded.

"Wait… you don't think Sabrina has them?" asked Zoro.

"I think we need to find Brock and Nami first…" said Misty.

Luffy stretched himself to the top of Ash's head.

He looked around.

"I can't see them." Said Luffy.

"If I could face palm right now… I would…" sighed Misty.

They counited their search.

It wasn't going well… mostly because it was all very strange. They weren't sure where they were going.

"Okay… I'm getting worried." Said Misty.

"I know…" said Zoro.

"We have to find them…" said Luffy.

"We have no idea where we are… no idea where they are… and for all we know we'll end up finding Sabrina first." Said Zoro.

"Zoro's right…" pointed out Misty.

"We have no idea what we're doing…" sighed Ash.

"Oh come on! We can't figure it out." Said Luffy.

"Let's just sit down." Said Ash.

That was when things began to shake.

"That's not a good sign." Said Ash.

"OF course it's not." Muttered Zoro.

We can't rest…" said Misty realizing what the shaking meant.

They counited on their way…

That was when they heard crying.

They headed towards the crying and found a horrible site.

Sabrina… was crying hugging her knees… A bunch of Poke balls were floating alongside her along with both Pikachus as well as an unconscious Brock and Nami.

"What…" said Ash.

"You…" growled out Sabrina.

"Sabrina…" said Ash.

"You cheat! You monster!" growled Sabrina.

"I didn't intend to cheat! I don't even know the name of the Pokémon that I used!" yelled Ash.

That was when Ash was lift off the ground.

"Stop it!" cried the doll like Sabrina appearing, "He really innocent!"

However the regular Sabrina didn't let him go.

That was when Luffy who was still on Ash managed to Gum Gum Pistol Sabrina's eye.

It hurt a little but it did distract her enough to let go of Ash.

However Sabrina psychically lift the tiny Luffy and flung him away.

"Luffy!" yelled Zoro.

"I'm okay!" called out Luffy who grabbed on to Zoro's shoulder and landed on him.

"Stop this! You have to calm down! We've lost before!" said the doll like Sabrina.

"To Ghost Pokémon!" growled out Sabrina, "And to Bug Type Pokémon…"

"Bug types are strong against them!" said Ash.

"What!" cried Misty in shock.

Ash took out the Misty doll form his pocket and tossed her at Zoro.

"ASH! WHY!" yelled Misty.

"Because he's still her target…" said Zoro, "He had no other choice."

If Misty were human at the moment she would be sweating.

"But that Pokémon… he cheated!" yelled Sabrina.

That was when the bearded man teleported in.

"Sabrina you have to calm down! I've never seen you behave like this!" yelled the man.

"That cheater needs to suffer!" yelled Sabrina.

"What happened exactly…" said the man.

"I used a Pokémon I have no idea about… and it was able to take the hits…" said Ash.

The man sighed…

"She never faced off against a Dark Type Pokémon…" said the bearded man.

"Dark Type Pokémon?" asked Ash.

"They're one of the three lesser known types of Kanto… and the only one of the three where there's evidence suggesting that native Pokémon are not of that type…" explained the man.

"What?" asked Ash.

"Talk to a Pokémon professor or Nurse about it… I've been outside of Kanto…" explained the man, "I've heard something about Jigglypuffs and Magnemites being the other two types…"

Ash was still confused.

"Get away from here!" yelled Sabrina, "Begone!"

"If there was a way to reach her…" said the Doll like little girl, "That would the only way…"

"I'm sorry!" yelled Ash deciding to try, "I didn't know any of this would happen…"

She once again lifted him.

"It's not good enough… which type of play thing should I make you… a doll… small… or a child…" said Sabrina, "Or perhaps a combination of the three…"

That was when suddenly Haunter showed up.

"What?" asked Ash.

Haunter began to do things at Sabrina, little jokes.

"What… what's going on…" said Misty.

"I have no idea…" said Zoro.

And that was when Haunter took out of a bomb and it exploded.

There was an awkward silence.

Then Sabrina slowly smiled and then started to giggle.

The doll like Sabrina smiled.

"I think that finally reached her…" said the Doll like Sabrina.

That was when the void was gone and they were back in the real world.

The hostages all fell to the ground and with the Pikachus, Nami and Brock waking up.

Misty, Luffy and Zoro also returned to normal.

"What happened?" asked Brock.

"You don't want to know…" answered Zoro.

"I don't even know what happened…" said Misty with a far off look in her eye.

That was when the Pawniard made itself known as looked at them saying "Where did you go?"

However that was when Sabrina stopped laughing and when she did she fainted.

The bearded man ran over to Sabrina and checked on her.

"She used too much of her power…" said the man.

"Who are you?" asked Zoro, "Because there's no way you can be a bystander."

"You're right… I'm her father." He explained.

He told the story about growing up she was obsessed with perfecting her psychic abilities and nothing else mattered but it eventually fractured her psyche into two halves, the serious psychic and the little girl who just wanted to have fun.

"But with everything was slowly building such a loss sent our already fractured psyche to its breaking point…" explained the Doll like Sabrina who was very much ghost like, "I think it was her experiencing real laughter is what fixed it. Thank you so much… and good bye…"

The last bit of the Doll like Sabrina disappeared knowing that she was no longer needed.

Ash started to stare at Haunter.

"I have so many questions right now…" said Ash looking at Haunter.

Haunter just shrugged.

"I don't think you're going to get any answers…" said Nami with a sweat drop.

"But you did managed to save her…" said the man who was Sabrina's father.

"We both are…" said a voice.

They turned and saw a woman.

"Sorry… I wasn't here sooner… I had some problems I was dealing with…" said the woman, "Oh I'm Sabrina's mother by the way…"

"Do we want to know?" asked Misty.

"Probably not a good idea…" said Sabrina's mother.

She was turned into a doll a while back and she was living in a doll house and was dealing with Doll House related injuries…

When Sabrina woke she apologized for everything and gave Ash the badge, especially after learning about Dark Type Pokémon. Though Sabina's father didn't recognize the Pokémon and assumed that Ash had a Houndour or a Murkrow… while rare in Kanto weren't unheard of near Saffron City.

Also they decided it was better to leave Haunter with Sabina since she wanted to keep him for emotional support after everything.

Ash hadn't caught him so it was fine…

As they left Ash stared at the Badge in confusion.

"So… was this another piety badge?" asked Ash.

"No… you did beat her… using a Pokémon that you didn't know would work… but it was fair…" said Misty.

"Okay…" said Ash.

"Talk to Pro. Oak about this later…" said Nami.

"I know…" said Ash.

And yes… Ash got another badge… after a really, really bizarre series of events… but at least it wasn't another pity so that was fair…

Next Time: After talking to Pro. Oak about what happened with Sabrina he talks about catching more Pokémon. When he decided to try to catch a new one things get heated with the Pokémon and surprisingly with Luffy when it deals with a hat... What will happen? Find out next time!
