Hermione immediately grabbed her package from George and went to her desk so she could write to him. Hermione started sorting through her basket more thoroughly than she had before. There were a couple of different lubes. One that changed flavor to the person's liking and the other was for pleasure. It would heighten everything that you felt. A few more of the Playdates. She pulled all the dream potions out and read them, they were all easy to understand. Two that would ensure you had calm, relaxed, dreams without side effects and you only needed a small amount so they would last a long time. Then there were a few bottles of the daydream potions, these she had actually sampled before but this was a newer version where you were laying out at the beach on a nice day. Then there were a few fantasy dream potions, they would give you a fantasy about the person you were infatuated with. The potion would work off of your desires at the time you were using it so each fantasy would be different depending on what you wanted. These could be used while awake or you could take with a Sleepy Potion and it would delay the effect until you fell asleep. Hermione wondered if you could use it with the beach fantasy potion, that could get interesting. Next, there were a few massage oils. A few for relaxing and lowering stress, and a few for partner play. Other than that there was a lotion to make your muscles relax within seconds.
Dearest George,
You really are a genius! The intelligence and the ideas behind your products are so astronomical. Charlie told me that he had a few ideas and you ran with them, you did an amazing job. We tried the Partners Playdate Potion and it was so realistic. I would certainly give it an O grade. I just fully went through your products and have a question. Everything is really easy to read but I was wondering if your daydream potions can be used at the same time as the fantasy potions? It would be good to have a really clear list of what can and cannot be combined, granted I know I have unreleased products.
Also, if this is a line you are serious about there are two suggestions, I have for you. Market your good dream potions to St. Mungo's, they could really use that to help out a lot of their patients and they could also point people your way who are struggling to stop nightmares after the war or any other trauma they have experienced, they may even keep it on hand now that they offer counseling.
Other than that, if you want an adult line to really take off you need to also expand it to focus on singles, as well. You may want to look into adult toys, I'm sure there is some way to make wizard versions that are better than what muggles, have. Also, make sure people can order anonymously, too many people will pass to avoid the embarrassment. So far you are off to a great start and I promise to start trying more of the products. Thank you so much for trusting my opinions and thoughts. I will write again, soon.
Wishing you the best
Hermione.
Hermione rolled her parchment up and tied it to her owl. She really hoped what she wrote could help George out. She would try her sleepy potion and a fantasy potion at some point this week, probably Friday or Saturday in case it had any kind of side effect whatsoever. Other than that, she would at least try the lotion and see if it would help her muscles. Usually, she was sore when she woke up from sleeping so tensely.
It was almost time for Charlie to mirror her, as they called it, so She decided to get comfortable before the call. She changed into some of her comfy sweats Charlie had picked and situated herself in front of the fire with a book, just for fun. She was going to have a lot of grading to do, soon, so she thought she would indulge herself. Hermione enjoyed little more than she enjoyed opening up a new book for the first time. Soon, she was caught up in the detail of the first chapter, then the second. It was when Hermione was five chapters in that she realized that Charlie hadn't called her, yet. Panic set in suddenly and deeply.
"Charlie?" Hermione picked up her mirror. She didn't get an answer and felt like she had swallowed something incredibly sour. Her stomach felt like it was turning and looking at the clock didn't help it was almost ten. Hermione set her book down and started walking aimlessly through her common room and dorm while randomly trying to get a hold of Charlie. At ten-thirty, she decided to go for a run and get her mind off things. Not a long one, just something to wear her out, physically. She was out of her portrait in less than five minutes. She ran around the third floor a couple of times before hitting the grand staircase. She ran up to the 7th floor before turning and heading the long way to Trelawny's class. Hermione hit as many staircases as possible before turning around to head back towards the astronomy Tower. She hit as many straight stretches as she could to run some sprints. At the top of the tower, she stopped to lean against the walls and stretch for a minute. Hermione looked around. She had missed this view greatly and how freeing it felt. She looked at the darkest tower and couldn't help the smile that broke out or the involuntary grab her hand made at her heart. She still hurt deeply that Sirius was gone but she also felt comfort because Harry had confided about the resurrection stone and that Sirius, along with everyone else, was still with them.
"Sirius, I really could use a bit of your humor and wisdom, right now." Hermione sighed
"I don't really think you're going to be able to hear his answer."
Hermione whipped around, quickly, grabbing her wand out of her holster before realizing it was Draco. He was leaned against the wall off behind the doorway.
"No, but he can hear me," Hermione said, confidently.
"What makes you so sure?"
"The resurrection stone exists, Harry had it last year and got to talk to him for a few moments." Hermione saw no reason to lie.
"So you just go around talking to Sirius?" Draco asked.
"Sometimes, I talk to everyone I've lost here and there." Hermione found comfort in it since she had lost her grandmother quite a while back but now, took even more comfort in it knowing that they really could hear her.
"That actually sounds relieving" Draco admitted.
"It is," Hermione told him, "even more so, now that I know they really do hear me. I just sometimes wish I could hear them one more time."
"I take it noble Harry Potter got rid of the stone before it could hurt somebody." It really wasn't a question but he also wasn't being Malicious talking about Harry.
"Yes, he had heard the story about the three brothers and he was on his way to face Voldemort… Tom Riddle." Hermione said. "I think it was partially not wanting them to have it, he planned on dying and didn't think he would be back and partially didn't want them to be able to use it to torture others.
"I'm really glad that Harry was such a saint after all," Draco looked into her eyes. "He really saved our world, I mean, I know it wasn't just him but he really was being incredibly selfless and I'm really glad that he did what he did because if he hadn't I would either be dead or worse."
"Yeah, it's hard to believe it's over, sometimes, but I am glad to have this year to breathe." Draco didn't have to fill in the or worse, part, Hermione knew he meant he could be a death eater.
"I am too. I'm glad my mother is free of everything, now, and even though he is my father I am glad Lucius is in Azkaban. Maybe I shouldn't be but he can't hurt us anymore."
"It's never easy to feel that way toward someone you are supposed to love but at the same time, it's not easy when someone that is supposed to treat you with love and compassion treats you wrong. It's for the best interest of a lot of people for him to be locked away." Hermione couldn't imagine the things that Draco had to go through growing up but she was glad he was now getting to actually decide who he was.
"Yeah." Draco nodded.
"I better get going. Hermione told him. "Make sure to get some rest when you can, I'll see you in class, soon." With a wave, she left.
It only took Hermione a few minutes to get back to her dorm when she walked in she went straight to her mirror again before anything else. Charlie still wasn't answering and Hermione didn't really know what to do at the moment but decided she would take a shower and if Charlie didn't answer by the time, she was done she would go to Headmistress McGonagall if she didn't think of something better, she knew she would be forgiven, eventually. It was almost eleven-thirty and this was nerve-wracking. Hermione took the mirror into the shower with her with little hope. She was going to power through washing her hair and body before throwing on her sweats and getting some wisdom.
Authors note- Thank y'all for sticking with me, I know it's short but I hope you love the little update anyway. I'm really trying to get back on track! let me know if there is anything you want to see or explore in the story!
