The Pretty Girl

Let me tell you something: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to be blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them. – Unknown

The cold weather was surprisingly bearable that morning, but maybe it was just the fact that Jay was too wired and in a real hurry. She wanted to meet up with Kim before she would go to school knowing that whatever the hell was going on between her and Matt wasn't good. The instinct that only ever failed Jay once when she was just a kid and thought some perv was her real father, didn't fail her since so she knew Matt was shady even before she had any proof.

As she stopped in front of the hospital, she gently stroked her wrist remembering how he bruised her.

Asshole

Jay felt a wave of rage over the feeling of fear and hopelessness as she couldn't get him to back off. He stood there all smug like he had all the power, and Jay knew how much at a disadvantage she was. She hated feeling the way he made her feel.

Seriously hated it.

The blonde hoped whatever was going on wouldn't be bad enough that her and Kim wouldn't find a way out of it. Nicole was no help since she was probably still upset about yesterday and dodged all of Jay's texts like the immature individual she could sometimes be. Nicole's ghosting was partly the reason why Jay didn't really try harder to stay in touch with her after she got her new friends when she became popular. At least this time she had Leonardo to help her lift some of the weight off her shoulders. She knew she told him about how much he meant to her, but it was still impossible to express it properly even with the mind-reading. For the first time, in a very long time, Jay felt she had someone in her corner and that was something that gave her more strength than she would ever expected it to.

The blond girl felt herself calm down a bit knowing that as long as she had him, she could do this.

'Hi,' said Jay to the nurse at the desk. She came to visit quite often and even if she didn't know all the nurses and doctors by name, she gained a sense of recognition.

'Hello, dear,' said the nurse, and for a second Jay thought she looked a bit confused, 'What are you doing here?'

'Uh, I came to see Kim Sawyer.'

Now the nurse looked very confused, 'Oh, sweetie, didn't someone call you? Kim was moved last night.'

'Moved?' repeated Jay and for a second turned to look at the hall she used so many times before to get to Kim's room.

'Yes, some family friend and her parents got her a spot at a private clinic. They're the best in bone reconstruction. She was lucky. Not a lot of people get a spot.'

'Oh,' said Jay not really calming down by the explanation, but also not sure what else could she say. It made sense. The doctor wasn't very optimistic about Kim's leg due to the devastating injury from the metal bar that went right through it at the subway. But still…

'I guess, Kim still doesn't have a phone,' said Jay slowly and then offered the nurse a bit of an overly cheerful smile she knew would make her look even prettier which was why she almost never used it, 'Could you maybe give me the name of the clinic?'

The blond was unsure what she could do with the information, but she felt better when the nurse nodded and eagerly wrote the name on a piece of paper which she then tugged into the pocket of her winter jacket.

On her way to school, she sent a text to Delores Sawyer's phone hoping at least she would answer, but no one replied.

Odd

For some reason, Jay couldn't shake the feeling of uneasiness. It was just so weird. Kim's text came around 10 P.M so they had to move her afterward and wasn't that like a very late time to be moved?

She tried to call Kim's mom, but the phone just kept on ringing, ignored. It wasn't like the woman couldn't be doing something, anything really, but Jay couldn't help herself but grow even more nervous by this. It just didn't sit right with her that Matt got himself back in Kim's good grace, Kim had some secret talk with Nicole and then later texted Jay that she would explain everything only to disappear. It just all felt shady.

Just before she entered her first class, Jay texted Leo feeling she needed at least some support.

Hey, I know you're asleep, but call when you get this.

True, she might have been just paranoid, but Jay had enough close calls to know there was nothing wrong with being paranoid and her instinct told her something was very wrong with the whole Kim situation.

Two classes later and no word from Kim, no Nicole or Molly at school at all, and Leo still probably asleep from the long night of patrol, Jay's nerves were very much at an all-time high. She tried their phones as well, but no one replied to her.

Alright, she was probably pushing it, but still, she found herself going through the senior classes to check if Matt was in class.

'What's up, blondie? Came to see me?' asked Chris, of all the assholes she could have met, and Jay rolled her eyes, 'Is Matt in school?'

'Oh, come on, don't be like that. Matt can't have all the pretty girls,' whined Chris and tried to put his arm around her, but she purposely took a step back.

One of the boys rolled his eyes and shoved Chris a bit, 'Take a hint. Matt's not here. Kim woke up so he went to spend some time with her. His parents talked with the principal.'

Jay didn't like the sound of that, and she didn't bother to hide it, 'Thanks.'

She got out of the classroom before anyone could say anything and despite her annoyance tried to find Carmen already regretting her choice, 'Hey, do you have Kim's home address?'

The girl looked up at her from her locker, 'You don't? I thought you were BFFs, Jay-Jay.'

Jay tried to control her growing anger, 'Look, it's important, can you please give me her address?'

Carmen actually stopped ignoring her and looked at her properly before she rolled her eyes and texted her the address, 'Here, don't say, I never gave you anything.'

'Thanks,' said Jay and started to walk away noticing Amanda and Corina (Molly's friends), 'Hey, wait up!'

Both girls looked a bit annoyed and weirdout by her when she caught up with them, 'Have either of you heard from Molly?'

Corina didn't seem too interested in answering, but Amanda at least sighed, 'Yeah, she's sick so she won't come for a few days.'

'Sick? With what?' asked Jay. She didn't look sick when she last saw her visiting Kim in the hospital, but anything could have happened since then. But why wouldn't she answer her texts? Was she pissed off or scared because Jay knew her secret? Did she figure it out? Jay wasn't exactly subtle when she took her to see Kim, but still.

'Look, skinny bitch, if Molly didn't tell you, you're on the doesn't need to know bases,' said Corina and started to drag Amanda away who just shrugged her shoulders in an apology.

Jay couldn't really blame them. Until she met Leonardo, she almost never even bothered to talk to anyone. Also, she had a feeling that hanging out with Nicole again, who was definitely on the bully side of the road, didn't win her any favors.

Her last resort was unfortunately Jill who probably liked her even less than Carmen and Corina, but sucking up her personal issues she tried to catch her before Biology, 'Did you speak with Nicole? Why isn't she in school?'

Jill looked her up and down and frowned, 'You don't know? Shocker. I thought you two were back in the bound by birth cord status.'

Jay frowned back at her already feeling annoyed that everyone was so bitchy to her. She got it, she was the ice queen, but she really wasn't in the mood for petty high school drama, 'Did you talk to her since yesterday or not?'

'She texted me if I was free to hang, but I wasn't, so she must have found someone else to party with,' said Jill nonchalantly and went to take a seat.

'Aren't you worried about her?' pressured Jay not really sure she could handle worrying about all her friends.

The other blond grimaced and looked at Jay as if she thought she was some naïve country girl, 'Please, Nicole's made of steel. Nothing will happen to her. She's probably just too hung over to get to class. Take a chill pill. Looks like you could need a few.'

The teacher came inside, and Jay was forced to take a seat and nervously bounce her leg until the end of the class when she decided to fuck it and called Leo.

'H-hello,' came his sleepy voice from the other end as she locked herself in one of the stools, but she couldn't help but feel at least partly better just to hear him.

'Hi, I'm sorry, I woke you up,' said Jay immediately.

'It's okay…,' she heard him yawn and move probably to sit up it made her smile a bit to imagine him do that, 'What's up?'

Jay bit the inside of her mouth for a couple of moments trying to collect her thoughts, 'I'm not sure, I just feel-'

She heard the door to the restroom open and some girls giggling which made her pause, 'I'll text you in a bit, okay?'

'Alright.'

Her fingers typed faster than usual immediately sending the messages not really paying attention to any grammatical errors. Once she was finally done, she did feel relief and like she might have overreacted, but at the same time knew Leo wouldn't think anything bad about it or hold it against her.

I can ask Donnie to look into the clinic. I think he will be more than interested to do so if he didn't already.

She breathed out a sigh of relief.

Thank you

Of course, do you want to come over after school?

Jay thought about it. She did. More than anything. She loved spending time with Leo and liked his family. It was better than her lonely room by far, but at the same time, she knew she wouldn't be able to rest until she would check up on the others.

Yes, but later, I want to go check up on Nicole and maybe Molly.

Leo as always understood and encourage her to text him if she needed anything.

Jay didn't really need to convince Leonardo. After she presented her facts, he couldn't help but agree with her. Something didn't feel right about it all. After what she told him about Matt McCohen, Leo felt, not unjustifiable, anger toward the teenage boy the same way he always felt whenever Jay revealed one of the assaults, she faced from men who assumed they could do whatever they wanted and hurt women as they pleased. It sicked him in general, but when it came to his blond girl who captured his heart with her ocean blue eyes and soft smile, it enraged him to states he wouldn't think he possessed. Not even when Raph got under his skin did, he ever feel so angry. McCohen was a lucky son of a bitch that they didn't cross paths because even after hours of meditation to find his center, the oldest and calmest ninja turtle couldn't guarantee he wouldn't throw a punch. Physically speaking.

Almost the second, he knew Jay returned to her class, Leo got off from his bed and room. The lair was strangely quiet, even if everyone was asleep.

Before he got to Donnie's little workshop, Leonardo paused and looked around trying to figure out what bothered him about the scene before he actually got inside.

Strange

'Oh, you're up?' asked Leo surprised, but one look at Donnie's face told him, he shouldn't be, 'You didn't go to bed yet, did you?'

His younger brother grimaced his tired eyes narrowed and the circles under his eyes made him look like a proper turtle zombie. Mikey would have a field day if he saw him. How could someone be so intelligent yet such an idiot at the same time, Leo would never know, 'You got Kim to wake up, Donnie, you should rest.'

Donnie crossed his arms, 'I did rest, but then I figured I would work a bit, what's up? Breakfast?'

Leo shook his head and got closer, 'Jay called. Apparently, Kim wanted to talk to her this morning, but before Jay got there they moved her from the hospital into some clinic overnight, and now her Kim's mom doesn't answer her phone. Can you-?'

He didn't even finish as Donnie already started to type and click, and then said, 'Hospital for special surgeries in New York on the 70th street.'

Leo nodded and came closer as his brother read a frown pressed across his face, 'It seems legit. The hospital really does these sorts of things. Kim's leg bone was very damaged, and the doctors mentioned many times they were worried if she would ever be able to use it again and if she wasn't at risk of losing the leg completely. The overnight move is strange, but all the paperwork is alright, and…'

'What?' asked Leo as he sensed the pause and noticed how Donnie's hand clenched into a fist next to his keyboard for a second before, he released it.

'All the surgeries and treatment were already paid for,' he said in a very firm voice with an edge Leo wasn't familiar with.

Anger

Donnie wasn't one to easily submit into it. Not like Raph or him at times. Being too logical forbidden such outbursts although Leo had to admit his brother came close to it when he lashed out at Mikey while looking for his Jane Doe. However, those were outbursts, this was silent and therefore far more dangerous.

'That's weird. Wouldn't her parents wait for a bill?' asked Leonardo trying to focus on what he just learned.

'It wasn't paid by her parents but a foundation,' explained Donnie, his green eyes still fixed on the screen before he started to type again, 'Isaiah's foundation.'

Leo glanced at it as well and was allowed to see the screen and the logo of the foundation. It was blue with some black paint across it which also caused Leo to feel like he should be looking at something else. Somewhere in the back of his mind, it felt familiar like he had seen it before.

'It's a church foundation,' explained Donnie, 'I already stumbled upon it when I was checking Kim's life after her accident in the subway.'

'It's her church?' asked Leo still hypnotized by the symbol, his mind trying to figure out where he saw it before.

Donnie didn't answer instead he clicked a few times and showed Leo some photos of an older-looking couple and a younger-looking handsome teenage boy. He didn't know what Donnie was showing him, but his gut told him it was important and serious and as he looked around, he realized why.

At the bottom of the pictures were the names of the people in them, and one of those names was Matt McCohen.

Leo now felt probably as uneasy as Jay and Donnie did, but he knew he needed to keep a cool head even if just by looking at the cocky boy, he felt himself getting worked up again.

Jay said he wasn't even in school, and she wasn't dumb or naïve enough to try and look for him. She was fine. Still, Leo thought about the bruises left on her wrist, and the hopelessness of her thoughts and seriously felt he hated this kid.

Leo put his hand on Donnie's arm, 'Jay said their families are friends. They might just be helping her out as good Christians. Breathe, alright?'

Donnie remained silent for a while but eventually, he nodded, and Leo could hear him release a sigh. Not exactly a relieved one, but still, something close to trying to calm down.

Leo nodded as well feeling better than his brother calmed down and so he could as well, 'If Kim's mom doesn't answer her, Jay can check their house, and we can check the hospital and get in touch with Kim. It sounds weird, but we don't know anything yet, alright?'

Donnie nodded again and brushed his face looking like he was at least trying to come back to his reasoning, 'I know, I know, I just…I feel responsible for her. She…I saved her…and he…I don't trust him. Not after what Jay said.'

And that was only half of it since her friend Nicole Diaz told Kim and Jay about the kiss, she also told Leo, well, she couldn't stop thinking about it, so he heard it, and told Donnie at one point during the night. However, since she was only guessing when it came to Molly Jones, Leo kept that from his brothers. Mikey knew, but he didn't know who his friend Mo really was. Jay was right, once you got girls involved there was a lot of drama.

'Come let's go wake up the others and make some breakfast and coffee,' said Leo, and Donnie followed him outside. They got Raphael out easily although Leo could sense that whatever was lifting his spirits the past few days ran out as he seemed grumpier than usual.

'Do you two have to be so loud? What kind of sorry pathetic excused of ninjas are you?!' he snapped at them before they even got to his door.

Leo rolled his eyes at him, 'Let's go eat.'

Once they came into Mikey's room even before they knocked Leo knew what puzzled him when he was heading toward Donnie even before they looked inside. There was an absence of two things Mikey's horrible snoring, and Mikey.

'What the-!'

Jay didn't like the news she got from Leo, and she agreed she would go check out Kim's house, but before that, the blond decided to go see if she could find Nicole. It was several hours now and not only did the Latina ignore her texts and calls she didn't even open them. Jay definitely didn't like that and wished to see her or at least know where she was.

Her doorman greeted her politely and with a smile as usual but couldn't really tell what time did Nicole came home last night.

After a brief discussion with her maid, the woman let her in, and Jay looked around Nicole's room. She was far messier than Jay's, or more like had Nicole had own system where she liked everything presented out in the open so she wouldn't forget it. Mostly have makeup.

However, Jay was confused by the strong smell that came from her room, and for a moment blushed as she figured out what it was, 'Uh, do you not clean Nicole's room?'

The older maid shook her head and said in easy enough Spanish that Jay somehow understood, 'Senorita Nicole, me prohibio entrar. Ella dijo que se limpiaria sola.' Then she laughed at the idea that Nicole would clean her own room, which in Jay's opinion given what she saw was fair.

She returned to the room wondering where could Nicole be and if she shouldn't contact her mom.

As she went to open the balcony to get some fresh air inside, she noticed a stack of unopened pink condoms with a logo that showed they should be strawberry flavored or something.

The blond grimaced and was grateful they weren't open, but a quick glance into her trash can revealed a lot that was.

Maybe, she was overreacting. Maybe she really just got drunk, hooked up with the guy she told her about a bunch of times, and then went to his place to continue.

However, just as Jay started to doubt her worries, her blue eyes noticed Nicole's lamp. It was broken. Badly. Upon further examination, Jay couldn't deny it looked like it hit something very roughly and had what looked like dry blood around the damaged parts.

Nicole, where the hell are you?

Leaving her no choice, Jay picked up the phone and left a voice mail, 'Nicole, hate me all you want if you don't answer in an hour, I'm calling your dad.' That would definitely freak her out since out of the two it was her father who acted like the more decent parent.

Knowing she didn't have a choice, Jay thanked the maid and asked her to call if Nicole came home before she rushed to her next stop. As much as she would want to go see Kim, she lived further away and without a car, the closest was Molly's house.

Just as she was close to her front door a message came.

Do not dare to contact my parents, and fucking stay away from my house!

Jay held the phone a bit too tight before she tugged it away into her pocket. Fine, at least Nicole was alright. She would figure out what the hell crawled up her butt later.

'Try his phone,' ordered Raph just as Donnie immediately jumped back to his workshop to trace the signal while Leo pulled out his and tried to call.

'It's off,' said Leo after he heard the automatic voice inform him of this.

He and Raph started to look around Mikey's room whole Donnie returned, 'I can't trace it when it's off. Did he return with either of you or-'

'This is all fucking your fault!' accused him Raph and Leo frowned, 'What the hell are you talking about?'

'You had to go see your girlfriend last night like you couldn't wait one fucking night, and you didn't wait for Mikey. He might not have even come home. Did you at least bother to check up on him last night-'

'Hey! Don't bring Jay into this, and for your information, I did,' said Leo defensively and stood in front of his brother ready for a fight, 'Mikey and I texted, he said he's near the lair.'

'Oh, near the lair, excellent. Nothing bad ever happened near the lair-'

'Raph, knock it off!' said Donnie and stood behind Leo in a clear signal that he was on his side, 'You came home even later than Leo did, and I didn't hear you browsing around to check if Mikey was alright.'

Their other sibling growled upon hearing that, and both he and Donnie tensed waiting for a fight just as they heard, 'My sons, what is the meaning of this?'

They all turned to the door to see Master Splinter standing with a cup of tea looking at them.

Anger left Leo's body as he realized Raph was right and they had no time for that now, 'Master Splinter, Michelangelo, is not home. It seems he didn't come last night at all. I'm solely to blame-'

'Don't say that,' said Donnie and put his hand on his shoulder, 'Neither of us checked with Mikey. We were exhausted and he wrote you he was close to the lair.'

'I'm the leader, I should have waited to for him to check that he made it home. I'm sorry, Master Splinter whatever punishment you decide-'

Their father rose his palm and Leo stopped talking, 'We shall wait and see what night will bring. We are fortunate that winter allows you to go out sooner than normal. You will look for your youngest brother and find him.'

He spoke so calmly and rationally, that he could almost fool them, but Leonardo knew he was worried about Mikey as they all were given that he was the youngest and still sort of the baby of the family. If something really happened to him because he was too invested in Jay, Leo wasn't sure what he would do.

He looked at Raph, who looked away from him and went out of the room. Somehow, not hearing Raph's anger was worse than if he shouted at him or picked a fight.

Leo glanced around Mikey's room again and hope their brother would be alright.

She knocked for several long agonizing moments but when no one answered. She tried again threatening to contact Molly's nana if she didn't open. It seemed to work on Nicole so who knew.

After a few seconds, she heard noises, doors, and footsteps before Molly opened her. She looked a bit fluttered and her face was flushed so maybe the whole illness thing was true after all. Could it be that Jay was so wrong about so many things today?

'Hi, I'm sorry to bother you like this, but I was worried. Are you alright?' she asked honestly feeling a bit bad that she had doubts about Molly being sick.

The shorter girl nodded and started to sign something, but Jay stopped her, 'Not so fast, a bit slower.'

Molly nodded and tried again. Jay understood sorry and sick.

However, when she looked at the girl she coughed. Not like she was sick, but like she wanted to prove to someone who she just told she was sick that she was which puzzled Jay and made her give the other girl a look like do you think I'm an idiot?

Molly purposely looked away after that, and Jay couldn't help but almost laugh at how poor of an actress the girl was. It was shocking she managed to hide knowing Mikey or possibly her deal with Matt for such a long time.

Seriously.

'Are you sure?'

Molly looked at her for a second and nodded.

Either way, Jay couldn't blame her for playing hooky. It wasn't like she owed her anything. Even if the blond was starting to get upset about how on the outside of everyone's lives, she felt right now.

What was even more strange was when Jay heard some noises from the inside of Molly apartment, 'Is your Nana home?'

Molly feverishly nodded to which Jay mentally called bullshit.

'She didn't come to answer the door.'

Molly looked away just for a second before she signed again the word sick.

'She's also sick?'

Molly nodded much calmer and satisfied that Jay understood which only underlined the fact that Molly wasn't sick and whoever was in her apartment wasn't her granny. She just hoped it wasn't Matt, but she wasn't sure how to ask without giving away the fact that she knew.

'Alright,' said Jay hoping she looked sincere, 'You both get well soon.'

Molly continued to nod looking like she would very much be happy if Jay left already and the moment she leaned a bit back into the apartment, Jay rushed inside hitting her a bit with the door.

Molly tossed her hands around and no doubt was signing something, but Jay ignored her and looked around not really seeing anyone. Would Matt hide? He already appeared to like to show off in front of Jay so maybe he would even be happy if he could show himself now.

Just as for a second Jay was certain she heard something from the direction of one of the rooms and saw something white move behind the partly open door.

What the hell was that?

Molly, however, didn't allow her to properly look around as she snatched her arm and pushed her outside signing something Jay didn't understand, and then closed the door in front of her face.

Well, at least she's alright too.

She was minorly tempted to call Matt himself, but she rationally decided against it and rather checked the address Carmen gave her.

She threw it into the google maps and frowned a bit as she realized she expected a different location.

Weird.

Leo didn't inform Jay that Mikey was missing. He didn't want to worry her as she was still on edge about Kim, and he partly didn't want her to notice that something was wrong with him.

Donnie might have shown him support and assured him he wasn't the blame, but he couldn't do the same. He should have checked if Mikey really made it home. He came late because of staying with Jay and it might have caused his brother to be in harm's way. If it turned out to be true, he would never forgive himself, and he honestly didn't know what to do those last excruciating hours before sundown.

They were all waiting. From the looks of it, even Master Splinter would be joining them. It didn't help with Leo's guilt, but his personal feelings would have to wait as their priority would be Mikey.

Perhaps, he should tell Jay and get her to help them look, but at the same time, he couldn't help but feel bad for bringing her even more into this given what happened because of his affection for her.

'We have like ten minutes before the sun goes down,' accounted Donnie anxiously.

'We might as well go wait in the warehouse.'

They agreed and headed out with Master Splinter following them.

Raphael didn't look at him the whole way into the warehouse, and Leo didn't blame him.

'Two minutes,' accounted Donnie once they were up when all of the sudden, they heard a car drive by very quickly and stop.

Leo was standing the closest to the warehouse door, so he tried to look through the cracks, but the car was hidden for a few minutes before he heard it speed off.

'MIKEY!' he called and rushed out catching up to his brother who goofily waved at him.

Leo stopped right in front of him hearing the others follow. None of them seemed to care that they were risking exposure out in the open like that, 'Are you alright? What happened?'

Leo's palms went to Mikey's arms as he tried to look him up and down, but he genuinely didn't see any wounds or injuries. He seemed fine, more than fine with how he was smiling at them. The only odd thing Leo picked up on was that he smelled a bit human which meant he had to be somewhere with an actual human or where humans spend a lot of time. Well, one human.

'Damn it, Mikey, where were you?!' said Raph as he stopped next to his brothers.

Mikey for his part looked a bit sheepish as he scratched the back of his head, 'Uh, I lost track of time and well I ended up waiting until sundown. Heh.'

Leonardo frowned and shared a looked with Raphael who also wasn't buying it based on how he stepped closer narrowing his eyes, 'The hell are you blabbing about?'

'What about your phone?' asked Donnie.

Mikey pulled up his phone, 'Oopsie.'

Something was definitely not right, 'Mikey, what happened? Why did you turn off your phone?'

'Battery died.'

'That's not possible,' said Donnie and snatched Mikey's phone, 'HEY'

'I made sure you always have it charged and the battery is purposely extra powered, so you don't need to charge it every day,' said Donnie and with ease turned the phone on.

'Half a battery,' mumbled Donnie and all of them frowned at Mikey, who grimaced, 'Well, looks like I was wrong, now if you could-'

'Michelangelo, what is the meaning of this?' asked their father seriously, 'Your brothers and I had been worried about you.'

'Sorry, Master Splinter, I just lost track of time,' said Mikey genuinely looking guilty, but something didn't really sound right to Leo, 'But why did you turn off your phone? Why didn't you let us know?'

'I was hoping you wouldn't notice?' said Mikey and shrugged his shoulders stepping away.

'What the hell, Mikey?! Were you near or did you just write that to throw us off?' demanded Raph upset, and Leo didn't blame him as he was becoming irritated with their youngest brother as well, 'Mikey, did you?'

The turtle with the orange bandana rose his hands, 'What is this an interrogation? Where's innocent until proven guilty, ha?'

'Where's the truth, Mikey? What were you up to?' asked Donnie and crossed his arms, 'You knew I would track the phone. You turned it off on purpose, didn't you?'

Mikey didn't say anything and went Donnie went to unlock his phone and bolted for it.

'Hey!'

'Watch it!'

'Stop that!'

'MY SONS!'

They all stopped, and Mikey grabbed his phone before they looked over at their father who looked very much upset. It wasn't often that they saw him like this, but it left a lasting remark that made them all realize instantly that he was, 'Michelangelo, this is your final chance to come clean about what happened last night.'

Their all stole a glance to look at Mikey who looked very much torn before he shifted his gaze away from their father.

'Very well, you are forbidden from patrols and entering the surface-'

'But Master Splinter-'

'for a month.'

'But-'

'For a month, unless you wish for your punishment to continue longer.'

Mikey looked at Leonardo who really wished he could help but couldn't do more than shake his head, and so the youngest one lowered his gaze and shoulders, 'Yes, Master Splinter.'

'Now then, inside,' pointed their Master at the warehouse, 'The rest of you can go on patrol. Leonardo, a word.'

Mikey slowly started to walk inside, while Donnie shot both him and Leo a sympathetic look before he and Raph jumped to the nearest rooftop.

'Master, I'm really sorry about what happened, I promise it won't happen again,' said Leonardo immediately as he noticed Mikey was far enough so he wouldn't hear them.

His father put both his palms against his walking stick, 'My son, was this distraction caused by your time with Jay?'

Leo couldn't deny it and so he simply nodded. Perhaps, it would happen either way. It wasn't the first time, they split up and didn't meet one another for their return home, but he couldn't help but wonder if he hadn't gone to Jay's apartment yesterday if he would notice Mikey's absence sooner.

'I do not need to tell you, Leonardo, that one of the reasons why I didn't object to your relationship was because I believed trying to fight your feelings would only cloud your mind and serve as a greater distraction.'

That one hit Leo harder than it should because he understood where Master Splinter was going with it, and not for the first time did Leo wonder why was he so benevolent about his and Jay's relationship.

'I understand, Master Splinter. I won't allow Jay to distract me like that again,' assured him Leo, and his father watched him for a moment before he sighed, 'My son, I do not wish you to end your relationship or punish yourself for your feelings. I simply ask you to keep your mind straight of your responsibilities over your siblings and your role as the leader.'

'I know, Master Splinter. I will, I promise,' assured him Leo feeling a bit better knowing his father wouldn't try to force him to stop seeing Jay as at the beginning he thought it would be unlikely that he would, but now the ninja turtle knew it would be impossible.

Master Splinter nodded, 'Good. Now, have a safe night, and report to me when you get back.'

Leonardo nodded feeling that he got off too easy and that he should have been punished along with Mikey before he joined his brothers on the rooftop.

Raphael immediately stopped talking when he did, and Leo couldn't help but frown, 'I'm not grounded if that's what you were chatting about.'

The other brother shot him a look, 'Not everything is about you and barbie, Fearless.'

Raph then looked at Donnie again clearly with a look that was meant just for him before he glanced back at Leo, 'Can we split up, or will we be forced to hold hands like kindergarteners now?'

'We can splint up, but we have to make sure everyone is alright from now on. I will contact you during patrols, and you better answer or have a good reason why you didn't, got it?' asked Leonardo and regretted that he sounded too bossy which Raphael immediately took as a challenge, 'Yeah, is beating up drug dealers a good enough reason or do I make them write me a hall pass-'

'That's enough,' cut in Donnie, 'Let's just go and answer our phones. I will go west and try to check up on the hospital they took Kim into. Raph?'

'East,' he grumpily said and before anyone could say anything else he started to run toward the next roof.

Leo shook his head at his brother and then looked at the other one, 'I'll go north. Keep me posted.'

Donnie gave him a look, 'Aren't you going to go south like always-'

'Not tonight,' said Leo and gave him a look silently asking him not to dig into it, which Donnie took with a nod before he ran his own direction.

For the first time, when Leo felt his phone vibrate with a message during the patrol, he checked to see if Jay was alright, but didn't agree to come to see her that night.

It took Jay already an hour by bus to get to the address and with it still being winter the sun had just settled down. The neighborhood was a suburb, but not as fancy or in general decent as Jay would expect from somewhere the very much Christian family as the Sawyers would live.

She checked her phone, but there was no mistake, she was at the right place and house.

Her instinct started to act out again. This house was just…not Kimlike. Jay couldn't explain it, but the walls and no garden just didn't say Sawyers at all. Did Carmen give her the wrong address? If so where the hell was she?

Still, potentially wondering if she wasn't just too paranoid and overall tired from traveling the whole day and almost no lunch or dinner because of her nerves she decided to try it.

Once she knocked, she heard barking. Kim had a dog she knew as much, so maybe it was just her wild thoughts and the house was the right one after all.

However, then the door finally opened, and Jay's heart sank.

Shit

The Hispanic man looked her up and down and smirked. Definitely not a good sign. She could have tried to convince herself he was just some family friend who came to support the family as they went to the same church, but Jay wasn't naïve and she tended not to lie together.

Fucking Carmen if I get my hands on you, you will need a wig!

She tried to focus on her anger rather than fear, 'Sorry, I'm at the wrong house.'

'Oh come on now, pretty mama,' the man took a step closer to her, 'You're at the right crib. Don't be afraid. I know what you came for.'

Jay shook her head and firmly said, 'No, I'm good.'

She went to leave.

'Come on, come here, girl.'

'No,' she said again firmly knowing it probably wouldn't get the guy to back off since it rarely did and started to fast walk away. Unfortunately, not a second later she heard footsteps and cursed trying to run right before she felt the ground shake a bit and a low terrifying voice said, 'Yo, beat it.'

She stopped and turned to look at a seemingly dark corner clearly making out one of Leo's brothers, Raphael, and let out a relieved sigh.

The man that tried to follow her rushed back to his house sensing the danger which was lucky since at least there would be less violence for the night even if he deserved it no doubt.

'The hell are you doing here?' he asked and looked around not really coming out of the shadows, so Jay walked toward him, 'I thought I was going to Kim's place, but the queen bitch cheerleader set me up. You?'

He watched her for a moment before he looked away, 'Patrol. Come on I will walk you to a bus stop. Go straight home.'

Jay nodded and let Raph lead her, but she didn't buy it. Leo and her talked a lot and so she had a pretty decided idea where the guys usually patrolled, this neighborhood wasn't their common grounds unless they expected trouble and sure the guy looked weird and were probably some dealer, but he was doing it inside his home which the turtles didn't usually break into unless it was an emergency. Also, even if Jay wasn't sure why, for a while now apart from the fact that Raph didn't like her too much, she also had a feeling he felt guilty about something. Like he was hiding something and was desperate more than anything that she wouldn't figure it out. Not his brothers or father, but Jay herself.

She was certain he couldn't have followed her because it wasn't that long since the sun went down and not even Leo knew she went to this address. Whatever reason Raph had to be here it was important and it wasn't because of her.

'See ya, later,' he said and without really looking at her went back to the direction of the houses leaving Jay even more confused.

She thought about calling Leo, but if he was on patrol, she didn't want to bother him. She texted him asking if he could come over later when he was free and went on a bus closer home.

Not tonight. I will text you when I get home.

It caused the blond to re-read the message a few times, and a ball of anxiety grew inside her stomach. This would be the first night he wouldn't spend with her in a while. At the beginning of their relationship, when he hadn't told his family about her, he could only come to visit her a couple of times a week. Afterward, he came more frequently, but after the subway and her horrible fight with her mother, they were together almost every day. She practically spent the whole winter holidays with them and felt beyond overjoyed that she had.

Forcing herself to accept that it wasn't the end of the world, she got home not really sure what to do now. Nicole was still angry with her for things, Jay didn't know. Molly was acting suspicious and also trying not to allow Jay into her life. Kim was in the hospital without any way to contact her.

'Shit,' cursed Jay not really feeling better before she tossed herself on her bed.

She didn't really know what to do now. She was used to being alone before. She was only ever friends with Nicole growing up, so when they stopped being friends, she was alone. She didn't like it, but she accepted it. She was rather alone than with guys who later started to want to date her when she only view them as friends or girls who got all jealous of her and insecure. She just preferred to be alone than face the drama.

Now, however, she got to know what it felt like to have people around her. Good people. Now it was worse. It was worse to know and meet people she wanted to be with and actually tried to be with and who clearly didn't really care to be with her.

No

She was being dramatic. It was one day. One lousy day. Tomorrow, everything would be better. She was sure of it. Leo had a job, a duty to the city. He couldn't and shouldn't be with her 24/7 even if she would like that. She was being greedy and spoiled when they were in the sewers all day. She would just have to get used to their new routine.

Jay nodded to herself and closed her eyes. Yup, she wouldn't immediately get all negative and icy queen about it. She would just wait for things to get better tomorrow.

The mantra that everything would be better the next day, survived for Jay until the next night, and the night after that, but when Leo's texts and calls were so distant and there was no word about Kim. Nicole continued to skip school answer ignoring her, and Molly acted like nothing happened Jay's loneliness got the best of her.

When she heard a pair of large feet hit the fire escape behind her window, she felt her heart skip a beat for a second before she felt hollow again. Even before she went to look, she knew it wouldn't be Leo.

'Uh, hi?' she greeted Mikey confused. Apart from Leo, none of his brothers ever showed up at her place so to have one of them here now caused Jay to feel worried that something might have happened.

Mikey waved his hand at her as she opened the window.

'Did something happen? Are you guys alright?'

She wasn't sure what the protocol was but when he tried to ask him if he wanted to come in he shook his head, 'We're all fine. I'm here to clear a few things up.'

Jay blinked, 'Uh, alright?'

Mikey nodded and sighed, 'Look, a couple of nights ago, I messed up and got myself grounded.'

Jay nodded. Despite how little contact she had with Leo over the course of the past few days, he still told her this which probably meant that whatever Mikey was doing here wouldn't bring him any favors with their father.

'Long story short, Leo is blaming himself because he didn't check up on me, and he thinks he didn't do so because he was with you. He shouldn't have to check up on me. We're the same age, and I practically lied to him so really he shouldn't blame himself at all. But he's-'

'Leo,' finished Jay fondly. She wasn't sure what this was about, but she did know Leo well enough to know he would blame himself if his siblings got hurt or into trouble even if it would be their own fault. Leonardo would simply think he should have done more to help them and protect them. Jay loved him more because of that, but it made sense that he would.

What bothered Jay more now was the fact that she was partly to blame as well. She was distracting him. He joked about it a few times, but it might as well be true. He came to see her every chance he could, who was to say something bad wouldn't happen to his brothers when he wasn't around.

Her stomach dropped at the idea, and she looked at Mikey, 'Thank you for telling me.'

The ninja turtle eyed her for a second before he rolled his eyes, 'Jesus, Buffy, not you too.'

'Don't call me that,' said Jay automatically, and Mikey shook his head, 'Look, it was just a stupid coincidence. He wouldn't have found me anyway. I turned off my phone and everything.'

Jay narrowed her eyes a bit suspiciously, 'What were you doing anyway?'

'Doesn't matter,' said Mikey, and Jay doubted that was true, 'The important thing is that now you know, and I will take you back to the lair with me.'

Jay frowned, 'I doubt that it's a good idea. Look, if Leo has issues with me you shouldn't-'

'Oh, come on, I didn't make all this way and possibly doubled my sentence for nothing, Jay,' whined Mikey not pleased, 'If I have to I will kidnap you King Kong style so get dressed and let's go. Please.'

The blond watched him for a few moments, and although she was an only child, she started to understand what was the deal with the whole baby thing before she caved, 'Alright.'

'Yes!'

'But I'm not going into the lair. I will wait by the warehouse. If he wants to talk to me, he can,' said Jay firmly. She doubted anyone would like an ambush, especially if they believed their relationship was a distraction like Leo did.

Mikey seemed to accept his victory either way and after she got her dressed again, he got her to the warehouse.

Leo knew right away Mikey was up to no good. He showed up out of nowhere in the tunnel and stalked him all through the lair until Leo gave in and asked what was going on.

He didn't mean to be grumpy, but given that he hadn't seen Jay for days now and still felt guilty about Mikey and Master Splinter, it was all getting on his nerves.

Mikey cleared his throat as if he was about to make a speach and said, 'Bro, you have been bringing the mood down of the whole place. And given all the stuff that went down here lately, that's saying a lot. You have to talk to Jay about why you're being a dick to her.'

'I'm not being a dick to Jay, and I don't feel like talking about it, Mikey.'

'Well, you kinda of don't have a choice, big bro,' said Mikey with a look that Leo instantly knew meant trouble and forced him to ask worriedly, 'Mikey, what did you do?'

His brother grinned at him, 'You should go to the warehouse. Someone's waiting for you.'

Leonardo shook his head at him, 'You're an idiot. You shouldn't have brought her here.'

'No and no. Please, Leo, just go talk to her like a turtle and not mope around like a pussy.'

Leo tossed his hands at his younger brother not in the mood for his comebacks and rather just went to the surface. He felt anxious. It was a while since he and Jay hadn't seen one another for such a long time, and now Jay knew he was avoiding her even if he was certain she knew it from the start.

The bottled-up anxiety and worries melted when he saw standing near the empty boxes that covered their exit looking rather down.

'Hi,' he said and caused her to look up.

Gosh, I've missed you so much.

She smiled upon hearing his thoughts and came toward him putting her palms against his cheeks before she pulled him down so they could press their foreheads against each other.

I missed you more.

His arms snuck around her waists pulling her closer to him.

Impossible.

She chuckled and closed her eyes as they remained standing there for a moment. He felt so damn it was only then he properly realized how shitty he felt before.

'Hey, come with me. I will show you something,' he said suddenly a plan forming inside his mind. Mikey wasn't wrong. (For once). They really needed to talk, and with Raph acting like a jerk again and Leo's guilt whenever he was around Master Splinter, he felt he shouldn't take Jay to their lair. At least not their current one.

'Okay,' said Jay as she looked up at him, her blue eyes sparkling with curiosity which made him smile a bit more before he took her hand and led her down to the sewer.

It took them a while, and some tunnels were tricky, but for a ninja turtle, it wasn't a problem at all to get one tiny blond through them.

'Here we are,' he said once they found themselves in an old unused station, they used to call home. This was back when they were younger before a small earthquake made this place uninhabitable, and they searched the tunnels until they found their current home.

This place was smaller and didn't have rooms forcing the brothers and their father back then to share. After they moved they took most of the stuff that wasn't damaged, but some things like an old couch remained.

Leo thought of this and some childhood memories knowing Jay could hear his thoughts and understand.

She offered him a bright smile and squeezed his hand, 'It looks like you had a lot of fun here.'

Leo grinned, 'Tons. We were four male turtles after all.'

The blonde nodded before she glanced at the ground, 'Candles?'

'What?' asked Leo, but when he looked around, he realized she was right. There were a few candles around as if someone had been here not so long ago.

Leo frowned and sniffled the air a bit, 'Huh.'

An image of his brother with a temper popped into his mind, and Jay also gave out surprising thoughts about Raph being around. Then again, he had been acting weird lately, and perhaps this was where he went when he mysterious vanished at times.

Still, the further they walked, Leo also caught the scent of someone else which made him pause.

'So Raph has a girlfriend too?' asked Jay out loud, 'It might explain why is he so weird lately.'

Her mind supplied something about houses where he was patrolling a couple of days ago.

It wasn't a total surprise. Leo had a feeling there was someone involved sooner although he wasn't sure. In all honesty, he would be happy if his brother found someone. He wished for all of his brothers to experience what he did with Jay of course. But it really felt like Raph had, and it made him better until it didn't.

'Looks, like they were prepared,' said Jay and grabbed something from the couch showing it to Leo, who made a disgusted grimace. It was a pink condom which would have been funny given how much Raph hated the color if it didn't mean what Leo would rather not think about what it meant.

'If they did, then not here,' he said finding some comfort in it. Growing up with four horny brothers, they were no strangers to self-love and the very profound smell of it. Luckily, for his own sanity, Leo didn't catch anything like that here. So whatever Raph planned to do here with his secret girl, clearly didn't happen.

Jay walked over to the other side couch and sat down, 'Mikey told me what happened.'

Leo followed and sat next to her, 'I know.'

The blonde played with the zipper on her winter jacket for a moment before she finally pulled it down. Her mind was racing too fast for Leo to properly hear her thoughts, but he knew she would talk to him once she would settle her thoughts.

'I won't bother trying to tell you it wasn't your fault, or you shouldn't feel guilty about it,' she said and looked at him with a small smile across her face, 'I know you too well.'

He smiled back at her and allowed her to finish.

'If you need us to make some distance that's alright too. I won't throw a fit or complicate it. Even if I don't like the idea,' she frowned a bit, 'But I will support you no matter what. I just want you to talk to me. Be honest with me.'

Leo nodded and took a hold of her hand again, 'I'm sorry. I pushed you away, and I shouldn't have. I just got into my own head, and I couldn't get out. I promise, next time, I will tell you what's going on, and I won't try to cut you off.'

She offered him a smile, and he knew they would be alright.

His palm pressed against the back of her neck, and he looked into her eyes thinking about their shared memories knowing she would be able to read their emotions of out of them, 'I don't want distance, Jay.'

Her own thoughts were warm as she was obviously happy about it, 'Good.'

They leaned toward each other and kissed. Once again, Leo found how wrong he was for pushing Jay away and how much he missed her, in the taste of her lips against his. She still tasted the same. Sweet and magical. Just like she did the first time they shared a kiss in someone's kitchen the first time they met.

Jay's thoughts shifted, and Leo recognized she was thinking about their first kiss as well before he sensed a wave of arousal starting inside the blonde mimicking his own.

Her arms went around his neck pulling him closer and deepening the kiss by allowing their tongues to meet. The air around them felt charged now as they seemed to catch up on what they lost those days they were apart. It all felt so electric, it was easy to get lost inside the moment, and not for the first time since Leo met Jay, he wished he would.

With their mouths and tongues continuing their exploration, Jay moved closer until she ended up on his legs. Her arms now slid toward his chest where she gently pressed her palms against his skin the thoughts of arousal and love still clear inside her mind.

Leo's own hands moved to her back enjoying the new position and keeping as close as he could before she broke the kiss.

With ease, Jay pulled the winter jacket off her shoulders and tossed it on the ground. Her lips were swollen red and her eyes sparkled as she let out a bit embarrassed giggle.

'What?' he asked smiling while thinking she was adorable.

The blond stroke his face her thoughts wandering again before she bit her lip and focused on one specific thought.

Leo's hands paused in their movements on her back as he made sure to have a clear look of her face.

Are you sure?

Yes.

Is it because we found a-

It's because I love you, and I really missed you.

They kept looking at one another for a while before Jay asked out loud, 'But only if you want to…it's not to pressure you or lock you to me or anything like that. I just…'

'I love too, Jay,' he assured her and brushed a few of her golden locks to the side away from her eyes.

His hands moved to her waist as he gathered his own thoughts.

It wasn't like he hadn't thought about it. He had more than he was proud of. He was a teenager, and Jay was stunning, and things just happened inside his mind and body even despite his stone strong self-control. But for all of that to become a reality was a bit worrisome.

'I'm not sure…you know there's not a sex education for mutant turtle,' he said, and she giggled leaning closer against him only adding to the problem at hand.

'Well, I'm a beginner too,' she confessed even if she didn't need to because Leo already knew, 'But I feel pretty confident that if we put our minds and enthusiasm into it, we could work something out.'

He knew he was blushing, but he still found some courage to say, 'If you say so.'

'I do,' she assured him and looked like she wanted to kiss him again but waited.

His eyes wandered a bit from her face then over her chest and lower feeling even more thrill and temperature raising as he now had an image of how they looked like this, 'Okay, let's try something.'

Jay nodded and leaned to kiss him, but he broke the kiss too soon, 'But promise me to tell me if something is wrong.'

'Nothing will be wrong-'

'Jay-'

'I promise,' she said coyly before she kissed him again not really making it clear what she was promising too, but Leo let it slide for now convincing himself he would be able to read her mind if something was wrong.

They carried on kissing and exploring each other mouths, and immediately Jay could tell it was different. Their touches felt more urgent and electric starting her even more than she already was. It was surreal.

Sex wasn't something Jay really thought about until Leo. Growing up the way she had knowing inside and out just how shitty men could be. It all felt disgusting if she was being honest. For a while, she even considered if she wasn't asexual given that everything about well men repelled her to a point.

However, from the moment, she and Leo met in Nicole's house, she couldn't help but feel a connection. For the first time since they kissed, she felt drawn to such displays of affection and genuinely felt she wanted them and more.

Jay broke the kiss to pull her white sweater off her and toss it on top of the jacket that was on the ground.

'No urge to fold it,' joked Leo a bit breathless, and Jay grinned at him, 'I have more pressing matters at hand.'

She reached for her undershirt and carefully pulled it off as well. A chill hit her as now her upper body was left there only in a bra, but she soldiered through it as she reached for the mechanism of her bra and unhooked it.

Feeling a bit awkward as she suspected everyone felt the first time, she simply snatched the underwear and tossed it on the pile below the old couch while keeping her hands from trying to cover herself.

Beautiful

She didn't roll her eyes at the compliment, just looked at Leo and smile at the adoring look across his face as he took her in.

Biting her lip, she reached for his hands and guided them toward her, 'Touch me.'

Wordlessly, he did. He pulled his hands away first and blew some hot air on them before he put them against her waist again. It was still cold, but not as bad as she would have expected, and despite how aroused she was she couldn't help but feel fondness over the fact that he had thought of something like that just so she wouldn't feel as cold.

His touch was slow, exploring, and gentle as he moved his palms and fingers across her skin before his hands covered her breast.

He swallowed, and Jay caught the idea that formed in his mind and nodded.

When he pulled her closer to him, she closed her eyes feeling the taste of his lips against her throat, and let out a soft moan due to the sensation of his finger moving against her nipple.

It felt so good. Jay knew it would, but it still was incomparable to fantasize about something and actually get to feel it on your own skin.

Leo carried on his journey with his lips from her throat to her other nipple before he took a taste of it causing Jay's head to spin.

Again

She felt him lean away and let out a confused whimper before she felt herself being carefully laid down on the touch.

When she opened her blue eyes, Leo was on top of her with a somewhat serious look on his face shaking a bit.

She pulled him closer to her again and closed her eyes as they kissed for a moment before he returned to her chest. It was all heavenly, and the blonde let herself get carried by the sensation as long as she could before it wasn't enough anymore, and she started to pull at him to look at her again.

More?

More!

She saw him swallow once again looking unsure yet serious all the same and then nod.

She reached for her jeans and feeling charged from their touches and kisses she pulled them off with ease and without a single worry before they followed her other clothes on the pile on the ground.

Leo's eyes focused on her legs for a while before they slowly moved higher, and he nervously licked his lips.

Jay gasped as it occurred to her that it was one of the hottest things she has ever seen.

He must have heard her thoughts because he let out a nervous chuckle and went to her face again to kiss her, 'I love you.'

'I love you too.'

He reached for her, but she stopped him, and his eyes searched her face again to see what was wrong.

'Show me how to touch you too,' she said and smiled a bit feeling she must have been as red as he was, 'Since there's no book on mutant turtle anatomy and all.'

He nodded and with his hands shaking which Jay found simply all too lovable, he pulled off most of his gear now looking completely naked as well. Much like her own, he tossed his toward the ground.

His breathing was anything but shallow as he took her hand in his and carefully guided it toward him.

He gasped a bit when Jay's fingers slowly and tenderly touched him, but he released her palm making her know she could do whatever she wanted.

The idea thrilled her, and she got even more aroused as she took a hold of him inside her palm and saw the way Leo's muscles flexed. It felt like she was in the position of power as someone as big and strong as Leo could surrender to her like that because of a simple touch.

'Leo,' she breathed out as she felt like panting the emotions and sensations getting the better of her.

His blue eyes met hers before he understood and reached for her.

They kissed again this time even more urgently and breathlessly while his own fingers reached toward her center through her underwear.

Their moans broke their kiss as they both started to touch one another at the same time at their most sensitive places. It was hard to keep an even pace on moving her palm through him as he teased her beyond belief by circling her clit through her underwear.

It was bizarre. It felt like they were connected even more than before. Not just by sharing loneliness, or their love, or reading each other's minds, but something more.

'Jay,' Leo moaned groaning as Jay felt something hot spread across her palm just as she felt her eyes roll into the back of her head from the pressure of his fingers on her clit. The sensation was euphoric, and it took everything inside Jay to finally get down from the high.

'S-sorry,' said Leo and ripped a piece of the cushion from the couch to wipe her hand carefully dedicating a moment to each finger.

Jay giggled and sat up pulling him for a kiss.

Don't be that was perfect.

He shook his head, but he smiled, nevertheless, and relaxed a bit.

He kissed her back less passionately, but still with enough heat to set her on fire again if he continued.

When they broke the kiss the breath, Jay reached for her now-soaked panties and finally pulled them off her, 'Can we try…inside?'

He looked at her center and for a ridiculous moment, the blonde felt self-aware before he sensed the road of her thoughts and kissed her, this time far more tenderly, 'I think…I think I should stretch you first.'

Jay didn't dare to giggle at how red and embarrassed Leo looked when he said it, and instead nodded laying down.

She wasn't sure how she imagined, Leo would go about it, but it definitely wasn't with him taking her leg and setting it across his shoulder where he pressed a soft kiss on her ankle. She would have to reconsider what was the hottest thing she ever saw as he met her gaze right before he pushed his finger inside her. He moved it slowly at first, but with every movement came the filthy sound of her wetness that seemed to fuel him because he speeded up and then after a while added another finger and then another.

Jay was sure her lip was bleeding from how hard she was biting it and the palm that took hold of the couch was getting a cramp from how hard she was gripping it, but she didn't care. The sensation, Leo was creating inside her was too damn good to care about anything else. Every few minutes she felt like she was dying like a start and coming back to life.

At one point, she heard Leo let out something between and a groan and a whimper and set her mind straight enough to ask, 'What's wrong?'

He didn't answer, but she understood his thoughts enough to realize watching her come like this along with her moans and cries made him come as well.

The idea excited her even more, and she reached for him kissing him and urging him to lay on top of her.

I'm ready….I just…please.

Her thoughts were chaotic, but she knew Leo would make sense of them.

He looked around until he found the pink condom Jay found earlier. She wondered if she would have to help him open and put it on, but Leo was always a quick study and apparently great at everything. Even things he tried out for the first time.

As he put the condom on, it occurred to Jay that he still had his mask on, and without hesitation, she reached for it and undid it.

'Look at that,' she grinned, 'Such a handsome turtle.'

He rolled his eyes at her but chuckled making Jay's heart ring like a small bell adoringly.

He broke the kiss to look at her one more time before he nodded and took a hold of her thighs.

He spread her as wide as he could bending the back of her knees on top of his elbows before she felt him at her entrance.

'Leo, please,' she begged feeling it might be her death if he didn't put himself inside her soon.

He pushed himself as slowly as he could. Jay could tell it from his thoughts and how badly he shook. It was clear he wanted to be primal and do so swiftly, but held himself back with the self-control, he was known for.

Once he was inside, Jay wasn't sure if fully or not, it felt uncomfortable, but at the same time hot. She felt full, and it was strange to never feel such a way before and then to feel so much and love it.

'J-jay-'

'I'm okay,' she whispered back and leaned closer to him causing friction that made them both moan, 'I think-yeah.'

He nodded but still didn't move to allow her to do it herself a few times starting the sensation her body was now familiar with as Leo gave it to her a few times now.

'Leo,' she managed to say, and he nodded again this time moving with her in a painfully slow way that was driving her insane. She knew she had to go slow, but it was really hard to remember why since every time they sway the right way she felt that spark of pleasure shoot through her right before it was gone again.

Leonardo, please.

He growled in an animalish way before he speeded up causing Jay to groan, 'Y-yes.'

It still wasn't enough. Even as they carried on faster and faster chasing the sensation closer and closer, Jay still felt like it wasn't enough to try hard and more.

Leo kissed her biting against her lips, and she kissed him back just as enthusiastically getting lost in the moment just moving with him toward their beautiful end.

Their kiss broke, and their eyes opened looking at one another while Leo continued to thrust and Jay met him halfway matching his rhythm perfectly. Somewhere through the fog of desire, it occurred to Jay it wasn't sex. It didn't feel like sex at least. Not by the concept they knew and used in the world. It felt like something else. Something spiritual. Something that connected them beyond their bodies, loneliness, love, and minds. It felt like they weren't having sex, but like they were-

Making love

Jay smiled at their shared thoughts and saw him do the same right before they finally felt the pressure inside them get the best of them with cries, they both caught up to the sensation that shot them through the roof of pure bliss.

When she came down, Jay found Leo panting against her neck slowly coming back as well.

Once he did, he marked a spot there with a teeth-kiss and leaned up to look at her.

His eyes were so soft and undone, that it made Jay smile again, and he smiled back at her, 'I love you.'

I love you too.

Afterward, they, they put on their clothes and gear again, and they lay like that for a while drowning in the feeling of love and the aftermath of their lovemaking. It was so peaceful, that Jay never wanted to move again.

You're going to have to.

Why? I could just live here forever.

Doubt that.

Careful, I'm stubborn enough to take you up on that challenge, Leonardo.

He pulled her closer and kissed her hair.

She knew she couldn't really stay. She needed to finish school for once and find out what happened with Kim. But it was nice to pretend.

Once they finally got up, Leo took her to their lair. It seemed he felt better too as he didn't look guilty when they came to talk a bit with Master Splinter who for his part didn't say anything to Jay or him. Mikey was still grounded though.

Since Donnie was asleep, Jay decided she would come back after dark again to talk about Kim.

'Be careful,' said Leo as he escorted her to the warehouse.

She kissed his cheek, 'Always. I will text you when I get home.'

He nodded and let her go.

Jay felt on cloud nine throughout the whole journey home and even then. Still wired from what happened, it took her a while to fall asleep mostly convincing herself she needed to get a few hours before she would go back to the lair.

She felt like giggling every time she recalled how she and Leo made love and for the first time in days genuinely felt happy and carefree.

The sound of knocking against glass woke her up though.

The world spinning and thinking it must have been Leo, she somehow got to the window only to blink shocked, 'Uh, Raph?'

She opened the window and stepped aside as the large turtle, the second one today that wasn't Leo, got inside carrying an unconscious Nicole.

'W-what the- Is she okay?' asked Jay as panic kicked in overseeing her friend in such a state, but Raph just nodded, 'Don't worry about it, she's just high and drunk. It's not safe out right now.'

As he said it, Jay did hear noises and screaming coming from before, 'What's happening?'

'A riot,' said Raph and set Nicole on the bed very carefully in Jay's opinion.

'W-wait Raph-'

He was gone before Jay could finish her question.
