Spinning around unbalanced I giggled waving my arms in the air wildly seeing the person who called my name "Bobby!" Jumping forward I grabbed Bobby's hand and pulled him over to the guys taking no notice of the look he was giving me.
"Guys this is my new best friend Bobby" I announced to everyone as Bobby looked at me in surprise "Are you drunk, Kat?" pinching my fingers together I giggled again not caring about how stupid I looked right now "Mayyyybe a little."
Bobby glanced between the guys and me wearily before putting his hand on my arm carefully "Come on Kat; you're coming with me" Bobby stated trying to convince me to leave with him.
"Hey!" I shouted pulling my arm back dropping the whiskey bottle I held in my hand causing it to shatter "Kat let's go" Bobby begged as Kyle walked over and pulled me closer to him by my waist.
The atmosphere between all of us changed drastically "I don't think she wants to go with you" Bobby gritted his teeth looking at Kyle angrily before glancing back at me his eyes now pleading "Please Kat" he whispered softly.
Bobby stepped forward again with his hand out for me to take when Kyle pushed him away from me firmly "Back off man!" Kyle shouted as Bobby looked ready to defend himself.
Kyle had no idea what he was getting into with Bobby, but I also knew I couldn't let Bobby get into a fight over my stupidity "Step off kid or else you won't be leaving with teeth."
Turning to Kyle, I pushed him back away from Bobby "Don't talk to him like that asshole" I hissed picking up my backpack walking over to Bobby who threw his arm over my shoulder protectively.
Suddenly my arm was grabbed, and I stumbled into Kyle's chest "You're not going anywhere" He shouted in my face as the other guys flanked him pulling back my fist I swung it forward punching Kyle in the nose making him fall to his knees.
"Ouch!" I yelled holding my fist to my chest as Bobby pulled me to where his bike was parked as Kyle shouted at us his face covered in blood, but he didn't move from the ground.
Still cradling my injured hand, I watched as Bobby jumped on the bike and motioned me to get on in front of him "I'm supposed to go on the back" I giggled to him disorientated as the rain continued to pour on us.
Bobby just smiled softly before holding onto my waist and helping me onto the bike "Yeah, but that's when I can trust you to hold on" he told me jokingly before speeding off with me sobering up every second of the way.
Realizing I would have to tell him what happened, I mumbled to myself "great" I knew the guys didn't like my brother and now I had to tell them he was the reason I ran from home.
I had a feeling it wasn't going to help with their hatred towards my twin.
Stopping outside some houses Bobby got off the bike watching me carefully as I turned, so my feet were dangling over the side of the bike instead of straddling it "What were you doing with them, Kat?" Bobby question gently but I knew he was mad inside.
I sniffed as I remembered my night rubbing my face I sighed "I left home" Bobby looked at me confused and concerned "What do you mean you left home?".
"Someone hurt Daniel bad on the way home after we had an argument and he told our mom that I wasn't there and she blew up on me" I explained to Bobby with fresh tears rolling down my face.
Bobby just watched me looking guilty "She just kept screaming at me and saying such horrible things," I said feeling the pain all over again as Bobby wrapped his arms around me.
Laying my head on Bobby's shoulder, I sighed feeling tears rolling down my cheeks "Am I really that horrible?" Bobby stared at me shocked before shaking his head profusely "No you're great."
I laughed and pulled myself away; he was probably the only one who thought that "You can trust me we're best friends remember" he told me mockingly with a smile as he playfully nudged my shoulder.
Hearing a door open I looked up to see Dutch at the door "Bobby!" he shouted sounding happy before seeing me "Kat?" the door opened wider this time before the rest of the Cobra Kai saw us and began to walk to us.
"Are you having a party" Bobby half nodded watching as I quickly wiped the tears from my face I can't believe I cried in front of Bobby, I wasn't usually a crier.
The rest of the Cobra Kai met us at the bike confusion written all over their faces "Kat? What are you doing here?" Johnny frowned placing his arms around me as I hugged myself to him.
"And why do you smell like vodka?" gasping I looked up at him happily "Vodka! Do you have any?" Johnny smiled at me as If I had just said the cutest thing.
Johnny glanced back at Bobby as I played with a thread on his shirt "What happened man?" Bobby peered at me sadly before shaking his head.
"I'm homeless" I giddily called out throwing my arms in the air drunkenly "I left" I hiccuped telling them all about Daniel and the fight he, me and our Ma got into "And then she told me not to come back."
They all look pissed off as Johnny pulled me towards him and I tried not to let any tears fall again, "And my hand hurts" I whimpered as Bobby laughed behind me "Definitely a killer right hook" he said laughing telling the boys about Kyle.
"What am I going to do with you" Johnny joked smiling at widely at me when I looked up at him "beer?" the guys laughed in agreement as Johnny helps me off Bobby's bike.
Dutch picks up my bag as I'm led into Johnny's house "Bobby call around let's give Kat a real party" Tommy whooped as he and the other guys went on an alcohol and snack run leaving just Johnny and me.
Wrapping my arms around my wet clothes I could feel his gaze on me "I'm sorry" looking up at him I frowned puzzled "You didn't do anything wrong" Johnny opened his mouth before closing it again like he was trying to find the right thing to say.
"You should get out of those wet clothes" my face lit up red when Johnny realized what he just said "I didn't mean it like that" he chuckled looking a little flustered, it was nice knowing I could ruffle his usual confidant feathers.
Taking my hand, Johnny led me upstairs and opened the door to what I'm guessing is his room "Throw your clothes in there" He nodding to a basket in the corner of the room.
Quickly using Johnny's shower, I washed away any signs of the night I had and made myself into Kat again, the tough bitch who lives without a care, changing into my spare clothes I dried my hair and put on some makeup I had brought with me.
Sighing I looked at my reflection frowning was I really like my dad? A good for nothing bully and loser "Kat?" Opening the bathroom door, I saw a concerned Johnny on the other side.
"Hey" I smiled at him noticing how great he looked and smelled, he had changed while I was in the shower.
Wrapping myself into his arms again I sighed happily when he didn't push me away but hugged me tighter "Thanks for all of this" I told him sincerely pulling back a little to face him.
Johnny moved my hair out my face silently before leaning down to kiss me, holding him closer to me I deepened this kiss as Johnny picked me up and sat me on the counter, his hands on my thighs.
Music started to play from downstairs, and I could hear cheerful voices coming into the house, I guess the party was starting without us.
Breaking the kiss, I leaned my forehead against Johnny's smiling brightly "Well now I feel a lot better" Johnny smiled widely at me before helping me off the counter and walking out of his room hand in hand.
Looking over the railing and down into Johnny's 'mansion' house, I gasped at the sight of all the people, how had the guys got so many people here on such short notice?
"Ready for this?" Johnny leaned down and put his chin on my shoulders before kissing my neck playfully "Let's party" I squealed when Johnny threw me over his shoulder carrying down the stairs "Kat!" a lot of people I noticed from school cheered holding up their beers to me in greeting.
I waved quickly as Johnny placed me down by Bobby who was laughing with the guys "So madam what can I get you" Johnny urged mock bowing to me "Surprise me" the boys all stopped silent in what looked like surprise.
Dutch threw an arm over my shoulder a grin plastered on his face "I knew I liked you" laughing I picked up the cup Johnny placed in front of me "Here you go, killer."
Picking up the cup I drank some before smirking "It's great, thanks" glancing over to where everyone was dancing I noticed Barbara and Susan waving to me.
Taking another sip from the cup, I jumped from the counter and kissed Johnny before running off to dance with the girls forgetting all about Daniel and my mom.
Watching as his girl dance happily with her friends Johnny smiled drinking some of his beer "So what do we do about him?" Dutch asked darkly as he too looked over at Kat.
"Who?" Johnny questioned glancing at his angry friend, which wasn't unusual for him "Danielle" Dutch hissed he hated his new friend's brother and wanted him to suffer "She was miserable man," Bobby stated as he too drank his beer nodding towards Kat.
"Rough having your only family desert you like that" Jimmy muttered making the others nod in agreement.
Johnny felt the anger course through him he didn't have a great family dynamic himself with an absentee father, workaholic mother and a harsh step-father but he can always count on having a roof over his head and food in his stomach.
Tightening his jaw, he growled lowly "maybe he needs to be taught a lesson" Tommy let out a shrill laugh as the 5 hit their cups together in a cheers motion before joining the party.
