(Violet's Pov)
They tied me up on the porch as they made plans to what they were going to do with the farm, I just kept glaring at them, and when I wasn't doing that I was looking over to Mary's grave.
"I'm sorry." I heard and I would glare at the woman who said it.
"You don't care, you didn't stop anything." I tell her and she would look away and go back to work as all the others did. No one cared that a little girl was killed, no one cares about kids being killed.
"Seems like my little Flower isn't to happy." I heard and looked up to Joan who then kneeled in front of me and I glared at her as I tried to fight from my restraints to grab her.
"You fucking bitch, I'll kill you, I'll fucking kill you and everyone here." I tell her and she laughed.
"Oh, but you won't they're your family, your real family, you wouldn't hurt them." She says and I glared at her.
"You think I won't?" I tell her and she glared back to me as I watched her get up.
"I could teach you a lesson like last time." She says and I looked to her.
"I don't fucking care… I don't fucking care what you do." I tell her and she smirked at me.
"The brat deserved it." She says as she walked away.
"NO SHE DIDN'T SHE WAS AN INNOCENT CHILD, AND YOU ALL LET HER GET KILLED, YOU FUCKERS WE NEVER DID THAT IN THE OLD COMMUNITY, WE WEEN'T MONSTERS!" I yelled as she walked away and I cried some more as I looked to the grave.
"Oh, god." I said as I coughed more looked down.
"Clem… I'm so sorry, Christa… please forgive me." I say quietly to myself as I tried to get the rope off as best as I could.
"Please." I mumbled as I looked up to see them working on the solar panels.
"Shit, can't get this damn thing to work." Delta said as he helped the others with it and I looked at the panel to see it covered with some leaves and they had broken a panel to get into the wrong section of the broken one. I watched as they would go in and out of the house taking things out.
"Shit was crazy the last time we came here, blew this little black boy's brains out." A man said.
"Tennessee." I said.
"Hu?"
"That boy has a name and it's Tennessee you fucking idiot." I tell him.
"Why you little brat." He said as he came up to me and kicked me. After a few hits he was pulled back and I laughed a bit as I felt blood pour from my nose.
"The fuck is so funny?" He says pissed and I looked to him.
"You kick like a fucking girl." I say, which really pissed him off.
"I don't care if you're Joans pet or whatever." He says as he tried to kick me again but we hear a shot go off and I looked to see Diana and she looked to the man.
"You kill her and Joan will have your damn head, now back off, seriously getting pissed off just because she said the boy's name to you." She said and they back off and Diana comes over to me with a med kit and I glared at her.
"Don't give me that look, you're lucky to even be alive." She said to me and I looked as she put a clean rag to my face.
"I never wanted to be alive… after all the shit I went through…" I say and stay silent.
"I… I can't say I know-."
"That you know what I'm going through?" I asked and she looked at me.
"No, you fucking can't, you never have and never will, while my daughter is now fucking dead…. Killed by someone who didn't even know her name…." I tell her and she looked to me.
"I…I'm so sorry Violet."
"No you aren't, none of you are… we never hurt kids that's the one thing we had to keep people sane… now look at you, you all don't care if one man shoots a kid or even fifty…." I say and she looked to me as she patched me up a bit and I looked to her.
"I didn't think she would really allow it." She says to me.
"Sure… doesn't make things any better though, a child is dead, my brother is dead, my son saw his own siter get shot… his own family." I say and look down to my lap as I cough some more blood and take a deep breath.
"Shit, you might have a punctured lung." She says.
"Who cares?... I didn't want help." I mumbled as I kept looking at my lap.
"I…" She kept silent.
"She was so looking forward to watching cartoons for the first time…. She wanted to read more books, she… she just wanted to be a kid… and you all took that away from her." I say and I watched as Diana left and I just kept to myself at this point. It wasn't long till I heard someone else come up on the porch and I looked up to see Delta and a few others as they untied my restraints and pulled me over to the solar panels and I glared at it.
"Fix it." I heard but I just glared at it.
"I said fix it." The same voice said as he slammed my head onto the panel keeping it there and I groaned in pain.
"F-Fuck." I fell to my knees as he let me go.
"Fix the damn thing." He said and I just kept looking at it. I heard a truck come by and looked at it but was then forced to look at the broken panel.
"Don't look at that and fix the fucking thing." The man said and I don't I won't fix anything for these people.
"Fucking ungrateful."
"Stop it… Violet." I heard and looked to see Juliet as she looked back to me.
"She isn't fixing the damn thing." He said.
"Will you fucking stop it, she's injured, she's scared." Juliet said.
"I'm not fucking scared." I tell her as I glared at her.
"I'm not, will I ever fucking be scared." I tell her and she looked to me. She gave me a soft look, she gave me pity and I fucking hated it, I fucking hated that look she gave me. She got to my level and I glared at her more as she looked to me.
"We just need you to fix this." She says calmly.
"Why so you fuckers can take my other home…." I tell her.
"We didn't."
"You did…. Everyone takes my home from me…. Everyone killed my family." I say to her and I hear laughing.
"This bitch, you don't know what it's like to have a home taken." He said and I looked to him.
"I use to live with all of you… I helped all of you when you needed it…. I wasn't Joan…. Fuck." I say and lean my head on the panel and shook my head.
"I… I." I tried to speak but I couldn't get the words out as I took some deep breaths like Clem taught me.
"One… two… three." I muttered as I counted like AJ taught me.
"Shut the fuck up." I heard and then a swift kick to my gut was made and I fall back and looked to the sky. I saw the clouds passing by and I closed my eyes a bit as I tried to calm down.
"Stop she's having a panic attack." I heard and felt a hand on my shoulder keeping me to the ground. I look up and see Joan's face and I quickly move as I hit them.
"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME I'M NOT YOURS!" I yelled as I thrashed around and looked at Joan.
"I'LL FUCKING CUT YOU, I'LL FUCKING LEAVE MY NAME ON YOU LIKE YOU DID TO ME, YOU BITCH!" I yelled more as I attacked the woman but was then pulled back.
"I'LL DO TO YOU WHAT YOU DID TO ME!" I yelled more as I tried to attack Joan.
"What is going on here?" I heard and looked to see Joan and I looked back to see Juliet and then back to Joan.
"She went fucking crazy." I heard and looked around more as I was breathing harder and faster as I looked around more and more. I saw many things, I saw Tenn, Mary, Marlon, Brody, everyone I knew.
"YOU FUCKERS!" I yell again as I glared at them.
"MONSTERS ALL OF YOU, ALL ADULTS WERE MONSTERS, YOU LET KIDS DIE, YOU ABANDOND US WHEN WE NEEDED YOU, NO ONE CARES UNLESS YOU DO FOR THEM, THEY'LL SLAUGHTER US LIKE PIGS!" I yelled at all of them as they held me back.
"Jesus fuck what is wrong with her?" I hear Delta say.
"FUCK YOU!" I yelled to him and they all looked at me as I tried to calm down and I coughed some more as more blood came out.
"Fuck… fuck…." I say as I tried to calm down but I couldn't.
"Get her inside, we can fix the panel later." I heard as I felt myself being picked up and dragged back into the farm house. I was sat on the couch and I saw the blood on the floor. Tenn and Mary's blood.
"Fuck… why not me?" I asked myself.
"Violet calm down." I heard but I didn't listen, I couldn't listen. It was a long while before I finally did calm down and I just stared at the old blood on the floor.
"What happened?" I heard and looked up to see Kelly as she came up to me.
"She just started to flip out, said she would carve her name in Juliet." Delta said.
"Honey go out, I'll talk with her." Kelly says and he nods as him and the others leave and I look to her.
"Violet." She says and I say nothing to her.
"Violet I'm so sorry."
"Everyone keeps saying they are but they aren't, you aren't, Joan isn't, no one is… so stop the theatrics and leave me alone." I tell her and she looked to me and stays.
"I said leave me alone." I tell her again but she just stays and I look away and lean back a bit on the couch.
"Violet…. I can't say that things will get better."
"Of fucking course, you're trying to pull this sympathetic bullshit." I say and I lean in front of her and point to her with the rope still around my wrists as I glare at her.
"Don't try and pull that moral bullshit with me, I'm sick and fucking tired of it coming from people, people like you, and your husband… fucking telling me that this is basically my fault… I didn't fucking pull the trigger to kill MY DAUGHTER!" I yelled the last part to her and she looked at me.
"MY DAUGHTER IS DEAD; I DIDN'T KILL HER I WAS GETTING BEATEN WITH A FUCKING BAT…. And of course, she was going to cry…. All kids do when their parents are hurt…. But she didn't have to die just for showing emotion…. she didn't have to die for that." I tell her as I lean back and look at my hands. The rope burn was starting to show and I sighed.
"We need to get you looked at, Joan wouldn't-."
"Don't say her fucking name to me… she did this to me… she fucked with my head, she…. Don't say her fucking name." I tell her and I looked to her.
"Ok… Ok, we just need to get you looked at." She says and I watched her more as they checked me over, I coughed a bit but no blood this time which is good I supposed but I don't care at this moment.
"Think we can take over that school?" I heard and looked to the men.
"School?" I asked and looked to Kelly as she looked at me.
"I don't know what's going on." She says and she heads to the men and starts talking with them. They all exit out and I look around a bit. I waited and waited as I was bandaged up I watched people come and go and come and go and it was just endless to the amount of people I saw. I was then taken out and tied back to the porch. I felt the sun hitting my face but it was still cold outside. I watched more and more as people worked, I watched them carefully trying to remember each face of each person.
"We got the new people." I heard and looked to see Clementine, Minnie, AJ and the others and I tried to get the ropes off.
"Fucking god damn it." I say as I watched them.
"VIOLET!" I hear AJ yell and Clementine looked at me and she looked near tears as I see her leg was gone as they dragged her and the others too me. Aasim, Louis, Omar, and Willy looked like hell with bruises on them. They were all tied up in front of me and AJ god damn it.
"Vi." I heard and looked to Minnie as she also looked beaten and I breathed a bit as I watched them.
"Well, well, well, looks like we have some old members, and some new ones too." Joan says and I looked to her pissed and then to the others.
"Violet… Violet where is Mary?" Clem asked scared and god I couldn't look at her anymore. I looked down as I tried to breath and it was hell on earth for me.
"Oh she's with her mother." Joan mocked and I glared at her.
"You BITCH!" Clem thrashed in her spot.
"Clem stop don't." I begged and she looked at me. I was scared, I didn't want her to die too.
"Please just don't I… just don't please." I begged and she looked to me and then back to Joan.
"Well seems like one person listens when told, though since the last time I remember you, it didn't go so well, with my own people going against me and all that." Joan says and I look at her as she gets in Clementine's face and points her pistol at her.
"DON'T... please, don't kill her, don't hurt them please…. I'll… please don't hurt them." I begged and Joan looked to me.
"Sure… I won't hurt them Flower." She says as she came up to me and moved the hair out of my face with her pistol and I looked at her. I could feel the sweat dripping from my face as I looked to her more and she smirked and she nods as she looks to the people in her group.
"Take them all to the barn, keep Violet in the center though." Joan says and they all pick us up and take us to the barn. Everyone was set on the ground and I was tied to the center beam and I watched as the others weren't tied up and Joan's people leave us. The first thing to happen was Clem coming up to me and hugging me and I lay my head on her shoulder.
"I'm sorry, I'm so god damn sorry…. Clem she's gone I… I'm so sorry." I tell her over and over again as I cried in her shoulder.
"I'm so sorry…. I… I don't I can't." I tried to say as I tried to breath.
"It's ok, It's ok."
"No… no it's not I.. I couldn't save her I… I failed." I say and keep my head on her shoulder.
"Jesus fuck." Louis says and I look to him as he got up and looked around.
"I…I don't know what to do." I tell her.
"It's ok, we can figure out what to do." She says.
"Where is you leg?" I asked and she looked to me.
"They took it and threw it somewhere at the school, look we can't worry about that now, can you get up?" she asked and I think and nod a bit as she moves away from me and I get up as best as I could. I end up coughing more and I get down.
"Oh fuck…. Give me a bit." I tell her and she helps me up a bit and I groan in pain as I look at all of them and I mess with the rope.
"Shit… fuck they have my family Violet." I hear Aasim say and I look at him and I look around to not see the kids around and I look to him.
"I… look we have to think we have to think." Louis says panicked and I look to all of them.
"AJ." I say and he looked up to me and I look at him sadly.
"I'm so sorry AJ… I'm so sorry Minnie." I say and she looked to me and I watch them all as I looked down.
"I didn't want them to hurt anyone, I didn't I swear." I say.
"We know… it's ok."
"No… no it's not." I say and looked around as pest as I could and the door opened and we all looked to see Joan and Juliet along with Kelly and Delta.
"Seems you are doing well enough to stand." Joan says and I looked to Clem and motioned for her to move away as Joan walked up to me and looked me in the face.
"Get away from her." Clem says and I closed my eyes and looked at Joan. She turned her head to look at Clementine and is about to go to her.
"Don't… don't do it Joan." I say and she looked to me.
"You going to take her punishments again?" She asked and I looked to her.
"Yes… Don't hurt them." I say and she smirked as she grabbed her pistol and shot me in the leg.
"FUCK!" I yelled as I leaned down a bit which was hard to do being tied up like this.
"VIOLET!" I heard people yell and my hair was pulled back and I was forced to look at Joan and she looked to me and I see the knife in her hand as I glared at her.
"Fucking bitch." I tell her.
"Really now?" She asked as she put the knife to my cheek and makes a deep cut drawing blood and I breath and try not to yell as she keeps going deeper and deeper.
"STOP IT!" AJ yelled and she looked to him.
"Don't, don't look at him." I say and she looked back at me and slammed the back of my head on the post and I groan a bit as I look to AJ.
"Look away AJ, just look away." I tell him and he does as told when Joan hits my head to the post again. I felt lightheaded and I looked to her as she takes her knife and goes to my neck.
"Tell him to watch or I cut your throat." She says and I just look to her as I swallow the lump in my throat and I coughed a bit.
"Tell him to watch NOW!" She yelled.
"Don't… watch." I say and she glared at me as she takes the knife and stabbed my leg and I groaned in more pain as she pulled it down making it bleed more.
"Joan." I heard and looked to Juliet as Joan also looked to her.
"What Juliet?" She asked and I looked to her as she pulled the knife from my leg and I slump down a bit to the ground and I looked to see AJ still looking away and I looked back to Juliet.
"What is it?" Joan asked impatient.
"Mark said there were some Walkers by the fences, we need to get more people to kill them." She said and Joan smirked as she looked to me and my eyes go wide.
"Bring a walker here alive why don't you." Joan says and they looked to her frightened at what she just said.
"What?" Delta asked as he stood taller.
"You heard me, bring a walker here." Joan says and they looked to her and they all leave. Joan then also leaves and I looked to the others as I breathed hard.
"Go in the horses pens when I fucking tell you." I say to them.
"Violet."
"You listen to me and you listen good, I want you all in those pens when I fucking say so, I want you all to cover your ears, and close your eyes, do you all fucking hear me?" I tell them and they all looked at me scared as I looked at them. I must be crazy.
"ARE YOU FUCKING LISTENING TO ME?!" I asked pissed off.
"Yes…yes we are." Clem says and I nod as I looked to the barn doors and then to them.
"AJ that goes double for you." I tell him and he nods sadly as we all just take a breath and I looked to Clementine as she looked to me.
"There should be a lock inside the pen, lock the pen from the inside, the key is in the pen too, lock it so if they let the walker go you can stay in there and you can be safe ok." I say and looked to Willy who was looking away from me and I looked to him sadly then to the others.
"It's ok… it's going to be ok." I tell them as I hear talking and I motioned for them to get in the pen and they do just that and the door opens. I hear the Walker and Joan as they come in through the door and I watch her.
"Where the hell did, they go?" Delta asked and he looked around as I looked to them.
"They didn't leave, they can't get out." Joan says as she looked to me and then to the Walker as it tried to come at me with blood pouring from my leg still and I stand up as best as I could.
"Remember last time you were with a walker… nothing to defend yourself with?" she says and I glared at her as she walked up to me and the Walker getting closer and more excited at the idea of getting a free meal out of me.
"Do you? Best to answer me Violet." She says.
"I… I do." I say to her and she smiled at me.
"Well let's see if you can keep the walker away from you while you're tied up." She says as she pulled back a bit with the Walker and let it go as it came up to me and I moved my leg a bit to see if I can kick. It hurt like hell but I think I can.
"Joan grab the damn thing." Juliet says and I lift my leg up to kick the damn deadhead away from me. It fell to the ground but I can't kill it with the position I'm in.
"No, just watch, people try anything to live." She says and I watch as the Walker gets up again and I move as best as I could to keep it from biting me.
"CALL THE DAMN THING OFF!" Juliet yelled as the walker grabbed my leg and I kicked it with my other foot before it could take a bite from my leg and it fell to the side as I glared at it. It got back up and I twist around the poll as the walker tried to grab my leg again.
"JOAN!" Kelly yelled and the walker grabbed me again and I kicked it. My leg starting to burn from the constant moving and I falter a bit.
"FUCKING HELL!" I heard and felt someone come up from behind and shoot the walker in the head and I looked to see Juliet as she looked to me scared and I looked to the walker as it looked like it was about to bite my ankle and I fall to the ground and I fell Juliet be pulled back and Joan punched me across the face and then in the gut I then was punched one more time in the face as she grabbed my face and looked to me and forced me to look at her. I felt the sweat on my face as I looked to her and she looked me dead in the eyes. I can see how crazed she looked at the fact that I didn't kill the walker.
"We will try this again." She says to me as she hits me in the face again and I looked down as she walked out the barn and I coughed again and heard the barn door as I looked to the others as they got out the pen and I coughed again as I looked at the walker they had left and I move around a bit to not be in the field of vision of it.
"Violet." I heard but I keep my head down as I try to calm my racing heart and I hear my name be called again and I looked to them.
"Violet." Omar said and I looked to him and he looked to my leg.
"I'm ok… I didn't get b-bitten." I say and looked to Clem as she looked to me. She was scared they all were and I had to think on how to get them out but I can't think right now.
"We can figure this out we always have." I hear AJ say and I looked to him.
"AJ… it's hard to think right now… who has a plan?" I asked.
"We need to get the kids." Ruby says and I nod as I think a bit at this.
"Ok… ok, when Juliet comes back in I can talk to her ask on how the kids are and what's going on…I can figure out their routine and figure something out." I say and they all nod.
"What makes you think she'll tell anything?" I heard Louis ask.
"I don't know… I just need to have a plan in mind or I'm going to fucking lose it." I say as I lay my head back on the post and I close my eyes a bit as I think more.
"Fuck I need a smoke." I say and I feel someone come next to me and it's AJ as he pulled out my cigarettes.
"I took them to get you to stop but." He says and I nod.
"It's fine… I can't be angry." I say to him and he nods a bit and he pulled out a lighter and I think as the cigarette is lit and I look to him.
"Burn the rope." I say quietly and he looked to me and I smiled.
"Burn the rope on one of the others ties, they can untie the others and get out…" I say to him and he nods as he goes over to Clementine.
"What's going on?" Louis asked.
"AJ you fucking genius." I say as I watch him do as told and Clementine is free from her restraints and she works on the others ties and AJ helped too.
"Ok, so we can't leave now, I still need to talk to Juliet, so what we are going to do is tie you guys back up but loose ok so you can slip out when you need to be, ok… it's just going to take some time." I explained and they all nodded as AJ worked on tying them back up but loose. They tested to see if they could get out which was great and AJ found some old rope and retied Clem and I watched them.
"What about you?" AJ asked.
"Don't worry, they'll let me go someway but right now we work on you guys getting out." I tell him as I finish the cigarette and I snuff it our with my hand and cover it with the hay.
"If we have to you can use that lighter and burn it to the ground." I tell him.
"Not with you in it." He says.
"AJ, I don't care if I'm in this barn or not you will start a damn fire, it will get everyone a distraction while you all get out, I'll find a way out I promise I swear." I tell him and he looked to me.
"I've not broken a promise to you, yet have I?" I asked him and he shook his head no.
"Good boy, now…. All we have to do is use time ok?" I asked and they nodded. It was a while before someone came in and to my luck it was Kelly and Diana as they came up to me and they looked the others. Diana went to help them and I looked to Kelly.
"You need to help my family get out." I tell her and she looked to me.
"Where are the kids?" I asked her.
"They're safe in the house… Juliet is watching them." She says and I look to her.
"You need to help them get out, I don't care about me, Joan just wants me, they mean nothing to her, but I need you to help them…. Help me help them get out that's all I ask, and I will make sure she never hurts another person again." I say to her and she looked to me.
"She's fucking crazy and you know it." I whispered to her.
"I know but… we can't do anything."
"Yes you can… you can just tell me the routine and I'll do the rest of the work but I need you to focus on those kids, I need you to get those kids out of the house and back to their mom and dad, if they die I would never forgive anyone in this entire community, I will personally hurt all of you if anything happens to that little boy and girl." I tell her and she looked to me and I glared at her.
"I can try but I can't make a promise, it's going to change from time to time and you know it." She says and I nod.
"I just need a gist of what the time is and so on that's all I need, and I need you to get the kids ready the time I tell you we're leaving." I tell her and she looked to me and nods a bit.
"Don't tell Joan, don't tell anyone else." I say and she nods as she gets the bandages and stuff and leaves with Diana and I looked to the others to see them patched up a bit and I look at all of them some more. I then looked down and I closed my eyes as I felt a bit tired and then I looked around a bit but mostly at the door.
"That was good thinking… with the rope." I hear and looked to Louis and I nod.
"Good thing AJ still had my lighter." I tell him and he nods.
"Is this what happened… before we?" He asked and I looked to him as he fiddled with his rope and I looked at the ground.
"I… It was easier I suppose, I wasn't tied up with a Walker coming at me, but I was locked in a room with no weapon so." I tell him and he looked at me, they all looked to me and I sigh and I cleared my throat a bit.
"Look, lets just keep focus on trying to stay alive, do as they say for a while stay on their good side this is all I ask so we can plan things out as smooth as we can." I tell them.
"Where do we go after we run?" Aasim asked and I think a bit.
"Head back to Georgia Savanna I mean, the old house, if not head to Texas, we still have guns hidden in our old home, AJ and Clementine know where they are, grab all that and fuck head to the New Delta, tell the others what's going on, get any help we can." I say and they nod a bit as I tell them what they are going to have to do.
"Ok, ok we can do that." I hear them say and I think a bit and look around.
"Shit." I hear Aasim say and I looked to him.
"Hey it's ok, we are going to get the kids out ok." I say to him.
"I just… I can't lose them." He says and I nod.
"I know, I know, we will get them I promise we just need to be pacient." I tell him and the barn door opens and I see Kelly coming in as she brings us food and I watch her.
"The kids are in bed right now but they're ok, tonight John and Kyle are on look but I know that in a week or so Juliet and I will be working on watching the barn, so we can get you all out that one time." She says.
"Best if we wait on that, who watches the kids?" I asked as she looked to me.
"Diana, she will be watching them so it's going to be easy." She says and I nod a bit and I looked to the others and Aasim and Ruby looked a bit relieved at this.
"Ok… ok we wait for a second time around so things aren't to weird don't need you and Juliet getting in trouble with Joan, but that way I can at least heal a bit." I tell her and she nods at this and then she leaves me and Clementine comes over to me and helps feed me a bit.
"Fuck." She says as she touches my cheek.
"This is nothing." I say to her trying to be strong for her and she nods at this.
"Hey…. I…. I really am sorry for not… being able to keep Mary safe." I tell her and she looked to me.
"I… I know you are Vi but…. I can't get that fact out of my head…. That she's gone." She says and I nod as I look to her and she hugged me a bit and I sigh a bit.
"Least they let me bury her." I tell her and she nods at this.
"I'm so sorry for what happened, I should have come." She says.
"No… no you shouldn't have…. I wish AJ didn't see what he had seen." I say as I looked to him as he ate some bread and I look to her.
"Look, I need you to listen, I want you to make sure if anything happens to me, that you need to make sure AJ doesn't try to help me ok?" I tell her. I know she wanted to go against what I just told her to do but I had to speak up before she did.
"And I don't want you to try either, just let them do whatever, I don't want you to get hurt, but you need to have him look away that's what I want you to promise me." I tell her and she nods and looked at me with sad eyes. I wanted to caress her cheek but I couldn't so she caressed my good cheek as she kissed my head gently and I feel her forehead against mine as I close my eyes for a bit, I opened my eyes a bit as she looked back to me.
"I can't make any promises to you and you know it but I will try it as best as I can." She says and I looked to her.
"I know, I know you can't I know you Clementine but this is just one thing I need you to do for me that's all I ask of you." I tell her and she nods a bit.
"I can try that's all you're getting from me." She says and I nod.
"That's all I ask." I tell her and she nods as we finish eating and I looked to the barn door more.
"I can watch the door for a bit." I say and she looked at me.
"No point, they're watching anyway so you can get some sleep." She says to me and I nod at this as I looked to the sides of the barn and I see the Walker.
"Guess Joan told them to keep it here." I say and she nods.
"Guess so…. You see how ugly she got." Clem says and I laughed at this a bit and looked to her.
"What I'm just saying." She says and I smiled and shook my head.
"Yea… ugly ass bitch." I say and she laughed a bit too.
"Sorry I just wanted to see you laugh." She says and I nod a bit at this and looked to the others as they slept.
"God, I wish I was able to warn you guys…. I'm so sorry Clem."
"It's ok, you have nothing to be sorry about, I'll say it time and time again I don't blame you for everything." I hear her tell me.
"I'm going to kill her… that's what I want to do… I want to bash her head in with a fucking bat." I tell her and she looked at me.
"I'm going to kill her Clem… she deserves to suffer for what she's done." I tell her and she nods.
"I won't stop you…. I know your mind is set so I won't try and stop you." She says and I nod as I looked at her hands.
"Your hands ok?" She asked and I shrugged.
"Just rope burns but there's nothing I can do about that you know." I tell her and she nods.
"But you can feel them, right? And your fingers?" she asked and I nodded as I wiggled my fingers a bit.
"Yea, yea I can the rope is good on it." I say and she nods at this information and I sigh and shiver a bit at the wind.
"Fuck when did it get so cold?" I asked.
"When the weather decided to change." She says and I chuckled as I nodded at this.
"Smart ass." I tell her.
"Of course, I thought you married me because of that." She says and I laughed a bit.
"Yea… yea I married you because you were a major bitch, kind of a turn on." I say to her quietly and she smiled at this.
"Oh, really now?" She asked and I smiled as we laughed just a little at this.
"Yea… yea… I also married you for your good looks."
"Oh my, aren't you the charmer." She says and I smiled.
"Best thing I got going for me, right?" I asked.
"Well, you're smart, brave, caring, the list goes on and on for you." She says and I nod at this as I lean my head back on the poll and I felt her eyes on me and I relaxed as best as I could with the position, I'm in.
"Look I just want this to go well I don't want any more death so when I say do something that's what I want you to do, just keep the others safe too… like when Lilly tried to take us away." I tell her and she nods.
"I will… I need you to make me a new leg soon anyway." She says and I chuckled.
"With a rocket in it this time?" I asked and she looked to me and nods as I smiled. We talked a little more for the night and I slowly started to fall asleep.
