Ch. 11: Tairitsu suru keiji

Seeing that Melissa is prepared for whatever comes in, Midoriya reluctantly took her with him and left the room, passing by the dead bodies of the soldiers killed by the Cyborg Ninja, which Melissa asked who this Sir Nighteye is, which Midoriya told her that Nighteye was a pro hero who used to be All Might's partner before having a falling out.

Melissa nodded and asked if Nighteye and All Might have ever reconciled, which Midoriya said that he is unsure if both Nighteye and All Might have ever met after several years, yet Midoriya is confident that Nighteye and All Might have patch things up and become friends again.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"That's good to hear, Midoriya…"

"Well…we should get going…"

"Okay."

"Are you ready, Melissa…?"

"Yes."

"Good. Let's go."

As Midoriya and Melissa left, they made sure that they do not encounter any enemy soldiers, and once the two teens are out of sight, things are quiet until two minutes later the enemy soldiers came, shocked at seeing the state of the corpses are, and there two of the soldiers entered the room and find out that Emmerich is gone, and told their fellow soldiers that Emmerich has escaped.

"Sir! The encoder is gone! It's possible that he may have fled!"

"What?"

The soldiers then scrambled to find Emmerich, worried that if their BOSS finds out about the situation, he would surely blow his top and threw a tantrum, which the soldiers are now doubling their efforts in finding and locating Emmerich, making sure that he be recaptured and brought back alive.

"Spread out! Find him! But don't kill him! Bring him back alive!"

"Okay!"

Back at Japan, Nezu was talking to Naomasa Tsukauchi, via a secret line, requesting to have Sir Nighteye's body to undergo re-autopsy, which Tsukauchi asked Nezu why the sudden request like that, and there he is surprised when told by Nezu about what Midoriya told him, which he couldn't believe what he just heard, as Tsukauchi is amongst the people who attended Nighteye's funeral, hence he finds it unbelievable about Midoriya's claim that Nighteye is at Alaska as the Cyborg Ninja.

"Are you serious?"

"Yes. I am."

"But…I was there…Nighteye was buried…attended his funeral…"

"Which is why I am requesting this…to determine if Midoriya is right or not…as well as to see of there is something amiss…"

"Still…I find it hard to believe…"

"We will get there…but for now…"

"Are you certain about what Midoriya said…"

"That is what Midoriya told me…"

Tsukauchi is amongst the select few to be aware of Midoriya's secret mission, and though he is skeptical about what Midoriya said, he told Nezu that he will accept the request and he will have Nighteye's body be taken out from the grave and undergo re-autopsy to see if the body is indeed Nighteye's, though he is going to brace himself in case what Midoriya say is true about Nighteye being the Cyborg Ninja.

"Okay, Mr. Nezu...I'll accept your request."

"Really? Oh, thank you…"

"But only because of the circumstances. If we get the results I will notify you."

"Much appreciated."

"But if what you suspect is true…then we got ourselves a problem. Are you prepared for that?"

"Yes, Mr. Tsukauchi."

"Very well. Over and out."

"Thanks."

After that, Nezu ended the call, where the Minister of Defense is surprised to find out that an outsider is aware of the secret mission and demanded to know what Nezu is thinking, though the UA Academy principal assured to the Minister of Defense that everything is top secret, though he explained why he contacted Tsukauchi.

The Minister of Defense raised an eyebrow when told of the reason why, and expressed disbelief and is skeptical about Midoriya claiming that Nighteye is the Cyborg Ninja, saying that he read the news article about Nighteye being buried at a cemetery, hence he finds it unbelievable what Midoriya said, and wondered if Midoriya is being mislead, though Nezu assured that Midoriya is not the kind of person who would make OUTRAGEOUS LIES.

"Are you sure about that, Nezu?"

"Yes."

"Don't you think that boy is making up some…"

"I know Midoriya. He would not do something foolish to jeopardize the mission."

"Which is why I am skeptical. The so-called Cyborg Ninja at Alaska is Sir Nighteye? I find this unbelievable…"

"Which is why I requested to have Nighteye's remains be re-examined…just to be sure…"

"Seriously, Nezu…"

"…"

Other military officials overheard the discussion, and are wondering if having Nezu in charge is the right thing, as they expressed doubt that he would be a help in thwarting the would-be INTERNATIONAL CRISIS and if Midoriya is the right person for this secret mission given that he is 16 years old and that they believe that the teen boy might have an ulterior motive in accepting the mission and demanding why he would only take orders from Nezu.

"You think this Midoriya is a possible risk?"

"Could be…"

"Its possible…"

"Probably…"

"Then we need to know if that boy can be relied on…otherwise he is a possible risk…"

"Indeed…"

An hour later, at a cemetery, Tsukauchi managed to get permission and hired some men to begin digging out the coffin from the grave, and there Centipeder and Bubble Girl arrived, having been informed, and the two expressed disbelief at what Midoriya said, though Tsukauchi said that this would help in the investigation, and depending on the results, this would address things and would hope to cast away any doubts, but admitted that given Midoriya's statements, this might help in determining if this is the case or if the enemy pulled a convincing deception.

"…which is why I accepted Nezu's request…to see if what Midoriya said is true or not…"

"But…the funeral we attended…"

"We even saw his body inside the casket…"

"So did I...but what if Midoriya is right…?"

"…"

"And this is a chance we should take and find out the truth…"

"Fine…"

After several minutes, the coffin was brought out and the workers began collecting the remains of Nighteye and there Tsukauchi is preparing to have the remains examined, and he is bracing himself, in case what Midoriya said is true, then they have an unexpected situation to deal with.

Tsukauchi tells his men to be careful and not lose the remains and make sure it doesn't get contaminated, which the men nodded as they began to open the coffin to put the remains inside a special case.

"Yes sir."

Back at the secret facility in Alaska, Melissa led Midoriya towards a secret passage where they are now approaching an executive office room, where both took a break after spending over 15 minutes evading sensors and patrolling enemy soldiers, and there Melissa asked Midoriya if he is sure about the Cyborg Ninja being Nighteye, which he said that there is no doubt about it, given that he has seen how Nighteye's Quirk functions, and seeing several minutes ago shows that it is the same Quirk that Nighteye used when he is still alive.

Melissa then asked how can he be sure after Midoriya told her that he is amongst the several people who attended Nighteye's funeral, which Midoriya admitted that while he do have some doubts, the way the Cyborg Ninja moves, revealing his Quirk and addressing him by his Hero name, Midoriya is convinced that Nighteye is the Cyborg Ninja because Midoriya never went to the United States of America and he only used his hero name in Musutafu in Japan.

"Really…?"

"Yes, Melissa."

"Then…"

"No one here knows my Hero name since right now is my first time coming to American soil, so it's possible that the Cyborg Ninja is Sir Nighteye."

"…"

"Now if Principal Nezu got the results and it says that the answer is negative…then I'll see where this goes…"

"…"

Melissa was surprised by this and wondered if something happened, such as someone managed to use an advanced technology to COPY Nighteye's memories or the like, something Midoriya is considering, though he said that Nezu is now having Nighteye's remains dug out from the cemetery and have it re-examined, then the UA Academy principal will contact him once the impromptu examination is completed.

"Really…?"

"Yes, Melissa. All we have to do is wait for the results of the examination of Sir Nighteye's remains."

"Then…"

"Once principal Nezu got the results he will tell me, and depending on the results, the possibility that the Cyborg Ninja is Sir Nighteye is now in the balance."

"…"

"For the time being, we should focus on stopping the enemy…"

"Right…"

"Lets go, Melissa…"

As the two teens are discussing about making their next move, Melissa began staring at the wall, looking like she is in a trance, which Midoriya is baffled and asked her if she is okay, which he became concerned as she went still for a minute without saying a word.

"Melissa…?"

"…"

"Are you okay?"

"…"

"What's wrong?"

"…"

"Melissa…?"

"…"

After a few seconds, Melissa was brought back to her senses and smiled, apologizing if she made him worried, and while Midoriya is relieved to see that she is okay, something unexpected happened, as Melissa approached Midoriya and gave him a passionate kiss, which he is surprised as it was sudden, as her lips moved and touched his.

Then her tongue began to clash against his, and Midoriya was baffled as he is unsure about what to do, as he never kissed a girl before, and as Melissa moaned through the kiss, the younger boy is forced to follow suit, and the two teens moaned together.

"Mmmm…"

After that, Melissa smiled and tells him that they better get going, saying that they have a mission to accomplish, and she opened the door of the executive office, and entered, which Midoriya was blushing hard as he is in a state of disbelief after getting his FIRST KISS from Melissa, and his heart was pounding as he baffled at what happened just now.

Hope you liked this chapter, as Nezu briefly takes the spotlight as he requested a re-examination of Nighteye's remains to see if the remains are indeed Nighteye's or not...

As for Midoriya, he got something he didn't expect, as he got his FIRST KISS from Melissa, who seemingly didn't act like herself…
