Hey everyone. I'm so sorry for the wait and hope this is good enough. Welcome to the end.

Disclaimer: Definitely not mine, or else I wouldn't have so much student debt already.

Chapter 19: Going Back

Hiro was the one to break the stunned silence a moment later, "So, will any of this actually happen?" Everyone, besides Gecca, turned to look at him confusedly and he continued defensively, "I mean if we know what's going to happen then we can change it. I at least hope Tadashi wouldn't run into that burning building knowing what would happen." Hiro looked to Tadashi for confirmation and the older brother nodded with a small smile. Everyone then turned to Gecca for answers as she looked from face to face worrying her lip with her teeth.

"The thing is… I can't let you keep your memories. It's important that at least most of this happens," Gecca flinched away from the looks from the others, especially Hiro and Cass who did not want to lose Tadashi.

"However, I can leave you with some feelings when something big is going to happen. These will just be strong feelings and it's still up to you on how you react, but some things could change." Tadashi nodded and Gecca looked up into his eyes, telling him with her eyes that this caveat was especially for him.

"So that's it?" Gogo asked, "We just see the future and forget it?"

Gecca nods before saying, "With a small chance of changing that future just enough."

Fred excitedly said, "Well let's get going then! I want to be a superhero!" Wasabi smacked the other's arm and nodded toward Hiro and Tadashi. Hiro was looking up at his older brother with fear brimming in his eyes at the thought of actually losing him.

Tadashi wrapped the younger boy in a hug and whispered, "Even if I still die, know that I'll always love you."

Gecca smiled and said, "Oh! And once the events of the future, or the equivalent of them, are done you all will remember this whole viewing." Honey Lemon smiled broadly at the young girl before going over and giving Gecca a hug.

Gecca started to tear up in Honey Lemon's arms and once they broke apart she said, "Before I send you back I want you guys to sit down just for a moment back in your chairs." They followed the girl's instructions and she stood in front of them smiling sadly as she took them all in.

Gecca approached Fred and said, "Never stop being your goofy, silly self, but remember that sometimes everyone needs to be serious."

She moved on to Wasabi, "Your precision is impeccable, but sometimes a little mess is a good thing."

Gogo raised an eyebrow as the young girl told her, "Going fast is impressive, but stopping for a moment is also needed."

Honey Lemon smiled as Gecca told her, "Your memory of chemical equations is unrivaled, but remember that not everything is as it seems."

Gecca skipped the Aunt Cass before saying, "You have done an amazing job at raising your nephews, and remember that food is not always the answer."

The young girl stood in front of Hiro and smiled, "You have a lot of potential in you. I know the world is rough and feels too big, but sometimes it's better to take a risk."

Gecca approached Callahan with a straight face, "You've gone through a lot, but revenge is not the way. You're future actions are not excused by your past, but they do help us understand you better."

Tadashi looked deeply into Gecca's eyes as she relayed, "You always want to help others and that is honorable, but you matter too."

Finally, Gecca approached the large marshmallow that is Baymax and sighed before saying, "I know you are just a robot, but you are so kind and never let that change (as much as you can control that). I am satisfied with my care." With that last sentence Baymax went to his charging port and turned off.

Gecca was surprised as she was suddenly surrounded by the others, besides Callahan, in a large group hug.

Hiro spoke for all of them when he told the girl, "Thank you for this chance." Gecca smiled and nodded before pressing a button on the remote that she held in her hand and they all disappeared.

Back in Sanfransokyo, they all appeared right back where they were without any memory of what had just occurred. They continued to go through their actions. Hiro and Tadashi were arrested. Tadashi took Hiro to see the lab and meet the others. Hiro created the microbots and got invigted to join the college.

That night is when everything changed. As Tadashi ran towards that building where his professor was still in, he suddenly felt like this was the wrong thing to do. He turned just at the door and started to go back, but just as he did the building exploded and he was sent flying.

The next day Cass and Hiro watched on television as a memorial for Professor Callahan was held from Tadashi's hospital room where he lay in a coma recovering from his extensive burns.

A couple of months later Tadashi was still in a coma and Hiro got up and ready for the day, watched a video from the rest of the gang telling him they were going to pick him up to take him to the hospital for the day, and stubbed his toe on his bed waking Baymax.

They still went on the adventure and found the microbots being mass produced. They still get chased by Kabuki man. They still become superheroes and it's still for Tadashi, just not in his memory.

When Callahan is revealed and Hiro is angry, the same fight happens but the gang finds them at the hospital with Hiro crying while holding Tadashi's still bandage wrapped hand.

They still managed to save Abigail and Baymax was still lost. After that fight, the gang and Aunt Cass found themselves in Tadashi's hospital room, just down the hall from Abigail's, taking a much needed nap. They all woke up to the sound of Tadashi's heart monitor speeding up and woke to find his eyes open for the first time since the fire.

Hiro and Cass carefully hugged Tadashi. Hiro's mind replaying the funeral that he had just seen in his dreams, along with the rest of the time with Gecca.

Tadashi smiled at his little brother and said, "Let's remake Baymax." Hiro laughed wetly as tears streamed down his cheeks.

Suddenly Fred yelled out, "Wait! Does that mean that my dad is a superhero and has a secret lair in our house?!" The others laughed and everyone was smiling.

Gecca smiled down at them all as her older self took the remote and turned off the screen before hugging her younger self and saying, "Good job. We did it."

A.N. Hey y'all, I hope you enjoyed that ending and it was good enough. I'm so sorry for how long this actually took. I've gone through a lot since the last chapter including a breakup, coming to terms with my sexuality, getting together with my amazing girlfriend, figuring out my gender identity, my family moving, three more semesters of college at one of the top engineering schools in the US, being diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, C-PTSD, starting and figuring out meds, and struggling with anorexic tendencies. All that on top of writer's block and the fact that I didn't know what I wanted to do with this ending until last night, just turned into a long wait that you guys did not deserve, so I am sorry.

On a happier note, I have learned a lot from this story. I've learned how hard I can push myself. I've learned how personally I take things and how to deal with it. I've also learned to have the story planned out and multiple chapters ready before I post (which is my plan for a fic for another fandom (Critical Role) if any of you are interested). So, thank you all for being with me through this learning journey.

I've decided not to reply to all the reviews, but do know that I read all of them and they really meant a lot to me. Thank you all for sticking with this story and I hope this ending was good enough. Happy belated Pride month to my fellow Alphabet Mafia. Happy Disability Pride month to all the spoonies out there (or whatever you prefer to be called). And I would say Happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans but as I and every other person with a vagina just got our rights taken away that feels wrong, so stay strong. I love all of you and as always, Read, Review, and Enjoy.
