Hey, everybody. Back with another chapter. So, this one will probably please some of my readers. I wasn't sure if I wanted to write it, but eventually, I thought of it, and I liked it. Also, most of this chapter will be comprised of flashbacks to the period between the end of the last story and the start of this one. You'll see why soon enough.

Let's get to it.

Dalej0523: Except for surviving Jedi, no. The rest of the galaxy doesn't know how to get to Terra.

RandomFanAuthor: Kind of. Each nation is still technically a sovereign nation, but they, along with other member worlds, fall under the governance of the Alliance government, which is essentially like the Senate. It's basically the United Nations continued, but with more power over its members.

Guest DCDGojira: Not sure about including events from that comic. Yes, the events of Rebels and Fallen Order took place during the Intergalactic Cold War

CT7567Rules: The Alliance won't really be involved in the events of Rogue One beyond the small team led by Adams. But we will see some Terran starfighter action during the Death Star attack.

Guest: Earth has outposts on other planets in the solar system, including Mars, and has colonized other uninhabited resource rich planets in other systems.

Chapter 4- Family

Ahsoka smiles as she crosses blades with Alex White, the nephew of John White of the ASAT Team. Alex was discovered as Force sensitive when he was a year old, and his parents had agreed to have him trained as a Jedi. Given that one of the changes to the Jedi code allowed Jedi trainees to continue to see and have a relationship with their families, this made it easier.

"You are doing well, Alex," she says.

"Thank you, Master Tano," Alex says before whipping around and slashing at her again. They exchange several blows before Ahsoka steps back and deactivates her lightsaber.

"Alright, Alex. That's it for today," Ahsoka says.

Alex smiles and bows to Ahsoka before hurrying off.

Ahsoka smiles as she walks out of the training room, and is met by Plo. "Hello, Master Plo. I'm off for home," she says.

"Of course. I will see you tomorrow, Little 'Soka," Plo says.

"See you tomorrow, Master Plo," Ahsoka says before turning and walking away.

A few minutes later, Ahsoka exits the Temple. She walks to the parking lot, and gets in her Toyota 4Runner. Ahsoka pulls out of the parking lot and starts driving. Although the Temple is located just outside Shepherdstown, West Virginia, Ahsoka lives west in the city of Frederick, Maryland. Unlike the Jedi Order in the Andromeda Galaxy, not all of the members of the Terran Jedi Order lived in the Temple. A number of them live in the area surrounding the Temple, usually within an hour drive or so of the Temple.

As she drives, Ahsoka smiles as she watches the sun setting, and the beautiful orange colors over the Blue Ridge Mountains to the east. This place really is one of the most beautiful places she's seen besides Naboo's lake country.

After a 45 minute drive, Ahsoka pulls into her driveway at her house, which is in the northeastern part of Frederick near the town of Walkersville. It's a very nice, two story house with a basement and a large property. The neighborhood is a newer neighborhood, and full of wonderful neighbors.

Ahsoka turns off the car and steps out. She takes her lightsabers and re-straps them to her belt before walking up to the door and opening it, walking into her home.

As she walks into the house and walks towards the kitchen, she suddenly hears feet running, and a young girl, 8 years old and a mix of a Togruta and human, runs into the hall.

"Mommy!" she cries out.

Ahsoka beams as she hugs her daughter. "Sarah! Oh, I'm so glad to be home," she says.

Right then, a four year old boy comes running into the hall as well, running up to Ahsoka and hugging her leg. Smiling, Ahsoka hugs him too and says, "Jacob! How was your day?"

"It was great, Mommy! I played with Tommy!" Jacob says happily.

"Wow! So exciting!" Ahsoka says as she stands up and walks with her children into the kitchen.

As she does, she smiles as Dakota walks over to her. "Hey, honey," he says. He leans and gives Ahsoka a quick kiss before asking, "How was your day?"

"Great. I spent a lot of time working with General White's nephew," she says before Jacob starts dragging her over to where his Legos are, wanting to show her.

Ahsoka smiles. Her husband, Dakota Hall, is the younger brother of former ASAT commando Tyler Hall. When the Clone Wars ended and Ahsoka moved to Terra permanently, Dakota had just graduated college and joined the US Air Force (he had since transferred to the Terran Starfleet). She met him shortly after arriving on Terra in 1994 when, during attempts to meet the families of all the ASAT team, she met Hall's family. Given she was just 17 at the time she came to Terra to stay, at first, they were just friends. But then, things progressed from there.

(March 21, 1997)

Ahsoka laughs along to a joke Tyler just told. She had joined Hall and his whole family for Hall's birthday celebration on his parents' estate in Pennsylvania.

"Alright, everybody! Burgers are done!" Tyler's dad calls out.

Multiple cheers echo as everyone stands up and walks towards the grill, ready to dig in to the burgers.

Ahsoka grabs herself a burger and some potato chips, then sits down next to the fire pit. Dakota sits down next to her a few moments later.

"Hey, Dakota. How are things?" Ahsoka says as she takes a bite out of a chip.

"Pretty well. I actually just got orders to transfer to the Starfleet. I'll be flying the SF-15," Dakota says.

"Congratulations!" Ahsoka says with a smile.

"Yeah. I'll also be moving back up here to Pennsylvania," Dakota says.

Ahsoka smiles. "Well. That's gonna be nice. You'll be able to spend more time with your family," she says.

Dakota smiles and nods. Then, he says, "On that note, there is something I wanted to talk to you about, Ahsoka. I've never thought asking this would work, given I spend so little time in this area. But, now that I'll be here more often, I wanted to ask…do you want to go out to dinner sometime?"

Ahsoka sits there in surprise. When the Jedi Code had been revised for the Terran Jedi to allow romantic relationships, she never thought that it would affect her. She never thought that any human on Earth would find her attractive, although people had gotten used to her appearance and she would stop getting weird side glances from people on the street. She had also never really felt any interest in pursuing a romantic relationship.

However, as she sits there, she thinks about this. She and Dakota have been good friends, and she does have to admit he's good looking. Plus, what would one date hurt?

She smiles back at Dakota and says, "Sure, Dakota."

Dakota smiles back at her. "Awesome. How about Friday night?" he asks.

"Sounds good," Ahsoka says.

The rest of the night is great, and Ahsoka even has a mock lightsaber fight with Hall, much to his family's enjoyment.

The next day, Ahsoka had gone back to the Terran Jedi Temple, which had just been completed a month earlier. As she walks into the training room, she doesn't even see Master Plo, as she's lost in her thoughts.

"Little 'Soka. What is it?" Master Plo asks, drawing her attention.

Ahsoka looks up at Plo in surprise. "Oh, sorry, Master Plo. I didn't see you there. I was just lost in thought," she says.

"About what?" Plo asks.

Ahsoka is quiet for a moment, then decides to just say it and says, "You've met Colonel Hall's brother Dakota, right? Well…he asked me out on a date last night."

Plo just looks at Ahsoka for several moments before saying, "Really?" He sounds slightly amused.

"Yes. I was just thinking about it. I just never saw myself as one to get involved in dating and romance," Ahsoka says.

Plo is quiet for a few moments. Then, he says, "Well, the Code no longer forbids it. He seems like a good man. I don't see why you should be nervous."

Ahsoka smiles. "Thanks, Master Plo. But, that's enough of that talk. We have work to do," she says.

That Friday night, Ahsoka drives up to Frederick, where she agreed to meet Dakota for their date. She's dressed in her new Jedi outfit, not sure what else to wear.

As she reaches the restaurant and gets out of her car, she sees Dakota waiting near the entrance of the restaurant, Olive Garden, dressed in a nice long sleeved shirt and jeans. As Ahsoka walks over to him, Dakota sees her and smiles.

"Hello, Ahsoka," he says.

"Hi, Dakota," she says.

"Well, let's head inside," Dakota says.

The two walk in. The hostess, very surprised that the famous Ahsoka Tano is in her restaurant, greets them enthusiastically and brings them to their table.

After sitting down and ordering, Ahsoka and Dakota get into a real nice conversation. A lot of the conversation centers around Ahsoka retelling the story of her training as a Jedi prior to the Clone Wars.

After dinner is over, they head out to their cars. Dakota walks Ahsoka over to her car, and they exchange a hug.

"Thank you so much for going out with me, Ahsoka. I enjoyed it," Dakota says.

"So did I," Ahsoka says with a smile.

"I'm heading down to Langley for a week and a half or so. When I get back, would you like to go out with me again?" Dakota asks.

Ahsoka feels a little surprised at being asked out again so soon. But, she smiles and says, "Sure."

Dakota smiles. "Awesome. I'll contact you once I find out when I'll be back in the area," he says. The two then separate and Dakota walks back to his car as Ahsoka gets into her car.

(May 21, 1997)

Ahsoka smiles as she and Dakota pull up to the Jedi Temple. They had just finished their sixth date in the last two months, and Dakota was bringing her back to the Temple.

Dakota parks in the parking lot outside the Temple, and he and Ahsoka get out of the car. Together, they walk towards the entrance to the Temple, chatting as they go.

Finally, as they near the entrance to the Temple, they stop and look at each other.

"Thank you for taking me out again, Dakota," Ahsoka says.

"Of course, Ahsoka. Each time I go out with you, it makes my week even better," Dakota says.

Ahsoka smiles back at Dakota. For several moments, they stand there in silence. Then, Dakota says, "You know, Ahsoka…you're amazing. Some people have asked me why I've been going out with an alien, but I always tell them its because you're the most amazing girl I've ever met, and because I…"

Dakota pauses. Then, he reaches up, places his hands on the side of Ahsoka's face, and pulls her towards him. Before Ahsoka can react, Dakota kisses her.

Ahsoka stands there in shock. She's been kissed once before when Lux Bonteri kissed her to shut her up and keep her identity hidden from Death Watch, but that was hasty and meaningless, and weird. But this one is soft, slow, and meaningful.

After a few moments, she begins kissing Dakota back. A few seconds later, Dakota pulls away and smiles down at Ahsoka. "Ahsoka, will you be my girlfriend?"

Ahsoka sits there, quiet for several moments. Kissing her was one thing. Now, asking for her to be his girlfriend makes her feel a little nervous. But something inside her tells her this is right. So, she smiles, and says, "Yes, Dakota."

Dakota smiles and gives her a quick peck on the lips. "I got lucky to have you in my life," he says. Ahsoka smiles back at him.

"I have to go. I'll call you tomorrow," Dakota says before walking off.

Ahsoka walks into the Temple, but immediately sees Plo standing just inside the door.

Ahsoka stops dead. "Did you see that?" she asks.

"I did indeed. And I am very happy for you, Ahsoka. He seems an honorable man," Plo says in a tone that makes it clear he would be smiling if he could.

Ahsoka smiles. "Thank you, Master Plo," she says.

(December 25, 1999)

Ahsoka smiles as she unwraps a gift from Mrs. Hall. She's again spending Christmas with her boyfriend's family in Pennsylvania.

"Thank you, Mrs. Hall," Ahsoka says she holds up a hand knitted sweater.

"Of course, Ahsoka," Mrs. Hall says.

"Alright, sweetie. I've got one more gift for you," Dakota says, walking up with a small box.

He hands it to her, and Ahsoka starts to open it. As she does, she sees it contains a small velvet box. Ahsoka picks the box up, examines it, then opens it. As she does, her eyes widen.

The box contains a beautiful diamond ring. Ahsoka looks up from it at Dakota right as Dakota kneels down and takes the box from her, holding it so she can still see the ring, and says, "Ahsoka, you've shown me that love truly knows no bounds. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So, Ahsoka Tano, will you marry me?"

Ahsoka sits there in shock, not sure what to say. Even after dating Dakota for two and a half years, she had rarely thought about marriage, and never very seriously. She had never really seen herself getting married. She had also never really thought that, despite saying he loved her, that Dakota would want to marry a Togruta.

But, as she stares at Dakota and the incredible look of happiness and love on his face, she feels those same feelings welling up in her. A few years ago, she had no real interest in even thinking about ever being in love. But now, she knows how much she loves this man in front of her, and that she also wants to spend her life with him. So, a huge smile breaks out on her face, and as her eyes water a bit, she says, "Yes!"

Dakota's family breaks out in cheers as Dakota, beaming, removes the ring from the box and slides it onto Ahsoka's ring finger. Once the ring is in place, Ahsoka leans in and kisses her new fiancée.

(July 20, 2000)

Ahsoka takes a few deep breaths, smoothing out the folds of her white dress. Today is the day. Her wedding day.

Master Plo walks up. She had asked him to walk her down the aisle.

"Are you ready, Little 'Soka?" he asks.

"I don't know, Master. I've never been more nervous," Ahsoka says.

"Trust in your feelings. Trust Dakota and yourself. And it will all work out," Plo says.

Ahsoka smiles. "Thank you, Master Plo," she says.

Plo nods, then offers his arms. "Shall we?" he asks.

Ahsoka nods and laces her arm through his. They hear music begin to play at the site of the ceremony, which is a courtyard/garden on the outside of the Jedi Temple

The two walk out into the courtyard, where hundreds of guests are gathered. At the end of the aisle is Dakota, dressed in his military dress uniform, smiling brightly. Standing behind him is President Bush, who at Ahsoka's request had agreed to officiate the wedding.

As Ahsoka and Plo reach the end of the aisle, Plo hands her off to Dakota, resting a supportive hand on Ahsoka's shoulder before going to take his seat.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Ahsoka Tano and Dakota Hall," President Bush begins the ceremony.

As Ahsoka looks into Dakota's eyes, she sees the incredible look of love in his eyes, and she feels the tears begin to run down her cheeks. Despite all the reservations she's had, and everything their relationship has been through, she knows she would not give up this moment for anything.

Suddenly, she hears, "Do you, Ahsoka Tano, take Dakota Hall as your lawfully wedded husband?"

Ahsoka is surprised so much of the ceremony passed while she was just staring at Dakota. But, she smiles and says, "I do."

"And do you, Dakota Hall, take Ahsoka Tano as your lawfully wedded wife?"

"Yes, I do," Dakota says.

"Then, by the power I hold as President of the United States, I declare you husband and wife. Dakota, you may kiss your bride," President Bush says with a smile. Dakota and Ahsoka pull each other in close, and their lips meet in their first kiss as husband and wife as the crowd cheers loudly.

(December 25, 2004)

Ahsoka and Dakota sit together, feeling very anxious. They'd known since yesterday that this was going to be happening today, but both of them feel very nervous.

"Do you think it's been long enough?" Ahsoka asks.

"I think so. Let's go see them," Dakota says.

Ahsoka and Dakota stand up and walk into the bathroom of their home in Frederick. As they enter the bathroom, they look at the three pregnancy tests resting on the counter. As they look down at them, they see the pink plus sign on every one of them.

Ahsoka and Dakota stare down at the tests for several moments. Then, in a flash, they turn to each other and throw their arms around each other, both feeling themselves start to tear up.

After about a minute, Dakota is the one to finally speak as he says, "We're going to have a baby, 'Soka."

"I know. I never, ever imagined myself as a mother. As a Jedi, I never thought this would happen to me. But now…I couldn't be more happy," Ahsoka says. She then kisses Dakota, overwhelmed with happiness. "This is the best Christmas gift ever," she says in a soft voice.

(September 1, 2005)

"Push, Ahsoka!" the doctor says.

Ahsoka cries out in pain as she pushes again, squeezing Dakota's hand tightly.

"You're doing great, honey," he says.

"Alright, Ahsoka. One more push," the doctor says.

Ahsoka takes a deep breath, then pushes as hard as she can. She cries out in pain again, then feels a huge sense of relief.

A split second alter, a baby's cries fill the air. Ahsoka looks down as a crying baby girl is placed on her chest.

Ahsoka sits there for a second, stunned. She examines the little girl, who physically looks like a Togruta, but her orange colors are very faint. Her skin looks almost the color of Dakota's skin, but with a slight orange tint.

Then, it finally hits her that his crying little girl is her daughter, and Ahsoka begins to cry as she hugs the little girl tightly.

The doctors soon take the baby back so they can clean her off. Ahsoka looks over to Dakota, tears in her eyes.

"We have a daughter," she says.

Dakota beams back at her. "Yes, babe. We do," he says.

(Present)

Ahsoka smiles fondly as she reflects on the major milestones of her and Dakota's relationship. Then, she feels Jacob trying to climb on her, and she laughs as she stands up, Jacob now on her shoulders.

Dakota walks up, smiling. "You're perfect. Have I ever told you that?" he asks.

"Yes, but I never tire of hearing it," Ahsoka says. She and Dakota then lean in and kiss, drawing some exclamations of "Ew!" from Jacob.

Suddenly, a holo-communicator resting on the counter begins beeping. Dakota walks over to the counter and touches it, causing a hologram of General Dempsey to come up.

"General. What do I owe this pleasure?" Ahsoka asks as she sets Jacob down.

"Master Tano. I'm calling to pass on a serious situation report. We have received intel of an Imperial battlestation being constructed with the power to destroy entire planets. I've dispatched Admiral Adams and a team to find the Rebel Alliance, but I'm calling you for let you know that, as of now, it seems we are probably within just a few weeks of declaring war on the Empire. I wanted to let you know in case we need to call on the Jedi to help us. I also understand if this may be difficult for you, given...your old master," Dempsey says.

"Understood, General. Thank you for the warning and for your concern," Ahsoka says.

The transmission cuts off, and Ahsoka and Dakota turn to each other. "Well. Looks like its almost time," Dakota says.

"I guess so," Ahsoka says. She pauses, then says, "But we'll make it through. And we'll finally be able to bring down the Empire."

Dakota smiles. "I guess our plans for a third kid are on hold for now," he says.

Ahsoka chuckles. "Don't worry, honey. We'll have another kid," she says. She then gives him another kiss, trying to keep her mind off the fact that she may soon have to meet her old master once again.

And, I'll end there. I hope you liked this chapter.

So, some of you asked if Ahsoka would fall in love. Well, here's your answer. She is married with two kids. I hope you guys like how I did this chapter, and how I showed her and Dakota's relationship through the flashbacks. Also, for those wondering, yes, Ahsoka will have one more child before this story is over. Also, for those wondering her age, she is now 36.

Next chapter will hopefully be up tomorrow. Until it is up, please leave a review, and stay tuned.
